Character Archives - [FILE-04]
Wood Man
"but i can't say i havent had fun screwing with the channel in siiva's absence.
not to mention, im always free to just... hop out and chill in other universes.
its always fun to see other worlds and other versions of characters, right? maybe purgatory ain't so bad."
With SiIvaGunner himself in a deep slumber [FILE-01] and Chad Warden gone [FILE-02], the finale of Season 1 seemed like a perfect place to let the story end and for our heroes to rest easy. Yet ever since The Reboot, the seeds of something bigger had been planted, a growing mystery, awaiting to sprout into something far greater. In The Voice's [FILE-03] final moments, he placed a curse on SiIvaGunner's computer, part-virus, part-figment, and all organic, taking the form of the nicest robot master in town - Wood Man.
Wood Man's directive was simple: wait for SiIvaGunner to leave his computer, then allow The Voice to be resurrected from the code to SiIvaGunner's reality. Yet since his inception, Wood Man has been laid-back, independent, and unruly. Before resurrecting The Voice, he chose to take over the SiIvaGunner YouTube and Twitter account just for the hell of it, interacting with fans on Twitter, and just posting whatever was on his mind across both platforms. Despite being created as merely a tool, being given access to the SiIvaGunner channel made him realize how much fun there's to be had in the world - and eventually, through interacting with the figments which The Voice sought to terrorize, Wood Man called it quits and went rogue.
Part Proto Man and part Deadpool, through his virus/figment properties Wood Man has been able to communicate directly with us in the audience on several occasions, a voice chiming in from time to time just to talk in the midst of whatever story the channel may be undergoing. Althewhile, those same properties have given him the ability to move between dimensions and parallel worlds at his own behest, letting him take part in or even lead channel events over the years. With his trademark lower-case speech, he remains chill and lightherted in any situation, aware of his abilities to escape from any danger he may encounter - a trait that, eventually, began taking a mental toll on him. Season after Season, Wood Man realized more and more that his love of short-burst fun and escapism was keeping him from resolving the connections he'd left behind in his original universe - procrastinating that which truly matters to him under a facade of unbothered adventuring.
In many ways, Wood Man acts as a voice for the SiIvaGunner team themselves, a battle of many creative artists wanting to at once have fun, whilst living up to the expectations set so long ago. Yet Wood Man's story is not a tragedy: Though his sudden awakening at the start of Season 2 was initially met with a lot of backlash and resentment from fans (see here), the fans eventually grew to love him - and Wood Man, in turn, loves the SiIvaGunner channel and everything it does, with his face proudly adorning the SiIvaGunner Art Team and SiIvaGunner Fusion Records logos. Toward the end of Season 6, Wood Man came to terms with his need to face his demons, and passed the mantle of inofficial SiIvaGunner figurehead onward. Though our guide-in-spirit for the channel for close to six years may have left, the lessons and values that Wood Man taught are here to stay: and the spirit of SiIvaGunner, both in the team and with us as the audience, burns brighter in kind.

I LOVE YOUR WORK (and NOW I KNOW MOST OF YOUR NAMES! REVISED 9/20/24.
One of the things I am most proud of about this Tumblr is how I attempted to give a little shine to the many talented artists who were inspired by Killing Eve to share their interpretations of Eve and Villanelle with us. I'm not Elmo Musk but I was able to commission or compensate some of them, but what I was not able to do was credit all of them. Every artist deserves proper credit, but unfortunately, not all of them have their name matched up to their work. If you are one of those artists or you recognize their work here, please let me know who you are for me to give you the credit you deserve. Thanks so much. Without you, this blog would have been so much less than it was.
(UPDATE! WE HAVE ARTISTS TO GO WITH THE ART!) 1. The first image is by quiddling/Tumblr. (thanks to image-sourcerer for the information). 2. The second image is by Azra/Instagram. 3. The third image is by Aleksketch
4. unknown 5. The fifth image is by sryybxby 6. The sixth image is by bb_humbl3 7. The seventh image is by zephyrzion_illustration/Instagram 8. The last image is by Lesly-Oh/Tumblr
(Thanks to evenvillain for information on 2, 3, 5-8)

ok that post has sent me down an INSANE rabbit hole because this painting
is not by dean cornwell, nor does it seem to be called "aftermath of a quarrel between gangsters." the only source for that title/artist is the guy who uploaded it to pinterest. a reverse image search shows that 1. the colors are severely oversaturated (see original below left) 2. the artist was american (but seemingly unknown) 3. it MAY be called "Scene of the Crime" 4. it was painted in 1923 and 5. it was put up for auction in 2010 as part of the charles martignette estate.
it also gives us the above right signature, which LOOKS like it starts with an F. the only artist listed in the auction that fits is fritz willis, but his signature doesn't quite match up. so now i'm basically stuck in the f section of artistssignatures.com until i die or figure it out

Post Notes:
Hello world!
Yesterday during classes, I did some character analysis from the Team Fortress 2 comics, and while going through the work afterwards, I realized that I had of old art from before that I didn’t share yet - so, here they are!
This is basically just a compilation of some of my unpublished “refined” (or at least post-worthy) TF2 art dating back to May 2023.
A few of them were made without a lot of reference (like the ROBLOX ‘Free Draw’ ones), with a few disproportionate limbs (Miss Pauling: Reference Sheet) and using artwork from other artists (in the wallpapers & Spotify Playlist covers - taken from TF2 official comics & unknown artists [please message me if you know them so I can credit them!], but seeing as they didn’t ressemble chicken scratch or effortless scribbles that badly, I decided to post them anyway!
I’m quite proud with how some of them came out, specifically the ROBLOX ‘Free Draw’ ones and the wallpapers, because I worked pretty hard on them and was able to display / use them afterwards, so I’m happy to be able to show that to you as well!
Of course, there’s always room for improvement (considering the observations from the paragraph above), so I will continue to strive for betterment moving forward (specifically anatomy and expression practice).
I’ll try to keep you posted whenever I can! There’s more to come very soon.
Hope you enjoyed my mini burst of a TF2 gallery :-)
(For more quirky content, follow me here on some of these platforms! (I’ll eventually make an account list post so keep your eyes peeled for that 👀)

Grassroots Youkai Network | Artist: peperon
Story 1 Kagerou Imaizumi is a werewolf who lives in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost. Differing from many people's image of a werewolf, she's very calm and dislikes fighting. Today, she's come to the Misty Lake to talk with Wakasagihime.
Story 2 Wakasagihime is a freshwater mermaid who lives in the Misty Lake. She's tranquil by nature and enjoys singing and collecting stones. She lives a peaceful life, never hurting others. Right now, she's poking her head above the water and greeting her friend.
Story 3 Sekibanki is a rokurokubi living among the humans in their village. Keeping herself to herself, she has a cynical view of the world and is yet to open up to others. She watches Kagerou and Wakasagihime talk and laugh on the lake shore. Will she remain as distant as ever, or did she come here with something else in mind…?
Story 4 The Japanese term for localized bulletin board systems is "kusa-no-ne net," or translated literally, "grassroots networks." They are PC communication services run by an individual or a small group of people. Operating via telephone lines, they provided message boards and chatrooms for people to share their interests and exchange data and information before the internet became widespread.
Story 5 The Grassroots Youkai Network provides a place for responsible youkai to exchange information and so forth. As a result, it's highly exclusionary, and its true form, scale, and structure remain unknown. Seeing as there are no phone lines (let alone the internet) in Gensokyo, it's thought someone involved must have knowledge of the outside world. How else could you explain the organization's name?

hi, saw your tzimisce concepts. So do you have any nossie concepts?
Thank you for the ask, Anon! Nossies are so much fun to dream up and play, so this'll be a treat for me! Let's see what the brain came up with this time. Slight TW for number six, as it deals with the modeling industry and all the toxicity that comes with it, but other than that, on with the show!
1. A Nosferatu special effects makeup artist who posts their horrific creations on social media, laughing internally at the fact that the gorey and gross latex creations they've become so famous for are actually better looking than their own face! They also earn their keep around the warren by crafting latex prosthetic facial makeup to help others avoid masquerade breaches.
2. A Nosferatu who was turned after one too many urban exploration trips into the sewers. While initially unhappy with the situation, they've found that their new disciplines make exploring so much easier, and as a result they've become something of a sewer cartographer, mapping out unknown paths and pipeways and dreaming up new ones.
3. A Nosferatu seamstress/tailor with long, needle-like fingers that they use to stitch together magnificent garments. They are so accomplished that Toreador have been seen visiting them for a consultation. However, their next project is one that's unique even for them: they plan on creating garments designed to compliment the rather..unorthodox figures of their fellow Nosferatu, using clothing to show off their unique beauty. Reactions among the kindred community are mixed, but invitations to the fashion show are a hot commodity.
4. So I mentioned Toreador doms/dominatrixes in my first VTM post, but GOD do I love the idea of a Nosferatu Dom who SPECIFICALLY offers their services to Kindred. If a vamp want to be degraded and called disgusting, getting called that by someone who looks like [INSERT NIGHTMARE HERE] and receiving pleasure in other forms must really make someone feel some type of way! I can very much imagine this character not only loving their job and how it makes them feel, but also loving the power they hold over their clients in and out of the bedroom.
5. A Nosferatu whose insecurity lead them to turn into a Nosferatu SUPREMACIST. They think their clan is superior in every way possible. Their appearance? It reflects the true nature of the beast and is therefore the most truthful. Their disciplines? Truly a unique set of blessings. Their living arrangements? Well, they preserve the masquerade, and its only a matter of time until they and the rest of their clan are surrounded by luxury. That is, if their plans to elevate the clan from low to high work out.
6. A Nosferatu Cleopatra who was previously a model. Interestingly, however, they are grateful to have been turned, as the toxicity of the industry made them hate their career and their own image. The embrace was an escape and a welcome transformation, albeit a bit jarring, and they now serve as a sort of counselor for fledglings that are still coming to terms with their new reality. ALTERNATIVELY (or simultaneously, if you're feeling spicy), they could be running a message board for dissatisfied models to vent, all the while using it to find prospective Cleopatras in need of "saving." Whether they want to be saved or not.
Hope you like these!

