𐚁๋࣭⊹ on occasion, when you're both up to it, you decide to do the reading outdoors! you'd go to check out new coffee shops and read while enjoying warm drinks and relish in each other's company. ⋅˚₊‧ you'd switch it up from time to time, and take your reading dates to libraries and parks^^ sungho says this allows you both to get out more, and that it's good to get some much needed sunshine! ☆૮꒰ˊᗜˋ* ꒱ა he'll also plan a day for you to visit art galleries or museums sometimes (if ur into that ^^) knowing you appreciate admiring art in all shapes and forms. he'll hold your hand as you both enjoy inspecting different exhibits and will point out the tiny details to you. he's just considerate like that :'( <3

𐚁๋࣭⊹ as I mentioned before, riwoo will be super respectful of your reading time. he'll only occasionally pop in to softly ask if you need him to bring you anything, offering you snacks and water! >< but otherwise, he'll remain as silent as possible, not wanting to disturb you :( he might just settle next to you and lay his head in your lap as he closes his eyes, basking in the comfort of the moment.*·.˚⊹ other types of minimal skinship with him would include him idly playing with the fingers on your free hand, tucking a strand of hair that's fallen in your face back into its place, and pressing his lips to your shoulder / the top of your head as he passes past where you're situated. 。゜(՞っ ‹՞)

𐚁๋࣭⊹ riwoo gets so worried about you sometimes, and won't hold back on confronting you about paying more attention to your health! >:( will scold you if you stay up late to read, constantly emphasizing the importance of sleep. might also comment on your bad posture, as he delicately traces the line of your spine to ease the tension in your back. ૮(*´. . ) he'll also keep reminding you not to read in the dark, to avoid straining your eyes.. but besides just being fussy, he'll express his care through subtle acts of service^^ he'll put on some calm backround music if you're fine w that, clean your glasses for you (if you wear some) and leave silly little love notes in your books, just to make you giggle once you've found them. </3 he's the best really.... 𐚁๋࣭⊹ he's the embodiment of a super clingy boyfie, who's curious about everything you do! and your love for books certainly doesn't slip past him ^^ he finds it so very fascinating that you're able to occupy yourself for so long just reading words... on a piece of paper.. ₍ᐡ-᷅ ·̫ -᷄ᐡ₎? he actually thinks it's a really great skill, and he admires you immensely for it! I don't see him as the type to read, although he'd probably give it a try for your sake, to see what has you so entertained for hours on end!! ><

a/n: idgaf about timeline or continuity with the show when I do this series of oneshots, it's just kind of an alternate version of the show where Hopper is still here around the events of season 4 ig (also I LOVE this gif of joseph omg)

It was late at night, but you weren’t sleeping. You were taking advantage of the quiet house and catching up on some reading that finally wasn’t for school. You laid with the book at the foot of your bed, and your feet dangling over your pile of stuffed animals right by your pillows. 

It was so comfortable, you forgot about the world around you. 

And you were only brought back by the terrifying sound of someone knocking on your window. It scared you right out of your haze, at least until you looked outside and realised who it was. 

Eddie was standing right outside your bedroom wall with a stupid grin on his face, and he was pointing to the windowsill, wordlessly asking you to let him in. 

After rolling your eyes and marking your spot in the book, you got up and opened the window for your boyfriend. 

“What are you doing here?” You asked, leaning over the separation to peck his lips quickly. 

“Not quite the warm welcome I was expecting.” He grunted, using the log you had placed under your window to climb in your room. “You’re not happy to see me?”

“You scared the hell out of me ‘cause you didn’t tell me you were coming over.”

“I didn’t know I was coming over until I was already in my van. I haven’t seen you in forever, plus I had something I wanted to show you.”

The last part was intriguing, but you still wanted to correct his dramatics. You’ve learned that if you didn’t act as the voice of reason sometimes, he would start believing his own exaggerations.

“It’s been two days since you last saw me.” And it didn’t take long for you to give in to whatever he was hiding. “But what is it that I have to see?” 

He let out an exaggerated sigh as he flopped down on the end of your bed. He looked up at you with fake sadness. “I should have known you would only like me for material things, Madonna.” 

“So what if I was a material girl? You’d still love me anyways.” 

He started speaking like he was in the school play, which he would never do. “It’s just sad—”

You jumped towards him to cover his mouth with your hand. As much as you loved his antics and would encourage it at any other time, it was all quiet in your house and you were petrified of waking your family. 

