Thinking about what type of fanfiction I'd like to write for Eigong, and I've been a little fixated on her roots. Like...I know she has them when she's mentoring Yi and Kuafu because of the latter's vital sanctum. And she gets more as that part of the story progresses...but like. How did she implement them to begin with? Did it hurt?

Not to be completely unhinged in this post rn but while I cannot lie about liking some aspects of omegaverse shit I've never been able to really enjoy the full on "omegaverse" because of the weirdly manufactured like. Oppression??? Like the sociostructual aspects of it make me so uncomfortable lmfao. i think the thing with charles is so much of him is already given away freely and enthusiastically to the world it is deeply unnerving that people would stalk and go to the lengths of mobbing outside of his home because they feel entitled to a sick sense of demanding more. theres rarely a day that goes by that someone doesnt post fan interactions/signings/selfies of him off the clock because its clearly in his nature to be understanding and interactive with fans. the videos of him running to barricades to try and appease to people that have waiting hours for him to get a photo. the hordes of people waiting for him in restaurants and hotels and blocking his car.  the ‘secret’ filming of him undressing clearly uncomfortable and knowing someone is recording him. a stranger kissing him as he walks through the paddock. a stranger posing as a fan to get close just to steal from him- i dont blame him for trying to regain some autonomy in that situation at all. this isnt even to go into ferrari posting videos of him in ice baths before every race to farm engagement. all the deeply detailed fantasy you are charles leclercs significant other posts with hundreds of notes- i know this all for fun and ‘just fiction’ but you really dont know who is on the other side of the screen and what world they are living in. i would hope no one following me or anyone on here would ever cross a boundary as heinous as doxxing him but i do think we have to step back. just because something is posted online does not mean it is not a massive invasion of a real human beings privacy.

I used to read, like, a LOT of manga online, especially bl and yaoi manga as a teen. And I don't have a ton of time as a Real Adult but I still like to read romance comics as a comfort genre, especially queer content. And over my long fujoshi career I've noticed a totally inconsequential but REALLY annoying (to me) semantic shift.

BL and Yaoi used to be different things. Like. there was a lot of overlap obviously but BL was for general romance (i.e. NOT explicit) and yaoi was strictly 18+

with the gradual shift from Japanese comic dominance to korean comic dominance, the distinction doesn't mean anything to younger fans, yaoi doesn't really get used as much because the term was memed to death, and EVERYTHING now falls under the BL umbrella.

all that is to say that IT'S REALLY HARD TO EASILY FIND THINGS THAT ARE SFW TO READ IN PUBLIC OH MY GOD

Just got the craziest idea:

Ok, so we all love the din fics when he falls for the new member of his crew as she takes care of lil green bean baby... but what if she has a secret?

Not just that she's kinky crazy in love with our tin can man, but that she's a part of a rare alien species: they're born in 2 parts.

No, she's not a twin. Her people are born into two bodies, that share a consciousness (to a degree) & they feel everything that happens to the other... though they have different kinks & preferences (one is sweet & soft, & the other is similar, but craves ownership & corruption), they are ONE.

Due to the fact that they're so vulnerable (if one dies, they both die), & the fact that their people are nearly extinct, they keep their alien biology a secret... their whole life...until they meet din.

Maybe it's the baby who outs them? Force sensitive toddler can't keep a secret 😆 or, they're both on the crest (one stowed away), & din comes back early from a hunt, to find the mirror image of his crush cooing over his son. Idk....

I have many ideas I'm too afraid to write down (yet), but i loved this one so much, I had to post this lil thot before I forgot it! 😬

I blame the glorious monsterfucker writers i follow for this tangent... & I'm thrilled 😆
