honestly the best thing about creating and curating this account is sharing with everyone these years in the start of lando’s professional career and the true importance and role carlos plays in it, vice versa, and the stuff that was important to me, the stuff that got me to laugh and smile, or cry and yell, i get to choose the pieces of their history and share it with people, a lot of what i post is for myself and for them, and i do think maybe the next generation could stumble upon this blog and see what it was like for them, at heart
#sorry i’m just a little emotional#this community has grown so big and i might sound like i’m in the retirement home#but i’m only nineteen and i turn twenty this year#i’ve spent all my teenage years supporting carlos and lando and when carlos left mclaren i wasn’t sure what would come of it#i’m glad i’ve stayed and walked back and checked in and continued to see them flourish#i can’t find it in myself to care of how popular this blog is how good a post does but i’m collecting memories#i’m keeping them safe and putting them here#ivana’s comments

BOY NEXT DOOR 9 - ( c.s )
part eight
summary- you and your roommates live beside a bunch of senior hockey players, one of them being the infamous team captain chris sturniolo. he’s effortlessly flirty and undeniably attractive, but he’s also a pain in your ass. you find that you have to fight between lust and hatred as you finally get to know the boy next door, whether you want to or not.
warnings- angst, swearing, i think that’s it
a/n: i’m back my little goblins let’s get it!!!! part ten of this series will be the final part, and then i plan on writing an ‘epilogue’ type chapter to wrap it all up. i’m hoping to have them up as quickly as possible, but ive been absolutely slammed so im sorry if it takes me a minute. i love u always and i’ve missed being on here so i hope you enjoy <3
(if you asked to be tagged in the last part and weren’t tagged it’s bcs it wouldn’t let me!! i’m so sorry i tried my hardest)
to be let down, you have to expect something from someone. it’s a mistake you’ve made far too frequently in your years on earth, especially in college, but this time around the grief is debilitating.
you spend the rest of your weekend locked inside your room, attempting to sleep away the heartbreak. somehow dreaming almost makes it worse; for a second you’re able to forget about being completely humiliated, until you wake up in reality once more.
it doesn’t help that chris has been absolutely blowing up your phone since the moment you left. every call and text goes unanswered. it’s impossible to read them, so most of the time you don’t.
hell, you can’t even open your curtains because you’re too scared that he’ll be looking back at you when you do. so you block out the sunlight, ensuring that your room matches your dreary feelings.
you figure he’ll give up on trying to talk to you eventually. you’re not different. he’s not different. and once chris regains that pride of his, he’ll go right back to fucking some other girl he won’t care about half as much.
thoughts like those make you cry even harder, as much as you hate it. but you know the disinterest will wash over him sooner or later, and you resent that inevitable day.
cassidy and ramona check on you pretty much every other hour. it makes you feel even worse that they’re so concerned, but neither of them have ever seen you like this. at least not since freshman year, when you dated an upperclassman for a couple months just for him to dump you over text.
even that heartache was relatively short-lived. but this pain follows you into the week, trailing behind you like a shadow you can’t get rid of. it sits beside you in class, curls up next to you in bed, weighs your shoulders down whenever you walk.
it feels like you’re struggling to stay afloat, to even act like a real human anymore. chris consumes your brain, and so do the ‘what if’s’ of your situation. it makes the week drag on, even though you try to spend most of it asleep.
to make matters worse, his multiple notifications continue with a routine consistency, almost like clockwork. you figured he’d already be over it, but he clearly doesn’t want to make himself easy to forget.
you have to admit that you’re glad his persistence lasted at least this long, even if it’s for selfish reasons. you’re disgusted that the attention satisfies you, but it’s not an unwelcome change considering all you’ve been feeling lately is queasy.
still, you don’t read them, or pick up when he calls. you can’t hear his voice, because you know it’ll absolutely break you.
and then finally, on friday, you see him in the flesh. you’re walking home from your bus stop after the only lecture you managed to get to that day, and there he is, getting out of his car.
your throat seizes up; there’s no way to avoid this. it’s easy to ice someone out over text, but it’s a hell of a lot harder when he’s your neighbor.
before you can snap your head away he’s turning to look in your direction, eyes equally as wide as yours once the recognition washes over him. he looks like shit, and yet he’s still so goddamn beautiful it makes you physically sick.
for a brief moment, everything stops. you just stare at each other.
chris takes in you in, the way you look noticeably drained. he feels that familiar nauseous pang in his stomach flare up, knowing that he stole the spark from your eyes.
the worst part is that you’ll never look at him with that fire again. there’s nothing he can do to bring it back now, no way to reverse the past.
then—before he can decide what to do in the present—you break the spell, cutting through your other neighbor’s lawn to get to your front porch. everything in him wants to run after you, so much so that he has to physically restrain himself.
you hear him calling after you, and something about him shouting your name stirs the tears awake once more. but you make it through the door before they fall, because you can’t show any more vulnerability than you already have.
getting inside doesn’t mean that you make it up the stairs, though. the physical and emotional exhaustion catches up to you, and you collapse around halfway through your blurry climb to your room.
your elbows dig into your kneecaps, hands holding your head while you sob. it seems impossible to catch your breath, or calm down in the slightest, and your cries only grow louder.
normally you’d be careful about the noise, but there’s no one to hide from right now. nobody is home. it’s just you and your thoughts, which, as always, are full of him.
you may be able to push him out of your life, but you have a feeling he’ll be lingering in the corners of your mind forever.
the post-game locker room mood is completely miserable tonight. after that last minute loss and the thirty minute bitch-session they just endured from their coach, it honestly should be.
chris barely even has his skates off before his teammates are all over him, which he expected but still dreaded.
his head’s not in it, and everybody knows.
“what the fuck is wrong with you, man? it’s like you’re not even awake out there.” one of the team’s leading defensemen, luke, yanks him up by his jersey roughly.
for a second he pauses, setting his jaw and puffing his chest out slightly. the accusation, though it’s not completely untrue, pisses him off.
so much so that chris retaliates by shoving him back to his rightful place a foot away. “get the hell off of me, man.”
luke looks like he’s ready to jump into action again, but connor steps in between before anything else can happen. he’s also very visibly angry, a side that doesn’t come out often.
and just because he stopped a physical fight from breaking out doesn’t mean he’s going to stay silent. “he’s right. you’re playing like shit, and we‘re way too far into the season to be blowing it now, especially with selection show right around the corner.”
chris can feel his blood is boiling at this point, knowing that even his roommate is going to support this kind of disrespect towards his own captain. the rest of the team is watching silently, but he can’t find it anywhere in himself to care.
the words have already bubbled up, and he won’t hold them back anymore.
“oh come on, it’s not like anyone else was stepping up! dylan turned the puck over every other play, ben was offside during that odd man rush, and don’t even get me started on you and the high sticking penalty that just lost us that fucking game.” he shoves his pointer finger against connor’s chest for emphasis, trying to make sure his criticism stings as much as possible.
but his friend is quick to swat his hand away, shaking his head once sharply.
“no, you don’t get to turn it on everyone else. you lost it for us during that sorry excuse of a penalty kill. you let that little UMass shit go right by you, which is why he had a wide open shot to score the game winner. you’ve been making dumb mistakes like that for two weeks now, and we all know why.”
that implication is enough to send chris over the edge, because nobody has the right to mention what happened between you and him. knowing about the situation doesn’t mean they should get to speak on it.
he can feel his fingernails digging into his palms, both hands balled into tight fists at his side. the anger coursing through his body makes him shake ever so slightly, almost like he’s humming.
“keep going and i’ll bust your fucking face in.” chris says, voice eerily calm despite the fact that his body is screaming.
but connor doesn’t back down; he stands tall with an unwavering gaze that’s more serious than ever before. “you gotta grow a pair and start being our captain again. you fucked up, and losing someone you’re actually into because of that sucks. most of us have been there. but trying to throw everyone under the bus is bullshit when you’re the one that needs to get it together.”
nothing about his words are intentionally meant to hurt, and chris knows that, but for some reason they do. probably because he doesn’t want to hear the truth, or start coming to terms with the fact that he actually did lose you.
he really doesn’t ever want to accept it.
but his ego won’t let him say that. instead, chris shifts his gaze to observe the rest of the room, at all of his teammates, before focusing on connor once again.
“if you don’t think that i’m your captain anymore then find a new one.” he spits.
the room somehow gets even more quiet; everyone is stunned by the out-of-character reaction. for the most part, chris really is a good leader. they all voted for him to represent the team when it came time, and the group dynamic has been great since then.
but he doesn’t feel like that guy now. he’s not sure who he is anymore. so he throws the rest of his equipment into his bag and yanks it over his shoulder.
“really, chris?” it’s ben this time, who’s clearly dumbfounded by the theatrics.
he doesn’t respond, and he tries not to hesitate too much as he makes his way out of the locker room. everyone lets him pass, which makes it even harder to leave.
it feels so wrong, but his feet keep pushing him forward regardless.
when chris finally makes it home twenty minutes later, the frustration has only festered. he doesn’t like anything he’s doing, and yet it’s spiraling out of his control. by the time he gets to his room, tears of aggravation have made their way down his face.
he wipes them away harshly as he stares out his window at your room, which is still closed off by your curtains. it’s like his heart seizes up just from being this close to you, knowing that you’re in there yet he can’t reach you.
and maybe that’s the problem. chris loves hockey, but at the end of the day he clearly loves you more. and with things the way that they are, his heart is fully wrapped up in you, not the game.
it’s terrifying, and it’s painful. he never thought that there’d be anyone to test his bachelor lifestyle until you came around, and he can’t just go back to normal because he doesn’t know how.
he’s been permanently changed, and it feels like a huge part of his new life is suddenly missing.
you saw the deepest parts of him, parts that he didn’t even know existed, and he saw the same side of you. you challenged him in ways he’d never experienced, and he loved that he always felt like he was evolving when you were together.
now he just feels stagnant, unsure of himself.
the only thing he’s sure of is that he needs you, whether that makes him inconsiderate or not. he can’t keep sleepwalking through life, but he’s not sure what else there is to do.
simply put, he misses you like hell. so he lays back in bed and closes his eyes, trying to remember what it felt like to have you right beside him.

Tornado Wrangers Need Good Boots
Chris smiled as he hit the alarm on the motel’s bedside table. Today was the day, after years of watching his videos, Chris was finally going to meet the tornado wrangler himself, Tyler Owens. Chris had booked his trip down to Oklahoma during peak Tornado season for the best chance of meeting his idol. He had picked correctly. Last night, Tyler made a post telling his fans that he was going to be in Davenport for a fillup and some new gear and Chris had wasted no time driving up and checking himself into the city’s motel. He got up and threw on a shirt, quickly making his way outside.
Next to the gas station across the street, a small group of fans were already gathered, waiting for Tyler to arrive. He joined them just in time to see the signature red Ram pulling into the station, country music blaring loudly from the speakers. The fans began to shout and cheer and Chris joined them. As the car rolled to a halt, Tyler stepped out and everyone went wild. He flashed a smirk as he hopped down and walked over to greet his fans.Chris felt himself buzzing with excitement and also felt something stirring in his pants. He ignored the feeling and waited for his turn to meet the Tornado Wrangler. When Tyler finally approached him, Chris eagerly shook his hand.
“My name’s Chris, I’m a huge fan. I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I was wondering, what exactly does it take to join your team?” Tyler gave a cocky smile.
“Well I’m glad to hear you've been enjoyin’ my streams.” He said, his accent piercing his voice. “There’s a lot of aspects to the craft that go beyond ridin’ around and seeing what we can do to those beauties of nature. There’s always-” He paused and gave a look that Chris couldn’t quite place. Knowing, almost.
“Say, you seem like a smart guy, adventurous too. You think you’ve got what it takes to be with the Tornado Wrangler?” Chris grinned. “Yes sir!”
“Good. Maybe we do have an opening on our team. If you’re interested of course.” Tyler smirked.
Christ couldn’t believe his ears. “Really?” “Sure!” Tyler clapped him on the back, “We came here for equipment, who’s to say you’re not? Metaphorically of course…”
“Holy shit! Wow! When can I start?” Chris thought about his job and his family back in New York, but this was the chance of a lifetime! “Right away. I presume you’re staying at the motel? Come, let’s go grab your things.” Tyler led the way as they walked back to the motel.
Christ opened the door and quickly began to gather his things. His mind was already racing with how crazy this all was. Tyler just sat calmly at the couch. “So, what exactly will I be doing on the team?” Chris asked as he turned to face Tyler. “Ah well,” Tyler began to take off his cowboy boots and rested his feet up on the coffee table. “I think that I have the perfect job for you.” Chris was about to enquire further when he smelled it. An earthy smell, musky, part B/O, part dirt. But also slightly sweet, masculine, and intoxicating. He couldn’t help but feel drawn to the Wrangler’s sweaty, musky feet. He walked across the room towards Tyler, almost trance-like.
“Like what you see? Or smell, should I say?” Tyler smirked, watching him approach. The smell, Chris craved it now, he needed it. He couldn’t control himself as he bent down and began to sniff. Deep, hypnotic intoxicating whiffs. “That’s it, keep goin’ good boy.”
Chris began to lick, taking in the salty, musky taste in deep licks. He felt his cock begin to stir in his jeans as he continued taking in Tyler’s musky soles.
“You’re doing so well Chris, that’s right, keep going.” He encouraged as Chris inhaled hypnotic whiff after hypnotic whiff. He began to moan as felt himself getting hard, his sensitive tip already leaking pre. Tyler pushed his foot into Chris’s mouth and let the other one rest on his growing bulge.
“Such a good boy, I was hopin’ to get a new pair of boots on this stop, and you’re just perfect.”
Chris’s mind was too hazy to process what Tyler had said, all he could think about was how good his feet smelled, how much he needed them. Nothing else mattered other than Tyler’s sweaty, hot feet. Oblivious to all around him, he barely felt the Wrangler stick his foot deeper into Chris’s mouth. As his over foot began to tease Chris’s leaking cock, Chris tried to let out a moan of pleasure but found himself unable to. It was as if his vocal cords were gone and his body was changing, but he didn’t care, all he cared about was Tyler’s musk. Tyler smiled as he saw Chris’s body begin to change, stiffening, changing composition. Chris himself could do nothing but melt in pure pleasure, his mouth and head began to change, taking more of Tyler’s foot in. While his sight and sound were getting worse, he felt his taste and smell getting better. He could feel Tyler’s foot wriggle around and felt the musk as his head continued to wrap around the hairy, sweaty foot. In the meantime, his cock started to flatten out as he felt his lower half wrap around Tyler’s other foot, his now-leather dick still so sensitive, but never able to cum.
Tyler relaxed back as Chris’s transformation finished, now a pair of nice leather cowboy boots. He yawned and stood up.
“Well thank you partner. Looks like you do have what it takes to go on the road with us after all.” He let himself chuckle as he left the motel.
Chris’s mind (or what was left of it), didn’t mind. It felt so good to worship that smell, to be Tyler Owens’s boots. He didn’t miss his human life, he was right where he belonged. At the feet of the Tornado Wrangler’s musky, sweaty soles.

