Mers hatch with a full set of teeth and zero self preservation skills! Infant mortality is high, only a third making it to adulthood.

These 8 were the lucky few to hatch from around 20 fertilized eggs (few hatch naturally due to available space in the brooding pouch)

These are also lucky to have three adults to watch them, gives them a higher chance of reaching adulthood.

Mers normally have a clutch every 10 years or so, normally producing between 5-10 offspring.

She usually hangs out with her cousin Sammy (a Penball kid who I’ll probably redesign before I redesign Lucien)

Her seashell hair accessory was a birthday gift from her father when she was really little

so. well. say hi to artemisia. she is originally burdas fankid however in this particular au shes a nerp. her story is kinda based on kroshik, hes a nerp with a long funny story but in short terms he preferred to stay in aquarium and he was too friendly with people which is dangerous for an animal. anyways, artemisia was saved when she was a couple of days, her mother died in the fishnets and she was left alone, unable to go. fishnets had left a scar on her body (which i - excuse me - havent designed yet), so it's easy to spot her out of other seals.

she was rescued by burakh and dankovsky and they basically became her foster parents, training, socializing and taking other care of her.

with that, they tried to let her go in a couple of years and she came back after half of an hour. they decided to prepare her better and again, after some time, they let her swam and the attempt seemed successful until they saw viral videos of a very friendly cute seal! <3 and they were like yeah this one is ours. fuck. last people who had seen her were vlad jr and kapella who had a boat trip and well. artemisia decided shes going with the. so basically they took her back and artemisia was in the aquarium again.

and for the third time, they tried to let her go again, but at the same day she successfully had found grief and stakh, who were catching fish that night (like. 1 am.) and, of course, drinking bear. so artemisia became their guest. gried were like omg hiii babygirl have some bear. stakh take a photo. and then they just video called burakh in the middle of night and were like hey thats yours. and he was like fuck yeah danya wake up lets go take this little dummy home for the last time.

so now artemisia lives happily in the aquarium and eats a lot of fish :)

Here's my Pearlcaviar fankid, Moonstone Caviar!!

From the result of a bit of love and gem mermaid magic (?) came little Moonstone Caviar, named after her iridescent Caviar hair, and a nod to how White Pearl was compared to the Moon's radiance! She takes mostly after her father and aspires to follow in his footsteps and keep the lower city safe from pirates!

SO YEAH I wanted to make a fankid but with a TWIST!!! NEITHER of them know how it happened, but one morning Caviar woke up with one of his lil fish egg hairs had grown into an ACTUAL egg. They both were absolutely flabbergasted to say the least, but it soon turned into pure joy!! (at least for Caviar, BP was still processing it all) His crew were as shocked to receive the news as they were, but they were very quick to share the same excitement. They were going to have a new little sibling!! (They argue over who gets to hold the egg ALL THE TIME)

This man is the world's best father bro. He's been DYING to be an ACTUAL father (ofc he considers his crew his kids). Ok ok so Neo:U is a next gen au in a sense? Many fankids bc i adore sparklings and odd crackships that ended up weirdly wholesome. I made it with my bf @official-big-gay-fish

Basically in Neo:U Megatron as the Decepticon leader never lost his way at least in the sense no violence he comitted was against his fellow con, his fight was ALWAYS to liberate the lower caste and cold forged. When he realized the Autobots who in this AU are spear headed by the Senate ( Optimus and those who follow him are a splinter faction of the original Senate controlled Autobots who want to prevent either side from destroying Cybertron and end things peacefully) were going to win he boarded every con the nemesis and left Cybertron. (This is a whole other thing i can get into) Optimus determined to find his old friend travels the starts with his splinter group of Autobots to find them upon discovering the Senate intends to either kill or reprogram every con the capture. Eventually they find Earth and due to low energon reserves they stay there for a while and ironically never interact with humans lmao.

Anyways the main crux of the story is Hot Rod is appointed head of the Survey Corps. where and his group scour Earth for resources and to learn about humans to live in peace with them in the future. Everything’s going great until they run into a group of cons.

