Late Nights, Early Mornings
Pairings: Joel Miller x Reader
WC: ~500
Warnings: a lil hint of smut, reader is described as having hands smaller than Joel’s but no physical descriptions otherwise
AN: I was possessed to write this at after working a week of overnight shifts at 6am. This is the first thing I've written and actually finished in months. Also tysm to @janaispunk and @planet-marz1 for help with titles. Divider by @saradika-graphics 💕
Joel had a love hate relationship with late nights where you went to bed before him.
His favorite time of day was spent in bed with you winding down for the day. Toying with your hands, dwarfed by his own, as you told him about your day. Sharing his own in return, knowing you were clueless when it came to his job, though you tried your best to keep up with the different contracts. He’d relish in the feeling of your hands working through the curls of his hair while you read. Eventually working you up just to spend the night tangled in each other. These moments in bed with you were sacred to him and he hated missing out.
As much as he hated it, there was an upside. Every so often a job would run way later into the night than he’d intended. He’d come home exhausted wanting nothing more than to climb into bed with you. And it would be the same every time. He’d come home always to the porch light left on, to an otherwise dark and quiet house. He’d make his way to the bedroom as quietly as his heavy work boots would take him. There he would find you curled up in bed, wearing nothing but one of his shirts, softly snoring. A sight that never failed to melt all of the tension that had built up throughout the day. He’d strip and slide into bed, careful not to disturb you. The first few times he’d worried he’d woken you. But every time, without fail, as the bed shifted underneath you, you’d roll over wrapping your arms around his midsection. You’d pull yourself to him, pressing your chest against his back. Then almost immediately the gentle snores would return. Each time before he let himself drift off in your arms he’d bring your hand to his lips placing a few chaste kisses, snuggling into your grip.
You always woke before him. Normally coffee would be your first priority as you desperately tried to jumpstart on the day. Neither of you had ever been good at mornings. But after late nights you’d linger in bed waiting for Joel to wake up. It was a much needed slower start to the day for both of you.
He loved waking up to you still curled up next to him. In hushed whispers you’d fill him in on the night before. But his real favorite were the mornings, after he’d snuck into bed late the night before, where he’d wake to soft kisses and nips trailing down to his thighs. To you tugging at his cock, wrapping your mouth around him, and sleepily working him until he saw stars. It was never long until he’d flip you beneath him pounding into you and lazily toying with your clit until your were a writhing mess beneath him. Nothing beat those mornings.
He’d always profusely apologize about how late he’d gotten back and promise to try harder to get home at a reasonable time. You’d smile and tell him that it would happen again next week, but you love him, and didn’t mind the late nights. After all, it gave you an excuse to spend more time in bed with him.
While Joel hated being kept away by long jobs with late nights he loved the time it gave him with you more than anything in the world.

Hi, I was wondering if you could pleaseee do prompt 8 for a peeta x reader. I was thinking this would be set way after the second rebellion where it's basically just peeta and the reader left in district 12. thank you!
Prompt 8: taking care of each other when they’re sick.
Peeta would 100% be the sweetest when yo were sick!omg! Enjoy :)
Requests are open!! Please send them in!
Disease used to be one of the main causes of death in district 12, but now after the war it was hardly ever seen. There was nobody to catch or spread illnesses except you and Peeta.
The only reason you got sick was because you had insisted on staying out in the rain. It was grounding, like the only threat left was the deep rumbling of the sky.
“I knew you’d get sick.” Peeta spoke groggily as he woke up from your coughing. “I’m sorry.” You spoke and realised you even sounded sick.
“I’ll go make tea to clear your head.” Peeta stretched as he got out of bed, turning the bedside lamp on.
‘Peeta don’t be ridiculous it’s two in the morning.” You sounded terrible.
He waved a hand in dismissal and left the room forgetting to close the door behind him.
You fell asleep at some point, it must have been a while because the clock now read 4:30 and Peeta still wasn’t back yet. As if on que he walked into the room with fresh bread, chamomile tea and chicken soup . Which was accompanied by some cough syrup and wild flowers that he must have gone to pick.
You sat up. “peeta..” you felt like crying.
He climbed back into bed, kissing your head and cuddling next to you.
“You’re perfect. thank you.” You whispered. Dipping some bread I the soup.
“Anything for you.”
The rest of the day consisted of Peeta forcing you to stay in bed, he cooked more food and even called Effie to send you your favourite chocolate from the capitol.
“Peeta you’ll get sick.” You frowned pushing him away from your lips.
“Yeah I guess so..” he stepped back for a moment before tackling you and smothering you with kisses.
You looked at him with a disappointed look and he just smiled at you.
“Worth it.” He whispered as he kissed you again. You eventually couldn’t help but smile at his adorable behaviour
Sure enough by the end of the week he was sick too. “I told you so.” Was all you said when you woke up at 6AM because of his cough.
He looked much worse than you had. (Man flu obviously)
You made him his favourite foods- or tried to, you weren’t the cook in this relationship. You ran him a warm bath and washed his hair for him while you sang. You read to him as he fell asleep on your chest.
“I love you.” He mumbled as he drifted to sleep. You kissed him goodnight and when he woke up in the morning you had made him hot cocoa with orange sprinkles (his favourite colour). And built a fort around the bed.
He smiled when he saw you enter. “Now you can have fun without moving.” You smiled. To which he replied with a kiss.

Day 23 - 2 May Calzadilla de la Cueza to Sahagun 23km
Calzadilla didn’t have any redeeming features. The food was passable as is the place.
We woke quite early as those in rooms opposite were up and about before 6am. The room was unbearably hot (after all our moans about being cold) so I didn’t sleep. Hot house Carrie slept like a log! Carrie had lost a pair of her favourite socks - and thats all I heard about yesterday….they turned up in her rucksack 😂 It was like Christmas day…
We didn’t breakfast - just a quick coffee for me. I have a very sore blistered toe on my left foot so took a while to sort that out.
We have managed to get rid of all the food we bought two days ago in a panic over yesterday being a bank holiday. Result as our rucksacks were way too heavy with the extra weight of fruit/cheese/baguette etc.
Todays walk was tedious. The best thing about it was our stop in Ledigos where we had a freshly made omelette each. And I had tea in a pot! I remember reading a blog about how easy it was to get decaf tea out here. Forget it - I think I have found one place in 3 weeks that did it and I almost fell down in shock when they told me!
We saw a marker saying we were 373km from Santiago then a few kilometres further down a marker saying we were 391km! What we can say is we are now over the half way mark! Yippee….
We were surprised to see such a large group and thought it might be a tour group. Actually it turned out to be a school party. I did notice in Ledigos a pile of rucksacks with laminated labels - obviously a guided group having their bags moved. I think the big groups are creating shortage of accommodation on the Camino. Glad we have come on the cusp of this as we both think it will get worse.
Although only 22km the walk into Sahagun was again hard because it was frankly boring. It was cold and flat but without the beauty of the Meseta. Think the run up to Leon will be like this. I did like this metal sculpture though.
Our hotel is ok. I didn’t spend too much time looking for something better and it is abit soulless.
We showered and rested then headed out. Carrie and I have decided that Sahagun is over rated. I was very disappointed. I had chosen this historic town on the back of reviews etc. but frankly as Carrie put it ‘its like St Austell on a Monday night’! (Sorry Jane). Carrie had been looking forward to Sahagun due to a podcast she was listening to. And now we have a very gutted Carrie..
The highlight is we went to Santuario de la Peregrino to get our half way certificates. Not sure either of us fully realise the significance of it - its massive!
The Sanctuary was beautiful with Moorish influence in some of the artwork.
Photos of the amazing historical buildings around Sahagun but trust me - the photos make it look good! We did walk into one building and Carrie must have had her sympathetic face on because a very enthusiastic chap decided to tell her about all the historic buildings in Spanish. Ofcourse she understood every word!
We went into a number of restaurants to try and find a good one - but they were all pizza and game machine places. We bumped into Jenny and Mel and they took us to a hidden restaurant where we had had a glass of wine literally an hour earlier. It was Michelin noted 2018 and fabulous. The wall art was amazing - Casa Luis.
Now tucked in bed. We got back - I had to get them to put the heating on (its only 3 degrees outside) and then we had a nightcap…. 😄

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #58
It is 11PM where I live. But I am finally home. M and all our cats were waiting for J and I to return home. It's good to be back.
I ended up going to sleep very late the night before, and the sleep I did get was very broken. Then we woke up at around 6am. I have less than 6 hours of sleep, and over 7 hours of being in a car; it's hard to keep my eyes open as I write this. But I wanted you to know that you are being thought about by someone, somewhere. And I wanted to show you all the beautiful things I saw today. I'll leave pictures and brief explanations of them; I think that's all I can muster, because words are hard right now.
The hotel we stayed at in Pennsylvania had breakfast! I'll show you the lineup; you'll catch my reflection in some glass in one of these, if you look carefully:
Here's what the rest of the dining area looked like:
This is the plate I fixed for myself! I know it doesn't look fancy, but it's still very good:
This is the small table that J and I sat at to eat:
These flowers are made of cloth, but I still really liked how they looked as the morning sun splashed upon them!
Here are some pictures of the airplane that J examined after we were done with breakfast:
While J and the mechanics went over the plane, I decided to pass the time by finishing up weaving that tree. It's still amethyst on copper wire. Been working on this one a while now; good to finally have it done:
While weaving this tree, I was lucky enough to converse briefly with the pilot who is selling the plane. He has made a whole career of flying airplanes, and he has been all over the world! I felt very privileged to be able to listen to his stories and to hear him speak fondly on cultures that are very different from the dominant culture in the United States. It was very rare and refreshing; I feel like a lot of people in my country tend to look down on other cultures, and I feel very sad in response to that. I'm glad that this person doesn't turn his nose up at people who live differently than he does.
The plane that J examined was in good shape! I think he feels good about going with this one! I am excited for him, and I'm very proud of him for all the things he's had to overcome in order to get to the point where he felt he could do such a thing.
Before we left, I affixed this to the whiteboard at the airport over there:
It's just a very small thing. I imagine no one will pay it any heed. But still... if there's some way I can help you, any way I can help you to turn yourself around, to bring you safely home, to see a world in which you can have peace... I'll do whatever I can think of. But I'm not very smart, admittedly. So all my weird handicrafts, these letters, this request on your behalf... this is the best I have, at least for now. I'm sorry that I can't seem to do more.
...Still, I daydream sometimes of a world in which you have a quiet house to yourself, someplace where your friends can easily find and visit you if you want, but also where no one can bother you if you don't want folks to come around. A garden. Maybe some beekeeping equipment. A lake or ocean nearby if you wanna go swimming. A nice kitchen with a lot of space to prepare all sorts of tasty things. A spot to paint pictures. A spot to read wholesome things. Plenty of flavorful teas. Soaps scented with roses and vanilla. Fluffy towels. A nice big tub to soak in at the end of the day, if you want to - big enough even for you to stretch fully in and still be submerged. A toasty fireplace. Plenty of comfortable, but sturdy clothing, and warm, fuzzy pajamas. Soft beds and comfy pillows and weighted blankets. And a reasonably sized screen to put Mushi-Shi on (I think you'd like this series; very mysterious and awe-inspiring). Maybe a few cats, or dogs.