Timelines + Plot summary of Be My Favourite (spoilers for the whole thing)
A new timeline is counted every time the future is changed, even though after timeline 1 all of the past timelines don't have anything separating them. Each timeline is split as follows:
PAST while Kawi is in University.
INTERIM important events after the past timeline but before the future timeline.
FUTURE when Kawi is 30 years old.
Events the audience knows about are sorted into roughly chronological order regardless of which episode they were revealed in the series. Timeline 0 also has ANTERIOR for events that happened in the past, but before Kawi is in his second year of University.
For example, a reference to future-2 is the future section of timeline 2.
TLDR;
Timeline 0: the original one. Kawi's unreliable recollection means the audience knows slightly more about this timeline than he does.
Timeline 1: first time Kawi uses the time machine.
Timeline 2: Pisaeng kisses Kawi in the future of this timeline.
Timeline 3: Kawi achieved all the goals he thought he wanted and travels back to the future — only to find that his relationships have unraveled, his father is still dead, and it's generally a nightmare.
Timeline 4: After 10ish years of Kawi and Pisaeng being in a relationship, Kawi gets pneumonia and is intubated, so Pisaeng desperately travels back in time.
Timeline 5: a happy ending.
Timeline 0
ANTERIOR
BOTKAWI / KAWI fails to sing at the freshers event. He is dismissive of Pisaeng when Pisaeng tries to befriend him, but is on good terms with Max. He develops a crush on Pear after she is nice to him during 1st year. He loses his relationship with Max for an unknown reason, but one that is Kawi's fault.
PISAENG comes out to his mother as gay aged 15. Whether his father or Pear know is unknown. At university freshers Kawi catches his eye, but Kawi is uninterested in getting to know Pisaeng.
PEAR'S MOTHER leaves her family to become a visual artist, and is estranged from them because of this.
PONGSATHORN, PEAR'S FATHER is resentful of Pear's mother for abandoning him and Pear
THREEDAO, PISAENG'S MOTHER manipulates Pisaeng into staying closeted, and has her staff surveil him.
PISAENG'S FATHER is a foreigner and presumably why Pisaeng has a dual nationality in a country that allowed same sex marriage (as of 2015). He is not present in either Threedao or Pisaeng's lives after he and Threedao got divorced.
PAST
KAWI has a crush on Pear as he remembers her as being the only one who was nice to him in 1st year, and considers her the closest he has to a friend. He buys Pear drinks and leaves her nice notes as her Secret Santa, but fails to give Pear a gift on the day of the gift exchange. Kawi thinks that she and Pisaeng must have started dating after Pisaeng claims to be her Secret Santa.
PISAENG tells Kawi that he is Kawi's secret Santa in a way that makes him immediately failing to be normal about it in the ensuing timelines where Kawi deigns to befriend him less of a surprise. Kawi doesn't take him up on his proposed gift of having dinner together, so the two never become close.
PRAEMAI / PEAR is friendly towards Kawi the way she's friendly towards everyone, and has a crush on Pisaeng, but suspects heavily that he does not like her back. Whether she knows Pisaeng is queer is unknown, but it is unlikely.
MAX quits school to study abroad because he's tired of living in a queerphobic society.
NOT is friends with benefits with Kwan, but this is a secret.
THAWI, KAWI'S FATHER dies after downplaying his illness to Kawi.
KWAN is friends with benefits with Not, and at Not's request keeps this a secret even from Pear.
THREEDAO has political aspirations and is amassing a sizable following because of her progressive public image.
INTERIM
N/A
FUTURE
KAWI works as a subtitler and has been on a downward spiral since his father and only motivation to try in life died, and at present thinks of himself a a broke, friendless, loser. He is invited to Pear and Pisaeng's wedding and does not plan to attend. He is invited to Pisaeng and Pear's pre wedding party but doesn't drink any alcohol. He still has a grudge against Pisaeng for "stealing" Pear from him. He still has the broken music box he was planning to give Pear 10 years ago, and has it repaired by the MYSTERIOUS MAGIC UNCLE/ MMU
PISAENG and PEAR are getting married. How happy they are is unknown, but neither of them are at their hen night/stag do/pre wedding party, which is strange. Whether Pear knows Pisaeng is queer is unknown, but it is likely that she does.
MAX lives abroad and is unhappy for an unspecified reason.
NOT is famous but is generally distant from his peers. Whether he is still friends with benefits with Kwan is unknown.
KWAN seems to be doing alright. Whether she is still friends with benefits with Not is unknown.
THREEDAO: ?
Timeline 1
PAST
KAWI thinks it's a dream and acts appropriately unhinged. He spends time with his father (much to his father's confusion) and becomes properly acquainted with Pisaeng while trying to enlist Pisaeng on his wooing Pear mission by following Pisaeng around. While at Pisaeng's DJ job, Kawi tries alcohol for the first time and gets completely wasted. Kawi expresses jealousy over Pisaeng's seemingly perfect life, and is dismissive when Pisaeng says all that glitters is not gold. Kawi asks if Pisaeng has a thing for him since Pisaeng is going out of his way to help him home.
PISAENG is confused by Kawi's apparent personality change but is happy to make a new friend, with his crush at that. He steps in as Pear's secret Santa when Kawi didn't show up (as Kawi was visiting his father at the time.) Pisaeng flirts a bit with Kawi, but in a plausibly deniable way. He is charmed by Kawi's antics, but frowns when Kawi is jealous of his life. Pisaeng helps a drunk Kawi get home and truthfully says that he has a crush on Kawi, but passes it off as sarcasm.
PEAR has a crush on Pisaeng, but suspects heavily that he does not like her back.
MAX is considering quitting school to study abroad.
NOT is friends with benefits with Kwan, but wants to date Pear.
THAWI is confused that Kawi is suddenly interested in spending time with him, but dies after downplaying his illness to Kawi.
KWAN is friends with benefits with Not, and at Not's request keeps this a secret even from Pear.
THREEDAO has political aspirations and is amassing a sizable following because of her progressive public image, even as she encourages Pisaeng to stay closeted.
INTERIM
KAWI gets wasted at Pisaeng and Pear's pre wedding party, and is a heavy drinker in general.
FUTURE
KAWI is Pisaeng's best man. He is surprised and annoyed by this.
PISAENG and PEAR have remained close friends with Kawi and are still getting married. How happy they are and whether Pear knows Pisaeng is queer are both unknown. Pisaeng attributes Kawi's confusion at being in the wedding party to Kawi's drinking habit.
MAX is unhappy for an unspecified reason.
NOT is famous but generally distant from his peers. Whether he is still friends with benefits with Kwan is unknown.
KWAN seems to be doing alright. Whether she is still friends with benefits with Not is unknown.
THREEDAO: ?
Timeline 2
PAST
KAWI tries to convince his father to go to doctor's appointments. He tries to repair his relationship with Max, but doesn't get far. He does not notice how it's a little odd that Pisaeng is so invested in helping him woo Pear when they've known each other properly for 2 days, but accepts Pisaeng's help because he doesn't want Pisaeng and Pear to get married in the future. He goes out for a meal with Pisaeng after Pear and Kwan go home because he didn't feel comfortable eating non daintily in front of Pear.
PISAENG doesn't want to give Pear false hope so he helps Kawi to choose and pay for a gift upon finding out about Kawi's crush on Pear, and Kawi's accepting that he and Pisaeng are friends now. He assures Kawi that he has no romantic feelings for Pear. He feels upset when he sees Pear and Kawi's sort of date going well, but he wants them both to be happy so he leaves them to it. He drinks with Not & co, but remembers why he doesn't associate with these people. He tells Not to stay away from Pear and goes out for a meal with Kawi after Pear and Kwan go home, and enjoys that Kawi is comfortable enough to eat not-daintily. He wins a plushie from a claw machine that Kawi was interested in, and plans to give it to Kawi.
PEAR has a crush on Pisaeng and is happy to see him have a new friend, but less happy that Pisaeng is trying to set her up with said friend. She invites Kwan over to try and quash the date vibes of her meal with Kawi.
MAX tells Kawi to fuck off.
NOT is generally an ass, which is why Pisaeng doesn't hang out with him anymore. He has a friends with benefits relationship with Kwan, but keeps this a secret because he likes Pear. He invested in Pisaeng and Pear's relationship because he wants the go ahead to pursue Pear.
THAWI dies after downplaying his illness to Kawi.
KWAN is friends with benefits with Not, but at his request keeps this secret from even Pear.
THREEDAO has political aspirations and is amassing a sizable following because of her progressive public image, even as she encourages Pisaeng to stay closeted.
INTERIM
N/A
FUTURE
KAWI is Pisaeng's best man and best friend. He is alarmed at Pisaeng kissing him and wants everything to go back to how it was. He's told by the MMU that he can only move forward, and also that the time machine has limited uses.
PISAENG leaves Pear at the altar to drunkenly come to Kawi's place, kiss him, and tells him he's in love with him. He asks aggressively if Kawi had ever felt the same way, and his whereabouts after Kawi rejects him are unkown.
PEAR is left at the altar. This is a surprise, and devastating.
MAX: is unhappy for an unspecified reason.
NOT is famous but generally distant from his peers. Whether he is still friends with benefits with Kwan is unknown.
KWAN correctly guesses that Kawi has something to do with Pear's current heartbreak. Whether she is still friends with benefits with Not is unknown.
THREEDAO: ?
Timeline 3
PAST
BEFORE PISAENG'S CONFESSION
KAWI starts keeping a journal of all the stuff that's happened because of time travel and sets 4 clear goals: make up with Max, get medical treatment for his father, woo Pear, and avoid Pisaeng. Keeping this journal gets him back into writing, which he had previously neglected. Kawi finds out from the MMU that he can't find winning lotto tickets, i.e. some things are out of his control and also that the time machine has a limited amount of juice. The MMU laments the state of education these days and tells Kawi that the time machine only grants him the chance to solve self inflicted problem. Kawi resolves not to go back to the future until all of the missions are completed.
KAWI initially avoids Pisaeng because of future-2 Pisaeng's actions. He tries to push Pisaeng and Not together by inviting then both out to drink and fails, accidentally letting slip that he feels uncomfortable around Pisaeng. However, Kawi gets onto good terms with Not himself. He also gets back onto good terms with Max and is able to convince his father to go to the doctor.
KAWI gets hazed and goaded into confessing to Pear at camp. His insecurities mean he still hangs out with Not and the seniors that recorded him being rejected, unbeknownst to him. He fights with Pisaeng and Pisaeng almost kisses him (consensually), but Kawi stops Pisaeng and tells Pisaeng to be honest with Pear and with himself before Pisaeng hurts anyone else.
KAWI applies for the student rep so that he can "get on Pear's level," presuming that one big change could turn his life around. He adds it to his list of missions. It's through trying to come up with a talent for his application that he gets back into singing and songwriting.
KAWI is made to realise by Max that future-2 Pisaeng's actions are not past-3 Pisaeng's actions. He apologises to Pisaeng and encourages Pisaeng to confess to him. He gently turns Pisaeng down, but they become closer after this.
PISAENG is charmed by Kawi and hurt over Kawi's sudden distance from him. He is so upset he doesn't speak to Kawi for several days upon learning that Kawi was trying to offload him onto Not, assuming that it was his queerness that made Kawi feel unsafe around him. He throws the plushie at Kawi angrily when Kawi pays him back for Pear's gift, as he perceived this as Kawi's saying that they don't *need* to hang out anymore.
PISAENG does not go to camp on the bus with everyone else, instead driving himself and arriving in the evening. He is jealous that Kawi has been hanging out with Not & co at camp, and cuts the call Not is using to record Kawi and Pear's conversation. He's angry when Kawi gives up on Pear after being rejected by her and dances with a girl in a club. He ends up straddling Kawi when they fight over this and leans in to kiss Kawi as if in a trance. He is alarmed at how much he likes Kawi, even if he can't say it aloud yet, and gains the courage to reject Pear after knowing she's had a crush on him for a long time. He agrees to help Kawi woo Pear.
PISAENG sees two men kiss at his DJ job and goes to a gay bar to figure himself out, but leaves without entering. Pisaeng suggests Kawi should sing as his talent in the student rep interview like he did when they met in 1st year, but Kawi is dismissive as he thinks Pisaeng is too privileged to understand the feeling of pressure.
PISAENG goes back and actually enters the gay bar, but runs away after being noticed by Max. He asks Max not to tell anyone (because he is afraid of his mother) and is told to get over himself (because Max assumes he's internally homophobic). Max's advice gives him the courage to confess to Kawi but also to embrace a queer identity even when he is rejected by Kawi.
PEAR is happy about Pisaeng's and Kawi's friendship. As sociable as she is, the only one she confides in are Pisaeng and to a lesser extent, Kwan, and she knows Pisaeng was just as lonely. She invites Pisaeng to dinner with her dad, and is rejected. She rejects Kawi and is rejected by Pisaeng at the camp, but her relationships with both of them are stronger for it. She's upset about being rejected by Pisaeng, but already suspected that he didn't like her back.
MAX gives advice to Kawi about Kawi's crush on Pear and Pisaeng's crush on Kawi for his own entertainment. It's still good advice. After meeting Pisaeng again in the queer bar, he tells Pisaeng to confide in him if there's ever a need.
NOT is supportive of Kawi and Pear getting together as considers Kawi a friend, as much as he likes to humiliate Kawi (and was surprised that Kawi likes girls). He undergoes some character development after being roasted by Pear at the Camp, and by Kwan in general. He seeks Pear's approval of his book and in the long term a romantic relationship with her after she rejects Kawi. Pear hasn't read his book, but Kwan has. He wishes Kawi good luck at the student rep interview after being encouraged by Kwan. Not is in a friends with benefits relationship with Kwan, but keeps this secret as he wants Pear.
THAWI has a closer relationship to Kawi because of Kawi's regular check ins, and is persuaded to go to the doctor more often.
KWAN disapproves of Not hazing Kawi and recording Kawi's confession to Pear, but is persuaded not to tell Pear. Later, she asks Not to sign her copy of his book because she thinks everyone needs a bit of encouragement. She and Not have been friends with benefits for an unspecified amount of time. She wants to date him seriously, but they are not exclusive.
PAST
AFTER PISAENG'S CONFESSION
KAWI wants to become student representative but is recruited by a senior, Fluke, to be the lead singer in his band. He focuses on Pisaeng while singing with the band and the montage implies that he's thinking about the time they've spent together. Kawi confides in Pisaeng about his father's health issues and his mother's estrangement. Kawi borrows Pisaeng's nice shirt for a dinner with Pear's father to ask for help, and marvels at Pisaeng's appartment. At the dinner he finds out Pisaeng already took the initiative, and leaves the dinner in a huff to argue with Pisaeng.
KAWI is defensive when Max asks him about what exactly he feels for Pisaeng in the queer bar while he and Max discus Kawi's argument with Pisaeng. On the bus ride home, Kawi thinks about a dinner where his father's friends talked of their children's high earning jobs, which Kawi's humanities degree is unlikely to net him, and how he accused his father of seeing him as a burden. Kawi calls his father to apologise about projecting his insecurities onto his father, and immediately after goes to Pisaeng to apologise about the same thing. He tries to tell Pisaeng about something important but passes out drunk into Pisaeng's arms. In Pisaeng's house he impulsively kisses Pisaeng when Pisaeng responds to his self deprecation with "I like you. You're cute." However, he falls asleep almost immediately afterward. At Pisaeng's request he puts this out of his mind to focus on his father's healthcare, apologising to Pear also.
KAWI talks to his father before the surgery and refutes his father's claim of being a failure of a father, telling the father that he's proud to be his son. He asks Pisaeng to stay with him during his father's emergency surgery as Pear isn't there and Max has to be at work. Upon hearing that the surgery was successful, he goes to sing with Fluke's band, and feels content enough with the state of his life to go back to the future.
PISAENG accompanies Kawi to the recording session with the band, and the montage (only visible to the IRL audience) implies that he's thinking about the time they've spent together. When Kawi borrows a shirt for a dinner with Pear's father he ""jokes"" about how he'd let Kawi move in if they started dating, truthfully saying that he'll wait since Kawi still likes Pear. He is unhappy that Max is fooled by his mother's progressive public image because he knows full well how she treats her queer son, but doesn't tell Max this.
PISAENG is confused at why Kawi suddenly feels the need to express gratitude and apologise to him, but gruffly accepts and tells Kawi not to worry about trying to pay him back. He softens when Kawi passes out, and takes Kawi to his house. He straightforwardly replies that he likes Kawi and he finds him cute when Kawi asks why Pisaeng goes out of his way as Pisaeng is helping Kawi wear some pajamas, and is shocked when Kawi impulsively kisses him. He is ready to do more than kiss upon acertaining that it wasn't some kind of accident, but stops upon realising that Kawi has fallen asleep. His mother comes home unexpectedly, and he hugs her begrudgingly.
PISAENG is confronted by his mother over going to a queer bar, but responds that he won't be manipulated into staying in the closet for her convenience like he was as a teenager, even if they do live in a queerphobic society. He hears Kawi sleep mumbling about the music box being a time machine and is shocked, but decides not to follow up on this or the kiss the next morning as he thinks Kawi has enough on his plate. At breakfast he replies with conversation enders to his mother's questions + those she directs at Kawi.
PISAENG stays with Kawi while Kawi's father is in emergency surgery, sending a text to Pear informing her of this. He smiles sadly when Kawi immediately lights up and kind of forgets about him when Pear arrives after the surgery is over.
PEAR is upset and confused when Kawi suddenly leaves dinner but helps convince Pongsathorn to take Kawi's father on as a patient anyway. Immediately after the failed dinner she goes to drink at a bar frequented by her friends, hoping to run into one of them. She runs into Not but thinks friend is a strong word for her relationship to him. She declines to go "somewhere nice" with Not and denies being in a relationship with Kawi. Still, she finds Not's theorising about Kawi's sexuality distasteful, and tells Not this. She doesn't immediately go to the hospital when she hears about Kawi's emergency surgery, reasoning that she wouldn't be of any help. When she does go, she assures Kawi that he won't have to worry anymore.
MAX hangs out with Pisaeng while Kawi has dinner with Pear's father. He expresses admiration of Threedao and her public stances on queer rights and such. He figures out that Pisaeng is the one crushing on Kawi after seeing them argue about Kawi's father. He takes Kawi to the queer bar to hash it out, and expresses concern over how heavily Kawi drinks nowadays, his treatment of Pisaeng, and Kawi's constant refusal of help. He asks Kawi how exactly he feels about Pisaeng.
NOT meets Pear at a bar and implies that he and Pear should date since Pisaeng doesn't like her back and Kawi is probably gay in his estimation. He is somewhat shaken when Pear asks if he thinks Kawi isn't straight because he isn't prickish like him.
THAWI is happy to hear that Kawi has started singing again and has made some new friends. He is confused as to why Kawi wants him to bring forward his surgery and doesn't want to burden Kawi with the bill, but begrudgingly obliges after Kawi insists. He undergoes heart surgery but unfortunately dies from surgery complications, unbeknownst to Kawi. Before the surgery he apologises to Kawi for failing him, and says he'd do more to make Kawi proud if he could go back in time. When Kawi says that he *is* proud, he makes Kawi promise to be happy and not become a shell of himself even if the surgery doesn't go well.
KWAN and NOT have been friends with benefits for an unspecified amount of time. She wants to date him seriously, but they are not exclusive.
THREEDAO tells Pisaeng her staff saw him at a queer bar and mentions how he should talk to (i.e. clear it with) her before he does anything not straight. She scoffs at the idea of being homophobic when she has many queer staff and even accepts (sort of) her queer son. She questions Kawi when she sees him at breakfast and even though her probing questions are shot down by Pisaeng she figures out Pisaeng is in love with Kawi because Pisaeng has no other friends, and certainly not ones he would lend his clothes or bed to.
INTERIM
KAWI notes that Pisaeng is very patient when Pisaeng is still in love with him after the better part of a decade. He becomes a successful solo artist after Fluke's band broke up following moderate success. He never married Pear despite her wanting a marriage and kids badly, which strains their relationship. What causes them to break up finally is Kawi's pursuit of a music career + the emotional affair he has with Pisaeng for the entirety of his relationship with Pear. Oftentimes Kawi kisses Pisaeng while drunk, and Kawi is drunk often.
KAWI is questioned by interviewers over whether his relationship to Pisaeng was a catalyst for his and Pear's breakup, and whether his relationship to Pisaeng is romantic. He denies this, and even though he tells Pisaeng himself that it isn't Pisaeng's fault, he tells Pisaeng to keep more distance from him in public so that he won't have to answer such questions. He receives an invitation to Pear's wedding to Not and rips it.
PISAENG observes the anniversary of his confession to Kawi for at least 8 years, and his feelings toward Kawi don't waver in that time, even up to the time that time travelling Kawi encounters him. On one of these anniversaries he gives Kawi a guitar pick. He cuts off contact with everyone including his mother and Kawi shortly after Kawi and Pear break up. He feels he is at fault for the breakup and also feels a little strung along. He is stung by the accusation (from Kawi) that he might have been spilling information about Kawi, but also that Kawi is so rankled by the idea of him and Pisaeng being seen as more than friends even if it is just by nosy bloggers. He still keeps tabs on Kawi though.
PEAR breaks up with Kawi after years of a strained relationship and feeling strung along. She is also on bad terms with Pisaeng because of his relationship with Kawi. She gets pregnant by Not and decides to marry him because she wants a family of her own.
FUTURE
KAWI is giddy to be up on stage as a singer and thinks he's living the perfect life, but future-3 starts to lose its shine as he begins to remember interim-3 Kawi's memories. Upon remembering that it is Pear's wedding day Kawi drives there while still tipsy. He tells Pear he's happy if she's happy and makes to leave, but runs into Kwan. After finding out how Not treated both her and Pear, Kawi punches Not and gets kicked out of the hall. He asks Pear why she would settle for Not but isn't really satisfied with her answer.
