synopsis. where jimin stalks her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend after a certain incident happened and couldn’t help but grow hatred over her. coincidentally, her and jimin happen to be global ambassadors of the same famous luxury brand and have to work together for a commercial. at first, jimin despised the girl with all her flesh and bones but soon understands why her boyfriend fell for the young actress in the first place… because she was starting to fall for the young actress as well.

the following week came sooner than jimin had expected.

and by now, she was convinced she knew everything single thing about the actress.

it was supposed to be out of curiosity but the more she watched her interviews, her dramas and films, her photos, she always somehow craved more and dug herself into a deeper hole than she expected.

y/n’s height, weight, each of her body measurements; karina knew every bit of it. her birthday, her birth year, the hospital and even the floor she was born at. her hometown, what her favorite food were and what foods she hated. every. single. thing.

the way y/n walked, talked-

“are you okay?”

the drive towards the designated place continues and they safely made it there. the moment jimin stepped out of the car, she bowed and greeted each staff she encounters in a respectful manner. she was then lead to to the dressing room to get her makeup and outfits done, but to her surprise, the actress wasn’t there.

“is she late?” jimin snickers in a mocking manner though she disguised it well to the makeup artist. she couldn’t believe one of the most prominent and famous ambassador was late to such an important project.

“i believe ms. y/n is currently chatting to the director. she got here extra early, you see.” the makeup artist responds to her with a smile.

jimin’s little smirk was immediately tugged of the moment the makeup artist responded. she clenched her fists and mutters out, “of course she did.”

it took quite awhile for the makeup artist and the stylist to get jimin done, but once she was, she was immediately lead towards location where they will be shooting at.

as she makes her way, she hears laughing and chatter. she looks towards where it was coming from and there she saw no one but y/n herself.

her face wasn’t visible since she was turning back from jimin, but the idol knew it was her just based off her tall height and the way she stood.

she was speaking to the director in a calm and playful manner as if they were already friends though jimin knew they weren’t since y/n has never worked with him before.

the director looks away from y/n for a moment and spots jimin and clap his hand excitedly.

“ah! there you are!”

she could only see the director from her peripheral vision, because her eyes were focused at y/n the entire time.

y/n’s perks up at the sound of the idol’s name and turns around and faces jimin for the very first time.

jimin’s heart skips a beat.

she’d rather die than say it out loud, but y/n was- is so beautiful then, just standing there as the lighting hits y/n’s, showing jimin her stupidly pretty features.

how is she real? jimin ask herself. she found it hard to believe that the actress was made out of flesh and bones like everyone was. y/n was just so painfully lovely to look at. free from any flaws or blemish.

y/n smiles at her before walking towards the idol.

“have you two met each other?” the director asks as y/n stands just in the middle between the two.

y/n shakes her silently, her arms behind her back.

“we haven’t met, but we have seen each other in shows.” she answers looking at the director before traveling her eyes towards jimin. the idol widens her eyes and looks away from y/n’s gaze, rubbing her arm awkwardly.

“hm…” the director hums as he sees jimin’s behavior, obviously shy and embarrassed around y/n’s presence. “i’ll give guys half an hour to break the ice. use that time wisely.”

“wait what-“ jimin looks at the director who walks away, in disbelief.

“you heard him.” y/n interrupts. jimin looks away from the director and met with y/n’s pretty eyes. “we should get to know each other. director’s orders.”

jimin opens her mouth to say something but instead just stood there awkwardly for a few seconds since she couldn’t let the words out.

“are you nervous?” y/n asks her with a chuckle and pats jimin’s shoulder in an attempt to comfort her. “how on earth can a pretty girl like you get nervous?”

jimin’s face flushes red… and she wasn’t sure if it was out of embarrassment or the way she was genuinely flattered by y/n calling her pretty.

the idol clears her throat and shakes her in denial. “i’m not nervous! it’s just… this is my first time working with someone who aren’t my members.”

“it’s an honor then.” y/n smiles at her. dimples. “to be the first person to work with you.”

“and it’s a good thing i did. so i can help you if you’re having trouble.” y/n assures her with a kind smile. “so don’t be shy to talk to me if you’re having trouble.”

“i can manage.” jimin responds immediately and widens her eyes once she realizes her rude tone and response and mutters out an apology. “i didn’t mean it that way! i swear!”

y/n furrowed her brows in confusion and tilted her head. a small snicker falling from her lips.