I have just got into F1 and it’s fast become my autistic hyperfixation and I’m glad I’ve found writers like you! I was wondering if maybe you could write something for Nico? He’s my favourite! Maybe reader has a bad crash or something similar to your heat fic where reader faints into his arms/ has a febrile seizure from dehydration and heat stroke after a race? Just lots of hurt/comfort. No worries if it doesn’t inspire. Thank you for doing what you do 💕💕
The Toughest Race so Far - Nico Hulkenburg x Driver! Reader
Plot: After one of the toughest races of your life, you and Nico need to have serious conversation about your health.
A/N! 1) I'm hoping i got the right Nico and you didn't want Nico Rosberg! If you did, let me know and I'll right one for Nico Rosberg! 2) As someone with ADHD, i 100% get the hyperfixation and how much it grips you!
You were getting out the car, well trying to and your legs and arms refused to work. It was like they were actually glued to the seat. You just sat there, head ringing not really sure what to do and how to gp forward.
Some of the Stake Team come up to you, checking to see if you were actually alive in the cockpit or if you'd passed out. Your own team hadn't come and found you yet.
They start to try talk to you but nothings going in, and staying in so your communication is ineffective.
You feel void of anything and all the sounds around you are blurring into one. There's a numbness in your hands and legs that is burning but also non-existent, like numbness should be. It was confusing for your mind that had just gone through that uphill battle of a race.
It was like your body was failing on you and you could only sit back and watch it.
Eventually your team, of RedBull come over to you. Not that you could tell the difference between the Stake Suits and the Red Bull ones at this point, faces were just blobs right now and your mind couldn't comprehend colours.
They reach in to help lift you out so your stood up outside the car leant against the body. One of the mechanics has a hand resting on your arm keeping you steady while another reaches to take your helmet off and another goes for you balaclava that's covered in saliva.
However, the minute your legs are left to work for themself with out the support they starts to wobble. Your head starts to spin, and your vision blurs, the last thing you could remember being your body convulsing before you smacked the door where you continued shaking.
"Oh my god! Someone help her!" someone exclaimed as they saw you on the floor and seconds later a medical team that were already on their way heading towards you after being radioed by the team you weren't looking too great.
There were people flooding around you, one of them opened up your race suit that was drenched through.
"Babe?" a voice called as Nico jumped out his car spotting you thrashing on the floor. He himself wasn't feeling great from the heat either but you'd just managed to fight your way from P20 all the way up to P6 to get in the points.
It was probably the drive of your career having set the fastest lap, fastest pit stop and received driver of the day. Despite all the podiums, wins and poles you'd had, this was the drive.
He looked over you as they took you onto the stretcher as you were unresponsive.
"What's wrong with her is she okay?" he asks walking over closer to the medics that were surrounding you.
"We aren't sure but we need to get her to the medical tent right away, please go back to your team!" one of them says while they fit an oxygen mask around your mouth.
Nico spent his entire debrief not really concentrating on what anyone was saying, he wanted to be out of that room as soon as possible and to see how you were doing.
The minute that they concluded what happened in the race and how they can prepare better for hotter races as a team until the FIA but things into place, Nico was out the door as rushing past the Red Bull motorhome that was pretty quiet. They could all tell he was looking for you, and he just knew you were still with the medics from the look on everyone's face.
He rushed into the tent seeing you calmly sleeping but hooked up to a few different machines. The main one an drip, he knew you must be insanely dehydrated, and with your body temperature already struggling to regulate normally he couldn't imagine how much like hell that car felt to you.
"Is she okay?" he asks the nurse that was currently re-doing the braid in your hair that had gotten a little knotty under your helmet.
"Yes, she scared us all but she'll be fine. She's making a speedy recovery thanks to the doctors quickness and efficiency. She lost 6kg in that race which is very dangerous and she didn't drink anything at all during that race, so we've got her on some water and stuff that will pep her up. She had a minor injury to her shoulder where she fell but other than that she's okay. How long have you guys know she struggles to regulate her body temperature?" she explains and asks all in one.
"Since she karted, but she loves the sport to much" he chuckles. You'd talked about this with Nico a lot, you had to train your body harder and be stricter when it came to things like exercise and diets because of the condition.
Nico had said many times that it would be safter for you to stop racing all together but that had caused far to many arguments that he'd ended up on the sofa one to many times over.
He knew you loved racing, because he did as well and he hated when he had to leave the sport when no seat was available. So he knew it was something that wouldn't even be on the table for you to consider but he just wished you would.
For your guys' future, he just wanted you safe and at full health.
"She terrifies me when she gets into that car" he smiles looking down at your peaceful body.
"I can imagine, but ... I'm sure you scare her too. She struggles but I think honesty that makes her a better driver, she knows her limits and breaking points better than anyone. Today was a bade race that I cant see them doing at the same time of year ever again, and there may even be regulation changes that'll help. But ... take it from a career passionate woman. She wont give this up" she smiles to him and he glances down at you with his own smile.
"Oh I know she wont" he grins, taking your hand in his.
"Hey baby" he smiles as he sees your eyes flutter.
"Hey" you say back a little confused, looking around the room your in.
"You fainted and had a seizure" he explains grabbing your hand and rubbing his thumb over his knuckles.
"Oh, it was really hot in the car I don't think I ate before the race either because I felt sick!" you offer trying to explain why you were so badly effected.
"You weren't the only one that struggled, Alex, Esteban, Logan and a few others have been down here too. You pushed yourself a lot in that drive, but there's talks of the FIA making some changes for next year!" he explains.
"Mmm, I'm glad their taking action to make it safer for us!" you admit.
"I'm not even going to bother trying to convince you to retire!" he laughs shaking his head.
"We've talked about that before, you know I'm not ready yet. I've been given such a shot in Red Bull!" you smile, knowing he finally understood your view on your career.
"I know, I just worry about you!"
"I worry about you too" you say and pull him down into a kiss.

Chills Right to the Marrow Part 55
ao3 link| part 1 . . . part 52, part 53, part 54
Dustin wakes up with a cold sweat, panting. The early morning sun making its way through the window. Illuminating his room. He blinks away visions of broken glass on his floor, the body of his cat. The truth that his mother can never know, the secret he keeps from her.
He’s jealous of the people that have someone else in their house to talk to about this. Mike has Nancy, Lucas has Erica, Will and El have their entire house. Steve has Eddie, and Robin considering how much she stays over there. He has no one.
Something pounces on his bed, startling him. Tews coming up to bump her head into his arm, purring.
“Jesus,” he jumps. She continues to rub against his arm until he starts to scratch around her collar. “Be glad you’re cute.”
He gets out of bed, heading to the kitchen. Tews following beside him, probably wanting food. He pulls out the container from the pantry and fills her bowl, watching as she goes to eat it. A different scene flashes in his mind when he blinks. He wishes he could ignore it.
“Dustin,” Claudia’s voice comes from the doorway. “She didn’t wake you up, did she?”
“No, I was already up. Just needed some water,” he lies. He hates that he has to lie, but it’s better for her.
Claudia squeezes his shoulder, moving toward the cabinets to get him a glass. Filling it before filling up the coffee pot. He takes the glass, sitting down at the kitchen table. Knowing that he isn’t going to be able to go back to sleep.
“You ok, Dusty,” his mom asks. Coming over to place the back of her hand against his forehead. “You haven’t been acting the same.”
Dustin wishes he could tell her. Wishes that she could really know what’s going on. So maybe she could help. Have some sort of answer so he doesn’t have to find one. Some way to make him feel like he used to. But she has the blessing of not knowing, he needed her to keep it.
“I’m fine,” he lies. Mind racing to think of a quick excuse. “Just tired.”
She makes the face, the all knowing mother face. Her lips pinching in the way that shows she knows he’s lying, but cares enough to say it gently. She sits down across from him. “You’ve been through so much these past few years. With Will going missing, then the fire at the mall, now the earthquake. Seeing your friends get hurt. And knowing you, you wanted to do everything to fix it, and feel bad because you can’t figure out how.
“You might think you’re hiding it from me, but you’re not. I saw you go to that hospital day after day to check up on them. I see you when you come home and the smile drops. See the pain in your eyes. I’ve tried to be here for you in the ways that I can, but I’m not sure it’s enough.”
He didn’t know she knew. Stupidly, he thought he was hiding it. He thought he was putting up the right front to make sure she never knew.
“And I just,” she continues. “If you think you need to talk to someone, there are resources we can look into.”
If only it were that simple. If only he could go and talk to someone. But even then, he can’t share the full truth. He can’t share what really haunts him at night. All of it would still be laced with lies. The papers he signed kept the secrets in a closed group. Not allowing anyone to come in. He doesn’t know how he could sit with a therapist and talk about this while trying to make sure he wasn’t saying too much.
“I—” he starts. Not sure how to tell her that it can’t work like that. Not sure how to communicate how much it meant to see him, and extend a helping hand.
“Just think about it,” she cuts him off. “And know I’m here if you ever need to talk.”
He nods. “I will.”
She stands, walking over to him and cupping his face with her palm, before going about her normal morning routine. So innocent to the ways of this town.
But, what she said, he forgot that she was there too. That, when Will’s casket was lowered into the ground, it was her hand on his shoulder, giving support. It was her that was called to the hospital each time he got hurt. It was her he came home to, and faked being ok.
She knew, on some level, that he could never tell her what really happened. Maybe that’s not what matters. The past can’t change, or be shared, but the future can. The promise of brightness is still there, and he wants to bask in it. He wants to move forward, get better, grow.
He wants all of it, but can’t figure out how to untie the binds that wrap his feet.
For one of the last times, he guesses, he bikes his way to Steve’s house. The heat of August slowly rising with the sun. He hears the birds chirping as they fly around, sees the squirrels start to gather their nuts. A deer runs through the woods. The familiarity of early mornings comforting.
This town holds so many memories. Good, bad, downright ugly and frightening. But it was still his home. All of them sewn together to make a feeling that he can’t describe, but everyone has. No matter where he goes, or how much he grows, this town is still the reason he is who he is.
It is terrifying to think that he will always remember, that he will never forget. But maybe forgetting is more terrifying than remembering.
“You’re here early,” Wayne comments as Dustin bikes up the drive.
“I just—” He doesn’t know why he’s here, he realizes. Just got on his bike and went somewhere familiar. Somewhere he didn’t have to hide. “Wanted to come over, I guess.”
Wayne shrugs, unlocking the door. “Rough night?”
“Kinda, it’s hard to talk about.”
“Lot of things are. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.”
That was the whole problem. Dustin would talk about it, but there’s only so many people that he can. Those people were his friends, with their own issues. Why would Dustin ask to dump all of his stuff on top of theirs?
“Everyone keeps saying that. You, the guys, my mom.”
Wayne studies him for a moment, before nodding his head and leading him to the living room. “You know, there were a few buddies of mine that fought in ‘Nam. When they came back, something was different about them that no one else could understand. They just came back from a war they were forced to fight, not a lot of people can say that.”
Dustin sits on the couch, listening.
“They all had their own ways of coping. One of them drank, another was in and out of prison. But the one who’s still alive, he found a group of vets and talked about it. Found the people that understood and worked with them to live past what happened to him.”
“My mom thinks I should go to therapy,” Dustin says quietly. “But I can’t.”
Wayne nods. “I know. My buddy didn’t want to go to therapy either. Didn’t have the community that he wanted. That’s why he went to the group.”
An idea starts to form in Dustin’s mind.
“Point is,” Wayne continues, “is that I’ve spent the past few months surrounded by all of you. Seeing the way you act, and react. You’re so young and already seen so much. More than anyone would have ever asked you to see. I don’t want to see it kill you like it did to them.”
A support group. With scheduled meetings. People who understand. Not just bringing it up whenever you were going to break. Stopping it as the bend began.
Dustin would be willing to do it. It was just a matter of convincing everyone else.
“I got to go.” He stands up, abruptly, rushing toward the front door.
“Woah,” Eddie says as Dustin almost runs into him. “Where are you going?”
“Dustin,” Steve asks.
They were coming out of the hall where Eddie’s room was. Eddie was wearing Steve’s old basketball shirt. There wasn’t time for this.
“I’ll explain later,” Dustin rushes as he pushes on his shoes. “But I’m coming back to whatever is happening there,” he circles between Steve and Eddie with his hand. Watching as their faces flush as he runs out the door.
He mounts his bike and feels the familiar push on his pedals. Biking down the streets he knows by memory. Until he gets to Mirkwood and pedals through. Right up that rocky hill in the woods.
He thinks back to one of the first time he biked up this hill. How it forced the breath out of his lungs and cause him to stop. Take a few minutes to catch his breath before he could continue. Now, he can do it no problem. Keep traveling like that hill was the smallest in the world. He was stronger now, older.
He was different. So, so different from that kid he used to be. Different, but still sort of the same. He still loved science, he still loved his friends. Love the same movies. But there was so much that was different. He was taller, needed to get a whole new wardrobe of clothes. Had to get a new bike, outgrew the old one. His hair was longer, and he took better care of it now.
But when he smiled, when he laughed, it was all the same. And the outside, well, everyone changed as they grew up. He wanted so much to go back and do it all over, but can’t help but think that he’d still end up right here.
There were things that he’d never choose. Horrors that would be better off unseen. But Dustin was still Dustin if he let himself be.
He knocks furiously on the Byers’ door, a tired Will opening it.
“What are you doing here this early?” he asks
“I have an idea.”