KAWI asks Max for Pisaeng's contact information and goes to find him. He is relieved to find out that Pisaeng isn't angry with him, and is comforted by Pisaeng when he starts crying about how much of a mess future-3 is. Kawi asks Pisaeng if he's really sick in the head as Max thinks. Satisfied with Pisaeng's answer, Kawi wants to get in the water but only up to his knees, and Pisaeng insists they splash around properly. After they dry off, Kawi asks how long Pisaeng will stay out on the middle of nowhere, and drinks though a week or two supply of Pisaeng's beer while playing guitar under the stars. He thanks Pisaeng for everything, and Pisaeng thanks him back, but for what—Pisaeng won't say.
KAWI asks Pisaeng to sing him a song with the guitar, and impulsively kisses Pisaeng. He is confused when Pisaeng pulls back and asks when Kawi will stop doing this. He is devastated when Pisaeng tells him not to follow and indeed disappears. Kawi goes back to working as a singer and receives a postcard from Pisaeng about how they'll never see each other again, and he resolves to go back to the past.
PISAENG lives in a camper van next to a beach. He tells Kawi that if he really wanted he wouldn't have been so easy to find, and pats Kawi's shoulder when Kawi cries, but does not hug him. Pisaeng hesitates and says he doesn't know when asked if Kawi is sick, but then says that everyone is sick nowadays, whether a little or a lot. He and Kawi splash around and he admits to being a fan of Kawi and buying his magazine covers as Kawi dries off. He thanks Kawi for helping him with something very important, likely with being comfortable identifying as a queer man, but won't say what exactly.
PISAENG sings a love song for Kawi but pulls away when Kawi impulsively kisses him, and tells Kawi not to follow him, lest he disappear from Kawi's life entirely. He thinks about the period just after Kawi and Pear's breakup while he sobs alone on the beach. He is gone by the next morning, leaving Kawi, his camper van, and everything else behind. Some time after, he sends Kawi a postcard saying that he's fine, sorry for disappearing, and that he still cares about Kawi and Kawi's work, but he won't be in contact with Kawi ever again.
PEAR is marrying Not. When Kawi is dragged out of the hall for punching Not she goes to talk to him alone. When asked by Kawi why she would settle for Not, she says that at some point everyone is forced to settle under the weight of their past mistakes.
MAX is Kawi's manager/personal assistant and only friend. He has grown tired of wrangling interim-3 Kawi and thinks time travelling Kawi's appearance might be him turning over a new leaf, but Kawi immediately falls into interim-3 Kawi's patterns. Max tells Kawi frankly as Kawi goes to drive tipsy to Pear's wedding that Not may be an ass but Pear is happier than she was with Kawi. Later, Max clears Kawi's work schedule so that he has time to go to therapy. He is reluctant to give Kawi Pisaeng's contact info because of how much Kawi has made Pisaeng suffer, but doesn't feel the need to elaborate on what he means by this. Max is not present when Kawi returns from seeing Pisaeng.
NOT is marrying Pear. He has promised Pear to stop seeing Kwan, but whether he actually does so is unknown. He gets punched by Kawi at his wedding.
KWAN sits outside Pear's wedding party and regrets attending. She tells Kawi that Not was with her and Pear at the same time — although her relationship to Not couldn't be described as dating if Not kept her a secret — even if she loved him.
THREEDAO is not in contact with Pisaeng. Whether she has a political career is unknown.
Timeline 4
PAST
BEFORE PISAENG ACTIVATES THE TIME MACHINE
KAWI hugs Pisaeng while sobbing immediately upon returning to the past, overcome with relief that he has a chance to fix their relationship. He attends his father's funeral and gives Pisaeng his journal detailing all the time travel while he packs up his father's life. Kawi tells Pisaeng about being from the future and changing the timeline, asking Pisaeng to understand that if the relationship between him and Kawi is bad then everything spirals. This is (one) reason why Kawi has resolved not to hurt Pisaeng anymore. He asks Pisaeng to trust him and do what he asks so that he can set everything right. He struggles to tell Pisaeng that he's trying to date him while they discuss the journal on the roof.
KAWI attends a pride rally with Max since Pear is busy, and asks Max if it's worth fighting. Max's response and speech prompts Kawi to ask Pisaeng to come to the rally. Kawi's shitty phone dies while he implores Pisaeng to not go abroad with Threedao, but before Kawi has a chance to say he likes Pisaeng back (although he would rather have confessed in person anyway). He is relieved that Pisaeng was only seeing his mother off, but still struggles to spit out what he's feeling until Pisaeng motions to leave again. Kawi says that losing Pisaeng was the greatest mistake of his life, and that he can't let it happen again so can Pisaeng go out with him and set everything right?
KAWI goes with on a date with Pisaeng to a sushi restaurant, and tells Pisaeng that he's quitting alcohol. He is confused when Pisaeng doesn't think that finishing eating is cue for the end of the date. After singing with Fluke's band he calls a taxi to take him and Pisaeng home. He finds a thoroughly drunk Pisaeng endearing and allows Pisaeng to lean on him, but denies Pisaeng's request for a kiss because they're waiting for the taxi in public. The next morning he is surprised that he's whipped enough to do stuff like stare at Pisaeng's sleeping face, but it's indignant at the idea of doing ~something~ to Pisaeng while Pisaeng was drunk, and squirms when Pisaeng cuddles him. Kawi refuses Pisaeng's offers to buy him stuff, because he wants their relationship to be on more equal footing.
KAWI finds out everyone at school knows about him and Pisaeng, and feels guilty for starting to date Pisaeng without breaking off his talking stage with Pear. He goes to talk to her in person only to find that she's at Pisaeng's, and Pisaeng has already told her. He does not hold this against Pisaeng. He expresses concern that chasing his own happiness by being with Pisaeng might be harming other people, like in future-3. He explains to Pisaeng that he is still strongly averse to the idea of breaking up with Pisaeng regardless of the issues he'll have to face, and tears up when Pisaeng responds by saying that he believes there's nothing more right than the two of them being together.
KAWI's guilt around Pear is assuaged by Pear but he feels a little guilty for not telling Max. Kawi asks Max if it's possible to have a romantic relationship without having sex and is uneasy when Max scoffs and says that sex deepens a relationship and even helps you know yourself better. Kawi is worried when Pisaeng comes round asking spend the night, but suspicious when Pisaeng is jovial despite just having fought with his mother, as Kawi doesn't want to get between Pisaeng and Threedao. Kawi is flustered when Pisaeng responds to his concern with flirting. Kawi calls Threedao to tell her that he's going to do right by Pisaeng and is surprised that she agrees. He is a bit irritated at Pisaeng's deception but reasons that he must have still been feeling vulnerable.
PISAENG assumes Kawi is hugging him and sobbing because of Kawi's father's death. He attends Kawi's father's funeral, and is confused by the stuff in Kawi's journal. He doesn't believe that time travel is real but just decides to go with it since a bunch of weird stuff *has* happened in his life recently + Kawi knows information only Pisaeng knows. He is uneasy about the idea of everything revolving around his and Kawi's relationship, and reasons that Kawi would be better off without him getting in the middle of Kawi's relationship to Pear. He sees his mother off to the airport and has a confusing phone call with Kawi, deciding to just ask Kawi in person, and unknowingly refusing help from the MMU on the way to do so. Pisaeng is shocked when Kawi says he likes Pisaeng back, but says no to Kawi asking him out because he hasn't toasted Kawi yet. Kawi is not amused.
PISAENG goes on a date with Kawi to a sushi restaurant and is a smidge glad that Pear wasn't able to have dinner with Kawi. He talks to Kawi about Pear's mother, but reasons that Pear may have forgiven her mother now. He is upset when Kawi decides to play with Fluke's band on short notice rather than staying with him, but steps in to drink the alcohol offered to Kawi and other band members anyway. He steals a cheek kiss while he and Kawi wait for a taxi, saying that he's done enough hitting on Kawi and they should just date properly. The next morning he teases Kawi about staring and tries to kiss Kawi, but settles for cuddling.
PISAENG wears Kawi's uniform shirt to school and is touched by Kawi's insistence that they should be less give and take and more communicate. Afterwards he talks with Pear about her mother, and also tells her that he and Kawi are together after she presses him. Pisaeng is sigh-y after realising that when Kawi wanted to "set everything right, it didn't just mean dating him. Pisaeng asks if Kawi wants to keep dating him since there have already been so many problems in the 1st 30ish hours of their relationship. When Kawi is strongly against a breakup, Pisaeng tells Kawi that he'd like to have hope for the future not just of his relationship to Kawi, but for everyone else they know.
PISAENG clears things up with Pear. Later, he talks to his mother again, once again refusing the idea of moving abroad explicitly because he wants to stay with Kawi. He starts to tear up when his mother is dismissive, asking her why she just doesn't accept him. He tells her that the only thing she's protecting him from is happiness. Pisaeng is surprised when his mother is like "actually you're right" but he hugs her back. Pisaeng goes to Kawi's house and fills him in on the fight, but leaves out that it was mostly resolved. He is surprised that Kawi is so flustered by Pisaeng kissing his palm, but finds it endearing. Pisaeng is sheepish but unapologetic abut lying by omission, and confused when Kawi continues to rebuff any flirting.
PEAR wins the student rep position but seems unsatisfied. She invites Kawi to dinner, where she hopes that she and Kawi will begin dating. PONGSATHORN reminds her that her mother's art exhibition is at the time of her scheduled dinner, and she promised to go. At the exhibition, Pear is disgusted with her mother for thanking her the sacrifice Pear and Pear's father had to make so that Pear's mother could be an artist, since she wasn't given a choice in the matter. PONGSATHORN wonders if his resentment for Pear's mother for abandoning the family for her career had rubbed off too much on Pear, but Pear thinks she has enough of her own reasons to feel somehow about her mother.
PEAR doesn't go to school the day after her mother's exhibition. She asks Pisaeng if she was wrong to admonish her mother and Pisaeng days she had the right, but should probably have avoided the exhibition since she feels that way. When Pisaeng tells her she can be honest about her feelings she reveals that really she wanted to ask if the Not-propagated rumour about him and Kawi is true, and leaves upset when she finds out that it is. After cooling off for a short while she asks Not to meet her, and tells him to stop outing about Pisaeng and Kawi, and also to stop trying to ask her out.
PEAR tells Pongsathorn she's exhausted from having to be the bigger person all the time. He tells her that building onto anger only makes you feel better in the short term. He also tells her that building onto a fixed vision of a perfect future might also be a hindrance to her happiness. Pear tells Pisaeng and Kawi that they didn't do anything wrong or intentionally try to hurt her, and she's happy for them.
MAX speaks at a pride rally, and is surprised that Kawi attends since he assumed Kawi would be asking Pear out at that time. When Kawi asks if is worth fighting for change when fighting is so hard, Max replies that nothing comes easy, and fighting is better than giving up. He thanks Kawi for making hims realise he wanted to stay in Thailand and keep fighting. Max tells Kawi that it was obvious something between Kawi and Pisaeng but makes sure to guilt trip Kawi first. Max tells Kawi sincerely that he is happy Kawi opened himself up to experience love. He gives Kawi advice about being apprehensive about the idea of having sex with Pisaeng, essentially telling Kawi to just go for it.
NOT sees Pisaeng at the bar where Fluke's band is playing, and cocks an eyebrow upon learning that Pisaeng is here to support Kawi. When he is out for a smoke he sees Pisaeng kiss Kawi's cheek and immediately calls Pear to tell her that he was right about Kawi not being straight. At school he outs Kawi and Pisaeng to everyone, and is backed up by one of his & co mentioning Pisaeng being spotted in a gay bar. Not goes to meet Pear after she texts him, and is dismissive of Kwan not wanting him to date her friend even if Kwan x Not is meant to be no strings attached. Not is angry when Pear simply tells him to stop gossiping about her friends and shoots down the idea of dating him, and furious to find out she thinks of him as Kwan's sloppy seconds. He pushes Kwan over while confronting her and this is frowned upon by even his & co.
KWAN admonishes Not for outing Pisaeng and Kawi and even taking about them to Pear, especially since Not doesn't have proof. She asks Not if he could grow to like her romantically or at the very least not dump her for Pear, and cries when he says no to both. When Not confronts her over telling Pear about the friends with benefits situation she tells him that he's the only one that finds it cool to act like a prick all the time.
THREEDAO floats the idea of Pisaeng moving abroad after graduation where he will have the same civil rights as "normal" people since he has no more interest in being closeted. When he refuses she guesses that he doesn't want to leave Kawi, and tells Pisaeng not to throw his future away when there's plenty of fish in the sea. When Threedao and Pisaeng talk again she is still dismissive, but adamant that she does accept her son—she's just trying to protect him. When Pisaeng tearfully brushes this off as trying to get rid of him she concedes that she may have been too controlling, and she's going to support him in his happiness now. Threedao is surprised to get a call from Kawi on this subject, and tells Kawi he's gullible.
PAST
AFTER PISAENG ACTIVATES THE TIME MACHINE (AND NOTHING HAPPENS)
KAWI is nervous + apprehensive about the idea of having sex with Pisaeng and often shies away from Pisaeng's physical affection in general. When Pisaeng gets on top of him after sleeping over he is so flustered he pushes Pisaeng off and goes to buy breakfast, and insists they spend the day sunsets less intimate than his room. At the amusement park Kawi is only interested in eating and declines going on a roller coaster, being huffy during the dinosaur ride Pisaeng picks as an alternative and also declining to ride in Pisaeng's car with the roof down. However, after they leave the amusement and go to a fancy restaurant for dinner he assures Pisaeng that he did actually enjoy the date and Pisaeng's constant flirting.
KAWI and Pisaeng have sex for the first time. The next morning in bed, he holds Pisaeng's hand and smiles. Kawi moves in with Pisaeng after graduation. While packing he reflects on how at the time he totally misinterpreted his conversation with the MMU about how the time machine only gave him the opportunity to fix self inflicted problems, in terms of what he needed to fix. He is still confused about why Pisaeng likes him but this gift horse has great teeth.
PISAENG insists that he and Kawi use polite particles with each other because it's cute. He is confused that Kawi continually rebuffs his affection and is even flustered at the idea of seeing him naked. He is disappointed when Kawi suggests going to an amusement park instead of staying in after he attempts to kiss Kawi in bed, especially so when Kawi just wants to eat. He convinces Kawi to go on a much tamer ride than the roller coaster and sneaks a photo of Kawi, joking about making others jealous. When Kawi deletes the photo Pisaeng just takes more. At the restaurant Pisaeng asks Kawi how he can do better in the future, to which Kawi responds that he's already doing great.
PISAENG and Kawi have sex for the first time. When they wake up in bed the next morning he tentatively strokes Kawi's hand and smiles when Kawi holds his hand properly. Pisaeng moves in with Kawi after graduation and assures Kawi that his mother is cool with them living together, and also that even if the world is full of cute people, Kawi is the only one he wants.
PEAR goes to her mother's exhibition on its last day, and gives her mother a mother's day card she made for school as a child. Pear is still angry about her mother not being around, but has decided to start moving on + being happy for the mother. Pear's mother cries and thanks Pear. Pear reads from Khop Fa Khlip Thong, the collected poems by Uchanee as part of the exhibition, which is intercut with Pisaeng and Kawi's first time. Pear's mother looks extremely proud as the audience applauds Pear's reading.
NOT graduates, and is inexplicably not on hostile terms with the other named characters at graduation. He becomes a successful author.
MAX beams while looking at the large number of stickers (representing people showing support) on a wall at the pride rally for marriage equality, gender recognition, free pads + tampons, and legalising sex work.
KWAN deletes pictures she has with Not and decides to move on from him.
THREEDAO and PONGSATHORN talk about their children Pisaeng and Pear. Pongsathorn jokingly remarks that Threedao is usually too busy to see him. Threedao expresses admiration for Phongsathorn's unconditional support of his daughter and regret about hurting her son under the guise of protecting him. Pongsathorn says that everyone's doing their best, and that parents have to trust + grow alongside their children.
INTERIM
KAWI shares a blissful decade with Pisaeng, but cannot legally get married. Kawi still has the time machine with him, but is never tempted to use it. He works on soundtracks and still occasionally plays with Fluke's band, but declined any offers from record companies, wary of fame + the kind of job that cuts into his Pisaeng time after timeline 3. His life is simple and he is generally content. He dismisses the idea that openly being in a relationship with Pisaeng is holding him back from anything.
KAWI contracts the flu while taking care of a sick Pisaeng, and develops pneumonia so serious he has to be intubated.
PISAENG shares a blissful decade with Kawi, but cannot legally get married. He moves Kawi into the house (in Thailand) his mother gave him as a graduation gift. His job is unspecified, but he seems to be the breadwinner. He is very concerned when Kawi turns down an offer from a record label in favour of continuing a mundane job as a songwriter. He offers to keep his relationship with Kawi secret if that is what is holding Kawi back.
During a serious case of the flu he jokes about Kawi finding someone better if he dies, but then says seriously that he wants to grow old with Kawi. When Kawi is hospitalised the is not allowed to see Kawi or make medical decisions for him as they are not married and Kawi has no other family. When Kawi's condition worsens and he is intubated, Pisaeng activates the time machine in desperation.
PEAR is getting married to an unseen but presumably nice man names James and is good friends with Pisaeng, Kawi, Kwan, and Max. She comforts Pisaeng when Kawi is in the hospital and Pisaeng is blaming himself.
MAX seems to be doing alright. He remains good friends with Pear, Pisaeng, Kawi, and Kwan. He urges Pisaeng to remember to take care of himself when Kawi is in the hospital.
KWAN seems to be doing alright. She remains good friends with Pear, Pisaeng, Kawi, and Max.
THREEDAO is apparently accepting of Pisaeng and Kawi's relationship.
FUTURE
N/A
Timeline 5 (current)
PAST
AFTER PISAENG ACTIVATES THE TIME MACHINE AND IT WORKS
KAWI notices that Pisaeng is off after seeing Pisaeng pick up the time machine. Pisaeng being spacey, knowing that Kawi wanted to go to an amusement park + deja vu make him suspicious but it's confirmed when Pisaeng calling Kawi Khun (a more polite and formal term of address) and just tells him. Kawi is surprised but composed. He's unperturbed to find out that Pisaeng didn't believe him about the time travel. He approaches the amusement park date differently to timeline 4, going on several rides and even the largest rollercoaster, becoming nauseous afterwards.
KAWI, while resting, rejects the idea of wanting this day to last forever or breaking up to avoid getting pneumonia in the future, essentially telling Pisaeng that he'd rather die in the future having spent a decade with Pisaeng than live any number of years without him. When they drive home he tells Pisaeng not to close the car's sunroof, wanting to feel the breeze.
PISAENG is completely disoriented when the time machine actually works, especially because Kawi looked exactly the same a few days into their relationship as he did after most of a decade. He cracks and tells Kawi he's from the future as soon as they get to the adjustment park. Pisaeng despairs at not being about to figure out how to stop Kawi from getting sick in the future, and apologises for not taking enough care of Kawi. When Kawi tells him that it might just be out of their control, he commits to enjoying a date with this version of Kawi before he goes back to the future come what may.
PISAENG is anxious when Kawi is mildly ill after riding the roller coaster and tentatively suggests that they break up to avoid a future when Kawi gets deathly ill, feeling selfish when (prompted by Kawi) he reflects on the time he and interim-4 Kawi spent together and wouldn't change a thing, apart from Kawi being half dead in the hospital. He absentmindedly opens the car's sunroof on the drive home, motioning to close it after remembering that Kawi didn't like it in timeline 4, being surprised when Kawi instead tells him to leave it.
INTERIM
KAWI and PISAENG cherish each day together, knowing that they might have a hard limit on the time they have.
FUTURE
KAWI recovers from pneumonia knowledgeable about Pisaeng's sojourn in the past. He and Pisaeng attend Pear's wedding and he is happy for her and her husband but secretly thinks it's a little over the top. He reminisces about how he tried so hard to be the one staffing next to post on her wedding day but rejects the idea of changing anything about his life even if he could. He denies wanting a wedding/commitment ceremony between him and Pisaeng but spitballs with Pisaeng the kind of things such an event would entail anyway.
PISAENG tells Kawi not to worry about looking sickly at PEAR'S wedding because the important thing is that he's made it through and is happy when Kawi is like "we made it through" but mentioned that he's have fallen to despair without past-5 Kawi's advice + bravery after being told his probable date of death. He is surprised when Kawi mentions activating the time machine again just to see and being unconcerned when it didn't work. Pear, he mentioned getting married and smiles when Kawi is like "ew no" but starts planning it anyway.
PEAR, MAX and KWAN welcome Kawi home from the hospital. PEAR gets married to James and the wedding is beautiful and very large.
NOT is at PEAR'S wedding for some reason, and also hasn't written another book in a decade.
THEEDAO is presumably on good terms with Kawi and Pisaeng. Whether she achieved her goals of a political career is unknown.
EPILOGUE
KAWI AND PISAENG sit on the beach. PISAENG gifts Kawi a guitar pick, the same one interim-3 Pisaeng gave Kawi before disappearing and prompting Kawi to travel back to the past and fix their relationship, so seeing it is both a reminder of that horrible future and a reminder that it will never come to pass. Kawi and Pisaeng kiss, and Kawi asks Pisaeng if he'd travel back in time if the time machine still worked. Pisaeng would, but only to hit on Kawi all over again. And again and again.

