A/N: had the thought that Harvey would know just how to take care of you, and wanted to explore that idea (and still deep in my Harvey-is-a-dirty-talker era)
“You want to know what I was really thinking about?” Harvey rasps, the tips of his fingers skating against your waist, slipping down to tease against the elastic band.
“I was thinking-,” A finger slips beneath the band, testing the elastic. Inching it away from your skin, but not making to remove them, “A girl like you should be taken care of.”
His voice drops, “And that I wanted to be the one to do it.”
(Or - Harvey overhears about your past lackluster experiences, and can’t help wanting to lend a hand)

There’s the clack of pool balls colliding in your corner of the Stardrop Saloon. The jaunty piano music muted, your fingers wrapping around a sweat-dewed glass.
A late-night Friday evening, the conversation already turning debauched as your off-handed remark of feeling frustrated was quickly misinterpreted and took another turn. Spiraling away from you, with their overlapping ideas.
Your nose crinkling with a suggestion to use the community board, one that has them bent-over with laughter - you could only imagine the shock at seeing such a message.
Help Wanted: Farmer looking to get ploughed. Used to getting a little dirty. If interested, please call…
“Could use an app. Been a while, but I used to do that.” Shane’s wiggles his phone at you, keying in the website for FerngillFlings. Flashing the front page at you, all while you try to ignore the clench of jealousy that flares to life in your stomach.
Sam leans over you, squinting at the screen, “You can’t tell me that works. Your matches come all the way out here?”
“Sure do.” Shane’s shoulder lifts in a shrug, from where his arm rests on the couch behind you. “Haven’t heard any complaints.”
The double-innuendo isn’t missed, your tongue poking into your cheek as your head shakes in exasperation.
“Haven’t heard, or haven’t listened?” Abigail shoots back with a smirk, and he rolls his eyes at her in response.
“Any matches from here?” You can’t help but ask, glancing sideways at him in curiosity.
He slumps a little further in his seat, knee knocking against yours, “Wouldn’t you like to know, farm girl?”
Thick fingers curl around the can before it lifts it to his lips, hiding his own smirk as you stiffen beside him.
Shane infuriated you. Always teasing, never answering a question directly. Deflecting a sly comment with a dry one of his own, until you weren’t sure where you stood with him.
You’d given up a while ago.
Your heart now quite taken with another.
“I think we’d all like to know.” Abigail chimes in, and you send a grin her way.
“I thought we were still talking about Miss Grange Queen?”
Your look turns apologetic - you know Pierre has been prepping all week as well - but she brushes it off, “I don’t care. Honestly, I hope you win this year. But he is right…”
A chipped polished nail taps her lip, before she fixes you with a look of concern, “When was the last time you got laid?”
The gulping swallow of your drink goes down wrong, making you splutter. A solid hand thumps you on the back, as your palm swipes across your mouth.
“What?” You manage, through watery eyes.
“Okay, we definitely gotta know.” The hand still rests against you, pinned against the plush cushion of the couch. Fingers tapping expectantly between your shoulders.
Yoba almighty.
You know they won’t back down. Even Sam lingers, eyebrows raised as his hip rests against the edge of the pool table.
“It’s been… a while.” You hedge, glancing around the room before you can answer. Voice lowering - not worried about the bar, it’s too far away.
More concerned about the booth that sits just across the room. Occupied when you arrived - your gaze flicking to Elliot often as he had sat alone, waiting.
Knowing who would be coming - a little flip in your stomach with Harvey arrived late, red-cheeked from the run, the novel pinched between his fingers.
You thought it was cute. Their little weekly book club. On another night you would have hoped to eavesdrop - figure out what the choice was for this month.
“You talking weeks? Months?” Sam asks, ignoring the glare from Sebastian, the hip check that follows - indicating his turn.
“Pre-farm,” Your head shakes, “Two years, maybe?”
“Years?” Abigail screeches, as your eyes widen - a hand coming to press unconsciously against a burning cheek.
Unable to help the sidelong look at the table across the way. The heat in your cheek rising to your ears when your eyes meet hazel ones, before you’re dropping your gaze.
“It’s not worth it,” You try to rein them in, all but pleading, “It’s not like it’s all that satisfying either, you know?”
“You mean you don’t…?” Abigail suggests - looking at you dubiously, and even Sebastian is turning to give you a pitying look.
“I mean… sometimes, I guess?” Your shoulder lifts, and then drops, “It’s not a big deal.”
You could get there yourself just fine. Have certainly managed, with your current dry spell. Before, you sometimes would afterwards - alone - easing the unresolved pleasure that licks in your belly.
But you’re sure it wasn’t the same as having someone there with you. Having their focus so solely on you.
It’s not something you’re about to explain. This has gotten too deep. You’re used to the tales of Shane’s old one night stands. The occasional complexities that come from Sam and Abigail both dating the same person, but these talks rarely focus on you.
“What kind of guys are you fucking?” Shane asks bluntly, making you gasp.
“Normal guys.” You hiss, “Besides, it’s probably just me.”
Taking a sip of your drink then to deflect, the sharp flavor making you cough.
“You don’t starfish, do you?” Sam pipes up, helpfully.
It has you almost choking again.
Shane smirks, “Maybe it is you, Farm Girl. Should have someone here take a look-”
You miss the end of his comment with the sudden, loud scrape of wood. Heads turning to where Harvey half-stands, his chair pushed back. Staring your way, with lips parted and brow furrowed.
“You got something to say, Doc?” Shane scoffs, his voice a little too loud.
Harvey blinks, and reddens. Coming back to himself, a sharp click of teeth as they close - swiping his half-full glass from the table.
Mumbling something about needing a refill - before his head is dipping, and he makes towards the bar.
Your eyes follow him, before your hand is scrubbing over your face - the heels pressing into your eye sockets. And finally, mercifully, the subject is changed, a collective groan as Sam accidently knocks two stripes in the corner pockets.
But even as the evening fades - you can’t quite shake Harvey’s expression from your mind.
Tumblr media
The air is cool, hinting at the coming frost. Your jacket shrugged on as you step outside, before plunking down on the cobblestone path outside of the Stardrop.
It’s dark, late. The scattered streetlights outside offering pockets of the town, the rest cast in hazy shadow.
There’s a flare of light to your side. Sebastian sneaking out for his smoke break, now that Robyn and Demetrius have called it a night. You sometimes go with him, keeping silent company.
Content to let your legs dangle, to listen to the croak and groan of the frogs near the river. To let your mind wander.
Tonight though, it’s still so singularly focused.
You don’t feel embarrassed about what you said, only that he overheard it. Harvey had so much of his life together - surely a man who was there to discuss books and drink wine would not want to spent his evening listening to the lewd gossip of folks younger than him.
What if he took your words to heart, and thought you were not interested? What if he thought you weren’t good? A sigh to yourself then, as you pull yourself together with a reminder. Not that he thinks anything of you.
But… you admit that you had hoped.
It’s only now that you hear voices just down the path, two friends bidding goodbye. That shade of green you’ve come to associate with Harvey has your ears pricking up - catching where they linger, near the park benches.
Bravery steeling itself, in your belly.
“I’m gonna head out,” You hear yourself saying, as you push to your feet, “I’ll catch up with you guys tomorrow.”
“You sure?” Sebastian asks, with a smoky exhale.
“Yeah.” It’s distracted. Giving him a wave, just as you skirt around the door that opens behind you.
Missing the pair of eyes that follow you as you leave.
Too far out of earshot to hear the murmured words, as he exhales another held drag from his cigarette, “You’re missing your chance, man.”
And then the answer, growled out as Shane’s hands shove deep into the pockets of his well-worn jacket.
“Never had one.”
Tumblr media
“Harvey!” You call out, as he splits from his companion.
Missing how Elliot settles amongst the trio of benches, his book cracking open to finish the chapter under the streetlight.
Harvey lingers, in the middle of the cobblestone path. His expression almost wary, your explanation coming in a rush.
“I am sorry if we made you uncomfortable.” Your hands clasp together, fingers twisting, “We should’ve been more considerate. You and Elliot were there first.”
His expression clears at that, a slight mark between his eyebrows. He’s tall, you’re realizing. Not that you didn’t know, not that you haven’t stood next to him on occasion.
But your heart had never quite pounded like this, never so acutely aware of your proximity - too used to the barrier of the counter in his office.
“No, uh, not at all. I wasn’t uncomfortable.” Harvey clarifies, his voice soft, “I certainly didnt mean to try to interrupt. I’m afraid that was rude of me.”
His answer sends your mind careening into overdrive. Not quite taking his half-hearted excuse earlier, but too wrapped up in your embarrassment to truly process it.
That has you thinking - realizing that he had some sort of intention. Your heartbeat kicking up a notch, unable to help but wonder.
“Can I ask you something?” Your eyes search his, voice quiet in the night, “You don’t have to answer.”
The slight curve of his lips fall, an almost uneasy look passing his features - though he does not deny you, “If you’d like.”
“What were you going to say?” You ask him “Back in the bar. You can tell me, I won’t tell anyone.”
Your words hang, for a moment. And then silence, enveloped by the soft sounds of the night.
“Oh.” He hedges, a hand rubbing at the back of his neck, “It’s, ah… it’s just a shame.”
Your eyebrows lift, worry flooding through you as you wonder what he means.
“That you haven’t had a more… positive experience.” He finishes lamely.
The worry transforms, turning into a heated curiosity.
“Why would it be a shame?”
The shade of pink deepens across his cheeks, hidden in the shadows. A finger unconsciously hooking around his collar and tugging.
“Because there’s no reason satisfaction can’t be mutually inclusive,” He manages, “From uh, the point of view of a medical professional.”
Your lips press together to hide your laugh, charmed by his careful answer, “How I wish that were true.”
And that had him fixing on you, catching you in the brunt of his gaze, “It could be. Maybe you just haven’t met the right person yet.”
It makes your breath catch. That hope flaring to life again. Reading into his meaning, daring yourself to ask, “Is that right? You know anyone around here?”
Only to watch the way his face goes carefully blank - his words slow, “I’m sure… I’m sure you don’t need my help to find out.”
It’s hard not to feel disappointed. Hoping that there was an offer, woven into his words. The bit you had clung to leaves you, with the next exhale of your breath.
“I’m sure you’re right.” Your smile is small. Deflecting with a joke, because it’s all you know, “I don’t starfish, by the way. If you heard that part.”
He huffs a laugh, the corners of his eyes crinkling.
“I didn’t think you did.”
The look he gives you is at odds with his hesitance in answering. A soft, amused smile that makes your heart flip.
Yoba, you have it bad.
“Goodnight, Harvey.” You smile back - intent on ending the night before you make it worse, “And, thank you.”
His answer echos yours, his feet firmly rooted as you disappear into the night. Silence lingering under the soft glow of the street lamp, as his mind races.
“If you were looking for an invitation, old friend,” An amused voice comes from the benches - where Elliot still sits, his book long forgotten.
“That was it.”
Tumblr media
The television blares as you stretch out on the couch - intent on unwinding a bit further, after a long day. Immediately stripping down to your loungewear as soon as you stepped in the door, cracking a window to let in the autumn air.
Your head rests on a pillow, an old quilt pulled haphazardly around your hips as you watch a rerun of The Queen of Sauce - something that fortunately required little attention.
Because your mind is occupied elsewhere, thinking back to the square with both chagrin and disappointment. Hoping that maybe Harvey had drank more wine than you thought - that maybe he wouldn’t remember how you all but threw yourself at him.
Gentleman that he is, he probably just wouldn’t bring it up in the first place. You don’t know if that’s more preferable, or less - perhaps you owe him yet another apology.
A timid knock at the door draws your attention, your feet silent as you slip from the couch. You really should move it - giving yourself a view of the small, narrow porch. Maybe installing another light outside.
But this was Pelican Town, you remind yourself - you’re not in the big city anymore. It was probably Abigail, not wanting to head home yet.
For now, you move to the door, pausing to shrug on the worn, plaid barn coat that hangs by the door, buttoning it in an last-minute attempt at modesty.
Your hand on the frame of the door as you crack the front door open, close enough to grab the old wooden bat you have tucked next to the rickety side table.
Eyes going wide when you realize who it is.
Harvey. His face half-turned away, looking like he’s second-guessing himself from your delay - half-way ready to book it down the steps that lead to the packed dirt road.
“Hi again,” You nudge the door open wider, leaning against the frame.
He turns back, surprise crossing his features again when he sees you. Eyes dipping down, snagging - slowly dragging back up over the bare skin of your legs, the low dip of the collar, as if he has forgotten himself for a moment.
“Hi.” He answers belatedly, blinking as he comes back into the present.
You wait a beat for him to explain, for any sort of sign as to why he’s here. Wondering why he travelled all the way in near-darkness, you knew more than anyone what a trek it could be.
And he must realize, because he blinks again, worry pulling down the edges of his brows, a small crease appearing in the middle.
“I-, well, Elliot-,” Harvey begins, throwing a thumb over his shoulder into the darkness, his other hand still clutching the book from the Saloon. Starting over when he realizes he’s making zero sense, “Back, in the square.”
His lips pressing together for a moment, an inhale of breath before the words rush out, “Am I misreading this?”
An emphasis on ‘this’, a small gesture with his fingers between the two of you. It makes you smile, relief flooding through you - enough to where you’re reaching out, tapping a fingernail against the solid cover of the book.
“I think you’re reading this just fine.” Your head tilts up to look him in the eye, seeing the relief on his own features as well, “Would you like to come in?”
“Yes,” He breathes, and you’re stepping aside with a smile - taking his book from him to rest on the little side table.
Hanging his moss-green jacket on your one good hanger by the door, showing him where to put his shoes.
Steps that make the floorboards creak because he doesn’t know which ones to avoid - not yet - as he lets you guide him to the couch. Carefully sitting on the middle cushion, the sharp, white starch of his dress shirt standing out against the worn, rust-orange fabric.
Your own feet following until you’re standing in from of him. Not quite believing, as your face tilts down to meet the upturned angle of his own.
Harvey was here.
The man who got more than a little bossy with you when you came in to the clinic with a bad scrape, or a cold. Who always has a smile, who listened intently when you keep him up to date about the new crops you’re growing, even though he knows nothing about farming.
Who you never had let yourself daydream about too often, because he had always kept you at arms length. You had always thought it was part of his profession, or that perhaps he just didn’t see you like that.
Like he’s looking at you now - like you’ve hung the stars.
You really want to kiss him.
You hope he’ll let you.
Slowly, like when you’re approaching a new calf, you move toward him. The slight, automatic spread of his knees as you step between them, before your own knees are bending.
Hands resting on the wooden frame of couch as you lower yourself - until you’re straddling his thighs, bare knees pressing into the worn cushions on either side.
“This okay?” You ask, close enough to smell a hint of his aftershave, the solid weight of him beneath you.
Hands that slide from their place at his side, up the curve of your calves, until they’re resting on the bare expanse of your thighs.
“Yes.” The word comes out low, fingers pressing against your skin as your own drop to the thick buttons of your coat, slowly working each one open.
Until you’re shrugging the fabric off to pool on the wooden floor - all bare arms and legs beneath in your too-large t-shirt, a pair of cotton underwear.
About to apologize for your choice in clothing - never actually expecting to take someone home - but the hands rise, cradling your face as he tips it to meet his.
A low sound in your throat at his lips touch yours, your hands resting on his chest, fingers fisting in the fabric. A feather-soft brush until you shift, pressing yourself against him as you lean in.
His groan matches yours. Hands moving, skating down your arms, curving around your hips. Your hips roll on their own, seeking the friction of his trousers. Something warm pooling in your belly, when he deepens the kiss.
Encouraging you, as those hands guide the roll of your hips again. As his tongue brushes against lips that part without thought.
There’s the sharp punch of fruit on his tongue, paired with the taste of him. A heady mixture, making you feel like you could get drunk off just this.
You can feel him harden beneath you. Pressing against your cleft as your thighs inch further apart. It’s only when your hands leave his - reaching for the bottom of your shirt, that he breaks away.
His lips kiss-swollen and pretty. Disheveled, his tie crooked, shirt wrinkled from your fingers. Equally dazed, his eyes flicking down to your mouth, and then further again.
“Not here.” Harvey’s voice is a low rasp, unmoving despite his demand.
It has your pausing, until you catch the way his first two fingers slip under the hem, petting against skin.
“Bedroom?” You offer, and he’s smiling. Leaning forward to kiss you again. Easing you off him but it’s reluctant - his fingers twining with yours as you stumble into the next room.
It’s darker in there, the light from the television flickering against the floor. Dissolving as it reaches your bed, your knees parting this time as he stands between them.
Your eyes greedy, focused on his fingers as he loosens his tie, the first few buttons of his shirt. His own drifting over every inch and curve of you. A short intake of air as you tug the shirt from your shoulders, leaving it to drop on the floor.
It feels like you’re on display, but you can’t bring yourself to care. Not with the way he looks at you - his eyes snagging on the damp patch between your thighs, the pale fabric darkening with your arousal.
“You want to know what I was really thinking about?” He rasps, the tips of his fingers skating against your waist, slipping down to tease against the elastic band.
You’re near-mute. Left nodding, as the bed dips. As he urges you back into the pillows, folding himself onto the mattress with you.
“I was thinking-,” He tests the band, a finger slipping beneath. Inching it away from your skin, but not making to remove them, “A girl like you should be taken care of.”
His voice drops, “And that I wanted to be the one to do it.”
You feel yourself clench down around nothing. A low whine in your throat at the tone of his voice. So matter-of fact. Like he knows how to do just what he says.
“Can you?” It comes out strangled, your breath held as his eyes fix on yours, “Could you show me? What it’s like to be taken care of?”
“Would you like that, sweetheart?” He asks - his gaze searching. Slipping a second finger under, the blunt nails grazing sensitive skin.
“Yoba.” Your hips feel like they lift on their own, seeking him, “Yes. Please, yes.”
He smiles again, the moonlight catching on his glasses. A hand running through tousled curls, mussing them further. Fingers joining yours as your panties join the floor, baring yourself fully.
You expect him to touch you and he does - but not in the way you’re thinking. Lowering himself next to you, guiding your mouth to his again. His hand skimming the inside of your thigh. Fingers slipping along the crease where it meet your hip, inches away from where you ache for him.
“Harvey.” You sigh into his mouth. Chasing it when he pulls back, hearing the pleased hum in his throat. Carefully removing his glasses, tucking them into his shirt pocket.
Then his mouth is dropping to your neck, where your pulse flutters. To your shoulder. All while his fingers trace your skin, making you squirm in anticipation.
When his tongue peeks out to brush against tight, peaked nipple, you hear yourself cry out. Clinging to him again, as teeth graze against your breast - followed by a soothing kiss, his mustache tickling against the soft curve.
“I need you to touch me,” You pant.
Long forgetting what it was like to feel like this. The anticipation swirling in you like a dam about to burst. The desperation - knowing after all this time of wanting him, that tonight he is yours.
Your own hands grasping at him - tugging at the buttons. Pale skin and dark hair appearing with each one that loosens, trying to pull the hem from where it tucks into his trousers.
The hand against your thigh twitches, his gaze dark as he glances up at you. No longer hidden behind frames, you can see how his pupils are blown wide, inching out the hazel.
“I just want to make sure you’re ready, sweetheart.” He rasps, inching closer - fingers parting on either side of your mound.
“Want you nice and wet for me.”
It’s too much. You’re too wound up, needy. In your daydreams you’ve thought of him - in your bed, bent over the table in his office. Everything pales in comparison to this, turning you into a begging mess.
“I am,” You breathe, “Fuck, Harvey. You know I am, I’m-”
The words break off, turning into a ragged moan as he finally touches you. Parting your slick seam, where you’re dripping from the press of his mouth and the teasing glide of his fingers.
“There you are.” He hums, though you can feel the way his hips press against yours. Chasing his own urges, seeking friction where he strains.
Your eyes flutter half-shut as he teases as your entrance. Fingertips slick as he brings them up to circle your clit, sparks going up inside your belly.
Watching as he moves, the careful ease from where he lies next to you - now settling between your thighs.
“Yoba, you’re beautiful.”
He says it so simply, almost as if in awe. Your thighs start to clamp shut around his hand but he’s smiling - his left palm pressing your leg to the bed, opening you further.
Not used to his gaze like this. It flicks from your face, down to where his hands shift - his thumb rolling against your clit, as his middle finger sinks inside you.
He can feel how you clench around him already. Movements slow, drawing himself out just to sink further each time.
“So fucking pretty.” He says it again - you think, just to see you squirm. The way your eyes pull from his, the flex of your muscle under his palm.
Transfixed by the way his fingers move. The pressure against your clit, the way he presses deep. Your small room filled with the little sounds you make and the slick plunge of his finger.
Your panting breath catching, turning sharp as his finger crooks on the next pass. Carefully stroking against your inner walls, a throb of pleasure following.
He catches your sounds, a mark forming between his eyebrows. One you’ve seen before, in the way he focuses when you’re explaining something about your farm. A sweet stretch of pressure when he adds his ring finger, opening you further as he strokes again.
You haven’t felt anything quite like this. A ghost of it, with past lovers. Something that made your muscles tighten, but never so focused.
Like he’s intentionally searching for this spot that makes sparks arc up your spine. Making you ache for more - to be filled by him.
“Mm,” He hums with satisfaction, “Right there. Does that feel good?”
It’s hard to think, with the thrust of his fingers. The circling pressure against your clit. Your own fingers curling - one in the sheets, an anchor. The other drifting up to cup at your breast, unable to help leaning into his ministrations.
“Tell me, sweetheart.”
There’s an edge to his voice. One that he uses in his place of authority, one that only stokes the roaring flame in your belly. Everything winding tight in anticipation, each steady pump of his fingers hurtling you towards your peak.
“Yes,” You moan, “Yes. Oh, Harvey-”
His head dips, mouth pressing a kiss against your abdomen.
“Good girl.” He husks, with your answer. The words shoot straight to your cunt, just as you begin to arch into his touch.
“Oh, please-” You whine, eyes sliding shut, “Fuck, you’re gonna make me come.”
The pinch of your fingers harsh against the tight bud of your nipple. The flicker of pain melding with the tight swirl of his thumb.
“Good.” He all but growls, the words low and rough in his throat, “Come on, honey. Show me.”
Your next moan turns high and long - as that tight string inside you finally snaps. A throbbing pleasure that begins at the apex of your thighs, radiating outwards as you bear down around him.
The hand in your sheets grasping and slipping on your way to him - his hand leaves your thigh to twine with it. Anchoring you as your hips buck into fingers that have gone still, giving you something to clench around.
“Just like that,” He coos, “Ride it out, I’ve got you.”
His breath warm against your skin, a kiss pressed to your stomach again, then hip.
“It’s not you,” Harvey tells you, each kiss moving lower, “You know that, right?”
Your breath catching - it feels like your cunt is still pulsing, when his mouth dips further. Not waiting for your answer this time - driving his point home with the talented tongue that suddenly presses against the bud of your clit, wet and warm.
Ensuring you won’t forget.
A moan is ripped from you, as he teases. Tight pointed licks, a flat lick following. A rough groan as he tastes your orgasm that coats his fingers, only just how beginning to move.
You’re too sensitive, squirming at his touch. Panting breaths and little jerks of your hips, the tight twist of overstimulation bleeding into something smooth and sweet as honey.
He’s ruining you for everyone else. The thought is a blurry one, something you can barely snatch. He hasn’t even fucked you yet, and you’ve already come harder than you ever have.
And is already working you towards a second. A rough groan when you let your fingers leave his to twist in his dark curls. Grasping onto his shoulder with the other one, his shirt wrinkling further.
You want it off. You want all of it off, want him bare and on top of you. Want to taste him on your tongue. Taste yourself against his lips, after this.
Unsure how he’s able to do it. Bring you to the edge again so quickly, but maybe it’s because you’ve never desired someone like this.
Deeper than desire, though you’re not quite ready to admit it.
You’re brought back, as his palm presses beneath your thigh. Hiking it over a shoulder, opening you to be devoured. Those fingers more confident now, sure and slick as they pound into you. Louder now, with the way you coat them, your release smeared across your thighs.
This time when you come, it’s against his tongue.
Brought over with the way his lips close sound and suck. The way he groans at your taste, his clever fingers leaving you breathless.
Choking on your heartbeat as you shatter. His wide palm curled around your thigh, keeping your cunt pinned against his tongue.
This time he can feel your pulse. Each throb of pleasure as it resonates through you. Feel the way you gush for him - his fingers dampening further, across knuckles and the flesh of his palm.
“Fuck.” You moan, when you can breathe again.
You expect him to pull away, after this. He must know you’re more than ready. But instead all you can see is dark eyes, a tongue that slips between the fingers that are still buried in you.
“Harvey,” You gasp, as his tongue then lifts to curl over your clit again, “Don’t you want to-?”
Doesn’t he want to fuck you?
Isn’t he aching, like you are?
“Tonight is about you,” He answers firmly. Lips glossy with your release, and despite his words you don’t miss the way his hips press into the bed.
“Sounds like I got some time to make up for.”
Your head falls back onto the pillow as you huff a laugh, breath catching as you feel his fingers slip free just long enough to work in a third.
Already finding that spot again, as he begins to build towards a third.
If he can read you this easily already, you think dizzily…
You can’t wait to find out everything else he knows.