“Are you crazy?” You asked him in a hushed scold. 

He just nodded happily since he couldn’t speak with your hand still over his mouth. 

“If my dad hears you, he’ll burst into the room with a gun in his hand. You might be able to charm the pants off of me effortlessly, but I think you’d get shot if you tried to test your charisma on the chief of police.” 

You cautiously took your hand away from Eddie’s face while he looked at you with a mischievous glint in his eyes. 

“Stop looking at me like that and show me what you wanted me to see in the first place.” You told him, sternly but lovingly. 

“Wow, you really are the chief’s daughter.” He joked as he stood up and took off his leather jacket. 

You figured he was just making himself comfortable, but when he started taking off the t-shirt he was wearing underneath the coat, you wondered what was really going on. 

Then you saw it. 

On his right side, where his rib cage ends, there was a new tattoo. A flaming sword that you knew was based on his current—and favourite—Dungeons and Dragons campaign of his. 

He pointed to the pommel of the weapon, which was a heart shaped gemstone. 

“Did you see the end? It doesn’t have anything to do with the game, but I designed it while thinking of you.” He smiled at you, and you smiled back. “Do you like it?”

“I love it, Eds.” You answered sincerely. “When did you get it done?”

“Friday. Right after your dad picked you up from the mall.”

“Did it hurt?”

He shook his head as he gently pushed you back against your pillows, then positioned himself on top of you.

“Not as much as it hurts to be away from you.”

You had to stifle your own laugh at his corniness. As stupid as it was, you did feel kind of flattered by him at that moment. And that’s exactly why you let him kiss you, despite you being just a few decibels away from your sleeping father waking up and grounding you permanently for sneaking a boy in. 

But you pushed all your worries aside and let him press his luscious lips against yours. God, how you couldn’t get enough of that sensation. 

You loved how he kissed you just because he likes to kiss you, how he used flavoured chapstick so he could heal his chapped lips, and how he always tasted faintly of cigarettes and the lemon candies you got him hooked on. 

You loved all that almost as much as what came next. 

When he moved his lips from your mouth to your jaw, and then your neck. He nipped the skin just lightly and then continued to work his magic. You had both noted another time just like this that your bodies must be made for each other, and this exact moment was perfect proof for that claim. 

“Oh, god, Eddie. You’re so good at this.” You praised, trying to keep your voice down. 

He mumbled an ‘mhm?’ against your throat. He was such a sucker for your affirmations. 

“Yeah. Just be careful not to leave a bruise.”

Eddie lifted his head up, causing your face to morph into a frown from the expression of pleasure just a second ago. 

“You don’t want little reminders of my love?” He asked, lips exaggeratedly pouted. 

“Not when my family can see them, loverboy.”

He seemed satisfied with that response, returning his attention to you and practically attacking your neck with his kisses. The way his mouth was worshipping your neck damn near put you in a trance. It was so good that you didn’t even notice the soft knock at your door, nor the opening that followed it. 

When your younger sister called out your name softly, that’s when you realised the importance of not letting your guard down. You tried to push Eddie off of you as he hadn’t seen Eleven there yet, but he got up quickly once he did notice. 

You urged him to sit down and stay silent while you pulled El away from your bedroom and into the bathroom, all while your sister stared at you with a wide-eyed expression. 

Eleven was the first one to speak between you two. “Who was that in your room?”

“That was my friend.” You said, partially honest. He was your friend, he was just also more. “His name is Eddie.”

“What were you and Eddie doing?”

You racked your brain, trying to think of something believable to say that would get your sister off your back. You really should have prepared a lie before this, because it was proving to be more difficult than you would have thought; of course, you never really thought about your sister catching you making out with your shirtless boyfriend.

“We were playing.” You answered as confidently as possible. 

“Playing?” 

You nodded. “Yeah, you know when you and I play-fight, like wrestling? When Dad sometimes thinks we’re hurting each other but we’re really just having fun?”

“So you and Eddie were just having fun?”

“Mhm.” You ran a hand through her hair, feeling somewhat guilty about your lie. “Why? Were you worried about me?”

She didn’t seem fazed at all by your fingers combing through her hair, but her cheeks flooded with pink when you asked if she knocked on your door out of concern for you. 

“I heard you were awake and I wanted to know what you were doing.” Eleven told you. 

It really was nothing embarrassing, she’s just a shy girl. And now you felt less guilty about lying since you know she was just curious rather than upset. 