All images from Tamaz-P's Itsuka Egao, Itsumo Egao (いつか笑顔、いつも笑顔)
In the song Itsuka Egao, Itsumo Egao/いつか笑顔、いつも笑顔/Smile Sometime, Smile Every Time by Tamaz-P, the video is a compilation of drawings borrowed from piapro.
On piapro, artists can choose to allow downloads for use in non-commercial works, so producers can use those images in videos. This was especially common in the early years of Vocaloid.
I wanted to see who drew what, but...
...as it turns out, this list isn't in order of appearance, and there are more images (around 33) than artists listed (17).
So instead of studying for my anatomy quiz at 1 am, I hunted down all of the original artists and image URLs! After a long journey through the Hatsune Miku atwiki, VocaDB, Wayback Machine, and piapro, I found every drawing except for 4.

笑顔とミク⑨ (Smiles and Miku 9) by shari
deleted image by わくらば (Wakuraba)
Special mention to shari, whose “Smiles and Miku” series didn’t end until 2009, well after this song was uploaded!
It’s also interesting to track the path of some of these images. Inago is the illustrator of the drawing for Can’t I Even Dream?, for instance (I always thought that image was commissioned specifically for the song; it wasn’t). Or Kouan’s rainbow drawing, which was inspired by a song uploaded to piapro, and then that song’s producer used the fanart as part of a video for Niconico! Or even Kobanzame’s drawing, which I saw in at least 2 other songs purely by chance after seeing it in this song (NO MORE CHAIN by Buriru and To the Sky by MUSIKADeLIK).
As for the ones who deleted their images: Minoru Seto is now a VTuber, and I think sznk_ is active on Twitter as sznk_art and Wakuraba is active as wkrb_r. I could be wrong, though.