~
“Spencer, be more helpful,” you beg as you stuff your toothpaste into an almost-full toiletry bag while frantically looking for your chapstick.
“I told you this was going to happen,” he says with a huff of resignation. He begins to fold the tiny, but mighty (i.e., messy) pile of clothes on your bed, organizing them neatly in your duffle bag.
To be fair, he was right. To also be fair, it had been a long week at the office, working through a stack of files that seemed never-ending. The days were long as they always were, and you had already fallen behind on quite a few household tasks, a rare habit of yours that was particularly prominent during weeks like these. Packing for your girls’ weekend had been the last thing on your mind.
Now here you were with a flight that was sure to leave without you if you didn’t kick it into high gear, and a somehow always right Spencer Reid ready to drive you to the airport, and you couldn’t find your damn chapstick.
“Well, if you knew this was going to happen you should have come even earlier.”
You make your way from your bathroom to your bedroom and toss your toiletry bag on the bed, nearly missing Spencer’s arm as he folds the last of your jeans. He chuckles at your remark before tucking the see-through bag neatly into the duffle.
“You know, I could have not offered my automobile services to you. I could have let you perish on the side of the road,” he teases.
You roll your eyes as you rummage through the drawers of your bedside table. Where the fuck did you put your chapstick?
“You’ve packed so many go-bags, you’d think you’d have this down by now,” he continues.
“My go-bag!”
You rush to the living room, targeting another one of the (too many) duffle bags you own on the couch. Most of its contents had been emptied into your laundry basket or returned to their rightful places except a few, and you race back to your room with your chapstick proudly brandished. Spencer shakes his head in amusement.
“How long will you be gone?” he asks, gently taking the tube from your fingers and securing it inside the front pocket of the bag, now zipped up and ready to board.
“Just the weekend,” you smile, already feeling your shoulders ease as the breath finds your lungs easier. You hated rushing. “I haven’t been back to Michigan in almost a year.”
His brow furrows. “We had a case there last month.”
“Yeah but, you know what I mean. I want to see my friends and visit the museums and enjoy the food, not profile a psycho.”
You grab your bag and start to sling it over your shoulder as you make your way to the front door. Spencer trails behind you, reaching for the strap before you can secure it and placing it over his own shoulder.
“We haven’t had a full weekend off in a while,” he says, and is that the faintest twinge of disappointment in his voice? “I didn’t know you were going to be out of town.”
You glance over at him, letting your eyes wander for a moment. Spencer on the weekends was a rare sight. His hair was extra fluffy; he’d had time to truly wash it in the shower instead of the rushed mornings you were used to when working a case. He was wearing his favorite cardigan that he never traveled with, the bottom two buttons left undone and the light brown of the wool bringing out the even lighter specks of brown in his eyes.
Of course, there was your favorite part: Those damn, adorable glasses that made their appearance once in a blue moon and almost exclusively on weekends when he felt too lazy to put in his contacts. Spencer on the weekends was all soft smiles and gentle laughs and, quite frankly, he was an absolute joy to be around.
You internally echo his disappointment that you’ll be a plane ride away instead of here with him, enjoying a new book store he’d found or convincing him to go window shopping with you.
You stop yourself before letting this daydream become too enticing. You could spend a million weekends with Spencer and never get bored, but you did miss your hometown, and your friends. You had a plane to catch.
“Sounds like someone already misses me,” you joke, returning your gaze ahead of you and grabbing your keys from the kitchen counter. “We see each other nearly every hour of every day. I honestly thought the sight of me repulsed you.”
“What? Of course not! I don’t find you repulsing. I was just…“ he begins to trail off ever so slightly, and there it is again. That tempting bubble of a daydream and what the weekend could have been starts creeping back into your apartment. You’d probably do anything to please Spencer in this moment.
Damn him.
Before you can burst it, for the sake of both of you and your not-so-cheap plane ticket, the piercing ringtone of the good doctor’s phone bursts it for you.
You stare at each other knowingly.
“You’ve got to be kidding,” you groan, shutting your eyes and tossing your head back in defeat.
Spencer retrieves his phone from his back pocket, pursing his lips knowingly before answering it.
“Hey, Garcia… yeah… you don’t have to call her, she’s actually with me. We’ll be there soon.” He gives you an apologetic look as he hangs up.
“I’m sorry,” he says sincerely, the previous moment fully vanished as you both slip back into work-mode. You let out an exaggerated, though you feel appropriate, sigh.
“At least you packed my go-bag for me,” you say in attempt to ease your own sadness about your now nonexistent weekend plans. “You should come over before all our cases.”
“Don’t let my generosity fool you.” Spencer nudges you toward the door with a comforting hand. “You’re packing mine when we get to my place.”