I dream of peace and wholesomeness for you. A life in which you don't have to fight if you don't want to. A life in which you are not commodified, objectified, and consumed by other people who care nothing for who you are, instead prioritizing whatever prestige that they think they can get from being in your presence. I can't even begin to imagine how stressful such a thing must be for you. I'd probably end up feeling overwhelmed and very lonely almost all the time in such a position. I'm sorry you had to deal with this for such a long time.
...In any case. I managed to snag this picture of the sky on the way back:
...But then it started to snow, and the snow chased us all the way back home. The scenery on the way looked like this the entire way back: whited out, blurry, and with poor visibility:
Though I couldn't get any good pictures of scenery for you, we did pass a lot of roadsigns with funny, interesting, or curious city names. Some of my favorites were:
Toftrees Waddle Altoona (this one is fun to say! "Al-tooooona!" give it a try, haha!) Sayre Tipton Hollidaysburg Gallitzin (is this the name of a city or a Pokemon? Haha!) Hollsopple McElhattan (mackel-hatten!! Dunno if that's right, but it's fun to say!) Waverly Lounsberry
...There were more silly ones. And a place called "Rubisch Road" that I laughed entirely too hard at because I pronounced it as "rubbish", even though it might be "roobish". J was very amused at my cackling! Ahahaha~!
We stopped for snacks at a Wendy's. It's a burger place that isn't especially high quality, but it's still pretty yummy! The employees in the back seemed stressed out, so after we put in our order, I made sure to meet their eyes and thank them. The one in the purple shirt got a great big smile on his face, and it was beautiful. It's important to treat people like people, especially when they're stuck for a long time doing a job in which most people talk down to them, berate them, refuse to acknowledge them, and generally fail to treat them like actual human beings. Service industry jobs like these are some of the hardest ones there are, so it baffles me that they pay so little.
When when we got our food, there was an extra order of fries. The manager, who had bangs dyed blue and a grin on her face said that there had been a "miscommunication", and somehow that led to us getting free fries, I guess??? I certainly won't complain, because they're pretty tasty!
We drove for a long time, and then we needed gas. So we stopped at a place called "Sheetz". I wanted to see what kinds of snacks they had, because snacks are essential for any road trip! And I ended up finding SOCKS!! Specifically, unicorn and rainbow heart print cozy socks!! I was not expecting that, hahaha! I took a picture of them after we got home. Here:
...You can bet that I'll be wearing different ones on each foot! Because that is how I do!!
...Fwhoof. It's really getting hard for me to formulate sentences and to keep my eyes open. I wanna write more to you, because I had so many more ideas, but... it's almost 12:30am now, where I live. I have to go to bed, or else I might turn back into a pumpkin (wait, what???)!!!
Hey, you. Don't forget, okay? You're lovable and worthy and good. And you gotta keep yourself safe and you gotta make it through the end of it all okay this time, or else lots of people are going to be really, really sad. Understand? Make good, kind, gentle, and peaceful choices so that you can come back home. We're all waiting for you. We're whispering little lullabies, just for you. You're not alone.
I'll write again tomorrow, as I always do.
Your friend, Lumine

SYPNOSIS:
Xielle, an active and famous girl who self destructed due to the unbearable agony of life of being in the spotlight where every move is being judged and criticized.
—
Chapter I
"Have you ever seen a supernova? It's beautiful isn't it?" The questions I always ask to people I've interacted with.
Their answers are either yes and no's following with reasons they could think and say.
What about me? Have i seen one? Yes, I've seen it, many times, even us explodes, even me. Now what's the connection of that with supernovas? We all know how supernovas are formed, it's when a massive star runs out of fuel, gravity taking over it then it self destructs and a rapid explosion happens. It also happens to all of us, we ran out of light and hope to living due to the pressure that was bestowed upon us and if we can't handle it anymore we self destruct, the difference is that we have types of self destruct. We have different pressures in life, we're our own stars, our energy and vibrance are our own treasure but what will happen if we lose it? Will we evolve into something good or bad? Supernovas are beautiful despite the sadness in chaos, So are we.
The thoughts surrounded my head as my eyes slowly gets heavy and i fell asleep.
I woke up the next day feeling still exhausted. It's Saturday.
My name is Xielle Voltaire, a Model and Musician. A College Student studying Bachelor of Science in Psychology here in France. Both of my parents are successful, now you're asking - why am I even complaining when i'm already living a luxurious life? Mind you, be careful of what you wished for, just because I live in this kind of life doesn't mean it's all about lavish and ease. I'm not bragging about our life because I aim to build my name not because my parents are successful and famous but because I've done something good that will spread and make my name known to people.
I got out of my bed and made my way to the bathroom and did all the necessary things a girl must do. While making my way to the kitchen I could feel my Father's cold gaze towards me, the maids greeted me and i gave them a smile and a nod bow as a greet back, I plan to make Lasagna today. My mom started to make her way towards me and "What are you making today sweetie?" She asked, I answered "Lasagna, would you both want some for lunch later?" I asked pertaining to dad as well, they both smiled and nod, to tell you they might be strict but they love pastas, "Oh and don't worry Mom I already ordered a Baguette so we'll have a garlic bread as side dish", my mom's smile widens and gave me a kiss and goes back to the table. They're taking their breakfast early as 6am while I'll just eat later since I don't really eat this early.
Two hours had passed and im done making lasagna and garlic bread then started to pack lunches for my parents. I asked our maids to bring it to them since they already left for work an hour ago. I checked my phone because it's been ringing notifications ever since I woke up.
Fuck, it's Louvière.
Louvière is my partner in crime, he's been with me since fetus. Reading thoroughly to his messages, he sure loves to curse when he's mad. Well i get it, he's time punctual after all, while scrolling I receive a call.
"Â𝘭𝘭𝘰 Louviè—"
"𝘛𝘰𝘪 𝘱é𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦! it's about damn time you answer!"
Damn talk about the temper.
"Listen Louvière, I—"
"No! Get your ass here now!" And ended the call abruptly.
I sighed and showered real quick and picked the outfit for today and drive towards where Louvié is. As I park my car I could see him from my side mirror approaching my car, I chuckled as i get my viola and get out. He's crossing his arms, eyebrows meeting and eyes squinted.
"Do you know what time is it?" He said.
I brought out the sweets i got for him as i was driving earlier hoping it would calm him down. I swear sweets works like magic to his temper because he quickly livened up as soon as he saw that it came from his favorite shop.
We then made our way towards the entrance of the building down to orchestra pit to practice our upcoming recital.
We were greeted by pairs of eyes as we made our way to the backstage, there's a lot of people watching us, all professionals and others are students. We quickly go to our designated rooms to prepare and practiced our created piece there before practicing it to the stage. The recital will be on Monday evening (after my class) and loads of people from different country, universities, and etc. Will come to watch and give a critique. Even my parents will be there. My Dad was the one who pushed this to me even if I didn't wanted to but i've come to sort of like it since I love music but I just hate the pressure he's giving me to be always on the top of everyone. Every note must be perfect, the movements or my fingers and flow of my arms should be smooth like water, and lastly the timing and mood, all of it.
Louvière is playing the piano for this recital. We're going vice versa as well. It's not just Violin and Piano that we know how to play, but also Guitar and Drums and Flutes. Louvière is a natural born musician, he devoted his life to music and the piece we're going to play is his own created piece, Inspired by Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy widely known as "Felix Mendelssohn", a German composer, pianist, organist and conductor of the early Romantic period.
We practiced for 30 minutes and later on fall in line towards the backstage to rehearse our event pacing and have the elderly professionals to criticize our performance so that there will be no errors when the event comes.
It was our turn and we positioned ourselves and started playing.
It lasted for about 10 minutes and the elderly professionals are clapping in satisfaction.
"𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵! 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘤𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦!" one of the professionals clapped and shouted.
Me and Louvière bowed gracefully and thanked the elderly and made our way out. Our coach is smiling wide as she greets us with joy in her eyes.
I was so exhausted from playing that I took out a smoke and ignited it. "Give me one too" Louvière said and I tossed him one with my lighter.
"Exhausting isn't it?" He asked.
"Yeah surely." I answered.
"Where are you headed after this?" his 2nd question.
"Model Runway"
"Oh yeah, tough luck you have, I'll go with you." And starts to pack our stuffs as he grabbed my arms to get up and we made our way outside the building and he asked his driver to drive his car back to their home and tossed the keys to his driver. He opened my passenger seat and put our stuffs on the backseat and made his way to drivers seat and speed drive towards the Runway.
"What's up, you look dead right now" he asked trying to initiate a conversation in the midst of our silence.
"Dunno" I responded.
We arrived at the Runway and there's a lot of people as well, Cameras everywhere and my mom greeting me. My mom's a professional model, who fucking else isn't professional in this family except for me yet. Louvié escorted me out of my car and walked me to my designated room.
— end of chapter 1.

angst prompt 9 with jonathan pls 🥺
Prompt:
I need to be with someone who actually wants me. And I know that's not you.
Jonathan byers x female!reader.
Jonathan likes someone else, and y/n can tell.
Liar Liar
It was 3am in the middle of winter. Y/n had her window open, looking out at the now falling snow. She hadn't been able to sleep, so instead she sat up in bed and read. When she saw the snow fall however, she wanted to watch.
Her elebows rested on the windowsill as she looked out past her neighborhood. It was cold enough for the snow to stick to the ground, and so in no time outside stayed to turn white. She had been up restless that night due to Jonathan. They had been together for 2 years now, since their Freshman year, but lately he's been acting different.
He's been distant, and he's been hanging around Nancy Wheeler, a lot. Y/n didn't think anything of it at first, Jonathan was allowed to have his own friends, but as time went on, she started to worry he liked her more than just friends.
She hadn't confronted him about this, she was too scared. She didn't want to be wrong, and end up jeopardizing their relationship even more, but at the same time this feeling gnawed at the pit of her stomach.
She took a deep breath before shutting the window in front of her and turning to her bed where she climbed back in and tucked the covers around herself. She closed her eyes, willing her body to finally fall asleep, to turn off these thoughts that went in an endless circle and just sleep. And eventually, it did.
She woke up the next morning at 6am to her mother calling from downstairs. She got up groggily from bed and slipped on some warm clothes for the now 2 inches worth of snow that accumulated while she slept.
School wasn't called off, it almost never is. And so when she went downstairs her mother had breakfast made, and after she finished, she heard Jonathan's car horn signaling his arrival outside.
He drove her to school every morning, despite anything else that may have been happening between them that always stayed consistent. "Morning", he says quietly, and Y/n can tell he's been experiencing his own insomnia. "Good morning" she says with a small smile and leans over to kiss him. He turns his head however, and she kisses his cheek instead.
"Let's go" he says with an awkwardly and Y/n nods, buckling her seat belt before Jonathan drives down the road slowly.
She sits through school as usual, her and Jonathan only had their last class of the day together, social studies. Despite that however, she can't help but have thoughts of him all day. She tries to confide in her best friend Robin during lunch, but it doesn't go to plan. "I don't know how mens minds work!" Robin said, her shoulders scrunching up as they do when she talks about this type of stuff. "I like women, I don't bother understanding the opposite gender" and with that, Y/n was left hopeless.
And to top it all off, when she went to history, Jonathan was no where to be seen.
After school she went out to the parking lot to Jonathan's car, ready to confront him about his absence, but when she got there she saw that Jonathan wasn't alone.
