The only time i could say that there is a lack of media literacy is in regards to the true ending in Nine Sols

SPOILERS: Yi basically sacrifices himself in the True Ending of the game

And when i finished the game and saw the video, i saw this comment:

the lack of media literacy is surprising...

What people do not understand that him sacrificing himself comes with the theme of the game and it had come to the point where the people preferred the Normal Ending because they think that the Solarians will be saved from the Tianhuo Virus but...

this comment explains why this isn't the case

I am just tired of people hating on endings where the hero sacrifices themself

I get why, but the main theme of Nine Sols is accepting the inevitable