Time doesn’t feel real anymore.
I couldn’t tell you if it’s Monday or Thursday. If it rained yesterday or the day before that. I keep the blinds half-shut, the room dim enough that the daylight doesn’t mock me but bright enough that I don’t lose all sense of time.
I haven’t gone back to the park.
I haven’t gone anywhere, really.
Just rotting in my apartment, wrapped in the same blanket, wearing the same hoodie, scrolling through the same three apps on my phone like they’ll eventually give me a reason to feel alive.
They don’t.
Every day starts the same.
Wake up too late. Answer emails too slowly. Fake interest during work calls, mute myself and nod like I’m present. Lie when my mom texts asking if I’ve been “getting out more.”
"Yeah, totally. Been trying to take walks!"
She replies with a heart emoji. Like that’s enough to count as connection.
My dad called once. Drunk, probably. I didn’t answer. Let it ring out and told myself I’d call back later.
I won’t.
Even Vicky’s texts have started slowing down. She knows me well enough to give space when I go quiet like this, but part of me wishes she’d just barge in again. Force me out of my own head.
But I won’t ask.
I never ask.
I just sit here. Work. Eat. Scroll. Sleep.
Repeat.
The only real interactions I have are with food delivery drivers. Strangers I see for five seconds at a time but who, lately, feel like they’re starting to see me too much.
Like they know.
Like they can tell.
That I’ve ordered from the same chicken place four nights in a row. That I haven’t brushed my hair in two days. That my voice is hoarse from not being used. That I look like I haven’t been touched or held or smiled for real in longer than anyone should.
The last one gave me a weird look. Not mean—just… curious. Pitying.
Like he didn’t expect me to be the one behind the door. Like maybe he thought the name on the receipt belonged to someone different. Someone who didn’t open the door in a hoodie with food stains and bare feet and eyes that screamed don’t look at me.
I said “thanks” too quickly and slammed the door before he could say anything back.
And then I stood there.
Back against the door.
Heart pounding like I’d just run a mile.
Why does it feel like every moment lately is some slow-burning humiliation?
Why does existing like this feel so loud?
Even when no one says a word.
I eat half the food, then leave the rest on the counter like some kind of offering to the version of me who should be doing better by now.
I wish I could stop spiraling.
I wish the guilt wasn’t its own kind of meal—chewed on between bites, swallowed down with shame and soda.
But I can’t stop.
I can’t make myself care enough to break the cycle.
And deep down, I know what’s happening.
The same thing that always happens.
I’m fading again.
Not in a dramatic, cry-for-help way.
Just… fading.
Quietly. Slowly.
-
I didn’t sleep much.
Again.
The apartment smells like old fries and leftover stress. My laptop screen glows too bright in the dim room, and the clock on the bottom corner blinks 9:59 a.m.—one minute before the weekly team meeting.
I throw on a different hoodie. Kind of. Technically it’s the same as yesterday, just a slightly less-wrinkled sibling. Hair’s in a messy bun. Face untouched. My camera’s always off, and I plan to keep it that way.
I log into Zoom and brace myself.
The team meeting starts the same way it always does—bad small talk, muted laughter, awkward pauses while someone forgets they’re on mute.
And then Katherine’s voice cuts through like glitter and caffeine.
“So…” she says, practically bouncing in her chair. Her camera is on, obviously. Background blurred, face glowing. “Can we tell them now?”
Our manager, Greg, chuckles like he’s part of some secret joke. “Yeah, yeah, alright.”
My stomach knots.
Greg leans forward. “Okay, team. We’ve got something fun coming up—real fun, not fake-corporate-fun.”
Katherine’s smile stretches even wider.
“We’ve booked out a section of Riot Club downtown this Friday night. Fully paid. Open bar. Food, music, everything.”
Someone lets out a “woo!” like we’re in a movie.
Riot Club.
Of course it’s Riot Club. I’ve heard of it—one of those trendy places where the lighting’s low, the music’s loud, and the people are confident. Beautiful. The kind of place where I’d normally rather light myself on fire than be perceived.
Greg keeps talking. “It’s a team-building thing. You know, for morale. We’ll have a reserved section upstairs, so it’s private, but feel free to bring your dancing shoes.”
Katherine claps. “This is going to be so fun. I’ve already got a dress picked out.”
Everyone’s reacting. Laughing. Making jokes about shots and karaoke and someone inevitably dancing on a table. People are already forming plans in the chat.
I just sit there, stiff.
Invisible.
Until Greg squints at the list of muted names and lands on me.
“Y/N—you in?”
My body freezes.
What?
No. No no no no no. This wasn’t part of the script. I was supposed to just sit through the meeting, nod silently, and then disappear like always.
But everyone is watching now. Katherine leans toward her screen with a curious smile. A few others are glancing sideways like they didn’t even know I existed before this moment.
And my mouth opens.
Before my brain catches up.
“Yeah,” I blurt.
It’s small. Quiet. But clear enough.
“Awesome,” Greg says, giving a thumbs-up. “Glad you’re coming.”
The moment passes.
The conversation moves on.
And I sit there, stunned.
What the fuck did I just do?
I didn’t mean to say yes.
I didn’t want to go.
I didn’t even want to be asked.
My heart is pounding. My hands are shaking slightly under the desk. The rest of the meeting blurs into static. I stare at the little camera icon on my screen, grateful it’s still red and crossed out.
They didn’t see the panic on my face.
Didn’t see the way I just agreed to willingly walk into a nightmare.
A club.
Downtown.
With people.
With Katherine.
With me, in the middle of it.
I log off the second the meeting ends and slam my laptop shut like I can shut reality with it.
I press the heels of my palms into my eyes and exhale hard.
What the hell am I going to do?
An hour passes.
I haven’t moved from the couch.
My laptop’s still shut, my hands tucked under my thighs, fingers curling into the fabric of my sweatpants. I’ve just been sitting here, replaying that moment over and over again in my head like a horror film on loop.
“Y/N—you in?”
“Yeah.”
God, why did I say that?
My phone buzzes on the cushion beside me.
I flinch, already bracing for it.
Katherine (1:19 PM):
Omg I’m SO glad you said yes!!! 🖤 This is going to be so fun. Honestly didn’t think you were the club type but I love a wild card 👀
I swallow hard. The nausea in my stomach doubles.
I stare at the screen for a full minute before typing.
me:
I didn’t really mean to say yes. I panicked.
It sends before I can change my mind. I instantly regret it—but not enough to delete it. I just stare, waiting.
Three dots appear.
Then disappear.
Then return again.
My chest tightens.
Katherine (1:22 PM):
LOL honestly same thing happened to me when I went to my first team party But hey—if you panic-committed, then now you’ve got a reason to go And if it helps… I’ll come pick you up No pressure. No stress. Just a ride with a semi-decent playlist 😎
My throat clenches. That’s... really nice of her. Too nice. Too much.
Why is she being so nice?
me:
You really don’t have to do that
Katherine (1:25 PM):
I know But I want to You’re part of the team. You deserve to be part of the fun too Besides, it’ll be easier walking in with someone than alone, right?
That part hits harder than I expect.
Because she’s not wrong.
Walking in alone would’ve destroyed me. I would’ve hovered by the entrance pretending to check nonexistent texts for twenty minutes, trying to disappear through the floor.
But now the panic shifts.
Because if Katherine picks me up… if I go…
They’ll see me.
Not blurry camera me. Not muted Zoom square me. Not vague voice-on-a-call me.
Me.
My body. My face. My everything I try so hard to keep tucked behind oversized hoodies and safe little rectangles on a screen.
And I won’t have Vicky.
She’s too far away. Hours away. No teleport button. No last-minute rescue.
I glance at the corner of my room where the dress Vicky once made me buy is still hanging—tags on, dusty from months of pretending one day I’d wear it.
My fingers hover over the keyboard again.
me:
They’re all going to see me for real
I don’t even know if I meant to send that. But I do.
And she replies instantly.
Katherine (1:29 PM):
Yeah And that’s a good thing You’re more than just a voice on Slack. You’re cool. People will love you. And if they don’t? Screw them. I’ve got your back.
I stare at the message until the letters blur a little.
I don’t know what I expected. A brush-off? A vague “you’ll be fine”?
Not this.
Not kindness.
Not support.
And instead of feeling reassured, all I can think is: I’m going to let her down. She doesn’t know how weird I look. How awkward I am in real life. How I fold in on myself when people make eye contact.
My hands shake as I put my phone down.
I feel like a burden.
A walking, talking inconvenience.
But Katherine didn’t make it feel that way. She didn’t hesitate.
And now the clock is ticking.
Two days until the event.
Two days until I have to be seen.
Two days until there’s no hiding.
The next evening
The sky is already dark when my phone buzzes again.
Vicky’s calling.
I almost let it go to voicemail—I’m too wrapped in the knot of dread sitting in my stomach—but then I remember her last text:
"You better answer or I’ll assume you’ve turned into a blanket goblin."
Fair.
I accept the video call and flip the camera. My hoodie’s still on. Hair’s up. Bare face. Blanket wrapped around me like a depressed burrito.
Vicky’s face lights up the screen the second the call connects. She’s got a clay face mask on and a mug the size of a soup bowl in her hands.
“Yooo,” she says, squinting at me. “There’s my favorite gremlin. Look at you. So glowy. So... suspiciously bundled.”
I manage a weak laugh. “Hi.”
She narrows her eyes. “You look like someone who accidentally agreed to something horrifying. Tell me everything.”
I exhale slowly, sinking deeper into the couch. “I said yes to going to a company team-building party.”
Her brows shoot up. “What?”
“Yeah.”
“Like… willingly?”
“No. I panicked. They asked me in the Zoom meeting. Out loud. In front of everyone.”
Vicky winces. “Oof.”
“I said yes because my brain short-circuited and I didn’t know how to say no. And now Katherine’s all excited and she’s picking me up and everyone’s going to see me.”
I drop my face into my hands.
There’s a pause.
Then Vicky gently says, “Okay. Breathe. Just… pause the spiral for a second.”
I peek at her through my fingers. “I don’t want to go, Vick.”
“I know, babe. But maybe… hear me out… it’s not the worst thing ever?”
I roll my eyes.
She continues, sitting up straighter. “Look, I get it. Being around people is exhausting. Especially people who’ve only ever seen you from the neck up through a laptop screen with soft lighting and pixel blur. But maybe it’s also—kind of—a big deal that you said yes?”
“I didn’t mean to say yes.”
“But you did. And maybe that’s your soul doing some sneaky internal growth while your anxiety wasn’t looking.”
I snort, despite myself.
She grins. “I’m serious. You’ve been hiding for so long. What if this is your brain’s way of going: hey, what if we just tried for one night? Just one.”
“I don’t think I’d look good in anything…” I mumble. “Everyone’s going to look amazing and I’ll look like someone’s exhausted older cousin who wandered in by accident.”
“You are so dramatic,” Vicky says, sipping her tea. “You’re beautiful, Y/N. And if you want, we can raid your closet together. I can help you pick something. Virtual wardrobe montage, 2000s romcom style. Or maybe you still keep that pretty dress I gifted ya?”
I let out a quiet laugh. “Of course I do..” I took a glance at the dress hanging in my wardrobe whose doors were wide open and sighed quietly. Maybe I should just wear it?... “God, remember when we used to actually do that?”
“Yup. And you always looked better than me, so shut up.”
“You’re literally perfect.”
“And you’re literally going to be fine. Put that dress I gave ya and some sexy smoky make up and you’ll get yourself a man immediately once they see how pretty you are.” She joked. Or did she?
I exhaled slowly, chewing on the edge of my blanket.
Vicky’s voice softens. “I know it feels terrifying. But it’s just one night. You don’t have to perform. You don’t have to be the life of the party. Just show up. Have a drink. Exist.”
I pause. “That’s already a lot.”
“I know,” she says. “But I also know you. And I think… deep down… some part of you wants this. Wants to be seen. Wants to be out there, even just a little.”
My chest tightens at that. She’s not wrong. That part does exist.
I just don’t know if I can handle it.
She raises an eyebrow. “Also, let’s not forget… there’s always a chance Jungkook shows up.”
I groan. “Oh my God. Vick—”
“I’m just saying! Downtown club? Underground fighter with rich-kid rebellion vibes? Sounds like his kind of scene.”
I bury my face again. “He doesn’t even know my name. I was literally wearing a blanket and panic-wheezing the last time he saw me.”
“Which is iconic,” she says with a smirk. “A mystery girl with a nicotine aura and oversized hoodie chic? He’s probably haunted by you.”
I laugh, this time louder. It feels weird to laugh this much.
It feels good.
I sigh. “I don’t know if I can do this.”
“You can,” she says simply. “And if it sucks? You leave. You can lie, say you feel sick. Blame a mysterious food allergy. I’ll back your story from four towns away.”
I smile at her through the screen, heart aching in that familiar way. “I wish you were going with me.”
“Me too,” she says. “But you’ve got this. And if nothing else, you’ll get free drinks and something to text me about at 2 a.m.”
My chest still feels tight, but a little less so.
Maybe, just maybe, I can survive this.
Maybe.
Friday. 7:45 p.m.
Any minute now.
Katherine said she'd be here at 7:50 sharp, and her texts have been consistently enthusiastic in that exact “I-will-drag-you-out-with-love-if-I-have-to” tone.
The clock on my phone reads 7:45.
I’m standing in front of the mirror.
And I can barely look at myself.
But I do.
Because I have to.
The dress Vicky gifted me hugs my body in places I usually try to erase. It’s soft black fabric—slightly structured but flowy enough to move in. Not tight. Not shapeless. Somewhere in between. It cinches a little under my chest and floats down from there, and yeah—it technically hides the parts I always try to shrink… but it doesn’t make them disappear.
Nothing could.
My arms. My thighs. My belly.
Still there. Still mine.
I shift my weight. My shoulders are hunched, posture defensive like I’ve spent a lifetime trying to take up less space. I force myself to stand straighter, but it feels foreign—like wearing someone else’s confidence.
My hair’s curled, but not polished. Messy on purpose. Loose and imperfect. I let a few strands fall over my face to soften everything, hide a little behind the veil of effort.
My makeup… I surprised myself.
A soft wing of eyeliner that actually looks even. Mascara that didn’t smudge. Clip-on earrings—little silver hoops—because I’ve always hated needles. And the lipstick.
God.
Red.
Bold. Loud. The exact kind of color that draws attention, and I don’t know what possessed me to wear it but here it is. On my mouth. Like a statement I’m too scared to say out loud.
I bite my bottom lip, testing it.
Still there.
Still vibrant.
And then the boots. Chunky, black, reliable. My little leather jacket. A crossbody bag just big enough for my phone, my ID, and my emergency excuses if I decide to flee.
The whole look… it’s not perfect.
But it’s mine.
And it’s been so long since I looked like this. Since I tried.
Since I showered, styled my hair, painted my face with intention instead of hiding behind foundation and prayer.
It’s strange.
I look almost like a version of myself I used to imagine. Not the girl on Zoom. Not the girl curled under blankets avoiding the world. Not the ghost who scrolls through Instagram and feels like she lives on the outside of her own life.
No—this version?
She exists.
And she's going out tonight.
I take one more look.
And then another.
I wish I could say I love what I see. That I feel powerful. Beautiful.
But really—I just feel… real.
And maybe that’s enough.
My phone buzzes.
Katherine (7:47 PM):
Outside! 🚗✨ You ready, queen?
My stomach flips.
This is it.
No turning back now.
I swipe on a final layer of confidence, inhale slow through my nose, and grab my bag.
One shaky step toward the door.
And I whisper to my reflection—so quiet I barely hear it myself:
“Let’s just try.”
The door clicks shut behind me.
The night air hits my skin like a soft warning—cool and sharp against the warmth trapped under my leather jacket. The street glows in soft orange hues from the overhead lamps, casting my shadow long across the pavement.
My boots clink softly with every step.
Each one feels louder than it should. Like they’re announcing me to the world.
I spot it almost immediately.
A red Chevrolet Camaro, sleek and shining like something out of a movie, parked right in front of my building.
Of course it’s Katherine’s.
It fits her—bold, polished, unapologetically attention-grabbing.
She’s already in the driver’s seat, one perfectly manicured hand on the wheel, the other holding her phone, probably cueing up a playlist. The interior lights glow faintly, outlining her profile like she stepped out of a commercial for glam and success.
I pause at the curb, take a breath, and circle around the car.
The closer I get, the more aware I am of everything—how my dress moves, how my hair feels, how exposed my legs are above the boots. I hope the lipstick hasn’t smudged. I hope I don’t look like I’m trying too hard.
I open the passenger door and slide in, the leather seat cold against my thighs.
“Hey!” Katherine beams, bright as ever. “Oh my God, look at you! You look gorgeous!”
I blink. “Me?”
She nods so fast her ponytail bounces. “Yes, you! I mean, I always suspected you were hiding a baddie under those hoodies, but damn.”
I laugh, quietly. “Thanks… you look amazing too.”
And she does.
Her platinum hair is curled and glossy, her skin glowing like a dewy Instagram filter. She’s in this glittery blush-toned mini dress that hugs her like it was tailored just for her. Her lips are glossy pink, heels sparkling like something ripped from a Barbie runway.
She looks like she belongs in a club.
I… look like someone playing dress-up in her big sister’s closet.
The confidence I built in my room wavers just a little. Just enough to notice.
But I breathe past it.
I try.
Katherine pulls away from the curb, music low, windows cracked just enough to let the air drift in.
We make small talk. Work stuff. Light jokes. I let myself laugh, even if it sounds a bit too high-pitched.
“You nervous?” she asks, glancing over at a red light.
I nod. “A little.”
“You’ll be fine,” she says, smiling like it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “You already did the hardest part—you showed up. Everything else is cake.”
I nod again, forcing a small smile. “Cake.”
We were supposed to arrive at 8:20.
But traffic hits just outside downtown. One of those long, inching slogs where brake lights stretch out in front of us like a never-ending warning.
Katherine doesn’t seem fazed. She just leans back, taps her fingers on the wheel to the beat of the song playing, and throws occasional commentary about the guy in the next car who keeps checking her out.
I, on the other hand, sit perfectly still—my fingers clenched tight in my lap, counting down the seconds, watching the time slip away like it’s water running through my hands.
8:30.
8:40.
8:50.
Finally—finally—we pull up in front of Riot Club.
The street is already buzzing. Neon lights pulse against the sidewalk. There’s music thumping through the walls like a second heartbeat, and the line to get in snakes down the block.
Even with our name on the list, even with a reserved section upstairs—just seeing the crowd makes my breath hitch.
People everywhere.
Laughing, talking, dressed like they’re made for the spotlight.
My smile falters.
Every instinct in my body screams go home. I could walk back to the car. I could make an excuse. Say I got sick. Say I forgot something. Say anything.
But Katherine’s already opening her door.
She climbs out in one graceful move, standing tall in her heels, dress glittering like it’s alive.
She walks around to my side and opens the door before I can stop her.
Her hand extends toward me like a challenge.
“You ready?” she grins.
I glance at the club entrance. The crowd. The bouncer. The stairs.
My throat tightens.
But I reach out and take her hand anyway.
Because it’s too late to turn back now.
And maybe, just maybe, I don’t want to.
The bass hits first.
Even before we step fully inside.
It pulses under my skin, loud and relentless, like someone’s holding a speaker up to my chest and daring my heartbeat to sync with it.
The bouncer checks our names—Katherine flashes him a smile that probably gets her through most doors in life—and just like that, we’re in.
Riot Club lives up to the name.
The air is thick with heat and sweat and perfume that doesn’t quite mask the alcohol. The lights are low—deep reds and pulsing blues, flickering like a heartbeat in strobe—and the music...
“Dime por qué lloras / De felicidad…”
“El Teléfono” is blasting through the speakers like it’s 2008 again and we’re dancing in someone’s garage after drinking vodka from a water bottle. The beat pounds so hard the floor itself vibrates. People crowd the dance floor, hips moving, arms lifted, heads thrown back in laughter.
Everyone looks like they belong here.
I feel like I just walked into someone else’s dream.
We push our way through the crowd, Katherine’s hand hooked around my wrist, guiding us like she’s done this a thousand times. And maybe she has.
I stumble once. Apologize to someone who doesn’t even hear me.
And all the while, my brain spirals.
I’m twenty-six years old.
I have a full-time job. I pay my rent on time. I buy my own groceries. I have a plant that hasn’t died yet. I’m technically a grown woman.
But walking through this crowd?
Hearing this music?
Heading up the stairs to the VIP section of a club like I’m someone who does this regularly?
It feels wrong.
Like I stole this night from someone else’s life and I’m going to get caught at any moment.
Because no matter how much time has passed—no matter how many birthdays have stacked up—I still feel sixteen sometimes.
Sixteen and anxious and deeply unsure of myself.
Sixteen and pretending to be cool when I never knew how to dance.
Sixteen and quietly guilt-ridden about staying out past ten, even when no one cared.
My parents never checked in. Never enforced curfews. I could’ve stayed out till dawn and no one would’ve blinked.
But I still tiptoed home.
Still felt like I was doing something wrong.
Still played the part of the good girl.
The quiet one. The one who didn’t drink too much. The one who didn’t get into trouble. The one who didn’t let anyone too close.
And now here I am.
In a club. Wearing red lipstick. Walking past strangers with glitter on their cheeks and drinks in their hands. Climbing the stairs to a private section like I belong here.
And I don’t.
I don’t.
I grip the railing tighter.
Katherine glances back at me once, beaming, shouting something I can’t hear over the music. I nod, smile faintly, keep walking.
Even if I wanted to leave, I wouldn’t know how to say it. Not without sounding ungrateful. Not without disappointing her. Not without confirming what I already believe:
That I can’t do this.
That I don’t fit.
The VIP section is a little quieter. Not by much. Just enough that the bass doesn’t feel like it’s rattling my teeth. There’s a sleek couch setup, a long glass table filled with small plates, fancy drinks, and coworkers already laughing, already loose.
They see Katherine.
They see her.
And then they see me.
Eyes flick over me in passing—some smiles, a few nods, one girl I recognize from Zoom gives me a friendly wave—but no one says anything just yet.
Still, I feel it.
Seen.
And not in the romantic, movie kind of way.
In the raw, terrifying, naked kind of way.
The kind where the hoodie doesn’t save you anymore.
I sit at the edge of the couch, trying to make myself small. The leather squeaks under me. I smooth my dress out, sip water from a sweating glass, and try to remember how to act like I belong in my own life.
Maybe if I fake it long enough, I’ll start to believe it.
The lights up here are softer.
Warmer.
Still dim, still flickering from the music below, but not as harsh. The kind of glow that makes people look a little better, a little more relaxed, a little less intimidating.
I sit with my drink—water, for now—gripping the glass too tight and trying to remember how to function.
A few coworkers drift over. People I recognize from work chat and project check-ins and endless Slack threads.
Samantha from accounting compliments my earrings.
Miguel from marketing asks if I like reggaeton.
Liam—who’s always joking in meetings—offers me a plate of mini empanadas and says, “You clean up nice.”
They’re all friendly. Genuinely.
There’s no cruel undertone. No judgment. No whispered looks.
Just warmth.
But I’m still quiet.
Smiling politely, saying thank you, answering questions with short but safe replies. My hands never quite stop fidgeting in my lap or tapping the rim of the glass. My eyes scan the room too often, like I’m waiting for someone to tell me I’m not supposed to be here.
Because I don’t feel like the girl they’re talking to.
I’m still wearing that invisible hoodie. Still hunched, still hiding behind practiced small talk and careful laughter.
But if Vicky were here?
I’d be different.
She’s seen me sobbing in the dark, surrounded by snacks and shame and silence. She’s seen my worst spirals, my messy breakdowns, the parts of me I try to keep hidden from the rest of the world.
And she stayed.
That’s the difference.
That’s why I can be silly with her. Loud. Soft. Raw.
With other people? I’m just this version. Polished edges and apology eyes.
Until—
“Alright, alright, look at this crew!”
Greg walks in like he owns the room—because technically, he does. Our manager. Balding but confident, shirt half-tucked, wearing some kind of printed button-up that says cool boss energy more than business formal.
People cheer, a few stand to greet him.
He raises a glass of something amber and laughs. “Glad you all made it out of your caves. I was starting to think half of you were AI.”
More laughter. Even I smile.
Then his eyes sweep the room.
They stop on me.
And something shifts in his expression. Not unkind—just… surprised.
“Y/N?” He squints, then chuckles. “Wow. I didn’t recognize you without the hoodie and messy bun.”
The comment makes me freeze for a split second—but he says it casually, without malice. Just surprise.
I laugh.
A real one, kind of. The kind that’s a little unsure, but still genuine.
“Yeah,” I say, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, “I almost didn’t recognize me either.”
People chuckle softly. Katherine beams.
Greg walks over and clinks his glass gently against mine. “Well, you look great. Glad you’re here.”
He takes the empty seat beside me and starts chatting with everyone—asking Miguel about his dog, teasing Samantha about her Spotify Wrapped, telling Katherine he still doesn’t understand TikTok.
And slowly—so slowly—I start to relax.
I take a deeper breath.
My shoulders loosen.
I set my empty water glass down on the table, flag down the server, and when she leans in, I hear my voice say:
“Can I get a cherry vodka and Red Bull?”
She nods.
My heart hammers.
Bold.
Stupid?
Maybe.
But I want to feel something. I want to taste something sweet and fizzy and wrong. I want to be a little more than this shell. Just for one night.
Just for a few hours.
The music shifts to something smoother, more danceable. People start standing up, moving closer to the balcony railing that overlooks the dance floor.
I lift the drink when it comes. It’s pink and fizzy and tastes like rebellion.
And for the first time tonight—
I let myself smile.
Not the polite one.
The real one.
The vodka’s hitting.
Not in a dizzying, blackout kind of way—but warm and weightless. Like I’ve floated half an inch above all the anxiety pressing on me for years. My limbs feel light. My smile keeps slipping out easier.
I’m laughing with coworkers. Actually laughing.
Samantha and I bond over our mutual hatred for Slack emojis. Miguel and Katherine are fake-arguing about who danced worse in high school. Liam keeps sliding plates of snacks toward me like I’m going to vanish if I don’t keep eating.
I let myself exist here.
Music hums through my bones. Bass in my ribs. My third vodka tastes like childhood candy and bad decisions. I sip it anyway.
I don’t know how long it’s been. Maybe an hour. Maybe five minutes. Time doesn’t work properly in clubs.
I lean back into the plush couch, my knees tucked close, boots dangling off the edge. I’m warm, surrounded, not invisible for once—and weirdly okay with it.
Until it happens.
Voices at the stairs.
Low, laughing.
Footsteps on metal.
I glance toward the staircase, not really focused, eyes soft from the buzz. Just another group coming up to the VIP—nothing unusual.
But the shift in energy is immediate.
A few people at our table—Katherine, Miguel, even Greg—perk up, smiling, waving.
“Yo! You made it!” someone calls out.
I blink.
Samantha lifts a hand, grinning. “That’s my cousin—he actually showed up!”
I follow their line of sight without thinking.
A small group of guys is climbing the stairs. Most of them dressed in that effortless, too-cool-to-try way: dark shirts, silver chains, tattoos peeking under sleeves. Confident. Comfortable.
And at the back—
No.
No way.
Everything stills.
The vodka buzz disappears like it was never there.
Because he’s there.
Jungkook.
Climbing the stairs, slow and deliberate, head slightly tilted as he surveys the space. Black button-up open just enough to show the tattoos crawling down his chest. Sleeves rolled. Hair messy, damp at the ends. Silver hoops in both ears, a glint of light catching the ring on his lip.
He looks like a storm barely leashed.
Like he’s too real to exist in the same night I’m pretending belongs to me.
My heart lurches, tight and hot.
I don’t move.
Katherine shifts beside me—and I can feel her stiffen.
She knows.
She remembers.
“Oh my God,” she mutters under her breath, wide-eyed. “That’s Jungkook.”
I already know.
Of course I know.
He reaches the top of the stairs just as a few people from our group go over to greet them. There are hugs, loud voices, handshakes.
And then—
He looks up.
And sees me.
Our eyes lock.
Just for a second.
But it stretches.
His expression doesn’t change—no dramatic reaction, no double take. But I see something flicker in his gaze.
Recognition.
Memory.
Stillness.
Like maybe he’s just as surprised as I am.
Maybe.
I can’t move.
I can’t breathe.
Because in all the daydreams, in all the hypothetical versions of this night where something wild and cinematic happens—I never once imagined he’d walk through the same door.
And I never imagined I’d be seen like this.
Not by him.
Not without the hoodie.
Not without the shield.
Just… me.
In red lipstick and messy curls and boots that suddenly feel too loud.
The moment breaks when someone claps Jungkook on the back and laughs too loud.
Just like that, the energy shifts again—back to motion, to noise, to people moving around her like the ground isn’t still tilting beneath her feet.
The guys from the stairs reach our group, folding in with the kind of ease that only people born into comfort can pull off. One of them—tall, handsome, full of charisma—grins and raises his drink like a toast.
“This the famous marketing team?”
Laughter.
Greg stands, already pulling chairs closer, greeting them like old friends.
“Glad you made it, man. We were just talking about how you never show.”
Someone’s cousin. Someone’s friend. A small flood of introductions happens as people shift to make room.
They’re laughing, shaking hands, slapping backs, sliding into the booth with practiced ease. And then one of them—black curly hair, a cheeky grin—gestures around the group.
“I know Katherine, and Sam, and this loud dude—” (he points at Miguel, who mock-scowls) “—but I don’t think we’ve met everyone. Introductions?”
Katherine, ever the social butterfly, takes the lead.
She starts going around the table with names and small “she’s the one who handles client crises at lightning speed” or “this guy eats peanut butter straight from the jar at work” types of comments. Everyone laughs along.
But they’re getting closer.
And then Katherine’s hand gestures toward me.
“And this,” she says with a soft smile, “is Y/N.”
My stomach drops.
All eyes shift to me.
I feel the weight of it instantly.
His eyes, especially.
I can feel them on me like heat through glass.
I stiffen. My cheeks flush—instant, impossible to stop. My fingers tighten around my glass, and for a second, I debate saying I forgot how to speak.
But I don’t get that choice.
Everyone’s watching. Expecting.
So I force it out.
“I—uh—hi. I’m Y/N.” My voice is small. Nervous. But it doesn’t shake.
One of the guys smiles, nodding. “Nice to meet you.”
Another throws out a “cool name.”
I nod, offering a tiny, polite smile.
But I can feel how red my face is. I can feel the way I’ve curled into myself again—shoulders hunching, legs crossed, one boot tapping lightly against the floor.
And when I glance—just a flicker, just for a second—
Jungkook is watching me.
Expression unreadable. Not intense. Not amused. Just… there.
Still.
Present.
I look away fast, heart rattling in my chest like it's trying to crawl up my throat.
Greg says something to the group that makes them all laugh, and the attention shifts again.
Relief and embarrassment swirl together in my stomach like oil and water.
No one said anything weird. No one laughed at me. No one even stared too long.
But still—I feel like I just stood under a spotlight with a sign around my neck that said this is what anxiety looks like.
I take a slow sip of my drink, the cherry vodka suddenly too sweet, too sharp.
And all I can think is:
He knows my name now.
The music thumps through the walls like a second heartbeat.
It’s late now. Maybe close to midnight—maybe later. Time has gone slippery.
Most of the group has thinned out. Some are on the dance floor, bodies weaving under flashing lights. Laughter spills from the stairs every few minutes. Katherine’s nowhere in sight—last I saw, she left giggling with one of the guys, disappearing into the haze of music and bodies.
The couch is quiet now.
Except for me.
And him.
I’m sitting at the far end, drink mostly watered down from melted ice, cradled between both hands like it’ll anchor me to the moment.
Jungkook sits at the other end, legs spread, elbows resting on his knees, thumbs moving lazily over his phone screen.
The silence between us is loud.
But not awkward.
Just heavy. Like static before a storm.
I glance at him once—just a peek—and catch the slope of his nose in profile, the soft curve of his bottom lip, the way his dark lashes shadow his cheekbones in the low lighting.
He’s real.
And somehow still unreal.
I look away.
Focus on the condensation dripping down the side of my glass.
And then, after what feels like an entire hour compressed into ten seconds, he puts his phone face-down on the table.
I feel it before I see it.
His eyes on me.
I look up.
And he’s looking directly at me.
Expression unreadable. Not intense. Not soft. Just... real.
And then he speaks.
“Why are you avoiding me?”
The question hits harder than I expect.
My breath catches.
“I’m not—” I start, then stop.
He raises a brow, like he’s giving me a second chance to be honest.
“You are,” he says calmly. “At the store. At the park. That night at the fight. You keep running.”
His voice is quiet. Low enough that it doesn’t rise above the music, but it slices straight through it anyway.
He leans back slightly, his gaze still locked on mine.
“I try to talk to you,” he says. “Be friendly. Say hey. But every time, you act like I’m about to bite you.”
I open my mouth. Then close it. Then open it again.
“I…” I swallow. My cheeks are burning. “I’m just… not good at—”
He waits.
I try again. “At talking. To people. I’m not used to... this. Attention. Or—whatever this is.”
His head tilts slightly, the edge of his lip quirking. “But you’re here now.”
I blink. “What?”
“You’re here,” he says, motioning around with a small gesture. “At a loud-ass club. In makeup. In a dress. Sitting across from me. Talking.”
I fidget with the straw in my glass, fingers slippery with nerves.
“I didn’t really mean to come,” I admit, voice barely above the music. “They asked in front of everyone, and I panicked and said yes. Then Katherine guilt-tripped me into following through.”
Jungkook chuckles. It’s soft. A little amused. “And the park?”
I bite my lip.
He continues, voice low, not teasing. Just… curious. “You sit there like you want to disappear. But you keep showing up.”
I don’t know what to say to that.
Because he’s right.
I do keep showing up.
Even when I don’t know why.
Even when I’m terrified.
“I just…” I try to find the words, voice catching halfway through. “I don’t want to waste your time.”
That gets him.
His brows draw together, like he’s actually confused by that.
“Waste my time?” he repeats, slowly. “Why would you think that?”
I shrug. “Because... I’m not like the people you’re usually around.”
“Meaning?”
“I’m not interesting,” I murmur. “Not fun. I’m awkward. Quiet. I don’t look like…” I gesture vaguely toward the dance floor, where people are laughing, effortless, magnetic.
His expression doesn’t change.
He just watches me.
And then he says, simply, like it’s obvious:
“I wouldn’t be sitting here if I didn’t want to be.”
That silence comes back—thick and humming between us.
I can’t look at him.
But I feel it.
The shift.
The undeniable fact that I’ve been seen.
And not just noticed.
Seen.
The moment between us teeters—suspended in some strange, weightless pause where I almost feel like maybe, maybe, I belong in it.
But then, the universe does what it always does.
It reminds me.
A voice cuts through the moment. “Yo, Jungkook, what’s up, man?”
I blink, and a coworker—Jake, I think, from another department—plops down on the other side of Jungkook, grinning, already pulling him into some conversation about mutual friends and “remember that night at Noir?”
Jungkook gives me one last glance, like he’s trying to hold the thread of whatever just passed between us.
But the moment breaks.
I stand quietly, smoothing my dress out of habit.
“I’ll be back,” I murmur, not sure if anyone hears me.
I slip away from the couch and head toward the exit—out of the music, out of the lights, out of that sudden, overwhelming visibility.
Outside, the air is cooler.
Crisp, biting.
I dig into my jacket pocket for my cigarettes and lighter. My fingers are clumsy, the adrenaline from earlier still lingering in my veins. My boots click lightly against the pavement as I make my way a little off to the side of the club entrance.
But I’m not alone.
A group of guys—maybe four or five—are huddled nearby, already smoking. Laughing in that careless, half-drunk way that makes everything sound louder, meaner.
I light up and keep my distance. Hug the wall. Eyes down.
I just need a minute.
A breath.
But then I hear it.
At first, it’s just fragments.
“Did you see that chick inside—” “—the one with the big boots and the red lipstick?” “Dude, she was huge.” “Right? I didn’t know they let heavyweights into VIP.”
My heart sinks.
My hands freeze.
They don’t say my name. But they don’t have to.
I know.
My throat closes.
My eyes burn.
I don’t move. I don’t say a word. I just keep smoking like maybe the nicotine will hold me together. Like maybe if I stay perfectly still, they’ll forget I exist.
But the words keep echoing.
Fat.
Huge.
Laughter.
It doesn’t even matter if they meant it to be cruel.
It still hurts.
And I hate how used to this I am.
I hate how practiced I’ve become at not reacting.
My eyes sting harder, and I blink fast, trying to will the tears back. My lips tremble, but I take another drag like that’s going to help.
Then I hear footsteps.
Heavy ones.
And before I can look up, I hear a low, familiar voice—tight with something dangerous.
“Is there a problem?”
I glance to my side.
Jungkook.
Standing there.
Still. Cold. A different kind of presence entirely.
The group falls silent immediately.
One of them—a guy in a bomber jacket, who was laughing the loudest—straightens up, eyes wide.
“Oh shit—Jungkook, bro—nah, man. No problem here.”
The others murmur quickly in agreement.
Jungkook doesn’t smile. Doesn’t move.
He just stares at them.
The air feels like it’s holding its breath.
The guy in the bomber jacket laughs nervously. “Didn’t know you were out here. We’re just chilling, man. All good.”
Jungkook’s voice is calm. Steady. But it cuts.
“You sure?” he asks, head tilted slightly. “Because I heard something different.”
More stammering. More backpedaling.
They recognize him.
Not just as a guy—they recognize who he is. What he’s capable of.
“There’s no problem,” one says again, voice lower now.
Jungkook looks at them a beat longer. Then turns, stepping between them and me, placing himself just enough that it feels like a shield without saying it out loud.
He doesn’t look at me yet.
Not until they’re gone.
And when they finally scatter, awkward and mumbling and fast-walking down the block, he finally turns back.
His voice is soft now. So different from before.
“You okay?”
I don’t trust my voice, so I just nod.
But my eyes give me away. They always do.
He looks at me, really looks at me, and says, “You don’t have to act like it didn’t hurt.”
And something inside me almost breaks open.
Because no one’s ever said that to me before.
Not like that. “Would you like me to drive you home? I am with my car and I haven’t drank any alcohol..”
I shake my head again, trying to keep my voice even though everything inside me is fraying. " I—I’m okay. I’ll just get home on my own."
He doesn’t argue. Doesn’t push.
Instead, Jungkook crouches a little so his eyes are level with mine. His expression is careful—not pitying, not forced. Just… present.
“Okay,” he says softly, like he actually means it. “Cab then?”
I hesitate, my fingers tightening around the strap of my bag.
“I know we barely know each other,” he continues, like he’s reading the swirl of panic in my chest. “So I won’t offer to drive you. But I can call a cab. One of the companies I trust. They’re discreet. Safer than calling some random app.”
My throat tightens.
This shouldn’t be this hard—saying yes to help. But my brain is spinning. My skin still feels too thin from earlier. From everything. And yet, the way he says it, like he’s handing me a choice instead of cornering me into one… it makes something in me ease. Just a little.
I nod. Barely.
He stands back up and pulls out his phone.
The silence stretches between us. Not uncomfortable. Not heavy. Just there.
He doesn’t fill it with words.
And I’m grateful for that.
I swipe at my cheeks again, trying to fix the damage, but I can feel the dried salt along my skin. I probably look like a wreck. Red-rimmed eyes, broken voice. Meanwhile, he’s standing here looking like a painting with bruises—too vivid, too unreal.
I shift awkwardly. “I’m sorry,” I mumble. “For… being like this.”
His brow furrows.
“Don’t do that.”
I blink, startled.
“Don’t apologize for feeling something.”
I open my mouth, but nothing comes out.
“Whatever it is you’re carrying,” he says, eyes never leaving mine, “you don’t owe anyone an explanation for it. Least of all me.”
And goddamn it—
That does it.
The tears threaten again, fast and hot, and I hate that he’s seeing it, hate that I’m breaking apart in front of someone I barely know, but also… some traitorous part of me is grateful he stayed. That he didn’t walk away the second things got messy.
His phone vibrates, and he glances down at it.
“Cab’s three minutes out,” he says. “Black Toyota. Plate ends in 52.”
I nod again, trying to gather the pieces of myself, trying not to fall apart in this alley outside a warehouse full of noise.
He doesn’t speak again.
But he doesn’t leave either.
We stand there in quiet, shoulder to shoulder but not touching. Close enough to feel his presence—warm, grounded, steady.
I don’t look at him.
But I feel his gaze on me, not heavy or invasive. Just aware. Like he’s keeping watch. Like I’m not alone for the first time in a long time.
And for some reason… that’s what almost breaks me.
Not the noise. Not the night.
But the kindness.
The softness in a place built for hard things.
I don’t know what this is. Or what it means.
But I know this much:
I won’t forget it.
Not tonight.
Not him.
Not the way he didn’t try to fix me.
Just stood close enough to make the silence feel safe.
The cab pulls up, headlights cutting through the haze of the alley. I turn to thank him one more time, my voice small, frayed at the edges.
“Thanks again. For… everything.”
Jungkook nods once, hands in the pockets of his hoodie, his bruised jaw catching the glow of a nearby streetlight. He doesn’t smile—not really—but there’s a softness in his eyes I hadn’t noticed before.
As I reach for the car door, he speaks—low and steady.
“Next time you see me…” His voice pauses like he’s picking his words carefully. “…don’t avoid me.”
It’s not a request. Not a demand either. Just… something in-between.
A truth offered.
I swallow hard and look at him, really look at him, the air thick between us.
I nod once.
And I get in the cab.
The ride home is quiet. My phone stays in my lap, untouched. The driver makes a couple polite comments, but I’m too far gone to answer. I keep replaying his words in my head.
Don’t avoid me.
He noticed. Somehow, he noticed I was trying to disappear.
By the time I reach my apartment, the exhaustion hits like a freight train. My body feels heavy. My mind is foggy.
I strip off the dress, drop it carefully onto the chair like it’s made of glass. Wipe off the makeup with shaking hands. My face feels raw without it, but also… clean.
I throw on a giant sweatshirt and fuzzy socks, the familiar cotton hugging all my softest parts. The mirror reflects someone who looks like she almost let the world see her—and didn’t die.
I fall into bed like gravity doubled, pulling me straight into the mattress. The last thought in my head is him.
And then nothing.
The next morning
It’s still early when I wake.
Too early.
But the light filtering through the blinds is soft and peach-colored, like the sky is still deciding what kind of day to be. I don’t usually do this—wake up before the world—but something feels different today.
Lighter.
Not good. Not fixed.
But less heavy.
I pad into the kitchen, make my usual coffee. Black, no sugar. The bitterness feels like a small punishment I’ve earned.
I open the balcony door and step outside into the cool morning air, hoodie sleeves pulled down over my hands. One cigarette, one lighter, one breath.
I sit down in the old rusted chair I thrifted years ago and take the first drag, then sip the coffee while the smoke curls up and disappears.
My phone buzzes.
Vicky 💜 Morning weirdo. You awake or still emotionally hungover?
I smirk, thumb tapping quickly.
me: Awake. Balcony. Smoking. Watching the world not fall apart. You?
Vicky: Laptop. Lecture in 30. Hair in a bun. No bra. We thrive.
She calls me seconds later.
I answer, camera off.
“Morning, professor.”
She groans. “Don’t. I already spilled soy milk on my notes and the Wi-Fi’s acting like it’s allergic to responsibility.”
I laugh, and she immediately softens.
“You sound better,” she says.
I stare out over the rooftops, watching the sun ease its way up over the buildings.
“I feel… less awful.”
“Want to talk about it?”
So I do.
All of it. From the moment I ducked into that bathroom and overheard those girls, to the way my brain spiraled out of control so fast it almost derailed the whole night.
“I know it was stupid,” I say quietly, flicking ash off the edge of the balcony. “Like… why did I let it get to me that bad?”
“Stop.” Her voice cuts in, firm but warm. “It wasn’t stupid.”
“I just—I felt like I was nothing again. Like I was thirteen, hiding in the locker room, praying no one noticed how much space I took up.”
Vicky sighs softly, the sound of her fingers clicking on keys in the background. “Y/N… you reacted like a person who’s lived through real pain. That’s not something you just… outgrow. It lingers. Triggers happen. Doesn’t make it less real just because it looks small from the outside.”
I blink hard, pressing my lips together.
“And,” she adds, voice sly now, “you didn’t let it ruin everything. You still showed up. You let someone help you.”
I hesitate.
“He called me a cab,” I admit, softer now. “After I told him I didn’t feel safe getting in a car with someone I barely knew. He just… listened. Said he’d order it for me if that’s what I wanted.”
There’s a pause.
Then a delighted gasp.
“Oh my God.”
“What?”
“That’s so hot. Are you kidding me? Gentleman behavior and emotional intelligence? Marry him immediately.”
I snort. “He’s just… I don’t know. He’s kind of terrifying. But also not? Like, he looks like he could ruin your life but also fold your laundry.”
Vicky cackles. “Danger with a heart. A classic. We love to see it.”
I smile, blowing out a stream of smoke and watching it fade into the sky. My chest still feels bruised, but not broken.
“He told me not to avoid him next time.”
“And are you going to?”
I pause.
Let the silence stretch.
Then quietly: “I don’t want to.”
Vicky hums. “That’s my girl.”
She sighs. “Okay. Gotta go pretend I’m an expert in child development now. But I love you. And I’m proud of you. Seriously.”
I nod, even though she can’t see me.
“Love you too.”
She hangs up.
And I sit there for a while, cigarette gone, coffee cold, but heart just a little warmer than yesterday.
Maybe next time… I won’t run.
Maybe next time… I’ll let him see me.
Really see me.
Even the parts I’m still learning to look at myself.
I’m still on the balcony, staring at the last swirl of smoke disappearing into the sky when my phone buzzes again.
Katherine 🖤 Hey girl. You okay? You left kinda abruptly last night.
My heart skips a beat.
I pull my hoodie tighter around my arms and unlock my phone with a thumbprint I wish could delete anxiety.
me: Yeah. I just wasn’t feeling great. Needed some air.
She replies almost immediately, like she’s been waiting.
Katherine 🖤: That’s what Jungkook said. He told everyone you weren’t feeling well and called you a cab. Total protector mode 🥺
My stomach flips.
He told them?
I can’t decide if that makes me want to curl up and die or… smile.
me: Wait—he told you that?
Katherine 🖤: Girl. The second someone asked where you went, he just said “She wasn’t feeling well. I got her home safe.” Dead serious. And then he dipped.
me: He left?
Katherine 🖤: Yup. Like 10 minutes after you. Wouldn’t even take a drink. Just left. Honestly? Kind of hot.
My blush hits hard and fast, warming my cheeks like I just stepped into a furnace. I pull my knees up on the chair, hiding behind the ceramic coffee mug like it might cool me down.
Katherine 🖤: Also… I got laid 😇
I blink. Hard.
me: WHAT???
Katherine 🖤: Yeahhhh. One of Jungkook’s friends. Tall, dimpled, criminally good at neck kisses. Literally the best sex of my life. Like I think I astral projected at one point??
me: Oh my god, Katherine.
Katherine 🖤: Don’t “oh my god” me. You’re the one who got rescued by a bruised, tattooed underground prince and rode home in a cab he summoned like a damn knight.
me: I rode home. You rode a man.
Katherine 🖤: LMAOOOOOO okay point for you. But still. How are we in the same city and you get the brooding fighter who leaves parties early for you?
I bite my lip, trying to smother the growing smile, but it’s useless.
Jungkook.
The way he stood there in that alley.
The way he didn’t push, didn’t question, just… saw me. Called a cab. Stayed until I was safe. Told them I wasn’t feeling well so I wouldn’t have to explain myself later.
And then left.
For me?
Katherine 🖤: Just saying… if you don’t text him, I might.
I roll my eyes, thumbs already moving.
me: Back off. He’s terrifying and possibly capable of reading minds.
Katherine 🖤: Perfect. He can hear me thinking you better text her, you emotionally unavailable legend.
I laugh, clutching the mug to my chest as the city wakes up around me.
Something about today feels different.
Not fixed.
Not perfect.
But maybe… like the beginning of something.
Like maybe I'm allowed to be seen.
Bruised, messy, soft, and still worthy.
And maybe the boy who left early to make sure I got home safe... maybe he saw that too.

