And if I say that Jason can't perceive himself as a proper adult after all these missing years that he spent being dead, and then catatonic, but at the same time, he was never taught how to be a kid, either. All he did was surviving as a child on the streets or taking care of Catherine, an act that made him taste responsibility and the harsh reality of the world from the very beginning of his conscious life. The closest "childhood" he got to experience was a few years as Bruce's son, and yet, it wasn't enough - he never got to feel fully safe and secure, he was never fully assured that he was a kid, who could do anything he wanted (case in point, him, thinking that Bruce disowned him after benching, and his desperate urge to find another parent since he was left alone, betrayed and pained).

So, yeah, Jason mourns the past, but most of the time he grieves the things he never got.

It is not about not being able to return to his childhood innocence. It is about having nothing to return to.

Hello again! I'm not sure if you answered this previously, but will you ever consider making physical books for "Poorly Drawn MDZS" because I would whip out my wallet SO FAST--

It's something that I've been thinking about While the answer has been strong 'maybe', there *is* a future where there will be some kind of physical version of my art - be it in stickers, a zine, prints, charms, or otherwise.

Personally, if PD-MDZS the comic was to be released physically, I would want to throw in some exclusive bonus comics/goodies to go with it! Please stay tuned!

Dick Grayson dies alone.

A drug bust, a rogue show off, a gang war. It didn’t matter in the end—it should have been simple but a well timed explosion or gunshot or gas fucked everything up.

And Dick Grayson is left to die alone.

Well not truly alone.

He can hear the rest of his family in his ear piece; Oracle’s yelling instructions over the comm lines as everybody scrambles to wrap up their fights and find him before it’s too late.

Dick is bleeding out, he knows it and they know it too, but despite their worries they have hope. Because it’ll work out. It always works out.

Just hang on a little longer.

It’ll be fine, you hear?

Just keep talking. Don’t go to sleep, we’re almost there.

Dick entertains them, cracks poor jokes between bloody coughs and shallow breaths.

The realisation eventually sets in after a moment, when Oracle curses the trackers and the team looks out at the vast expanse of damage they have to cover.

Dick falls quiet too, listening to them come to the same conclusion he did.

Jason is the first to start speaking again as they begin their search through the city for their brother.

You did good, Dick. Don’t worry. We’ll find you.

Not a promise of how or if or when.

He will be found.

Softer words followed after Jason’s first, still reassurances but no longer the same promises of safety they were frantically making before.

Dick dies alone, listening to his friends and family speak to him softly over the comms.

They do find him, hours later, after his body’s gone cold and his blood as drained from his skin. They promise that they’ll keep him dead, let him rest in the grounds behind Wayne Manor, where he gets to find and rejoin his parents once again.

Talent 2 - Shield-Raising Send-off Ceremony

After not attacking for several seconds, gains a Barrier equal to a certain % of Max HP, this talent's timer resets upon losing the Barrier

Skill 1 - Chief Firearms Inspector

The next attack hits 3 times in a row dealing a certain % of ATK as Physical damage and restores 1 ammo to a nearby [Laterano] operator with an ammo skill active

Skill 2 - Eight-Armed Chainsaw Man

When skill is active, ATK & DEF increases If Sankta Miksaparato were to receive lethal damage during skill duration, several rounds of ammo will be consumed to block that damage instance Skill activation grants several rounds of ammo, and the skill ends when all Ammo is used (can be manually deactivated)

Skill 3 - Pre-Retirement Evangelism

When skill is activated, immediately restores several rounds of ammo to all other [Laterano] operators; Attack Range expands, Max HP, ATK & DEF increases, Sankta Miksaparato stops actively attacking When attacked, Sankta Miksaparato will immediately counterattack and hit several enemies within Attack Range at once (the minimum Counterattack Interval is equal to a certain % of the regular Attack Interval) Skill activation grants several rounds of ammo, and the skill ends when all Ammo is used (can be manually deactivated)