“Well, I was just playing with my friend. But, don’t tell Dad about Eddie, okay?”

“Why not?”

Another question you didn’t quite have an answer for. Luckily, you were quick enough on your toes that your little sister wouldn’t notice the nonsense spilling from your mouth. 

“You know Dad can be a fun sponge sometimes. Like when he spends an hour questioning your friends before you can hang out, or when he won’t let us turn the couch into a pillow fort. If he hears about Eddie, he won’t let us have fun together anymore, and I would be really sad if I couldn’t see my friend.”

She seemed to be eating your excuse up, knowing exactly what you meant.

“Okay. I won’t tell him.” She agreed. “I don’t want you to be sad.”

AITA for purposely using the wrong pronouns for my “friend”?

I (24f) am a bit of a gamer, I’ve been gaming online since I was 15 and I’m in a discord server with the people I play with. The server is decently sized, there’s about 25 people in it, it’s mostly a chill place, we’re all nice to each other and nobody really cared about anyone’s sexuality. We’ve a few trans people in the server and everyone uses their correct pronouns.

A few months ago one of the guys (24m) stopped taking drugs. At first we were delighted because honestly we thought he was gonna OD one of these days and we were all kinda worried about him. However he got really into like andy tate and the manosphere. It makes everyone kinda uncomfortable when he says stuff like “real men aren’t emotional” (and then proceeds to have a hissy fit when he loses a game) but nobody really calls him out because we’ve known him for ten years and nobody wants to start shit.

Anyway he and I were close for a long time and about two weeks ago we were the only ones in the server, when he starts this absolutely insane and unhinged rant about how much he hates pronouns. I asked him why he cares so much when they’re just words and everyone has them, including him. He told me he doesn’t care at all actually and thinks people who do care are pussies. So I asked if he’d care if I used she/her for him instead of he/him. He said he wouldn’t.

I’ve been exclusively using she/her to refer to him for the past two weeks (other than this post as I think it would get confusing) and he gets so annoyed when I do it. Last night he asked me to stop and when I asked if he finally understood how hurtful and uncomfortable it is to be misgendered he said “no I don’t care at all, you’re just being a stubborn bitch and im sick of your attitude so just stop”

I just left the call and since then he’s been blowing up my dms calling me all sorts of names. I asked some of our friends about it, most of them agree he’s just turned from our chill friend to a total dickbag, but some of them think I should just stop since it’s still misgendering and he did ask me to stop doing it.

I’m a bit torn, usually I’ve no issue with using someone’s pronouns, but his idgaf attitude paired with the fact that he clearly does care and just won’t admit to being wrong is really pissing me off, and I feel like he deserved a taste of his own medicine. (He also regularly misgenderes our trans friends but only when they aren’t on the server)

You are not wrong. You are absolutely correct. Living with actual health hazards (there is rotting food on the floor and mildewing clothes) is very different than "I have a mountain of clean clothes that aren't put away cause my depression has been really bad the last few weeks so my room is messy or I can't sit on the left side of the couch". If you can go to work then you can take a day or a half-day off once a month and clean up after yourself for the betterment of yourself and your symptoms. Part of getting better and improving your situation and health (both physical and mental) is doing the work (which YES is hard) to actually care for your body and lived environment.

We talk about other people enabling us to continue bad habits and harmful behaviors but we don't talk enough about the things we do to ourselves. Which are just as if not MORE important. So thank you for saying that! It matters and people need to hear uncomfortable truths!

And anyone who read that post and took personal issue with it because they actually live like that and it made them immensely uncomfortable because of their own shame around it which you literally (and I can't stress this enough) have nothing to do with needs to reevaluate their situation and accept that they can't live without a caretaker because they're at a point in their life where they can't adequately meet their own basic needs. If someone can't legally do it to a child (providing only unclean clothing, biohazard-filled living space, spoiled food, unclean dishes to eat it with, etc.) without it being abused/neglect, then they are not meeting their own needs and I understand that it might hurt to hear that, but it's the truth and it's a disservice to everyone to not say it. If people aren't saying it, then no one knows where the line is that says "if you cross this you need help and you need it NOW".

So, thank you for making that post even though people are losing their minds over it. I'm sure it's hard to hear that you're not doing a good enough job, but sometimes that needs to be said and, yes, they might not be doing a good enough job BECAUSE of a disability or other issues but that changes literally nothing. It's still not good enough and it can be improved only by them intentionally trying to improve it. Dancing around stuff like this and trying to say nothing that will upset/bother/hurt anyone is genuinely a disservice.

