False Hero AU

@rovobeam everything you've been drawing for this hurts my soul and I love it.

SO! 👏 The False Hero AU is all about what would have happened if Macaque won the fight with Wukong on the journey. After sealing Sun Wukong under Flower Fruit Mountain, Macaque continued to impersonate him for a while, travelling with the pilgrims until… well, until the journey ended prematurely. Once he no longer had to deal with that, Macaque was free to do just… whatever he wanted. However, with the Monkey King gone, the world was still in need of a hero.

It wasn't like Macaque planned this all from the start. He saved some villages because, well, he was just in the area. As he did tho, he started to be seen as more and more of a hero. People didn't have to worry about the old Monkey King coming to save them anymore, not when this new one was doing so well!

The attention and praise eventually got to his head, and Macaque began to embrace the role he'd been given. He liked being a hero, having all these people admire him. Wukong abandoned him to join those stupid monks, but now? He had the love of the people Wukong used to protect. Of course, he didn't want all this attention and praise to waiver if anyone thought to look back on what really happened during the journey. Nobody even knew what happened to Sun Wukong after the other pilgrims died, which left Macaque to shape the story and tell the tale of what happened himself.

By the time the modern age hits, everyone that heard of the Journey to the West knows about how the hero Six-Eared Macaque bravely defeated the rampaging Sun Wukong, the Corrupt Sage who thought he was equal to heaven. In this world, it's Macaque who becomes MK's mentor. Unlike Wukong tho, he is a much more active presence in the city, acting as its guardian and local hero instead of going into retirement.

Everything was going well for him! He's beloved by the city he protects, he's surrounded by friends that love and care about him, and he loved them just as much. Sure, he sometimes had to make sure people didn't catch on to the real story, there was still the rare individual that would question the facts– but there was nothing to prove his version of events were false. He even keeps his scar visible so the world can remember what Wukong did to him in their fight. There was nothing to make the majority of people question him, anyway.

…That is, until MK finds the seal keeping Sun Wukong under Flower Fruit Mountain.

It's not like Macaque told the kid about the monster under the mountain, how could he have known not to touch it? Macaque may have been angry, but he wouldn't hold it against his student. However, this newly freed Wukong posed a very big threat. No matter who got in his way, whatever attempts Wukong makes to tell the world otherwise, Macaque would have to make sure his status as the real hero remained intact. This would result in many battles between the two mystic monkeys, and with MK by his side, he often came out on top. Macaque just had to keep painting Wukong as the villain, a demon returning to lay waste to their home. He'd do anything to ensure his version of history was the right one.

And Macaque refuses to let anyone stand in his way.

Updating Stan's look in the modernity AU for new year!

It's not a permanent thing and honestly I might make some slight edits every now again with accessories. Also, the only reason he doesn't have his jacket is because Fidds isn't giving it back LMAO- anyway!

Stan grows out his hair throughout the year and only cuts it short twice to let his scalp breathe. Every new year and in the middle of the year(Late June/Early July) he cuts his hair short and styles it back. It's also like this that both he and Ford give their professors headaches because they can't tell who is who with 100% certainty.

He also now has the golden oyster pin which Caryn gave him for christmas(Ford has a six-fingered one too, I'll probably draw him next). It's actually a brooch pin but he placed it on his beanie anyway because this man doesn't wear a blazer and a brooch pin would look weird on his T-shirt. I also did away with the red stripe considering that it's a very striking call-back to childhood, I'm doing away with it in the more symbolic sense since he is growing up(partially, it's Stan when does he ever do away with his childlike sense of wonder).

Just a year left until he finishes undergrad, keep going boiyo!

I've gone back into an huge high school story hyperfix for No apparent reason for this past month and half so i decide to make a new tumblr! it's been a while since i've been in an fandom space so i decide to stick to an more niche(? i guess) fandom with not so many people still here as it's not as overwhelming for me.

these girls have been with me since 2013 and 2014 respectively with many many different changes! however their core characteristics have stayed the same.

i was planning on drawing them about a week ago buuut my drawing tablet has decided to die on me and my only drawings of them are from <2022. which isn't ideal. then i remembered a few days ago i can just create them on sims, so for the time being i'll use ts4 as a way to visualize them until i get a new tablet!

a little brief introduction to them -

vivienne is my high school story prime mc and she transfers over to berry high in her sophomore year. bc of this the timeline is a bit different to the canon one (especially since the choices games are canon to the original timeline) as in my tl hss prime takes course from her sophomore to senior year (there's NO way all the stuff that happens in hssp happens in one year!!! pixelberry u can not convince me otherwises!!!). side confession but despite hss/hwu being an defining part of me i've never touched choices... which means i've just never considered were those games would fit into my timeline. so i guess i'd consider my tl an au.

agnieszka or angel is my hollywood u mc who i miss dearly and i'll forever be torn up by the fact that hwu is unplayable now. she's vivienne half sister (vivi is a product of affair. there's A LOT of lore that i'll hopefully go into in later posts) and the two aren't aware of eachothers existence until around 2010. despite this angel loves the fact she has an younger sister, even in unconventional circumstances, and wishes to grow closer to her. vivienne is hesitant at first but by 2018ish they have a very good relationship!! sure it takes a while but the two had to overcome a lot when it comes to their family.

for the years vivienne starts berry high in 2013 and agnieszka starts hwu in 2014 (basically when the games came out). they don't start having an consistent relationship until about mid-to-late 2015.

also this is my first time doing character sheets that aren't heavily drawn so hopefully they aren't too hard to read/understand. this is all i'll say for now as i don't want this post to get too long! i'll drop more info abt them as this month goes by.

