BREAKING IN F1

Daniel Ricciardo's younger sister, Y/n has announced herself as a sponsor for the Mclaren F1 team. She's recently admitted, "I'm proud to have my brand, Gentle Monster, in the pinnacle of motorsport. I think it's important for more girls to put themselves in the spotlight. I'm extremely honored to be partnering with Mclaren and I can't wait to see both my brand and the team go to new heights."

When asked what influenced her to partner with Mclaren instead of her brother's team, Alpha Tauri, she simply responded, "Just felt right."

Both Daniel and Y/n's fans are on opposite sides because she recently posted that Red Bull was her family. One would think that due to that, she'd want to have her brand on the number one car currently. In a recent Instagram live with Mclaren, she spoke up about not choosing Red Bull, saying, "You know, I was never really close with Red Bull but I've always been a fan of Lando Norris since my brother introduced us a few years back. Cee’s Note: Soooo this idea came to me when I was watching Tangled and the lantern scene happened and then I just started thinking about my favorite romantic scenes from movies. Hope y’all enjoy 😉

Luffy- Spider Man Kiss

One day Luffy was feeling a bit mischievous and decided to use his stretchy legs to hang from the top of one of the rails of the Sunny to scare you. He saw you turning a corner and positioned himself before springing down in front of you causing you to let out a high pitched scream. Luffy started to laugh hysterically at your reaction, causing you to pout and whine his name.

Despite his prank, you couldn’t stay mad at your silly boyfriend. You also couldn’t deny how cute he looked hanging upside down so you approached him and decided to lay one on him. You gently held his cheeks, as your lips continued to move against each others. As you pulled away, Luffy had his signature grin plastered on his face making you giggle. From that day forward, Luffy decided to surprise you like that more often just to receive your kisses.

Zoro- Ghost Clay Scene

One of the activities you liked to do in your spare time is pottery. After asking Franky to build you a pottery studio (which he happily obliged) that became your favorite place to be on the ship. Zoro had been looking for you when he noticed you didn’t show up during his training to bug him. When he finally found you, he smirked as a bright idea came to his mind.

Next thing you knew, your back was pressed against Zoro’s bare chest, his muscular arms wrapped around you, fingers interwined with yours as you both molded the clay in front of you. He pressed soft kisses to your neck making you squeal and turn your head. Let’s just say, Zoro made a mental note to do this more often with you.

Sanji- Lady and the Tramp Spaghetti Scene

Sanji wanted to take you to a restaurant for a date once you guys docked the Sunny. You told him if he could woo you on the date, you would give him a kiss at the end of it. He got a nose bleed just thinking about the challenge and he was determined to win it. You guys were at this fancy Italian restaurant where he ordered the couple’s spaghetti special on the menu that could be shared with two people. Sanji knew he was close to wooing you after the gentlemen like charm he was giving you throughout the date.

When the food came, you both gawked at how huge the plate was. You were slurping up a noodle and you couldn’t help but notice how long it was but that didn’t stop you. Little did you know Sanji was also slurping the same noodle and before you knew it, your lips met in middle. You pulled away, eyes widened and cheeks heating up from the kiss. Sanji with heart filled eyes was babbling on about how soft your lips were and how he knew he would win a kiss from you. You roll your eyes and press your lips against his again to shut him up.

Usopp- 10 things I hate about you serenade

You were chatting with Nami and Robin when you mentioned how romantic it would be to be serenaded in public. Usopp overheard the conversation and although he was nervous of the thought of publicly singing and dancing in front of other people, he was determined to impress you. With the help from brook with the song (lets just pretend that can’t take my eyes off you existed during that time) and Franky and Luffy with the choreography, Usopp was ready for his performance.