Red Bulborb (Monster)
(Copyright Nintendo, Artist Unknown)
(I don't know why the Pikmin wiki's version of this art has a flourescent blue background, but I am not an image editor nor could I find better version of this art, so that's what we're using.
I'll be posting Pikmin homebrew for the next two weeks! My history with Pikmin is a funny one- I have been fascinated by its fanciful creatures since one of my classmates brought in the Prima guide to Pikmin 1 in middle school, but I didn't much play the games until the first two were rereleased on Switch this summer. I did rent the original back when that was a thing, and I own Pikmin 3 for the Wii U, but I got particular far in neither. Instead, I watched Chuggaaconroy's Let's Plays, in fact finding him through an attempt to watch, rather than play, Pikmin.
Now, though, I've finished Pikmin 1 twice and started- and paused- Pikmin 2. I adore the setting and its creatures more than ever, and this blog here is how I express that love. So here's bulborbs!)
Bulborbs are strange nocturnal omnivores, neither insect nor mammal, who dwell in forests. Most bulborb are about the size of a songbird, stalking the undergrowth for insects and roots to devour, but a few grow much bigger.
The giant bulborb is a species the size of a turkey, and is farmed in some places. Its rump and snout are both very meaty, with the rump in particular being a rich combination of fat and muscle that is described as having a sweet, flavor closest to pork. Rare and dangerous, however, is the maneater bulborb, an aberrantly huge creature named for its ability to devour travelers and hunters whole.
There are many varieties of bulborb. The orange bulborb is a more dangerous and particularly alert species that can be represented by giving it the Advanced simple template and an additional +2 to Wisdom. The whiptongue bulborb is known for its anteater-like tongue it uses to collect large masses of insects, and can be represented by replacing the bulborb's bite attack with a tongue attack that has grab. In the giant bulborb, this attack has a 10ft reach and deals 1d3 damage, and in the maneater bulborb, this attack has a 30ft reach and deals 1d6 damage.
Giant Red Bulborb can be taken as a familiar.