Fuck it, we ball.

So, after the disaster, that is this, the Abyss decides that it really can't afford to waste anymore time. It's let them have many happy weeks. It HAS to act.

It sends CPU and Lag to Computer Hell to not only let the inmates out but distract Antivirus enough so he can't stop them. Obviously, he (Antivirus) knows them enough (and has common sense) to know that this isn't them. Unfortunately, the Abyss also sent Phobos as back up, so Antivirus really doesn't have any way of stopping them.

Once those two have completed their purpose? Well, for CPU, it just violently disconnects him from its mind control, causing all of his programs and systems to do an emergency shutdown and throws him into a random server. Fun!

As for Lag, it lets Black Doom decide whatever he wants to do with Lag. And considering there is no way to get the information out of Lag, he just decides to let the Admin go. Antivirus, thankfully, nabs him just in time to get the hell out of dodge and to NWO. The Admin also had the foresight to send a message as soon as those two showed up, so everyone back in NWO is already on edge and getting ready.

Unfortunately, it does do very little against the fact that there was the scouting squad, and its the LITERAL ABYSS AND BLACK DOOM WITH ALL HIS GUYS, PLUS ALL THE INMATES.

So, that's fun for them. Thankfully, with the somewhat early warning from Antivirus, they were able to get all the people who couldn't fight out of there. Just in time, too.

As when the villains arrive?

Turns out the Abyss has figured out the ability to lock down an entire server, so no one, not even Database, can get IN or OUT.

And between all the shit that goes down? They're going to be fighting for their lives.

Plus, on top of all that...

Juliano can only wonder if this is what Princess Peach felt like every time she got captured by Bowser.

Except the difference being it is an Eldritch Abomination that is holding him hostage, trying to break him mentally, and also is that fucking COOKIE??

It clearly is her, but she's freshened up. Her spider legs are back, clearly repaired by the Abyss, judging by how they're pitch black. She's wearing.. different clothes, too. And Juliano has to admit, they are really nice. It's a bit like a priestess outfit, but it's also extremely practical.

He gives credit where credit is due. She looks nice. As does the other Program standing next to her, but he doesn't know that one.

Juliano, also, really wishes he hadn't been snatched in front of Forum, Domain, and Emulator, because he's quite sure they've noticed what the hell is going on with him, and now he really can't deny it.

"Ah- Creator!"

Oh, thank god, it's Abyssal.

In the cramped cage, Juliano turns his head to looked at the pink goddess. Her wings flapped as she landed on the platform, and he feels relief as their eyes meet.

Out of the corner of his eye, as she begins to discuss something, a private message box appears.

> JLINO: 👍

She smiles a bit at that.

> ABYSSL: 🤕?

> JLINO: 👎

It's a little annoying that they have to speak in emojis, but at the same time, Juliano is thankful.

The box suddenly disappears, and Abyssal looks horrified as they look at the Abyss. Who had turned to look at him with a grin that spells nothing good.

It melts away, and tendrils drop down.

He even hears Cookie suck in a breath, Cluster mutter an "Oh that's too far.." and Abyssal just looks horrified as her wings flare out.

But Juliano can't hear them as he stares at what the tendrils hold, eyes pinpricks.

Are these familiar? the Abyss mocks in his head.

Juliano can't even answer. Because there's tears falling down his face, and there's a desperate aching need for him to GET THOSE AWAY FROM IT, GET THEM AWAY NOW.

But he can't.

And so he's forced to watch as the Abyss carelessly dangles the two things he wants the most, the plushed Cody and Mandy made for him, right in front of his face.

All while it cackles.

(As she watches, Abyssal sucks in a deep breath. Suddenly, beating back the Abyss just became a lot more personal.)

2023 Art Summary!

In all honesty, despite having a bit of a creative slump for a few months, I think I've made some really good stuff this year that I'm very happy with ^u^

I hope you created so many Fanfiction I'll die when I'm reading it. I hope you complete at least one of our Oc's story. Probably Zaria :) I'm really excited to see what we do. I hope this gives you courage, creativity, and so much more. I hope none of our friends left or worse... Let this be what you're looking for in life :0

Sadly, I haven't posted any stories yet but I'm almost done with one :) I had so many ideas for writing, but I don't wanna overwhelm myself. Things were going smoothly until this week, the family isn't that well, especially what just went down. Everyone was so scared... Kinda feeling depressed and stressed again too. Cherry left, and I didn't get to say anything about it.. But I'm hoping that life will get better! I haven't been writing as much, probably because I feel I'm starting Tumblr over again :0 but I promise that I will at least finish 2 stories! >:3 I'm telling ya, the idea that I'm been thinking of for the past 2 weeks are amazing, even better when you get that AO3 account :D I'm feeling better already, but for now, I kinda feel weak, useless, probably stupid.. But I'm working on that, trying to say I'm not :( With my friend's help, I'll recover. That's all I can say for now, but next month, hopefully will be different, better, and more successful.
