It probably would have been. I think it's in the back of their minds since Akita happened that it's probably technically Uzi's first kid, and what happened to it is something they don't want to address. Akita nearly had the same fate, so I figure it's just downright taboo to talk about for them.

It would probably look something like this if let able to live. The only thing it retains from the arrow form is the tailtip being the arrowhead. IDK it's a start as to how I would handle it being a character. It's kind of just Akita's original design with some of that creature's traits.

anyway um yes normal life marc getting vale mpregnant would be. an impressive accomplishment for him personally in the sense that we would have to manipulate the facts of this universe so that either 1) vale regularly lets marc fuck him, or 2) vale is really fertile and the one random time marc was both topping and not wearing a condom he got knocked up. both deliciously complicated scenarios. let’s go w number two and throw in that he’s post retirement bc it’s funny to me and bc realistically 2015 vale would mabort that thang and kill marc about it.

except the day before marc is set to come luca forces him to see a doctor, the doctor runs a full panel of bloodwork bc he thinks vale has like a fungal infection or something. surprise! it’s a parasite! due in seven months! vale immediately panics and like is so close to saying something horrible to marc to stop him from coming but luca, longtime witness to vale’s self destruction, takes his phone and talks him down. I’m imagining an awesome speech where he basically tells vale he has to stop destroying his relationships just bc his parents didn’t work out. and then he leaves him alone in his house to tell marc the news……..they live happily ever after the end.

let’s say vale finds out during sepang! he just dragged marc’s name through the dirt and also for the first time in his life sort of pulled the omega card (it’s 2015, alpha shaming could be a little in! think white woman feminism around that time) which is crazy bc vale has mostly slid under the radar as an undefined androgynous charismatic freak who has never answered a single question about his secondary gender. he doesn’t actually say he’s an omega ofc he just makes allusions to marc’s toxic alphalinity in a way that separates himself from it and subtly implies that he’s at a biological disadvantage. okay girl let’s weaponize gender essentialism bc we’re having a mating crisis! so.

he does and says that. then he gets on the bike and pulls a move that could seriously harm himself AND marc. ik he didn’t actually get hurt but let’s say motogp cares about safety a little bit and forces him to go to medical anyway. he’s fuming, he gives his phone to uccio bc it’s blowing up, he’s getting an ultrasound bc my background is f1 and that’s what they do to them when they absorb too much gforce or whatever, and the doctor like drops the wand in shock and they’re both staring at each other like. why the fuck does that sound like a heartbeat and look like an embryo. and now all the FUN can begin :)

Shadow sighs. He really wasn't particularly keen on sharing stories from his past, but he supposes it's time to allow himself to share more of himself with others. This could be an alright start with that. "Fine. I guess I'll tell you." Sonic gives him a small smile at that. Shadow tries not to think about the reaction he feels in his stomach seeing it, and decides to tell the story.

Before reading - I guess this is set in a little au that I'm still trying to figure out. (Because this was originally intended to be a scene in a longer fic I'm planning to write)

So for now, this is set in Shadow's room, after him and Sonic started to get to know eachother more after working out a tense rivalry.

(I apologise for any poor spelling here, English isn't my first language and I didn't put too much effort into this one)

"Wait- Shads... is that blood?! Are you bleeding?" Sonic frantically asked, as he pointed towards Shadow's eyes, there was a red smear of... something, just above them.

"What? Oh. That's just my eyeliner. It probably smeared." Shadow shrugged, with annoyance in his voice. He hated whenever that happened.

Sonic's expression changed to a surprised one. "That's eyeliner?! Huh, I had always thought it was just like, the colour of your fur. But now that I do take a good look at it... it is a bit shiny... indeed kinda different from the red in your quills." Sonic tilted his head sideways, inspecting the red lines around his eyes.

"Hah. Well, I guess it's just not that noticeable." Shadow stated, tearing his eyes away from Sonic's blown open eyes and raised eyebrows. He tried to ignore the way he still felt his gaze on him.

"Why do you wear it, though?" Sonic tilted his head to the side.

Apparently, Shadow made a face at that question because Sonic immediately starts rapidly apologising. "No- I mean like... It's not like I think it doesn't suit you- In my honest opinion it even looks good on you- uhm..." Sonic swallowed. "And I don't mean that you're like- that it's stupid, or something. It's just-"

"It's fine, Sonic." Shadow cuts off his rapid rambling. Sonic shuts his mouth and looks attentively at him, as if waiting for Shadow to continue.

The black hedgehog sighs. He really wasn't particularly keen on sharing stories from his past, but he supposes it's time to allow himself to share more of himself with others. "Whenever Maria got ready for school, or special events, or anything, really. I would always accompany her in anything she did. Through almost all the steps of her routine, I would be by her side, just... watching. We didn't necessarily have to talk or anything, I would just be there, be present. It was comforting." Shadow brings his gaze up from where they previously rested on his shoes, to meet Sonic's eyes. He sees that Sonic has a unique expression on his face, like he's actually interested in what he's telling him.

Shadow then remembers he still needed to continue. "But anyways- that's besides the point." He brings his gaze elsewhere. "She would usually do her makeup at the bathroom sink. She usually didn't do much... she often just did something basic, for things such as school. But for parties or special events, she would use some extra products. I would always just watch attentively at whatever she was applying to her face. The first time I saw her do a more... complicated look, I was a bit confused when she started tracing her eyeline with some red pencil. It seemed she noticed my puzzled face and chuckled at it. She then asked me if I wanted to try some. And because I liked being included, I agreed to it... It felt funny feeling the rather cold liquid of the eyeliner seeping through my fur. After she was done, I looked in the mirror and inspected the finished product. It wasn't bad... I quite liked the look of it, actually."