Masterlist
You first saw him three years ago, shiny silver arm with a red star on the bicep shoulder length wavy hair - that you knew just had to be soft - you had watched as the team greeted him with smiles and his response? To look at them like they had just kicked his puppy. Walking at the side of Steve as you both showed him to his room, it was basic and dull not like the others your favourite belonging to Wanda, you was telling him all the things he could do with it - picking out a colour theme, that if he moved the desk over to the sid-
“I like it”
You looked at him like he had three heads on his shoulders. The room was bare and empty how could he have liked it?
As the days turned to weeks you stayed close to him, at first you told yourself it was just to help him settle in but the more times you spent with the man you grew a teeny tiny connection with him, even if he did ignore you all the time.
“So Bucky I was thinking maybe we could go to the gym and then get someth-hey where are you going? Rude.”
In a very non creepy way you liked to watch him sleep, his frown lines faded, the little twitches in his nose always made you smile, his soft snores filling your senses. Again it was done in a very non creepy way! But watching Bucky sleep brought you peace knowing he was oka-
“Bucky Bucky it’s just a nightmare it’s okay, shit, Steve! Goddamn Bucky please wake up! Steve Sam anyone!” You screamed in absolute panic the first time he had a nightmare.
“It’s okay Buck it’s just a bad dream”
“Yeah no shit Steve I’ve been shouting you for the last five minutes-hey don’t walk away from me when I’m talking to yo-you know Bucky I absolutely hate it when people shut doors on me when I’m talki-oh you’re asleep, oh okay night night I guess”
Over time the nightmares faded, he became more comfortable around everyone. Happier even.
The first time you saw him naked you couldn’t take your eyes off of him. You had walked into his bedroom - he was fresh out of the shower his hair dropping little droplets onto his broad soft back, he took his towel away from his hips in one swift motion causing your brain to fry up.
“I’m huh sor-Jesus Bucky you’re hu-shit I shouldn’t be seeing this, sor-I’m gonna go”
Leaving once again but not before taking one more cheeky look.
That went on for six months until one day you went to his room to check up on him noticing he wasn’t there you went to the gym, not there. Kitchen, not there. Briefing room, not there. You saw Tony walking past so you asked him but he didn’t tell you. You asked Sam, no reply. You asked Nat but she just carried on texting on her phone. So you went to find Steve but just like with Bucky you was coming up empty.
“He’s probably ventured outside finally” you told yourself as you waited for him in his room.
And you kept on waiting, and waiting and waiting.
It had been two and a half years since you last saw him. Nobody around you even talked about him despite you always asking them where he had gone or if he was okay.
It was like he was never there in the first place.
Steve ran past you as you was taking your daily stroll through the corridors, normally you would have followed him but since you had fell out with him you continued you stroll.
You did your first lap and were walking back towards the kitchen when you heard a familiar voice.
“-I’m okay, they got rid of my trigger words”
“I’m glad pal, you seem a lot happier. How was Wakanda?”
“It was good had my own little hut and had some goats” he chuckles, Steve joining in.
You did have to agree with Steve, Bucky looked happier. Healthier.
“Bucky” you whispered.
Bucky’s eyes flicked away from Steve to over to where you were standing.
The two of you stare at each other, you not daring to move and him just looking at you that was until Steve broke the spell between you two.
“Buck? You alright?”
“I-um yeah” his eyes go to Steve and then back to the woman who was standing there. His eyebrows burrow in confusion as she wasn’t there anymore. “Hey Steve is there another person now a part of the team?”
“No why?”
“So who was that woman then?”
“What woman?” Steve asks as he turns around to look what Bucky was staring at.
Bucky then describes you and waits for Steve to answer.
“Buck there’s no one here fitting that description…”
“Oh.”
“Are you alright pal?”
“Yeah, no I’m fine” He forces a smile.
For the first time in 15 years someone’s finally seen and heard you, going through all these years with no communication with anyone or having someone look at you and not through you had gotten easier as time went on. The first two years were extremely difficult and painful. You couldn’t understand why the construction crew was ignoring you and not listening to your pleading.
A year into the development of the huge building that was Stark Tower and now better known as Avengers Tower the building came to a halt when one of the workers screamed ‘we’ve found a body’, like everyone else you ran over to investigate. The burnt skeleton remains were taken away and two weeks later you heard the crew talking about the body-
“Apparently her name was Y/n L/n, died in the fire last year” Bobby the foreman said.
You laughed “that’s wrong because I’m right here guys” waving your hands around.
But nobody batted an eye or flinched when you jumped in front of them.
That’s when it dawned on you that you were dead.
You remember the day that you got your memories back from your death and it was all thanks to the bad guys who had attacked the tower.
The alarms were going off, bright red lights flashing, people were screaming and you was trying to calm them down. Helping Bruce and Nat lead people to safety, away from the destruction. The three of you and those that you was rescuing go down the stairs and Nat opened the door to the ground floor before she slammed it shut again.
“Nat we need to go” Bruce says with panic.
“We-we can’t go that way” she explains.
You knew why, you saw it as she opened the door.
The burning flames were pounding on the door that was stopping it from getting to any of you.
“Bruce we’ve got to go back up!”
Nobody batted an eye as you stumbled back and slid down the wall. Nobody batted an eye as you pulled on your hair muttering something that even you didn’t know under your breath.
They left you behind as you was transported back to 10 years prior.
*10 years before that*
You was sitting in your apartment, knees to your chest, trying to concentrate on what the couple on the screen was saying.
The raised voices coming from your fathers room we’re getting louder and louder as he argued with his girlfriend Lyra, her accusing him of cheating on her which made you laugh since you caught her having sex in the laundry room with the drug dealer that lived two floors up. Since she had no money for his supplies she had to pay in other ways.
Flinching when you heard the sound of skin hitting skin and closing your eyes tightly when you heard Lyra scream out. Your father always had a temper especially when he was drinking and since he had been laid off from the factory, drinking was all he did. A small vile part of you was happy that Lyra was around as it meant he no longer hit you, the abuse you suffered from the hands of your father started a week after your mother left him for another man, leaving you behind.
Lyra came running out of the bedroom with tears streaming down her cheeks as the welt was already forming, your father soon following holding two lit candles in his hands he threw the first one and the next.
The next thing you knew was that the apartment you had grown up in was in flames. You was rooted in fear at not only the fire but as Lyra screaming at you to leave despite her being attacked by your father.
The fire had spread quickly throughout the apartment complex, screams and chaos all around you. You kept going down the stairs until you found yourself in the basement, with no idea of why you was down there, you tried to turn back but the flames pushed you further and further into the normally cold room.
*back to the present*
It scared you that now after 15 years you’ve been a ghost for that someone can now finally see you, it made you smile that it was Bucky that could but the question of why? Why now played on your mind.
Not even the medium who Tony brought in after heard “ghostly noises” couldn’t see or hear you, the “ghostly noises” that Tony heard was just Natasha and Bruce having sex in his lab, you promised the pair you wouldn’t say anything so you didn’t.
So you did the most rational thing. Avoided him.
Which lasted for two weeks until Bucky came onto your territory.
Minding your own business your eyes squinting at the sound of the door opening, hearing Steve’s voice you didn’t think anything of it.
“I’m telling you Buck this is the best place to hide presents, no one ever comes down here” it was true, the last time someone came down here was two agents who was trying to have sex and you wasn’t going to have that. People coming into your home and trying to do the nasty, absolutely not! So you started messing with the pipes and banging objects, causing them to stop and the woman getting scared, she ended up running away leaving the man who started calling her nasty names. He became your enemy. Not like you could actually do anything to him but the statement still stood.
“If you say so punk”.
“I do say so.”
“Here grab these so I can get the rest”
With Steve leaving it was just you and Bucky in the basement now.
“Oh, hi I didn’t see you there” Bucky says.
“Yo-you can actually see me?”
“Yes…why aren’t I suppose to?”
“No”
“Why?”
“Because I’m a ghost”
Both of his eyebrows shoot up and he starts laughing “of course you are”
“No I actually am.”
“Yeah yeah, is this a prank that the spider kid has put you up to?”
“His name is Peter and no it’s not a pra-“
“Hey Buck who are you talking to?” Steve asks as he comes back in with more gift bags.
“Her” Bucky points over to where you stand.
“Bucky there’s no one there…”
“See I told you!” You say with your arms crossed.
“B-but”
“Look he can’t see me, even if I do this” You moved away from the wall and jumped in front of Steve who of course looks straight through you. “You’re the only one for some reason”.
Bucky pales, “but how?”
“Buck?”
“I-I need to go”
Both you and Steve watch him run up the steps and away from you.
“You know Steve, I didn’t expect him to have that kind of reac-oh yeah no its fine to leave it wasn’t like I was finished talking.”
For three weeks you kept you kept yourself isolated in the basement not knowing what it meant now that someone could see and hear you even if it was just Bucky.
Over the past 12 or 13 years you kept yourself to a routine but since Bucky had ruined that for you, you kept yourself occupied - okay you was going slightly insane.
Not realising that the door had come open you was completely unaware that Bucky was standing there watching you-
“Okay so the first order of business is that we need to take out the bad men who call themselves “The trash” in order to succeed we need strong men and women who will lay down their lif-“
You’re cut off by a laugh; you turn and see Bucky who winces at your screams.
“Sorry, sorry I didn’t mean to scare you”
“W-what are you doing here?”
“Were you talking to the mops and buckets?” He asks ignoring your question.
“That’s completely unrelated. What are you doing here?”
“You was weren’t you, hey don’t stop on my account you’ve got to finish your speech or they’ll leave”
“Yo-you’re making fun of me. Stop it” you mumble
“No I’m not, I’m just saying carry on with talking to the mops-oh is that a broom?”
“L-leave now please”
“Aw come on I’m only joking”
“I don’t find it funny, now leave”
He watches as you turn your back to him as you bring your hand up to your face, suddenly feeling guilty.
“Hey doll I’m sorry, I-I was trying to joke with you but it wasn’t funny I’m sorry”
“Whatever just leave”
Bucky listens and complies but as he reaches the top step he turns round and walks back down to you.
“D-doll I really am sorry. I just wanted to talk to you, I’ve been looking around for you and I figured I’d find you here”
“Y-you’ve been looking for me? Why?”
“Well I wanted to ask you some questions” he rubs the back of his neck with his left hand.
“Your arm…”
“Huh? Oh yeah it was a gift from Shuri, do you like it?”
“It’s very pretty” you say with a slight blush.
“Thank you” he too blushes.
“You said you had some questions?”
“Yeah, is it okay if I sit?” Pointing to an old couch that Tony had brought down many years ago.
“Of course”
Watching him sit on the dusty old thing brought a slight smile to your face.
“Are you going to sit?”
“Yep” taking the seat on the end and on the edge.
“So, you’re a ghost?”
“Yep”
“So, you’re dead?”
“Yep”
“When?”
“How?”
“Fire”
“Where?”
“Here”
“What?”
“My apartment complex was here before the tower was”
“Oh”
“Yep”
A semi uncomfortable silence fell between you two. He shifted and rubbed his hands on his thighs whilst you twiddled your thumbs.
Bucky broke the silence “how long have you been around us all?”
“Since more and more people came to the tower”
“Oh.”
“Yep”
Silence fell once again but this time lasted a good 20 minutes. 20 slow and painful minutes.
“H-how come you’re not in like heaven or hell?”
“I’m not sure.”
“Isn’t there any other ghosts you could ask?”
“There’s been a few over the years but none of them ever had any answers for me”
“May-maybe you need to do something or have something done to move you on?” Bucky shrugs.
“Like what?”
“I’m not sure. How did the fire start do you know?”
“My father” when he gave you a questioning yet shocked look you explained everything that you remembered that day.
“I’m so sorry ghosty”
“Ghosty?” You burst out laughing.
“Yeah well I don’t know your name so…ghosty”
“Y/n”
Watching as his lips form your name sent imaginary chills down your spine.
“Y/n, I like it, did your dad go prison?”
“No why?”
“Maybe that’s why you’re still stuck here. I can help y-“
“But I don’t want to move on.” Cutting him off.
“Why?”
“Because then that means I’ll be dead”
“But doll, you are”
Standing up so you can pace around the small area “I know that but if I move on it will mean I’m dead dead you know?”
“But why? You’ve spent that past 15 years with no one seeing or hearing you. You really want to do another 15?”
“And another 15 after that if it means I get to be around people and I don’t have to be alone, I don’t want to be just gone and Bucky I’m not hurting anyone I swear!” You shouted at him, your last words more quieter, more like a whimper.
Finally admitting it to someone else hurt, admitting that you would rather keep being ignored and never seen by anyone ever again was better than being alone and dead. And yes whilst you was technically alone it wasn’t the same, you got to be around people, listened to their jokes or stories, listened to their complaints or worries. You was happy to continue to be a shoulder for them to cry on even if they didn’t know you was there or couldn’t hear you words of encouragement and advice.
And it was true what you had said to him, you wasn’t hurting anyone. You couldn’t even imagine of causing another person any form of pain, even when you was alive.
“Dol-no Y/n come back!”
Bucky was angry with himself. The first time he got to speak to her properly, he ruined it. The pain in her voice when she told him she didn’t want to be alone tugged on his heart.
He went to the basement at least eight times a day to apologise but she was never there. He knew that if anyone was walking down the corridor leading to the basement they’d be able to hear him talking to himself.
He walked with purpose down the corridor to Sam’s room, knocking on the door he grew impatient at how long it was taking Sam to answer, it had only been 5 seconds.
“What’s up Buck?”
“One I told you not to call me that. Two I need the computer thing”
“It’s called a laptop Buck”
“Don’t call me that. And can I have it”
“Sure you can Buck let me go and grab it for you Buck”
“I’m going to kill you in a minute”
“Of course you are Buck, here” Sam laughs giving him the laptop before shutting the door in his face.
Going back into his bedroom he goes on the internet just like Peter had showed him, he first typed in ‘Stark Tower fire’ coming up with all different things. Then he typed in ‘before Stark Tower fire’ which had only confused him more. Trying one more time he typed ‘Stark Tower apartment fire’ bingo!
Clicking on the first link showed him the apartment before the fire, during and after. He learned that the complex housed lower income families, that the fire was deemed as an accident due to faulty electrical systems.
Scrolling down further he stopped. The photo of you that he assumed was from school was there, the girl in the photo smiling back to him and next to it read ‘Y/n L/n died in apartment fire one week away from her 21st birthday. Her body has yet to be found’ and just a little bit further down was another link that read ‘Y/n L/n was found 1 year after the tragedy of the fire’ clicking on it he read more, how the construction crew had found her and how scientists confirmed that it was the body of Y/n’s. A photo was underneath the headline that showed the crew, Bucky had to do a double take when he saw you. Sitting on the floor looking out of frame with what Bucky thought was tears on your face.
Taking the laptop with him he ran to Steve’s room, rapidly knocking until the blonde answered.
“Buck? What’s wrong?” Steve says whilst rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
Walking straight past his friend he goes to sit on the bed “come here and look”
Listening Steve sits next to him “when was this?”
“14 years ago but look, there’s that girl I described to you” pointing and looking up at Steve who scrunched up his eyebrows.
“Buck I can’t see anything…”
“Pretty girl on the ground looks like she’s crying”
“Bucky are you alright? You’ve not been the same since you came back from Wakanda. I can ask King T’Challa if you can go ba-“
“Steve listen okay this girl she’s dead. She died 15 years ago and I can see her, I’m the only one that can and I don’t know why bu-but I never saw her before until I came back-“
“Buck slow dow-“
“-but I ruined it between us and now I can’t see her anywhere I keep looking I do Stevie but she won’t appear no matter how much I beg her too an-and I think she hates me”
“Bucky please slow down! Tell me everything but slowly”
So he does.
Steve sits there dumbfounded by what his best friend is telling him, and the craziest part of it was is that he believes every word coming out of his mouth.
“Okay, let’s try and think of a plan together”
And they do.
The next day Bucky makes his way back to the basement when he hears your voice softly seeping underneath the door his heart skips.
“-I’m not sure” silence “maybe I should let him help me so I can move on” more silence “I’m just scared though”
“Y/n?”
“Bucky?”
“Hi um who are you talking to?”
“Just myself, so I came to a conclusion that I want you to help me move on. I’m ready and it’s time”
Bucky notices that there’s a slight hesitation in your words and he spots the way you gulp at the end of your sentence. “Well I have a better idea, I did a lot of research last night and I found out that you don’t have a headstone so I tho-“
“I don’t have a headstone?” You whisper.
It’s now his turn to gulp “No doll, it’s an unmarked grave but I know exactly where it is, where you are” He rephrases.
“Why? Why don’t I have one?”
Oh he hates it. He hates how small you sound; he doesn’t like how you’re twisting your fingers together. “I-I’m not sure doll” That was a lie.
Neither of your parents wanted to spend money on a funeral or a proper burial for you, so it was up to the county to do it.
“Is-is that why am not dead-dead?”
“I’m not sure, it might be… but listen I’m going to get you a headstone - a real nice one, and if-if you want you’ll always be able to go there and Y/n please don’t think I want you to leave because I don’t okay, I really don’t I just want you to find peace”
“I-you don’t have to do that Bucky, it’s a lot of money and I’m not worth a single penny”
Now his heart cracks. “Don’t say that, you’re worth it don’t worry” he smiles which doesn’t reach his eyes.
“It’s okay honestly I think there’s more of an easier, less expensive way to get rid of me. All we have to do is think”
“Y/n-“
“Come on we need to think”
“Doll there’s no need to think about anything, I’ve already gone through with my plan.”
“What?”
“The headstones being made as we speak and Steve’s getting everyone on board.”
The way your eyes bulge out would have made him laugh but he wills himself not to.
“Wh-what’s going on?”
“Sit and I’ll tell you” he smiles as both of you sit on the couch.
On the other side of the compound the rest of the team sit with amusement written over their faces as Steve tell them about Bucky and his ghost friend.
“You two have lost the plot” Sam laughs.
“Would you two be able to be put into an old people’s home?” Nat wonders out loud.
“Probably as they’re both over 100” Tony retorts to Nat.
“Guys I’m being serious” Steve says with his hands on his hips.
“Wait when did you say the fire was?” Tony asks him.
“I remember that, there was only one person that died - many were injured weren’t there?”
“Yeah. Y/n was the unfortunate one”
“And she’s been here ever since?”
“Yes”
“So she knows us?”
“Yes. Look let me ring Bucky and get him to bring her up here and we’ll ask questions that no one else would know apart from her and see if she was around at that time”
The team nods so that’s exactly what he does.
“Doll we’re needed upstairs, the team don’t exactly believe me or Steve so they’re going to ask questions and see if you was there or not, is that okay with you?”
“Okay”
The both of you head upstairs and for some reason you’re nervous, something that you’ve never been when around any of them.
“So Barnes, Rogers here tells us that you can see ghosts?” Tony starts.
“Ghost. Just one” he answers. “Okay ask your questions”
“Where exactly are we looking?” Sam now asks.
Bucky gestures to where you stand and obviously all they see is nothing.
“Okay, I’ll play along. Little ghost was you there when I created my iron man suit?”
“She said no”
“Was it you who made ghostly noises?”
Bucky struggles not to laugh “she said no”
“Wait why are you laughing?”
“Because she told me who it was and umm Tony they weren’t ghostly noises”
“What were they then?”
“Sounds of pleasure” Bucky says as he winks at Bruce.
The team start laughing at Bruce’s bright red cheeks and when they notice Nat sinking further into her chair their laughs becomes louder.
“Okay okay I want to ask the ghost something next” Sam laughs.
“Her name is Y/n”
“Okay Y/n what’s my nightly routine?”
“I’m not saying that!” - “No Y/n” - “please don’t make me say it!” - “godsake fine! Sam your nightly routine is you have a shower, brush your teeth, you do 50 push ups whilst na-naked and then -I think I’m going to be sick- you wank off before going to sleep”
“Ah yes! I believe them, Hi Y/n”
“She says hi”
The questions continued for well over an hour, the team finally believing that she was-
“Holy fucking shit!” Tony shouts.
“What? Oh”
“Fuck”
Bucky looked at Y/n who was staring at him with a confused expression which he just shrugs his shoulders. “What’s going on?”
“I’m not sure, guys what’s up?”
“W-we can fucking see her!” Sam shouts.
“What?”
“We can see her Barnes!”
It was true. They could all see you.
“H-how?” You stumble out, after all these years of being invisible and being unheard from everyone around you and all its took is for everyone to believe that you actually exist.
“I-we don’t know. This is crazy even for me” Tony says.
“You can hear me?”
“Yes sweetheart”
Months went by, you was now able to leave the compound by visiting the cemetery. You was there alongside the Avengers when your headstone was placed, each member placed a rose on the grave all giving you a small smile.
It took you some time to get use to being seen and heard, no more conversations with yourself as someone was always around to answer.
Yours and Bucky’s friendship grew, it would be a lie if you said you didn’t have a crush on him. And unknown to you he had a crush on you too. It hurt both of you because you knew it wouldn’t be able to work for the two of you with the main reason being that you were dead.
It was the anniversary of your death Bucky and Steve were on a mission which Bucky wasn’t happy about. You was walking down the corridor when Wanda ran out of her room shouting your name.
“Jesus Christ Wanda don’t do that again!” You scolded, still not use to the whole they could see you now thing.
“Sorry” she chuckled.
“It’s fine what’s wrong?”
“Nothings wrong, its just-its better if I show you”
Frowning you followed her back to her room. “Wanda what’s going on?”
“So I’ve been working on something, for you-“
“For me?”
“Yes and I think I’ve managed to figure out a way to bring you back to life”
Blinking once, twice, you burst out laughing.
“Wanda that’s impossible”
“Not really…just come over here and let’s see if it works and if it doesn’t I’ll try again okay”
Doing as she says you stand in the middle of her room eyebrows raising as her fingers start to glow.
Nothing happens.
“H-how do you feel?” She asks hopefully.
“The same way I’ve felt for the past 15 years Wand, dead.”
Sighing in defeat “I’m so sorry Y/n I’ll keep try-“. Her words are cut off by a deep growl.
“W-what was that?” You stutter out.
“FRIDAY how many heartbeats are in my room?”
“Two Miss Maximoff”
“Who’s?”
“Yours and Miss Y/n’s”
“Catch” Wanda says as a book comes flying at you.
Wanda and you stand there facing each other with wide eyes. You caught the book.
“Oh my god. Wan-Wanda it worked”
After both screaming and crying your taken down to Bruce’s lab where your examined and blood, yes blood, was drawn.
Nobody could believe it and neither could you either but somehow Wanda brought you back to the land of the living.
Everyone promised not to say anything to Bucky as you wanted to surprise him.
A week later on your birthday Bucky and Steve came back from a successful mission. In that week Nat and Sam had to go and do three food shops as you kept eating everything. What can I say you’d been dead for 15 years.
You and the team was waiting on the hanger for them to exit the quinjet. Steve was out first shortly followed by a very tired Bucky but as soon as his eyes found yours he smiled hugely.
“Hey Y/n I’ve miss-“
You cut him off by throwing your arms around his neck. Bucky stiffened at first not believing it was really happening then he wrapped his arms around your waist pulling your further in.
“H-how?”
“Wanda”
“Oh”
After Tony coughed making the pair of you pull apart you - mainly Wanda - explained everything to the two super soldiers. Bucky refusing to let go of you completely. Steve smiled and gave you a small hug.
Much later that night you and Bucky was sitting on his bed with his arm around you when he abruptly stood up.
“Where are you going?”
“There’s ten minutes left of your birthday so we’re going to dance”
You watched with an amused smile as he turned the stereo on.
“I got Peter to do this when we was watching the telly earlier” he smiled.
Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers started playing through the speakers.
“Y-you remembered?”
“Of course I did doll, it’s your favourite song how would I forget”
Slow dancing in the middle of Bucky’s room with your favourite song playing in the background on your birthday made this the best birthday you ever had.
“I need your love, I need your love, God speed your love to me”
Bucky sings just as his lips touch yours.

