#SASHA       SASHA is the ninth trainee to be revealed on dreamquest! Sasha, born in the Philippines and was mostly raised in America, isn't new to the trainee system, or survival shows in general. Sasha has always wanted to be a star. Taking dance classes from a very young age, she was always the try-hard, front and center with the straightest pointed toes and the most painfully wide smile. She made her first online auditions in middle school, not hearing back from any of the companies. But she wasn't going to give up anytime soon. With minimal Korean but plenty of charm under her belt, she managed to make it to the second round of 3 companies. Although YG was her dream, the only company to end up accepting her in the end was Jellyfish entertainment. After only 3 months of training, she was entered into Produce 48 as a contestant. Although she was eliminated in the 2nd round, and her ego took a big hit, she still wasn’t going to let her dreams go down the drain. Almost a full year after, she was beginning to get impatient with Jellyfish, feeling like she was getting nowhere. None of their groups were that popular anyway, and she was determined to make it BIG. When she was street scouted by a representative from Rainbow entertainment who was looking for trainees with a quote “global” look to debut in the next 2 years, she signed as fast as she possibly could, slacking in her training at Jellyfish to get dropped from her contract. Although she was put in a debut group almost immediately after joining RBE, it’s been almost 4 years of training and 2 years since she was actually supposed to make her debut and she’s been getting restless. As soon as her first debut date was delayed, she went on the first survival show she could find, willing to claw her way to a debut just like before if she had to. She appeared on Hybe’s Dream Academy, but was eliminated in the finale. Although she was met with promises of a new debut date on return to Rainbow, she is hesitant on trusting their word and will take any chance she can get to fight for her debut on her own. This time, she’s sure it will stick.
