Can we just talk about how Lily Evans really was that girl?

She was brilliant, the head girl, kind to and saw the good in literally everyone (aside from the people who wanted her dead), and brave enough to stand up for what was right even when it cost her everything. Her friends died, sister pretty much disowned her, she went to Hogwarts at a time where increasing numbers of people wanted her dead, she never got the chance to really live.

She joined a resistance group at age 17, and faced and defied Voldemort three times before she was even 21. She chose love over power, compassion over hatred, and left behind a legacy that shaped the entire wizarding world. Without her, there’s no Harry, no resistance, no hope. She was the catalyst for the series and I'll die on this hill.