You guys were in the middle of a town when Usopp started performing his serenade. He was on top of high ledges of a building, prancing around, singing his heart out to you. He would occasionally wink and point to you during his song, and you would be lying if you said you weren’t swooning. You and the crew were cheering and hyping him up as he continued his serenade. In the middle of his song, a couple of marines spotted him and started to chase him. But the show must go on, because Usopp didn’t stop his serenade despite him being chased. You were a giggling blushing mess throughout the entire song but you loved every second of it

Law- Love, Actually Card Scene

Law has had a crush on you for a while but didn’t know how to tell you because he was afraid he would say the wrong thing and mess it all up. He isn’t good with expressing his emotions, let alone being romantic. Bepo, Penguin, and Sachi knew about Law’s dilemma and came up with a great idea. At first, Law refused but after penguin and Sacchi’s begging and Bepo’s puppy eyes, Law decided to give it a try. But he threatened to shambles them off the Polar Tang if it didn’t work.

You heard a knock from your door, causing you to get up and open it, revealing your nervous captain. He was holding some big cards with his usual serious face. You read card after card, him flipping one over the other. The last card he hesitated for a moment, cheeks starting to tint pink, as he revealed the card. It read “will you be mine?”. Your eyes widened and mouth opened in shock before changing into a beaming smile as you wrap your arms around him and kissed him. Bepo, Penguin, and Sacchi, who were hiding in the hallway watching the whole thing, quietly celebrated and high fived each other.

Ace- Tangled Lantern Scene

Ace had an idea for a date night for you but he needed some assistance from Marco to make it happen. Ace was leading you on the beach, blindfold over your eyes to the spot. Once you two reached the spot, he removed your blindfold revealing a small boat with two lanterns in the middle of it. You were confused yet intrigued for what was to come.

As you two set out, you were both holding the lantern in your hands. With a countdown, you both released your lanterns into the sky. Your face was in awe as more lanterns started to float around the air. Marco was flying around above you two dropping the lanterns around you guys. You reach out to catch one before releasing it back out. Ace just sat and admired how the lights illuminated your features. You commented on how beautiful the lights were, which Ace responded saying it didn’t compare to how beautiful you were. You blushed at his words before leaning in to kiss him.

Sabo - Enchanted Ballroom Scene

You and Sabo were assigned a mission to go undercover to gather information from a ball thrown by one of the celestial dragons. You guys had to blend in so you both were in expensive ballroom wear. Sabo thought you looked gorgeous in your gown. A slow song started playing(again lets pretend this song existed in their time) and sabo asked for your hand to dance.

You were shocked considering he had been previously complaining about how he “doesn’t dance”. So you accepted his offer and you two made your way towards the dance floor. From the way he gently held you as you both swayed to the way he was looking at you, you couldn’t help but get lost in him completely forgetting about the mission

Marco- Titanic Deck Scene

You had always expressed to Marco how cool you thought his devil fruit power was. Especially the flying, wishing you could fly like he does. Marco had offered to take you with him into the sky but you weren’t sure if you were brave enough to go that high. So he got the bright idea on how to ease you into it.

He held out his hand that you hesitantly took as he lifted you up at the edge of the ship. It was a bit high but not a bad place to start. Marco brought his arms around yours, intertwining your hands as he slowly brought your arms out wide, mimicking his wings. He slowly removed his arms without you realizing it, and you felt amazing as the wind blew under your arms making you feel like you really were flying. He chuckled at your excited expression, as he brought his arms to wrap around your waist and hold you.

This is me just talking to the void but I can’t help but to imagine the version of solo leveling where there’s significant internal conflict. For example Jin Woo literally losing emotions every time he gets stronger. Like I wished the story took the time to actually delve into how that would affect him and the people around him.

Starting with the people around him I think Jin Woo would overall be apathetic in nature and as the story progresses values human life (other than his own and his family) less and less to point where if Jin Woo had a choice to either spare/save a group of people but not get exp or kill/ let them die to get stronger (kill boss/monster etc.) he chooses the latter without a single thought . And you see this in the demon king raid with Esil but I feel like he kinda gets away with it because they’re demons in a gate. No one is there to call him out on it. And he uses the logic oh if I was weak they would’ve done the same which is true but If the story changed where it was out in the open whether it be a raid with another guild or a dungeon break it gives Jin Woo a moral dilemma that tackles how he’s losing his humanity because now he’s dealing with people. I feel like Jin Woo would most likely still choose to get stronger like he’ll try to do both but if it means some hunters/civilians have to die to get the job done so be it. And by doing so, the public and maybe even his own guild members find him to be a bit more monstrous. Which Jin Woo wouldn’t care until that fear hits his family.

