imagine the morning after patching miles g after a mission

miles and you had been together for a while, and after a long night with patching him up and using all the bandages in your arsenal. the next morning, you woke up and decided to make him breakfast. he slept in longer than you, and as he should. he looked horrible. overworked and stressed.

you settled on waffles, bacon and eggs. simple and easy. it was getting close to noon and you were wondering when he would wake up. hopefully before the food gets cold. and your prayers were answered. a warm pair of bandaged hands snaked around you waist and a pair of lips lightly kissed the back of your neck. “mornin’ mami.” his voice was hoarse and raspy, as he had just woken up. he rested his head into your shoulder, peeking over to see what you were scrambling on the stove. “what’cha makin’?”

“just a simple breakfast for you.” “fo’ me? why?” “cause i care for you and i love you.”

that made his heart flutter a little. probably because you were upset at him last night for getting so badly injured. he felt bad about it, yeah, but some things you gotta sacrifice for your loved ones. you held up a piece of bacon to his face with your fingers, catching im off guard. “taste.”

“mmm, it tastes sweet.” “oh?” ”as sweet as you, hermosa.” “aww.”

24 year old Charlie is the owner of a small flower shop that sits across the street from a bakery.

For his moms birthday, Nick goes to the flower shop to pick up some of her favorites, and meets the shy yet charming owner. Charlie gives him the flowers free of charge, calling it a neighborly discount.

Infatuated with Charlie, and guilty about getting off free with the flowers, Nick returns the next morning with a pastry, and the two sit down to talk for a while.

What will become of this growing friendship? Something more?

Okay hear me out

So clark is doing his best to keep his co-worker from being not alive, but he has like a Justice League mission, so he goes to his oldest son, Conner. He's like, you're both around the same age. Just idk befriend him, or at least keep an eye on him. Of course, Conner is against having to 'babysit' some random dude until he sees Danny and just has a 'oh no he's hot' moment. Suddenly, he's suspiciously on board with this, and Clark is like, "What have I done."

Fast forward, and Danny is in Gothom doing a special piece for the paper. Tim just gets a panicked call from Conner "dude, there are a bunch of owls on my boyfriends balcony." Tim who's sleep deprived brain, assume animal type."I didn't even know Gotham had that many owls, what did your boyfriend do, feed them?" "Yes! And now they won't leave they're just sitting there with their creepy blank stare." "Yeah, they do that. Gotta go, robbery on east end"

It continues for like a couple more nights of Conner calling Tim freaked out. "They started bringing him gifts" "like crows do with shiny things?" "More like this shiny thing is a knife with a suspicious stain on it! "It's gothom, most things you find lying around do."

And just Tim going, "they're just birds, dude calm down." "Oh like the Robins are just birds" Conner snarks back.

Eventually Tim asks the species and Conner goes "I don't know!? Human??" and it clicks. Yeah, this might actually be a problem. Meanwhile Danny's trying to figure out how he can get a rehabilitation program set up for birds that aren't avain, as well as trying to clean his new gifts that he proudly displays much to his boyfriend's chargin.

Idk, mabye Danny's ectoplasim and/or ghostly aura brakes some of the courts brain washing and the longer the owls hang around the more lifelike they get which Danny finds rather ironic.

The CIA is trying to kill Danny

Now hear me out.

I stumbled upon this prompt idea where somebody wrote that they want to see a story where the CIA is trying to kill Clark Kent (not Superman, reporter Clark Kent), the reason is because that Clark Kent is a very good reporter. And everybody knows that a mark of a good reporter is that they die of natural causes, with bullets in their head. So that story would have centered around the CIA trying to kill Clark Kent and having no idea on how Clark Kent is still alive after the multiple attempts on his life.

Now this got me thinking.

In an AU where Danny is interning or working at the Daily Planet, probably under Clark or Lois.(you choose) And Danny is a really good reporter, his ghost powers help him gather information undetected. He's exposing corporations left and right, all ranging from either illegal animal experimentation, environmental pollution, horrible working conditions, toss in a couple of sleazy terrible rich people. So while all of his stuff is getting published and the govt is going, "we gotta stop that reporter." And proceed to constantly try to end this kid's life with no result. They try to poison food, Danny grew up eating radioactive food, if anything the poison is just added seasoning. They try to set up his place on fire, Danny's just conveniently not there. They try to have people tail him but they can't because Danny just disappears whenever he turns a corner.