The Story of The Submissive, ft. tripleS Mayu
Tumblr media
tags: dom-sub kink, creampie, breeding
length: 5k+
-
“Mayu, my love, my baby,” you call to her out loud as you look around the house for her.
“One second!” You hear her voice coming from the bedroom, and before long, she appears from behind the door. “Yes, daddy?” You tell her about your plan to take her to lunch at Keller’s. “Keller’s? Really?” Mayu can barely contain her excitement at the prospect of going to that restaurant again. “What did I do to deserve lunch at Keller’s, daddy—I mean, I haven’t even pleased you with my body yet.” You smile lovingly. “This isn’t a reward for your good deeds, baby; I just want to make it up to you for being away.”
Mayu’s gaze drifts away from yours, but even with her head tilted down, you can still see her red cheeks. “W-well, t-thank you, daddy.” Before she melts even more, you send her away to get dressed. She immediately enters the bedroom again, slamming the door rather loudly as she does. “I’ll dress prettily for you, daddy!” You laugh a little. “I mean, you’re already so pretty.” Even if you can’t see her, you just know she’s blushing again. “I’ll be waiting in the car, alright?”
Not long after, you see her stepping out of the house in a plain white blouse and black trousers with a black-and-white cardigan in one hand and her favorite handbag in the other. Before she gets in the car, she asks if you approve of her choice of outfit. “If it were up to me, I’d have you not wear anything,” you attempt to flirt. “But that view is reserved for your eyes only, daddy,” she manages to counter. You chuckle at her witty reply. “Good answer—now, get in the car, please.”
You arrive at Keller’s after around 15 minutes of driving. “How come there’s no traffic when you’re driving, daddy?” You chuckle. “These people know better than to slow me down.”
You get out of the car with Mayu, and after giving your key to the valet guy, you enter the restaurant with your arm tangled with hers. “It’s crowded,” she blurts, disappointment thick in her voice. “Yeah, well, have you forgotten who we are and where we are?” She nods as realization settles in her mind. “Ah, you’re right, daddy.”
You mention your name to the staff member who’s stationed near the entrance, and his reaction is a polite smile. “It’s great to have you here again, sir,” he says. “If I may, have you and the miss been well?” You nod with a smile on your face. “We have—thanks for asking.” The smile on his face grows wider. “Wonderful to hear, sir.”
The staff member guides you to the private dining area that’s reserved for you and your family. “We recently developed a new cheesecake recipe, sir,” he says as you and Mayu are taking your seats. “Would you like to try it?” You defer the choice to Mayu since she’s the one who’s fond of this type of food, and she accepts the offer without thinking twice. “Wonderful, your cheesecake will arrive shortly.”
Mayu waits until the guy disappears behind the door before she pulls her phone out of her bag. You look at it as it glides closer towards you with its screen facing down. “F-for you, daddy.” A low chuckle escapes your lips—the vibrator remote app is currently open when you flip the phone over. “I assume it’s positioned properly inside you, then?” Mayu bites her lip. “Y-yes, a-and I promise I won’t make a mess.”
A subtle buzz starts circling around the room along with her soft moans. “Are you this desperate for a release?” Her cheeks are red as she nods. “I-I know you hate it—oh, God—I know you hate it when I touch myself without your permission, s-so…” Mayu trails off, unable to continue her speech because of the sensation between her legs. “So, you want me to make you cum?” Her blush thickens. “P-please, daddy; p-play with me for a bit.”
You keep your eye on Mayu as you play with the intensity of the vibrator through the app. She keeps biting down her lip to prevent herself from making too much noise. “No, don’t,” you say. “No one will disturb us, so just let it go.” Mayu nods at your words, letting moans flow more freely out of her lips.
“D-daddy,” she calls to you in a tiny voice. “D-do that thing, please.” Your eyebrow rises. “Are you sure?” Mayu nods as she parts her legs wider. “Please, daddy.” You take off one shoe and put your foot between her thighs, your toes right against the wet spot on her panties, and Mayu starts grinding her crotch against them. “I-I’m such a dirty slut, grinding against my daddy’s foot like this,” she blurts between moans. “B-but I’m your slut, r-right, daddy?” You chuckle. “Whether you can maintain that status depends on your performance in the next few minutes.” Mayu nods again. “O-of course, daddy.”
Mayu picks up the intensity of her movements, showing more eagerness to please you and herself. “Oh, daddy, daddy, daddy,” she chants. “Why did you leave me—you know I can’t last a minute without you.” Love and patience radiate from your smile. “I mean, someone has to provide for the both of us, right?” She sighs. “B-but you could’ve taken me along.”
As you get ready to say something back, a knock is heard from the door. “That must be the cheesecake.” You quickly remove your foot from her crotch before signaling to whoever it is that they’re allowed to enter.
“Excuse me, sir and madam,” a server appears with a tray in his hands, “management is kindly asking you to try our latest cheesecake recipe.” You ask if it’s a different cheesecake than the one you were promised earlier, and he says yes. “There are two different types here, sir, and we would be glad if you would kindly try them both.” You nod. “My lady here will be the judge—I’m not too well-versed in such food,” you say.
The server leaves your dining room after setting two slices of cheesecake on your table. “Sweetheart, cum first or cheesecake first?” Despite being tempted by the food in front of her, Mayu chooses to finish first before trying it out, so you help her by increasing the intensity of the vibrator to its maximum capabilities. “Remember to not make a mess,” you remind her.
With a scream, Mayu comes undone, her weak body melting into the chair. You stay silent for a few minutes as you wait if she’ll make a mess, and thankfully for her, she’s not. “Good job, baby; I’ll be sure to reward you later.” Hearing the word reward excites her. “Yes, I deserve a reward from my daddy.”
You urge Mayu to start digging into the cheesecake since you guess that Keller’s management would like to hear some feedback soon. “They’re both good,” Mayu says after tasting them both. “I think I like the new one better, though.” You ask her to write down her thoughts on a piece of paper so you can pass it on to someone else later.
“Baby,” you call to her. “I want to try it too—y’know, with some… extras.” Mayu blushes. “U-understood, daddy.” She reaches down towards her still-quivering pussy, scooping some of her juice with a spoon. “F-fresh from the source just for you, daddy.” You can’t contain the excitement inside you as you take the spoon from her. You then use it to pick up a bit of cheesecake and put it in your mouth. “Oh, yeah,” you sigh in pleasure, “your juice makes it even better.” Mayu looks down at the table, too embarrassed to look at you in the eyes. “T-thank you, daddy; I-I’m glad you find it pleasurable.”
-
“Is there anywhere else you want to visit while we’re out here?” Mayu taps her chin as she thinks about her options. “Oh, erm,” she’s already blushing again, “c-can we make a stop at the… boutique?” You chuckle. “What, you want to get something new again?” She nods shyly. “T-the owner sent me s-s-sent me pictures of the new things they have, a-and I think… erm…” She trails off, unable to finish her sentence. “Yeah, okay, I suppose we can make a stop there.”
After another short drive, you find yourself sitting in the parking lot of the boutique. “Before we get inside,” you say. “Put the vibrator inside you again; you’ll have it running while we shop.” Mayu nods obediently, reaching for the egg-like toy in her handbag. She moans as her lower lips are parted gently by the toy. “It’s in, daddy.” You smile. “Now, try to not make a mess in the boutique.”
You let Mayu browse for the items by herself while you opt to look around somewhere else. A particular set of lingerie catches your fancy; the wine-red and black combination would look so good on Mayu. “Fuck, I’d lose my mind if she wore this,” you think. Before you start getting a boner, you quickly shift your gaze away from it—wouldn’t want to be caught with a hard dick in public, would you?
Mayu taps your shoulder from behind, and when you turn around, you see that she has chosen a lingerie and a negligee. “What do you think, daddy?” You shake your head. “Go find something that’s made of silk.” She pouts a little, disappointed by your disapproval, but she obeys, nonetheless. “Hey, I mean, if you like it that much, you can get them.” She squeals. “Yes, thank you, daddy!”
You say to Mayu that you will be waiting for her in the car to avoid getting horny from your own imaginations. “Here, use my card—think of it as a reward for your good show earlier at the restaurant.” She blushes. “Oh, you don’t have to be so kind, daddy.” Mayu gets on the tip of her toes to peck you on the cheek. “I promise you’ll be so pleased with my choices.”
Before long, Mayu steps out of the shop with a bag in her hand. “Where to now,” you ask. Mayu says she wants to try on the stuff she just bought, so your next destination is home (well, the bedroom, to be more precise). “Let’s go home, then.”
-
Mayu beelines towards the bedroom and locks the door behind her. “I’m not allowed to enter?” “Not until I tell you to,” she yells from the other side. While she takes her time to do whatever, you wait for her on the sofa, getting on your phone to see if there’s an update with work.
You see her reflection on the turned-off TV as she walks out of the bedroom, so you turn around to look at her. “So, erm, what do you think, daddy?” You scan her from top to bottom: she’s wearing a red-and-black negligee (that has a see-through part over the tummy area) and matching panties. Not only that, but her nipples are also poking through the material. “You’re perfect in red, baby.” Mayu bites her lip to stop herself from squealing at your praise. “Thank you for letting me buy this, daddy.”
You ask Mayu to spin around so you can inspect her looks further, and she gleefully does as you ask. “Now, the most important thing,” you say, and a blush returns to her cheeks. She moves to bend over your lap, presenting her most private parts to you. You move her lace panties to the side, and you notice something.
“Don’t you think you’re forgetting something, sweetie?”
Mayu shudders at your words, especially at the way you say the endearment.
“A-apologies, daddy, b-but I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
You place a finger on her tight, puckered hole. “What about now?” Realization quickly settles in her mind; she’s forgotten about your instructions to have her anus plugged when she’s with you. “B-but I did have the plug in me—I-I just took it out w-when I put on this lingerie.” Mayu desperately hopes that you’re willing to hear reason, but she’s only met with a sigh.
“To the bedroom.”
Mayu weakly lifts her body off your lap wordlessly while fear of punishment clouds her mind. You enter the bedroom after her and are met with the sight of her sitting on her folded legs on the floor. “Daddy, please,” she begs. “Look, the plug is right there.” You look at what she’s pointing at: the metallic butt plug is indeed amongst the clothes she went out in.
“Bend over.”
Tears pool in Mayu’s eyes as she thinks that you’re still going to punish her anyway. Despite that, she bends over until her butt is higher than her shoulders. She sobs when your palm makes contact with her plump flesh. Mayu closes her eyes when you lift your hand, and—
“Relax, my love; I’m not going to punish you this time.”
Mayu falls flat limply onto the floor and just cries. “T-thank you, daddy; I-I swear I wasn’t trying to disobey.” You keep rubbing her butt gently as she cries to her heart’s content. “You’re alright, love; I’m sure it was just a simple forgetfulness.” She gathers her strength and jumps onto your lap. “I’m so sorry, daddy. I’m so sorry,” she wails. You pepper her head with pecks. “You’re alright, baby, I promise.”
Once she’s calmed down, Mayu reaches for the plug and shows it to you. “P-put this in me, daddy, please.” You ask if she’s down for anal later. “I-I’m always down for anything; my purpose is to serve and please you.”
You reach around her back, running the metal plug on her back for extra dramatic effect. “Breathe, sweetie.” You gently push the plug past her tight ring, letting her muscles adapt and suck it in. “Always such a good girl, hm?” She hides her face in the crook of your neck. “Only for you, daddy.”
-
You’ve received a last-minute invite to dinner from a business partner who said he wanted to celebrate his wife’s return from coma.
“Mayu, sweetheart,” you call to her. You immediately hear the subtle sound of her steps as she approaches you. “Yes, daddy?” You tell her about the invitation to dinner, and disappointment appears on her face. “B-but… I thought we would have tonight to ourselves—y-you even plugged my anus,” she says, her gaze drifting away from yours. Guilt washes over you. “I’m sorry, sweetheart, but we have a good reason to postpone our session tonight.” Mayu can only nod at your words. “Understood, daddy—I, erm, I’ll get ready now.”
You look at Mayu as she walks away from you and towards the bedroom with less-excited body language. “I’m sorry, sweetheart,” you say, and she only nods in response. Mayu glances at you with teary eyes before turning her focus away from you again. “You’ll have me tonight, I promise.” She stops right before the bedroom door. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”
Your heart is stung; a few days ago, you promised Mayu that the trip would only take two days, three days maximum, only to end up apologizing for having to extend the trip.
You follow her to the bedroom, and when you enter, you see her sitting on the edge of the bed, crying. You kneel in front of her, holding her hands for extra comfort factor. “Love, I’m sorry, but Chaehyun-ie just woke up a few days ago, and we’re invited to reunite with her and Jaehwan-ie.” Mayu nods, still unable to calm herself down. “I-I know,” she sniffles, “I-I’m sorry, I-I didn’t mean to be selfish.” You put a palm on her cheek, and Mayu subsequently rubs her cheek against it. “I-I’ll get changed after this, daddy.”
After making sure that she’s calm enough, you leave the bedroom to give her space to change—well, at least that was the plan; Mayu is holding onto your wrist, begging you to stay. “I-I need to see you, daddy—you’re my purpose,” she reasons.
You take a seat on the edge of the bed while she digs through the wardrobe to find something proper to wear. “Remember, love: this is a casual meeting.” Her hand stops at a turtleneck sweater. “Yes, that and some trousers will look good on you,” you express your approval. Mayu slips out of her home clothes, and when she bends down, you’re reminded of her plug situation. “Do you want to take that out, or?” Mayu shakes her head, saying that she wants to stay ready. It is nice to hear that she’s still committed. “Alright, baby, if you say so.”
After she changes, you slip into a navy shirt and combine it with cream trousers. “Y-you’re wearing those pants again,” she comments with a subtle blush on her face. You look in the mirror to see what’s wrong. Aside from the obvious bulge in the crotch area, you think that this combination is fine. “Do you want me to change?” Once again, Mayu says no. “I challenge you to not get hard while we’re out tonight, daddy,” she says, her voice sultry. You chuckle. “I mean, as long as you don’t tease me too much, I believe I’ll be just fine.” She shrugs. “Well, I can’t promise anything.”
-
You’re now stopped in Jaehwan’s driveway next to his parked car. You and Mayu proceed to get out of the car to greet the man of the house who’s been waiting for your arrival. “Hey, man,” you pull him into a friendly hug, “first of all, congratulations.” He pats you on the back, grateful for your kind words. “It’s been so crazy recently,” he says, adding a chuckle at the end.
Jaehwan then lets go of the hug to greet Mayu. “Have you been well, Miss Koma?” It’s a habit of him to refer to Mayu by that name after learning about her background. She smiles. “I’ve been really well—what about Chaehyun-ie, though?” He sighs. “I mean, aside from the amnesia, she’s been well.” Shock crosses your and Mayu’s face. “A-amnesia?” Jaehwan sighs. “Well, it’s probably best for you to meet her now.”
“Love, the guests are here,” Jaehwan announces to his wife. “Ah, your friends?” His soft peck lands on Chaehyun’s lips. “They’re our friends, love,” he corrects her. You and Mayu take turns to greet Chaehyun who is smiling through it all. “Thank you for coming, guys,” she says, and you’re doubtful whether she indeed has amnesia.
The four of you sit in a circle at the dining table. “I’m so sorry, but I don’t remember the two of you—if you’d so kindly tell me your names?” Well, there goes your doubt; there would be no other way for Chaehyun to forget your names considering your closeness to her other than amnesia. “Ah, my name is Mayu—Koma Mayu, but I think that will soon change,” Mayu introduces herself while simultaneously hinting at something else.
While Mayu’s introduction was rather short, yours is a bit longer. Not only are you introducing yourself again, but you also tell the history of the four of you to Chaehyun. From meeting in the student council during university to eventually getting close through the years. “If our businesses could help each other, we would work together without thinking twice,” you add, emphasizing the level of trust between the four of you.
As you’re about to continue the story, a ding is heard from the kitchen. “Ah, one second.” Chaehyun beelines to the kitchen after putting on an apron. You look at the baking tray she’s pulling out of the oven. You can’t make out what it is, but it is packed to the brim with food. The food disappears behind Chaehyun’s body as she prepares serving it, but the fragrant smell fills the room, nonetheless.
Soon, Chaehyun is on her way back with a plate of food in her hands. “We’re having tuna casserole tonight,” she announces. Jaehwan fleetingly kisses his wife in praise for her hard work. “I hope everyone likes it.” Mayu looks to be the one who is most excited about this. “I just know this is going to be so good,” she says. Chaehyun grins. “Let’s eat, then.”
-
Mayu sheds her clothes as she steps into the house, leaving them scattered in her trails. “Daddy, why aren’t you undressing?” You chuckle as you reach for the first button of your shirt. “Alright, alright, damn—why are you so eager all of a sudden?” Mayu stops in her tracks and turns to you with fiery eyes. “You owe the rest of the night to me, daddy, and I intend to collect that debt.” You sigh. “Baby, we had a good cause to—” You’re interrupted when she presses a finger against your lips. “Yes, I know, now let’s put that behind us and look ahead.”
Mayu drags you to the bedroom with one hand while the other is reaching for her dripping sex. She has you sit on the edge of the bed and offers you her fingers that are coated with her proof of arousal. “Quality control, daddy, as usual.” You take a quick lick. “Yes, good as usual.” Mayu sighs in relief. “Hah, thank God. I thought I would taste bad after dinner.”
Mayu gets down on her knees in front of you, placing her hands on your thighs. Her aroused expression—wide eyes and slightly open lips—keeps your own arousal at a steady level. “Daddy, before we start,” she says. “Is there anything you want me to do?” You shake your head. “I think you can start collecting my debt right away.” She smirks. “What about the interest?” You chuckle. “I’m in quite the good mood tonight; I’ll pay plenty of interest.” Mayu giggles, her cheeks painted subtle pink. “Always a pleasure to do business with you, daddy.”
Mayu signals to you to take off your shirt while she undoes your belt and zipper. Once the rustles settle, you’re now laid bare in front of her, the same way she’s laid bare in front of you. “Ah, I just remembered something,” she pauses her strokes on your cock, “we haven’t gotten around doing that free use arrangement.” You nod. “I suppose we can look to clear our schedules,” you say. Mayu looks up at you with her pinky extended. “Yes, pinky promise.”
With the exchange of promises out of the way, Mayu begins her oral ministrations; she starts off with the thing she loves the most: dragging her tongue on the underside of your shaft. “Mm, always so big,” she mumbles.
Mayu proceeds to put the tip of your cock in her mouth, looking up at you through her eyebrows to make sure you’re looking right back at her. You give her a nod, and with it, Mayu sinks her mouth deeper into your cock. “Off to a good start, baby,” you praise her. Enthused by your words, she forces herself to take more of your cock until her nose is pressed against your pelvis.
Feeling your cock twitch, she starts bobbing her head along your shaft, occasionally letting her teeth graze the skin of your cock. Nothing painful, yet enough to send shivers down your spine. You let out a deep sigh in reflex. Mayu removes you from her warm mouth so she can stroke your shaft. “I know you’re close,” she teases. “Why don’t you fuck my mouth and send your cum right into my tummy, daddy?”
Mayu grins when your hand settles on the back of her head, knowing full well that the gesture only leads to one thing and one thing only: you, fucking her mouth without letting her breathe. “Go on, daddy,” she urges, sticking her tongue out for good measure.
Mayu licks the underside of your shaft when it first enters her mouth as a welcome, but that soon stops when you force her to take more of your length. She fights the urge to gag until tears well up in her eyes, not wanting to show weakness in front of you. However, it’s getting harder to not gag when the tip of your cock is poking the deepest parts of her cavity.
As the mouth-fucking progresses, Mayu decides that it’s best to simply surrender to you and let you take control. After all, it’s not like she has any other choice when your hand is gripping her hair; she can only stay on her knees and pray that you come soon.
She feels your grip on her hair tighten, signaling your impending climax. “Yes, give it to me,” she thinks. Mayu swallows greedily, not letting a single drop go to waste. After your cock stops spurting semen out, she pulls away, wiping her saliva off her chin with the back of her hand.
With the last bit of her strength, Mayu climbs onto your lap. “L-let me prepare you for round two, daddy.” She guides your half-limp cock into her pussy to keep it warm until you’re ready again. “Well, at this rate, it won’t take long until I’m hard again,” you quip. Mayu lets out a small chuckle. “Of course, daddy.”
You grow harder by the second, and knowing this, Mayu starts to grind her crotch against yours. “What do I do now, daddy? How can I please you?” You ask if she’s down to ride you. “Why, of course,” she smirks naughtily, “I love riding you, daddy, you know this.”
With a moan, Mayu turns around without removing you from her warm wetness, showing you her plump butt. She looks at you over her shoulder. “Are we ready?” You nod. “For you, always.”
Mayu looks forwards again, straight into the tall mirror in front of her. The sight of your cock nestled in her pussy makes her bite her lip. “Fuck, I’m so hot,” she thinks. She jolts when she feels you pinch her butt cheek. “Okay, okay, I’m starting now.”
Still keeping her eyes on her reflection, Mayu starts to ride you at a leisurely pace, savoring the delicious stretch of her pussy. “Mmh, yes,” she mumbles. Her gaze then drifts towards your perfect balls; they look so full of hot, sticky cum that will surely knock her up if she was fertile. “One day, daddy—I’ll carry your child one day.”
Returning her focus to the task, Mayu plants her feet on the carpeted floor and only moves her hips while fixing her hands on your knees for stability support. “Oh, fuck, there you go,” she hears you say. She’s glad that you approve of this approach, and to show gratefulness, Mayu makes sure to take the entirety of your shaft with every hip-drop for maximum pleasure. The heavy groans she hears from you confirm that you’re enjoying this, thus causing a proud smile to appear across her features.
Initially lost in lust, Mayu’s eyes suddenly snaps open when her brain signals that her orgasm is rapidly approaching. “Close, baby girl?” Your low voice sends shivers down her back. “Y-yes, daddy—p-please let me cum.” Without saying anything back, you start thrusting upwards to help her reach the finish line, and your efforts are met with loud, encouraging moans. “Yes, daddy, just like that!”
Mayu lifts her hips at the right time as her quivering pussy sprays all over the place, wetting everything it touches. She struggles to keep herself upright; her shaking legs are getting too weak to support her frame. Eventually, with a thud, her knees land on the carpet. Feeling bad for seeing Mayu panting on the floor while on her knees, you lift her in your arms and help her lie on the mattress.
You’re alright, sweetheart; you’ve done so well for me,” you praise her. A smile of gratefulness stretches over her face. “T-thank you, daddy,” she says with ragged breaths. “T-thank you for everything, n-not just tonight.” A soft peck lands on her forehead. “I love you, my sweet.”
After getting down from the high of orgasm, Mayu rolls onto her tummy, presenting her bubble butt before your eyes. You ask if she has anything particular that she wants to try, and she replies, “Just pick one hole and fill it, daddy.” Your eyes promptly drift towards her anus, the tightest one among the two options which has been stretched just enough by the plug she had had earlier. “Thinking about taking my ass, daddy?” Mayu is always quick to catch on to your intentions. “I mean, can you blame me for being so in lust when you’re that tight back there?” Mayu giggles. “No, not really—eh, actually, I would blame you if I had trouble pooping after.” You laugh a little. “Of course, I’m willing to take responsibility.”
Mayu urges you to take action by lifting her butt and wiggling it, so act you do. You quickly take a position behind her, teasing her by running the tip of your shaft across her entrances. “Please, just stick it in somewhere, daddy,” she begs, getting impatient. You firmly tug at her sprawled hair. “Look at you, baby; you’re so eager to get fucked and filled.” Mayu looks at her reflection in the mirror and chuckles.
“I mean, can you blame me—oh, God, fuck.”
Before she can finish her sentence, you stick the tip of your cock in her pussy.
“I’m going to breed you, baby girl.”
Mayu’s face lights up. The prospect of finally getting bred excites her a lot. “Am I finally worthy, daddy? Am I worthy to carry your seed?” A rough slam into her is your answer. “Oh, yes, please breed me, daddy.”
Mayu can’t keep her eyes on her reflection anymore, as all she can think about is how she looks forward to having her insides get flooded—perhaps even overflowed—by your hot semen. Mayu is reduced to moans, as all she can feel is her pussy getting stuffed by your cock.
“Please, daddy,” she mumbles inaudibly, her voice muffled by the mattress. “Please put your baby in me, daddy.”
She doesn’t care whether you can hear her pleas or not; as long as you’re still fucking her at this pace with this type of fervor, she’s content with being on the receiving end.
Mayu is lost in pleasure, but the way your shaft suddenly throbs inside her snaps her out of the lustful trance. “Yes, yes, please,” she begs again. “Please fill me—make me carry your seed, daddy!”
-
Mayu wakes up before you, and after stretching around to get her consciousness together, she makes her way to the bathroom. She sits on the toilet with a pregnancy tester between her legs, and since it’s been a few days since the breeding session, Mayu is optimistic that it’s possible to discover whether she’s pregnant.
Mayu gasps in a mix of shock and excitement when she sees two lines on the tester. “W-we did it,” she mumbles. “I-I’m… pregnant.”
After getting cleaned up, Mayu rushes towards the bedroom to tell you about her recent discovery.
“Daddy, daddy,” she repeatedly slaps your arm to get you to wake up, “please, I have something to show you.”
You gather your strength to sit, and Mayu puts the tester in your hand, letting you see for yourself. “I-I’m pregnant with your child, daddy,” she begins breaking down into tears, “c-can you believe it?” Remnants of your sleep instantly fade away at the news. “You’re not joking, aren’t you?” She shakes her head vehemently. “No, I’m not; I’m actually pregnant.”
Mayu, feeling overwhelmed with emotions, lets her body crash into yours. “T-thank you, daddy—I will be a good mother for our child, I promise.” You wrap your arms more tightly around the sobbing woman. “I know you will be, my love, and thank you for blessing me with a child.”