Jin Woo’s Family:

Imagine after that hypothetical scene Jin Woo comes home to greet Jin-ah just for her step back in fear because she was watching the entire broadcast after school and while watching Jin Woo brutally kill those monsters and maybe kill some people just to get to those beasts faster she’s reminded of the orcs that came to her school and just shuts down. I think it feeds into the tragedy where Jin Woo wanted to get stronger partly to support his Family just for his family to be afraid of him and his power. And Imagine after this Jin Woo waits for the feeling of devastation, the hurt, the pain to wash over him just to feel nothing. He feels empty. Out of habit, he reaches for her and Jin ah skitters to her room. Jin Woo stands there feeling completely hollow. And as if he’s a zombie leaves the apartment to look for another gate just to feel something.

And in terms of his mother: I think after he wakes her up his mother does not recognize him at all. (Like I know it’s been four years but Jin Woo would’ve been 20 and most likely would’ve stopped growing his appearance would not be able to change that drastically) She panics : yelling who are you and Jin Woo does his best to calm her down. Then she looks into his eyes seeing how cold and lifeless they are and states you aren’t my son. My son was full of life. You reek of death. And maybe it’s not until Jin-Ah comes and explains that is in fact Jin Woo she finally accepts him. Also headcannon since Jin Woo serves as a vessel to the shadow monarch as he gets stronger his body temperature decreases due basically being the lord of the dead. Jin woo’s mom goes to embrace him just to realize he’s cold as a corpse. And the panel you see is his mom’s eyes completely overcome by fear and concern.

I think moments like this would make his choice to side with humanity so much more potent. maybe if he could never be ‘human’ like he once was he could use terrifying power to protect them regardless. OR push him to join the monarchs in the end because there’s nothing left for him on Earth. (Hero to Villain Jin Woo would’ve been so iconic like I can go into heavy detail)

Side note: another thing I will say is that story really does go out of its way to make Jin Woo never in the wrong for killing anyone which I can’t stand if he’s going to be morally grey commit to the bit. Let other characters not like him don’t just make them cartoonishly evil and then kill them off. OR let Jin Woo kill them off without cartoony evil antics and use that to reflect on Jin Woo as a character. Again it shows how he’s losing his humanity. Like the most egregious example was the Thomas Andre fight. They had to throw in im going to kill this bastard because he hurt my ego line just so Jin Woo can beat the shit outta of him. Like seriously, aside from that Thomas was literally just doing his job.

Larissa had been working nonstop since the night of the Rave’n. Eugene had been admitted to the hospital shortly after Yoko had burst through the office doors. He was barely alive when they found him and had been stuck in a coma since. The doctors were able to stitch his wounds but whether he’d pull through was still unknown. You could tell she was stressed out, you honestly would’ve been way worse if you were in her situation.

You hadn’t seen her much in the last two days, she was almost always holed up in her office either on the phone, stuck in meetings or answering emails. You still brought her her morning coffee, but where before she would chat with you and give you a sweet little kiss, now she at best acknowledges you with an apologetic smile and more often was so busy she would barely notice you were there.

Her actions hurt more than you were willing to admit to yourself. You knew you weren’t the reason for her late nights and cold shoulder but a large nagging part of your brain couldn’t help but carry some guilt with your inability to help her.

But tonight would be different. After stewing in your emotions all morning, you decided on one way you could help. You left straight after your shift at the Weathervane to pick up ingredients and then rushed home to start cooking. You thought making her a nice, home-cooked dinner could help, she definitely needed a break and she probably hadn’t eaten very well in the last few days.

You managed to get everything ready in record time, packed it into a container and set off to Larissa’s. You knew she was stuck in a meeting until late tonight so you had plenty of time to get to her quarters and set everything up.

Everything was looking great. You had set up a cute little candle-lit dinner, complete with Larissa’s favourite wine and a fancy store-bought dessert. You somehow timed it so well that just as you were finishing up you heard Larissa enter her office. You check everything over once again and then peek your head through the door to her office.