Nancy was standing with Jonathan by the back of his car, and before they could see her, Y/n went to the car over and listened in on their conversation. "Thank you for today, Jonathan" she hears Nancy say, and she can see the reflection of her smile in the glass. "It was no problem, really" he replied flustered, that smile Y/n loved so much flashing across his face. "So... I'll see you tomorrow?" She asks, and the boy nods.
Just as Y/n thinks she's about to leave however, Nancy goes on her tip toes and plants a kiss on Jonathan's cheek, causing his face to burn a shade of bright red.
Y/n feels tears come to her eyes, but she holds them back. As soon as Nancy is gone, she walks over to where Jonathan stands. He's still so awed by the kiss that he didn't even realize she came from the wrong direction. "Y/n" he said, smiling down at her, although she knew it wasn't a smile for her, it was from Nancy.
"Hey" she replied quietly, and Jonathan took her hands in his own. "Wanna come back to mine tonight?" He asked, and she looked up at him. Maybe she was wrong, maybe Jonathan did still love her? "I'd love to" she says with a smile, and Jonathan bends down and kisses her lightly on the lips before moving to the passenger door and opening it for her.
She gets in and watches as he goes around to the front of the car where he enters the driver's side. He starts the car and turns on the radio, tapping along to the beat on his steering wheel as they exit the parking lot.
Y/n still has hope as they pull into his driveway, however her dreams are crushed soon after.
They get into the house normally, Jonathan taking her coat at the door and telling her to sit while he gets them food. She takes her normal seat on his couch and turns on the TV, waiting for the boy to come back.
When he does, he's holding 2 sodas and a bag of chips. When he sits down, he places the bag of chips between them.
They switch through the channels until they land on some random game show, and Jonathan sits back ready to watch. Y/n however, turns to face him "So, what did you do today? You weren't in History..." she finally brings it up, and he looks over "Oh, uh.. I had other stuff to do" but Y/n isn't going to let go of it that easily.
"Oh" she says, "Like what?" And Jonathan takes a moment before turning his head towards her again, clearing his throat before speaking "Uh... I went out with Nance" he says. Nance. Y/n bites her lip to prevent the tears from forming in her eyes "Oh, so you and Nancy are good friends? Thats nice" She asks as casually as she can, but it seemed as though those were the magic words to make Jonathan open up.
Apparently he took it as an opening, that y/n was okay with it, because he opens up like a book and starts talking about Nancy like it's a middle school crush. "Yeah I mean she's just... she's really cool. And she knows what she wants, and she's determined and so thoughtful of the people around her, and when she's concentrating she does this cute thing where she bites her thumb" he imitates the motion and laughs, however when he looks over at Y/n, tears are openly coming down her face now.
"Y/n" he starts, moving immediately to comfort her. "Are you okay?" But she pulls away, wrapping her arms around herself. "You like her, don't you" she says, and Jonathan hesitates for a moment before responding "what, I no" he says, trying to touch her again but she pulls away and gets off the couch.
"Jonathan I saw you two together earlier!" She says, and his mouth drops "I saw her kiss you, and I saw the way you looked at her and I know that look Jonthan that's how you used to look at me" the tears are coming more than ever now, and Jonathan recollects himself, however he doesn't move to comfort her this time.
"Y/n, this is crazy" he says, motioning towards her "You're not denying it though, Jonathan! Because you know it's true" she responds, wiping the tears from her eyes as she recollects herself. "I love you" she says sincerely, walking towards him and looking him in the eye "But I need to be with someone who actually wants me. And I know that's not you."
Jonathan is left speechless as she moves away from him and towards the door, but at this he finally gets up to follow "Y/n, this is insane just come back we can talk about this" he tries but she shakes her head, pulling on her coat "There's nothing to talk about" she says with a sad smile, "I hope you're happy with her, Jon" and she exits the house, making new steps in the snow as she goes.

Tuna Oil
Kuroo Tetsurou x gn!reader
NEXT. ->
warnings: none! wordcount: 1.9k content: FLUFF!, genderneutral reader, neutral in skincolor descriptions and body type, meet cute, post-timeskip, canon compliant, mutual pining, chaotic meet cute, nerdy and chaotic kuroo! hes kinda lame here but i love him....., self-indulgent in a really soft way, prequel to my birthday fic to myself!, not beta’d
notes: SOOO. this is the prequel to Truffle Oil!! the story about carrot escaping!!! <:) i told you i’d write it! since its a prequel you don’t have to read truffle oil first<3 its going to be part of a series since i also plan to write the date after truffle oil! <3333 again, this is, like the first one, embarassingly fluffy and comforting! just kuroo being into you, basically!!
Walking around his apartment complex’s area with anxiety and a can of open tuna in hand is not how Kuroo imagined spending his Sunday afternoon. He woke up with his cat on his face, demanding breakfast by lieu of purring and aggressive headbutting at 6am. He’s still not sure how to explain the concept of weekends and sleeping in to his beloved feline. He then proceeded to have lunch with Kenma and on the way home he went by the store to buy more cat food for Carrot.
Which brings him here, the aforementioned feline. Kuroo lives on the third floor with a modest balcony that mostly consists of unopened bags of soil and empty pots. There’s a clasp on the door so he can keep it open for fresh air and his cat is, honestly speaking, a bit too round around his fluffy tummy to go through the opening – and has never shown interest in trying.
Or so Kuroo thought.
As he came home from the pet store, he found it odd that Carrot didn’t immediately greet him by the door as he usually does before showing Kuroo just how empty his food bowl is. A quick tour around the apartment with no apparent cat in sight had made his heart rate quicken and after the treats had been brought out from the cupboard and there still wasn’t any sign of four-legged fluffball, panic had set in – especially the second he saw his balcony door was wide open (how didn’t he notice sooner?)
The clasp had been lifted and unhooked and judging by the overturned plant from the windowsill next to said clasp, he had a pretty solid idea of who the culprit was. Running out to look behind the pots and soil bags but finding no Carrot left him with only one conclusion.
He’d jumped.
Three stories.
Carrot loves tuna. Kuroo isn’t one to give it to him because of the potential for mercury poisoning but the fear that Carrot’s afraid out there somewhere makes him grab a can from the cupboard before running down to the grassy area underneath his balcony.
And that brings him here. There’s no injured cat to be found in the nearby vicinity, to Kuroo’s relief but his anxiety gets no rest – where is he then? Kuroo’s making sounds, crouching by every bush, calling Carrot’s name, and has even resorted to take some of the tuna out on the ground to possibly lure him back – if his landlord sees this, there’ll be a scolding with his name on it.
“Are you okay?”
He’s startled out of his cooing by your voice and looks up at you rather dumbfounded. It takes him a few blinks to realize that yeah, his extremely beautiful next-door neighbor is talking to him.
You’re about to say something again when Kuroo rises back up on his feet, wincing from being bent down so long, “Carrot’s gone! My balcony door was open!” he exclaims, his usual reservations to social interactions being thrown out the window in his distress. You look taken aback and your eyes widen, “…Carrot?” you ask but a quick glance at the can of tuna in his hands and the cooing he was doing before you approached him makes you connect the dots, “oh, your cat? Want me to help you look?”
Kuroo’s heart rate once again quickens but for an entirely different reason. Now isn’t the time to be flirting he dumbly thinks, but you’re just so breathtaking. The few polite conversations you’ve had makes him lightheaded to just think about. Your laugh is the most captivating thing he’s ever heard and he almost wants to apologize to you for making you have such a worried expression on your face right now.
He nods, his jaw slack and eyes unfocused. You nod and raise your fists to your chest to show your enthusiasm and fight to find his cat.
“I’ll run up with my bag and groceries and then I’ll come back to help you search!” you say and he repeats his action from before – a nod. You put a hand on his shoulder, “don’t worry, we’ll definitely find her! I promise!”
And then you’re gone. It’s not until Kuroo’s been standing for a few minutes that he realizes your interaction with him. You’re going to help him find Carrot. You’re so kind he almost feels like crying, but that might just be because his emotions are a bit muddled by fear.
He gets out of his stupor and looks back around the area and spots a bush he has yet to look through and hurries over there to check for his beloved black menace. There’s no sign of him.
“Kuroo!”
His name is being yelled from above and he hurries to look up at you. Is he supposed to be reminded of an angel singing his name for him from the High Heavens?
“You better hurry up here!” you yell down to him.
“What?”
“I said, you better come up here!”
The elderly man from the second floor yells out some colorful swear words and tells you to shut up. You stammer out an apology and waves at Kuroo again. He hurries up the stairs to your shared floor and before walking to your door, takes a minute to get his breath. Admitting that youth has passed him and flying up three flights of stairs makes him out of breath is something that he begrudgingly has to accept – he might keep up a workout routine but his cardio isn’t like it was in high school.
He clears his throat and is about to knock on your door as you open it – which makes him hit you on the top of your head. Gently, luckily, but still not what he wanted to do. You bellow out a laugh and the panicked expression Kuroo is sporting morphs into a lovesick, lopsided smile. You then usher him inside and he is hit by the scent of your home.
Hinata once told him that every home has a scent that is distinctly theirs. He feels honored he’s allowed to experience yours as he takes his shoes off by your genkan. You giggle as you show him into your living room and point towards your couch.
“Is this her? I honestly thought she’d be orange, since you’ve named her Carrot but… I don’t have a cat, so I’m assuming?” you ask and as soon as Carrot spots Kuroo, he runs happily toward him from where he’s been lounging on the couch and rub himself up against his leg. Kuroo vaguely registers that you think his cat is a female but he’s honestly too relieved right now to care. You’re also looking rather ethereal right now with your hair in a slight mess and voice sounding out of breath – perhaps you too, ran out the flight of stairs to help him as fast as you could. The thought makes his stomach to somersaults.
He picks up Carrot and starts thanking you profusely, cradling his best friend in his arms. You laugh – oh, that beautiful laugh again, he thinks as his legs feel like jelly. You come over and scratch Carrot behind his left ear, “I have my balcony door wide open here in the summer, so she might just have jumped onto mine. I’m just glad she’s safe.”
Kuroo will never be able to recite what you said just now to anyone because he’s completely captivated by the gentleness of your touch on Carrot and warmth in your face. An innate need to cradle your cheek rises up in him, but he suppresses it and nods. He’s doing that a lot near you, he thinks.
You laugh, “after you’ve put her back into your apartment… do you want to have a cup of coffee? Or are you busy?” you bring your hands up in defense, “don’t feel pressured! You obviously have plans, don’t you? I apologize for asking so abruptly.”
He’s not sure why you’re suddenly so polite, bowing to him but he interrupts your panic-rambling with a smile and an affirmative answer, “I don’t have any plans.”
Carrot is reprimanded and put back in his home, the balcony door closed. He’s going to find a more secure solution before he leaves home with it open again. He takes a quick look in the mirror in the hallway and holds back a groan. His hair is even messier than usual with the amount of times he’s ran his hand through it today. There’s sweat stains in the armpits of his shirt and more than a few stains of oil from the tuna on it as well. He hurries to his bedroom to find a new, clean shirt. He also needs deodorant. And he needs to brush his teeth too. Maybe he should put some gel in his hair? He should change his pants too now that he’s at it.
He decides to call Kenma.
“Carrot escaped,” he starts before he winces, “he’s okay! He just went on a trip to my cute neighbor’s place. Through the balcony!”
“A hello would suffice for proper conversation,” Kenma just replies dryly but Kuroo can also hear relief from the second sentence of his phone call, “but I’m glad he’s okay. Didn’t you close the balcony door before leaving?”
