What if Earth’s biomes are considered stupidly diverse by galactic standards?

You often see in science fiction planets having one biome with little to no temperature variation (forest worlds, snow worlds, desert worlds, ect.), so from their perspective Earth is a chaotic clusterfuck of wildly different worlds all stitched together into one planet. You can’t even go 100 miles on the planet without shifting between like 3 different biomes. The desert aliens could live in the Mojave Desert, but would freeze to death the moment they went north, and the ice planet aliens would feel right at home in Siberia, but anything below upper Europe and they die of heat exhaustion. The fact that humans can not only survive these extremes, but thrive in them blows their minds. We would be considered the galaxy’s expert survivalists, able to drop onto any planet with an atmosphere we can breath and dominate it like it was our cradle world. This would also terrify them to no end, because these durable, hyper-intelligent, apex pack predators could invade any one of their worlds if they wanted to. Everyone is super relieved that we pack bond with anything, and try their absolute hardest to elicit that instinct in us.

-in his eyes, he found the good in that whole problem.

-others, and even maybe you, might see him as overprotective, or overreacting, but he just says that "it's for your own good" and carries on with taking your mind off of things by talking to you about aranaras.

-he may be a bit strict, but it really is jsut because he cares for you. he wants the best for you, and hopes that he can be the one to help you get to there.

I have such weird, complex feelings about Elain. I feel like they might get me some hate but, I need to spit them out, the brain worms are trying to devour me. My thoughts on her are sort of two fold. What I get from canon!elain and what you get from the fandom. Canon Elain is soft and feminine, but so deeply selfish it actually drives me insane. ACOSF makes it clear she's always seen Nesta. Always perceptive enough to pick up on what is happening around her. She buys Feyre paint, she sees Nesta being abused by her mother, and she sees the hatred the IC holds for Nesta. Yet for all her perception, she never bothers to help even in the smallest manner. She is deeply catered to by her sisters. She even points this out when Feyre and the IC shows up to use their house when she's still human. She says she didn't do anything, she takes part of the blame for the first time in her life. Yet, nothing more comes of it. When she is suddenly fae, and could possibly help or have expectations placed on her, she turns catatonic. This only serves to infantilize Elain as little more than a child all over again. In ACOSF, she pushes and pushes Nesta until Nesta snaps. After what, a week? A couple weeks? Of being trapped in the HoW, after Elain didn't even have the spine to face her sister, only pack up her things and agree to imprisoning the one person who had ALWAYS had her side, who fought so violently for her, Elain runs crying that Nesta isn't any different. This doesn't make me hate Elain. It makes her complex. But it does make it hard for me to connect with her, as she seems to hide behind her softness, and it makes her seem so much more manipulative than Nesta ever was. But fandom Elain . . . ugh. I think in general, a lot of women reading ACOTAR are traditionally feminine. We're soft, we see ourselves as sweet, ect. And for some, it seems they SUPER project onto Elain and see her as an angel who deserves the "Shadow Daddy" who has never done any wrong, and see she finally sees how perfect Feyre is and has turned away from cruel Nesta. A huge argument I've seen is that Elain's the most powerful, her story is all about choice, and that's why she deserves Azriel. That she's never ever had a choice, and choosing Azriel will finally give that to her. I think there's so much potential in Elain, but are you fucking kidding me? Elain has had the MOST softness and choice out of all of the sisters. She was pampered even when they were at their poorest. Even their mother afforded Elain the chance to marry for happiness, where she abused both Feyre and Nesta. Nesta was groomed and physically abused, Feyre was neglected and forced to take on too much. After Feyre is taken by Tamlin, Elain INSTANTLY finds a love match that Nesta supports, Nesta fights only so Elain can be safe and happy. The Cauldren was GENTLE with her, it turned on the King because of how it felt about Elain. The Cauldron BRUTALIZED Nesta. It's just so exhausting to see this complex sister, who's just as bad as both Feyre and Nesta, rewritten into this self insert, flawless and soft creature who has nothing to answer for, only awaiting her Shadow Daddy smut. Especially since SJM does not know how to write traditionally soft women in a leading role. She has no idea how to portray strength without violence.