Spring Break
College!Natasha Romanoff x Female Reader
When Yelena invites you on a trip, your relationship with Natasha becomes harder to hide from her
Warnings: Smut! 18+ please! Lots of teasing, cursing, oral, also some soft moments
Note: I’m back with more college Nat! Check out Sweetheart for some backstory here. Follow my library blog for fic updates! Enjoy!
Natasha Romanoff Masterlist 1, Natasha Romanoff Masterlist 2, Main Masterlist
“Natasha,” you say breathlessly as the woman pulls at your hips to bring your center closer to her face. She hums against you as you continue to get close.
But then you’re interrupted.
“I’m home!” Yelena’s voice rings out from the living room.
"Fuck, she wasn’t supposed to be home yet,” you say while frantically trying to get off Natasha.
“No, not so fast,” Natasha says. She pulls your hips back down. “Just stay quiet. You’re going to come for me, sweetheart.”
“Nat, she could come in and-“ you’re cut off by Natasha’s tongue on you again. She works quickly and you bite your lip as you come for her.
“Good girl,” Natasha says quietly as she lets go of your waist.
You hear footsteps approaching your room and Natasha sits up to kiss you before she grabs her clothes and sneaks into your closet. You slip your clothes on quickly.
She shuts the door right as her sister enters your room.
“Hey y/n,” Yelena greets you. She walks right in and sits at your desk.
“Hey, what’s up?” You try act casual.
“So, I’m booking a trip for spring break,” she begins. “And I want you to come with us.”
“Us meaning you and Kate?” You ask even though you know the answer. She nods. “I don’t know Yelena. Third wheeling isn’t so fun.”
“So you’re going to just sit here all week? Come on, please! It’ll be so fun,” Yelena begs you. She gives you her best puppy dog eyes and pout.
“Fine,” you agree. “How much do I owe you?”
“Nothing at all. Kate’s mom is rich, so it’s basically free except for food and drinks.”
You give her a stunned look and she only shrugs.
“We leave Friday!” She says as she walks out of your room.
You shut the door and Natasha comes out of your closet.
“So I guess you heard I’ll be gone next week,” you say with a sigh.
“Why aren’t you excited?” She asks, sitting on your bed next to you.
“I just kind of hate third wheeling with them. And she doesn’t know about us so it’s like I can’t really say no,” you explain.
“I see,” Natasha says. She wraps an arm around your shoulder and you lean into her. You’ve found that you love the soft moments with her just as much as the sex with her.
“I’ll miss you,” you say. And it’s true. You’ve gotten used to sneaking around and seeing Nat almost everyday since that party where you hooked up.
“I’ll miss you too, baby. It’ll be okay,” she assures you. “I’ve got class in the morning, so I should probably get going. Is that alright?”
“Of course, yeah. I’ll talk to you later?”
“Absolutely.”
Natasha kisses you once more before you check to make sure the coast is clear and then she leaves your room and apartment.
The days leading up to the trip go by quickly and before you know it you’re packed and in the car to the airport.
“We are just making one more stop and then to the airport,” Kate tells the driver.
You have no idea what that stop could be, but when you arrive at a familiar apartment your heart beats faster.
Your gut feeling is confirmed when the redhead slips into the seat next to you.
“Hey,” Natasha says simply, a smirk that only you understand is on her face.
Yelena moves out of her seat and hugs her sister. “I’m so glad you could come!”
“Me too,” Nat says. “It’ll be nice to catch up and relax.”
The ride to the airport feels long and intense with the way Natasha’s thigh brushes against yours. When you get into the plane, you can’t all four sit together so you split up into twos. Obviously, you and Natasha end up together.
“How are you here?” You ask her. The loudness of the plane and being a few rows away from Yelena and Kate allows for you to talk like this.
“Yelena asked me,” Nat says.
“Why? Do you think she knows?”
“I don’t, no. I think she just wanted me to go. I don’t know.”
You accept that answer is the best you’re going to get.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. It’ll be fun,” Natasha says, slipping her hand into yours. “Think about the fact that I packed my best red bikini.”
Your eyes go wide and Nat chuckles. She likes how easily she can get you flustered.
She holds your hand for the entirety of the flight.
By the time you get to the resort, everyone turns in for an early night. Kate and Yelena go to one room while you and Nat take the other.
“See I told you this would be fun,” Nat says as she slips into bed next to you.
“I guess. But I’m still worried she’s going to find out.”
“Let me ease some of those worries,” she says. Her hand brushes your over the skin of your arm.
“Nat, we can’t do that here,” you say.
“Why?”
“We just- we need to keep it chill this week.”
“Alright,” she agrees. “Chill.”
Something about the tone of her voice and the way she kisses your cheek before she turns over to go to sleep tells you that she won’t be making this week easy.
On the beach the next day, your worries are confirmed as Nat strolls past you in a red bikini. Thank goodness you have sunglasses on or Yelena and Kate would see your eyes unashamedly all over Natasha’s body.
“Did everyone put on sunscreen?” Her voice breaks you from your stare.
“Yes mom,” Yelena answers her sister, rolling her eyes in the process. She goes back to her conversation with Kate.
“Y/n?” Nat asks.
“Um, no I didn’t. But I’ll be fine,” you say.
“You’ll get burnt, sweetheart. Let me put some on you,” she says with a smirk on her face.
She doesn’t give you a chance to argue before she’s in front of you with a bottle in her hands.
“We’re going to the water,” Kate announces before her and Yelena walk off hand in hand.
Natasha gestures for you to stand up. You do so and she slips into your chair. She pats the space in between her legs.
“Come on, it’s just sunscreen,” she teases you. You sit on the chair between her legs, trying to ignore the way her her hands are immediately on your hips.
She puts the lotion in her hands and begins applying it to your back. Nat takes her time as she does so. Her hands drift down further and over to your thighs. Deft fingers run over your inner thighs.
“Natasha,” you practically moan.
“You like that, baby?” She asks. Her mouth is next to your ear. You nod and she pulls her hands away. You let out a small whimper. “Don’t do that, sweetheart. You said we were keeping it chill this week.”
Her lips ghost over the back of your neck as she taps your hips for you to stand up. She puts the bottle away and walks towards the waves, leaving you there speechless.
And that’s what she does for the entirety of the next few days. Never missing an opportunity to tease you, she keeps you flustered.
On the final full day, you’re laying out in the sun when Natasha comes up to you. She’s been in the water and her skin glistens with water droplets. She takes her hair down and shakes it out. The water hits your body.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to get you wet,” Natasha says. Her words and the look on her face is enough to make you wet, and not from the ocean water.
You stand up and excuse yourself back to the resort. Trying to cool down, you get a water from the fridge. When you close the door, Natasha is standing on the other side of it.
“Fuck! You scared me,” you say.
“Sorry,” she chuckles. She hops on the counter. “You’re not playing it very chill by the way.”
“Me? Says the one who is teasing me!”
Natasha laughs and reaches her hands out for you. You look towards the door and back to Nat. You really do miss being in her arms.
Taking her hands, you step between her legs.
“What’s the harm in not keeping it chill just once?” Nat asks. “Besides I did actually make you wet, didn’t I?”
“Yes.”
“Yes what?” She asks, her fingers hover over the waistband of your bathing suit.
“Yes daddy.”
“There we go, baby.”
Natasha slips her fingers into your suit bottoms and runs them over your slick folds. She smirks at how wet you really are. Slipping then down your legs, she gets off the counter and is on her knees in front of you.
“Oh fuck,” you say as her mouth gets work quickly. You reach for the counter in front of you so you don’t lose your footing. She makes you weak in the knees.
“Be good for me, baby,” she says with a sternness to her voice. Her hands grip the back of your thighs tightly.
You’re so into it that you don’t notice the door opening. But you do hear it close. So does Natasha. She stops eating you out and stands up abruptly.
“Was it Yelena?” She asks.
“I don’t know,” you say. “Oh god, I don’t know.”
You start to pace the kitchen in a panic. Nat hands you your suit bottoms before she goes to the door to see if she can tell who it was. She has no luck.
“Okay relax, baby. If it was Yelena, she would’ve said something. Maybe it was housekeeping or something?” Natasha tries to ease your worries.
“Or it was Kate who will immediately tell Yelena,” you say.
“Let’s just not worry about it, okay? We’ll get cleaned up and get ready for dinner.”
“Okay.”
“Hey, I’ve got you,” she says, taking your face in her hands. She kisses your forehead gently.
It’s not long before Yelena and Kate are back and getting ready for dinner as well. The four of you walk to the restaurant and everything appears to be going smoothly.
Until during dinner when Yelena turns to Kate and asks, “Are you okay? You’ve been quiet all night.”
“Oh yeah, I’m good. It’s just- never mind,” Kate replies. Her eyes bounce between you and Nat. Your pace quickens.
“What is it, babe?” Yelena pushes.
“I saw something,” Kate blurts out. Yelena raises a brow, prompting her to continue. “It was Natasha and y/n they were-“
“We’re dating,” Natasha interrupts Kate. “We have been dating for about a month.”
“Oh,” is Yelena’s only response.
You jump in. “We were going to tell you.”
“Excuse me,” Yelena leaves the table.
Your eyes tear up as you worry about how she reacted and if she will still be your best friend.
“It’s okay, sweetheart,” Nat says. “Stay with Kate. I’m going to go talk to her.” She rubs her hand on your back before she leaves the table.
“I’m sorry,” Kate says. “I just felt like I had to tell her.”
“It’s alright,” you say.
Meanwhile, Natasha finds Yelena back up in the room.
“Why?” Yelena speaks first. “Why my best friend?”
“Because she’s everything to me,” Natasha replies. “When I’m with her, I just feel at home.”
Yelena sees the truth in Natasha’s eyes. She’s never seen her like this before.
“You’re not just hooking up with her?”
“No,” Nat says. “It started the first time that way, but really it was more than that by the time we finished. Yelena, I promise, I’m not going to hurt her.”
Yelena crosses the room and takes her sister into her arms. For so long, they’ve only had each other. And now they both have you.
“Can we go back to dinner?” Natasha asks, holding her little sister tight.
“Yeah,” Yelena says. “Just promise me that nothing with us will change because of this.”
“I promise, sestra,” Natasha says.
The two walk back to the restaurant and Yelena walks ahead to get to you first. She hugs you from behind.
“Don’t hurt my sister,” she says.
“I won’t, I promise.”
“I know,” she says. “Also, don’t tell me anything about your sex life. Got it?”
You laugh at that. “Got it, Yel. I love you.”
“Love you too,” Yelena says. She goes back to her side of the table and Nat sits next to you again.
“We’re okay?” You ask her.
“We’re okay, sweetheart.”
Natasha reaches for your hand underneath the table. With the feeling of her hand in yours, love radiates between the two of you.
And everything feels right.