The light is there again. Bright, green, searing into your vision as it shines against the wall, weaving in perfectly between the curtains. Every night. Taunting you. And in the morning, gone.
Can you call it a pattern after only three days?
You don’t know what to call it. You don’t know what he wants from you. If he wanted to hurt you, he would by now, wouldn’t he? Or is this a sick game he’s playing? Whatever it is, it’s madness.
You sit up and grab your pillow. You cross the room to the door and close it behind you. You put the pillow on the couch and pull down the folded throw across the back. You don’t expect to sleep out here either but you won’t have to stare at the insufferable dot.
You lay down on your back and sigh at the ceiling. You stare up at the plaster until your eyes close on their own. Your shoulders are tense, your back too, every muscle in you has been knotted for days. You tried a hot shower, even a bath, but both just made you feel vulnerable. You’ve never been overly comfortable being naked but now you feel as if he can see your every movement.
You tried some exercises in an effort to loosen up too. Those only made you dizzy due to your lack of sleep and rationing. Those should be a sign for you to rethink your strategy but your only other option is to face the danger. You know better than that.
You huff as the last gray days pile on you. You open your eyes and bring your hand up to your forehead, trying to rub away the stress. You pause as a gleam flashes over your flesh. You drop your arm back down and raise yourself on your elbows.
Jeez.
Right there in the middle of your chest is the dot, rather a sliver of it. You look up as it glints in between the verticle blinds. You drop back down. Fine, whatever, if he’s going to shoot, he should just get it over with. You hate this limbo. It’s easy when you know what you’re waiting for. This is just torture.
A sudden jarring jingle cuts through the din. You sit up, heart beating. It isn’t the deafening gunshot you expected. The green laser ripples through the darkness as you stagger up to your feet and cover your ears. You follow the blaring noise into the bedroom.
Your phone lights up on your nightstand, flashing as you cross the space. You grab it and quickly silence it, staring at the screen in confusion. You keep your phone on silent, always. You never really use it for more than your banking and emails. On the screen, you see a map of your neighbourhood and a speck pulsing at the centre; your apartment. Huh.
You remember dismissing that feature before. Several times when you got the phone it kept offering to set up the ‘find your phone’ app but you figured you wouldn’t need it. Yet, here it is, chiming and chirping at you. It isn’t a coincidence. It’s him.
You peer over at the window and the green glare pours through. You look down again and find the dot right there. You shake your head and back away, hugging yourself as you flee back into the living room. It’s all so messed up and confusing. You don’t get how this can be happening.
You go into the kitchen. No windows to haunt you there. You put your phone down and lean on the counter as you hold your head. You blow out a breath and you close your eyes.
You try not to let yourself ask the questions but you’re so tired, you can’t keep fighting this hard. Who is he? How did he find you? Was that day at the cafe the first? Were you so obtuse that you never noticed him before? Does any of it matter?
The silence shatters again as your phone erupts in a cacophony once more. You back away and cup your ears. You’ve never done well with noise, especially loud noise, or too much at once. It’s a sort of dissonance that makes your head spin.
You scramble to grasp the phone, eardrums pulsing, and you hit the button again to hush it. You close out of the app and a notification pops up at the top of the screen. For a moment, you’re confused. The only messages you get are obvious scammers or stupid adverts you need to unsubscribe from.
‘Get some beauty sleep.’
You scowl as you stare at the text. What does that even mean? Even if the number is private, you don’t need to guess. You know it’s him. He’s messing with you. You won’t respond, not even in writing. You delete the conversation entirely and shut the phone off.
You leave it on the counter and go back to the couch. The laser awaits you. You lay down under it and resign yourself to your fate. The only comfort is he’s still out there and you’re in here. A ripple of fear courses through you as you wonder how long that can last.
👄
Your mail doesn’t come to your door. It’s left in one of the dozens of metal boxes near the front door. Typically you go down to grab it twice a week. You haven’t gone once in the last six days. You don’t plan on it either. You get digital statements for everything anyhow.
Yet, that doesn’t stop the special delivery from sliding underneath the door. You’re in your kitchen when you hear the soft whoosh. You go to the doorway and stare at the envelope on your floor as you lazily stir your instant coffee. You’re too tired to react with more than a yawn.
You think it could be a notice from the building. They usually leave one when they have to do an inspection. Yet, there’s not sign of the rental companies logo and the envelope is black. You doubt they’ve rebranded.
You sip from your coffee and sit at your desk. You login to the portal and open up a task. You don’t need to worry about all that. You muster all you have left for your daily toil. It’s the one thing you can’t forego; the one thing you share in common with other people, you need money to survive.
You empty the coffee with careless gulps as you key through several tasks. The hours drag by, the clock ticking in the corner of the screen, second by second, minute by grueling minute. The days don’t matter, they all blend together in this hazy purgatory.
You’re drawn from your mindless typing by the agonising growl of your stomach. You’re starving. Those times when you do let yourself eat, it isn’t much. Finally, your humanly needs have overcome your lack of appetite. You can’t deny it any longer.
You return to the kitchen with your empty mug. You go to rinse it and water spurts forth, for just a second, then the pipes grind and run dry. You put the cup in the sink and cross your arm. You march out to the bathroom and try the sink in there with the same result. The faucet in the tub runs a little longer but peters out to a single drip.
Hm, maybe that’s what the letter’s about.
You sweep back out and scoop up the envelope. Just bending down makes you see stars. You put it on the counter and go to the cupboard to take out the salted crackers. You unfurl the top of the sleeve and wiggle one out. You munch on the stale square and slip your thumb under the flap of the envelop and tear.
You put down the crackers and rip open one end of the envelope. You shake out the contents. It isn’t a letter. Just a folded pamphlet with something smaller inside. You unfold the spa booklet to uncover the all-inclusive pass within. You drop both and grip your head.
Is this some sort of bribe? Bait? He’s trying to draw you out and with what? The worst experience you could think of? The smells, the touching, the people...
You put it all back in the envelope. You don’t want it. You don’t even want it in your apartment. Your safe space. He’s invading it little by little. He can’t have it.
You go to the door and shove it back under the bottom. You push it as far as you can and fall back, catching yourself on the wall. Your head hurts, you’re tired, you’re stressed, you’re afraid. You just want everything to go back the way it was. You want to be alone. That’s all you ever wanted.
👄
You use your phone to authorise the two-factor sign-in to your bank account. You set it aside after confirming and wait for the screen to load. Your heart nearly stops as you see the balance. A few times you came too close to the red but this is not what you’re expecting. There’s about fifty thousand dollars extra. It has to be an error.
You click on your chequing and bring up the next screen. There is is ‘50,000’ in bold green letters but it doesn’t say where it’s come from, just ‘authorised payment’ next to it. What the heck does that mean?
Right below it you see your work deposit. That appears as usual. Company name, amount, account number. So what happened?
You click the chat icon at the bottom of the page and wait for an agent to connect. You go through the typical automated questions; what is your issue? Account number? All of that. When you finally have a representative and explain the extra zeros in your account, the response is only three dots.
You shake your head. You don’t need this. You have enough going on. Your water’s still out, you’re almost out of coffee, and you haven’t even started work. Halfway through and it feels like you’ve only just started a new week. You frame your face as you await the response.
‘Hello, miss. Thank you for your patience. We have found no error in this transfer.’
You lean back and whine. That doesn’t make sense.
‘Can I know where the money came from?’ You type.
‘The payee is listed as London Fog LLC. It appears to be a business payment.’
You close your eyes. What? That makes no sense. It... can’t be.
‘Can you reverse the payment, please?’ You input.
‘We can attempt to reverse this. This might take a few days to process. We will keep the ticket open until this is done.’
‘Thank you.’
You close out the chat. That’s as best as you can do. It’s all so weird and you can’t deny the nagging truth. It’s not an error or a coincidence. It’s that stranger. He is playing a very confusing game.
Your phone lights up and your eyes flit down. You lean in to glimpse the notification before it minimises. ‘Happy hump day <3’. You quickly black out the screen and flip it over. Leave me alone!
👄
You almost expect the knock on your door. Deep down, you knew it was coming. Noon, on the dot. It’s Wednesday.
“London Fog express!” He calls through. “Ew, this one’s gone a bit bad.”
You hear him shifting around before the handle turns without give. He wiggles it and sighs. He huffs and you can tell by his shadow he’s leaning on the door.
“Look, jellybean, I came all the way here, even burnt myself on this thing,” he says through the door, “you know, I’ve had some late nights...” he pauses as you sit silent, unmoving at your desk. “You don’t have to do more than open the door and take the cup. Promise, I won’t try nothing. I mean, I’ve been pretty patient, haven’t I?”
You press your fingers to the edge of your desk to keep from shaking.
“Right, I guess... I haven’t even introduced myself. How forgetful. Name’s Lloyd, but you could call me like L or love bear or... snookums. Something sweet like that.”
You can’t. You’re going to pass out from absurdity. This man is psychotic.
“You know, I’m a pretty handsy—handy guy. I could fix that water issue you got going on--”
Holy cow. How does he know—how could he? He wouldn’t be able to just shut off your water. Right?
“See, I get you, baby face, you’re the quiet type. You like to keep to yourself. That’s fair but everyone needs someone. I see that now,” he rambles through the door as it groans against his lean, “I didn’t before. Then I saw you and everything changed. It’s me and you, cupcake.”
You stand and shudder, walking stiffly around the corner and towards the door. You step up and try to see through the peep hole. It’s still black. You exhale and sniff.
“What do you want?” You croak.
Silence. The door shifts as he takes his weight off of it. He soles scuff on the other side.
“Hi,” his voice softens, “how are you, jellybean?”
You close your eyes. You just want an answer. You cross your arms and rocks, a soothing gesture as your nerves bubble up.
“Yeah, that’s okay, I know you’re not much of a talker. We balance each other out like that. I’m doing okay, you know? Cafe was a bit crowded but I got your latte. Foam shouldn’t have fallen yet so if you just want to open--”
“What do you want?” You step closer to the door and raise your voice.
He scoffs into a hum, “isn’t it obvious, babes?”
You open your eyes and bit your upper lip.
“You, baby cakes. Simple as that,” he drawls, “so why don’t you grab your tea and we can have a little sit down.”
“Go away.”
He huffs and clicks his tongue, “don’t be like that, sweetie.”
“I don’t know you--”
“I’m Lloyd, your love bear--”
“Stop. I want you to leave me alone.”
Another sharp exhale from the other side. A lull that prickles across your skin.
“I can’t do that.”
You wince, “please...”
“All you have to do is open the door, jellybean. You know I’m a good guy. I’ve been looking out for you. Every night,” something drags down the door. “You can’t lock yourself away forever.”
You step back and lean on the wall weakly. He’s delusional and you’re so tired. You’re almost tempted to open the door just to get it over with. You sink down onto your butt and hug your knees.
“No.”
That’s all you say. It’s all you can eke out.
He taps on the door lightly and sucks his teeth. “Well, guess I gotta amp up my game.”