3.0 D&D to PF1 Conversion: Torturer Devil (Kocrachon)
This is a conversion of a rather famous creature that originated from Planescape. Since this is a rather low-ranking devil, I tried not to go overboard on the abilities, while attempting to give the Kocrachon its own flavour. I also got several pointers from a previous 3.5 conversion of the same creature, which appeared in the EN World Forums. Of course, you guys be the judges if my conversion is satisfying.
DEVIL, TORTURER (KOCRACHON)

This horror looks like an overgrown bluish-black beetle with a long proboscis for a mouth, but its face has a disturbingly human look to it, and its legs end in slim, dexterous claws.

Sadism (Ex) If a torturer devil inflicts 10 or more points of damage on a single creature in the span of a single round, either with a single attack or with multiple attacks, it gains a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls, saving throws and skill checks for the duration of the next round.
Kocrachons are also known as torturer devils for their specialization in inflicting prolonged pain on helpless victims. They are mostly tasked with extracting information through pain, and it is a job they thoroughly enjoy. In what spare time they have, they enjoy sharpening their skills on damned souls and other prisoners; ending up in the claws of the kocrachon is considered one of the worst possible fates, for these devils are merciless and go out of their way to deny their victims the sweet release of death. Torturer devils are fond of mental torture as well, and will gleefully manipulate and gaslight their charges in order to maximize their anguish.
Torturer devils are not particularly fond of combat, and will usually retreat if an opponent looks dangerous enough to fight them on even footing. If forced to battle, they will usually break up and confound the opposition with spells like cause fear or suggestion, and then strike from ambush, often with the cover of invisibility, and debilitate their victims with their painful claws and diseased bites. A kocrachon that inflicts enough suffering on a victim is bolstered by the act, and can briefly fight with enhanced vigor.
Kocrachons are mostly found in infernal citadels, working for more powerful devils; they are 5 feet tall on average, and weigh roughly 110 pounds.