Shanks Touch
Prompt: Shanks visits your village after being away for a long time and in classic Shanks fashion a party ensues.

Shanks X Male Reader
It had been a long while since Shanks appeared on the shores of your island. Many moons coming and going before you got word of the warlord checking in on one of his many territories. Your heart skipped a bit as you watched the horizon for any sign of his ship. The island always seemed to be more chipper when he was around, a never-ending party as Shanks would gleefully find any excuse to continue drinking.
It took 3 mornings, but finally you could see it. The Red Hair Jolly Roger waving in the wind, it’d only be an hour or so until his ship would be docked, and everyone about seemed to be prepping for their arrival. Every tavern fully stocked, and more shipments expected to arrive soon, fully expecting to be drank out of house and home.
The towns people’s happy faces talking of Shanks greatest feats as the town square looked like it was preparing for a festival. You, yourself were helping set up lodging, knowing the pirate crew would be passing out on land after being on the sea for so long. The towns mayor more than happy to gather tribute money for the protection the Red Hairs Flag offers us.
Finally, you hear the bell ring through the town, the ship docking as his crew unloads the boat of treasures and booze. You run towards the dock, staying to the back of the crowd as you glance through faces to find the familiar red hair, his tall-tale laugh reaching your ears as you see him a couple dozen paces away.
Your feet freezing in place when you see him smiling while talking to other townsfolk, a tug on your heart before you force yourself forward, determined to make yourself known. Before you can even get near him you hear him call your name, his attention turning towards you as he walks up to you. He bends down, easily picking you despite the one arm and twisting you around. “Shanks!” You say with a smile plastered on your face.
“How I’ve missed you!” Shanks laughs out while putting you down, “This calls for a celebration!” His hand raising in triumph as you could see Benn sighing heavily behind him. The next few moments seem to move too quickly as you’re swept with the crowd, Shanks keeping a hold of your shoulder as he walks towards his favorite tavern.
It isn’t lost on you how his hand ghosts your back before resting itself on your ass. A subtle squeeze as he leans closer to you. “I’m assuming by Benn’s reaction that you were already ‘celebrating’ on deck?” You laugh out, twisting your neck to look at him as you grab his hand, moving it to your hip.
“He’s just a Sourpuss that I drank an entire keg” His booming laughter filled your ears as the entire town was swept into a rhythm of his making. Shanks leads you to the back of the tavern, sitting in an corner with a large round table, his men filling in the rest of the seats as tankards full of Rum and Vodka were placed in front of them.
He pulls you onto his laugh, his arm wrapping possessively around your waist as he pulls you flush against him, his head leaning over your shoulder as you grab his cards for him, holding them only for him to see while he sips his drink. Cheering and laughing ringing through the building while you help him play poker, his hand laying on your hip as he grinds into you.
It isn’t until a couple of drinks in that you feel him sink his hand into your pants, a blush rushing to your face as you glance to see if anyone notices, his fingers delicately brushing against the skin of your dick, a twitch into his hands as you suck in a breath. “I’m glad to see I’m not the only one happy to see you~” Shanks whispers into your ear, grinding his own hardon into you as you hide your face behind the cards in your hand.
His thumb running over your delicate tip as you attempt to keep playing while distracted, moving one of your legs so he has easier access to do as he pleases. Shanks lips pressing against your jawline and neck as you press yourself into him.
You can feel Shanks grin into your skin as he tightens his hold around you, a playful tug making you yearn for more, “Kid it’s your turn.” You slap a random card down, not caring about the game anymore as your head leans back onto Shanks’ shoulder, your free hand wrapping around to rake your fingers through his hair, a low groan escaping your lips.
“Is there something you need darling?” His hushes whisper pressed against your neck as he leaves a bruising mark in his wake. Slow, deliberate strokes driving you insane as you try to thrust into his touch, “Remember you have to play properly,” His slight taunt making your ears ring as you open your eyes, glancing at the table. Most seem unfazed, others glancing but returning to their cards as the rest of the Tavern continues to party on.
Huffing as you feel him teasing you, changing pressures as he continues to pump his hand, Shanks enjoying watching you unravel. Straightening your back as you scootch a little bit off his lap, your hand dipping behind you to palm the outside of his pants just as he quickens his pace.
“Getting daring, aren’t we?” Shanks whispers, nipping at your earlobe as he ruts up into your palm, his grip becoming tight, a finger dancing over the slit of your sensitive tip as you choke on your breath.
He pulls you back against him fully, jerking you faster as you lean against the table, your face in your arms as your hand barely holds onto the cards in your hand, your legs dangling on either side of him. Biting your lip to hold back your labored breathing as your release quickly approaches.
Grinding your hips into his touch as you feel the pressure building, Shanks hand quickly glides down your shaft, a tight hold around the base of your leaking cock. A desperate moan escaping your lips as your eyes widen, the building of pressure feeling like too much. Your hands pushing you off the table as you push yourself against Shanks even further in a desperate attempt to get his hold on your cock to loosen, to let you feel the sweet release you’ve been craving.
“Now, now.” His laughing tone hits your frustrated ears, “That’s for later. Can’t have you becoming spent too early.” You feel the pressure slowly ebb away, the tight grip around your cock loosening as you slam your head against the table in disbelief.

The sounds of the bustling city filled Jieun’s ears as she and Wooyoung walked through the crowded street. Without a known destination, all she could do was follow the boy as he led her through the sea of people. The day had only a couple hours left, a dark sky lit up by the bright city lights, but it was clear that the night had only just begun.
“Where are we even going?” Jieun asked, raising her voice over the crowd.
Wooyoung glanced over his shoulder and gave the girl a grin. “It’s a surprise.”
She frowned, narrowing her eyes at him, though didn’t argue as she continued to follow behind him.
After walking for a few more minutes, Wooyoung suddenly stopped in front of a building. He pulled out his phone, quickly checking something before motioning for her to follow him as he walked inside.
Jieun took in her surroundings as they walked into the building, multiple bowling lanes stretched out on one side while restaurants and a bar lined the other.
“Since I had to surgically remove you from my laptop, I thought it would be fun to play a different game instead.” She looked over at him, raising her eyebrows, though Wooyoung just chuckled. “C’mon, our reservation is in a couple minutes.”
As they walked further, Jieun caught sight of the live band playing on a small raised stage in the corner of the room. A smile made its way onto her face as they walked up to the front desk.
“Do you want me to-”
“Hi, I have a reservation for 8:30 for Jung,” Wooyoung told the worker. Jieun’s eyebrows raised, though she remained quiet and watched as he continued talking to the worker, giving them his card for payment and eventually the size shoes they’d need to rent. When the worker went to the back to grab their shoes, Jieun spoke up.
“I see you’ve been studying,” she said, nodding slightly.
Wooyoung simply shrugged, not turning to look back at her. “It’s nothing.” He smiled at the returning worker, bowing his head as they handed him the shoes. “Thank you.”
He turned around and with a small smile, handed Jieun her shoes. She took them from him and glanced inside the sole, eyebrows raising at the fact that he’d gotten her size right. She didn’t remember ever telling him.
They walked away from the front desk, Wooyoung taking the lead once more as they made their way to the lane.
“Have you ever gone bowling before?” he asked her once they got to their lane.
Jieun nodded. “A couple times. My brother and his girlfriend used to take me sometimes with Sunwoo.”
Wooyoung covered his mouth as he let out a small cough. “You must be good then.”
“I’m alright,” she shrugged. “And you?”
“I’ve gone bowling with my family a couple times,” he said. “Us older siblings usually let the youngest win though.”
“Yeah, that’s nice-” Jieun stopped, head slowly raising as she squinted at the boy. “Wait. What are you implying?”
“I don’t know.” He shrugged as he stood up and walked over to the ball rack, Jieun following close behind.
“Jung Wooyoung, are you saying that everyone let me win because I’m the youngest?”
Wooyoung coughed once more in an attempt to hide the cheeky grin threatening to spread across his face, though he failed. He turned his head away.
“There’s no harm in admitting it,” he eventually answered. “Your brother just wanted you to be happy.”
Jieun let out a scoff as she nodded, placing her hand on one of the bowling balls. “Alright, but just know that you don’t have to let me win today. I can do that all on my own.”
“Is that a challenge?” Wooyoung asked, tilting his head down to look at her.
“And what if it is?”
Her eyes narrowed as she stared at him, though Wooyoung held her gaze. A smirk spread across the older boy’s face.
“How about this? Winner gets to choose what we eat for dinner, and the loser has to pay for them.”
Jieun stood up straight and crossed her arms. She gave a single nod before extending her hand toward him.
“Deal,” she said as he took her hand and shook it. “I’m looking forward to free dinner.”
“How’s the food?” Wooyoung asked her from across the table.
Jieun smiled, covering her mouth as she spoke. “It’s actually really good.”
He nodded. “Even though it’s seasoned with the taste of defeat?”
She stopped mid-chew, gaze slowly lifting with a blank expression as Wooyoung grinned to himself.
“Two points, oppa. It was two points.”
“Two points that I got and you didn’t.”
Jieun rolled her eyes lightheartedly as she shook her head.
“That place was really nice, though,” she commented. “How’d you find it?”
“I don’t know, I think I saw it somewhere,” Wooyoung answered with a shrug, taking another bite of his food.
They continued the rest of the meal in silence, enjoying the fancy atmosphere in the restaurant Wooyoung had chosen. How he found out about it she’d never know, but she made a mental note to write down the name in case they ever went back to the city.
When the waiter came around with the bill, Jieun fished through her purse for her wallet. After finally pulling it out, she looked up to see Wooyoung handing his card to the waiter.
“Oppa, what are you doing?” Jieun asked, turning to the waiter. “Sorry, you can use my card instead.”
“No, it’s ok,” Wooyoung interjected. “We’ll use mine.”
“We made a deal though. I’m ok with paying, it’s not a big deal.”
The older boy waved her off, shaking his head. “It’s fine.” He smiled as the waiter handed him his card back before turning to her, shrugging. “The place I chose ended up being more expensive than I thought. Why would I make you pay for it?”
“Wooyoung-”
“Jieunie, it’s ok,” Wooyoung said, chuckling at the bewildered expression on her face. “What? I can’t spoil my groupmate every once in a while?”
“Why’d you suggest the challenge then if you were planning on paying anyways?” she asked, crossing her arms.
Wooyoung just shrugged. “So I could win.”
An exasperated sigh escaped Jieun’s lips, though all she could do was let out a small chuckle as she shook her head. She pulled her phone out of her purse, feeling Wooyoung’s lingering gaze on her as she checked the time.
“It’s getting kinda late. Maybe we should start heading back to the hotel?” She looked up at him with raised eyebrows. He didn’t meet her gaze, eyes fixated elsewhere yet still on her. Jieun chuckled awkwardly. “What? Do I have something on my face?”
This seemed to shake the older boy out of whatever trance he’d been in, as he immediately blinked and stood up straight. He shook his head.
“No, sorry. I was just thinking,” he said, a glint in his eyes that she couldn’t describe. “Yeah, we should probably get back.”
Jieun noticed his voice was laced with slight disappointment, though she pushed away the urge to inquire further. Neither spoke a word as they stood up, wordlessly walking out of the restaurant together.
As they walked back to the hotel, the sound of the still-busy streets filled the silence between them, though it did nothing to stop the churning in her stomach from the idea that she was missing something.
They only broke the silence once they were in the hotel, waiting in front of Jieun’s hotel room.
“Well, here’s your stop,” Wooyoung said, eyes fixated on the door.
She nodded slowly, following his line of vision. “Thanks for tonight. It was really fun. And for walking me back to my room.”
Suddenly, Wooyoung turned to the girl, the corners of his mouth tilting upward in a small smile.
“Anytime, Eunnie.” He reached over, ruffling the girl’s hair. She unlocked the door, sending him a smile as she held the door open.
“Good night, Wooyoung-oppa.”
“Good night, Jieun.”
Without looking back, Jieun walked inside her room and closed the door behind her. She let out a sigh as she slipped off her shoes, running her hands through her hair.
“Why hello there,” San’s voice sounded as she walked over to the dresser. “And where have you been, young lady?”
Jieun rolled her eyes lightheartedly, giving a slight chuckle.
“I was out with Wooyoung-oppa,” she said, taking off her jacket. “We went to this bowling alley place with live music and then got dinner.”
San nodded slowly, watching the girl as she put away her things.
“Did you have fun?”
She smiled as she grabbed her pajamas from the drawer, nodding.
“Yeah, I did.”
“That’s good.”
A smirk spread across San’s face as he nodded, though she didn’t notice as she walked into the bathroom to change.
When she emerged, fully changed into her pajamas, San spoke up again.
“So bowling then dinner. That was it?”
She looked at him curiously. “Yeah, why?”
The older boy shrugged as he turned back to his phone, typing away. “Nothing, just wondering.”
Jieun didn’t push any further, putting her clothes away before turning off the lights and climbing into bed. She was about to close her eyes when her phone dinged, and Jieun reached over to check the notification.
Wooyoung oppa: good night eunnie >.<
Along with the message was an attached image: a blurry close-up selfie of Wooyoung that only showed about half of his face.
Jieun giggled as she opened her camera, sending an equally blurry selfie back before typing out a reply.
Me: good night oppa, sleep well :)