“Yeah, the clasp was on but he got it opened. I think there might’ve been a bird on the balcony but luckily, he only walked past the minor fencing to my neighbor’s!”
“Oh yeah, you have joint balconies, right?”
Kuroo explains what has happened and Kenma is suddenly silent for a while. Kuroo assumes he might be playing a game and that’s why he’s quiet – maybe he’s fighting a boss. After a few more excruciating moments, Kenma speaks, “so they invited you to coffee and you agreed to come back right after you’ve put Carrot back? How long ago was this?”
“Shit!” Kuroo hangs up and runs to his closet for a clean pair of pants. He forgoes the deodorant, toothbrush, t-shirt and hair gel before he jogs through his apartment to his front door and out. He looks back at Carrot through the open door and point at him with a scolding expression, “no more adventures for you, buddy! You’re staying here!” He replies with a meow before Kuroo closes the door and walks to yours.
It takes a moment for you to open your door and as you do, you have your phone in hand, ending a call as you let him in. “I was starting to think you wouldn’t show up,” you laugh nervously and he winces, “I got sidetracked for a second putting the tuna away.”
You laugh, “oh, you spilled the oil putting it away?” you’re referring to his shirt and it’s only then he realizes that he forgot to change the one thing he should’ve changed. Kuroo can’t hold back his groan before running a hand through his hair, again, “I changed pants instead of shirt!”
You snort before it turns into a full-blown laugh and take some guest slippers out for him to put on. “The coffee is ready – I wasn’t sure how you take it though, so I’ve just put out everything.”
While Kuroo also thinks it’s a bare minimum when interacting with new people, his heart also warms up and soars at your thoughtfulness. He might’ve put you on a pedestal, his brain reminds him, but as you smile at him again and motion for the living room, all coherent thought goes out the window. He really, really likes you – and he thinks his cat escaping (and being safely returned) might’ve been the best thing that’s happened to him in a long while.

XI.
Suguru woke up around 6am. He figured you would be already out for your morning run and coming back soon for a shower and breakfast.
After making his bed and taking a shower himself, Suguru put on a pair of grey sweat pants and a black fitted t-shirt. His sleeve of tattoos partially exposed, his right arm covered in carefully designed Chinese, Japanese symbols, Nordic runes and dragons. Aside from the pleasant although chaotic aesthetic, the art work etched on his skin served as a form of seal or an amulet. Something to keep the darkness within in check.
He decided something simple was in order, knowing you, there wasn’t much that he could get away with making and expecting you to eat with your rigorous diet requirements. Scrambled egg whites with some parsley, cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper. For a drink he prepared a blend of that green juice you liked: with green apples, pineapple and celery.
The raven haired sorcerer set everything on the table and looked at his phone. I was 6:45am. You were already late. You usually were back home by 6:30am. Maybe you went out later and decided to extend your run. It was your free day after all.
Although… you usually made sure Suguru knew so he wouldn’t worry.
Grabbing his phone he texted you
***From: Sugu
To: Kitten 🐱
Breakfast is ready!***
Immediately he heard your phone go off in your room. Now, that was weird. You always took your phone with you to listen to music while working out. Did you perhaps sleep in?
Knocking at your door Suguru called “hey doll face! Are you awake?” No answer came back from the inside. He could not hear the shower running either. “Hey! I’m coming in” he announced but when he opened the door he found your room empty, your bed was still made and cold. Your phone on the night stand along with your apartment keys.
Fear coursed through his veins when he tried to check for your energy trail and found it long gone. You have been gone since last night.
“Fuck!” One didn’t need to be a genius to know Satoru had something to do with your disappearance.
Putting on his shoes he ran out the door. He had to find you before something bad happened. Gojo had not been in a good state of mind back in Japan, he didn’t even want to imagine what was going on in his head now that he had you so close. So stupid! Suguru should have kept a close eye on you instead of trusting that just because you were in the same apartment you would be safe from Satoru.
-
Your mouth was dry, your body overheated and sore. The sun hitting your face made you groan softly, you tried to turn around and continue sleeping but you couldn’t. Your body was trapped by heavy and strong limbs wrapped around you.
One pale and strong arm around your waist, the other supporting your head. Legs intertwined with Satoru’s. The platinum haired man laid behind you spooning you. He had you on a death grip.
Panic.
Last night came rushing altogether, with the frenzied memories of the passionate sexual encounter you and Satoru shared. And of course that had not been it, in the middle of the night he woke you up with tender kisses on your thighs and his head between your legs, setting aflame your senses over and over again; he wanted to have you once more. Second round lead to third and soon the sun was rising by the time your sweaty and exhausted bodies curled together to fall asleep in each other’s arms.
You moved as softly as possible, trying not to wake up the sleeping sorcerer who snored slightly on your ear. Removing his arm from your middle section was first, then you proceeded to try and detangle your legs from his.He groaned and you stopped moving, looking behind you Satoru merely adjusted in his sleep and continued snoring lightly, allowing you enough time to leave the bed. Your clothes laid destroyed and scattered all over the floor.
Swallowing thickly you decided to grab a pair of sweatpants and a long sleeved shirt out of Satoru’s closet. You had to get out of there. NOW!
Barefooted you left the suite and walked down the main hall hurriedly receiving weird stares from the people you crossed on your way out. Taking the elevator down your hands trembled. ‘Come on! Come on! Faster!’ mentally hurrying the elevator until you reached the lobby. As soon as that door opened you sprinted towards the main entrance where the hotel taxis lined up. You got in one and gave him your address.
The drive wasn’t long, when you made it home you told the cab to charge the ride to Gojo Satoru’s room. You didn’t have anything on you to pay. The kind looking old cab driver agreed and left.
You were about to walk in when Suguru came rushing out with a frantic look in his eyes. The moment he saw you his stomach tightened, you were dressed in Satoru’s clothes, barefooted, with your h/c hair disheveled and all the marks that covered your neck, visible through the collar of the shirt you wore. Your e/c eyes looked at him, rimmed with tears when you ran into his arms. Geto held you tightly for a moment giving you the solace you needed.
“Come on y/n… let’s go inside” he whispered on your ear guiding you back into the building and towards the elevator.
As soon as you made it up to your apartment you broke down. Suguru had to pick you up and take you to the couch where he held you in his arms
“What happened Y/N?” He asked dreading the answer. Had Satoru forced himself on you? He didn’t even want to think about it. If his best friend had done that… Suguru would find a way to kill him.
You shook your head and tried to calm down enough to speak but that didn’t happen for the longest time.
Finally when it seemed you cried a river you avoided Suguru’s eyes, looking down you said “I… fucked up… “ it was a small whisper “I slept with him” you admitted “he showed up here last night and warped us back to his hotel and then… everything got out of control” you avoided saying that Satoru had tried to force himself on you at the beginning. You didn’t want to make things worse than they already were.
“I’m sorry…” you mumbled before you broke in tears once more. Suguru and you were not in a relationship but a part of you felt you had betrayed the possibility of a future with him last night.
Suguru swallowed hard, he had no right to demand anything from you, it wasn’t your fault you were in love with Satoru and not with him. He still chose to remain by your side because he didn’t have the heart to leave you alone when you needed him the most.
-
Crystalline blue eyes opened, he stared at the ceiling of his hotel room before a hand searched the spot on the bed next to him. It was cold and empty. He sat up like a spring, you were gone “Y/N!…” he yelled but you were not there anymore “fuck!” When did you leave? You didn’t even give him the chance to explain, to talk to you about what he felt and what he was willing to do to get you back. He didn’t want you to think last night had been a one time thing nor an ‘exes fling’.
It seemed he couldn’t do anything right. Last night had been… magical for a lack of a better word. He felt your love in your kisses, your tender and passionate touch, in your arms he felt redeemed, when you allowed him to have you Satoru thought…. he hoped to be on the way to get you back. Despite his mistakes and his guilt you welcomed him inside you once more and gave him everything.
He didn’t want all those hours of love making and love promises to mean nothing. He had to talk to you and he had to be ready to accept whatever it is you were going to say.
Grabbing the shreds of your clothing from the floor he inhaled deeply finding your lingering scent on them. Once more, the fact he almost forced you stabbed his chest with a piercing pang of guilt. Last night had been fueled by his jealousy. But when he realized what he was doing he changed his behavior and instead chose to show you how much he loved you, how much he needed you in his life.
Something in him was changing. Last night he opened his eyes to the monstrosity he was capable of committing. It wasn’t right to do this to you. He was inadvertently destroying the shards of your relationship.
A revelation washed over him like a bucket of cold water
He had to be willing to lose you if he wanted a chance to get you back. It had to be your choice. He couldn’t rob you of your autonomy just because he was going to lose his shit if you chose to leave him for good.
It took a few hours of getting ready mentally and preparing himself for what he was going to say to you. He wanted to talk to you and explain that what happened last night meant everything to him, he wanted to open his heart and lay it at your feet. He was afraid of what he was going to encounter. Will you reject him and tell him it was a mistake? Will you still push to go through with the divorce?…. Will you give him a chance to prove to you he was truly remorseful and willing to make changes to get you back?
He warped outside of the door of your apartment and rang the bell.
-
Suguru opened the door to see Satoru standing on the other side. His anger and frustration got the best out of him so he threw a punch that incredibly connected with Satoru’s cheek. The white haired sorcerer tumbled backwards but didn’t fall on the floor. He chose not to use his infinity on purpose, he owed that one to Suguru.
“What do you want now Satoru?” Asked his best friend while standing in front of the door, his frame blocking the access.
“Can I… talk to her?” Gojo asked in a tame tone, he didn’t come here to make demands, he wanted to fix things once and for all.
https://youtu.be/DGxHSt8gRkY
youtube
“I’ll talk to him Sugu” Your voice came from behind. Geto turned around to look into your eyes, doubt plagued his expression. He wasn’t certain it was the best thing right now. But before he could protest you continued “I’ll be alright… I have to do this…” squeezing his arm trying to comfort him Suguru sighed and nodded “I’ll be in my room if you need me” shooting Satoru a last warning glance he left walking down the hall.
|||
See you've been changing, baby
In good ways and bad ways
Can't say what I say, it's far too late
And I think you made me, baby
Made me too nervous
Crying and this hurt and I gotta tell you why
|||
“Come in…” Satoru followed you into your living room “y/n… I… I am sorry…. “ you were about to interrupt him but he lifted one hand asking you to wait “please let me say this..” agreeing you let him continue.
“I am sorry for all the pain I put you through, it was selfish and stupid. I never loved Sookie, it was always you. The only woman in my heart. And I know this sounds like a stupid excuse but it’s the truth. “ taking a deep breath he steeled himself for the next part. You were going to hate him but he had to come clean
“I was an idiot… I thought, before Sookie… I thought that maybe I was not really in love with you…. That… if I met someone else I wouldn’t feel this need… this terrifying addiction I feel for you… I was wrong. Everything intensified tenfold, I realized I love you more than anything in the world… more than myself. I wanted to fix everything but… it was too late because the damage had been done” swallowing hard Gojo continued “I failed you… as a husband, I know it has no forgiveness and yet… I cannot even start to think of a life without you in it. My days are miserable without you. I can’t sleep, I can’t think, I can’t function like a fucking normal person without you Y/N.