Dear Mr. Jewell: To the artist, the working of the critical mind is one of life's mysteries. That is why, we suppose, the artist's complaint that he is misunderstood, especially by the critic, has become a noisy commonplace. It is therefore, an event when the worm turns and the critic of the TIMES quietly yet publicly confesses his 'befuddlement,' that he is 'non-plussed' before our pictures at the Federation Show. We salute this honest, we might say cordial reaction towards our 'obscure' paintings, for in other critical quarters we seem to have created a bedlam of hysteria. And we appreciate the gracious opportunity that is being offered us to present our views. We do not intend to defend our pictures. They make their own defense. We consider them clear statements. Your failure to dismiss or disparage them is prima facie evidence that they carry some communicative power. We refuse to defend them not because we cannot. It is an easy matter to explain to the befuddled that 'The Rape of Persephone' is a poetic expression of the essence of the myth; the representation of the concept of seed and its earth with all its brutal implications; the impact of elemental truth. Would you have us present this abstract concept with all its complicated feelings by means of a boy and girl lightly tripping? It is just as easy to explain 'The Syrian Bull' as a new interpretation of an archaic image, involving unprecedented distortions. Since art is timeless, the significant rendition of a symbol, no matter how archaic, has as full validity today as the archaic symbol had then. Or is the one 3,000 years old truer? But these easy program notes can help only the simple minded. No possible set of notes can explain our paintings. Their explanation must come out of a consummated experience between picture and onlooker. The appreciation of art is a true marriage of minds. And in art, as in marriage, lack of consummation is ground for annulment. The point at issue, it seems to us, is not an 'explanation' of the paintings but whether the intrinsic ideas carried within the frames of these pictures have significance. We feel that our pictures demonstrate our aesthetics beliefs, some of which we, therefore, list:
1. To us art is an adventure into an unknown world, which can be explored only by those willing to take the risks.
2. This world of the imagination is fancy-free and violently opposed in common sense.
3. It is our function as artists to make the spectator see the world our way—not his may.
4. We favor the simple expression of the complex thought. We are for the large shape because it has the impact of the unequieocal. We wish to reassert the picture plane. We are for flat forms because they destroy illusion and reveal truth.
5. It is a widely accepted notion among painters that it does not matter what one paints as long as it is well painted. This is the essence of academicism. There is no such thing as good painting about nothing. We assert that the subject is crucial and only that subject matter is valid which is tragic and timeless. That is why we profess spiritual kinship with primitive and archaic art.
Consequently if our work embodies these beliefs, it must insult anyone who is spiritually attuned to interior decoration; pictures for the home' pictures for over the mantel; pictures of the American scene; social pictures; purity in art: prize-winning potboilers; the National Academy: The Whitney Academy; the Corn Belt Academy, buckeyes; trite tripe; etc.
Sincerely yours, Adolph Gottlieb Marcus Rothko 130 Estate Street Brooklyn, Near York

Sun Becoming
Mystical poem finished 7-28-24. With all due honor to Maynard Keenan for the title.
1. Lust
For I am a lover,
Tossed and turned,
From one broken heart,
To the next
Grand ambitions,
Wed to grander passions,
Walking the world,
In seven-league boots
A thread of a life,
Spun wide and twisting,
But still found loving,
And loved in turn
2. Prince Of Wands
For I am a penitent,
In sackcloth and ashes,
Molten in my passions,
Legs bruised by prostrations
Abandoned by sunlight,
And nursed upon regret,
Because nothing else,
Will stay down
Wounded and wincing,
Grown thin from fasting,
Half-hidden by hair,
Aching always and small
3. Five of Wands
For I am a warrior,
My blazing sword,
Inscribed with sigils,
Of a better world
Searching the Playground,
Stalking the sides,
Of empty roads,
With thumb outstretched
I watch the sky,
Spinning and tumbling,
And stars show me,
The patterns of being
4. The Fool
For I am a dreamer,
Looking through stained glass,
At a world made,
Suddenly, madly, large
Singing and screeching,
Hawks and bats dancing,
In flight across a land,
Now stretched green and violet
I laugh and play,
At the feet of The Dutiful,
The Old Man who,
Taught me the Mysteries
5. The Devil
For I am a monster,
Bloody-mouthed and grinning,
Beneath eyes grown,
Colorless and stale
A violent breed,
From a savage country,
Far from any hope,
Of help or reason
A bullet for any gun,
That will offer a smile,
And moments,
In from the cold
6. The Lovers
For I am a wife,
A partner in joy,
And true yokefellow,
Freely bound
Loss and pain,
Almost more than,
I could ever stand,
With you beside me
The very best,
I can ever begin,
To aspire to be,
Is yours
7. The Hermit
For I am a Mistress,
Shoved into the Temple,
Across that ancient gulf,
Against my will
Forced to creep,
The Mushroom Forest,
Sword at ready,
For the dispersion ahead
Only to find friends,
In the maelstrom,
And sweet rest,
In the Desert
8. The Magus
For I am a stranger,
Wandering an alien land,
Hand held out,
To the whole world
Begging on the corner,
And making do,
Chanting holy songs,
For the listening Lion
Held tightly,
Behind the screen,
And dancing alone,
For the sake of shadows
9. The Empress
For I am a priestess,
Welding together,
Sacraments and love,
From twine and old toys
Lamp burnt low,
And incense in the air,
Water dripping down,
The lip of the chalice
Forgotten dreams,
Of the Nameless City,
Where I hear You always,
Whispering my name
10. The Hierophant
For I am an angel divided,
Being and Nothingness,
Bound joyfully,
At the soles of my feet
Seeing through,
A mirror darkly,
Eating the worm,
And saving the apple
Led to stretch out,
Across eternity,
To reach out carefully,
And hold my own hands

THE FRIDAY PIC is “Newspaper No. 3,” a 1961 work by the artist known as Chryssa, from a wonderful series where she took bits of discarded printing plates from the newspaper industry and stamped their images onto her paintings. The piece is from the Guggenheim’s collection, and is now in the long, long overdue show called “Chryssa & New York,” at the Dia Art Foundation space in Chelsea. I gave a lecture there last night on the important relationship between early-’60s works by Chryssa and by Warhol.
Here — in rather telegraphic form, I’m afraid — are some of the ideas I proposed:
1) That Chryssa, a rising art-star with a Guggenheim solo in the fall of ‘61, had a direct influence on Warhol, still completely unknown. And that this influence centered on an “alloverism” that took details direct from the world and spread them evenly across the surface of a picture.
2) That in postwar American culture, this alloverism was strongly associated with femininity and female creativity. Lucy Lippard, answering the question of whether there was such a thing as “woman’s art,” cited “a uniform density or over-all texture, often sensuously tactile and repetitive to the point of obsession” — as she would have seen in works by Chryssa but also by Yayoi Kusama, Ruth Asawa, Agnes Martin, Louise Nevelson and others. (Not of course because they were born with two X chromosomes, but because they were gendered female at that particular moment in Western culture.)
3) That Warhol could adopt such a feminine aesthetic as a counter-establishment, avant-gardist move that was also wrapped up in what his homosexual identity meant — to him and to straights — at that moment in cultural history.
4) That this “feminine” alloverism was closely linked to ideas about textiles and the decorative — concepts that threatened the manliness of what passed as “serious” fine art at the time. In a Life magazine roundtable that discussed a Jackson Pollock painting, doubters compared it to “enchanting printed silk,” to “a pleasant design for a necktie” and to “a panel for wallpaper” — all code for “it looks too feminine.” Which many AbEx paintings manifestly did, by the standards of the time — hence the exaggerated machismo adopted by Pollock and his defender Clement Greenberg, as a defensive move. “That such pictures should escape collapsing into decoration, mere wallpaper patterns, is one of the miracles of art in our age,” said Greenberg, with a good dose of special pleading. (And yet Greenberg chose to title one of his favorite Pollocks “Lavender Mist” — the name also of a pale purple flower very popular at the time.)
5) That, in 1961, Chryssa took up the challenge presented by an alloverism that was derided by the male art establishment for being tied to decorative “women’s work.” And she did that by daring to bring her feminine alloverism into collision with the all-male culture of the American newspaper.
Chryssa always talked about her first encounter with the “vulgarity” of Times Square — then still the home of the New York Times — and about how it led to her artistic awakening. The landmark series of newspaper paintings that came out of that encounter show Chryssa proudly planting her flag — a cloth allover covered in patterns — in the midst of that distinctly masculine vulgarity.

