That probably should’ve been season 1

While the extermination war should’ve been season 2 😭

Like the build up to Vaggie’s backstory, to Carmilla’s involvement, to the trial, etc., all could’ve been slowly built up around season 1 before the payoff happened in season 2

Yeah ik they weren’t sure if they were getting another season

But the Vees are interesting enough themselves to have a full season, even just 8 episodes

Think starting and stopping with the Vees and life in hell would’ve given us time with the actual hotel activities too

Everything felt like it was trying to speed towards the big finale showdown

I’m pretty sure people were here for the hotel and life in hell stuff in the first place, and then the political stuff with heaven second

if you can tell someone is a mean person stay away from them have little to no contact with this person its will save you all the energy and time because people like this can be extremely draining trust ik that!

ik this is an oc blog and this is sooo off topic but I Hate the new dashboard layout with a burning passion and have no idea how to articulate that politely in a feedback forum. I want to do my part but I have no idea what to say do you have any suggestions

my suggestion is to a) state what you specifically don't like, b) why you don't like it, and, if applicable, tell them c) why it was better before the update.

for example, a) blogs are hidden in the navigation menu behind an account button that, when clicked, increases the length of the navigation menu 2-3x to show the blogs, and this only gets longer with an open blog tab (the one that displays a blog's stats et al). b) this makes navigating more difficult, when the intention of the update was supposedly meant to make doing so easier. c) the drop down menu that contained the blogs prior to the update was easy to find and use — the update including blogs alongside every other navigation menu is quite the opposite.

i didn't worry too much about the tone of my feedback, as i found that simply pointing out what i didn't like and explaining why i didn't like it was fairly objective. that being said, i did end my feedback with a note explicitly stating that i hated the update. so be honest, clear, and keep in mind that you can be negative about the update without being vitriolic.

i also am finding that creating and understanding how high fantasy universes work is...difficult? lmao? also because i did crazy stuff with mutations and science and politics in my tfbw ncuniverse, that's also complicated and out of my wheelhouse...tldr: i have big ideas, but i'm not very good at backing them in fact or doing analytical stuff.

but...iiiiii need to, lmao. mental illness, but if i make a universe it has to be fully realized, it has to all make as much sense as possible, echo the canon, enhance it, feel real and be fluid...so if i'm not around too much it's because i'm trying to bolster myself with my sp knowledge ( ik, i'm a fake fan ) and watch/read/research high fantasy concepts and superhero/scientific fiction/dystopian stuff...so if anyone has any recommendations for me to watch or learn from in those realms, i'd appreciate it. again, this is intense...but i care a lot about my craft.

and specifically crafting something worthy of all of you, that makes sense, lives and breathes, reflects the show we love & is interesting.

idk...this is so long. all this to say...i'm really sorry? i haven't been a very solid creator lately, but i'm a little unstable rn. but i am working on it and i hope to be back on the horse by tonight and share my notes at least and show you guys how my brain is working.