And layers could be added to this, like Danny's just talking to Clark at work (y'know water cooler talk) and when Danny brings up all of these strange things happening to him like "people following him, the elevator at his place just conveniently broke down and crashed into the ground around the time he would have left for work, or how his usual food orders look a bit different than what they normally look like and they taste slightly different." And Clark is hearing all of this and is going "wait a minute!" and there's a scene of Clark walking with Danny as the kid is waiting for his uber and when the car pulls up. Clark uses his x-ray vision and spots the driver sporting guns, knives, poison gas (whatever CIA agents use for assassinations, I don't know) and just goes "Hey Danny did I ever take you to my favorite diner. No? GREAT! Let's go now!" and he just immediately drags Danny away from the murder car. And from that point on, Clark is taken it upon himself to stop all of the assassination attempts on Danny because he believes that Danny is a fragile young human being.

OR

This could be set in Gotham

And Danny is just exposing all of elites of Gotham, including Gotham's rogues and all of that song and dance. Which then leads him to be targeted by the Court of OWLS! Danny in this scenario would be friends with Tim, because they go to the same coffee shop and order the espresso on steroids drink. Danny tells him all of the stuff that's been happening to him and Tim goes "oh shit." In which he then tells the batsiblings. They all band together to protect Danny because he is a normal human being. (said nobody ever) So Danny becomes unofficially adopted by them. They don't tell Bruce about this because then they'll have to come to terms that they are just like him because they just took in a black haired blue eyed kid into their family.

thinking about wayne and eddie going on an annual fishing trip (like thee Munson Men Annual Fishing Trip™️) just like a little weekend away. and the first one is coming up after eddie and steve starts dating. over breakfast eddie jokingly complains about having to go and tries to get out of it. but wayne is used to his dramatics so he just gives hmms when appropriate because eddie’s whole spiel never got him out of it before and he tells eddie that.

steve watches the whole exchange with amusement when wayne asks if he’s looking forward to it. and he’s like ??? because he assumed it was just a wayne and eddie thing. and wayne is like i just told eddie all munsons must go can’t get out of it kid.

steve gets flustered and is internally is like oh??? all munsons,,,

or like after the trip a neighbor asks wayne if they caught anything and he pulls out his wallet to show a picture they took on the trip. wayne passes it with ‘here’s a picture of my boys’ and to steve’s surprise it’s a picture of both him and eddie with their biggest catch.

and just idk wayne casually accepting steve into their family and throwing steve off guard with it.

A very specific idea/scenario I have about Alastor's sleeping habits

He barely even sleeps in the first place. He sleeps like only a few hours a week, in one go. He locks himself up in his room once a week, sleeps for 4 hours straight and that's it. And since he doesn't sleep much, each time he does he falls into a deep slumber and it's absolutely impossible to wake him up he's straight up passed out until he gets fully recharged.

He does this because the idea of being in a vulnerable position where anyone could do anything to him while he's completely defenseless is too unsettling for him, so he sleeps as little as he can and always makes sure he's locked up first, away from everyone else's eyes.

HOWEVER, one time he's playing cards with the rest of the hotel, and because he got unconsciously so comfortable around them, he accidently falls asleep on the couch during the game. Everyone is shocked because they didn't even know he actually needed to sleep (they always hear him walk around the hotel humming at night like an absolute creep so they just all collectively assumed he didn't need to sleep).

Charlie panicks a little because nothing seems to wake him up, but he's still breathing and seems fine, eventually they all just let him sleep there and keep on going with their card games since the noise doesn't seem to bother him. Charlie even put a blanket on him, and Angel initially wants to draw something on his face as a prank but in the end everyone agrees not to try anything like this, because who knows how the radio demon would react,,, could be dangerous.

A few hours later Alastor finally wakes up, immediately understands what happened and plays it cool like "Oh dear, looks like I passed out, too bad I couldn't finish the game :) oopsie" but internally he's SCREAMING