It hurt so much to hear his words. It made you feel like all the promises, all the love confessions he made before convincing you to marry him were lies. Why did he ask you to marry him in the first place if he wasn’t sure he loved you? What kind of sick game were you to him?!. You had to make a conscious effort to not sob. Biting your lower lip, forcing the tears to remain contained.
Almost as if he was listening to your thoughts Satoru continued “I fell in love with you the first moment I saw you Y/N. When I held you in my arms that night outside of the ballet studio in Tokyo, when I pulled you away from that car… I loved you. I just…. Was too stupid and too selfish to admit that to myself” he took a step closer and held one of your hands “I’m sorry it took so long for me to realize you were… you are all I need. Please Y/N, please forgive me. I can’t live like this anymore. The guilt and despair are consuming me alive” he said in a broken whisper. “last night meant the world to me… baby, I love you so much…” continued looking into your eyes with his azure orbs while he held your hand.
This was too much to handle…
It was one thing to think Satoru fell out of love and that’s why he found someone else. But it was another completely different to hear he had not even been sure of his feelings for you in the first place.
Pulling your hand away you couldn’t control the tears that escaped your eyes, like translucent cascades, pouring the pain you felt “leave….” You whispered looking at the floor.
“Y/N…. Please don-…”
You cut him “LEAVE!” A firm yell came out; half broken, half desperate. “You… you lied to me! All these years! Y… you lied to me! “ the statement was like a dagger straight to his heart. Spoken in a painful tone. He wanted to explain further but you cut him “I heard what you had to say now let me be…” the glacial tone in your voice froze the blood in Satoru’s veins. Your eyes hardened inclemently as you regarded this man who you once thought was the beginning and end of your life. You really couldn’t see the man you fell in love with in him. Not anymore.
|||
Said I can do this all night, baby
Said I was actin' out of line, maybe
Can't put my trauma to the side
When you told me I was lyin'
Had me feelin' like I died, baby
I seen a grown man cry, baby
Just see you do it, ain't special, no
|||
“Y/N..” absolute terror transfixed Gojo’s handsome features. Tears of despair running down his handsome pale face. Your aura was so cold and distant. He had never seen you like this before. “Please Y/N… I-…”
“I said… leave! And don’t come back. I am done with you. Good bye Satoru…” you turned around and walked away, disappearing behind the door of your room.
|||
And I know it might mess you up
Hatin' me ain't gon' get you love
Ain't nobody gon' set you up
I ain't even gon' sweat you, love
And we'll never be friends like this
God couldn't forgive like this
Way I really went in like this
Thank God I ain't been like this
|||
Suguru heard the loud exchange and came out. He couldn’t help but feel conflicted about his best friend. On one hand he was mad at him and wanted to kick him out himself, but seeing his desolate face as he stared at the closed door of your room made him feel bad for him. ‘You dug yourself in this hole my friend’ was all he could think “I think it’s best if you leave now Satoru..”
Gojo’s eyes were stuck on the door behind which you disappeared, his lower lip trembled, his hands shaking with anxiety, his heart contracting painfully in his chest, suffocating him. He needed.. he needed you but… you didn’t want him there. He wanted to say fuck it and steal you once more but he couldn’t solve things that way. No, you deserved more… better.
Without another word he warped away.

Stalker Nagito Komaeda x Milf!Reader
this was requested via my twitter:
“Hey! i’ve seen your works and I’m in love. Can I request smut where a stalker Nagito Komaeda becomes obsessed with a milf reader who moves into the neighborhood who’s like a dom in bed and ya know just large bust and taller than him. Thank youuu🤍”
a/n: ofc. but I have my own idea of a dom which i’ll use involving certain things (heed warnings)
warnings: he is so obviously a virgin in this, degradation, slight masochism, asphyxiation, spit, also Nagito calls the reader mommy (side note: nagito is in his early 20s in this, he lives alone. age of reader isn’t specified BUT I say she’s in her late 20s/early 30s)
• • •
It was a bright day...which Nagito despised. It was summer. He hated the sun, hated the mosquitoes, and the unnecessary humidity. It was days like these he wishes he was back at his university dorm. The A/C, the tall tree covering his window and blocking the sun...it was perfect. Hell, he didn’t even hate classes. Yet, he couldn’t live in the dorms forever. When it came time to buy a home, he stupidly did so in fall, moved in during the winter.
Well, no shit the home seemed perfect then. It wasn’t fucking summer. His A/C decided to break, his windows has a great view of the sun, and most of his friends were out of town (all except Hajime, but Hajime is fucking boring and a bummer). Nagito sat on his couch, watching reruns of old tv shows. He took a sip from his nearby glass (cold water), suddenly hearing sounds of what appeared to be a loading van. He looked outside his window.
A moving van?
Right, that one old man who lived there passed away. Freak accident, by the way. Oh well, may he rest in peace. Meanwhile, Nagito was being himself and trying to see who it was. Pretty much, the dude was being nosy. He saw another car pull up. That must’ve been the family’s car. Out jumped 3 kids, what appeared to be 2 girls and 1 boy. An adult stepped out. Nagito decided he’d get a better look at the situation. He put on his shirt, black jeans, and his green hood.
He was “going for a walk”.
Without being noticed, he made his way to the other side of the street. It was a woman, she was taking boxes out of the truck. The minute Nagito saw her it was if he was stricken by Cupid’s arrow. She was tall and beautiful. Her skin complimented her hair and her legs, he couldn’t take his eyes off them. Her breasts...he needed to stop—
“Hi!”
She was in front of him, a warm and inviting smile on her face. “H-Hi,” he muttered. She didn’t hear him well, so it helped that he waved. “I’m new in the neighborhood. We just moved in,” she added, putting the box down. She stuck her hand out, going for a handshake. He shook her hand, her warm hand against his cold ones. Why are his hands always cold? “I see,” he responded, getting his shit together,“I’m Nagito Komaeda. I live across the street”. She introduced herself and complimented his house.
“What a lovely home. I hope the neighborhood is just as lovely”
“It should be. It’s pretty quiet. There’s not many families here. Say, can I help you pack?”
“You’re too sweet! I’d really appreciate it”
He helped take all the boxes in her home, helping load a couch too, and help with other large objects. They finished in 9 hours, taking a majority of the day. “Thanks for helping out, Nagito”. She made a lemonade, handing him a glass.
“Don’t mention it! Also, thank you”
One of the kids ran in the living room where they sat on the couch. He gasped when he saw Nagito. “Mommy! That man looks dead!!!”. Nagito smiled, but his mom was not amused. “Michael! Apologize..”. The kid kept smiling and said,“Sorry!”. He ran to another room. “I’m so sorry,” she muttered. Nagito shook his head.
“Hey, I’m rather malnourished”
“Ha. On an unrelated topic, are you hungry? I could make us something”
“Oh, I shouldn’t linger any longer. I wouldn’t want to disturb your husband”
She laughed. “I know you mean no harm, but I’m not married,” she added. “Oh,” Nagito muttered,“I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean it in any way”. She shook her head and reassured him it was fine. “Sit, Nagito,” she pulled out a chair,“I’m not letting you refuse having dinner with us. Especially since you were such help”. She rubbed his back before heading back into the kitchen to begin cooking.
She made him a bowl of pasta, adding chicken on the side. Nagito was quite happy. He hadn’t eaten a good meal in so long. Her kids didn’t eat at the table, but on the counter. Meanwhile, she ate with Nagito. Just as Nagito thought he couldn’t grow fonder of her, he did just that. All she did was let him talk about himself.
“Jesus, I’m sorry about your parents? How are you keeping yourself afloat with university and expenses?”
“Academic scholarships”
“Wow, you’re such a smart boy”
The way she phrased it made him flustered. “Thank you for the meal, ma’am,” he muttered,“I haven’t eaten like this in who knows how long”. She smiled tenderly, picking up his empty plate. “Seconds?”. He shook his head.
“No, thank you. I’m already so full”
“I’m glad. You know, there’s always a meal for you in store if you can do me a favor”
“What’s that?”
“My oldest daughter has her final test this week. You think you can help her study? I’ll make you a nice, warm meal every time you come over”
Nagito thought about it. He would also have time around her. Plus, she wasn’t a bad cook. “Of course, I look forward to it,” he told her. “Lovely”. He got up and excused himself to go home. “It was nice having you over, Nagito,” she said softly. He could tell she was getting sleepy. When people are tired, Nagito has noticed that their tone is rather sheepish. She walked him to the door, ruffling his hair playfully and he blushed. “Goodnight, neighbor”.
“Goodnight, you”
Before he left, she stopped him and handed him a paper: (xxx) xxx-xxxx ♡
“Call me when you get home so I have your number saved. Then, I can call you when my daughter, Vanessa, needs help. Take care, okay?”
He nodded.
She closed the door, his thoughts racing on his way home. He picked up some things about her, things she didn’t even tell him. He went home and opened a notebook, writing all of it down. He called her and she answered, her voice as sweet as when he left (only sleepier). “Hello?”. His breath was heavy without realizing it as he spoke. “H-Hey, you told me to call you,” he breathed,“It’s Nagito...Komaeda”
“Oh, hey, angel! I’m not interrupting anything am I?”
“What? No, it’s all good— why’d you think so?”
“You sound like you need to catch your breath, but anyway, thanks for calling me. I’ve saved your number now”
“Oh, great! Well, if that’s all, I’ll let you go to bed now”
“It was. Goodnight, Nagito”
“G-Goodnight”
He hung up, flustered more than ever as he continued to jot down his thoughts on paper. The next day, he woke up at 6am to wait in his car. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but he couldn’t help it. At around 7:41am, his front neighbor and kids headed for their car. Nagito, who had taken a light nap in the driver’s seat, was awoken by the car starting. He waited for the car to drive away just slightly past his house to start his own car, slowly tailing behind her.
He dropped her kids off at the nearby elementary. She got off, kissed them on their forehead (all minus the eldest, who walked swiftly through the gates). Seeing how she cared for them made Nagito feel bad, but all he did was brush that feeling off. Next, he followed her through her daily. As he did, his notes from last night echoed through his mind, adding new detail.
“She works at an office not everyday She doesn’t have allergies but is sensitive to dust Red seems to be her favorite color but always in a darker shade Her daughter is around 10 years old She isn’t vegan but enjoys almond milk Maybe has an issues with abandonment but I can’t assume that either She buys many apples but not the same amount of bananas at the store so maybe she only eats the bananas—”
Just more to add to his notebook.
He got home before she did, writing down what he had learned. His phone rang about an hour later of him getting home. He picked it up,“Hello?”. “Nagito, hi!”. It was her. He started having a mini-panic attack, because why would she be calling him? “H-Hey, how are you?”
“I’m doing alright. I was wondering if you could come over and tutor Vanessa”
Oh, thank god.
“Yes, of course. I’ll be down there right now”
“Great. See you then!”
He was relieved, heading to her home happily. He knocked on the door. When she opened it, she did so with the same warm smile as yesterday. “Thank you for coming over,” she said,“She’s in her room”. Nagito nodded, freezing when she grabbed his hand and took him to the room. Her touch was so soft, noted. They got to the room, where a girl was reading a book on a desk. “Nessa?”. The girl turned around.
“Nagito is going to be here for a few hours to help you out with homework and studying. He’s really smart, so pay attention and be respectful”
“Okay, mom”
She nodded, squeezing Nagito’s shoulder before leaving. Nagito approached the girl, she took her things out. Before he could speak, she stopped him. “Please don’t call me ‘Nessa’,” she whispered,“It’s bad enough my mom does, but not you, Please”.