• He is definitely gonna make sure he is holding your hand or locking his arm with yours as an attempt to keep you from getting hurt

• Sadly something always happens, last time you and him were holding hands you walked face first into a pole at school (He felt so bad, he took you home, bought you different snacks to eat and even held your ice pack on your nose so you didn’t have to move a muscle)

• You can try and tell him that you get hurt a lot and that you’re just clumsy but he will still have that little bit of guilt in the back of his mind when you do get hurt

• Trust he will also be the type to carry a few bandaids and numbing cream in his backpack for you to use if an accident occurs (There will be plenty so you’ll be needing it)

• Definitely the type to let out a long sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose if you run into a wall, trip, stub your toe but it doesn’t leave you extremely hurt (He cares for you a lot but lord does he wish you could stay alright for 5 minutes)

• Overall he is very sweet to you and tries to make sure no harm happens but because it is you, something is always happening

Kyle💚:

• Probably the most stressed out of everyone, even more than you when you’re hurt

• He stays strapped with bandaids, creams, alcohol, ect., there is no way he is going to let you get some sort of random ass infection or let you get hurt to the point you’ll need to go to the ER (he is very dramatic about your clumsiness)

• It’s almost like he can see you hurting yourself before it even happens, you’re stumbling about to faceplant, he is there grabbing your arm to pull you up, you turn around a corner too quick and almost run into someone, he is yanking you back by your shirt (He tries his best to be gentle but sometimes he has just gotta yank and grab you quick, lol)

• Will definitely give you lectures while he is patching you up or making sure you’re alright, it just stresses him out to see you like this

• There have been a few instances where he has to keep himself from yelling at other people if he feels they might have been the reason you got hurt (He means it all in your best interest because he can’t see it only being your fault even if you say it was)

• Overall he can get stressed but enjoys taking care of you when you’re hurt, he could never be mad at you or the fact you’re clumsy

Cartman💛:

• Will absolutely laugh at you if he sees you run into something or trip

• If you don’t laugh too and get up after your fall or start grabbing wherever you got hurt at, he is gonna go quiet and get serious (He may be mean but if you’re really hurting he won’t be giggling)

• If you cry he is gonna be all like “Omg, I didn’t think you were that stupid.” and grab by your arm to take you somewhere to sit and maybe if you’re lucky he will give you a quick hug to try and make you feel better

• Definitely going to bring it up later and tell you something about being more careful and not being so dumb (He is really tying his best to sound reassuring)

• Is willing to help bandage you up and putting alcohol or cream on your wounds if you have them but will complain about it until he’s finished

• Overall he is so…Cartman about it, not the worst but not the best, He won’t ever tell you that he is worried about you getting really hurt but drops hints in his own way

Kenny🧡:

• He is also the type to giggle a little if you stumble or trip but ONLY if he knows you’re perfectly fine

• Says something like “Oh you got a little ouchie here let me kiss it and make it feel better.” In an annoying baby voice to try and make you laugh (It does and makes you focus on whatever pain you might feel a little less)

• He is definitely going to be a bit more level headed about it, not too worried but not too apathetic to the point you feel he doesn’t care

• Definitely going to watch over you as much as he can, like connected at the hip, where you go he goes just so he can try and prevent you from hurting yourself as much as possible (The effort is sweet but with your clumsy self, that ain’t doing too much)

• Also the type of person to draw the attention from you if you trip or hurt yourself in public just so you don’t feel embarrassed

• Overall he has the right idea and sometimes can save you from your little mishaps (It’s the thought that counts!!)

