Oona stands about 6’0 and has an ego so big it almost puts Abijah’s to shame. She’s a fairly rowdy and playful person so you will most likely be able to hear her before you see her. She’s mean as fuck to pretty much all men, and fairly nice by default women. Oona is the definition of a bisexual menace, but she definitely leans more towards the girlies. Have a girl bite back at her and she’s belly up like a dog. Looser behavior tbh.

hands down one of the best pieces of subtle world building this season is the name High Five Heroes and the way it doesn't mean anything. the Bad Kids and the Maidens' names actually say something about their respective groups and what they've done/been through. meanwhile High Five Heroes is clearly a name that was handpicked by Kipperlilly long before she stepped foot in aguefort on the first day or actually met any of her party members. it's a pre-approved inside joke specifically designed in a lab to be as bland and palatable and inoffensive as possible—a middle manager's attempt at manufacturing camaraderie. the most generic, perfectly marketable name she could come up with for her Perfect, Optimal Adventuring Party.

Think about it. You have gotten a date to the school dance. Then your date tells that he is going with someone else (you were just the second option in case the other person said no).

Hurts, but thankfully you have a new date who is really excited to go with you.

You have bought a nice dress, gotten your hair and make-up done. And then you wait for your date. He is late.

How long does it take for you to realize that he is not coming? He went with someone else (just like Kwan).

Do your friends notice that you are not at the dance or are they too busy with their own dates? Do you go to the dance alone? Or do you stay at home? Do you cry yourself to sleep and then next day tell everyone that you were the one who canceled, because your pride doesn't let you admit the truth?

I think when Arcane shifted the story to focus on one of those world-ending threats it somehow made the world smaller. The relationships became less intimate and more rote to the plot. When we do get strong character moments, the way their actions should reverberate across their network is cut off.

For example, when Jinx chose to set fire to The Last Drop it was a really striking moment for Jinx as she reached rock bottom, but the show fails to grapple with the fact this was also the place Sevika was living and working in. Act 2 of Jinx Fixes Everything revealed that Sevika had been sleeping and working in Silco's office ever since he died, dealing with her own grief that way.

Sevika probably has a home to return to but that isn't the point, the point is Jinx destroyed a place that wasn't just significant to her and members of the main cast, but the larger community that is Zaun. How does Sevika react? How does she still choose to work with Jinx after this moment? What about the other members of Silco's gang that followed Sevika into battle? The Last Drop was a part of a lot of people's lives, and Sevika is emblematic of that deep attachment, but we can't see her grieve it's destruction because there's no space for it in the show.

Incorrect, the fact that Biden has dropped out and a candidate with history of supporting medicare for all and being more receptive to a ceasefire in the I/P conflict has made me go from "I cannot morally support the Democratic nominee" to "I am voting for the Democratic nominee despite the fact she isn't perfect in every respect." I'm really happy this played out. The Dems for the most part abandoned the old Obama platform and it feels like its possible an actual progressive agenda could come to pass in my lifetime.

idk what people pleaser needs to hear this, but everyone at work liking you is the nightmare scenario. there is no light at the end of the tunnel doing that where everyone loves you forever. if you had to crush any parts of yourself to be likable you will forever have to keep the pressure on and you will never get to relax. you have to say no and you have to say I disagree and you have to say actually I didn't like that or I thought it was unfair and most of all you have to stop automatically agreeing before you even have a chance to think about if you do agree. it will feel very painful but it's the difference between stepping on a sharp rock and living with a small splinter in your foot for 20 years. also your coworkers liking the version of you that never complains and always agrees with them is not liking you it is actually them liking themselves which you are reflecting back to them. there is no such thing as everyone liking you. remember this or suffer the consequences