She’s sitting at her desk, frowning at something on her laptop. She looks exhausted, more exhausted than you’ve ever seen her. Her shoulders are so tense they look like they may snap and the bags under her eyes darker than you’ve ever seen them. She definitely needs a break.

“Hey, fancy seeing you here.” You smile, stepping into the room.

“Hm? Oh hello, darling.” She says, barely glancing away from the screen.

“So uh, I know you’re busy and all but I thought maybe we could have a quick dinner? I’ve got everything ready and-“

“I can’t darling. This work really is urgent.” She interrupts.

“I-I know. It’s just, well we haven’t spent any time together recently and I’m sure you could use something to eat-“ you try.

She sighs, and you flinch at the sound.

“I-I just think you could use a break-“

“I don’t have time for that! These monster attacks are getting worse and the sheriff is breathing down my neck because he’s convinced it’s one of my students! So, no, I cannot waste my time on a silly little dinner.” She yells.

“I-I just…” you mumble, “I just wanted to help.”

“Well, you’re not helping! You can’t fix everything and your presence sure as hell hasn’t been making anything easier around here,” she continued, rubbing her eyes.

You took a step backwards, holding your breath for a moment and counting backwards in an effort to calm yourself. A trick you’d learned growing up after your parents had expressed their distaste for your anger one too many times.

“Larissa, I don’t understand. I thought-I’ve just been trying to make things easier for you. I never meant-“ You explained, trying t figure out what it was you had done.

Slamming her laptop shut, Larissa stood. She was deathly quiet before uttering the words “First, you distract me from my duties as Headmistress leading to not one but two separate attacks on my students whilst they were under my watch-“

“Larissa what-“ you stutter, retreating back towards the main office doors as her daunting figure draws closer.

“Secondly, you play this stupid game with my emotions blinding me to the truth of your actions. And then-“ she laughs “you try and distract me from the evidence with a silly dinner! I bet you’re just looking for an opportunity to see the evidence of your involvement and destroy this school from the inside out.”

You still at her words, your heart stopping in your chest. You don’t know where this is coming from and can feel yourself getting angrier. You glared up at her, clenching your shaking fists and promptly losing your shit.

“What the fuck Larissa?! You’re not making any fucking sense. I mean- What- why would I try to ‘destroy evidence’? And in what fucking universe am I involved in the attacks? I care about the kids here, I care about you! So, I don’t understand where you get off on taking everything I’ve done for you and turning it into some fucked up, cruel joke- but this is- Why the fuck would you think that??” you yell.

A beat passed, the two of you staring intently at each other.

“Why?” She questions, her voice neutral and calm. “Because you’re the Hyde. And it’s all part of your sick little game. I don’t know who your master is or if you’re the one in control but I don’t care. The nightmares of blood and destruction, the exhaustion, your funny little ‘medication’” her voice began to rise. “All clear signs, all of them. And you thought planting them as some innocent little suggestion would make me look past them but not anymore. I will never, ever allow you back into this school, on these grounds ever again, you vile beast.” Spitting the final word with disgust, Larissa turned, her heels clicking on the wooden floor as she returned to her desk.

“I’ll take your silence as an omission. Now get out, run back to your master Hyde, the sheriff will be here any moment.” She sneers, leaning back on her desk to glare at you.

Without realising it tears were running down your face, your whole body visibly shaking as you tried and begged yourself to hold it together.

“I didn’t-“ you sniffle, trying and failing miserably at holding in your tears. “I love you.”

Her face twitches at that, you can barely see through the pools in your eyes. She lifts her head, staring directly into your eyes, nothing but hatred and a deep sadness being held in her blue orbs.

“Get out.” She murmurs.

“But Larissa please I-“

“Just go!” She yells, slamming her hand on her desk.

You flinch at the noise before running from her office. Any tiny pieces of your heart that hadn’t shattered at the beginning of her rant are now very much in tiny shards. Your chest feels tight and you honestly have no idea where you’re going. You just know she doesn’t want you there, she thinks you’re some killer monster thing. She hates you.

