Who's your favourite character to draw and what features do you like to bring out the most in their design? :] - Mutie

omgomgomg you've activated my trap card with this one. very obviously rusty

in terms of the actual stage costume i love bringing out the silhouette of the big sleeves and the wide shoulders but also the like, long lanky look that was mostly present in very early versions of the bway costume (as well as the shinier black+red color scheme).

also in recent months i've started leaning into the slightly broader, slightly "stronger" look for the character cuz I really do like making him convincingly look like he used to pull passenger trains (like he did in my hc before being demoted due to the rust affecting his performance) and still carries the strength required to do so.

i also love over-exaggerating his red contour which results in that "kitty nose" that I draw him with :3c and ofc making his mullet SUPER fluffy

in terms of shit i've come up on my own that i love making stand out when I draw him, i love adding extra "patchwork" to his plating to show his age and how he's fallen into disrepair!! and I love it when I'm able to show visible damage, especially the long diagonal scar below his firebox (that is plot-relevant in my headcannon ;))

Danny is just a kid ya know? Like he is just a little guy. A baby really. 14? Tiny child! Look at him, he needs to be protected. Someone has to help this poor little dude. I mean he forgets to use his own powers to avoid attacks all the time.

Anyway cut to Batfam not knowing all of Dannys power set cause the lil dingus keeps forgetting he can do that stuff in the heat of battle.

Danny uses his invisibility all the time… to avoid being followed. But in a fight? Oopsies hes too busy thinking of funny one liners to realise he could do that.

Intangibility? Give the guy a break. I mean who calls themselves condiment king. Even he was stunned.

He so rarely actually uses his biggest advantage powers that the League doubt he actually has them. He, like any naive child, trusts them and reported fully on his power set. Instead of just asking him to demonstrate his powers they instead start watching him and try to find evidence of his powers.

At least they know duplication was true since they watched him make a copy of himself to go to the bathroom and not miss any of his fav tv show.

sometimes it feels like some people don't even like eddie as his own character (same often goes for buck for that matter), they only exist for each other and with each other, and ppl bend over backwards, twisting all the words said in canon, trying to make all their individual storylines about each other. it's insane lol