It's. Frustrating. It's so frustrating how absolutely no one wants to take responsibility for themselves the moment it gets hard. The moment it gets uncomfortable they shut down and scream that you're being ableist for asking an adult to take responsibility for themselves even if they have a mental illness.

The thing is, life IS harder when you have a disability, mental or otherwise. But guess what? That is never going to change. The world will not stop for you just because it's unfair. There is no point in kicking your feet and pouting that it's unfair that you have to do more work than that neurotypical person to keep yourself clean and healthy because nobody did that TO you, it just is. And like, life is unfair to everybody. That is the one universal thing we all experience. Sorry I guess?

I also just like, can not stand how people flip their absolute shit the moment I stop talking to them like little kids. I didn't baby them or coo and go "uwu it's okay if you have mold in your house!" so they immediately took me saying "youre an adult, you need to act like one. Actually, I really can't see Mileven getting married like Millie said... I think getting married and having kids is an idea that really scare Mike.

"Oh? Who is he?" Rudy asks, looking up.

"A woman?" Alejandro asks, appearing to be a bit surprised.

"Aye. I took a peep over Price's shoulder at her file. Apparently, she's the only survivor from her entire company. Mission gone wrong." Soap shrugs. "I didn't get to read much more before Price kicked me out."

"The only survivor? In the entire company? How the hell is that even possible?" Gaz remarks, astonished.

"Might've been lucky. Who knows. She should be arrivin' soon."

You hop out the heli with a small grunt and raise your gaze to the skies. The sun's glare forced you to cover your eyes with a hand, and you couldn't help but grin.

You were going to be on the Task Force 141. The group known for their badassery. You must've had enough badass in you to join the band of badasses.

You turn to your pilot with a cocky smile. "Thanks for dropping me off past the due time."

The pilot flips you off and ducks back inside his cockpit, put up with your shenanigans. A lot of people were annoyed by you, but did you care? Nope.

"Sergeant L/N, you're late," a gruff voice announces behind you, a tinge of irritation lightly coating his tone.

"I prefer chronologically challenged," you say, turning around as you said it. You came face-to-face with a man with a handelbar mustache and a funny hat. His blue eyes pierce through you and you had to admit it, this man had an aura surrounding him, the kind that warned you not to mess around with this guy.

But aside being intimidated by him, you were like 'Hot damn!' He looks delectable in person.

Captain Price arches a brow at your response. "Is this how you greet your new superior officer?"

You stop staring at the new eye candy and salute. "Sergeant Y/N "Casanova" L/N, at your service, sir!"

A look of slight approval flashes behind his eyes. "Nice to finally meet you, Casanova. I'm Captain John Price, and welcome to the task force."

There are other men behind him, and you tilt your head a little to get a good look at them. Two Hispanic looking men (awooga), another with a mohawk (sweating for real), one with dark skin staring at you (hey baby boy) and one more beside him with a skull mask (he could mess you up for all you cares with them mysterious eyes) and to the left of this guy, was one still wearing his combat gear, helmet, goggles, and all. Not gonna lie, he looks very pouncable...

"...Nova? Casanova!"

You jerk out of your fantasies with a sheepish smile. "Yes, sir?"

"I'd appreciate it if you quit daydreaming. We have work to do," Price orders as the soldiers behind him turn on their heels and began walking in the opposite direction.

You nod earnestly, trotting beside the captain as you all head towards the training area.

"Says in your files you're excellent with a gun," Price says more to himself than you, looking over the notes your old officer had made of you. He glances up at you and nods his head at a pistol on the table. "Why don't you show us?"

"I got you, Cap'n," you answer with another grin. You take the pistol and reload it with one smooth move. If you knew anything, it would be weapons. God, you loved the sleekness and the shine of any rifle, the loud thudding of the machine gun, the clean shot of a sniper... The guns you handled before were a real beauty.

What? Guns are very sexy.

After putting on the necessary equipment for the shooting range, you embrace the natural stance of holding a weapon and aim at the target. You slow your breathing until it completely stops, and squeeze the trigger.

Bullseye.

"Nice shot," he comments. "But can you handle targets that move quickly?"

You scoff inwardly. Was this handsome man doubting you? Oh, you'll show him alright.

Price gestured to Gaz to the switch. The targets come to life, going side to side slowly.

