I'd thought I remembered, in the Knights of Requital planning, someone mentioning the gala being moved, because it gave the Nein an extra day to prep, and Dolan did specify that it had been unexpectedly pushed back a day, but doesn't suggest he knows why. (It's not clear to me based on the conversation when this change happened—it's possible Dolan has simply heard this update recently, but it also might've been a last minute change.) I was wondering because the timing of the Zauberspire attack coinciding with the gala seemed odd.

It is very narratively convenient, of course, and certainly the Kryn spies could've been using it for the same reason that the Knights of Requital were—important figures of the city were distracted and otherwise occupied, and Thuron does give an indication that Ulog was feeding them information as well, so he certainly could've suggested that timing to both.

But two things about the attack struck me: first, that the Zauberspire does not seem to be very far from where the gala is held, which makes it less of a distraction and more of a liability for covert military operations; and second, the Assembly reacts instantly. Moreover, Trent is already there, though he normally resides in Rexxentrum. He doesn't exactly seem the type to show up for annual holiday festivities, given he doesn't stand to gain much if anything from hobnobbing with a bunch of regional socialites, and Ludinus later suggests he is not exactly being dispatched to events as a diplomatic entity. Of course he can be in another city quite quickly, but this all happens so quickly that I find it unlikely that there would've been time to inform someone in another city prior to apprehending the infiltrators, given the immediacy with which the mages respond.

The point being, I think they were warned.

I've been wondering about something for a little bit so fuck it I'm making a 24hr poll about it. Lets start with the context... I will put examples of what I mean under the poll if you need them.

SO

Imagine, you find a fic on Ao3. It's caught your eye as you scroll and you take the time to look over its information. You like the look of the summary, it's got your favourite characters in the spotlight, and a lot of the tagged descriptors look interesting to you. This looks like something you would like to read.

However, you recognise a few character names from the Tales from the Pizzaplex books in the tags, or perhaps, you know from following the author that they have most likely put some stuff they found cool from the books into this fic. They say in the fic tags that there's some book stuff that they've made their own in it, and they have clearly tagged a few of the Security Breach/Ruin characters as being the primary protagonists. The summary also doesn't mention any obvious book stuff or theory stuff either. You can tell this is not about the FNaF lore or theorising or anything too. Aside from that, all you truly know is that it looks interesting, has your blorbos in it and that the book animatronics are not the main focus of the AU fic.

With this in mind...

A few examples of animatronics that could be in the fic: Zeus the Sea Dragon, Tiger Rock, the Bobbiedots.

A few examples of concepts that could be in the fic: The 'sewer' of retired animatronics, an entire line of Mimic animatronics in at least one pizzeria, there having been a large range of discontinued attractions/animatronics at the pizzaplex before Security Breach.

Just to be clear, in case you're wondering, these results will not effect whether I do something with book stuf in it or not. I'm just curious.

Putting this in the main SB and book tags for a larger sample size. You can also reblog if you so desire, but I'm not pushing anyone for it. Literally just curious where people are on this

god ok so @jatp-renaissance is a real blog now as of this morning and the basics of it are set up. I'm working on setting up a queue, an event calendar, and mod applications (because holy hell I will not be managing this on my own even with the obscene amount of free time in my life, i have to save time to clean the litterbox you know?) and will post there about them as they come to fruition. It is empty right now, but it will not always be, so if you want to keep a closer eye on the development you'll want to hop over there.

Anyway! Your description of me is very interesting because like. Self-sufficient energy. You're right. I do have a sister, but we're not close, we live in the same house and I speak to her maybe once or twice a month. And that's just like a sentence or two. So functionally in my day to day life it's like I don't even have one and I AM out here endlessly entertaining myself with my silly stories and arts and crafts and games. I'll never get bored of them. The little guys in my head...they have so much lore...

honestly i just want chuuya to have another winning moment tbh. just one would be fine. like... seeing him being used as a pawn by fyodor in the latest chapters just makes me project my insecurities and fears onto him whoops makes me feel so bad for him and i think he deserves it!! just once!!