“Don’t worry. I wasn’t planning on referring to you at all”
“Bastard”
“Nessa”
“I guess I walked right into that one”
Nagito laughed, grabbing a chair and sitting next to her. Her work wasn’t what he expected. Is this what they’re teaching kids now? He could’ve sworn he hadn’t seen this type of stuff until he hit middle school. It wasn’t anything he couldn’t do, but damn. All in all, tutoring went well. Vanessa actually learned something today. “Good job!,” he said. “Thank you,” she smiled and hugged him,“I felt so stupid”.
“Hey, its okay not to understand things”
Her mom walked in. “Dinner’s ready”. Vanessa got up and went to the kitchen. “How’d it go?,” she asked Nagito. “Went well, she gets the math now,” he answered. She smiled, thanking him for his help and asking him to join them for dinner. He’d be foolish not to, so he accepted the invite.
Fish tacos were served tonight with rice and beans, another lemonade made. It was different than anything Nagito had ever had, but that doesn’t equate to bad. He actually enjoyed the meal. The kids sat at the main table today, much more respectful than yesterday. “Michael how was school?”. He put a thumbs up, getting back to eating. “And Adrianna?”. She looked up from her meal and shrugged. “What’s wrong?”.
“I’m tired, but class was okay”
“Oh, okay. When you’re done, just take a quick shower and get to bed”
“Thanks”
Nagito thought it was endearing. Seeing how understanding and loving she was, it was refreshing. The kids all eventually left, Nagito finishing his meal. “Did you like it?”. He looked at her, nodding. “Great! Seconds?”.
“Full again. I don’t usually eat, but your food is always so good”
“Oh, you’re just saying things...”
“No, really! Thank you”
He said his goodbyes to the family, walking back home. It was as if he was falling for this woman more and more everyday. He went to sleep, this time dreaming of her. He never dreams, but this time he dreamt she was on her knees for him. Then, nothing else. It was as if his dream teased him.
The next morning, he woke up to some knocking on the door. He looked at the time. 8:23am. He put on a pair of jeans and his shirt, walking to his door. He opened it and there she stood, wearing a black dress and red heels. He assumed she had work and needed a favor before going. “Good morning,” he said.
“Were you following me yesterday?”
Shit.
“I, uh...,” he didn’t know what to answer. He was indeed following her yesterday. He also liked her, so if he straight up said that he was to following her, it’d ruin things. His face was glowing a shade of pink to a slight red as he thought of the right answer. He was still stumbling over his words. “I think it’s kinda cute,” she added. The fuck? “Huh?”. She pushed him inside the house, closing and locking the door behind him. “When a boy follows someone around, it’s because he wants something,” she added, but her tone was so sultry,“Well, Nagito—”. She pushed him onto the couch, leaning in front of him with her hands on his chest.
“—What do you want?”
None of what was happening felt real. Nagito couldn’t find the words to express what exactly he wanted. This was the first time he’d ever been in a situation like this, it wasn’t a bad one either. He began to panic when she straddled him. “Could it be that you wanted me?,” she asked. He frantically nodded and she laughed as she locked her lips with his. He gasped against her lips, kissing back. She slowly trailed her kisses down to his neck, cupping his jaw while grinding on his lap. Nagito moaned, his shaky hands grabbing her ass. She grabbed his hands and put them away from her. “It’s cute that you’re getting this carried away”.
“I’m sorry”
“No time to apologize. Get on your knees for mommy”
Nagito was about to lose his mind when she said that, but he obeyed. Her presence was domineering as he stood on his knees against his carpeted floor. She spread her legs, noticing Nagito desperately trying to get a look. Her red heel stopped him, stepping on his head lightly. “Am I teasing you?,” she asked,“It’s okay to be honest”.
“Y-You are, but its okay. I want to be teased by you”
“You’re adorable,” she took her heel off his head,“Let’s go to your room”.
He practically ran to his bed. He sat and waited patiently. She entered the room, heading to his bed. She began to take off his shirt, admiring his frame. She then unbuckled his belt and unzipped his jeans. He kicked them off and sat down. She sat next to him. “Give me your hands”. She held them, frowning slightly. “Boo, they’re so cold,” she teased,“I’ll warm them up for you”. Carefully, she grabbed his left hand, putting his middle and ring finger in her mouth. She licked to his fingertips, leaving him tense and speechless. She stopped and smiled at him.
“This is your first time, isn’t it?”
He nodded shyly. “Don’t be shy,” she said,“I’m going to guide you, but I’m also going to have my fun”. He gulped, nodded. She stood up and removed her dress. She wore a lacy black bra and panties. She brought his hands to her breasts, allowing him to fondle them. They were huge in his hands. “You like them, baby?”. “Y-Yes,” he muttered,“Can you, uh, take....the bra off?”. He was ashamed when asking, he felt desperate. She smiled and nodded, unhooking it and allowing the bra to fall to the ground. He gasped at the sight of her tits, grabbing them. She straddled him.
“Do you know what to do with them?”
He nodded, rubbing one and sucking the other. She moaned sweetly, grinding on his lap. He popped his mouth off them. That was when she took the opportunity to knock him onto the bed. She began to make out with him, shoving his tongue down her throat. They lay sideways. Her hand was on his neck, slightly choking him. He couldn’t resist but try to grind on her lap. She laughed. “Look at you,” she mocked,“Humping my leg like a desperate little puppy”. She didn’t let him speak, sitting up and pushing him back down. “I’m going to give you what you want,” she whispered in his ear,“Take your cock out”.
He was nervous as he did, hands shaky. She blushed a bit at his size. “It’s so big,” she said, straddling him,“I’m going to have my way with it”. “Please, do what you want to me,” he begged,“Abuse me, please”. She didn’t speak, sinking down on it. Nagito gasped, she was extremely wet. She began to bring her hips up and land straight down on it, repeatedly. She put her hands around his throat, now being rougher. Nagito gasped for air, grabbing her hands.
That was a mistake.
“Hands down,” she ordered, striking him across the face. “Sorr-”. He was slapped once again. “Only speak when you’re spoken to”. He nodded as his stomach began to cave in. His cock twitched each time she slapped him, making her moan. She leaned forward, capturing his earlobe between her teeth. He winced, his hands tangling in the sheets. He felt as though his entire body was blushing.
“You’re so sensitive there”
She teased him, kissing the skin and nibbling. His hips involuntarily snapped upward, making her whine. “You’re so desperate, baby,” she laughed,“it’s so cute”. He could feel her warmth running along his cock. He bit into his hand, trying to stop himself from cumming inside her. It worked, but she didn’t like him doing that. She grabbed his hands and kissed them.
“Don’t hurt yourself, put them right here”
She placed them on her boobs. He watched them bounce up and down, grabbing them gently. His rather large hands seemed small on her tits. He was extremely flushed. He took them off her and placed them on her hips. “Open your mouth”. He lay back more and did as he was told. She leaned forward, grabbing his jaw again as she spit into it and kissed him. He moaned when she did, his urges getting the best to him and thrusting upward. He hit her cervix every time, causing her to produce the sweetest and sluttiest of moans. Her walls tightened around him and now he was whining. “Are you gonna cum, honeybun?,” she asked.
“Y-Yes..”
“Where do you wanna cum?”
“I wanna cum...everywhere. I want it. I want it so bad. I wanna cum inside and on your tits, on your ass, y-your face..mouth. Please let me cum, mommy”
She motivated him, riding him harder. “Come on, Nagito,” she whispered,“Cum for mommy. Cum all the way inside her”. He lost his mind after that, groaning as he shot his load(s) inside her. He was still inside her as he tried catching his breath. She rubbed his chest, shushing him. “Good boy, you did so well,” she cooed,“Such a good boy.” He was covering his face, embarrassed and still hard. “I wasn’t too rough, was I?,” she asked. He shook his head, thinking,“Not rough enough”. He whined when she got off, revealing he was still erect. She noticed.
“You wanna go again, baby? Kids don’t leave school till 2:30. We have time for an extra fuck”
“C-Can I?”
“Yes, dummy”
She let Nagito choose how to fuck her. He wanted missionary, mostly because he craved intimacy and she did not disappoint. She kissed and praised him, telling him he was good. She held onto him the whole time and cuddled him afterwards. Nagito felt so special, he felt loved. “I can come over when I don’t have work,” she said,“Would you like that?”.
“I’d love that actually”
“You make me happy, Nagito. I could stay here and cuddle all day”
“I feel so lucky”
He yawned, looking at the clock. “Its 10,” he told her. She nuzzled his chest, humming. “Mmmm, let’s take a small nap,” she whispered,“Okay?”. “Okay”. He kissed the top of her head and held her to him, slowly joining her in slumber.

Long hoe story! My 21st bday was wild — I was living in Paris at the time and stayed out for over 24 hours. Pregamed at my German friends apartment before the whole group went to a club/ship on the Seine that sets sail for like four hours. I had actually been to that one before and that previous time had gone home to sleep with a dude from Mexico who was also studying abroad, but this time was my bday. I drank so much lol but before the boat docked again I somehow got into the VIP section and one of the bartenders hit on me hard. He gave me a really strong drink and invited me to come with him and his friend to another club in Pigalle. I lost my friends and went with this guy and somehow got to this underground queer club at like 2AMish and it was incredible, all dark with red lights and really old molding on the walls and super high ceilings since it was probably like an old theater or something. The bartender I went with brought me around the whole place and introduced me to all his friends and then he went into the bathroom and came back out and handed me a tiny baggy. It as K and i went in myself and did a bunch, which was my first time. I was so high after that it was beautiful. I ended up losing this guy but magically found myself surrounded by a friend group of shirtless guys from Egypt here on business. I connected with one of them and we danced the rest of the night, and he wanted me to come back to his hotel. But I remembered the bartender dude had my ticket for the coat check!! I somehow fucking found him again and awkwardly asked for my ticket back and he was really annoyed I wandered off and now was leaving with another guy but he gave it to me anyhow. I left the club at around 5:30-6AM and made out with the Egyptian dude on the metro on the way back to his apartment. I was still so high I didn’t care if old French ladies saw us that early in the morning. >;-) We went back to his hotel, drank a bit more and had sex — his hole was so smooth, I ate him out in his bathtub for so fucking long. I will never forget Mohamed, I hope he’s okay. We drank and passed out and after we woke up in the later afternoon, went for sushi and wine around 7PM and I went home to my apartment afterwards. Best birthday ever. :-)
Happy birthday you nasty hoe! Let's hope for another one of these nights 😅 I got out of breath just reading this lmao

Good Morning
After five orgasms, you decided that you were finally satisfied and, following almost five hours of passionate sex with a pizza delivery in between, you allowed Cillian to get some rest at about 1am. You figured that, after all, he’s more than double your age so sleep was probably something he needed more than you.
Regardless of your young age, you thought that you would both be exhausted the following morning but, that night, you could barely sleep.
You were ravaged with energy and wild thoughts about the man lying next to you.
Never, even in your wildest dreams, would you have imagined your first time being anything like this. Passionate and full of desire.
Your friends had all told you horror stories about their first times so you were positively surprised. It was pure pleasure and you didn’t want Cillian to stop making love to you and send waves of energy through your body.