“you’re different from what i expected you to be.”

jimin raises a brow at her statement and questions her back, “what do you mean?”

“I thought you’d be someone easy-going and confident in themself. but here you are, apologizing for absolutely nothing.” y/n answers her with a chuckle.

jimin blinks. then soon a smile tugs at her lips.

“you’re different from what i had in mind too.”

“really?” y/n spoke in an intrigued tone. “and what did you expect me to be?”

“someone scary.”

“me?” y/n points at herself in disbelief. “scary?”

“you’re so pretty, it’s intimidating.” jimin responds to which y/n smiles at. “I didn’t think you’d be someone easy to talk to… but here you are.”

“well, karina.” y/n offers the idol her hand. “it seems like we started on the wrong foot and gave wrong impressions of ourselves. how about we take it to the first step?”

“pardon?”

“my name is jimin.” the idol responds to the actress.

time flew by in an instant as the two ambassadors began to chat about whatever. whether it was some hot gossip from either the kpop and acting industry, how they revealed cherished memories to each other, how they asked and answered each other’s questions, it felt like only ten minutes came by until the director came back with a satisfied expression on his face.

“good, you two broke the ice it seems.”

the two looked at each other and giggled.

“you could definitely say that.”

the director looks at the camera crew before demanding out, “get into positions!”

“that’s our cue.” the actress taps on the idol’s arm as she makes her way through. jimin nods her head and follows y/n.

the rest of the day was spent in filming. and though jimin was nervous and reluctant at first, it all changed thanks to y/n. through jimin’s talent and y/n’s experience, they wrapped up the first day of filming successfully.

Izuku definitely steals the blanket while Katsuki hogs the bed.

Katsuki probably worked in a barber shop (because he was def the type to be like “not my money but my parents’ money”, so he made some of his own) OR learned how to do a bit of hair from Best Jeanist— Izuku’s hair grows really fast, so Katsuki will always be the one to trim it and make up an excuse like “You seriously gonna pay that much money for a fucking trim?”

Their typical dates isn’t everyone’s ‘typical dates’— they totally prefer extreme sports or like physical activities as dates.

Izuku sleeps late but wakes up early and can survive with only 3-4hrs of sleep. Katsuki sleeps early but doesn’t wake up as early because he needs exactly 8hrs to even 10hrs of sleep.

Izuku can’t style himself FOR SHIT. So Katsuki’s always picking clothes out for him.

They can both cook and either take turns cooking for each other or cook together. Katsuki would make Izuku cut the vegetables while he seasons the meat.

Izuku is amazing at baking and Katsuki is lowkey a sweet tooth.

Katsuki has like amplified and enhanced taste buds (LITERALLY CANON IM PRE SURE) and can literally taste when there’s something missing. Izuku’s cooking can sometimes come out bland but he always makes sure Katsuki is taste testing.

Katsuki’s high spice tolerance is slowly rubbing off on Izuku to the point that he’s the only one that can keep up with Katsuki. He even catches himself lowkey craving something spicy (honestly so real cuz like me too).

Katsuki is a neat freak which means his quite minimalistic but the his decor is exquisite. Izuku is a chaotic neat freak which means his got so many stuff (AM merch…) but they’re all properly organised and cleaned.

LITERALLY KATSUKI’S PARENTS DYNAMIC.

They can’t flirt for shit— yes I’m all for Izuku’s sassiness but I just know he can’t with Katsuki. And vice versa. So their flirting consists of eye contacts and awkward laughs/smiles. (“OMG HE MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME FOR 5 SECONDS. DOES THAT MEAN HE’S ASKING ME OUT?!”— Izuku, probably) (“He smiled at me. Fuck, what do I do?!”— Katsuki, probably)

Izuku’s a freak, I just know. Not like freak~, as in FREEAAK. He def read some Y/N x reader fanfics…and Katsuki lowkey indulged in some ship fanfics too. Izuku definitely wrote some and Katsuki may or may not have read them without knowing (I READ A FIC ABOUT THIS BEFORE).

Katsuki has a 10 step skincare routine (despite having amazing skin genes) whereas Izuku just splashes his face with cold water and calls it a day.

Spa night in Katsuki’s room surely (the girls definitely included obviously).

Katsuki is so act of service and gifts and Izuku is so words of affirmation and physical touch. Both are quality time.

