because tsukasa is a gender neutral name afaik and because of how much tsukasa loves and appreciates his family (thinking about his bday 2023 card with this one), i like to believe that when he outed he decided not to change the name that his parents gave him at birth (i'm writing this thinking about tmasc kasa but it goes for tfem too i believe) because he's still thankful to them for naming him so. he still uses some derivatives of it when he feels extremely dysphoric, but he generally sticks with it for life

or, alternatively: the first thing tsukasa did after outing to his parents and saki was asking them to give him a new name because he wanted it to be from them as it's so special to him

now the two are on the run and having an adventure as they evade the authorities of kingdom's and maybe solve a centuries old mystery that involve an alchemist, a siren, and a phoenix.
