Shipuary day 15, Water c'mon, WATER?! OFC I'm gonna draw the CLASSIC Percebeth underwater kiss. also, how is this only like, the third time I've drawn Percebeth? I gotta fix that lmao. but fr, they are one of THE BEST book couples I have EVER read. (along with Alex and Magnus from MCGA and Nick & Charlie from Heartstopper) they're just SO CUTE and I love that this is that one scene that like, all the RRVerse artist will eventually redraw, so I decided, it was time for me to add my ver to the collection. I've mentioned a few times now that I've been planning for April and Casey to end up together in the AU. Romance isn't really a focus of a AU's story, so I haven't gotten around to drawing it yet, but dammit it's valentines now I want some sapphics

Anyway, I imagine they catch feelings for each other properly between season 2 and the invasion. Almost everyone are getting along well enough with each other and April and Casey specifically start growing closer. Casey specifically has no idea how to handle romantic feelings like a normal person and goes a little bit crazy with trying to impress April, to everyone's shock and horror is actually works.

Mostly Donnie's shock and horror though, let's be honest. He has High Standards for whoever his future sister-in-law is gonna be and Casey does not meet them lmao. He tries to recruit everyone else to join him in sabotaging Casey's and April's relationship, but he's not very successful so yeah he's kinda on his own with this haha.

one thing i don’t see talked about is that will solace would also probably have a complicated relationship with percy in kind of a similar way that nico does.

percy collapsed the bridge that killed michael and forced will into the head of the infirmary and head counselor position. it’s not unreasonable to think that a 12 year old grieving the death of his older brother/role model would blame percy for michael’s death the same way nico blamed percy for bianca’s death.

One of the underrated funny moments in The Son of Neptune for me will always be when Mars was asking for a pen and he was like "200 Romans and no one has a pen" because my mind was thinking about the fact that Percy did technically have a pen but he was a Greek and he fucking hated Ares too much either way lmao. Plus he didn't know the pen could write. He still wouldn't have given it to Mars though if he knew.
