Sorry but I can't get over the fact that in Dead Apple Byakko went out of its way to attack Rashomon. Like imagine there's this ability named Draconia that not only causes abilities to separate from their users, but specifically makes it so that those separated abilities' only goal is to kill their owner. Like that's genuinely the only thing they're meant to do. And then you have Byakko unpromptedly attack Rashomon because sskk's existences are so deeply connected, they even defy ability laws. Like go off I guess

Dead Apple Mori knowing the difference between Fukuzawa and his ability because of the rhythm of his sword fighting.

Guild Arc Dazai dodging Chuuya's kick saying its no use because he's memorised his attacks and even his breathing patterns.

Cannabalism arc Akutugawa telling Goncharov that most people are unaware of the true strength of Atsushi's ability.

That it can cut through abilities, but as they've tried to kill each other many times, Akutugawa knows better than anyone what he's capable of.

I love how both dazai and atsushi tried the "babe look at me, this isn't you!!" with their vampire boyfriends and both of them have failed miserably.

I don't know who is more delusional here (probably skk and sskk fans)

after reading volume 3 of dead apple it is completely safe to say that was the gayest fucking thing i have ever laid eyes on. i have seen to queers making out on the side of the street and even that doesnt compare to the sheer amount of homosexuality dead apple contains. how did asagiri get away with this. i. what.

so heres a small summery of what i remember from that volume (warning- SPOILERS!)

i want to go on a 5 hour rant about the utter fucking amount of pure gayness i read but i have school in an hour so. enjoy this for now

Concept: Atsushi realising that just like with the last two singularities he’s fought (Dead Apple: Shibusawa, 55 minutes: Gabriel) he can’t defeat Gozen unless he unleashes the true power of the tiger.

Atsushi who’s lost so much, too much and refuses to lose anyone else. The darkness in his eyes filling their light and he makes the choice so easily. It should share him, horrify him and yet it makes him feel light.

He stares at the notebook in his hands as he gently puts it on the ground.

He has to fix this.

Atsushi looks at the wrecked form of the President and tells him to let go. To break the bond between All Men are Equals and Beast Beneath the Moonlight.

Fukuzawa understands and yet his heart breaks at the thought. He hesitates but puts his trust in his subordinate. He hopes Atsushi knows what he’s doing.

It’s a dull ache in his heart as the connection shatters.

Akutagawa is putting two abdominal two together and yells at Atsushi to stop. The last time this happened it was all instinct, but this feels different. Akutagawa doesn’t know what this will do him.

And he’s afraid to find out.

But his calls go on deaf ears because if Atsushi can’t save the people he loves, has he earned the right to exist at all? Agony erupts within him as the moon shines above.

Blue light engulfs Atsushi as he stares Akutagawa in the eye.

“Whatever happens, don’t stop me.”

(Just like a certain red head said the day he lost his friends in the same vein Atsushi lost his. The irony of both duos being born from an act of grief and tragedy.)