Y/N finally sinks into her mattress after yet another tiring day. She can hear her roommate on the other side of the wall, chatting with her girlfriend over the phone, blissfully ignorant to the fact that she currently has a hand teasing the band of her sweatpants while the other scrolls aimlessly through her phone.
Exhaustion burns behind her eyes, but there’s a desperate ache in her belly, one that demands satiety. She opens the internet app to find it unchanged from the night before, still lighting up in the profile named tangointhenight. His profile picture is a tantalizing photo of his hand, splayed across his thigh, which are clad in tight, floral printed pants, doing wonders for the very prominent bulge. Pieces of paint linger on his thumbnail, a pretty pale mint color, and his skin, tanned with faint freckles and etches of dark ink, looks tempting in the golden light. At his wrist is a braided twine bracelet with cheap beads that have letters that she can’t make out, which looks old and wilted.
She scrolls down, only lingering for a moment to appreciate the photo one final time.
There are some cute little posts and polls in addition to his erotic audios. The newest one, posted just that afternoon, warns not to listen to this in public with a series of cute little emoticons following. If there’s one thing she’s learned about Tango, that’s what she and other listeners call him, is that he’s a bit of an exhibitionist; his audios tend to lean toward nearly getting caught or even being caught (oftentimes leading to a “helping out” situation). She honestly wasn’t into that sort of thing until he started talking about it, and now, she finds it incredibly sexy, the thrill of the quick high and the fear of being caught in such a vulnerable moment.
She’ll definitely have to give the new audio a listen on one of her morning commute trips to the university; perhaps, she could give it a listen while she waits for her class to start, his deep voice teasing and coaxing her into an aching mess. She hopes that it’ll leave her trembling and throbbing for the rest of the day. She wonders if she’ll be able to make it until night before she has to finish herself off or if she’ll have to sneak off to the restrooms during one of her seven minute breaks, foot propped up on the toilet paper dispenser while she rubs herself to her bitter end.
She scrolls down a bit, passing over audios that vary from pillow talk to a dirty fuck in back alleys, before tapping on the familiar link, purple from use, the description teasingly saying: we’ve been visiting my mum for a week, and I haven’t been able to taste you... I guess we’ll just have to be quiet.
It’s one of the first audios she listened to when she was just discovering this new world of pleasure, so it has a special place in her heart. It’s one of his firsts from nearly a year ago, of fuzzy listening quality and nervous voice, but she finds his ramblings endearing; although, admittedly, she thinks anything he does is cute.
She tucks in her earbuds and presses the play button. Tossing the phone to the side, her eyes flutter closed, visions of white dotting through the darkness as they adjust. There’s a subtle cracking sound that indicates that it has finally loaded, and a fuzzy droning sound filters through the headphones. There’s a fan going in the background; it squeaks and grumbles nearby. A door creaks open, one of those fake sound effects that you can buy, but she appreciates the effort.
“Hey, lovie, feelin’ better?”
His familiar voice floats through her ears. She settles even more into her sheets. His voice is a nice, hot cup of tea at the end of a hard day, a drug that leaves her head foggy and senses dulled. His voice reminds her of sleep: deep, soothing, persistent, yet ever fleeting. She yearns for it, like being able to listen to that one mazing song for the first time again or the feeling of sunshine after the long winter months. His voice is intoxicating, reaching a baritone timbre that she can’t quite put to words.
At first, she wanted to put a face to the man who hummed sweet nothings in her ears, who coaxed her to oblivion for nights on end. Now, she’s at ease with never knowing. It keeps things interesting, and she doesn’t think about it as much anymore.
“If only mum wasn’t home, maybe we could’ve snuck a quick one in the shower,” he says. She smirks, picturing him tucked into his childhood bed, a cozy twin that would be a struggle for the both of them to fit in, and he has his old quilt tucked up to his neck, leaving his bare feet exposed because of how little it is.
There’s a moment of silence, then a cute little laugh.
“I know. You wouldn’t want to sin in her godly home, but she loves you, probably more than me. I don't think she would think any differently of you.”
Another beat of silence, then his voice catches in his throat. Y/N smiles softly as he stutters pitifully, slowly, struggling to find his words.
“N-no, y’know tha's not how I meant it,” he says. “Like, she loves you more than she loves me. Not that I don’t love you as much as she does.” He moves, the rustling of his sheets crackling in her ears. She can hear his hand run over his stubble, nails scratching over short little hairs. She wonders if he usually grows out his facial hair or if he’s the type to keep clean shaven.
“She couldn’t possibly love you more than I do.” The bed creaks as he shifts again. “C’mon, babe, join me. ‘S all nice and warm.”
She herself burrows further into her blankets, knowing full well that she’s probably going to be kicking them off in a few minutes. She turns to her side, blinking her eyes open, trying to immerse herself into the fantasy.
“‘M glad you got time off of work to come here with me. I know you could've been spending time back home, but you came here with me instead.” His voice is closer than before, however whispered. Every accentuated vowel that passes through his lips is like a breath of fresh air, and she hums quietly at the sound.
“I really appreciate it. ‘M glad we got to spend this time together.”
She imagines that he tucks her into his neck, coddling her while his fingers trace over the curves of her face, from the furrow of her brow, down to the apple of her cheeks, before stopping at her lips, lingering only momentarily before his thumb would push just past them.
He chuckles suddenly.
“What does it look like I’m doing? Jus’ lovin’ on my girl.”
His short pecks turn into slow, passionate kisses, deep sighs of relief falling from his lips, and she swears she can almost feel his breath on her skin, nose pressed tight to the pulsepoint in her neck as he sponges his lips over her collarbone, teeth nibbling lightly. She tugs the tee up from where it’s settled at her hips to where the curves of her breasts begin, the material squeezing them tightly to her chest. The sensitive skin aches under the tight pressure. She teases her nipples through her thin bra, feeling the tenderness coax chills down her spine.
“Please,” he whines. “Wanna taste you. You can be quiet. I believe in you, love.”
She could picture him now, chin resting on her stomach, eyes pleading with her. She would flick his head at the patronizing tone before brushing her fingers through his hair. Would he have short tuffs or long tresses that she could run her fingers through after a long day, breaking apart the knots that accumulate throughout the day? Does he have pin straight, dark locks that are cut close to his scalp or sand coloured curls that fall gracefully on his forehead? Perhaps, he has a bit of gray peaking through his hairline to match his wise and weathered voice. She could almost moan at the thought. She has always had a thing for older men.
Tango says something, but she can’t really hear it, his words muffled by her racing heart. She pries her pants down shaky legs, leaving them dangling around her ankle, and her fingers work quickly in massaging her puffy clit, arousal wetting the tender skin. Not one for having much patience, she doesn’t wait for him to finish worshiping her body with his mouth before she is rubbing herself through her panties, feeling the cold wetness on her fingertips. Eyes closed, her head falls back on her pillows, legs tensing when she stops suddenly.
“Pretty thighs,” he mumbles to himself between kisses, and she could almost feel his tender touches on the backs of her thighs, which tremble with anticipation. A wetly placed kiss followed by an appreciative hum signals his final descent to her cunt. The sound of languid licks are nearly enough to make her finish, walls clenching miserably around nothing. Fingers slowing close to a dead stop, barely more than a faint fluttering on her sensitive skin, she attempts to collect herself, but it’s difficult when he moans once again, muffled by his furiously working lips.
“Love your pussy, baby.” She melts at his words, eyes rolling back as waves of pleasure rack through her body, hips stuttering in time with each flick of her wrist. “So warm and wet and jus’ perfect for me.” His voice, low with need, makes her throb, arousal slipping into her panties.
She’s close already, an unfortunate effect he has on her. Barely five minutes into her alone time, and she can feel the orgasm begin to build, like an unyielding inferno spreading through every nerve. The stress from her day, the exhaustion with the world, everything melts into just one prominent feeling threatening to burst from her pores. She has to force herself to stop before she falls over the edge in order to draw out this experience as much as possible. She nearly cries out when she pulls her hand away altogether, her poor, puffy clit throbbing painfully.
This continues for a while, the undulating waves of a blistering release and the torture of a cut off orgasm, until the air becomes thick, her heaving breaths heating her empty room.
“There’s my good girl,” he says. “Use me, lovie. Want you to choke me with your pretty thighs.”
His voice is more firm this time, and she could only picture his baleful eyes staring up at her, eager to please her and guide her over the edge. It makes her wonder what they look like; she wonders if they’re a soulful, deep chocolate that darken with lust, a pale blue that reminds her of warm afternoons, or a striking hazel that flickers with green hues in the light.
No matter the color, she is sure that they’re undoubtedly pretty.
“Please,” she whispers faintly.
“More? You want more, my greedy girl?” She nods pitifully, feeling the orgasm build quickly in her belly before she stops once again, fingers pressing into her throbbing clit. “You want my fingers?”
Her walls flutter fruitlessly for some sort of release, for some sort of stimulation. He moans out sharply.
“Feel so good, babylove,” he coos. “So warm and wet f’me.”
She wants to slip her fingers inside, to tease and massage that tender spot that she can barely reach until she struggles to breathe. She wants to feel full, but she doesn’t want to take care of the mess, and it surely won’t be comfortable sleeping in wet sheets. The wipes hidden alongside her other secret toys, beneath mounds of socks and crumpled underwear, do little to take care of the arousal that has pooled between her legs.
She fishes around her bedside table, fingers raking through bundles of panties to find her vibrator, a cheap little thing she got in a set when she first moved into her apartment. Unfortunately, she ran through the other ones that were in the set, and this is the only one left.
She nestles the vibrator on her swollen clit and ticks it on to the lowest setting. This stimulation is different than before; a vague rumbling rattles her bones, making her lips tremble, with choked cries teetering on her tongue. Obscene wet sounds fill her ears, and for a moment, she wonders whether they are coming from the audio or from her dripping pussy, and her thighs tighten around her wrist. She could only imagine the sight of his hands splayed over her hips and on her belly, perfectly pastel painted nails pressing into her wet skin. The shifting of her mattress worries her for only a moment, but her shame melts away, and she loses herself in the sound of his heavy, stifled groans, as if he is truly choking on her. The addition of the vibrator only serves to tease her more as she inches toward the end, brutally building in slow, abrupt waves. She struggles to swallow her whimpers.
He spits suddenly, and her hips jut forward at the sound, an erotic display of dominance, but he makes it seem like such a tender act; she could just melt.
“Can you take another?”
A beat of silence and a sharp intake of breath, squelching sounds growing louder.
“No? That’s alright, lovie, just two, then,” he coos. Her toes curl up a little at his words, hips rising from the mattress. On any other night, she would have craved more; she would have wanted him to coax her open with him telling her that she can take just one more and that she’s his good girl. It’s sad to be turned on by a man simply respecting her limits, but her clit throbs pitifully and some arousal slips out into her underwear.
“Gonna come for me, babe?” His words are slurred and wet. “Make me proud.”
Chills rushing down her spine, her body curls into itself, eager for her release. She wants to come so badly; she wants to feel the pleasure for days afterward, to tremble around her hand until she can’t take it anymore, to come until she’s seeing stars. She wants to make him proud, but she knows that she can’t come yet, or else she won’t be able to hear him finish. She doesn’t have another orgasm in her tonight, and she wants to prolong this experience as much as possible, even if that means holding out on her orgasm. The world spins behind her tightly screwed eyes as she slows her ministrations, the vibrator ticking back down to nothing. Her body reacts before she can even consider the loss, her hips bucking against the toy, attempting desperately to find that little bit of stimulation she needs to finally reach euphoria.
His lips smack loudly as he presses simulated kisses to skin, pulling her back from her foggy mind.
“So good f’me, pretty,” he says, words muted by skin. “So good. Hmm, I knew you could be quiet.” His kisses are slow and tired, unlike before when they were rushed and eager. His mattress grumbles as he moves once again, taking his time to, presumably, trail up the length of her trembling body until they’re suffocating in each other's embrace.
He sighs behind closed lips, heavy and wanton, and she can picture him working his hips into the mattress to find some sort of release. She would pull him up until he was right between her aching legs and press her lips to his neck, feeling his pulse jump at the contact. She would cup his cock through his thin pair of pajamas, teasingly massaging him until he just couldn't take it anymore, caution flying out of his mind as he is overcome by thoughts of her name, her skin, simply <i>her. Trying to form a coherent thought, he would barely be able to hold himself up. She moans quietly at the thought.
“Babylove, we can’t—” He moans, his deep voice splintering. “I don’ know if I’ll be able to control myself.”
She has listened to this audio enough to know what to say to fill the silent gaps to fulfill the ultimate fantasy.
“Please,” she whispers into the dead air, barely audible over her roommate's voice in the next room. “Wanna feel you.” She wishes he was there for her to whisper in his ear, her fingers running up the plain of his back, feeling the heated skin tense at her words. He would quirk an eyebrow.
“Yeah? Y’wanna feel my big cock in y’tummy, pretty baby?”
“Yes,” she whimpers quietly, suddenly very aware of how much she truly wanted to be filled, to have him so impossibly close to her.
“Y’know I can’t say no to you.” She can hear the smile in his voice. She wonders what it looks like, if he beams with an eye-searing grin, his face splitting with happiness, or if he has a shy little smirk, just barely toying on his lips. She likes to think that he has a beautiful smile, filled with warmth and love. She melts a little, a rush of adrenaline coursing through her limbs to the tips of her fingers.
“Get on top.”
She does, eyes still closed as she sits and kneels on her mattress, one hand still between her legs, trying desperately to catch her poor, swollen clit at just the right angle that will leave her thighs quaking, her stomach clenching. Her underwear, which are still stuck around her knees, stretch and snap as her thighs slip and spread further on the sheets.
He moans sharply, and she can feel her hips unconsciously move, as if to pull that sound from him once again. The low vibrations from her little handheld leave her aching for more, nothing more than a faint rumble, but if she flicked it up to the next highest setting, it would surely be heard through the thin walls. Besides, she loves the teasing nearly as much as she hates it, just pushing to the brink before the rush subsides and settles into a quiet lull. Speechless, she gasps for air as yet another jilted orgasm subsides.
She works her hips slowly, careful of the squeaking of her mattress; there are only so many noises that can be passed off as her simply shifting around in her sleep. Her wrist aches at such an awkward angle, but she continues, the burning euphoria just beyond the horizon. He moans, and she nearly follows him, a crest of a cry nearly bursting from her chest but it comes out as a small whimper. She pushes her earbud deeper into her ear, as if to pull him closer.
“Sorry, jus’ feel so good,” he says sheepishly, and she can tell that he’s biting his lip by the faint lisp in his words. It would be torture for the both of them, to be so close but unable to move any faster or harder to finally reach the deepest, most pleasurable part, just barely scratching the itch for intimacy. He whimpers pitifully, and she thinks she might fall apart at the sound, but her stupid vibrator leaves her teetering back and forth between over the edge. She wiggles her hips to try to get a better angle, but with just a hint of stimulation, it’s a torturously slow build up.
“There it is, pretty,” he says, breaths faltering. “That’s the spot. Make yourself feel good, lovie. Use me.” Her legs ache at the awkward angle, trembling with overexertion. She wishes that she could let go of it, leaving it on the mattress with her pussy and thighs holding it in place, so she can grind on it, unhindered by her own body’s exhaustion, eagerly chasing her high. It would also free her hands to tease her breasts again, pulling and pinching at her hardened nipples.
“Love the way you feel, babylove,” he whispers. “Fuck, so wet f’me.” He curses again and again, as if no other words can properly describe the feeling of her, so soft, so warm, so fucking good. She could only picture him in abridged visions, his undoubtedly pretty lips parted with his pretty whimpers sneaking through, his features pinched in pleasure. Her eyes roll back as her orgasm quickly approaches.
“‘M gonna come,” he says suddenly. “Are you close, too?” She whimpers, arousal slips down her swollen lips and into her furiously working fingers, eager to finish alongside him. “Yeah? Y’gonna come with me? Y’gonna come on my cock, pretty?”
She is so close, so unbelievably close, and she struggles to relax her muscles to hold off for just a little longer.
“So fuckin’ good, such a good fuckin’ girl,” he says sharply. His mattress squeaks now, unable to hold back the sharp jolts of his hips, and he lets go of all inhibitions, moaning freely. She could imagine his hand tracing up her belly, cupping her swinging breasts, and he would suckle on her nipples until her fervent hips faltered. He would brush his hands up the curve of her back, digging into the muscles of her shoulders until she fell forward. Faces nestled together, interlocking like pieces of a puzzle, they would breathe each other in, savoring such a close moment of intimacy. It would feel like a lifetime as they waited with bated breath, using each other to get the most pleasure possible.
She comes when he does, holding her breath to keep the moans from slipping, which makes it all the more euphoric, the chance of nearly getting caught at her most vulnerable and the faint lightheadedness making her vision foggy. Her orgasm leaves her legs trembling, slipping away from her still buzzing toy, falling forward into her sheets. She breathes in sharply, barely holding back a pained cry; fat tears of pleasure soak into her blanket as euphoria crashes and beats into her muscles. The heart-racing, earth-shattering, limb-thrashing orgasm makes her chest heave. Just like she wanted, she is left spent on her mattress, the powerful rush still lingering in her trembling body.
She flips onto her back, quickly pulling her bottoms back up onto her hips. In her drunken stupor, her earbuds fell out, and she can vaguely hear Tango’s praises. She picks her phone back up, eyes straining under the bright light, and closes out of the audio.
Her head is light, foggy with the residual high. A dazed smile flickers over her lips, exhaustion settling deep in her bones, finally satiated by her orgasm.
She scrolls through his account once again, this time reading through some of his other posts, like links to playlists and cute stories. Suddenly, the little message icon in the corner looks so appealing, teasing and taunting. Perhaps, she’s feeling a little giddy from her high or maybe it’s from the exhaustion, but she can’t seem to find a reason to not do it.
She sends him a message.
Meanwhile, Harry stares at the blinking cursor petulantly. It taunts him amidst a sea of white, a blank canvas in what should have been a completed midterm paper that’s due in a couple of days. His eyes sink closed, and he starts to drift off, only waking when his hand slips from his cheek, knocking his glasses askew. An old sitcom plays in the background, the canned laughter providing a break in the silence every five seconds. He sighs for the billionth time that evening, struggling to find motivation to even think at this point.
His phone dings, and he happily divulges the distraction, his brows furrowing as he reads a direct message from a user called honeyhi. He’s used to getting comments on his post, with the occasional direct message (which he usually deletes instantly because of poor past experiences), and now, he usually doesn’t think much of them. He isn’t doing it to gain anything from anyone. He just wants to put his thoughts out there, and it’s just an added bonus to get validation from beautiful people.
She doesn’t have a profile picture, not uncommon on that corner of the web, especially since his posts aren’t a lot of people’s taste. He wouldn’t usually indulge in them, deleting them usually instantly, but something compels him to open her message.
Not to be too forward, but I had the best orgasm of my life, listening to your audios. I’ve listened to your audios for a long time, and honestly, listening to you has become the highlight of my evenings ;)
Honey, you have no idea what that means to me.
Truly, his heart swells at her sweet words. It’s nice to get complimented on something you put so much effort into. He bares himself for strangers, expressing such an intimate part of himself for their shared pleasure, and it feels reassuring to get compliments.
I mean it. Also, Tango in the Night is arguably one of Fleetwood Mac’s best albums. Definitely top three.
Most people assume it’s a sex thing.
I wonder why.
He laughs a little at the dry comment.
So, what are the other two in your top three albums?
Pre or post Stevie Nicks?
Post, of course. What kind of question is that?
That was a test. You passed. I think we’ll get along just fine, Tango.
I think so, too, Honey.
Y/N rushes past the postman, nearly toppling over when her bag shifts slightly on her arm, her thick binders peek out of the top and dig into her arm. Her hand furiously slaps the elevator button, and she stands impatiently, her dangling keys shaking at her hip. The doors tremble as the weight teeters down to the main floor, far too slowly in her opinion. For a moment, she considers just running up the three flights of stairs to her floor, but that feels a little too eager.
She and Tango have their weekly phone call tonight, and her classes ran long today; that coupled with the stand-still traffic made her more anxious than usual to get home. She always calls first, since her schedule is the most complicated, and she’ll feel absolutely awful if she was late for their call. She feels silly getting worked up over such a small thing, but their friendship progressed beyond the occasional messages in the past month, and she honestly looks forward to their weekly talks. Tango is such a beautiful and humble person, and he is such a stable place of comfort. She knows that he will be understanding and have an independent, secondary perspective on any situation.
He is someone she can rely on for just about anything.
The bell dings above her, and the elevator doors finally part. After barreling inside, she sinks against the railing, glancing at the time, which is still just before her usual calling time. She sighs sharply when the doors begin to close, relief tugging on her shoulders.
However, a hand pushes through the lift’s doors before they can shut, and she bites back an irritated groan; she probably could have made it to her apartment by now if she had ran up the stairs. The man slides in and gives her a grateful nod, accompanied by a small smile. Much to her delight, he presses the ‘close door’ button quickly, and they’re met with no interruptions this time. It’s a quiet ride, despite her nervous feet tapping, and he taps away on his phone,
She admires him out of the corner of her eye, forgetting momentarily about her anxiety. Half of his hair is pulled back in a small bun, exposing the darker locks underneath, and a bandana pushes back the frizzy flyaways that would normally frame his face. The thick strands curl slightly at the ends; there’s one tight coil that she wants to tug on. She could easily become enamored with him, with his pretty green eyes and day-old stubble. His bag has H.E.S embroidered on the bottom corner. A coral colored, gem necklace rests beautifully on his tanned chest, which is mostly covered by a near see-through white top, covered with a baggy, gingham jumper.
After living in the building for two years, they have run into one another on several occasions but have never really spoken. He lives on the second floor, and he goes to the university as well.
When he leaves, after offering another nod and quick smile, she calls Tango. He answers after the second ring.
“Hey, sweets,” he grumbles, not as chipper as his usual self. Her heart sinks a little. He had his midterms last week, and she can only assume that the results are not what he had hoped.
“Oh, no,” she says. “What happened?”
“‘S nothin’,” he insists, but she can hear the irritation in his voice. “‘M jus’ getting myself worked up over nothin’. How was your day?”
Clearly not wanting to talk, he changes the subject, which is something Y/N has grown used to over the past few months. He doesn’t like to vent when he’s too upset because he’s afraid of lashing out and taking his aggression out on her. Thankfully, she has also learned how to distract him. Usually, his annoyance melts away within minutes, and he is his usual, bubbly self again.
“Well, let me tell you, I nearly killed the postman today, and someone nearly hit my car today.”
“What?” He asks incredulously. “Please, elaborate.”
And so, she does.
A couple hours later, Y/N’s in her kitchen, making avocado and tomato toast for the fifth time this week. Her roommate is gone for the weekend, thankfully, which means she can get more stuff done without interruptions (and she can talk to Tango for as long as she wants without getting interrogated about it). His mood had improved significantly after she was able to make him laugh at her own expense (he especially liked the story about how she grabbed her iced coffee too quickly this morning and spilled it all over the barista’s hand).
“I have a question,” he says quickly, as if he wouldn’t have the courage to ask if he held onto it for a moment longer.
“Okay,” she says slowly, almost fearful at the sudden change of tone in his voice.
“Would you be able to listen to something I recorded the other day?” He giggles nervously. “I dunno. I just feel a little,” he makes a little noise, “off about it.”
Stunned, she stares at her phone, the seconds ticking by before her very eyes, and despite the fact that the only reason why they know each other is because she listened to his audios, she’s a little taken aback by the question. Before she knows it, too much time has passed for her to brush off as anything but bewilderment. She stutters.
“I—uh—sure?”
“You don’t sound too sure.”
“No, I am.” Stubborn and not willing to back down, she digs herself a deeper hole, despite the odd feeling growing in her stomach. “Yes, I will listen to it for you.”
“Okay, then,” he says breathlessly. “I’ll send it to you.”
Neither know what to say now. Conversation usually came easy to them, so it feels so strange to be stuck in such an uncomfortable silence. Now, she’s gone and ruined everything because of her hesitation. Why did she even hesitate? There’s no reason to be embarrassed. They’re both very open, sexual people, and it’s nothing to get so worked up over. Maybe, it’s the fact that it’s him, and she knows him so well now. Compared to before, when he was just some stranger on the internet, she knows his likes, dislikes; hell, she has even spoken to his cat, and it feels wrong because he is her friend, and that’s not what friends are supposed to do.
“It’s not weird. Is it?” He asks shyly.
“Of course not.” She says it a little too quickly. Admittedly, it feels a <i>little weird, now that she thinks about it. It would be like walking in on your friend having sex. Then again, the only reason why they really know each other is because she listened to his audios (which is basically him jerking off to his dirty thoughts). However, it’s not an aspect they spoke about too often, usually after a couple of drinks. Their friendship, despite how it began, is purely innocent. They were each other’s comfort person; they were there to vent, laugh, and talk with. Neither ever hinted toward anything different, other than the occasional, playful flirting.
“No, I’ll listen to it for you. What are friends for?”
She doesn’t know why her heart is beating so fast.
“Thank you,” he says.
“So,” she says, “do you want me to listen to it now?”
“Eager, are we?” He hums teasingly.
“Shut up,” she scoffs.
“I mean, if you wanted to hear some dirty talk, all you had to do was ask.”
“Please, stop talking.”
“Y’know I’m always down to clown.”
“I’m hanging up now.”
True to her words, she doesn’t wait for him to answer before she ends the call.
Her phone dings a second later with the link along with another cheeky message. The link is to a private web upload platform, and she feels special for a moment. She wonders if she should just listen to it while eating her toast and go about her usual routine, or if she should do what she usually does when listening to his audios. Is that what he would want, though? Would it make him feel uncomfortable? Is it more weird to just listen to him moan in her ear while doing mundane tasks around the house?
Granted, they have had some conversations about sex and the like, but this feels so much more intimate, especially because he knows that she’s going to listen to him jerk off, not to even mention the obscene things that come from his mouth.
What does it mean for their friendship? Perhaps, it’s not even meant to mean anything, just a sincere favor asked between two friends. Maybe, it’s meant to be a step toward something more on his part. Is that even what she wants?
She brushes off that thought quickly, as she has for months, because deep down, she knows it would just end up in disappointment.
Oh, what a mess.
She’s headed on a downward spiral that has no chance of stopping unless it’s hit by a freight train to hell.
She opts to forgetting her toast and slips into her bedroom, falling onto her blankets giddily. She presses play on the audio, her heart racing as it loads, and leaves her phone face down next to her ear, eyes closing to fully immerse herself, trying to ignore her anxiety.
“Hello,” he says slowly, almost shyly, and it feels like one of their late nights again, with him talking through her phone and her cuddled in bed, listening eagerly. “I’ve just gotten home, but I’ve been thinkin’ about this all day. Couldn’t go to sleep before gettin’ it out there, y’know.” He giggles, a pretty little noise she’s heard many times now. He laughs a lot, sometimes at himself, but mostly in response to her. He even laughs at her corny, little puns, which she appreciated.
“And ‘m really hard right now, so that doesn’t help either. I haven’t really been able to come in the past two weeks. Been too busy with… life, I guess. But a friend of mine talked to me about the world of BDSM. She’s a kinky little shit.”
Y/N’s heart lurches, stomach twisting with an unrecognizable feeling, knowing that the certain friend he is talking about is her. She remembers the conversation well, even though she was a little tipsy and very high, mostly because it was also the first time they had actually spoken on the phone, and it began as it normally does, about mundane things that happened that week. Somehow, the conversation shifted to kinks, and she told him that she wouldn’t be opposed to more sinful acts in the bedroom, most of which her previous partners had not indulged.
“I’m pretty vanilla, I guess. I just love to love people. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I’ve never really been into that sort of thing, but now, I can’t stop thinking about it, and I’ve been kinda into some dark, dom stuff lately,” he admits slowly. “Dark for me, at least, which, again, doesn’t say much.” There’s another laugh, radiant and delicate.
“I dunno why, but I’ve been fantasizing about taking you into our room. A little lackluster, I know, but I’m not into the dark, dingy places, like those sex dungeons they have in the movies, where there’s lots of leather, red lights, music, quite the ambience.” He stops suddenly, and she could imagine his lips pursing to cease his ramblings. She wishes he wouldn’t do that so much; she wishes that he wouldn’t doubt himself and his beautiful way with words. If only he could be as confident in himself as she is in him.
“I just want to lay you down on our bed with our fluffy blankets pushed off to the side. Then, if either of us need to take a moment or stop, we can.” Her heart swells a little at his words. Even though he’s trying to talk about, in his words, “dark, dom stuff”, he is still so sweet and considerate, and she can’t help but soften. He trails off.
Faintly, she can hear him yank his belt from the loops, and it’s, honestly, one of the hottest things she has ever heard; the teasing glimpse of what could come far more erotic than anything any of her other partners could do. She could only imagine what it would feel like to have him in front of her, shirtless with his pants low on his hips; maybe he would be wearing the same floral pants he is in his profile picture, the ones that are unbelievably tight. She would be splayed on the bed, just observing this beauty of a man, waiting patiently for him to come and ravish her.
She’s sure that his tattoos cover more than just his arms, but how many more is a question that haunts her. The thought of a big tattoo on his thigh that she can grind on while he moans about how much of a good girl she is has led to many obscene dreams. She imagines black images carved into his chest, perhaps a trail of floating rose petals from his collar bone to his peck or a hellish looking snake wrapped around his waist. More vividly, she envisions a bold tattoo just beneath his belly button, one that she would scratch at while he violently pounded into her, one that she would kiss and lick before she would take him in her mouth.
Oh, what she would do to be able to feel his skin on hers.
She dips her hand beneath the band of her shorts out of habit, toying with the silky material of her panties. She tries not to think too much about her feelings, fearing it would deepen the ache in her heart.
“Anyway, you’d be on the bed,” he says, his usual slow, stifling voice pulling her deeper into the fantasy, “naked, on your knees with your pretty pussy facing me. You’re all tied up, starting at your wrists and ankles, and there would be a pretty knot down your spine that I can grab while I fuck you from behind.”
Her cunt throbs at the sudden turn. She could only imagine: her face pressed into the pillows, choking on the sheets, her muscles tight, aching beneath the restraints, and her voice raw, sobbing from overstimulation. Exhausted and wanton, she would take anything that he would be willing to give her. He would shove her face into the mattress, mounting her, and he would tug on the rope until it felt like it would permanently embedded in her wet skin, telling her how much of a good little slut she is, taking him so well.
She doesn't know why she’s drawn to rope play; perhaps, it’s all a part of the subtle nuances of the sex, the intimacy of tying the complex binds around your partner and the intricacies of sensory manipulation with such overwhelming stimulation. It’s so much more than just being bound while fucking. There is such a deep reliance on the other person to understand your body, your limits, your needs. It’s about trust and vulnerability. She thinks of it in such a melodic and romantic way; it must have resonated with Tango.
“Or I’d tie your arms to your legs, keeping you spread open for me on your back, with knots around your belly, the lead falling between your tits.” Her eyes flutter closed. While rope play is something that she has always wanted to try but never felt comfortable enough with another person to act on it. He would be different though. She cups her pussy, languidly running her fingers through her wet folds, feeling the arousal slip down her skin before settling on her sheets.
She pinches her clit, and her legs immediately jerk around her arm. Feeling far too sensitive for that type of stimulation, she simply strokes through her lips, focusing her ministrations on the delicate inside, close to her sopping entrance, enjoying the slow build.
“Then, I could hold onto your neck while I fuck you, and I like being able to see your face, to see how good I’m making you feel, to see tears of pleasure run down your pretty face. You could suck on my fingers while I fuck you, deep and hard. D’ya wanna choke on my fingers, pretty?”
She wants absolutely nothing more. She would gladly suck on his fingers if it meant that she could see the look of awe in his eyes, lust darkening his features when she bites teasingly on his nail.
“But if you’re on your knees, I could watch you in the mirror and still see your face. From behind, I can see your pretty, tight pussy take my cock.” He whimpers. “I haven’t decided which I would rather have.”
She can’t decide, either.
Then again, they could always have both.
“Of course, I wouldn’t give you my cock that easily. No, you’re going to be crying for me, begging for me to fuck you, and I dunno if I would fuck you right away or make you beg for it. I think for the first bit, after you’re all tied up for me, I’ll tease you, just barely touching you, pulling on the lead, the ropes tightening around your aching body. I think your tits would look so pretty all tied up f’me, babylove.
“When you’ve finally had enough, crying for me to stuff you full of my cock, I’d let you come, but I’d only use my fingers, never giving you what you really want. Maybe I’ll put a little vibrator on your clit and leave you there, having you come again and again until it hurts. I’d have you keep your panties on, of course. Don’t want you making a mess of the sheets, and then, when I finally give you my cock, I’ll put them in your mouth to keep you quiet, and so you can taste yourself.”
His moans are in the forefront in his sensual song, mixed amongst a symphony of bed and friction sounds. She matches his pace, flicking her wrist in time with the sound of him working his wet cock. She massages the entirety of her pussy, messily rubbing her fingers from the tip of her poor, swollen clit to her throbbing opening.
“Fuck, babylove, you’d be so good f’me, taking my cock so deep in your pussy. Would you cry f’me, pretty? Cry for daddy to fuck you into the mattress.” A rumbling groan finally breaks free, and she is so close to falling apart, her high festering into her muscles, burning through her nerves; her skin feels hot to the touch. She struggles to breathe, but she doesn't yearn for air as much as she does her end. Tears in her eyes, she clutches onto her blanket, tugging it in her mouth to keep from crying too loudly. She sobs, feeling a familiar tightness in her body, just beyond her grasp. Her hand still moves over her pussy, arousal seeping through trembling fingers, but she can’t reach her peak with such light, varied stimulation, her hips buckling.
“My pretty rope bunny,” he mutters. He’s desperate, truly just rambling on and on about anything that comes to mind. “My pretty honey,” he whimpers, almost inaudibly, “honey, honey.”
For a second, she thinks of the times that word has passed through his lips in less sinful situations, a slow, lulling honey when he’s trying to get her attention, sweet and innocent. That’s his special name for her, and she wonders if, possibly, he thinks about her in the same way she does, if he wishes to be with her in such an intimate way, just as she does. She thinks, incredulously, that maybe she isn’t overanalyzing the situation.
His bed squeaks faintly in the background, just barely heard over his withering voice. She can only begin to imagine what he looks like in that moment, legs tense, feet digging into the mattress, his hips thrusting to fuck himself into his fist. The head of his cock would peek through the top of his fist as he coerced his release free. She wishes she could see what he looks like when he comes, when he finally reaches his most euphoric moment. It’s such a primal thing to witness, to see someone liberated of all inhibitions, to observe them completely succumbing to their instincts. It’s such a beautiful thing to see someone acquiesce control and thrive so harmoniously with their body.
“I wanna wrap my belt around your throat.” He swallows thickly. She whines along with him. Perhaps, she’s just fooling herself, but she can swear that she could almost hear the sound of a leather belt squeezing in his fist. A pitiful pool of wetness slips between her ass cheeks.
“My cock hurts just thinking about how you’d sound.” He moans, mimicking the desperate heaves that would undoubtedly slip through her lips as he pulls his belt tightly around her throat. “Then, when you’re bratty, I can just wrap my hand around the belt and make it tighter.
“Please,” he mocks weakly, “please, sir, I’ll be good. But you’re just saying that to get what you want. You’re just a naughty, little slut aren’t you?”
“Yes,” she returns weakly.
“Maybe, I could get you a collar and pull you around with that. Would you like that?” He hums. “Of course, you would. You’re my pretty, little bunny.”
In any other instance, she would feel humiliated to be so aroused at being so weak and submissive to another, but he could convince her to do anything at this point. She’s close, toes curling and muscles tightening, and she waits for his familiar profession that he is also near the edge, but the silence that follows is deafening, a disappointing resolution to an intense narrative. It makes her stop completely, wet hand flipping her phone over to see that, indeed, she had listened to all of the audio. It knocks the air from her lungs when she realizes that that was it. She isn’t going to hear his cute little whimpers as he comes nor his sweet aftercare.
Frustrated from her ruined orgasm, she calls him instantly, and he picks up after the fourth ring this time, as if he <i>knows</i> that she is this needy and frustrated. She doesn’t give him the chance to greet her.
“That couldn’t have been all of it.”
“Well, hello to you, too—”
“I didn’t get to hear you come.”
“Is that what you wanna hear, honey?”
“Well, yeah, I always come with—” She stops before she says something she’ll regret, but by the sound of his laughter, it’s already too late. She wants to hide away in embarrassment.
“It’s only partially finished. I thought I told you that.” She can hear the teasing smirk he surely has plastered on his face, the cheeky bastard. “I just wanted to hear what you thought so far before I finished it. There’s no point in finishing something that I already feel isn’t worth the time.”
“Well, then,” she stutters quickly, “How does it end?”
“How do you think it should end?”
There’s a certainty in his words, as if he has already accepted her as a lover, and she knows that he is giving her the opportunity to initiate the next step. Fear squeezes her chest, and for a second, she worries that she isn’t brave enough to follow through. Every fiber of her being is pleading with her to just take that risk, but another, more rational side of her, is saying it’s better to say a quick I don’t know, and they would move on as normal.
“Where would you come?”
Oh, it feels so filthy to ask that, but it’s so relieving to hear the hum of approval that passes through his lips.
Her heart races, not like before; this is exciting and new and arousing, and it feels wrong. She doesn’t even know what he looks like; hell, she doesn’t even know his real name, and she’s so fucking ready and willing to give herself to him. There’s just so many reasons to not pursue him. She feels ashamed, almost, that she is weak for a man she knows nothing about.
“Hmm, that’s a good question. Where would you like me to come?”
But how can she not get weak when he asks her things like that?
Shivers bloom on her skin in sunflower blossoms. She knows what he wants to hear, and usually, she would tease him, telling him that he didn’t care if he even came or not, but the throbbing between her legs is relentless, and she’s just lust-drunk that she’ll say just about anything to get what she needs. She begins rubbing herself again, focusing solely on her clit this time instead of the entirety of her pussy in the palm of her hand. Breathing out shakily, she answers honestly.
“Everywhere.”
He moans, and she knows that was the right answer.
“Everywhere? Such a greedy girl. You want me to come down your throat? You wanna taste it? Maybe, I’ll have you choke on my cock, fuck y’face until you’re crying.”
After he was done fucking her, she’s sure that he would yank her up either by the rope around her breasts or by the belt around her neck (she can’t decide which yet) and put his cock by her mouth, rubbing himself over her lips and chin, but never quite pushing past the barrier of her lips; no, she would be the one to open her sweet mouth for him, her jaw lax and tongue wet as she takes everything he’d give her.
God, yes, she wants to taste him. She wants him to use her in every possible, degrading way: to use her mouth while she tied up, under his mercy, to fuck her face until she has tears dripping down her cheeks, wetting her heaving chest, to come down her throat until she’s choking on him, but he would pinch her nose and make her taste it until her vision was blurry.
“You’d take it all, babylove. Won’t you?”
He asks so innocently, his deep voice having a soft twinge, but she knows that it’s not optional, not that she would choose otherwise. She would greedily lap at his cum and drink it all, proudly showing off her empty mouth when she’s done. Maybe, he would insist that she keep it in her mouth and pull her into a wet, heated kiss, prying her lips apart so he can taste himself on her tongue.
“I could make a mess on your belly or your tits, and then, I could lick you clean. Or I could mark up your thighs and watch it drip onto the sheets.”
The thought of him marking her with his come is nearly enough for her to reach her peak. A voice in the back of her head chastises her for being so greedy; this is something she has fantasized about since they started talking, and it’s going to be over before it can even begin at this rate. She needs to distract herself, to focus on anything other than the painful throbbing between her legs.
“Or I could come inside you.”
That’s the last thing she needed to hear.
Only because it makes a thick bead of arousal seep into her sheets. It makes her finally give in and sink two fingers inside herself, and <i>fuck, she’s so wet and swollen and pliable. She sobs, truly biting back even louder cries behind gritted teeth. She curses again and again at the feeling coursing through her veins, heat spreading in her belly as her hips frantically move against her ministrations.
“By the sound of that moan, I think that’s definitely preferred. Such a filthy girl. Y’want me to fill your belly? Want me to mark you as mine?”
She just knows that he could fill her to the brim, but he would want to prolong the experience as much as possible, teasing her with his cock and coaxing her to beg for his cum.
She could just imagine the determined look in his eyes, so close to coming, but he would pull out, just barely teasing her trembling entrance with his twitching cock. He wouldn’t move, and when she would beg for him to put it back in and just fuck her until she couldn’t breath, he would say very simply: if y’want my cum so bad, put my cock back inside.
God, his face would be gleaming with this power, satisfied with seeing her so needy for his cum. Shamefully, she would put one of her hands on his hip while the other grasps his cock, pushing on him until he sinks entirely inside her once again, but he still wouldn’t move, simply filling her, the both of them twitching with arousal. He would demand that she make him come if she wants it so bad, as if it's a gift from the heavens.
“Are you touching yourself?” He asks, and only then does she realize that she was drowning in her fantasy; the sudden change makes her stop rubbing herself, her vision hazy. She parts her lips with wet fingers, slipping back down to her entrance, gently prodding inside until that euphoria builds once again.
“Yes,” she admits shamefully. “‘M so fucking wet for you.”
“Dirty little slut,” he says sharply. He has no room to judge, especially since she can hear the all-too-familiar sounds to him jerking his cock, wet sounds of his fist passing over the thick head echoing in her empty room. She is near tears at this point, so needy and high and horny, but she wants to make this last.
“Would you let me come? Please, can I come?”
It’s his turn to moan with approval, and she feels proud. His heavy breathing in time with hers, he seems to be lost in pleasure, voice hitching as he struggles to find words. Her orgasm swells to a near crest once again, but she wants to hear him finish. At this point, she knows what it sounds like, from the frantic ramblings to the guttural moans, and he’s not quite there yet.
“Do you think you deserve to come, honey? You think you’ve been a good girl f’me?”
“Yes, I’m a good girl—fuck—please, please, I need to come.” She stumbles through her words, what little power she held in her withering grasp deflating instantly from his words.
“I dunno, I think you’re a brat who just wants to get off.”
It’s painful how much his words impact her, volatile muscles spasming while she staves of hee end. She whimpers, sinking further in her headspace; she feels a cloud settle in her vision (or perhaps those are tears), overwhelming yet freeing.
“No, I’m your good girl,” she insists.
“I think you’ll have to prove it to me, honey,” he replies slyly. “I don’t think I’ll let you come quickly. I want you to beg for it. Can you do that f’me, babylove? Beg me to come.”
“Fuck, I’m so close,” she says. “Please, please, I need it. Please, let me come.”
“You can do better than that,” he says, voice cracking. Their harmonious sounds of excitement drive both of them closer to their orgasms.
“Oh, god—please, I—fuck—I need it so bad. ‘M so close, please.” She can barely speak coherently. Chills wrack her sore body, waves of throbbing pleasure threatening to break her. She wanted—no, needed—him to finish.
“Come f’me, Honey,” he says. “You’re my good girl, so good f’me. C’mon, babylove, come with me.”
She does. With ears ringing and eyes closing, she comes until her pussy aches. It feels never ending, euphoria consuming every part of her sweat-laden flesh, chilling and fiery, for hours—or perhaps only seconds. She can’t tell.
“Thank you,” she whispers, her vision blurry. Her body trembles with residual aftershocks of her intense orgasm. She lays spread open on her bed, her pussy still too sensitive to close her legs entirely.
“Thank you for letting me come.” In her daze, her limbs fall away limply. All she can do is exist at this moment. She vaguely wonders if he finished with her, the thought of his deep moans fueling another fire. A part of her is disappointed that she wasn't present enough to listen to him, but another part knows that more opportunities will come.
“You’re so welcome, honey,” he says sweetly. “I think we both really needed that today.”
She hums, still recovering from such a powerful end. She slowly regains her breathing.
“I guess I should be thanking you because that’s one of the best orgasms I’ve ever had,” he says. She laughs.
“You flatter me.”
“I’m serious. Nearly gave myself a pearl necklace.”
And just like that, everything continues as normal. Both know that the other is naked and satiated, but neither feels uncomfortable with the fact. If anything, it makes things relieved, open, or comfortable. They’re both giggly in the golden after-glow.
“What does this mean for us, Honey?”
As, yes, the dreaded ‘talk’. Fear immediately spikes in her veins, and she struggles to find her words. Before she can answer, he begins speaking again.
“Look, I really like talking with you, and I don’t want this to make things weird, but I meant what I said earlier. That was probably one of the best orgasms of my life, and I don’t think that I could live without your pretty little moans now that I’ve heard them. Maybe, we can do that again. We don’t have to put a label on it or anything, if you don’t want to.”
Her heart sinks. Is that all that he wants?
“Right, it doesn’t have to be anything serious, just us having some stress relief.” Her words are dry and forced, feeling like bile in her mouth. She grits her teeth. What the hell had she just gotten herself into?
“Hey, uh, it’s late, and I have to wake up early tomorrow. Same time next week?”
She hopes that he doesn’t think that she regrets what they did, and she hopes he doesn’t think too much into her abrupt ending of the call. It’s not a total lie; she does have work early tomorrow morning, but she has had more than a few days where she was running on two hours of sleep and a miracle. She just wants to get off the phone before he hears the contemplation in her voice.
“You think I can wait a week after that? You have too much faith in me.”
“I think you’ll survive, babe,” she says.
“Good night, babylove.”
“Good night.”
She falls asleep quickly after, dreaming of the nameless, faceless man who she bares her soul to.
Later that night, as Harry edits the finally finished audio, he thinks back to Honey and their mutual pleasure, feeling like an absolute idiot for saying that it was nothing serious. He wasn’t expecting her to agree so emphatically, so quickly.
Although, what had he expected? He was the one who suggested it. No matter, he can’t have a relationship right now, especially a long distance one. He would just end up getting hurt, but he likes her too much to stop talking to her completely. He finally took their relationship further even if it won’t lead to anything more.
“Are you ready to admit defeat?”
Y/N lets out a breathy laugh, despite her current situation, her hand rubbing leisure circles on her already sensitive clit, which still throbs from her first orgasm of the night. Tango murmurs praise in her humming ears.
She’s not really sure what they are, and she doesn’t want to think about it. It would only complicate things more.
Friends? Definitely.
Well, maybe not definitely, since she doesn’t even know his name, but what other word could she use to define their relationship? What sort of friends would say such filthy things to each other? Why would he call her ‘my honey’ so emphatically if they were ‘just friends’? Too afraid of misinterpreting his intentions and embarrassing herself, she doesn’t mention anything, and he never does either, but it keeps her awake at night, wondering what they could be if she could just put her feelings to words.
This would be the second hour of their phone call, and it only took them ten minutes for the conversation to turn into one of their “stress relieving sessions”. Both of them had a terrible day; she was late for the first day at her new job (they were understanding given the circumstances, but it still left a sour taste in her mouth), and he slept through an exam. She eased him into a submissive headspace quickly, babbling about what a good boy he is and how proud she is of him. Within minutes, he came, and she whispered all the filthy things she wanted to do to him until he was completely spent, his cock milked of all remnants of his seed, twitching and throbbing with empty orgasms.
He easily fell into the dominant headspace after his quick high, and he was adamant that he could make her come more than any of her other partners, even without him truly there. She knows that he can; hell, she has touched herself to his voice more times than she could count, but she likes teasing him, hearing him get all riled up and stubborn.
“Are you gonna come again, honey?”
“Nope,” she breathes, “Not even a little close.”
“You’re obviously lying or not trying,” he says sharply, and a sense of pride swells in her chest at her ability to get a rise out of him without even trying. She smirks.
“What are you gonna do? Punish me?”
“I might have to.”
She’s sure he would, too, but it would be in the most pleasurable way possible, with his mouth and fingers and cock stimulating her until she comes so many times she can’t take anymore. Her fingers trace her most intimate area, nails scraping against her quivering core. She sinks two fingers inside, feeling her sopping pussy swallow them easily, adjusting quickly and craving more. She tries to find that sweet, spongy spot inside her, but she can’t seem to reach it.
“Wish it was your fingers,” she mumbles, her movements certain and even, but it’s never enough for her greedy body.
“Yeah, lovie?” He croons, “they’d be so big in your tight little pussy.” She hums, wishing that he was there to stuff her in every way possible.
“Would you wear your rings?”
“For you? Of course.” Her eyes roll back at the thought; his thick fingers could tear her at the seams, and with the added texture of his rings, she would be coming within seconds. Her clit throbs, blood rushing in time with her racing heart, and she massages it harder, wanton and waiting for yet another release. “C’mon, babylove, Come for me. Make me proud,” he coaxes. His words make her fall over that edge once more, thighs shaking and pussy weeping. She’s sure there’s a creamy stain beneath her, seeping into her wet skin.
“Again,” he demands. She thinks she may break. “Keep going, babylove. Where’s that toy you told me about?”
He knows that she won’t be able to come much longer on her own, with the pain overwhelming the pleasure.
“It’s so far away,” she whines.
“Go grab it, love,”
Her legs tremble as she twists around, reaching blindly into her bedside drawer. She can’t close her legs too much without getting overstimulated; her legs ache and twitch. Once the toy is situated just above her clit, she ticks it on. Her body reacts immediately, limbs jolting about, hips ducking away, and her voice catching. Gasping, she almost wants to take the toy away, the stimulation being far too much.
He thinks differently.
“Turn it up higher, lovie,” he says so sweetly. Her chest feels like it could almost collapse into itself. Still dizzy from her orgasm, she’s not sure if she can take it, her body fighting against her. She wants to beg and plead for something, but she doesn’t even know what for. Is it for yet another orgasm that will surely be more powerful that any other? Or is it for the burning at every nerve ending to stop?
“I dunno—”
“You can take it, such a good little bunny for me.”
The vibrator ticks to the next setting, a sharp, persistent sound echoes in her empty room, followed by an even louder shout. She has not control anymore. Thankfully, she’s home alone or else it would be an awkward morning with her roommate listening to her cries of pleasure well into the night. Her hand shakes, but she presses the head of the toy harder to her clit. She lets out a guttural groan, feeling euphoria seep from every pore.
“There it is,” he moans, breathing growing ragged. He’s surely jerking himself off, basking in the pleasure with her, and it makes her arousal burn deeper. She wants to put on a show for him, to egg him on and make him feel as good as he makes her feel.
“There’s my pretty girl. Let me hear you, baby.”
She can barely squeeze out a few breathless whimpers from her chest, hedonistic—no, animalistic—sobs crash through her. Pain and pleasure fight for control, just as her mind and body do.
“Feel good?”
“Yes,” she says weakly. “Feels so good.”
She comes quickly with a silent cry, her lips parted and face scrunched. Saliva slips from her open mouth, and she is unable to wipe it away, lewdly dripping down her chin to her neck before finding it’s place on her dirtied sjeets. The recovery period is quicker this time; it’s either that or her body is becoming numb to anything but pleasure. It feels like it’s never ending with the vibrator still nestled tightly to her puffy cilt. Her lips are surely swollen now too, tender from too many orgasms, yet still sopping with arousal.
“Don’t take it away,” he says, “You got another one in ya. You can do it, lovie.”
His voice is muffled beneath blankets where her phone lies, lost in her ravenous bouts of pleasure, limbs writhing and tossing. Her body aches when she twists to put it back up by her ear to hear him more clearly, muscles tight from her previous orgasms. Legs closing slightly, she whines when the toy presses harder against her clit, hips ducking away from the strong vibrations, eyes fluttering closed. Her phone falls out of her grasp once more, but the light illuminates the dark room, casting a warm glow.
“Please—”
She’s not really sure what she’s begging for; it just slips out, a weak plea. Perhaps, she just wants him to be there instead of on the other end of a phone call, in some faraway place she doesn’t even know. The room would feel so much warmer with him here, her back pressed to his chest, their sweat mingling. Maybe he would wear those pretty lace stockings he showed her a picture of once, the glittery fabric coarse against her skin as he teases his toes along her leg, keeping them spread. His freckled and inked arms wrapped tightly around her middle, paying special attention to her tummy, he would whisper sweet things in her ear and press on the area right below her belly button, telling her of how he wants to grind his pretty cock against her soft middle until she is sticky with his precum, how he can fuck himself that deep inside her. She would feel him for days after.
“I know it hurts, baby, but just one more, then you can go to bed.”
It sounds so nice, the thought of sinking into her pillows for a good night's rest, but an orgasm sounds even better, one leaving her spent and satiated and sleepy.
“Such a good girl f’me.”
As much as she wants to, the sensitivity becoming nearly unbearable, she can’t stop; she wants to make him proud, to prove to him that she’s his good girl who can take it. Even though he’s not truly there with her to hold her and make sure she comes, she still wants to do as he says. Her legs tremble, threatening to close.
She squeaks when the vibrator hits a particularly sensitive angle on her clit, and she bites into her pillow to keep from crying out. Her hips work desperately, to reach that high for the last time, just one more, like an addict itching for one more hit. It’s her fourth orgasm within ten minutes, and this might just be her breaking point.
“I dunno if I can.” Her words slur, and she can feel spit dripping down her puckered lips. She suddenly wishes he was there to wipe it away, thumb soft and subtle against her skin, lingering on her puffy lips.
“One more, babylove,” he insists. “Just one more. You’re doing so well.” She bites back a mangled cry, eyes squeezing shut, her thoughts lost in a dark chaos. His voice is the only anchor amidst a dizzying high, coaxing her through her stupor with sweet words.
“My pretty girl, my good fucking girl, taking it so well.” His gravelly voice pulls her from drowning, his words gritty from his clenched jaw. “You’re not hurting too much, are ya?”
His deep voice is soft, lilting with a tender care she needs. She could simply melt, blanketed in the warmth of his rich voice.
“A little,” she admits, a dull ache in her belly when she clenches too tightly. “But it feels so good.”
The vibrations pulse through her body, leaving her voice shaky, and she shifts slightly, hips digging into the mattress. It settles on the underside of her clit, and it’s so close to that one spot, until finally—there, there, there—right there. She groans, low and guttural, drawn out from the depths of her chest, animalistic almost. Her body burns and trembles for a second before yet another strong, unrelenting wave drowns her. Every muscle in her body tenses as the head of the vibrator finds the one tender spot on her clit, catching at just the right angle that leaves her eyes teary, world dizzy. She knows it’ll be painful if she doesn’t pull away, a harsh orgasm building, but she can’t stop, not with him listening to her, waiting for her final bitter end.
She’s doing so good for him, such a good bunny. She trembles in the wake of such a violent euphoria, weak moans slipping in time with her belated breathing. It passes through in waves, the pain, a bittersweet burning welling deep inside her, but a different ache persists, one that leaves her yearning for more, one that makes her dig her feet into the mattress and press herself harder on the toy. Her toes curl, and her back arches, free hand twisting the sheets.
He hums appreciatively.
“My bunny likes it when it hurts. Doesn’t she?”
“Yes,” she sobs, “I want it to hurt.” Hips shuttering away from the relentless vibrator, Y/N feels her final orgasm build, pain lingering around the edges as her muscles twitch.
“Such a dirty little slut.” Her back arches at his filthy words, arousal pooling beneath her. She could feel it wetting her thighs. “Just f’me, right, honey? Just my pretty slut.”
She comes quickly, eyes rolling back as it overwhelms all of her senses. She feels tense yet relaxed. A broken cry breaks from her swollen lips as she shatters, falling apart for the final time. Her muscles quiver, tiny shocks lingering in the aftermath of so many orgasms in such quick succession. Her limbs ache. Her heart races. Her pussy throbs. She knows that this will be all she can take, her body completely spent. She can’t find the energy to keep her eyes open, and they roll back.
“You alright?”
“Yeah,” she says, still struggling to find her breath and collect her thoughts, but when she does, a smile breaks her face. She feels everything and nothing all at once, so perfectly numb. She finds herself laughing incredulously because that cocky little bastard was right: he made her come more times than anyone has before. She laughs until tears slip down her warm cheeks.
This is the part where the emotions start to become just as overwhelming as her release. So much sinks in all at once, and she realizes just how alone she is, and she wishes he was here to pull her back down to earth, to hold and to love. She feels deflated. The sexual release is such a rush, but it brings devastating lows. With tears in her eyes, she struggles not to cave into herself.
“You sure you’re okay?”
“Yeah,” she lies, a sob curling in her lungs, forcing its way out in a blubbering mess. Once the first one escapes, the rest follow easily. She can’t seem to stop, heaving cries wracking her already sore body as she clutches onto her pillow. She fists her phone to her ear in an attempt to be closer to him, but that makes the feeling grow worse, settling to a black hole in her stomach, sucking all euphoria from her. Tears soak into her skin and sink into her ear, muffling his comforting words.
“Let it out, babylove,” he says softly. “I know, I know. I know. Sometimes it can just get really overwhelming.” His words are gentle, just as he is, and maybe that’s what makes this even worse. He is everything she wants. He is just so perfect for her in every way, but he is ao far from her reach. Maybe it would be better if he wasn’t such a good person. Maybe that would make the yearning go away. She’s quiet, slowly breathing through stuttering sniffles.
“Hey,” he says softly, “Go pee and clean yourself up, babe. Know you don’t like feeling all wet down there. It makes your peach all sticky.”
She nods, knowing full well that he can’t see her, but doesn’t move. She honestly doesn’t think she can.
“Go on,” he murmurs when he doesn’t hear the familiar rustling of her sheets. “‘M right here, honey.”
A few more tears squeeze out of her eyes at his words. It makes her whole demeanor crumble once again; she’s upset because he’s not really there, he’s not there to hold her and kiss her and love her, and that’s not fair. She just wants to have him here to tell her that everything will be alright; she wants him to be there to laugh with, to just be with. He is such a good part of her life, but she just wishes that he could physically be there in the way she dreams.
She cleans up quickly, tossing her spent underwear into her dirty laundry. Just as she had suspected, the remnants of her orgasms stained her thighs.
What’s that ache in her chest?
“Good girl, feel better, lovie?”
She nods and whimpers, unable to calm her trembling lips.
“Good, ‘m right here, babylove. Y’did so good, so proud of you.”
She crawls back to bed moments later, shuddering breaths and swollen eyes being the only remnants of her breakdown. She sniffles and wipes her wet eyes with the back of her hand, which smells vaguely of her feminine wipes.
“Sorry, if it was too much,” he says.
“No, no need to apologize,” she says quickly to get rid of any lingering guilt he has. It felt amazing, to be tested just beyond her limits, to be pushed to a shattering breaking point, to trust him to know what she can take. “It was nice. I just sorta—” Her voice breaks. “I dunno. Everything just got a little overwhelming. I think I’m better now.”
“What do you need from me, honey?”
She nearly starts crying again at how sweet he is. She almost could imagine that only a few minutes ago he was calling her his dirty little slut and demanding her to come until she could handle it.
“Just talk to me,” she says.
“So, I saw a couple dogs today,” he begins awkwardly. “Well, I was attacked by two little frenchie’s when I was walking to class, and it completely made my day ten-times better. They were so cute with their chubby little legs.”
He rambles on about his week, and it feels nice and familiar.
She’s nearly asleep when he begins talking about his mother. Apparently, she was visiting him last week, which was nice for about a day; then, he began realizing why he moved away in the first place: she is so smothering.
“And my mum is always nagging me to go out and socialize. She was like,” he breathes in, adjusting his tone to a falsetto. “Harry, you’re never gonna be able to find anyone if you don’t…”
He continues as normal, chattering away in his low, sleepy voice. She doesn’t think he even realizes his slip up, words spluttering out of his mouth so quickly that even he probably couldn’t hear it. She smiles as sleep finally overwhelms her.
Harry.
His name is Harry.

