#don’t get me wrong she IS quick to anger but that’s only when she’s 😭 provoked #in any sort of WAY #it costs her so much to be kind #to not let everything she deals with and every drag against her femininity / worth because of her gender and the constant demeaning #sexualization she undergoes and has to deal with as a way of ? undermining her capabilities as heir to the throne #which is very sadly the quickest way to do it because of her gender 😭#not to let all of that make her bitter and angry and cold because that would eat her up even more inside #and what would it help ? What would it help to let them win in some small way beyond giving them the satisfaction ?#she wants to be able to LIVE not merely ? bear her own misery #because like so MUCH of her life is scrutinized and watched #she copes by being kind to those who are kind to her / don’t outright great her with a level of hostility / disdain #it’s ‘ you won’t diminish me no matter how hard you try’#it’s all of her stubbornness and pride accompanied by a heart that wants above all to be loved #and won’t LET so much opposition get in the way of that because she can’t - she simply can’t

despite Laios low self esteem making him think that if he’d been eaten, Chilchuck and Marcille wouldn’t have helped Falin,

theres a small part of me that thinks the reason Chilchuck stayed with the party and went back in the dungeon in the first place was because he didn’t want to leave Laios alone. That Laios was moreso the reason he stayed.

A misunderstanding. Laios is on a first name basis with him for a reason.#He also worries probably more than anyone about Laios #And his biggest criticism of him is that hes “reckless”#he’s comfortable around Laios in a very specific way and so is Laios around him #and in the series he shows many times that he’ll risk his life to protect Laios #Like staying with him to confront the elves because he was worried Laios would say something stupid #Hes the first one to run up to him when Falin punches him #I mean I think he was also going back for Falin like its not like I think he doesn’t care about her or anything #He clearly does #But I don’t know if he’d have gone back if Laios hadn’t #And if Laios had been eaten I think he wouldn’t have even had to be convinced by Falin #I also think Marcille would’ve gone back for him but probably more bc Falin was going back #Like sort of a reversed thing #AGAIN not that I don’t think she cared about Laios at the beginning either #But she before the story she was mostly Falin’s friend who knew Laios through Falin #She only really got to know him when Falin got eaten and they had to do a team building exercise #Though now I sort of want to see an actually reversed scenario #Bc we also know that Chilchuck is sort of uncomfortable around Falin (said in relationship chart)#So I would love to see them be forced into a team building exercise to find a person they both love the way Laios and Marcille were

i need daniel to be overcompensating for his insecurities so bad. 100 times more cocky and rude and aggressive and insensitive than he was as a human, falling back into old dangerous habits and vices, not just because now he has new energy and power and wealth to flaunt but because it's ALL he has, and he needs to cling onto it. play it up and revel in it so no one sees that underneath, he feels like a botched fledgling in the body of a sick, faded old man who maybe has no real idea why he was even made. that armand might think he failed in making him. that his maker didn't even really want him.

#i think vampirism isnt inherently torturous to him in any sort of moral way #but more in an inner self worth/image way #louis felt he was failing because he rejected/didn't enjoy human blood and death #i can see daniel being fine with killing but being insecure about the way he turned out/the way he is now #and his complicated connection with armand and what it all means for him. why he cares what he thinks or feels when he doesnt want to #but he does. and he has all these questions he needs him to answer #this sort of thing would be a way to connect him to louis further and also lestat now #louis who felt like a “botched vampire” for a long time and lestat who was immediately abandoned by his maker #and how lestat coped with what had been done to him by trying to fully embrace what he'd been turned into #anyway the bottom line is i think he should suffer and struggle with vampirism just as much as everyone else has in his own way #but he still has to be a massive insufferable asshole about it. and maybe get smacked around a bit because of it #iwtv #daniel molloy

I started drawing this next day after I finished Act 6

13 or so days and it's finished!

Main things are traditional and Loop's body was edited digitally after

I've been torn on how to do Loop's body for the entirety of lining, also

A bit sad the main lines are visible only as a wip, most of this thing is literally just a ton of sharp lines

I think it's also my first day of drawing, Loop is just a sketch here (feat. my leg)

I really can't get over the image of Kaladin looking over to see a full size Syl staring back hauntedly at the dying army on the plateau. The whole time she's been so flighty and wispy but in this moment, the honor at stake gives her so much weight, and her being full size made me do a mental double take. It's almost cinematic, it feels so real. Incredible.