So here’s everything you need to know about the current situation.
My whole phone is on lockdown. I’ve been told when it finally comes back, I’ll have to delete tumblr and discord. Hopefully I can use the website and get around it. My parents are looking at blocking it on my computer as well. I don’t think they can, but thier also monitoring it so I’ll have to be very careful. I have five minutes after 7:00 AM EST to be here before it’s over. Throughout the day, I will be on for one minute twice (two one minute sessions) just to check in. From there I might be able to answer one or two asks and quickly peak at my notifications. I’ll say in the mornings a few things; what happened yesterday, updates on the situation, and if I’m okay. That will be all I’ll be able to post. Sometimes if I have it at night, I’ll come on just to say goodnight or answer a few more asks. But again, it’s only a minute. I’m trying my best to stay calm for this but it’s not going great.
What exactly happened is a bit more complicated. I’ll recount it for you all just so it’s understandable. My parents at some point looked over my computer, which was logged into tumblr and discord, and decided I was talking to complete strangers and being dangerous. Yes I was talking to people online but I was being safe, and I don’t think they’d listen to that. But that isn’t exactly stopping me from talking to those “strangers”. I don’t think my parents really even see you people as humans that are good people. But. You know. I can’t fix that. So now my phone is locked down. I can only text them and one of my friends. I can use the bare essentials. All I know is at some point it’ll be unlocked, and I’ll have to delete these sites. I’ll try to plan for that best I can. But that’s essentially what’s going on.
As for the discord if anyone’s on that. The management of it is being handled by people I trust most there. Use it however you like, and to those two: Do whatever you want with it, but keep it free and open to anyone. All I want is for you all to continue making sure the people there are okay. I will pop in every day and say I’m alive, but really not much else. And yes I will read the messages, as much as I can.
Now that that’s over, onto the newly scheduled post.
Date of writing: 11/1/24
Am I okay: not really, but I’m alive and “healthy”
Things that happened: today, I have a hockey game, and we got evacuated early from school because of bomb threats. At home I kinda just walked around. I played a little bit of guitar, I’ve been listening to music and built legos. I’m doing some puzzles as well. I’m trying to take care of myself to hopefully get my parents to let me back here.
Log: today, I was taking the chance I had to look through my notifications. And I cried. At everything you all wrote to me. I’m going to miss you all so much. You all are such amazing people. I can’t say I didn’t think you’d all say that, but it still caught me off guard. Thanks. I’m glad you all are still going, as far as I know. Keep that going. Dying isn’t good for you! I also saw someone made a whole blog of days without me. That’s insane. I don’t know what to say to that. Hopefully, it doesn’t have to count to high. I’m gonna write your urls all down so I can visit you all when I can finally be back officially. I know this is all probably really confusing with me still responding to things, but it’s just a very complicated situation right now. It sucks tp not have things like this to vent and feel better, but I have started to keep a journal so I can place my thoughts somewhere and I’m going to eventually try to open up to one of my close irl friends to hopefully have someone to talk too. I’m probably never going to just move on from this, it’ll always be something I remember and maybe something that still hurts, but it’s still some of the best memories I’ve ever had even if I cry thinking about it. I’m doing my best here to distract myself, get back into reading, maybe slowly try to build my parents trust that I can handle my phone, even though I could already. But it’s fine. Ive found a lot of entertainment in the photos app recently. Maybe when I come back I’ll share it all with you. Sorry these posts are so long. I’m just trying to stay here as much as I can. But jsut know not to worry, becahse I’m still okay, and I’m alive. Apparently I’m going to be talked to about discord and tumblr. There is some hope I can stay, but we’ll see. Either way im a sneaky boi :)
The last thing I want to say is that whoever made that blog counting how long I’m gone, you are so appreciated. I appreciate all of you really. And all of you who’ve made a post tagging me about whatever experiences you’ve had with me or put it in my askbox, you’ve made me feel so much better about this just knowing I didn’t fuck it up with you. If you didn’t make anything like that, don’t feel obligated to. Just knowing you’re alive is the best thing for me right now. Stay safe, if not for yourself, for me, and if not for me, then for someone else. I’m doing the same for all of you.
ALSO! Ima probaly make a tag list for this so you can get this as soon as possible! I know this is almost becoming a newsletter but hey that works. So if you wanna be on it, just say so (preferably in a reply or reblog to this post, with nothing but that you want in, separate from any comments about the post itself. It helps!)

Joe being nervous of you meeting his family
Pumpkin Pie
nothing like a Thanksgiving fic in June 🤭
Fall in Ohio was definitely your favorite time of the year. The leaves changing always signaled to you mentally that football season was in full swing and the holidays were around the corner.
You take in the scenery for a moment before continuing to your boyfriends front door. “Joe!” you call out, entering his home.
“Hey you!” he welcomes you with a warm hug after being away from each other for a week. You traveled to Pennsylvania to visit family and attend an event with other NFL photographers that the league hosted annually.
“How was your trip? How’s your mom doing?” he questions as you both take a seat on the couch.
“Shes doing good, I saw my sister, it was really nice to be home for a bit and see everyone before they leave.” Your mom was traveling to Europe with her lifelong best friend, which you were a little concerned about at her age, but she insisted it had to be checked off the bucket list. Your sister was also heading to Florida to stay with her husband’s family for Thanksgiving, so your mom wanted everyone to be together since you’d be apart for the holiday.
“That’s good to hear, but i’m glad your back, I missed you a lot.” He smirks pulling you to his chest.
“I know Joe I missed you too, you know it’s funny we’ve only been officially dating for a month and I don’t even like being apart from you for a week.” You giggle into his chest.
“Yep. Joe Burrow effect.” He innocently shrugs receiving a nudge from you causing him to laugh.
“Hey I have a question….” he leads on. You look up to him with a bit of concern.
“Can you…I mean….do you by any chance like pumpkin pie?”
You laugh at his demeanor, he seemed almost scared for your response. “ I love pumpkin pie Joe, why do you ask?”
“oh thank GOD.” he looks almost relieved as he stands from the couch and walks to the fridge. You watch as he pulls a Costco pumpkin pie from the fridge, this of course being the only thing in the fridge besides a bottle of ketchup. He grabs two forks and heads back to you, placing the pie between you two and handing you a fork.
“Here.” he smiles and reaches for the remote to find a movie.
“Plates?” you ask.
“Nope, we don’t need them.” he insists.
“alright then.”
After a long night of Joe showing you how much he missed you, you got up early for a workout with your best friend.
She catches you up on her guy drama and you fill her in on Joe.
“Oh so you’re going to Thanksgiving with Joe’s family? That’ll be fun!” She responds to you’re blurb about you being home for the holiday.
You whip your head towards her as you both push through the stairmaster.
“Um what?” You respond in complete shock at your assumption.
“Well yeah…I mean, what is Joe gonna do, drive to Athens and leave you here for Thanksgiving? No way, he’s gonna want you to go with him.”
“I’ve never met his family before though, he makes them sound so sweet but that’s like a huge thing.” You respond between huffs, wiping your hand of the sweat along your forehead.
The two of you go back in forth on the conversation as you finish your workout. Leaving the gym you couldn’t help but to overthink the situation. Was Joe assuming you would just go with him? He might not even be considering it?
After showering and ordering takeout, you finally have time to wind down in your own apartment. You were finishing up some editing when Joe texted.
Joe❤️- dinner tmr night, I’m cooking
you- you mean your chef is cooking?
Joe❤️-😉
The next day you spend at the facility and finishing up more editing. Heading to Joe’s house the question rings through your head again. Does he want me to meet his parents?
You can immediately smell the fajitas Joe requests weekly as you walk into his house. You greet his chef and make your way upstairs do find him on the phone with someone. You walk into his room quietly and plop down next to him, soon able to put together that he must be talking to his mother. As he hangs up he turns back to face you, pulling you into him. “You hungry?” he questions. “Starving” you respond pulling him up from the bed to go back downstairs.
You both take a seat at the table as the chef brings over the food; both expressing your gratitude for the meal, after all, neither of you could cook. Without Joe’s chef, takeout would be the only option. You both make small talk throughout dinner and go over each others days.
“I heard you talking to your mom, how is she doing?” you ask picking up the glass of water. “She’s good, she was just checking in on things, asking me about Thanksgiving and stuff. I’m on pumpkin pie duty because she knows i’m picky about where the pie is from.” He babbles on, you laugh at the pie comment. “You know i’ve know you for almost a year and was given no insight into the punpkin pie fanatic that you are.” he gives you a surprised look. “Umm, what do you mean? Friendsgiving last year? At Jamarr’s? The pie that everyone was raving about…the one that I brought.” He goes on bragging about this situation which you have zero memory of, but give him the credit any way.
“So, since your family’s all out of town, what are you going to do for the holiday?” he looks up to you with seemingly hopeful eyes. “Um I don’t really know honestly, maybe i’ll just hang around here or go to Anna’s place?” you responded taking both of your plates to the sink.
“Why don’t you come with me?” he asks. “To Athens for the night, we won’t stay long cause of practice and everything but it would be nice for you to meet my family” he picks up the dishes to clean as you seat yourself in a barstool across from him.
“You’re ready for me to meet them?” you ask watching him load the dishwasher. “Yeah, I mean i’ve been wanting you guys to meet for a long time and they never get to see you at games cause your always on the field.” he says.
You think for a moment, then smile. “Yeah i’ll go with you.” He smiles in return, walking over to you and sitting with you on the couch. “Can you stay tonight?” He asks pushing a strand of hair from your face. “I have to go to the office early tomorrow, like earlier then you go for practice,” you say to him. “That’s fine, I have to meet with Brian anyway.” he returns. “Okay then, im staying,” you respond shifting yourself to lay in his lap as he finds a show to watch. “My moms going to be so happy your coming,” you smile as you hear him say it before dozing off.
A week later your packing a bag for Joe’s house. You were heading over there tonight, and leaving tomorrow morning for his parents house. You had him on FaceTime at the moment as you got everything together. “I hope you like them, I mean i know they’ll love you, but I hope you like them and-”
“Joe” you cut him off laughing. “They’re you’re parents, i’m going to love them, don’t you worry. I’m the one whose supposed to be nervous not you!” you giggle. “I know, I know, it’s just really important to me you know? I love you and I want you to feel like you’re apart of the family.” You smile at what he says. You and Joe confessed your love for one an other a while ago, but it still made you blush hearing him say the phrase. “I love you too Joe, and I promise i’m so excited to become apart of your family.” You pick up the phone to see his face. You and Joe had a funny dynamic. Technically you had only been together for a month, but you fell for him way before that. The day you were hired by the Bengals you knew there would be a professional problem because you became addicted to him. His looks, his jokes, just being around him was like a drug for you and you knew there was no escaping. You were definitely a little nervous about meeting his parents, but you were excited that this was happening. It made this whole dream feel a little more real.
The next morning you wake up in Joes arms. The two of you spend the morning getting ready and Joe expressing his little worries to you which you insisted he stoped talking about. “You know they’re going to drown you with questions right?” He asks you getting in the car. “Joe, that’s okay, all you need to worry about is your pumpkin pie.” You console him cupping his cheeks as you lean over to kiss them. He glances to the backseat to ensure it’s there, making you laugh.
The drive to Athens is quiet and relaxing, you let Joe have aux for about 15 minutes before you steal the cord. Pulling into his parents driveway, you take in the old red brick home that seems to be gushing with childhood memories. Joe’s parents appear and you meet them with a warm hug and hello. Robin hugs Joe tightly after not seeing him for a few weeks. Walking into the house you’re immediate hit with the sweet smell of cinnamon spice and you can’t help but smile. The four of you take a seat on the couch and Robin explains that others will be joining soon. She asks about your job and how you like working with the organization. “It’s honestly amazing, I worked in Seattle for a while, but it doesn’t even compare to this organization, and it’s nice to be able to work back in my home state,” you say. “It’s definitely something special, they really care.” Jimmy chimes in with a smile. After some more small talk Joe and his dad talk football while Robin gathers photo albums. She sits with you as she shows you baby Joe and gives you a backstory on the pictures. You die over each picture which Joe rolls his eyes at. “I was three!” he yells over your reaction to the picture of him running bare naked in the street with a football in his hand.
You could immediately tell Joes parents were something special, they are a big part of the man he is today and you were so happy you got to join the Burrows.
Others arrive soon after, and the house fills with chatter. You make your way around meeting the others and saying hi to Joes friends who also joined dinner, who you have met before.
You help Robin and Joes aunts in the kitchen for a while, the four of you chattering for hours before Joe pulls you aside.
“So?” he asks. “So what Joey? You want a rating on your family? I love them, I love all of this, I promise. Stop overthinking this and go sit with your friends.” You reach up to kiss him on the cheek and he smiles and nods.
You finish helping with dinner and setting the table with Joe. You all finally sit down together, the table beaming with chatter and laughter. “Thank you all for being with us, those of you who were on time, and those who showed up five minutes ago.” Jimmy says glancing towards Joes brothers, causing everyone to laugh. “I’m just kidding, but really it’s nice to have everyone under the same roof for the holiday.” “we love you all, now please eat!” Robin adds with a smile. You make small talk with different relatives at the table and with Joe. After dinner, you sit with Robin and Joe’s aunts, while the guys do the dishes.
“So y/n, you and Joe are absolutely adorable, really I know that boy and how he is with girls and he is really in love with you.” His mom’s sister comments with a smile. You return the smile and you can’t lie that you felt a blush from that comment. You loved that she picked up on that. “Do you see your family often?” the other sister asks. “Sometimes, most of them are in Pennsylvania so they come to games some times and I just went up there last week to visit.” you respond. Everyone joins in the living room as Joe serves the pumpkin pie. Robin puts on a Christmas movie, insisting that it was now Christmas season, which you couldn’t argue with.
Joe takes a seat next to you and you rest your head on his shoulder. The rest of the night is filled with reminiscing on childhoods and lots of football. You hug everyone goodbye and Robin pulls you in tight. “Thank you y/n” she whispers “he really needs you” she smiles and moves to hug Joe goodbye. The drive home is again a comfortable silence that you happily doze off to, knowing you’re family just expanded tremendously.

HE LOVES ME NOT ˚* ❀ part six ✎
wc! 900
true to his word jake arrived back at her dorm in fifteen minutes. he drove around for a few minutes before she decided on stopping at a convenience store. “let’s have some ramen.” she said, filling the basket with different snacks. jake put some snacks he liked in as well before taking their ramen to cook it for them. she took the basket to pay for everything.
“you didn’t have to pay for this stuff.” he scolded her. “i was going to.” a pout took over his face. she smiled. “i’ll let you pay next time.” she patted his cheek. “so there is going to be a next time?” y/n shrugged. “i don’t see why not.” he couldn’t help the smile that formed on his face. the pair sat quietly and ate their ramen. ‘’not to sound rude but why did you ask me to hang out, instead of one of your friends?” the girl sighed. “because they would question me about my boyfriend and i really don’t want to talk about him right now.”
jake nodded before taking a bite of his ramen. “well i’ll be glad to be your distraction and not talk about your totally shitty boyfriend.” y/n groaned and pushed jake’s shoulder. he let out a loud laugh. “jake stop it.” she couldn’t help but laugh along with him. “can i ask you one thing about him though?” she nodded. “sure.” jake turned towards the girl. “ if he continues to hurt you like this why are you staying with him? and please don’t tell me it’s because you love him.”
she sighed and looked at her lap. “ i guess it’s because he’s all i’ve ever known, he was my first kiss, my first time, my first everything.” jake nodded for her to continue. ‘’ he’s older than me, so no one knows about our relationship..” “oh my god are you in danger? i can get a hold of people who can help you.” she placed her hand over his mouth. “no i’m not in danger. he’s twenty-two and i’ll be turning twenty in a month. i met him here.” jake sighed. “i don’t know y/n he seems pretty shitty.” she sighed. “so everyone says.” “but enough about him, let’s go for a walk.”
jake stood and placed his hand out for her to take. she smiled and took his hand. they aimlessly walked around the less crowded streets for what felt like hours. she didn’t mind though. the time she was spending with jake was relaxing. freeing almost. the pair somehow ended up back at the park they first met just a few hours prior. “it’s so peaceful here at night.” she said taking a seat on the same cold bench. the stem of her daisy still laid a few feet away. a soft breeze blew and she watched as the wind carried it.
“i come here a lot while i wait for my friends to be done in the bar.” jake said taking a seat next to her. “that sounds like it happens way to often.” he laughed. “unfortunately, i wish they’d cut back a little, like today they were there since eleven this morning.” y/n sighed. “ sounds like you need better friends.” he shrugged. “no they’re pretty cool when they are black out drunk.” y/n nodded. another gust of wind blew causing y/n to shiver. jake noticed and quickly shed his hoodie and handed her the soft material. she looked up at him. “oh jake i couldn’t take this from you, you’d be cold.” he shook his head. “i’ll be fine just wear it.”
she sighed before putting the hoodie on. it was warm and smelled like his cologne.”thank you jake.” he smiled. “not a problem, i couldn’t have you freeze to death.” she giggled. she checked her phone and realized it was four-thirty am. “we should probably head back, i have a lecture at eleven today.” jake frowned. “time really flies when you’re having fun.” she smiled. “come on lets go.” she stood up and they walked back to his car. she was sad to be dropped off if she was being honest. she enjoyed her time with jake and didn’t really want the night to end. jake watched to make sure she got inside safely before he took off back to his dorm.
he placed his hand on the door knob but it opened from the inside. a girl wearing little to nothing smiled and walked past him. ‘’hey tell heeseung thanks for tonight for me? thanks.” she blew a kiss and walked away. jake rolled his eyes before shutting the door. jay was in the kitchen chugging water. “hey man where were you?” he asked. “i was out.” jake gave a short reply and walked to his room.
across campus y/n’s alarm blared and she jolted awake. not really into the mood she pulled on a pair of leggings leaving jake’s hoodie on. after she freshened up she headed to classes. jungwon met her before classes holding coffees. her eyes light up seeing the cups containing caffeine. “you’re a life saver wonnie.” “is that a new hoodie?” he asked. she looked down at her appearance. jake’s hoodie stared back at her. “yeah.” was all she said before taking a drink of her coffee. once sunoo joined them they headed to their respective lectures.
y/n had completely missed the glare shot at her. heeseung watched her approach jungwon wearing a hoodie he didn’t recognize. it made his blood boil. with a clenched jaw he headed to his lecture.
during her lecture y/n’s phone was buzzing with messages. when the class was finally over she checked her messages and rolled her eyes. he really had some nerve. deciding to ignore the messages she began walking home. tears swelled in her eyes as more messages from heeseung came in.

