i have such a love for characters who descend into madness or villainy out of deep, deep empathy. characters who fundamentally cannot cope with the cruel realities they find themselves in and blow up about it in spectacular fashion. fallen angel type characters with tears of outrage in their eyes. characters who break before they bend, and break so badly they splatter blood all over their noble ideals. every variation on it gets me so good

Not much to say, they're literally just snails brugh. It was a nice challenge, I rarely get to practice creature design, translating from mc clothes to molluscs while still paying (some, quotations) respects to the original source material.

I’ve spent my whole life striving.

Striving for attention. For validation. For respect, worship even. For wealth. For comfort. For a good life.

Alas, as I sit here on my knees, wrists tied, staring up into bright green eyes that I fear so deeply, I wonder if I’ll ever have that. If my efforts will ever be rewarded.

I understand that I’m not a good person. I get that. But I’m almost 40 centuries old, and for what? Why must I suffer at the hands of the very mortals that should be bowing to me? Do they not understand that I am from the very depths of Hell?

Do they not understand the power I hold?

I could very well tear this universe to pieces if I so desired. I could rip every mortal I come across in half with my bare hands. I hold the ability to do terrible things. And yet these… vile, creatures, are insistent on treating me like a pest.

And for what gain? What do they expect to achieve when they’ve already found every piece of information they require, stripping away my value, my dignity.

Perhaps I’m not worthy of the love I see everyone else sharing. Perhaps I never will be. Perhaps all I am is just a lowlife. A nothing. A simple virus that’s eradication isn’t possible, but it’s symptoms so infinitesimal that it doesn’t matter.

…What even am I anymore?

people who go through the main tags of big and tumultuous fandoms looking for new fresh good posts to reblog are essential to any circle. they’re like true hunter gatherers leaving the safety of settlement and braving the unknown wilderness to find food for the flock. they risk their lives every day and will come back with a few scratches at best and severe psychological damage at worst