• Oh poor, sweet Butters, his heart can’t take it when you hurt yourself

• Whether its tripping over a piece of dust, hitting your head on your locker, running into a pole on the sidewalk, he feels so bad for you

• He will take you home right away when you get hurt, don’t matter when or where, you’re one of his top priorities especially if you're injured

• There was once an incident where he was trying to open his locker and you tried helping only for him to swing the locker open and hit you in the face (The guilt he felt that day still stays with him and he still tries to make it up to you…it was over 3 months ago)

• Isn’t the best with keeping creams, antibacterial soaps, and all that fancy stuff, so he sticks to his hello kitty bandaids to patch you up, obviously you don’t complain, it’s cute

• Overall Butters is a sweetheart like he is most of the time just with a bit more anxiety and worry when you're hurt (Man even if you aren’t he will be worrying about your next injury)

If it’s something small and you’re in the middle of something, like a mission, he’d encourage you to pull through. If you’re not in the middle of something then he’d take care of you 

A small illness can become bigger so he makes sure to address it right away

He knows random remedies you’ve never heard of. Jump down, turn around, pop your ass, swallow a lemon and now you’re ok

You’d recover way quicker with him watching over you 

And if I said he makes you meals will y’all boo me for making him soft?! Idc.

Once again, he’s the oldest. I’m the youngest so I’ve seen how much weight the older ones gotta carry. He for sure knows how to do things like cook, clean, take care of sick people, ect.

He’d ask Bi-Han for some help when it comes to soups and shit. Kuai Liang can cook but he recognizes that Bi-Han got a magic touch 

If you’re in the middle of a mission and feel unwell, he wouldn’t tell you to stop what you’re doing but he has you doing less. He’ll have you behind him and would suggest you to do simple things, like keeping watch 

If you’re not on a mission then he’d pay more attention. You expect that Bi-Han would have you wait and Kuai Liang would treat you right away but I think it’s the opposite. Bi-Han being the caregiver knows how annoying it is to take care of someone really sick (which could have been prevented) and Kuai Liang is the younger sibling who would put off mentioning his illness 

He’d have you track your symptoms at first to see if it’s something serious or something a quick nap could fix 

Lingers around you to make sure you’re ok

Cooks you warm meals if you’re cold but if you’re warm he’ll give you cold liquids 

You can’t sneakily miss taking your medication cause he’s on your ass. Probably has an alarm set and everything 

If you’re overly warm he won’t be all on you because he’s warm, but if you want physical touch he’ll let you hold his pinkie 

Bi-Han gives you remedies even if they taste absolutely vile but I think Kuai Liang would try to give you remedies that don’t taste that bad 

Has you laying down a lot so you can recover quicker. If you have no responsibilities to tend to he’s not letting you get up

Similar to Kuai Liang in the sense that if you’re on a mission he’ll want you to do less intense things, like keeping watch

If it was up to him, you’d be sent back home immediately. You’re just gonna get worse and you probably can’t focus 

If you have nothing to do then he’s basically right on top of you

I feel like he has random thoughts he doesn’t want to have and he makes himself paranoid. He’s the type to google his symptoms and legit starts to think he has cancer because WebMD said so

He also thinks out loud so he’s the type to say “what if you’re dying?… that actually wasn’t appropriate. I’m sorry”

Because of his paranoia he’s constantly checking up on you 

Kuai Liang but worse because you can convince him to let you move like a normal person but that’s not happening with Tomas

Tepache; A Fermented Pineapple Drink

If you hate waste, you're gunna love Tepache. Tepache is a drink made by the Mexican first nations by fermenting pineapple. Specifically, the pineapple peel. If you've ever processed a pineapple yourself, you know that when peeling a pineapple, a lot of the fruit comes off with it.

Pineapple is a great fruit for Happiness, Friendship, Prosperity and Vitality. It was used by locals as a staple crop for food, medicine, and even fibers for clothing. Later the Pineapple was used by Europeans as a symbol of wealth and hospitality because pineapples were hard to get from the Americas to Europe.

When you Ferment something, you are introducing Transformation and Growth properties. It's also good for opening secretes or reveling a new truth.

So how do you make Tepache? It's probably the easiest fermented drink and is made very quick by fermentation standards. The draw back being it needs to be drank soon. It can turn vinegary very quickly. In a large quart jar, pack it with pineapple peels. You can also use pineapple cores, but you want the skin of the pineapple in there. That's going to be the source of the natural yeast.