“who do i look like thirsting over a guy who still has a galaxy s6?”
part 2 to the little streamer drabble i posted!
-
“girl look at your twitter.”
the voice that your phone was emitting rang in your ears, pro hero by day, your longtime bestfriend by night, monoma neito. also known as, phantom thief.
“what? what happened?” you quickly tapped off the call screen, your finger rapidly going to find the app with the blue bird logo, trying to see if you were getting cancelled, or worse, if you were getting shipped with neito.
you quickly tapped the topic that showcased your name, wondering just what all the fuss could possibly be about at 2:53 am on a tuesday morning.
of course, the gossip magazines have now caught onto what you said and they were sure as hell never going to let it go, at least not until you provided them with some details.
“oh my god. neito you told me he wouldn’t even see it! you fucking liar.” you pinched the bridge of your nose while one hand placed your phone on your countertop, the sound of the man laughing echoing throughout your household as you went to open your fridge.
“you had to have known he’d see it! you’re not exactly an underground streamer y’know. although, you’ll never be in the spotlight the way i am.” how the hell was he a pro hero with this attitude? no way his approval rating was high.
“well yeah! but i didn’t think he’d reply to it. d’you know how embarassing this is for me? it was just a joke! it’s literally a lyric from a megan thee stallion song.” you groaned as you cracked an egg over your bowl, whisking it in.
“wait. what’re you doing?” he heard you shuffling around.
“baking a cake. i can’t sleep.” you murmured softly, grabbing your flour.
“i’m coming over.” the man had always had such a sweet tooth, and he was more than happy to indulge in the treats that you’d bake whenever your mind was fully occupied.
“i’m here!” you jumped, forgetting that you had given the man a key in case he was ever on night patrol and needed a place to crash.
he was in his hero costume, his patrol had just finished and the stupid tailcoat that he had followed his every move as he waltzed into your kitchen, a bright smile on his face.
“god, neito! knock or something, i could’ve been naked.” your voice revealed to him just how startled you actually were.
“nothing i haven’t seen before.” oh right, that’s how you both got so close. you used to hook up with the man before becoming bestfriends.
“anyways. back to the main subject. what the hell do i do? he’s seen it. so it’s not like i can delete it and pretend it’s never happened.”
the man handed you the sugar from your pantry before sitting on your countertop right by your stove.
“well no, you can’t delete it now. honestly i say live up to it, what’s the worst that can happen?” he was always so confident, it made you like him and hate him at the same time.
“i don’t know, neito. i mean that’s embarassing! who do i look like thirsting over a man who still has a samsung galaxy s6? i’m so stupid sometimes, this is why i need a media manager.” you poured the cake mix into the pan, tossing neito the bowl so that he could have the leftover mix.
“mm. thank you. chocolate cake mix.”
“can you be serious?” you threw a wooden spoon at him, the man letting out a small ow! before getting back to your conversation.
“i am being serious, sweetheart. unfortunately this is just something you’ve got to live up to. i’ve met the dude y’know, and he’s a cocky little shit but he’s not that bad.”
“so he’s basically like you?”
“hey!”
you sighed, setting your timer for your sweet treat. this was just an interaction you couldn’t keep on avoiding.

