Something im curious about (and you by no means have to answer), have you ever had bad reactions for being In The Know? Ive seen people who also know their identities say theyve received threats from others, and ive seen various things said to people in spaces where identities are talked about calling them bad people or other awful things. If im gonna be honest, I myself feel anxious at times that I might be one of the "bad fans" for the ways i approach the anonymity personally or approach the band in general, but i wont get into all that rn. From what ive seen youre respected here, but im curious

If I’m being 100% honest I created this blog fully expecting to get hate and harassment. I think because I’ve always respected the band’s anonymity publicly, it hasn’t been an issue? Then again I know some people who aren’t even running Sleep Token blogs that have been harassed simply for knowing identities. It's so strange to me because I'm over here with a steady stream of people asking me questions in DMs or just having casual discussions about the guys while the people getting harassed are just trying to stay in their own lanes.

People have talked shit before about a certain fan space I’m a part of, but never about me directly, so it’s easily ignored. Worst in that aspect isn’t even an interaction, but I’m blocked by the Instagram STMeme account somehow. Literally never heard of that account until another person realized they were blocked and then the whole group found out 😂

Funnily enough the worst interactions I’ve had have come from being mistaken for a prominent figure in the identity side of the fandom, including interactions directly with that same person.

Anon, in regards to what you said about being anxious if you're a bad fan or not: as long as you're not publicly revealing identities, telling people who don't want to know, or unjustly getting upset at people who do know but are minding their own business, you're fine. The anxiety alone should be enough to tell you that you aren't one of those people 🖤

hi, i'm the anon from the previous ask! 😊 glad we agree that we want silly goofy happy bucktommy, but also a healthy dose of relationship drama to makes them even stronger and even more secure in their love. the tarlos sl with the lizard was adorable! especially when thinking of bucktommy in endgame terms, i hope we can witness them getting to know each other gradually, and actually see them discuss the typical big questions that should be discussed in any romantic relationship imo. moving in, kids, marriage, pets, past trauma, hopes for the future, likes and dislikes, sex. there is so much to explore. and so many things in life that can cause friction (and positive growth!) in a relationship. fingers crossed we'll get to see all of that with bucktommy 💖

Oh yeah! For sure! This show is dramatic af so I don’t expect any smooth storyline for anyone. We always got fanfics for the fluff!

And like you said, I’d also love to see the steps of their relationship and the questions that come with it. I really would like for the sex talk conflict to be brought up on screen cause there’s some things there that could be really cool to see. What I’d like is for buck to take a long time to have sex, because this relationship is different, not just because it’s his first with a man, but given how buck is a slut (affectionate) a good conflict that could come from it is him being questioned on why he’s waiting so long (maybe by the 118 because they know he’s a slut) and we could see him confessing that he’s maybe scared of “ruining” it with tommy, that maybe he’s afraid of losing him, since all the people he had sex with eventually left. But at the end of the episode tommy reassures him and it goes great. Maybe I’m just rambling non sense here idk, I just thought of it lol

And yes! Fingers crossed! I just want them back on my screen!

i've said around a million times by now that it's not about the notes for me.

ruin you and many other fics didn't get many notes but the interaction was there and fun, i don't give a shit about the notes. we had a lot of fun with cmi last year too (not sure what happened, maybe the new plot was just not good?) and now the post i made got little to no reaction and that's disheartening for ccs, that's it. but many of us don't say anything about it. but then ofc it feels to me like, if i posted it now nobody would care.

i've been posting and talking about cmi for months and gauging interest and i don't get many responses to any of them, and writing takes a lot of time. if i put mine into this and get nothing back once posted, that's discouraging, but i feel like only ccs get that? other than that, blooming, the last sub-chapter was more or less ignored too, which is kind of why i didn't focus on cmi for all these months anymore, either – i love the story, i love the characters, so fucking much, but the motivation just died. idk what else to say to you, but i hope you understand

Hi, anon! This is an interesting question. To be honest, I haven't really seen any specific conversations about this, so I don't really know the context.

But just, personally, I think this is an interesting point to think about. I mean, first, I think the question of whether Buck wanted to call Tommy and the question of whether he planned to call Tommy are two very different questions.

In terms of wanted to, I absolutely think he wanted to call Tommy again. That boy was so smitten, even after their date disaster.

But while I think he wanted to call Tommy again, I don't know that I think he would have without Eddie encouraging him.

Because I think he had kind of resigned himself to the idea that he fucked up too badly and Tommy wasn't interested anymore and maybe he really wasn't ready. I think Buck struggles a lot with contending with his own feelings and sometimes feeling guilty for them, and I also think he probably didn't want to push Tommy’s boundaries, either, especially after the date had gone so bad when they'd run into Eddie.

So I do think Buck needed that push and encouragement to take that step to call Tommy again. And Eddie was probably the one he needed it from. Because Eddie has always provided a unique type of support for Buck. Because Eddie's primary concern when Buck is in his head about something is to make sure that Buck not only takes into account his own feelings, but also allows himself to feel them. Eddie asking Buck what he thinks? Asking him to consider his own feelings amid this new discovery about himself he's still working through? I think that was something Buck really needed to try to process what he was feeling and examining it probably helped him decide that it was worth at least trying by making that call.

So, yes, I do think Buck wanted to make that call. But no, I don't think he would have without Eddie's encouragement.