Add about a third cup of cane sugar. You can use more sugar if you want it sweeter, but I like sweet and a third cup was plenty. If you can't find cane sugar, you can use brown or yellow sugar.

Add some whole spices. You can use cinnamon sticks, as that's the most popular. But you can also try cloves, all spice, dried chilis, ect.

Top your jar with filtered water. Lid your jar and give it a quick shake to help dissolve the sugar.

Remove the lid, and now cover with a cloth or coffee filter. Secure with a rubber band.

Now leave you jar out at room temperature. Check after two days. Things should be bubbling and you should hear a slight fizzing. If not, give it another day. If you live in a cooler climate you may need more time. Mine took about three and a half days.

Once ready, you can either strain everything and keep the liquid (this will reduce the fizz but give you a cleaner drink) or take the chunks out manually with a utensil (Save the fizz, but a chunkier drink)

Pour over ice and drink. Store in the fridge to extend lifespan. About a week or two before it gets too sour for my liking.

i helped plan a party that we decided to throw together last second. It was a fairy themed garden party with a planned mini-concert. The concert had a $5 cover that would be donated to a trans mutual aide fund. it was just supposed to be a house party that was also a nice little community event on my friend's lawn.

my friend knows that i smoke to manage my joint pain and i have very specifically, and clearly, been given blanket permission to smoke on the property because they know me, i can handle myself, and again. it's not just recreational, even if other people (not my friend) think so based on the amount i fucking smoke.

the group of friends i have rn have never made me feel judged or wrong for this, which is extremely important to me bc this is an extreme source of shame for me that i'm still working on unpacking bc of the way I was raised.

anyways, there was a miscommunication where I was not told about this being a dry & sober party, which meant that It was NOT on the invitation that I made and was sent out to a few friend groups, who all did show up with alcohol. I also was not told about 1 of the 3 organizers wanting the event to be dry/sober until I arrived at the house with food, decorations, ect at 3:30 day of, so I couldn't make alternative arrangements.

but i had already like. made specific ones to smoke discreetly regardless bc i'm not an asshole. i use a vape if we are somewhere people might catch a glimpse of me. so this also had me frustrated with the interaction that i was going to have later. like i would have gotten some edibles or smth bc i knew my pain level was gonna be high from how busy the day would be.

it was really fucking hot, I have pretty bad heat intolerance already from disabilities, but also am on medications that make it harder to handle the heat. I had been overheated for 6 hours at that point, had been on my feet for most of it, and like. again. i helped organize the event, so i was there early for set up.

my friend whose house it was at is VERY good about understanding my disability and i cannot stress enough that they're like. 10/10. no judgement. they let me stay inside while people were setting up outside bc they believed me when I told them how sick I get. since i couldn't do anything outside, I set things up inside (food, cleaning, getting garbage) and made sure to clean up after the people who had come over early to hang out inside moved outside.

so i was tired. my hips were fucking hurting. i made an ice pack with the decision of going out and sitting on the lawn to draw and chill. to paint an image, we are all out on the lawn. people are clearly drinking. i'm minding my business, had just finished doing a puff-puff-pass with my vape that INCLUDED ONE OF THE OTHER EVENT ORGANIZERS. and again, i was just smoking a fucking vape.

this group of people all arrived together after we had been out on the lawn smoking and drinking for 15-20 mins. This child fucking zeroed in on me and just came over to me to tell me the event organizers said this was a sober event.

again, people were drinking. and i,,,,helped organize shit. i have a hard time emotionally regulating when I'm overheated like. I cannot handle too hot, it overwhelms me and i get overstimulated VERY quickly. which means i'm more emotional when dumb shit happens

it was such a small fucking interaction, but I heard this child like 5 mins later return to their group and loudly talk about how they had told the friend whose house it was and my friend covering my ass by saying "oh, it was for inside, only. outdoor isn't dry c:"

i was already not feeling the vibe. i felt really alienated earlier bc it's hard to connect with neurotypicals and i don't do well interacting with people in group settings once the numbers get too large. the house also was still empty bc my friend is moving in, so the sound echo inside was SO bad. i had nowhere to go to just let my senses calm tf down, my AC in my car doesn't work when the humidity is this bad, and i just

