everyone's joking about a lesbian love triangle being the focus of rhaenyra/alicent/mysaria's stories in hotd s3 but that will literally be what happens when mysaria acts to uphold and support the image of rhaenyra as queen (or rhaenyra's duty) and alicent is kept prisoner (or a hidden but unavoidable reminder of rhaenyra's love). and so the love triangle will serve to represent rhaenyra's internal conflict between love and duty

Once again about Melinoë... The reason why she has her own flaws and still needs reconsidering some certain things (besides she's a well-written character) is Melinoë will have her own development! Not only the main plot will be revealed but also the protagonist! She's not Zagreus who was more like 'our guid of the story' and didn't change a lot, but just changed his attitude towards others on the understanding of their motives and circumstances. He perceived this story together with the player. His reactions often coincide with ours. Melinoë, in turn, is an integral part of the plot. If we compare these two wonderful games with a puzzle, then Zagreus is who solves the puzzle together with the player. While Melinoë is an important piece of this puzzle.

Even funnier if Helaena is super good at hiding her sneaky link so the court doesn’t have a man they can accuse, but they know something is up because it’s every. Single. Baby. Daemon is laughing his ass off at dragonstone

The fact that the whole Dance is centered around a 30-year-old Rhaenyra and a 50-year-old Daemon having beef with some 14-20-year-old nepo babies—including an alcoholic with mommy issues, an autistic pixie girl, an anime villain, and a twink—will never be not funny to me.

I mean, no one in Team Green gave a single fuck about any of Rhaenyra or Daemon's children. They were either casualties in the war or a minor annoyance for Alicent, Criston, and Otto. The Dragon Seeds were the ones who actually put up a good fight. Fuck, even Bloody Ben who was 11 in F&B, did so much more!