You’re running as fast as you can, not even vaguely aware of your surroundings. You can feel branches scratch your face and the crunch of dying leaves beneath your feet, the smell of dirt and a storm yet to come surround you. Eventually you trip, falling to your knees in the middle of the woods outside Nevermore. Your entire body shakes as you sob, burying your face in your hands as you cry and cry and cry. Everything hurts. And nothing makes sense.

You just wanted to help, you wanted to make her happy.

Everything felt numb. The forest around you seemed to have stilled in your honour, exhausted and worn out from the winds that had been battering its leaves. It was dark and cold but you couldn’t bring yourself to move, simply stuck as time moved around you and the atmosphere of the woods consumed you.

You didn’t know how long it had been, not that you cared either. You’d left your phone on Larissa’s table ready to play some smooth, warming jazz by an artist you’d found called Miss D. She had the perfect voice, deep and romantic, exactly the tone you’d wanted to set for dinner. Your eyes burn at the thought, with no tears left to cry all that was created was a stinging pain.

As your brain accepted the soreness around your eyes, you slowly become aware of the way your hands and body ache after your run through the woods. It was too dark to see the true damage but you knew you’d be feeling the result for the next few days. The weight of everything sat on your chest, grief buried in your bones making your whole body feel heavy and immobile.

How could she think that of you?

Consumed in your thoughts, knees buried in the earth below you, you failed to hear your name being called. The voice grew more desperate, louder as you slowly turned your head in the direction of the disturbance.

Marylin? What’s she doing here? She shouldn’t be out here…didn’t all of the attacks happen in the woods? You really should warn her or something…

Your body didn’t seem to give a damn, aching inside and out, as you attempted to stand and make your way over to the fuzzy image of Marylin before you. If it weren’t for her boots and hair, you don’t think your brain would have seen her in the dark of the night.

You dug your fingernails into the trunk of a nearby tree, trying to use it as leverage to pull yourself up. The moon began to emerge from the clouds above casting an eerie shadow across the clearing around you.

Wait a second…why is Marylin moving so weirdly? She seems panicked, terrified even… Why is she waving at you like that?

Her fuzzy outline becomes clearer as the moonlight strikes her frame.

She looks like she’s shouting. What is she-?

Oh.

You felt it before you saw it. If you had been a bit more aware you’d have heard the loud snapping of twigs from behind you followed by a low growl. If only you’d been more aware you would have heard the ear-piercing cry of no leave her lips.

But you didn’t.

Your head lolled down, your eyes finally focusing. Five massive claws were buried through your stomach as a burning, blinding pain consumed your senses.

Well that certainly wasn’t good

You feel your body get lifted before being thrown across the clearing you had been in, slamming against a tree. You fall into a crumpled heap at the base of it, your body twisted at an unnatural angle. Someone was screaming, it almost shocks you when you realize it’s you. You can vaguely hear angry, panicked yelling somewhere around you, but things are blurring together quite rapidly.

You’re going to die.

You realize this as you lay there. Finally, your brain is shutting down. You chuckle morbidly at the thought, the sound more akin to a gurgle as warm blood spills out of your mouth like some fucked up comedic skit. Your fingers that once clung to the cold, living dirt now gently lay upon the warm wound that was going to end you.

As the darkness of the forest consumed your vision, you thought you’d started to hear Larissa, her delicate voice whispering words you couldn’t make out. Your fingers twitch as you remembered the soft fur of your family cat, her small paws making the dough on your stomach. People of your past swept across your vision as the buzz of Larissa’s voice permeated your brain.

And then there was silence. There was just you and the night sky.

Until a muddied red thing enters your vision.

Marylin is still here, she needs to run, she’s in danger, you should warn her…

Your eyes roll towards her, her face entering your vision as she leans over you. Her features are somehow both fuzzy and clear, making you want to close your eyes and rest for a bit. Her lips were moving, but you can’t make out a single word she could be saying. Her face leaves your vision, her red boots re-entering it. The colour reminds you of Larissa’s lipstick.

You hope she knows you love her.

Okay so here is my Wrestling AU idea. The Vinsmoke are wrestling royalty and are the owners of WWE. All anime characters are stars of the show. This is just part 1 of the story idea.