I just felt incredibly alienated in a way I hadn't felt in a long time. and i had already felt uncomfortable prior to this incident. there were a lot of people there i didn't know who were writers, but neurotypical. i was struggling to process anything anyone said bc of how loud it was inside, which was making me come off as extremely rude. i had someone tell me they were too intimidated to talk to me based on my appearance, but we had a lovely one on one and they realized i'm just very quiet.

and i can't fucking talk about where the root of THAT specific problem is bc we can't have a fucking conversation about desirability, beauty, and femininity without the "oh it must suck to have pretty privilege" bullshit. it's really fucking frustrating when you present as hyper femme, but are viewed as standoffish/bitchy simply bc you didn't accompany the hyper femme aesthetic with being overly bubbly, friendly, and social to accommodate for other people's own discomfort from your presence. like you have to make up for their perception of you by performing approachability.

i also hate the way people view weed vs alcohol. i hate that i'm made to feel this way for something that helps me manage a condition that i cannot get medical help for. it used to be the only thing i had for my fucking endometriosis pain, too, when i still had my uterus.

all those people were around the lawn drinking recreationally, but I got zeroed in on. while i was just trying to fucking bring my baseline pain back down bc i didn't realize how high it had gotten from being on my feet all day.

i'm just. frustrated. i don't even know what the fuck the crux of it is.

🥭 oooo! Hmmm I’d definitely say sunny, Marcy, Skye and Angie would all drink juice

Sunny - her favorite kind of juice is mango or pineapple juice, she doesn’t mind the fruit pulp that can be found in the juice and often saves the fruit pulp to make smoothies or mix it with water for her plants

Marcy - her favorite kind of juice is blueberry or raspberry juice, not to big a fan of the fruit pulp due to the texture so she mostly gives it to sunny or Angie to make into something else, or she’ll also use the pulp to feed her plants

Skye - orange juice or pomegranate juice, doesn’t mind the pulp much and will maybe use the pulp to make popsicles later. If she doesn’t end up using it she gives it to sunny, Angie or Marcy.

Angie - strawberry juice or apple juice, particularly strawberry is her favorite (she loves strawberry’s so much omg). She doesn’t mind the fruit pulp at all, actually she really enjoys the fruit pulp because she can make different kinds of snacks and foods with it and will absolutely take any fruit pulp her sisters didn’t want and save it to make food. Her favorite thing to make with fruit pulp is Ice-cream or bread

Sunny - oooo! For sunny, it would definitely be Casado with some pink lemonade. Specifically Casado because her, Marcy, Skye and Angie’s grandparents used to make Casado for lunch for them when they were little. It’s a huge comfort meal for her.

Marcy - for Marcy, it would be grilled cheese and tomato soup with either a glass of juice or flavored water. She absolutely loves the flavors of grilled cheese and the tomato soup, and will not hesitate to buy herself some from a local restaurant a few blocks away from her

Skye - for Skye, it would be homemade ramen with either a some nice iced tea or water. Skye absolutely loves making ramen and is constantly trying new recipes when she can. If she’s on the go, she usually packs herself some homemade ramen she made the night before just in case she needs a snack while she’s out and about.

Angie - for angie, it would be vegetable soup with a Caesar salad on the side and lemonade or juice to drink. She absolutely loves to cook, so while these two may be her favorite meals for lunch, she is always down to try new foods and recipes.

Sunny - doesn’t really snack at night, but when she does the first thing she will always go for is chopped fruits. Things like apple slices, mangos, grapes, blueberries ect. And then carry that bowl back to her room to eat until she feels ready to sleep again. While she’s snacking she may read or try and work on a crochet project

Marcy - usually won’t go eat when she feels she needs a snack at night, but when she does she usually goes for light snacks like apples and peanut butter or toast and jam, which she will carry out to her room to sit and play some video games or draw random things with a weighted blanket over her lap until she feels like passing out again.