It is pretty hilarious that this is what you get for spending the cash, but I'd like to point out that they needlessly bundled this with 300DP which makes up the majority of the cost (dw this is also horrifying to me as a whale lol). This is inherently justifiable to people who already spend money on DP but if you're selling a chase item like this by tacking it onto your silly game currency then people who fall outside the purview will be Hella disappointed. You can't even pay me to disappoint people so imagine that they did this on purpose lol OKAY, THAT SAID. I can see that this is what a lot of people have been wanting. It is very romantic (take my opinion with a grain of salt though cuz im not the demographic for this as an ace and a shipper and who doesn't really enjoy certain heteronormative elements lol) and your choices have some weight albeit limited by the metaphysical medium of this game. My rating would be higher if they sold this by itself for $5-$10 dollars. OR. MADE IT UNLOCKABLE... BY PLAYING THE GAME??

glassheart canon: incredibly unlikely, maybe 1/10? 1.5? but i would be ECSTATIC

some random villain being Red's dad: 5/10 wouldn't be shocked, but would be deeply saddened bc that girl has INCREDIBLE fatherless energy plus it would almost certainly introduce additional major plotholes.

red and chloe have a fight halfway through the movie that's like CRAZY emotional (preferably with a song where they're both really sad): 7.6/10 they need to create additional conflict so i think it could fs happen. i would LOVE this bc the edits would go crazy

chloe has a male love interest: 3/10 i just can't see it (im definetly biased) but ALSO she was originally going to be gay so maybe they'll keep it?

chloe has a non-red female love interest: 6.8/10 i feel like disney might do this to appease the glassheart shippers but it would NOT work. i would have mixed feelings because i LOVE gay people but i love glassheart also

red dates some random guy who is her "one true love" but they have no chemistry: 6.4/10 BUT if the last one happens the chances go up exponentially bc disney can't have a gay mc without a straight mc

there's a love triangle where red and chloe like the same guy: 3.7/10 unlikely, slightly un-disney, but it would be HILARIOUS probably. i would enjoy watching it and root for them to pull a korrasami.

chad is mentioned but not in it again: 7/10 i would be very unsurprised. it would be funny. i don't know.

wilding innaccurate fencing scene: 6.7/10 yeah okay if there is a scene it will be bad but i don't mind watching it. have some fun.

more time travel that introduces more severe plot holes: 10/10 it's going to happen!!

I saw a post by another user getting into the already prevalent shipping discourse about Crystal and Charles and how she’s “getting in the way” of paynland. Please read their post, they talk about how it’s a load of bullshit.

I want to talk about why Crystal and Charles work, the potential longevity of their relationship and how it doesn’t affect the paynland ship anyway. (And this is coming from a paynland shipper and someone who wanted Crystal to be crushing on Niko lol).

First of all, when I watched the show within 10 minutes (like most people did) I very much assumed that Charles and Edwin were gay for each other. I’d hoped in my heart it was going to be a potential plot line because it was so obvious the boys were in love with each other. Their already established dynamic made it easy to see that.

Then Crystal was introduced and shifted their partnership dynamic. She challenged Edwin in a way Charles never did, ultimately being one of the catalysts to his self discovery the led to paynland actually being a possibility (everyone say thank you Crystal). Edwin didn’t hate Crystal because she was stealing Charles away from him. There’s no doubt in his mind that even if Charles and Crystal were to stay together that Charles wouldn’t still love him and prioritize their relationship, and Charles reassures him of this constantly.

What Edwin is bothered by is having to deal with an inexperienced human, who has no idea why they do what they do, getting in the way of them solving cases that matter to them. Which is figured out pretty quickly when she proves herself to be an asset to the agency and they enter into a sibling like dynamic with wonderful banter I love to see.

What I enjoyed most about Crystal and Charles (if I’m completely honest) is their very out in the open flirting and the way she rejected his advances multiple times but he persisted anyway. Charles gives off a “will go for anything that breaths in his direction” vibes especially when he defends Crystal by saying it’s fun to have someone their own age around.

Also it’s so refreshing to see a black girl being paired with someone who isn’t white (I’m black lol). The bwwm ship dynamic is so overdone in media. In fact the woc x white man dynamic is so prevalent in media today that I just assumed they wouldn’t actually get together. I thought the show runners were just dangling forbidden fruit in my face lol. They do work as a couple because they give off mean bisexual gf with her golden retriever bf to me.

