Am I the only one who thinks that part of the reason that Andrew is so opposed to getting close to Aaron is because of how Drake used threats on incest against him. His first introduction to Aaron was tainted by drakes sick fucking fantasy’s and i genuinely think that if that hadn’t happened they would’ve bonded a whole lot sooner.

Is it odd to anybody else that Lunar blatantly doesn’t care about what happened to Nexus? It has been eating at me but I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it. They were still brothers that whole year before Nexus turned evil, and Lunar outright said “Yeah, we were never close.” Absolutely no reaction to learning about his death besides “okay, cool, I don’t really care.” The amount of apathy for the situation that Lunar has is almost unsettling. Like, is Sun really the only one bothered by this situation? Is he the only one who remembers Nexus was their brother before he was their enemy? I know Nexus irreparably broke that when he turned, but that doesn’t just erase everything that already happened.

The thing for me is that we’ve seen how Lunar reacts to people who have hurt them. They literally had a conversation, with Nexus, where Nexus asks why he cares so much about Eclipse. Lunar wants him dead, then gets depressed over what they had, then feels like he wants to go back to Eclipse. Which is a reaction that abuse survivors do tend to have. Lunar still cares about Eclipse as much as he hates it, but he used to have a much better relationship with Nexus and doesn’t care at all? It just doesn’t track. It doesn’t feel right.

…which is to say, I am indeed a little upset that Mizu did not directly tell Ena “I am a trans girl/transfeminine” or something to that, and never was able to come out fully of her own volition (as is her right). I do think this writing decision was done partially out of cowardice from clpl, out of fear of upsetting some fans (which does disappoint me). and I’m not saying in the slightest that the writers, and how they handle Mizuki, are immune to skepticism and criticism about the way they go about queer rep. Mizu5 and Ena5 are by no means perfect, as with everything else in this game’s story.

but come on. Ena5 may not have been explicit, but it absolutely is not queerBAIT, like, in the slightest. Mizuki is still very intentionally intended to be trans and the story is not going to retract that (in fact, it’s being FURTHERED, because now Ena Knows for real). The subtext is now pretty much Text without the Sub and arguably has been for a While, especially post mizu5. also, it’s not like they will never ever talk about Mizuki’s queerness again. Her coming out was Messy, and no coming out is ever one-and-done cleanly, and Ena still has so much more to learn and understand about Mizuki; really, Ena5 was intended as a starting point for a slow road to understanding and healing.

Those of you following me may be aware that I’m trying to draw every room/area in Undertale for the 10th anniversary.

You know, just for fun, since I like this game a lot and have liked it since I was like. 10. and i’ve done a lot of art for it and putting it all together like this is a fun way to showcase both how insane about this game i am and how far i’ve come as an artist since i first got into it.

Well, I’ve finished the Ruins and this is my cry for help because i have No fucking clue how to format this. current iteration is a 1fps slideshow made in flipaclip which is… arguably watchable i guess but like. there has to be a better way. surely.