With zero hesitation, you aim and fire. Every shot hit home, right in the center, a bullseye everytime. Gaz increased the speed. The ringing of your gun echoes through the warehouse. Faster. Non-stop reloading and shooting, each done precisely and effeciently.

Soap whistles under his breath and turns toward Ghost. "She almost beat your record, LT."

He didn't respond.

You glance behind you to see Roach holding up a timer and Alejandro flashes you a grin full of white teeth. Rudy next to him gives you a thumbs-up. Your heart rises a little. Roach shows it to Price who gives it a look, then looks back at you.

"Maybe we should skip a few things." Your heart swells. He asked, you delievered. Perfection.

You would show them that you belonged on this team. Even if the implications meant that you shouldn't have been here at all.

The issue is the same: people can't READ & will complain about everything just to get attention or others to say "you're my hero 😍" like the crystals they are

People should've expected this just by reading the characters' philias like, hello? One of them is turn3d 0n by corpses & another for murdering. If that wasn't enough, read the warnings of the game. & If that wasn't enough enough, you're literally fück¡ng with Beelzebub & Leviathan while they're dying (bloodshed cards) & in addition to that, angels are not good & Rara (I love that someone calls him that way) is a cannibal 💀

"b-but obey me--" I'M TIRED OF THAT, if you wanna be a softie & play obey me then do so, but don't come at all of us saying "this is unethical cuz you're r4p¡ng the angels 😭". First, it's just a game my dude chill, second, if you feel uncomfortable just ignore it as y'all do with REAL victims, third, you can always uninstall the game & last but not least... R4p3play is a real kink about a consent roleplay.

Now, angels do end up consenting at the end (you can correct me if I'm wrong), but their whole personality is like "I hate demons so I'll never admit I liked it hooray"

I've also seen people complain about Gabi's story the most & like, as if you didn't know the character enough or you can't see the card you're gonna pay for. Welp, most of us would pay for that card if we could but ✨70 bucks paywall✨ so you can consider yourself lucky if you can afford to pay that for a single character on a game cuz most of us are studying adults without an income

Again, you may not like a story & THAT'S OKAY, but you've been warned since the beginning UvUr

El problema es el mismo: la gente NO sabe leer y se van a quejar por todo para tener atención y que la gente les diga "eres mi héroe 😍" como los cristalitos que son

La gente se lo tenía que haber esperado, osea, ¿hola? Uno se pone to burro con los cadáveres y otro por asesinar. Por si no fuera suficiente, hay que leer las advertencias del juego. Y si eso no fuera suficientemente suficiente, te estás tirando a Belcebú y Leviatán mientras se mueren (no sé cómo es el nombre de estas cartas en español pero ya todos sabemos cuales son) y para más inri, los ángeles no son buenecitos y Rara (me encanta que alguien le haya llamado así) es caníbal 💀

Lo primero, es un juego así que cálmate tío, lo segundo, si no te gusta ignóralo como haces con las víctimas REALES, tercero, siempre puedes desinstalar el juego y por último pero no menos importante... El r4p3play (juego de v¡0l4c¡0n) es un fetiche real y consentido

Ahora, los ángeles acaban consintiendo al final (corregidme si me equivoco), pero su personalidad se basa en "odio a los demonios así que nunca voy a admitir que me gustó yupii"

También he visto que la gente se queja sobre todo de la historia de Gabi como si no conocieran al personaje o no pudieran ver la carta por la que están dispuestos a pagar. Bueno, muchos de nosotros pagaríamos por esa carta si pudiéramos pero ✨70 pavos✨ así que considérate afortunado si te puedes permitir pagar eso por un solo personaje en un juego porque la mayoría de nosotros somos jóvenes adultos sin ingresos

Idgaf if PluralKit and SimplyPlural were made by endogenics. These are two really fucking useful things that can be used by all plurals.

From what I know, SimplyPlural and PluralKit are NOT endo exclusive, but correct me if I’m wrong.

I get if you’re anti-endo and don’t wanna use endo resources, but Jesus Christ it is not that deep unless these resources are endo-exclusive. Also they’re really really useful. Just because you’re anti something, that doesn’t mean that everything that something makes is horrible and useless.

Again, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe SimplyPlural or PluralKit were made to be endo exclusive.

It’s the same as PluralPedia. It supports endos, but it’s not stupid when it comes to spreading real and accurate information. Just because someone supports endos doesn’t mean they’re uneducated.