The Crow's Song - Chapter 9
Prince Levi x Witch Reader
Royal Romance with magic.
The honeymoon continues, but you come across some bumps in the road.
Ao3
Part 10
You nuzzled against Levi as the carriage rocked and took you to your next honeymoon spot. “You know, you have the perfect face for kissing.”
Levi chuckled. “Thank you. I’m glad I do because I like kisses.” He caressed your cheek. “You’re so pretty.”
You hugged Levi tightly. “Thank you.”
He went to speak but the carriage came to a sudden stop. “Tch, the fuck?” He got up and kissed your cheek. “Stay here, I’ll go find out what the fuck is going on.”
You wrapped a blanket around you. “Okay.”
He grumbled as he walked to the door and shoved it open to see two guards. “What?”
The first guard eyed the inside of the carriage behind Levi. “We’re carrying out inspections, sir.”
“Inspections? On who’s orders?”
“The Duke’s.” He cleared his throat. “Duke Horton owns this land and has heard of what King Rowen has been doing and is interested.”
Levi snarled. “But this King Ackerman’s country.”
“The Duke understands that, but the Duke owns the land and only works with the King. However, King Rowen and his advisor have brought up something rather interesting.”
“So, what are you looking for?”
“Witches.”
Levi clenched his jaw tightly. “I need to see an order from the King.”
The guard gripped his sword. “We can always do this by force.”
“Interesting. You forced your crowned prince to give you access to his wife’s carriage, who is your crowed princess.”
The guards looked at each other before bowing. “We are so sorry Your Highness!”
Levi slammed his fist against the side of the carriage. “That’s not the point! There are no royal decrees stating that witches should be investigated. Your crowned princess is a witch, for fuck’s sake.” His magic crows swarmed around them as darkness surged in. “Your crowned prince uses magic. Your King and Queen use magic. This is a land that celebrates magic. How dare you hunt my wife down.”
You placed Your hand on Levi’s back. “Levi?”
The crows vanished and the darkness disappeared. “Bunny.”
You looked at the guards. “I’m the witch you are looking for. Do you need to see my papers?”
“Bunny, no.”
You kissed Levi’s cheek. “It’s okay. I’m used to this kind of thing.” You grabbed your papers from a drawer next to the door. You smiled sweetly at the guards and handed the papers over. “Here you go, gentlemen. Everything should be in order.”
The guard who took your papers started shaking, he was scared of Levi’s look of pure rage towards him and his friend. “E-Everything is i-in order.” He offered the papers back. “Th-thank you.”
You took the papers back and smiled. “No, thank you for doing your duty. I hope you have a lovely day.”
“Uh, y-you too, Your Highness.”
Levi watched you go back to your seat before he addressed the guards. “You two done or is there anything else you want to inspect?” His tone was dark and harsh.
Both guards bowed. “Thank you, Your Highness. Welcome to our land!”
“Well, after what just happened? We’re passing through.” He slammed the door shut and huffed. “Disgusting.”
You smiled softly at your husband. “Thank you for getting angry for me.”
He stormed over and sat with a huff. “This is fucking ridiculous. I will be reporting the Duke for creating his own rules.” He looked over at you. “What did you mean when you said you’re used to it?”
You released a long sigh. “You can look at my papers if you want. I’ve never had to use them in your country, but in other countries, I’ve had to show them often. People are more suspicious of witches.”
“Why?”
You shrugged as Levi checked your papers. “I don’t know, maybe because we’re women with the ability to fight. People don’t like it when a woman is stronger than them.”
Levi placed your papers down and wrapped his arms around you. “You are so adorable in this magical image.”
You leaned over and looked. “Oh, I was so young.” You hummed a laugh. “Look at me.”
Levi gazed at you as you smiled. “I’m sorry.”
You looked up at him. “About my past experience? That’s normal.”
“I mean everything. You deserve better.”
You hugged Levi’s side. “Levi. You give me a better life. I’m happy and I’m in love.”
He hugged you back. “I’m glad you feel that way, but it’s still fucked up. It makes me angry. I want to fix this.”
You kissed his temple. “I understand.” You rubbed his chest. “I love you.”
He gazed at you as his heart fluttered. “I love you so much. I just want you to have everything you could ever dream of.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck and slowly lay on him. “Wanna know what I want? What do I dream of?”
Levi’s eyes sparkled with pure delight. “Yes.”
“You, all the time.” You kissed and nipped his neck all over. “I just want you.”
Levi whined a little. “You…” He sighed. “I love you.” He wrapped his arms around you and rolled onto you. “I just want to eat you.”
“You can as much as you like.”
He chuckled. “I’m a lucky man.”
You slapped your hands on his bum and gripped hard. “I’m a lucky woman.”
He tapped his forehead against yours. “I can’t believe we get to spend hundreds of years together and make so many cute little ones.”
You giggled. “I can’t either.” Your cheeks heated up when your stomach growling interrupted the silence. “Sorry.”
Levi showered your face with kisses. “I’ll get you some food. We’re almost through this land and to our next and better destination. We’ll be stopping on the lake in the woods. We’ll be alone and we’ll be camping.”
“Perfect.”
He moved to your carriage door and opened it to reveal the lake. “Here we are.” He opened up the front of your cosy carriage so you could see as much of the lake and thick woods as possible. Behind the lake were large and snow-topped mountains. “What do you think?”
You wrapped a long, soft dressing gown around you before leaving the carriage. “This is…” You turned to your husband. “If we could, I’d love to just live here. Can we make it a special spot? Can we keep coming back each when we have children?”
Levi smiled softly. “Yes. I think that’d be a wonderful idea.”
You clapped your hands together causing your magic to move things around. A large carpet lay on the ground with chairs and tables placed on them. Blankets, cushions and lights decorated the area making it a comfy welcoming spot. It was a nice little quiet place for the two of you. It was just comfy camping that you two could enjoy together.
You took a seat on a mound of cushions and wiggled. “Perfect.”
Levi lit the outdoor stove and started making a nice big pot of spicy stew. “It really is perfect.”
You wrapped a blanket around yourself. “Hmm.”
He put a lid on the pot and walked over to you. “What’s on your mind, my little bunny witch?”
You wiggled closer to him. “I was just thinking that our honeymoon will be over soon. I kind of don’t want it to be over.”
“I understand. Going back means we have a country to run and care for. Plus, we have the issues with King Rowen and Vance Noir.”
You put your head in your hands. “I can’t help but feel like this all comes back to me.”
Levi rubbed your back. “Darling, it’s not. Vance is acting on his own. Something is not right about him.”
You lifted your head. “After he started this new kind of magic he changed.”
“You are not to blame.”
You smiled softly at your husband. “I’m lucky you are in my life. I think if you weren’t I would be drowning right now mentally.”
Levi wrapped his arms around you and held you. “I would be the same. If you didn’t come into my life I believe I would be working myself to death. I don’t think I’d be married either.”
You kissed Levi’s cheek a few times. “Well, you’re a lucky guy I turned up, huh? You get your dick wet almost every night and day.”
Levi went bright red as he said your name. “You naughty little bunny.”
You giggled as he started tickling you. “Sorry.”
He hugged you tightly. “You’re dirty sometimes, huh?”
“Only with you.”
He rested his chin on the top of your head and closed his eyes for a moment as he held you. “Mm, you’re perfect.”
“So are you.” You inhaled deeply. “Dinner smells incredible.”
“I’m glad.” He released you and approached the pot. “Looks good.” He stirred it a bit. “Have you got the bread you made yesterday?”
You hurried over to the kitchen in the carriage and retrieved the crusty bread. “Here!”
He smiled fondly at you. “You are so beautiful.”
You walked over to Levi. “And you’re my sexy handsome man.”
You sat up quickly and inhaled. Your hair was a mess and you were naked but something had woken you up. As your mind pieced things together you realised you swore you heard Levi calling for you. You rubbed your eyes and heard a distant call of your name again. You looked down next to you on the bed to see Levi was sleeping there, he was nude and sleeping on his side with his arm slung over you.
You yawned before shaking Levi awake. “Mm, Levi?”
He hugged his pillow and bucked as he woke up. “Nnngh.” He opened his eyes and looked over at you. He smiled softly as he gazed at you. “Are you hungry for more? I can go slow and deep. I’m a bit sleepy though.”
You grabbed his hand before he could touch you. “No, that’s not why I was waking you. Were you dreaming about me?”
He hummed in thought. “No…I was dreaming about…hmm…rabbits for some reason.” He inhaled again and stretched a bit. “Why do you ask? Am I in trouble for not?”
You shook your head. “No, it’s just I swore I heard you say my name twice.”
He ruffled his hair a bit. “Mm, I don’t talk in my sleep.”
“You’re right, you’ve never talked in your sleep.” You nibbled your lip as you thought. “I just…I swore I heard you call for me.”
Levi slipped out of bed and yanked on his bottoms. “I can look around.”
“No, it’s okay. I probably dreamed it.”
He leaned over and kissed your cheek. “It’s okay. I’ll have a look.” He stumbled through the carriage to the door and opened it. He shivered at the cold air hitting him. “Odd, cold…”
You yanked on a dressing gown and hurried over. “Cold? It’s the middle of summer.”
“I don’t understand it.”
You hugged yourself. “Levi?”
He looked back at you and softly smiled. “I’ll be careful. I promise.”
You whined a little as he stepped down and out of the carriage. “Levi?”
He glanced back at you. “Stay there, okay?”
“I’d feel safer with you. What if while you’re looking something or someone grabs me?”
Levi stared at you for a bit as he processed what you said. “Hmm, you’re right.” He reached over to you. “Come here.”
You took his hand and hurried over to him. “We go everywhere together.”
He hummed a laugh. “We go.”
“Shall I use my lights?”
He lifted his hand and sent his crows out. “I’ll get my crows to look around.” He kissed your hand. “Where about did you hear the voice?”
You looked around a moment before pointing. “I think this way.”
He walked with you into the thick woods and held slight tension in his body. “Mm.”
“It’s weirdly quiet.”
Levi paused a moment. “What?”
You looked up at the canopy of the trees. “No breeze, no animals, nothing. There is no sound.” You shivered. “I don’t like it.” You looked down at Levi. “Can we go back?”
He held you close. “Yeah, okay we’ll go back.” He looked around. “My crows didn’t find a thing.” He turned and pulled you against him. “Maybe I did talk in my sleep.”
You hummed a laugh. “It’s possible.” You looked ahead and saw a tall shadow move from behind one tree to another. You jumped as fear shot through you. “Levi.”
He hugged you tightly. “I saw it too.”
You sent your lights out along with Levi’s crows, but nothing showed up. “What…”
“Tch, damn it…maybe we’re tired.” He hurried you along the path and back to the carriage. “Let’s go back to bed, okay? We need sleep and we were up all night.”
You sat on the bed and watched Levi lock up the carriage, he was just as spooked as you were and the idea of possibly a ghost in the woods was hanging in the air but you knew Levi didn’t want to say it. “You’re right. We’re both tired.” You pulled your things off before climbing into bed. “I’ll send a blessing out over our carriage.” You reached up before sending your lights out. “There.”
Levi knelt and placed his hand on the floor. “I’m blessing as well.” He sighed as his magic surged out and blessed the carriage and the land. “There.” He dragged his things off and climbed into bed. “Sleep.”
You wrapped up and closed your eyes. “Happy to.”
Levi watched you fall asleep and kept an eye on you. He looked around the carriage and felt uncomfortable and on edge. The carriage was creaking and groaning, but there was no wind outside so it didn’t make sense. He flinched when he heard a distant scream. “Tch, shit.” He climbed out of bed and sent his magic into the carriage. He made all the items outside fold up and land on the roof. “Fuck this spot.”
He moved to the front of the carriage and held a shelf as the carriage rocked and drove along the path. He frowned as his crows kept searching and looking around for anything at all, but nothing could be located. He didn’t like the fact that there was something out there he couldn’t locate or stop. He made sure the carriage moved somewhere else. He checked the spot was just as beautiful as the last and discovered that it was far better. So, he blessed the land and put up magical boundaries.
After putting everything out like it had been before, he climbed back into bed and spooned you. “Mm.” He squeezed your soft warm body as he felt himself relax. “Safe.” He kissed your forehead as he felt better. “My sweet wife.”
You woke up a bit later and felt so comfy in your man’s arms. “Morning, Levi.” You kissed his forehead before slipping out of his arms and starting your day. You changed into something nice and stepped outside. “Huh…we moved…” You looked back at the carriage then out at the views. “It’s prettier.”
After checking everything was in place you started making breakfast. The smell of bacon and sausages was so good and made you hungry. You put the kettle on the cooker and started mixing a few things as you felt excited about what you and Levi could do for the day. As you got close to finishing the breakfast, Levi stumbled out of the carriage and hummed a bit.
You smiled brightly at your husband. “Good morning.”
Levi trudged over to you and hugged you tightly. “Mm, good morning.” He inhaled deeply. “Something smells good.” He nibbled your neck making you giggle. “It’s you.”
You hummed a laugh. “Thank you. Also, thank you for moving us.”
“I heard a scream in the woods. My crows checked, but nothing came up so.” He sat down and poured cups of tea. “I assumed it is a ghost or some shit. I am not staying in the woods with a ghost.”
You smiled sweetly. “I understand.”
“If anyone is going to be screaming it’s you from your orgasms.”
You snorted a laugh. “Levi! Look at you.”
He handed you a tea and winked. “Well, am I wrong?”
You purred. “Not at all. You are incredible in bed.”
“So are you.” He kissed you. “My goddess.”
You kissed his cheek a few times before sipping your tea. “Mm, a good cup of tea. You always make good tea.”
Levi chuckled. “I’m the master of tea.”
You put your cup down and started plating the breakfast. You always gave Levi more food because he tends to eat more and get rid of his energy more. “Here.”
He took his plate and eyed it. “Why do I have more?”
“You always eat more, my love.”
He pouted a bit. “I know. Are you sure it’s just that?”
You smiled softly at him, you knew he was talking about weight and how you had recently had a lot of negative feelings about yourself due to Jane and her group. “Mm, I’m feeling better than I had in the past. I love you, you love me and you think I’m sexy and I do think I’m sexy and pretty.” You grinned at him. “I’m working on getting my confidence back to how it was.”
He leaned over and kissed your shoulder. “You are walking perfection.”
“Mm, I know.”
“Good girl.” He looked up at the guards walking closer. “Oh, for fuck’s sake.” He released a long sigh. “What do you idiots want? I am on my fucking honeymoon.”
The guards bowed. “Greetings, Your Highnesses. We present Duke Horton.”
You stared at the large and flabby man. “Oh, he’s blocking my pretty view.”
Levi rose to his feet. “You’re blocking my wife’s view! She deserves the best!”
The Duke shuffled over to you, his robes dragging on the floor. “Forgive me, princess.” He licked his lips as he looked you over. “You are a vision! So beautiful.”
Levi blocked the Duke’s path to you before he could touch you. “Back off. She’s my wife.”
“I just…well…” He cleared his throat. “She’s so pretty and I felt so terrible when my guards returned to me. I want to say sorry for my actions.”
Levi glared at the Duke. “You don’t talk to her. You don’t look at her. You don’t even think about her. Got it?”
You hugged Levi from behind. “My love?” You squeezed his pecs. “Breathe.”
He placed his hand on yours. “Forgive me.” He released a long sigh. “I just…” He sighed. “Duke, it’d be in your best interest to walk away.”
You peered around Levi and gazed at the Duke. “This is our honeymoon. Please, leave us alone.”
“Just let me.”
“No.” You hid a bit. “If you won’t leave I’ll let my husband make you leave.”
The Duke backed up. “I uh…umm…look, I just want to say sorry and that my allegiance is to your family. No longer will I listen to King Rowen and his advisor. I should listen to the King of my land.”
Levi clenched his jaw. “You should have done that in the first place.” He huffed. “Please, leave us to be alone together.”
You rubbed your face against Levi’s back. “Hungry.”
Levi growled. “My wife is hungry. We were about to have breakfast. So, leave now.”
Duke Horton bowed. “Forgive me.”
“Just go.” He waited for a moment after they were gone before turning to you. “You okay my bunny witch?”
You nodded. “Mm, yeah. I just want to eat.”
He kissed your cheek. “Let’s have our breakfast and then we’ll go for a walk.”
“Prefect!” You hurried to your seat and sat down. “Do you think he’ll come back?”
Levi sat next to you and huffed. “Yes. He’ll keep bothering us. He’s seen you and he’s smitten.”
You started eating your breakfast. “Mm, so good.”
Levi rubbed your back. “I’ll make tea again cause our tea was ruined.”
“Thank you.”
He winked at you. “You’re welcome.”
After finishing your breakfast you sank into your seat and looked out at the views. “Mm, this place is lovely.”
Levi reached over and held your hand. “It really is.”
You looked over at Levi. “I know I’ve already said this, but I don’t want to go back.”
Levi smiled sadly. “I feel the same. There is a lot of work for us to do when we go back.” He kissed the back of your hand loads. “Think of it this way though. We’ll get back, work hard to fix things and then everything will be okay.”
You smiled at your husband. “You’re right. We just have to stop Rowen and Vance. Once they’re stopped we can have some peace.”
“That’s it.” He squeezed your hand. “Love you.”
“Love you too, Levi.”