Sanji debuts on the show via a backstage segment that shows him and Judge talking. Sanji is new to the business though he was working more behind the scenes prior to this moment. Sanji was talking to Judge about his college graduation which was coming up and Judge told him how proud he was of all his kids, including Sanji.

This backstage segment is iconic because Zoro who debuted a year ago as a mysterious blue blood heel was also backstage and was staring at Sanji’s ass. Why is this iconic? Because Zoro says, “What a sweet ass. Now how to make the boss’ son mine?” Thus beginning wrestling’s greatest love story.

Judge notices the reactions to that segment and the two of them and decides to pair Sanji and Zoro together in several segments.

So as time goes on, Sanji would be hanging around backstage as usual as Judge does not want to push Sanji just yet. He wants the kid to get used to the business and being around the talent. Wherever Sanji goes, Zoro would follow him and would try to woo and seduce him.

Sanji would reject his advances at first but he would still blush whenever he saw Zoro leading to everyone to ship them. You see the things is, Zoro is a heel and one of the most infamous ones at that. Sanji is a mere innocent baby face. Fans just love the dynamic

Eventually, Judge decides to let Sanji have fun in the ring every once in a while. Now during the early years, Sanji was not really a wrestler. He was more of a valet type of person. Still despite his then limited move set, he was able to scrap with a lot of the other kids on the roster and give convincing badass cat fights.

Sanji also served as a special referee a couple times and also as a ring announcer.

Zoro would be seen watching this matches backstage and admiring Sanji’s growth and potential. He tells Sanji about this one day and cue a blushing Sanji getting all shy and muttering, “Stupid sexy Marimo.” That was the birth of Zoro’s now famous nickname.

Judge allowed them have a tag team match against Ichigo and Renji which they won. The fans were behind Zosan because of their chemistry and just how adorable Sanji was. Plus the fact that Sanji somehow worked a decent performance here.

Shortly after that the Ministry of Darkness story begins. Yes Zosan are basically Stephanie and Triple H of this universe. Yeah we are going there. This is the end of part 1. Part 2 is coming up. Sanji would do Cody Rhodes level shit later on.

EXO!!!

Hello! Thanks for asking about EXO! I feel like I don't talk much about them on my blog but I love them ^_^ Actually, in terms of music, EXO is my favorite k-pop group by far.

✦ my first bias: Baekhyun. It was actually kind of funny, I discovered Chen first but through his solo music so I didn't even know he was part of EXO, but I loved his music. And then Baekhyun's Bambi came out (if this gives you a timeline for when I got into k-pop lol) and I was like 'woah who's this guy??' and then I remember watching the music video for SuperM's 'One' for the first time and it got to Baekhyun's first line and I had some kind of visceral response, like 'oh my god okay now I know what a bias is and this is it'. Like love at first sight haha. Idk, I was instantly obsessed with him. But I didn't know he was the same guy from Bambi! But once I figured out who he was, I instantly became an EXO fan.

✦ my current bias(es): Still Baekhyun :) But recently... Kyungsoo's really been wrecking me!!!There's something about him... I'm a little in love with Kyungsoo these days lol <3

✦ my album and/or era ranking (or favorite of each): I'm just going to do their full-length albums for the sake of simplicity!

Don't Mess Up My Tempo: This album is perfect in my eyes. I loveeeee the styling in the tempo mv (Jongin's striped crop top! Baekhyun's highlights! Minseok's spiky hair!), and the music video and song in general. it's one of those songs that just puts a smile on my face whenever i listen to it. But the best part of DMUMT is the rest of the tracklist. Gravity, 24/7, Bad Dream, literally every song on this album is top-tier.