8 Maïmouna Patrizia Guerresi () As a photographer, sculptor, and installation artist, ‘Maïmouna’ Patrizia Guerresi reveals unique and authentic sensibilities in her narration of the beauty and subtleties of racial diversity and multiculturalism. Over an established career, she has developed her own symbolism, which combines cosmological and ancestral traditions belonging to various European, African, and Asian cultures. Her personal commitment to Baifall Sufism has led her to produce an aesthetic that is able to bridge time, space and civilisations, as well as figuration and abstraction.
The human body is seen as the nucleus and temple of the soul, a place that houses a delicate, higher awareness; the very conduit for encompassing natural and cosmic forces. More about mysticism than any singular religion, her work is visionary in that it restores those elusive qualities of sacredness and unity in our frequently dehumanising and fragmented contemporary visual world. Her classic iconographic style explores the universality of human experience and reclaims the often hidden nurturing powers of feminine energy. Presented as a kind of free flowing epic, the viewer is left to read the significance of her imagery and quietly meditate on its potential to personally engage with its audience. As if her figures were speaking directly to each one of us.
From her earliest experiments with the physicality and archetypal imprinting of the psyche, through to her latest, evermore metaphoric ‘inner constellations’, Maïmouna insists on a cross-cultural discourse and an expansion of the boundaries that normally dictate our individual attitudes. She invites us to see further and to look deeper – past skin colour, preconceptions, and ethnic landscapes – into the wider paradigm of inclusion. She leads us through apparently simple notions of dimensionality into the exquisite, mystical and fragile complexities of life from within. Rosa Maria Falvo, writer and curator, www.chobimela.org
Perspective on the relationship between women and society, with particular reference to those countries in which the role of women is most marginalized. For over twenty years Guerresi’s work has been about empowering women and bringing together individuals and cultures in an appreciation for a context of shared humanity, beyond borders – psychological, cultural, and political. She uses recurrent metaphors such as milk, light, the hijab, trees, and contrasting white on black to create awareness of the vital unifying qualities of the feminine archetype and its special healing potential. Guerresi’s art is uniquely authentic. Her work is inspired by personal experience and cultural contexts that reference universal myths, the sacred realm, and the female condition, all of which are seen as vital expressions of the human form: an essentially spiritual and mystic body. Through photographs and videos of silent, austere, veiled women in domestic scenes and individual poses, her work functions as both metaphor and provocation. Guerresi’s images are delicate narratives with fluid sequencing, as well as rational analyses: women dressed in white, enveloped in chadors, fixed within their own tradition and isolated from and by it in the contemporary world. Her Fatimah image suggests the woman as Mother- Earth supporting us in the original energy cycle of Space-Universe-Infinity. www.maimounaguerresi.com

I appreciate those of you mutuals who may have very hard stances on AI sticking with me while I've been rambling about my complicated feelings on the matter. I know it can be grating to deal with someone you know having opinions that you have intensely negative feelings about.
To provide some trust and clarity, my hard stances on the subject are these:
1) it's never ok to lie and pretend you made something by hand when you had AI generate the entirety of something. Obvious scammers can suck a dick. Anything I ever make you can have the confidence to know I made myself using the traditional methods. I wouldn't even enjoy it otherwise.
2) I have no love or trust for corporations. It's not okay that these companies are scraping data from people without their consent, particularly because of the power dynamics involved (example of what I mean: actual collages made by human artists from something like bits and pieces of magazines are okay, even if they aren't asking the creators of those images. Remixes and fanfiction are ok without asking original creators. AI - working as intended - might essentially create collages that are just as transformative, but it's built by rich corporations upon material taken non-consensually from millions of lower class unknown artists, and that interplay with our current issues of poverty and widespread worker exploitation is what makes it truly exploitative.)
3) Corporations should not be substituting paying their workers for AI. The strikes going on right now in general about worker exploitation have my full support. I would never take advantage of such a situation for my own benefit (scabbing).
4) no artist should ever be forced to use AI in a job where they never signed up for that kind of work in the first place.
5) there needs to be transparency and regulations put into place to ensure people can protect themselves, opt out, and so that people can have full choice and agency in regards to any interaction with AI.
6) we need to start having serious conversations about technological innovation and private vs. public ownership of certain technologies. Innovation being hoarded by the kinds of rich corporations and individuals who utilize worker exploitation as the backbone of their business practices will always embed exploitation into the very fabric of the innovations they fund. We need to have regulations in place to protect and allow the greatest amount of freedom for the working class.

[THE RAMPAGE Yoshino Hokuto × Intimissimi] Where do you want to take your special someone? What would you like to give them as a gift?
youtube
CHECK! There is a special coupon at the end of the video, so watch until the end.
Holiday Season with Hokuto Yoshino
Q1
[0:19-0:41]
What would you like to share with your significant other?
Hokuto:
Share… Music. As an artist, or a vocalist rather, i am privileged to be able to convey music to everyone. As a way of sharing my thoughts and feelings… music came to mind.
STAFF: What would you like to share with your family?
[0:42-0:56]
Hokuto:
I usually share pictures and such with my parents. With a reply like, “We’re in the middle of a shoot right now,” since we always keep in contact.
Q2
What clothes do you want to share with your significant other?
[0:57-1:15]
Hokuto:
Clothes? Umm… As winter is approaching, a zip-up parka(hoodie) would be nice. Makes my heart is race. *He’s imagining the situation of putting a parka around someone!
STAFF: You are Intimissimi's first male model!
[1:16-1:26]
Hokuto:
I appreciate it very much! Thank you! The best part is the fact that it can be worn by a man or woman. It's very comfortable too.
STAFF: It seems to be 100% silk.
[1:27-1:46]
Hokuto:
No wonder! There’s a snuggly feel to it. It covers the skin so well like a feeling of being absorbed. It’s a lovely sensation!
Q3
What‘s your usual nightwear?
[1:47-2:11]
Hokuto:
Usually.. unused rehearsal clothes. In the winter, I wear something fluffy. But now starting from today I'll be wearing this! Seriously though, the fact that women and men can wear it regardless of gender is great.
Q4
Do you have a night routine?
[2:12-2:58]
Hokuto:
Before bed, I take a bath and take vitamins. When I’m busy, it can be difficult to get adequate nutrition, so taking supplements before bed can be helpful. In order to take care of my body, I make sure to take a bath and take vitamins before bed. It was black earlier, but it turned completely white. Or rather, the image has changed again. There are times when clothes can be bothersome or bulky. This, however doesn't get in the way. It feels more like being buried, to be honest. It’s likely the quality of sleep will also improve.
STAFF: Of the two mentioned before, which do you prefer, “black” or “white”?
[2:59-3:15]
Hokuto:
umm.. I’ll buy either one! I can’t really choose. White is nice as well, you know.. It’s okay to adjust things according to your nightwear. Not just the bedroom, but the entire space. Including the sheets.
STAFF: Are there any preferences you have regarding your current bedroom?
[3:16-3:37]
Hokuto:
My room is regular right now. Although it’s regular, in terms of my personal preferences it would be the smell. Next to the bed are aroma candles (lamps that melt candles with the warmth of the light). It smells pretty good.
STAFF: What kind of scents?
[3:38-3:44]
Hokuto:
It's fabric softener. I recommend it!
Q5
What place would you like to take your significant other?
[3:50-4:33]
Hokuto:
(In deep thought)
I'll take them to my hometown. It’s a nice place, my hometown. I’m from Miyazaki. There’s a place called Kobayashi in Miyazaki, and although Kobayashi is in the countryside, it has a great atmosphere and good water. The fireflies flutter about in a frenzy, soaring like stars. Seeing that as a kid, was amazing. Even now, I vividly remember it. I want to show beautiful things like that. The stars are incredibly beautiful too. I want to see beautiful things together and feel a sense of beauty.
STAFF: Miyazaki Prefecture has delicious food, right?
[4:34-4:58]
Hokuto:
Right… such as local chicken dishes, chicken nanban, or Miyazaki beef. Miyazaki beef once ranked first in the nation. Recently, Gyozas have taken the top spot (by the amount purchased per household). I suppose it’s still a bit unknown. I want to take them to gourmet places like that.
STAFF: What Miyazaki dish do you want to eat the most?
[4:59-5:07]
Hokuto:
Chicken Nanban. Chicken Nanban is the best eaten locally, after all. It’s the tastiest!
STAFF: Is the flavor different?
[5:08-5:12]
Hokuto:
*whispers: “It’s different ~”
Q6
What do you have to share that you would like to give to your significant other?
[5:13-5:31]
Hokuto:
huhh ~ What might it be... share, is it? Plants! We’ll grow them together! We’ll grow house plants together. To watch the plants grow up is something I would like to do together.
STAFF: How does it fit you?
[5:32-6:09]
Hokuto:
It’s quite different from the silk-satin wear I wore a moment ago. The texture is thick. It feels a bit more firm. The floral pattern is very cute. The design is likely to be well received by women. I would like it if they wore something like this… Even as loungewear, if you wear this.. It’s fashionable. When running errands to the convenience store or the supermarket, it is still appropriate. Like a shirt, it’s cute with it open. It’s even cute when it’s closed. It can be arranged in various ways. I think it’s really nice!
Hokuto:
[6:14-6:23]
I’m getting sleepy.
The comfort of wearing it is too good.
Q7
Positive or Negative
[6:24-6:33]
Hokuto:
I’d say I'm a positive person!
STAFF: Are there things that you do to stay positive?
[6:34-7:19]
Hokuto:
Having an open mind, I suppose. I believe that when things happen a certain way.. or if things turn out differently.. you're like, “huh...why..? ” There is a tendency to become increasingly absorbed in negativity.
But by having an open mind, even if it’s “different” from what you expected, you can see things from another angle. I feel like you can approach things with a positive outlook. It’s not just about what I want. I properly consider the opinions of the people around me, while acknowledging them and maintaining a broad mindset. Maybe I am getting used to being positive?
Q8
What Christmas-related memories do you have?
[7:20-8:07]
Hokuto:
On Christmas eve, we had a live in Niigata. At that time, the snow piled up like crazy It was magical. Christmas is associated with a unique atmosphere. It was such an amazing feeling and the live felt like a Christmas version. I am grateful for the opportunity to do it. The live was very memorable. The streets of Niigata Is something that can not be experienced in the cities. It was an unbelievable scene as if I was in another world. I had a very fulfilling Christmas.
STAFF: Can you describe the comfort level of high-neck tops?
[8:08-8:21]
Hokuto:
This garment appears to have a small amount of cashmere. It’s perfectly fitted and feels so good! How nice! It can be worn casually… I’ll definitely wear this.