If I Should Stay
Okay so I was going to try to post this on Christmas but I had the worst WiFi possible. So that didn’t happen. So y’all get two today because Christmas :)
Part 1 | . . . | Part 43 | Part 44 | Part 45
Or maybe it all just almost goes to shit.
“Steve?”
“Yeah?”
“I’m scared.”
“I know, Ellie. I am too. But it’ll be okay.”
She takes a deep breath, grabs his hand and squeezes, and nods. “Okay.”
The one on the car lunges, maw wide and terrifying, and El yells as she thrusts her hand towards it, stopping it midair. She throws it to the side, bowling over the two to their right, and throws the one on their left over that direction too.
“Check behind us,” she asks Steve, before bringing a car down onto the pile of demodogs.
Steve whips his head around. “Well,” he says, voice imbued with fake cheer, “there’s no demodogs.”
El whips around to see what he had: two demogorgons. She huffs, moves until she’s in front of Steve, and reaches behind her before quickly bringing her hand forward, tossing a different car in their direction.
Steve scrambles for his bat, having foolishly placed it in the trunk, grabbing it just before a demodog climbs out from under the car El had thrown. Another one is struggling, its back half pretty badly crushed, but Steve is a little worried it will make its way out. “El? How’re you feeling?”
“Okay,” she responds. “But I want to finish this soon.”
“You and me both, Ellie.” He flips his bat. “I’ll take care of the one halfway under the car if you can get the one heading our way.”
“Yeah,” she answers, and he advances, walking around the free demodog.
The trapped one snaps and claws at his feet and legs, trying to pull him closer, so he swings his bat, connecting with a leg. It growls and pulls away, long enough for Steve to swing at its head. He keeps going until it doesn’t move anymore, then surveys the area.
The rest of the demodogs are dead, including the one that had gotten free. El had taken care of it, alright; there’s a car buried three feet in the ground where the demodog once was.
The demogorgons met a similar fate, crushed underneath a pickup truck, which was also buried about three feet in the ground.
He turns to look at El and freezes, dumbfounded, watching as she extends a hand towards the group of demodogs under the car.
The car shakes, groans, then buries itself in the ground with a pop.
“Uh,” Steve eloquently says. He tries again. “Ellie?”
She slowly turns to look at him. It’s more like she’s looking through him, her gaze almost making him uncomfortable as he continues. “You’re floating.”
She blinks, then seems to realize where she is. She slowly lowers herself, and Steve’s ready to catch her when she wobbles and ultimately collapses when her feet touch ground. “That was amazing,” he whispers into her hair. “I’m so proud of you, Ellie, you deserve all the waffles, holy shit. Okay, come on, I got you, let’s get in the car, lay you down.”
She can barely keep her eyes open, “All gone?”
His heart clenches. “Yeah, Ellie. They’re all gone, you did such a good job. You can rest now, ‘kay?”
“M’kay,” she murmurs, falling into the backseat and curling up. “Wake… at home.”
Steve just smiles, cards a hand over her hair. “Just go to sleep, Ellie. I’ve got you.”
She does, murmuring something nonsensical, and Steve’s heart clenches again as he gently shuts the door and makes his way around to the driver’s seat.
The ride home is uneventful, and when El doesn’t stir when he turns the car off, he carries her inside.
Robin, Allison, Eddie, and Wayne are waiting for them. “She’s fine,” he assures them quietly. “Just exhausted.”
Eddie steps forward. “Let me take her,” he whispers. “You’re still injured.”
Steve grimaces. “You’re really not gonna like hearing what we just did, then.”
Eddie raises a brow with a slight smile, grinning when Steve sighs out, “Fine. Put her in my room, please?”
Eddie nods. “Glad you’re safe,” he murmurs before leaving with her.
Allison and Robin rush him as soon as El’s out of the room. “You goddamn idiot,” Robin gripes, wiping tears from her cheeks. “I was worried.”
“We both were,” Allison says, giving him a look.
“I’m sorry,” Steve murmurs, hugging them both. “I’m fine, I promise. Things got a little more exciting than we’d hoped, but we’re both okay.”
“I’m glad you’re safe,” Allison murmurs, and Robin nods before they both crush him back into a hug.
When they pull back, Allison grins at him. “I’m saying this because I love you,” she starts, “but you need a shower.”
Robin giggles, and when Steve turns an affronted look on her, she raises her hands in surrender. “I didn’t say anything!”
“No, but you were thinking it,” he mutters, grinning at both of them before following the path Eddie had taken.
When he walks into his room, he’s surprised to see Eddie standing at the foot of his bed, looking at El.
“This is all crazy, right?” He asks. “I’m not being dramatic?”
Steve smiles at him. “You’re always dramatic,” he reminds Eddie, getting a glare in return, “but no. This is definitely crazy.”

Super Mario Bros. Isekai!Reader (Bowser x Reader) (3/3)
This one is going to be short since I had no way of ending it. I had plans but I had better fics to make later.
“Peachy!” You ran as fast as you could to the Castle.”
“(Y/N)! Are you okay?” Princess Peach went to to you as fast as she could in her heels. Toadsworth was behind her. She looked worried as you were all dirty from your trip of fruit collecting. There was a branch sticking out of your head.
“I’m Fine really.…I just got of an encounter with Bowser is all.”
“Bowser?! Oh Dear! Tell me where it hurts!! Did he hurt you! Do I need to use my Heart power?”
She gently cups your face in her hands as she frantically looks for injuries. She wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if you hot hurt again because of her.
“It’s okay. I’m okay. He barely left a graze on me. Im just a little tired from running and helping him on his feet.”
“You,what?!” Toadsworth exclaimed in shock. Peach looks shocked as well. “Helped him on his feet?”
“Yeah. I was about to run when he slipped on a banana peel and landed on his shell. He couldn’t get up so I pushed him back on his feet. He was so heavy.” You explained.
Silence.
“Is something wrong?”
“Why did you do that?!”
“Well, it felt wrong . I couldn’t just leave him like that.”
“Yes you could. Especially if he attack you. Didn’t he?”
“Well…”
Toadsworth shakes his head at you. “Honestly, what would’ve happened if he ended up attacking again while you were vulnerable?”
“That’s the thing, he didn’t. He just walked away a grumbled. He didn’t even try to sneak attack me. O don’t think he as mas as before.”
Peach stood there in silent before looking at you in a worried way. “Even so, I need you to be careful. You could’ve gotten extremely hurt. Im just glad your safe.”
She grabs your hand and drags you with her.
“Now come now. We will go to the nurse and check. If everything is okay, then will continue with our plan to bake! Our girls’ night is still going!”
“But all the fruits I’ve collected are bruised.”
“Then we’ll use them quickly. They’re still good to used.”
Toadsworth just stares as both of you enter a different room.
He sighs.
Honestly, he wonders whose the bad influence here. You are a strange but you make the princess very happy.
He just wish you could stay out of trouble.
He hopes that you don’t attract anymore trouble to you, especially Bowser.
Meanwhile, at Bowser’s Castle
Bowser sits on his throne. Annoyed but not as angry as before.
You still annoyed him but you didn’t make him as angry as he was. Just a little bit.
“Stupid Girl.…..Looking like a weakling.”
He still hated. Wait that’s too strong. Maybe more so ‘dislike’ you.
He was jealous how buddy buddy you were with Peach.
You were able to do things he couldn’t dream of doing in years.
What is with humans and always 1-Upping him!?
I mean! What does she see in you. With you strange appearance, your Unmodest stature, your stupid puppy dogs eyes, your cute voice, your annoying charming smile, your endearing personality and-
Wait.
WHAT WAS HE THINKING?!
He had to get straight. This is not what he menanti to think. You're Stupid. EVERYTHING IS STUPID!! BUT MOSTLY YOU!
"Damn it.…" he growled softly as he rubber his head. You're going to be more of a headache then he thought.

Chapter two
Micaella’s POV
The next morning I wake up and I take a shower and I put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants and I grab my phone and dorm keys and I head to the gym. As I walk into the gym I see Nika inside. I smile at her and I say good morning Nika and I check the time to make sure that I won’t be late. She looks up and says good Morning Micaella how did you sleep last night. I smile at her and I say I slept pretty well. I was wondering if you could help me find the soccer coaches office. She smiles and says yes of course follow me and then I follow beside her and she shows me where the office is and she says I’ll stay out here for you. I smile and say thank you. She smiles and says no problem and then I walk inside and I see the coach Michelle Rodriguez and I say hi I’m micaella I’m here to sign my contract with you. She stands up and says oh yes and how was the trip up here. I smile and I say I got here last night. It was pretty good and I shook her hand and she said "So I’ve heard that you were the captain of your old team, mind being captain again? I smile and say thank you and she smiles and says you are a great player. I wouldn't be surprised if you went pro. I smile and say that’s the goal, well one of them I also want to be a marine biologist and end poaching.
She says omg really that is so really cool. I blush and say yeah that’s the goal and then I read my contract and I signed it and I ask her if dating teammates is off limits but is dating other people who are in different sports okay? She says yeah that is totally fine and I smile softly thinking about Nika and I snap out of it and I say when will I take pictures? She says right after we are done here. I smile and say it sounds good and we finish signing. We then walk over so I can take the official pictures. We both smile in the pictures and then the manager hands me my new Adidas practice bag and I quickly change into my game kit with the number 2 and my last name. Nika watches me from the back of the room. I then take pictures with the soccer ball and I smile widely. After the pictures are over i get changed then i walk back over to nika.
I smile at her and I say hey you sorry if you had other plans I didn’t realize that it would be so long. She says hey it's quite alright i really enjoyed it. I smile at her and I say let me just put my bag in my dorm. She says perfect let's go then and I follow her back to the dorms and I say that I’m the new captain of the soccer team. She smiles and says that's so awesome congratulations. I smile and say thank you and I open the door to my dorm and I set my bag down and then I say no practice today? She says no not for a few more months. I say ah lucky we start next week. She says wow that’s kinda crazy and I say I know right but at least no classes yet. She says i am so glad and I say the same and then I say i should really get some groceries to make dinner tonight. She asks what are you gonna make. I say maybe pasta would you like to stay for dinner tonight? She says I would love that thank you. I smile and say perfect I’m just going to grab my purse and keys then we can go to the store. She smiles and says okay and I smile and grab my purse and get my keys and I put my purse handle around my shoulder. Nika waits by my door all patiently for me and then I walk to the door and we walk out to my car. Nika opens my driver's side door for me. I smile with a little giggle and I say thank you and then I get in and I put my seat belt on and then I reach across to open her door. She gets in and puts her seat belt on and then I do the directions and I hand her the aux cord and my phone. She then turns on some music and I start driving to the store and we sing along to the music. She says you have a great taste in music.
I smile and say thank you and then I continue to drive to the grocery store and once we get there I park. We both then get out of the car and I turn my car off and we go inside. Nika pushes the cart for me and I get steak, potatoes, hotdogs and beans, pasta, pancake mix and everything else that I need. Nika walks beside me all content and I then grab some cereal and snacks and then Nika sees her teammates and says oh dear my teammates are here. I say okay where and she points over at her teammates and Paige sees her and kk says yooooo Nika and I can’t help but giggle. She looks all embarrassed and I smile at her and say go see them I’m almost done. She says okay but I will be back shortly. I smile and say take your time I’m not going anywhere. She says okay and she walks away to her teammates and I watch her walk away. She looks back at me and she smiles and then she winks. I blush softly and I continue to shop around.
Her teammates all ask who she was standing next to. Nika smiles and says my next door neighbor she transferred from Florida to play for our soccer team. They all say okay she's cute. Nika says yeah she is and then she looks for me. She spots me standing near the produce section. I then grab some more stuff that I need and I look over to see a picnic basket and blankets and I get those too. Nika just smiles and she shakes her head at me. I then look around for picnic food and I get those from the deli and some desserts and a bouquet of red roses. Paige looks over and says ooh i wonder who the red roses are for hmmm. Nika blushes and says oh shush and then I get the flowers single roses for her and her teammates. I then pay for everything and then I walk over to the girls and I hand them each a red rose and I give Nika a bouquet of red roses.
They all say thank you and they blush and nika gives me a kiss on the cheek. I smile and say you're very welcome girls. Would you all like to go on a picnic and of course I’ll make dinner later on. They all say omg yes we would love to. I smile and I say well I paid already so let’s head back so I can put the groceries I don’t need in the refrigerator and I have three seats in the back if anyone wants to join us. They all said okay and I smiled and walked out towards my car. Nika helps me put all the bags in the trunk and three of the girls all climb in the back seat. Nika opens my door and I smile at her and I get in. the girls in the back all aww at us and I smile and reach over to get her door open and then I put my seatbelt on.