Hot Rod being the person he is and not wanting to lose his freedom on Earth convinces everyone to stay quiet. This leads to shenanigans and multiple accidental interactions with the con kids. Especially since this au they use holoavatars a lot. Overtime to keep the peace and keep everyone safe and maybe a bit of curiosity they all truce which turns into friendship. a lot of the story revolves around these kids uncovering their past of a war ravaged planet, who their parents were during the war, coming to terms with trauma (especially generational oop), and finally ending said war. Also uhhhhh oops sorry kids you may be buddies now but hey haha whats that in sky? On no its scourge and the terrorcons.

You get a lot of high tension awkward interactions with the autobot and con kids! I say kids but they’re basically robot 25 which is absolutely baby to the old bots.

Autobots are

Hotrod (this hot rod is a MTO but my god no one will ever know outside Optimus and Ratchet) your typical Hot Rod stuff, big loud jokester who never takes anything seriously and hates himself. He has a Situationship with Magnus that he doesn’t wanna think about.

Strongarm- Shes Jazz and Prowls kid in this universe, looks like Jazz unfortunately takes after Prowl. A lot of her story is unpacking the beliefs Prowl instilled into her. She’s socially awkward and sucks at reading the room, but is very into music and singing. She also finds out she loves fighting and spars with everyone!!

Cloudchaser- One of my OCs, was found in the ruins of Vos as a sparkling by Wheeljack and Ratchet. They tried to find her family but do to what happened to Vos there’s very few flyers in the Autobots making trying to find them dangerous. So now she has a mad scientist grandpa and a grouchy grandpa. Clouds a very bubbly, chatty person. She’s the autobot gossip, if its a rumor Cloud knows it. If its sensitive info Cloud knows it. Cloud is super competent but she hides that behind a hyper egotistical, sassy, bratty mask because she has mixed feelings on being an autobot. Shes Hot Rods amica, and one of the only ones who knows hes a MTO.

Starpursuit- My bfs fankid of Elita-1 and Arcee. They’re a motorcycle and use they/she/he. Pursuits the type if they don’t respect you she’s not listening, they got that bullheadedness in them. Hes definitely a bit obsessive and intense at times, they get bored easy and love fun so shes easily swayed into Hot Rod shenanigans. Shes got the worlds biggest crush on Strongarm.

Metamelody- Another fankid of the bf. He’s Ironhide and Chromias! Hes a big ass van, almost as big as his sire. Mel is extremely soft and sweet. He’s shy, and despite being a ruler follower like Strongarm is easily pulled into shenanigans. He joined Hot Rods crew because he doesn’t know how to tell Ironhide he doesn’t want to go into weapons op, he wants to be a musician.

Decepticon kids

Nitrobreak-BFs oc whose the kid of my characters Cursor and Blackdirge. Nitrobreak is Hot Rods foil, he as zero worrys or doubts about his position as his crews leader. He’s confident and wears it well and it frustrates Hot Rod. Hes well loved amongst his faction and has a very healthy understanding of who he is. His challenge in life is all external vs Hot Rods internal struggles. They hate each other at the start

Blacklight- BFs oc, unfortunately Shockwaves child. If you acknowledge this or bring it up Blacklight will maul you. They were conceived when Shockwave was still a senator, and came into life during the war but because Neonstreak their carrier is a NAIL they never experienced it. They have complicated feelings about Shockwave, they’re scared of him but they love him, they’re obsessed with him, they want to understand him and work with him in energon conservation. They ARE daddy issues.

Dragstrip- Swindles kid because I made a joke they look similar and it somehow stuck. Devious trickster bastard, will sell everything and everyone for a single cornchip minus his carrier.

Wildbreak- u kno the joke wilbreak rid15 is breakdown and knockouts kid? Yeah yeah 100% hes still the awkward shy easily started person hes shown as in rid15. He wants to be a nurse and studies under his sire!