After that, whilst you were incredibly satisfied, you were also incredibly sore. It’s not that Cillian hadn’t warned you about that. But you kept insisting on him giving you more and more and now you were clearly paying for it.
Cillian, on the other hand, was fast asleep. His body was certainly relaxed and comfortable. Not even a bolt of thunder could have wakened him after your fun filled activities. He didn’t even have to time to worry about how you would explain your absence that night to Emma when she found out.
You no longer worried about it. Emma still thought that you were seeing Finn despite you telling her that you weren’t. She didn’t believe you.
At about 6am you could not lie in bed anymore and decided to walk downstairs to get some coffee for you and Cillian.
You quickly wrapped your dress around you and borrowed one of Cillian’s jumpers to walk downstairs. The jumper was black and simple with a hood. It was an Irish clothing brand of some sort and you loved the smell of his aftershave on it.
The hotel restaurant just opened but, to your surprise, you weren’t the only one in need for coffee.
There was Anthony, the show’s director, getting ready for work while enjoying his cappuccino.
‘Nice outfit Y/N’ he laughed as you walked into the restaurant. You clearly looked out of place wearing a dress, sandals and oversized hoodie.
‘Oh thanks. I thought I would change things up a bit. I’ve heard it’s trendy now’ you giggled as you stood there, sore and noticeably uncomfortable.
You ordered two coffees, one double shot espresso and a latte.
‘Double Shot Espresso? Is that for you?’ he laughed. It was an unusual order and he only knew one other person on set who was ordering coffee as strong as this and that person was Cillian.
‘Uhm no’ you said shyly, hoping for no further questions from Anthony.
‘Jesus, Emma must have had a big night with her sister in town then’ he said before he excused himself to make his way to set.
You couldn’t help but giggle at Anthony’s comment and, shortly after you got your coffees, made your way back up to Cillian’s apartment.
You put his jumper back onto the chair and woke him up by giving him a kiss on the cheek.
‘Good Morning Sleepyhead’ you said as you put his coffee onto the bedside table.
‘Hey, good morning’ he said, rubbing his eyes. He instantly smelled the coffee and, after giving you a kiss, reached for the cup on the bedside table.
‘Thank you’ he said gently before asking you how you were feeling.
‘A bit sore’ you said with a smile on your face.
‘I am sorry’ he said like a true gentlemen before pulling you closer for another kiss.
After you had your coffee and spent some time making out with Cillian you made your way back to your apartment to have a shower and get changed.
Emma had already left for set and you were glad for it. You didn’t really want to explain yourself.
One part of you hated having to keep your relationship with Cillian a secret while the other part of you believed that, for the moment, it was defiantly the right thing to do.
On Set Dilemmas
Later that morning, on set, Emma met with Anthony before her scene with you.
Before you arrived, they had the opportunity to make some small talk and Anthony couldn’t help it but mention the coffee order you placed at the hotel restaurant at 6am.
‘That espresso obviously got you going Em’ Anthony laughed as Emma came walking towards him full of energy, building up some exhaustion for her next scene.
‘Espresso? I don’t even drink coffee’ she laughed.
‘You don’t? Now that is interesting. I walked into Y/N this morning buying you an espresso’ he said.
‘Y/N?’ Emma asked, before starting to laugh.
‘What’s so funny?’ Anthony asked.
‘Y/N has not been home. The coffee wasn’t for me’ Emma laughed.
‘Oh right, gotcha. Who’s the lucky guy?’ Anthony asked.
‘I think it’s Finn, but I cannot be certain’ Emma said with a giggle.
‘Finn? Yeah, I can see that’ Anthony smiled before he saw you approach him and Emma.
Anthony quickly changed the topic and began talking about the scene between you and Emma.
It took two takes to get it right and Anthony was quite happy with both of your progression.
The next week went uneventful and Cillian kept his distance from you on set. You didn’t have many scenes together during this time.
Nonetheless, you managed to sleep over at his apartment twice during this time raising Emma’s suspicions even further.
Cillian knew that some people on set were thinking that you were involved with Finn and it didn’t bother him until Finn finally found the courage to actually ask you out.
Thus, just as you were having lunch with Cillian, Finn and Anthony, Finn asked you an uncomfortable question.
‘Y/N, I was wondering if, perhaps, you would like to see a play with me on Saturday. Anthony and his wife are coming too’ Finn said, causing Cillian’s eyebrows to raise.
You took a deep breath, not knowing how to respond. Was he asking for a date or was he just being friendly?
‘Uhm, thank you for the offer, but I can’t. I am sorry. I will be in London for the weekend’ you said shyly while Cillian quietly watched the situation unfold.
‘Alright. Well, let me know if your plans change, ok?’ Finn said, causing you to nod before excusing yourself.
‘I better visit the bathroom before we start the next scene’ you said with a flushed face as you walked off. You were rather uncomfortable by Finn’s question, especially in front of Cillian.
When you were gone, Finn couldn’t help it but discuss the matter further with Anthony and Cillian, seeking some advice from them.
‘I had hoped for a different answer, but hey’ Finn said with disappointment, causing Cillian to look at him with some surprise.
‘Sorry man’ Anthony said. Until that moment, when Finn asked you whether you wanted to go out with him, he was certain that he was the one you were involved with based on Emma’s comments. He felt terrible for suggesting that he bring you along to the play.
‘That’s alright. I probably should have asked her to do something more private. Like dinner or something. Or go and watch a movie’ Finn said, causing Cillian to cross his elbows and raise his eyebrows again. He didn’t like the fact that Finn was interested in you and observed the conservation with silence.
‘Well, I actually thought the rumours that you two were involved with each other were true. That is why I suggested you bring her along to the play’ Anthony said with some embarrassment.
‘I wish they were. But unfortunately, they are not’ Finn laughed before he noticed Cillian’s silence. ‘You are a good matchmaker Cilly. Can you help me out here? Set me up on a date with Y/N or something?’ Finn asked.
‘No man, sorry. I don’t think she is interested to be honest’ Cillian said before also excusing himself. The conversation had clearly become too awkward for him.
After this strange encounter, Cillian returned to his trailer to prepare for the next scene which was to start after the lunch break in about half an hour.
Making a Claim
Not long after he sat down to re-read his script, he heard a knock on the door.
‘Cilly, it’s Y/N’ you said before letting yourself inside.
‘Are you alright?’ you asked as you observed an angry look on Cillian’s face.
‘Yeah, fine’ Cillian sighed, causing you to walk over towards him and press your lips onto his.
‘Yeah, fine?’ you giggled after you broke the kiss. ‘It seems to me that someone is jealous’ you smirked.
‘I am not jealous Y/N, I just don’t like anyone hitting on my girlfriend’ Cillian said.
‘Your girlfriend huh? Well, no one knows that I am your girlfriend’ you said with a giggle. In fact, even you didn’t know this. Until recently, Cillian kept reminding you that he wanted to take things slow especially since you are half his age and he only recently broke up with his ex. That’s a whole new tune coming from him, calling you his girlfriend.
‘I suppose’ Cillian said somewhat annoyed.
‘Well, you know, I also don’t like women hitting on you, yet it happens. Quite often in fact’ you giggled.
‘Oh common, no one hits on me on set’ Cillian laughed.
‘Barb hits on you every day’ you responded.
‘Barb? Seriously?’ Cillian asked.
‘Oh yes. Haven’t you noticed? She likes you a lot. Everyone knows that’ you smirked.
‘She is quite attractive I suppose’ Cillian said sheepishly, causing you to give him a nudge before pressing your lips onto his for a gentle kiss.
Cillian pulled you closer to him, and the kiss became demanding and insistent.
You buried your hands in his hair to pull him closer until, eventually, you had to come up for air.
You had mussed his hair quite badly, but you were certain that yours looked no better.
You stared at each other for a moment, unable to do much more than breathe.
‘Do I seem pissed off?’ Cillian asked lightly, once he had the air to accomplish words.
‘A little bit’ you grinned. ‘I think you’ve been a bit blunt around Finn’ you added.
‘Yes, because he’s hitting on you’ Cillian chuckled.
‘And that makes you territorial, does it?’ you smirked cheekily.
‘Yeah’ Cillian said while cupping your face.
‘Oh yeah? Well, then perhaps you should mark your territory’ you smirked before running your hands over Cillian’s crotch.
‘What if someone comes in?’ Cillian asked with a heavy breath.
‘The trailer locks. Besides…’ you levelled a serious expression at him…’you know what the next scene on my schedule entails, right?’ you asked, reminding Cillian that your character Yvette will be trying to seduce Finn’s character Michael Gray in the next scene after he had a fight with his with Gina. Whilst the seduction would be futile, the scene involved a kiss and some touching.
‘I do’ Cillian said with a deep voice before kissing your neck.
‘He will probably enjoy it’ he then said with some annoyance before he locked the trailer door and pressed his lips back onto yours.
‘Maybe. But then, who can compete with Tommy Shelby eh?’ you smirked as you broke the kiss for a split second before crashing your lips back onto his.
You marvelled at his dexterity and slipped your tongue into his mouth. Cillian groaned deep in his throat in response, a vocalization that you found thoroughly erotic.
‘I want you to fuck me right here’ you said in a haste as your lips drifted apart and you reached for the bulge straining against his black suit pants.
‘I don’t have a condom Y/N. Despite there isn’t much time…’ he said, trying to slow you down and, before he could finish his sentence, you interrupted.
‘I am on the pill. Let’s make this quick’ you said eagerly before kissing him again.
This was all he needed to hear and, with one fluid motion, he pulled you away from the wall and lifted you easily to sit on the counter by the bench.
There was no time for you to get undressed. You had no more than fifteen minutes.
You worked the fly on Cillian’s pants open with little trouble and worked your prize free of his briefs. He was twitching with excitement, and you smiled to see the effect you had upon him.
At the same time, Cillian reached beneath your skirt and slipped your already soaked panties down around your ankles, dropping them to the floor besides you.
His lips met yours again as he rand his fingers through your wet slit a few times before he finally rested his cock against your entrance.
Your combined heat was feverish and you grabbed his cock, rubbing the head up and down your slit, coating him in warmth and wetness.
Cillian groaned and strained towards you, causing you to lean forward to kiss him, as you speared yourself on his hardness.
You know that, unlike other encounters you had, this would not be romantic nor would it be gentle. But that’s not what you wanted anyway. You wanted him to fuck you hard and fast. You wanted him to claim you.
You moaned into his mouth and clutched at his shoulders as he entered you.
‘Shit!’ you exclaimed, breaking this kiss. ‘Fuck!’ you exclaimed again as he thrust up into you with unexpected force.
His hands dug into your ass as he pulled you as close to him as possible.
You kept grounding yourself into him, revelling in the feeling of him inside of you. This was the first time you could feel him like this, the warms of his flesh rubbing against your tight but wet walls.
It was sensational and your hands clutched convulsively at his head.
Cillian nuzzled at your chest in between the opening of your blouse as he pumped his hips to meet yours.
You were so turned on by this point that you felt yourself already teetering on the edge of an orgasm. Usually, you would hold back from coming so quickly, but you were on a tight schedule and allowed yourself to let go.
You nipped gently at Cillian’s earlobe, and between moans, you spoke softly in his ear.
‘I am about to come’ you moaned, causing Cillian to groan. He knew what this meant. Your already tight walls would soon contract around him, sending him over the edge as well.
‘Do you want me to pull out after you do?’ Cillian asked as he continued to thrust into you.