Exodus: There's something about Exodus that has me completely charmed. The Pathcode teasers were maybe the biggest slay in all of k-pop teasers ever. Nothing has ever topped that in my eyes. And the songs Exodus and Playboy are some of my favorites ever. They both have this kind of playful jazzy thing going on? I'm really bad at describing music genres but they feel like special songs to me. And not to mention Call! Me! Baby!! omg!! She's such an icon and a feel-good song!! And the choreography is so fun! Also: Baekhyun's ad-lib at the end ( where he goes 'woo! baby!')-- it's at 3:13 in the mv and he makes the CHEESIEST face it makes me smile SO BIG and i think about it at least once a week lolll. I mean actually just watch Baekhyun at any point in that mv, because he was FEELING IT, he was giving it his ALL!!!

Obsession: The title track Obsession was actually my obsession for a longggg time. I can still listen to it on repeat for hours at a time. There was also a period of time where I'd watch the music video multiple times a day every day... yeah. But also the album as a whole has the same feeling for me as DMUMT. All the songs hold their own. A problem I have with a lot of NCT's discography is that a solid fraction of their b-sides in every album feel like filler songs. But this album was clearly written and produced with love and care. Every song. Every song is great. Where most k-pop groups' 'cutesy' songs are cringey at worst and bland at best, EXO somehow is able to access the heart of a fun or cute song and give it something fresh and sincere and...important somehow. Non Stop, Day after Day, and Butterfly Effect on this album are like that for me. Not to mention the absolute masterpiece bangers that are Groove and Ya Ya Ya and Baby You Are and woah if I mention any other songs I will have literally mentioned the whole tracklist!! Bruh EXO really is that good.

Ex'act: Monster is arguably *the* classic EXO title track. The chorus still gives me chills. But even though I love many of the songs in this album/repackage (Monster, She's Dreaming, Cloud 9, One and Only, White Noise) it just doesn't feel quite as special to me. EXO sets the bar really, really high.

XOXO: A little unpolished, sure, but XOXO is such an iconic album. Wolf... i know no one else likes it but the live remix!! The live remix!!!! Literally makes me want to cry every time I listen to it, it's so beautiful. That's all I'm going to say about that. Baby Don't Cry is also a gem. Heart Attack was way ahead of its time in my opinion. My Lady makes me feel nostalgic somehow, even though I never listened to it when I was young. It just makes me feel that bittersweet emotional feeling. And I unironically love Let Out The Beast lolll. I think I put this album relatively low on the list just because some of the songs sound pretty dated now--they remind me of something One Direction would put out (looking at you, 365. like actually i'd be surprised if that song wasn't originally written for 1D, it's uncanny).

The War: Okay this is the hottest take EVER because almost every EXO fan I know holds The War as their favorite album. But... oh god, I just don't like it one bit. There's only one song I genuinely love on that album and it's Boomerang, which isn't even from The War itself but from the repackage -_- I also sometimes enjoy Touch It? But I think the amount of annoyance The Eve, Ko Ko Bop, Forever, Diamond, and Chill give me... I mean they're still not terrible songs. But there's something about the production of them that bothers me? Often the instrumentation feels like it's competing with the heart of the song, like trying to be interesting at the expense of the song sounding cohesive and it just comes across as grating to me... yeah. And the vibe of the album is such a departure from EXO's established aesthetic and musical identity that it makes me question why they did it at all.

✦ how i got into them: I kind of told this story up above for the bias question, but I guess I'll talk about some of the first EXO songs I fell in love with. Obsession was one of them. Also Gravity, specifically this live performance of it--I remember actually screaming when Baekhyun opened the chorus lmao. It's interesting, because EXO's always mostly been about the music for me. Even though I've considered myself an EXO-L for almost two years now, I've never really watched a lot of reality/behind the scenes content for them. But I know their entire discography like the back of my hand, including every member's solo albums...

✦ which member would be my best friend: As I mentioned above, I don't really know the members as people as well as I'd like to. So answering this question is tricky. Probably Kyungsoo firstly. I get the impression he feels a little uncomfortable with the fame side of being an idol, and something about that really resonates with me. All through college instead of participating in school events or clubs I just find neighborhoods or woods as far away from campus as possible so i can escape from it all for a bit, and just simply exist and observe the natural world. It's hard to find other people who feel that way. I think I'd also love to be friends with Minseok and Jongin (i'm just choosing the shy line of EXO aren't I lol... but I get along best with fellow shy people, and they seem really genuine and sweet).