Skye - usually has a snack at least one or twice a few nights a week, and that snack has always been some avocado toast or just an entire bowl of baby carrots and ranch. Which she will then take back to her room and snack on while watching random videos or anime and playing some video games to help her fall asleep

Angie - Angie usually doesn’t snack much at night, mostly because sometimes it can upset her Stomach. But when she does feel like getting herself a snack, she usually will grab herself some strawberry’s and pretzels to snack on or some cheese and crackers. Which she will ten take back to her room to snack on while she paints or works on some clay charms she was planning on turning into earrings or jewelry until she feels ready to go back to bed.

For the second time in our life, we got to be in the pride parade!

Got to sit in the back with our kiddo and wave at *so* many people, the area was packed, it was amazing. There were all the usual kinds of spectators (furries, baby lgbtq's/older lgbtq's, people dressed like they should be going to some fancy high-end party, ect.) and also some unusual ones too (the surprising number of church groups waving supportive signs, a *lot* of boomer Christians joining in with the cheers, it was a welcome kind of change to see honestly)

Still riding the high of almost matching the father's volume with a couple of pride calls and where he proudly shouted for us to be hyped up by the crowds (terrifying in the moment lmao)

Kiddo got to shout "happy pride" at the 2 lonely protesters, which was just icing on the cake

Really hope we can be in it again next year too

But then I get to make funny little jokes about how I was hurt and scared for life, i cope that way🤷‍♂️

I got so much fucking wrong with me it's no wonder my relationships go bad, I scare people and I'm fucked up so I pick fucked up people, I should stop huh but damn does hearing the words "I want you, need you, love you" does wonders for my serotonin

AND!! And I've never needed help to survive, I've done that shit on my own cause someone needed to raise me and it wasn't going to be my parents

Day 1 of top surgery

The capital day of surgery we had to get there about 2-3 hours before the actually procedure for admittance, IV, prepping, ECT. So we were scheduled to come in at 5 am for a surgery time of 7:30 am. We got there, went to general admission I gave them my emergency contact, signed some paperwork consisting of consent forms, hippa forms, and general stuff like that. Then we went to the surgery admissions. Once there they sent us to a surgery suit. Game me a cup for a urine sample, had me brush my teeth with a cleaning solution, had me clean the inside of my nose and had me change into the surgical gown.

They asked if I had any implants or anything metal, I told them about my facial piercings, which they put tape over, and my permanent retainer. Which wasn't something I really thought about and was an offhand "oh yeah I do have this" but am glad I remembered to tell the nurse.

The stuff for my teeth was had the same consistency of water but was minty and bubbled up a bit when I brushed my teeth, it was pretty sweet too. Not too unpleasant if you like mint ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯.

The nose cleaning was a lot like that orange stuff they wipe down the surgical site. Pretty goopy and I was told to wipe off a bit of the goo before using it. It did burn a little bit especially near my piercing, but was mainly like when you breath in 99% and it just kinda burns a bit.

After all that and I was changed into my gown the nurse came in to put in my IV, there was a numbing shot and then the IV. it didn't hurt and I was glad to have my sister and my mom there to distract me. I told the nurse of my apprehension and she explained to me the whole process with the needle and the IV and how it was put in and everything. Which was very reassuring for me as I like to know everything that's going on.

The saline itself was cold, and I could feel the coldness in my hand and arm and felt it slowly deep up further and further, though the chill did end before my shoulder. I didn't like the feeling, but my brother in law does. Had I known that it was have been cold I might have felt less unnerved about it.

At some point the tape around the IV started to really itch and aggravate my hand, I told the nurse about it and she gave me a large pack of ice to help.