Jetlag- remember when I mentioned some of the ships that were crack ships that became canon? Yeah Jetlags the result of one of those crackships. Hes Skywarp and Thunderhoofs kid. Hes a seeker, but has fuck all antlers and hoof peedes instead of heels. He’s a bit stupid, and continuously bonks people with his antlers by accident. He has a crush on Blacklight but never wants to admit it because he knows Blacklights so scared of becoming Shockwave he doesn’t even want to attempt relationships.

OC: Dalila the lion, almost 21 years old, she's the best friend of Sticks and they both live in the Sol Dimension in my au. She hangs out with Sticks, Blaze, Silver and Marine, she loves apple pies, fishing, singing, climbing trees and of course going on adventures

Sonic x Amy fankids: Aman (16 years old) and Alì (12 years old). Their descriptions are in the image!

Silver x Blaze fankids: Sasha (16 years old), Fire (9 years old) and Venice (17 years old). Venice took Blaze's personality, he has telekinesis but colored in red and not aquamarine. Sasha is mostly carefree and cheerful but she can be serious and mature when needed, she has pyrokinesis but her flames are aquamarine, while Fire is naive and silly and adorable, she has pyrokinesis (red)

Knuckles x Julie-su fankids: Lara (25 years old), Boyron (22 years old) and Angel (18 years old). Lara is a detective and the founder of the "New Chaotix", other than a soccer player. Boyron is a rapper and a traveler (and part of the New Chaotix), while Angel loves history and traditions, sometimes she joins her siblings, she can see Tikal and she's the next guardian of the Master Emerald!

Cream x Tails fankids: Max (16 years old) and Sky (10 years old). There's a third kid but I haven't completed her redesign :") Max has just won over depression and he's now experiencing the happiness of everyday things, such as baking (and eating) cookies and gardenind! He's afraid of machines and tall robots. Sky instead is a short autistic gremlin, she got Tails's mutation so she's an hybrid, and due to being sterile she won't grow up more. She loves helping Tails building stuff and she hates wearing clothes.

:D There are all the characters I've recently redesigned! You're lucky I haven't finished all the redesigns of my 21 fankids... I think I've told you I ship Big and Storm? 🤔 If I haven't before now I have LOL.

They never move in together or anything like that. Storm didn't want to leave the airship and the other Rogues and Big didn't want to leave Mystic Ruins, so they decided that's for squares and they're perfectly fine NOT doing that.

ANYWAY, the reason I bring all this up in an OC fact trade is they get a kiddo! Wave built them a robot kid named Leaf. 🥰 They told Wave not to program Leaf to be a fantastic Extreme Gear boarder, and she complied... by making Leaf a fantastic mechanic/inventor instead. But anyway, they pass Leaf back and forth between each other on a schedule.

Leaf keeps building Big inventions that either make fishing more efficient or would allow him to catch more fish at once because the poor kid hasn't quite grasped why Big fishes and they want to help their dad do it better. They mean well though, so Big always appreciates the gesture.

fffffffuck it i’ll talk about my rendition (or at least one) of Knuckles’ father His name is Lance (Short for Lancer) and he was an originally a Locke reboot but now he’s developed into something of my own character.

 He’s very intelligent and yet still a bit of an idiot. He gives very much Michael Reeves and Markiplier vibes. Being so smart yet also an idiot. He’s very much into robotics and even managed to amke his own robotic hand, he was born with disfigured that got removed so he just went fuck it imma make my own hand. And you know that while hsi creations of robotics are a wonder of science and engineering... he still has his moments. He either makes the most stupid memeist things because of boredom or the internet. Like a goddamn screaming roomba (if you know the reference i love you). He knows more memes and more about internet culture than his own son but he adores his son. He has moments where his depression will get really bad and he’ll become dead inside but he stilll tries his best to be there for his son even with his issues and will drag himself out of bed for him (AND NOT MICROWAVE HIS GODDAMN CHILD FROM A BAD DREAM GOD FUCKING DAMMIT LOCKE. LANCE GETS DUMB AND INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU ACT ON THEM FUCKING-). Most of the time you can tell when h’es in a good mood cause when he is feeling good... the gremlin comes out. Knuckles may be happy that his dad is happy but then he wishes that he wouldn’t become such a gremlin man because then he creates the weirdest shit.
