Whenever you see him hug Deadlock because she had a rough day, whenever you see him squeeze Omen's hand as he tells him that he is no monster, whenever you see him reassuring the newer agents that everything will be fine when they're worried about going on their first mission, it breaks something inside of you. You wish that he would care about you as much as he cares for the others, that you would mean as much to him. Jealousy fills your body whenever you wish it was you in their place.

All your cries for help go seemingly unnoticed and unanswered. You just want him to see how much you're hurting, want him to pull you into a soft hug and whisper into your ear that everything will be fine and he will be by your side every step of the way. And he did that. For everyone but you.

Even if you tried, you couldn't tell where your relationship with him went down the drain. You couldn't tell if it was your fault, if you had pushed him away, or maybe even hurt him unintentionally.

All you knew was that he wasn't there for you anymore and it was so hard to deal with.