I’m just gonna say it as well because it’s worth thinking about before this fandom gets too crowded and opinionated, but why do you see a woc (especially a blk woman) being in a relationship with one of the mmc and immediately see them as ruining your favorite ship or as causing queer erasure? If we all watched the same show you’d know that Crystal didn’t get in the way of anything. And why don’t you feel that way about Monty of the Cat Kings pursuing Edwin?

Im not gonna dissect paynland as a ship because im so bad at understanding the nuances of male relationships lol as a bi woman. I can talk at lengths about the potential for Niko and Crystal if yous want me to though.

harwin should’ve known better to even entertain the notion that he could have a romantic relationship with rhaenyra!

and instead he allowed it…. and jace was born

and for that i can be partly okay with it since maybe they did somehow quickly fall into genuine love and want a kid, hoping it would have valyrian features…..

but risking it up all the way to THREE times is acc diabolical

and like when it comes to daemyra stans just shifting harwin onto laena….

it does kinda seem like a sweet ship but also a way to just sidestep laena out of the way when she, especially book-wise, is SO intergral to daemyra and is so viscerally ignored by both the show and fandom!!

laena deserves better than this! id take daemyra/laena anyday over laewin and im saying this as somebody who isnt a daemyra shipper 😭😭

also like harwin contributed like 10 bajillion grey hairs to poor lyonel with all this so i dont feel sympathy for him 💀

lilia is definitely silver's dad, it's possible he even knew silver's bio parents? im not fully certain on silver's lore yet, so im not sure if this will fit into it. especially since silver is not supposed to know anything about his past it doesnt really make sense. silver did grow up in the castle tho, so pretty much everyone had a hand in raising him but lilia was official parent. malleus also was a big part of his life.

he is still the oldest character, having existed when humans were still alive. not sure yet if he was human at one point, or if he has always been a vampire. im leaning more towards the latter. he will probably be one of those characters whose past we only learn certain pieces of, but there will always be unanswered questions bc he's meant to be a mystery.

doesnt have most of marcelines shape-shifting abilities bc he's not half demon but he can turn into a small bat. obviously can't go out in the sun which is why he lives in the castle basement, the kingdom has underground tunnels he can use that go all over Ooo.

likes to scope out old abandoned tech stores to see if he can find any pre-war video games

big mallekei shipper. it's unclear if it's bc he actually wants them to be together or if he just wants to see malleus dating. however he is one of the only ppl who knows the true details of cater and treys breakup.

i kind of want to give a him a pet demon cat.

hiii I'm new here and I just cannot believe these guys?? Are these the ones whose relationship was such a "mystery" what haha they literally foreplay on live. LOL okay like. yes people have always known they’re together but there were many years where d&p tried to downplay their relationship or at times even outright went against ppl shipping them. I'm assuming you're talking about the livestream they did while on tour. so that was 2018. While this was around the time that d&p started to be more open with how they interacted with each other, keep in mind this was still a year before either of them even came out (though dan started being more open w/ his sexuality around 2016). Before that, it was like Platonic Bros over in danandphil land. In 2012/2013 dan would actively fight with shippers and tell everyone they were idiots for thinking him and phil were together 😭 but it was more than that, they also downplayed a lot of aspects of their relationship. phil went so far as to make up a lie that they met through a mutual friend, they would talk about needing gfs/why they didn’t have them. as far as im aware the first active denial of their relationship was in 2011

to give you more of a sense of what it was like: in 2015, on Oct 19th they were doing a liveshow and acknowledged that it was their “friendiversary” which was like groundbreaking (despite the fact that they were calling each other friends) bc I don’t think they’d ever acknowledged Oct 19th before. When dan made the shipping joke in his diss track everyone lost their minds because, again, before that they either didn’t acknowledge shipping or actively went against it

like. I was in the phandom 2014-2017 and I left for a while. what convinced me to come back? d&p reacting to all the pinofs and phil making “they’re touching” jokes 😭 like honestly. bc when I was first in the phandom, d&p reacting to all the pinofs wasn’t something they really seemed keen to do (see them reacting to pinof 1 in pinof 10 and gtpwtw). but also, poking fun at both shippers and themselves by mocking how ppl used to freak out over them touching isn’t something they would’ve done. phil making that joke is what made me go “oh shit it’s different now.” different bc d&p now acknowledge shipping in a teasing/friendly way (rather than an antagonistic way), and different bc the phandom is also able to look back and go “yeah we were kinda unhinged in 2015” yk?

tldr: them being together was never a mystery but yes, as someone who has been in the phandom a long time, it is still shocking sometimes to see them openly flirting