Shadow looked around the room, not daring to make eye contact with Sonic, for some reason.

"As I was inspecting the newly drawn lines around my eyes, she giggled and said that it suited me. So, whenever she would do her eyeliner, she would also put it on me. After every time, I would look in the mirror and notice she improved her skills with it again, the lines being done more neatly each time. She eventually even taught me how to do it myself. I didn't wear it often back then, when she was still..." Shadow trailed off, not wanting to say the thing he hated most, the thing that brought him the most pain.

In his peripheral vision, he saw Sonic nod and turn his head a tad to the side in understanding. Shadow swallowed and looked up at him again. "And well, after I lost her, I found some red eyeliner in a drug store and took it with me. I still remembered how to apply it. When I first saw myself with that same eyeliner again, it brought me back to all the times I sat on that cold kitchen sink with her." He let out a soft chuckle to himself. "Well... I haven't stopped wearing it since, as you can tell."

"Hm. She's right, it does look neat on you. Even if it didn't look as profesional back then." Sonic quirked a smile.

"Right, thanks." Shadow replied dryly.

So this is a sequel to this post mainly because there was some crucial details in the finale that I missed, but this is specifically going to be focusing on Parrot rather than Evbo, although Evbo is still going to be part of this whole theory. Lets start.

[Transcript Start] Evbo: -My iron sword, so their swords will never break. Thats why I have to get out of here, so that I can prove to people that there is a way out! Obviously, to do that, I need to make it to level 4. But its a bit tough to do that, since theres no way to rank up apparently. Parrot: ...Wait, what do you mean theres no way to rank up? Evbo: Oh yeah! I probably should've mentioned that every time I try to rank up to a golden sword- Woah, getting up close and personal. But..yeah, theres no water at the bottom, I've died-

[End of transcript.]

This exchange to me, at first, read as rather inconspicuous. Other players have killed Evbo before, or straight up hit him. So it didn't particularly click with me that this was something to pay attention to, but it was a bit weird considering how Parrot is first characterized. His whole introduction with Evbo and Tabi, and him talking about the iron sword layer being peaceful, and trying to protect Evbo's immortal identity, being depressed and isolating himself in a mansion.. It seems odd that this would suddenly shift when the situation becomes "Theres no way out" and him almost getting violent here, like every other character in the series. But he shows restraint in his anger rather than lashing out. Good right? Well... Next time we "meet" Parrot the implications are less than ideal. We learn he is a bow, and that he attempted to tell Evbo this, but the message about Tabi's betrayal got through to him too late. Then something else happens. Evbo, post betrayal and probably wanting to let off some of the stress that has most definitely been bubbling under the surface, Kills the entire iron sword layer. Or atleast very heavily implied that he did, along with Parrot's help. In Evbo's words, he "Killed all the people that were against me." which could either mean like, two people or the entire layer, and I don't think Evbo was particularly keeping track of the "bad" iron swords that came into his cell depending on how populated that layer actually is. The way someone would typically twist this, is that Parrot is willing to do terrible things for his friend's safety and comfort. Which is fine, but hear me out. Considering that Parrot got very close to snapping at Evbo back in episode 4, and was pretty absent throughout the arc where Evbo trains until he gets to the diamond sword layer, and then out of nowhere, helps with a murder spree despite him being one of the more peaceful residents? One that doesn't appear to get into fights, nor is seen going into Evbo's cell for kills? Evbo lets something slip near the end right after describing the massacre that he and Parrot did together. Parrot says:

"I will do my best to make a difference in this world."

Now, this sounds good in theory. Great, even! But consider the stuff we learned from him up until this point, the tiny details that you could easily miss or disregard entirely. Now, what does that phrase imply? Especially with the surrounding context being Evbo and Parrot killing a layer together?

What difference does he intend to make in this world? We don't get more than what Evbo tells us in the narration, but he does mention that he isn't willing to see Parrot just yet, and needs to piece his feelings towards him. What went down between these two that went unseen that left Evbo not wanting to talk to him let alone see him? Fishy, fishy, fishy.

You know what irks me the most about the mha ending. (Sorry I'm still on it.)

Like the early parts of the manga, there were so many grown up hero AUs in fandom (like storylines that took place when they're adults and heroes) and they're fun! A little silly!

And then we had the war arc and cities are being destroyed and everything's torn up and for over a hundred chapters, it's been oh huh I guess every AU like that will just be canon divergence lmao

And then Horikoshi basically wipes the slate clean so I guess all those AUs could technically canon compliant. There's not even much in the way of lasting physical damage! Because it's dealt with???? Immediately???? Within months?????

Which is fine! Nothing wrong with it! The AUs are fun! But, it just irks me that you could throw out half the manga because it didn't matter. Nothing majorly changed. Silly adult hero AUs for everyone I guess because the League may as well have been 2 bit villains for all the effect they had at large was. Idk. Maybe I'm bitter? Maybe my brain still trying to process the ending and the change in how AUs relate to canon? I guess - what was all the constant sprinkling in of "society has let people down" that we see from chapter 1? It meant nothing? I guess????? I mean A WAR HAPPENED. But whatever I guess heehee wasn't that soooooo silly???? That people's take on early story can be the same as post story?????