I met the surgical nurse, the anesthesiologist, and my surgeon. The anesthesiologist told me what his process was. The anesthesia, the oxygen mask, and a breathing tube, the surgery would start, finish, and he would wake me up, then the tube would come out, I'd get oxygen, and be wheeled into a recovery room.

I do not remember anything between getting into place on the operating table and being offered crackers to make sure I could handle food on my stomach.

After I met the doctor the nurse came in, put socks on me, out a drive to prevent clots on my legs, covered me with a blanket and wheeled me out to the OR. I was warned it would be cold, bright, and probably a little scary. The nurses were very kind and led me through everything that would happen up until I fell asleep. They transferred me onto the bed and gave me some warm blankets and then I was pretty much out.

I woke up in another room, not the recovery room, where a nurse gave me sierra mist, some crackers and blankets until my body temp went back up. The blankets were pre warmed and very nice. After that I fell asleep again and woke up in the recovery room, where my mom and sister were waiting for me.

I was in a bit of pain that would fluctuate up and down, but nothing too bad. It was easy to ignore or kinda shove aside. The oxygen was taken out I was also really nauseous and was given some meds for that. After falling asleep and waking up a few times, the nurse led me to the bathroom and after that was all good, took out the IV. After a little bit I was given the instructions on how to operate my drains and was given the discharge paper work to head home same day.

Make sure you take your pain meds on time though. I was late to one cuz of the drive home and was in a lot of pain.

He is every lonely house-spouse's lifeline, even if he doesn't realize it. He's also the guy you call before the electrician or plumber. He's handy like that.

Everyone loves the summer, not minding the hot summer days because it means there's a high chance David will be outside doing yard work. At first it's just nice to watch him in his tank (I have a thing for David Shaw in a tank top ever since his HBS omg) as he does some work in his yard such as pruning, planting, weeding, watering, ect. Everyone is jealous of his next door neighbors who can see the way the muscles in his forearms, shoulders, and biceps flex as he works.

Then when the sun gets high enough and the heat intensifies, they are praying that he still has yardwork to do. Because then he'll take off his shirt and use it to wipe the sweat off his face before tossing it towards his open garage door to bring inside and wash later. You don't need to be next door to admire the sculpted back muscles. Every hetero, bi, gay, and anywhere in between is admiring this man (yes even the straight men because toxic masculinity doesn't exist in my fantasies.)

Unfortunately he's responsible, so he tends to finish all the work needed before it gets that hot. If the neighborhood is lucky, someone will need "help" mowing their lawn and ask David if he would please be a dear. And of course he does and everyone is all the happier for it. 🤤

Asher is literally the best. All the neighborhood kids adore him because he always has some fun game to play. He gives the parents a break from their summer vacation hyped children so they can relax on the porch with some iced tea, lemonade, or a beer. Maybe a glass of wine. Hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

And plenty of the parent love to watch Asher run up and down the street with a huge grin on his face. The sleeveless shirt he wears that shows off his arms so nicely has nothing to do with it.

Or the way he'll lay in his yard with nothing but a pair of shorts and sunglasses on as he sunbathes, lithe body all stretched out and muscles taut and on full display.

Or the way he'll set up a sprinkler in his yard and run through it so the water droplets trace every dip and line of him.

Or the water balloons he'll fill up and his shirt that clings to his skin while he pushes back his wet hair from his face. And of course wet shirts are uncomfortable, so it's only logical to take it off.

Milo has the best garage sales on the fucking block. His design and clothing tastes are absolutely impeccable. And he's one of the very few men that can pull off a patterned button down. He manages to wear them unbuttoned and make it look classy.

No one thinks it's because of the way it lets the light from the sun and the shade dapple across his abdomen.

The kids don't like him because he takes the market for best lemonade. They don't know that the adults like it so much because it's spiked. The kiddies get normal crystal light lemonade.

Milo who gets a lot more attention whenever he's indulging his oral fixation with a lolly or a Popsicle. Sometimes if they're lucky, he'll have an ice cream cone and the ice cream will melt a little and start to run down his hand, so he'll have to lick it up while the neighbors try not to imagine him licking something else.