I haven’t been on this app for a while, so here is my ask. I like your oc’s, but my favorites are Mavis and Eleanor. Oh, can I please see some art pieces of BTAS Eleanor and Arkhamverse Eleanor
Absolutely!!
I don't have anything new yet, so if you want, here's some older, but some of my favorite pieces of them both!
Eleanor
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of course, I cant NOT mention my comic cover pieces cuz I still feel so proud of their turnout! I know I kinda focus on her and Jervis a lot, even tho I also want to focus on Kathy and Jonathan too (I realize their kinda weak compared to my other ocs) BUT they're just who I go to when I feel soft and mushy and when I want to challenge this lovely but dubious relationship. 🥰
Last one is back in her Pre!Dear Alice era when she would volunteer at the library, reading to kids as her psychiatrist suggested to help her develop attachments.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And not a lot, but some my Arkhamverse! Eleanor too. She's one of my favorite designs so far for the Arkhamverse (I recently made Kathy's and am in the middle of figuring out Mavis'), but of course, it would be one of her more darker and tragic rolls since she would've died before even the prequel game, yet still played an important roll in Jervis' life. (NOTE: The last one is just a alternate "what if" scenario if it was Jervis who got gunned down and not Eleanor).
Hope this is all good enough pieces for you! I'd put more, but tumblr only allows so many pictures to a post lmao!
Please check out the rest of my batman art tags if you want to dogna little deeper 💙🥰

sanarsi’s 2024 favs
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wanted to say at the beginning that this year was an incredible metamorphosis for me, full of happiness and tears but there were definitely more good moments! I’ve been here for less than half a year and honestly? I’ve fallen in love with this fandom. You’re wonderful, I haven’t met such nice people on the internet in a long time who offer so much support. I can’t even describe how grateful I am for the interactions with you and I hope for even more next year!
Someone told me that I should start appreciating my work so that’s what I’m going to do so thank you @iamasaddie @evolnoomym and @gothcsz for the tags. Love you so much!
Adventure here is a great way to spend my free time, and I hope that with time I will be better at this little hobby of mine to give you even more stories that will be more and more emotional and hot! I don’t have many works and they are all fanfics so I’ll try to choose just a few :)
Tumblr media
One Shots
Euphoria with prof Joelllll love that protective man
Okay so actually I really like this shot, I spent some time on it and surprisingly I wrote it faster than much shorter ones. It didn’t have any corrections like most of my works, so it has some mistakes, but I’m determined to improve all of them. I like this vibe and the fact that it’s long enough to get lost in it.
Sweet treat DDDNE obsessed Joel? gimme
Over time I discovered that I was really into that dark topics??? idk but I really enjoyed writing this sick side of my lovely man. I want him to be as fucked up as possible hihi
Cheri Cheri Lady love step daddy vibes with Reed
Something about this man awakens the wild animal in me. I love him and the fact that he will be a wonderful exemplary man only to do all the nasty things with us later. Ughhh gimme that man right now.
Flying days and nights angst with my sweet boy Dieter
This one was wonderful and I discovered that I really like writing angst. I like to come back to it sometimes to give myself some hope in shitty moments. It’s just so neutral but pleasant to read. Really like this one!
Controversially young girlfriend tlou old Joel? don’t need anything else
This has become a classic in some way? One of my first works that gained huge reach which delights me. I fell in love with him and that’s exactly how I’d want him — not caring about the opinions of others and loving me more than life itself, gentle and tender.
Goddess with hubby Oberyn ahhh
That’s exactly how I imagine his love. I love these sweet and emotional shots because sometimes I need a shot of tenderness especially from a man like him.
Hunter/Prey and my faveee dark Dinnnn
I remember that I really liked this shot but it’s probably because I have a soft spot for this masked man. Not to say anything but…. I would do anything for him. Like— ANYTHING.
And I think that’s it? I would like to give more but in other works I know I could give more and I will because I really like most of the ideas I came up with and I know that they just need a little more attention to refine them so that they can come back to you better.

Lovely Moots
I would like to tag everyone, unfortunately tumblr won’t let me but know that I love and appreciate you all. I’ve chosen a few people who have really made my time on this app more enjoyable and I want you to know that I love interacting with you and reading your works. I’ve never seen so many talented people. Yall deserves everything and even more 🫶🏼

𝟏𝟗𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐑 𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖
summary: you’re not a believer in airport crushes. you think the theory that people look better when you’re bound to never see them again is delusional. that is, until fushiguro megumi comes and proves you wrong.
tags: 1.1k wc | f!reader | narration heavy | open ending | nobara and yuuji are the best wing men | strangers to potential lovers | very romanticized | megumi has green eyes here, as stated in the manga | for plot's sake, pretend it isn't weird to call him 'gumi' right off the bat
notes: megumi finally debuts on saekkas (clap clap). also, this may or may not be inspired by real life events hehe
Tumblr media
early mornings have never been your forte. the wind bites your cheeks, prickling your skin with goosebumps that range all the way from your arms down to your legs. even the hoodie you’re wearing– the thickest, comfiest one you own, doesn’t help shield you from the elements.
it doesn't help that the air conditioner is on full blast.
“i swear to god,” you mumble, expression souring as strong winds crash against the airport’s ceiling high windows. in the distance, trees sway around erratically, crashing against each other as the sky turns a bleak gray. “if a hurricane comes, at least let it hit after my flight takes off.”
the line to check in is unnaturally long and it takes almost half an hour until you’re seated at the gate, an hour early before your flight departs. better safe than sorry, your mother always said.
the seating area is nothing but crowded, and as pregnant mother tries to calm her baby’s wails by swaddling him in blankets, you curse yourself for booking economy. a private longue with wifi and food sounds good right now.
tucking yourself into the furthest seat from the wailing baby, you breath out a sigh. your legs have been killing you for the past hour and you have no one to blame but yourself for not choosing more comfortable shoes.
there’s minimal noise in the area, being that it is far more secluded from the others. the only sounds you can hear are of footsteps and bickering from the trio sitting right across from you. one of the boys, the one with pink hair and a red hood over his head, is in what looks to be the deadliest game of rock-paper-scissors you’ve ever seen with a girl that has short brown hair.
your eyes flicker towards the last of the bunch– a boy who looks like he’s around your age with an unruly mess of hair on top of his head. he’s calm, minding his own business with a book in his lap, and legs crossed elegantly. the sweater he wears is black, oversized, and the fabric looks to be so soft.
you’re not a believer in airport crushes. you think the theory that people look better when you’re bound to never see them again is delusional.
you might just eat your own words because he’s actually cute.
you don’t know how many times your eyes have gravitated towards him in the past hour, but you know it’s probably enough to tip his friends off. from the corner of your eye, you see the girl nudge him repeatedly before very obviously pointing your way.
at first, he ignores her– goes back to reading his book like she’s a fly buzzing around his head. he’s probably used to it, you muse to yourself, chuckling in your head.
and then you feel it. the pinpricks of his stare. so pointed and sharp now that it’s directed at you.
the notes app is your only friend as you type against the screen of your phone. you feel stupid– like a schoolgirl who’s just been noticed by her crush, trying to seem busy as if you haven’t been staring at him for god knows how long.
when he looks away from your general direction, you lift your head– trying to get a glimpse of his side profile for, what you promise yourself to be, the last time.
only to meet his gaze straight on.
you hear his friends snicker, nudge their elbows against him as you look to the side, too embarrassed to even think of looking in his direction again. you hear his voice, low and smooth as he snaps, trying to make them stop. they only tease him more.
you hear the name megumi, picture the shy smile that spread on his lips before stiffening, quickly getting up from your seat when the intercom calls your flight number.
the staff are quick to usher the crowds of people into a neat line, herding passengers to their respective gates. your feet move on autopilot, making your way towards the double doors that lead to your plane.
you only stop when someone calls your name, waving frantically as they push through the people to get to you.
megumi stands in front of you, hair even more tousled than before. there’s a bead of sweat on his forehead that slides down the side of his neck and into his sweater. his eyes are green, reminding you of the forest, a piece of jade, and the color of your passport holder in his hand.
“you forgot this.” he holds the official document against his chest before handing it over to you. his fingers brush against yours, delicate and neatly trimmed, before they clench into a fist by his side. “you left it on your seat.”
“right,” you mumble, the sound wispy as if your own breath had been sucked out from your lungs. you bow your head in gratitude while simultaneously trying to shake away the daze clouding your thoughts. “thank you. i owe you one.”
the silence that stretches after is nothing if not awkward. you’re looking anywhere but him, and he’s doing the same. the staff guarding the gate watch– clearly gossiping about your little interaction with the male in front of you.
after a while, megumi nods once before turning back towards his seat, a muffled safe flight leaving his lips.
that's it?
you watch as he strides away, some parts confused and disappointed. his friends wear the same expression as you do, the girl practically screeching into his ear while the boy tries to push him back towards your direction.
megumi doesn’t budge, stone faced as he sits in between them. returning to his book as if nothing significant has happened.
maybe some things just aren’t meant to be.
you send the duo a wave, smiling when they do the same, before showing the staff your ticket and passport, heading straight down the gate, and boarding the plane.
you won't see him again anyway.
Tumblr media
it’s only when you’re seated on a train, a thousand miles away from where you were, gazing out of the window as it speeds across Tokyo that you finally see a note slipped into your passport, one containing his full name and number.
i think you’re pretty. my friends think you’re cool. would you like to get dinner some time? – megumi fushiguro.
your pointer finger traces his handwriting, neat and cursive, and you let out a giggle because for whatever reason, it feels exactly like him.
to: cute sea urchin
[13:57] hey. it's the girl from the airport. [13:58] is sushi okay? it's my treat! i owe you one after all.
from: cute sea urchin
[14:23] yeah, anything's fine with me. see you.
to: cute sea urchin
[14:37] cool! can't wait to see you again, gumi!

Hi friends! I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve posted anything. A long ass while. I’m not writing much these days so haven’t had much to share. Something something tired, overworked, too much scrolling because I can’t be bothered to do much else. The weather’s getting warmer though. Summer is just around the corner, so maybe I’ll have more time to dust off some WIPs. And participate more in fandom again. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Here’s far more than six sentences of my sadly neglected time travel AU Back and Back and Back:
29 October 2013
Baz is 16 and Simon is 17
BAZ
“What’s that one there?” Simon asks, pointing at the night sky through a break in the trees. We’re spread out on the ground in the glen, a blanket laid out beneath us for comfort. Simon is lying on his back, using my legs for a pillow.
“Which one?” I ask.
“The one with the trapezoid shape,” he points again, then looks up and catches my eye. “What? Do you not know that one?”
Shit. I’m too busy gazing down at his beautiful form lounging in my lap instead of looking at what he’s talking about. It’s hard to care about the twinkling stars above when the constellations on his face are far more captivating. Reluctantly, I turn my gaze skyward.
“That’s the head of Draco. The dragon.”
“Yeah?” He shifts a little and smiles.
“Mmm. Some call him a snake, as his body twists and coils up to the left.”
Simon frowns. “No wings?”
“He used to have wings. That way,” I say, pointing. Snow tracks my movement. “But then those stars got relegated to Ursa Minor and he lost them.”
“Well that’s bollocks,” Simon says and I snort a laugh. “We’ve already got a bear.” He points vaguely in the direction of Ursa Major, which we located earlier in the evening. His breath puffs out and curls before dissipating. It’s only October but it’s getting frightfully cold in the evenings and the sun has been down for a while. Simon tucks his fingers under his arms as if he’s just noticed the cold, too.
I look down at his pink cheeks. If I were brave enough, I’d plot him a dragon of his own, there, under his left eye. I’d trace its outline with my finger, ending with the tail curled round his chin. And if he’d let me, I’d tilt his chin up, until I met his lips with my own.
But since I’m a coward I look skyward again instead. I point out heroes of old and weave stories while cataloging the feeling of his head in my lap. If this is as close as I’ll ever get to Simon Snow, then I’ll damned well make sure I remember it for the rest of my life.
Have I written star gazing before? Yes, yes I have. But it’s romantic as hell so sue me for using it twice. I also don’t think I opened my Sky Guide app since the last time i needed to research constellations for fic. 😂
Maybe one day when time, energy and inspiration come into alignment like celestial bodies in the sky, I’ll be able to write more on this fic.

Hi could you write something with jealous reader with Toni Fernandez?
❦ - yo no soy celosa.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warnings:: none
writers notes:: idk what to say bc the thing is, i write these fics in my notes app and then i format them into this app at once so i dont have a lot to say
tags:: @barcapix @n0vazsq @httpsdana @paucubarsisimp @universefcb @mariejuli @nngkay
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
you didn’t mean to be jealous.
really, you didn’t.
but it’s hard not to notice the way she touches his arm when she laughs.
how she leans in a little too close.
how toni doesn’t exactly pull away.
you’re not even with him, not officially. just… something in between.
stolen glances. shared playlists. late night calls that end in sleepy “you still there?”s.
but no labels. no promises.
just enough to hurt when it starts to feel like he’s looking at someone else the way he used to look at you.
you don’t say anything at first.
you smile through it. laugh when he mentions her.
pretend like it doesn’t bother you that she’s always around now.
but it builds.
little by little.
until it’s too much to swallow.
it happens after training. you’re sitting on the edge of the pitch, lacing your shoes, trying to avoid looking at them.
she’s there again. tossing toni a water bottle. brushing her hand over his.
he doesn’t flinch.
and you break.
‘you like her or something?’
he blinks, surprised. ‘what?’
you stand, brushing the dirt off your shorts.
‘just wondering if i should stop wasting my time.’
his brow furrows. ‘wasting your time?’
you scoff, suddenly hating how your voice shakes.
‘you look at her like she’s the only girl in the room. and maybe she is to you. but don’t… don’t act like i haven’t been here too.’
there’s silence.
long. sharp.
then toni steps toward you, slow and sure.
‘you think i like her?’
you shrug, arms crossed, trying not to feel so much.
he laughs. not mockingly. just soft. stunned.
‘you’re insane,’ he says quietly. ‘it’s always been you.’
you blink.
‘then why do you let her—’
‘i don’t even see her like that. i only see you.’
his voice is steady now.
he steps closer. closer.
‘you’re jealous,’ he says, and it’s not a question.
you roll your eyes. ‘no, i’m not.’
he smiles, small, crooked. smug.
‘you are. and it’s kinda cute.’
you shove him lightly. ‘shut up.’
he catches your wrist. gentle. sure.
‘don’t ever think i’d want anyone else. you’re the only one that gets to make me nervous.’
and just like that
the ache eases.
just a little.

hii!! im new to this entire girlblogging thing and it all seems so exciting and fun ><! it really motivates me
i dont really know how to go about it though :( like how do i girlblog?? what is girlblogging like exactly?? like i get the idea of it but what do u "exactly" do? sorry if this sounds silly 😭😭
and seriously i love love lovee ur page so much !! it has made me so much more productive and im satisfied with my progress :D
hope u have a great day ahead tysm for reading through this :3
hii angel !!
first of all you're so cute for this message and not silly at all i promise!! i was literally in your place once like staring at girlblogs thinking, “omg this is so pretty and motivating but... what do i actually do??”
so i’m super happy you asked here’s everything i’ve learned, and a veery siiimple way how to start a blog !
🗒️ i’m so sorry for not answering earlier or maybe my answer is not effective 100% i’ve been entering my exam season lately so things have been a bit crazy, and i haven’t had the time to talk much or reply to everyone in my inbox. i didn’t want you to feel ignored or left there especially after such a sweet and kind message like yours.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
girlblogging isn’t about being perfect or aesthetic 24/7
it’s about showing up for yourself it’s like ur own little soft space on the internet where you post the things that matter to you, your goals, your routines, your messy thoughts, your progress, your healing or playlists .. whatever makes you feel like you.
you can make it look cute if you want (and trust me it's fun ) but the real magic is when you post with meaning.
when i started my girlblog…
i made this blog honestly because i needed to hold myself accountable. i was struggling with discipline, with staying on track, with self-worth... and i told myself:
“if i create a space where i act like i’m becoming the best version of me maybe i’ll actually become her.”
and that’s exactly what started happening.
so like when i post about discipline or motivation or glow ups ... I’m not just sharing advice. i’m reminding myself too j don’t post things just because they’re trendy. i post things that reflect where i am or where i want to be.
and once i achieve something i love sharing what helped me because maybe it'll help another girl too. THAT'S A GIRL BLOGGER
so how do you start?
this is what i recommend:
grab a piece of paper or just open your notes app and write:
what’s something i care about right now?
what’s helping me grow?
what’s something i wish i had guidance on?
and then start posting about that.
for example:
﹙ ✿ ﹚ if you’re focused on becoming more organized, post your routines, planners, study tips, or cozy to-do lists
﹙ ✿ ﹚ if you’re trying to glow up, post your skincare, your healthy habits, your challenges (10 days of productivity / 10 days for building a habits .... )
﹙ ✿ ﹚ if you’re healing, post your affirmations, journal prompts, or how you’re learning to treat yourself kindly
you don’t need a niche seriously.
girlblogging isn’t about fitting into a box. it’s not “only” skincare or “only” study stuff. it’s about being a whole human.
some girls post about beauty, some about healing, some about routines, some about faith or wellness or school or food or writing or dreams...
and some post about all of it.
how do you grow?
this part gets easier the more you enjoy what you’re posting (read that again.)
💌 post consistently (even small stuff counts! And always reblog stuff that inspir you)
💌 interact with other girlbloggers comment, follow, hype them up it builds the cutest community ever
💌 use tags like #girlblog #girlbogger #selfgrowth #studyblog ... it helps people find you
💌 and most importantly: be honest, be kind, and be real.
one of the most helpful things i learned:
→ post what you need to see not what looks cool not what everyone else is doing but what you wish someone had told you. what you needed when you were feeling lost.
that’s how my blog started growing when i began writing like i was helping my past self. and yes other girls needed those same words too so u don’t have to have it all figured out. you just need to start.
thank you again for saying such sweet things about my blog knowing it helped you feel productive and satisfied with your progress actually made me tear up you’re gonna do amazing, i can feel it and if you ever need support, inspiration, or anything i’m right here !
now go post something you love and let the journey begin<3

fic recs — my faves of 2024! 💛 ✨
inspired by @strawberrypinky — thank you for including my baby Dealbreaker and for being a source of positivity in this space 💛
I haven’t been able to read a ton of fics this year because I’ve been writing my own like an absolute insane person (with a 355,813 word count on AO3 for 2024 as of the time of writing this and an untold number of words in my Notion app) but the ones that I have read I have adored and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you and share them!
If I have commented or left kudos on your fic or WIP this year, know that I loved it ❤️ even if it is not on this list because I did not remember it off the top of my head.
All of these are BG3 fics!
Tumblr media
Longfics
A Gift, A Curse — from @elemit
Important tags: dead dove, coercion, non-con, manipulation, torture, abuse
F Dark Urge x Ascended Astarion
Is the fic that got me hooked on Astarion fics! I cracked this bad boy open when it was already at about 130 chapters in March and binged it in a single weekend. I have devoured each and every chapter ever since 🤌🏻 This story is woven together in a way that is so unpredictable to the reader, and yet with so much care and attention given to it. I will be tuned in until the very end.
Sonnet of the Lone Cardinal — from @brain-rot-central
important tags: dead dove, manipulative relationship, dubious consent, mental instability, more
F Dark Urge x Ascended Astarion
One of the most beautifully written pieces of dark romance I have ever laid my eyes upon ✨ The very first chapter of Sonnet dives right into a compelling story and dynamic between Tavaria and Astarion, and by the second chapter I already found myself feeling for Tavaria as a protagonist. I’m rooting for the pairing, but I’m rooting for her more and in fanfiction I think that really speaks to the authors ability to craft the story.
Midnight Chimes — from Doviekins on AO3 (I could not find them on tumblr, but if you’re here, hi!)
important tags: trauma, depression, anxiety
F Tav x Astarion
I discovered Midnight Chimes after Doviekins commented on GML about writing to allow a Tav to have a genuine reaction to Astarion’s act 2 confession scene. The aftermath of that scene is where the plot of Midnight Chimes begins, and I think it is such an interesting and angsty look into how that confession really could put a fissure in Astarion & Tav’s relationship. I love stories that give the protagonist a real personality and real emotions, and this one definitely checks those boxes ❣️
Tumblr media
One-shots
Stories I enjoyed for plot purposes only… obviously.
The Learned Observer — from @obsessedwhyyes
Gale POV watching Tav & Astarion get it on at the campfire… dear god 🤌🏻
You Will Know — from @deadly-diminuendo
AA being a freaky weirdo obsessed with Tav 😫
Sweet Dreams, Darling — also from @deadly-diminuendo
Something I did not know could be so exciting…Somnophilia 💤 But genuinely I love the premise of this one and all of deadly-diminuendo’s fics are extremely well-written!
Tumblr media
I hope to be more of a reader in 2025, though I hope to continue writing at the pace I have been so, we’ll see if I can balance the two 🫣 shoutout to every single person who has published work made from your own brain this year whether it has gotten a lot of attention or not. You’re doing great 💛

A Message For Those Struggling With Shifting
⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.
A Message:
I know it feels demotivating. I know when you open a social media app and see everyone’s success, story times, and etc, the only thing you can think is:
“Why can’t this be me? What am I doing wrong? Why haven’t I done it yet? Why is it taking so long? Can I just not do it? Is it impossible?”
The longer you keep thinking things like that, the more you will spiral downward into that hole that consumes you, thinking you’re not good enough.
And I know that’s what it feels like—that it consumes you completely, and you feel as though your trapped in a place you don’t want to be in, and the only option for escape you can’t even do.
But this simply isn’t true.
Think of all the times you’ve opened your phone to see everyone talking about shifting. And instead of spiraling downward, go upward.
If everyone has posted this much content about the same thing, and not even online…people have made literal books about this topic called “shifting realities.”
And for the sake of argument, literally the tag “ #shifting ” on Tumblr has over 16k members in it.
If that many people believe in it, a lot of which have actually done it, why do you think you can’t either?
Let me put it this way…
You aren’t special.
I’m sorry, I know that sounds bad, but let me explain: You are not special. Everyone on this planet has the ability to shift, and millions have—as a matter of fact, EVERYONE has, unknowingly. You shift when you decide to wear a red shirt instead of a blue one, and etc etc.
If so many can shift, so can you. You have the same tools and abilities as the next person.
You can. And you will.
You just have to believe it. Believe it in a way where you don’t even question it—believe it so much that when you suddenly do get the thought, “Why haven’t I done it yet?” Your next thought is, “That’s silly. I can do it whenever I want to.”
You can do anything you set your mind to. You just have to believe you can.
⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.
Why I Made This Post:
I made this post mainly for myself. I made it so I can look back on it and remember what I should be thinking instead of what I am thinking.
It’s hard to know that I hold the same abilities as everyone else, and I’ve shifted countless times without knowing and on accident, and I’m amazing at manifesting so much so that whatever I want can come into the 3D instantly.
But when it comes to Shifting, every thing I try doesn’t work. I know I can do it and I 100% believe it’s real, and every time I do try, I feel like I’ve shifted but when I wake up and I’m still in my CR, I just feel…I don’t even know how to explain it.
It’s like you’ve scheduled a vacation and you’re looking forward to it for months, and the night before you think, “Omg, I can’t wait! Tomorrow’s the day I go on the vacation I’ve been waiting for!” And then you wake up the next day and see that a reason you don’t even know, your vacation is canceled and your money you spent on it got sent back to you. It feels like that.
And I know I just need to assume I can do it, and that I shouldn’t think of it as “trying” to shift but instead as “deciding” to shift, and I do do all of those things. But for some reason I’m still here, and it makes me feel things I can’t even explain.
But that doesn’t mean I’ll give up. I know I can do it, and I believe that it’s real and I can do it so I know I will.
I just wish it will happen sooner rather than later.
⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.ೃ࿔*:・⋆.
Last Thoughts:
Sorry if this post is weird or like, I don’t know, hard to read. And I didn’t mean to dump all my personal struggles into this, but that’s why I started posting on this app in the first place. I want to help others by telling what I’ve learned, and I want learn things from other people.
If you’ve read this far, thanks. And I hope you know that you can do it. If you don’t believe it, know that I believe you can.
Have a good rest of your day.
Sincerely,
Your Neighborly Weirdo