You shook your head. ‘No, I want to feel you come inside of me’ you moaned.
The thought of him coming inside of you turned you both on immensely. It was something you both secretly fantasied about for over a week now.
With his thrusts becoming faster and more forceful, you could feel your orgasm begin to ripple through you, burning up from your core through your body, thrumming through your brain.
With his bare cock inside of you, all of you began to shake.
‘Fuck! Cillian! Yes! Fuck!’ you cried out.
You were certain that you were being too loud, but it was difficult for you to stifle yourself.
‘Shh Y/N’ Cillian chuckled just before he felt your walls clench around his cock, emphasizing his hardness.
He let out a terrific groan, and managed to choke out, ‘Fuck, Y/N’, before you felt the heat of him spurting into you.
He was not much quieter than you were and twitched inside of you, a sensation that extended your own orgasm.
You grasped at one another's bodies, overcome by the intensity. You bit your lip to keep yourself from screaming The strength of your orgasm was overwhelming, and when the shuddering pleasure at last subsided, you panted against Cillian’s shoulder.
Even through the clothes, you could feel his heart racing against you.
As you both came down from your high, you softly kissed each other while Cillian pulled out of you carefully.
You could feel his warm cum leaking out of you but you didn’t bother cleaning yourself up. Instead, you pulled up your panties stopping it from running out of you and down your thighs.
The thought of this drove Cillian absolutely crazy and he was ready for round two. Unfortunately for you, there was no time and, just as he zipped up his pants, you could hear a knock on the door.
‘Ready in five minutes Y/N’ Anthony yelled, causing your face to instantly turn red. How did he know that you were in Cillian’s trailer? Did he hear you?
You quickly straightened up your hair and clothes before walking outside with flushed cheeks.
‘Just rehearsing’ you said with heightened embarrassment as you looked down at the floor and waved your script around as you walked past Anthony.
‘Right, then let’s go’ he said with a laugh.
Accidents Happen
The scene with Finn was difficult for you to film especially now that you knew that he was interested in you.
It became even more difficult when Cillian appeared on set to get ready for his next scene.
Him watching you kiss Finn made you uncomfortable.
The scene was taking place on a boat parked at the canal and there was a lot happening around you. It was cold and raining and there you were, kissing Finn in front of your boyfriend.
After five takes due to the rain, Anthony was finally happy with the material and it was time for you to step off the boat.
It was slippery and, even with the best efforts from the team on set, you ended up falling on the ramp in your red vintage heals.
‘Shit Y/N, are you alright?’ Finn asked as you landed on the floor, taking a blow to your wrist.
Cillian instantly came running over to you and, together with Finn, helped you up from the muddy floor.
‘Now that was embarrassing’ you said, holding back some tears.
‘I think we will stop filming now and I will organise a nurse to see you Y/N’ Anthony said as the rain picked up and it started to thunder.
The outdoor scenes were cancelled for the remainder of the day and Cillian took off his big jacket, wrapping it around you as Finn and him walked with you towards the shelter.
‘Are you alright?’ Cillian asked, his big blue eyes looking into yours while he held your hand.
Anthony and Finn couldn’t help but look at you both, somewhat stunned. But Cillian didn’t care about what it looked like to them. He was worried about you and cared for you deeply.
‘I am fine’ you smiled and Cillian stayed with you until the nurse came and assed your wrist.
It was clearly sprained and you were lucky that it wasn’t broken.
‘I think she will survive mate’ Anthony said to Cillian with a chuckle as sat there and waited for you to be fitted with a wrist support splint.
‘I am just hanging around to see if she needs some help, that’s all’ Cillian responded.
‘Sure mate’ Anthony chuckled, becoming somewhat suspicious about Cillian’s behaviour towards you.
‘I think we will all need a shower and a beer. Meet you guys at the pub at 5?’ he asked, causing both you and Cillian to nod.
After the nurse attended to you and discharged you, you made your way back to your apartment.
Emma was about to leave when you arrived and you texted Cillian, asking him to come over before you would head to the pub together.
Bath Fun
Just as he arrived, your bath was ready. He was ten minutes early, as usual.
‘I will just need to have a quick wash’ you said as you were still covered in mud.
‘That’s alright, I will watch some TV while I wait’ Cillian said as you disappeared into the bathroom.
Unfortunately for you, it wasn’t long until you had to ask Cillian for help.
‘Cillian, can you give me hand please?’ you asked loudly from the bathroom as you tried to open the wrist support splint yourself without success.
‘Why don’t you leave it on and I will help you?’ he asked after he came inside the bathroom.
‘Alright, but no fooling around. We are already late’ you said.
‘Of course not’ Cillian smirked as just as he got undressed.
‘Uhm what are you doing?’ you asked surprised, unsure why he needed to get undressed in order to help you wash your hair and back.
‘Well, I am getting into the bath with you. Just to make it easier for the both of us of course’ Cillian said.
‘Of course’ you giggled as he helped you in the bathtub before getting in behind you.
Cillian went straight to business and began washing your back with the soft sponge.
That feels great’ you said, closing your eyes.
Cillian then grabbed the handheld shower head and rinsed your hair with the hot water. Next, he grabbed the body wash and soaped up your back.
Once your back was done, he reached around and washed your front where his soapy hands found your breasts and rubbed them thoroughly, his fingers playing with your nipples.
As he did, you noticed Cillian’s erection getting bigger by the second, his hard cock poking against your lower back.
‘This counts as fooling around’ you said as Cillian continued to massage your breasts.
I'm just trying to be thorough’ Cillian replied.
You wanted to give him a harder time, but you felt that all too familiar stirring between her legs.
Cillian’s hands finally left your breasts and made their way down your stomach, still under the guise of helping you to get clean. When your front was completely covered in the body wash, his hands travelled further south. You felt Cillian's slick fingers getting dangerously close to your entrance, and you found yourself opening your legs wide to allow him easier access. He didn't hesitate and slipped two fingers into you right away.
‘I knew you wouldn't be able to control yourself’ you mumbled as his fingers pumped into you.
‘Can you blame me?’ Cillian asked. ‘After all, I have got the most beautiful woman right here with me’ he added as he thrusted his fingers in and out of you, causing you to moan.
While his fingers began to thrust outwards, hitting your g-spot over and over again, his thumb began to massage your clit.
‘Oh god’ you moaned as you clenched onto the side of the bathtub but, just as you were nearing your high, Cillian retracted his hand.
‘What are you doing?’ you whined, turning to pout at him.
‘I want to try something else’ he responded.
You weren’t sure what he meant, but you saw him going for the handheld shower head again. In an instant, a strong stream of hot water was pounding against your clit. Your back arched, the sensation overwhelming.
‘Holy fuck’ you moaned, slumping back against Cillian as his fingers returned to inside of you while the harsh water streamed against your clit. His skin felt deliciously warm behind you and he aimed the stream even closer to your most sensitive spot.
You leaned your head back against his chest, and Cillian's left arm snaked around your waist while his right controlled the shower head.
‘I knew you'd like that’ he whispered into your ear as you continued to contort against him. And a few seconds later, you were wracked with a powerful orgasm.
As you tried to recover, Cillian casually rinsed the rest of your body as if he hadn't just gotten you off. You could feel he was rock hard now.
He put the shower head back into its place and guided you up so that you were sitting on the tiled edge of the bathtub, your back leaning against the cold tiles on the wall behind you.
Cillian got down on his knees in front of your and grabbed your hips.
‘Oh god Cillian, I swear, you're gonna kill me’ you mumbled as Cillian pushed his head between your thighs. His mouth went to work, french kissing your lower lips.
Cillian's tongue alternated between stimulating your clit and plunging inside you.
You put your uninjured hand in his hair and began to moan loudly as he stimulated you with his tongue.
‘You are so fucking beautiful, you know that?’ Cillian asked as his tongue ran up and down your slit, dipping into you now and then before circling over your clit.
‘Cillian, I want you inside of me, now. Please’ you moaned.
‘Impatient as usual, aren’t we?’ he smirked before plunging his tongue inside of you one more time before pulling away and helping you out of the bathtub.
After he helped you dry off, he suggested that you go to the bedroom but you had other ideas.
‘Right here’ you smirked causing the smile on Cillian’s face to fade and be replaced with a serious look in his eyes.
‘As you wish’ he said with determination just before he made you bent forward over the sink.
You looked at him through the mirror in front of you. His intensity made your shiver in anticipation and, before you even had the chance to take in a deep breath, Cillian lined himself up at your opening and gently pushed inside.
After all the foreplay, it went in so easily, as if Cillian inside you was the most natural thing in the world. His thrusts were slow and gentle, and he angled his body to ensure his weight wasn't pressing against your injured wrist.
He was clearly taking it easy with you and it felt as if everything was moving in slow motion, so you could savour every millisecond.
Cillian's thrusts started d to get a little more powerful, but still slow and controlled. He brought his face close to the back of your neck while looking at you through the mirror in front of you.
He loved seeing facial expressions and hear your moans when he was inside of you.
‘Oh god’ you moaned as your hips were rising to meet his thrusts and his lips began to kiss your neck gently until, all of a sudden, you heard Emma’s voice.
‘Y/N, are you in the bathroom?’ she asked.
‘Yes, having a bath’ you said with a hasty voice while Cillian halted his thrusts.
‘Can I come in? I need my glasses. They are on the window seal’ she said.
‘No’ you shouted. Cillian was still inside of you and his hands were still placed over your waist.
‘Alright, uhm, can you bring them to the pub when you get there, please. I just came back to get them’ she said with a laugh before leaving the apartment.
‘That was close’ Cillian chuckled as soon as he heard the apartment door close.
‘You think’ you chuckled just as you pushed back on him, indicating that you wanted him to keep going.
Cillian finally had enough of the slow pace and roughly grabbed your hips tighter. His fingers dug into your flesh as he began to pound into you.
‘Yes, that’s it’ you moaned as you closed your eyes and let your head drop forward.
‘Oh god Cillian, yes keep going’ you moaned as Cillian was hitting all the right places. Cillian's hands started traveling around your body, one grabbed a hold of your ass and the other snaked up to play with your nipples.
Cillian soon started grunting, and you knew that he was close.
‘I am so close, don’t stop’ you moaned as you ground your hips hard against him and, as Cillian gave a few final thrusts, and when you felt him cum inside you, you came too.
‘Yes yes yes’ you gasped, trying to hold on to the sink for support as your orgasm washed over you and Cillian thrusted into you hard three more times before slowing down his movements.
Once he caught his breath, Cillian was able to pull out and stand up straight and you turned around to kiss him.
‘I suppose, we will be late’ you smirked as you looked at your watch, it was 5.15pm.
‘Hmm, do we even have to go?’ Cillian asked before kissing you again.
‘Yes Cillian, we do’ you said and quickly brushed your hair and got dressed.
It took you less than ten minutes after your sexual encounter to get ready and jump into a taxi.
More than Rumours
When you arrived at the pub, everyone was already there. Finn, Emma, Anthony and some of the other crew and cast members.
‘You guys are half an hour late’ Anthony said as you and Cillian approached the table.
‘Sorry. It took me a bit longer to get ready with this thing on’ you said shyly as you sat down next to Emma and handed her the pair of glasses she had been asking for earlier.
Emma looked over at you and Cillian and noticed that you both had wet hair.
But she wasn’t the only one who noticed. Anthony also observed that you both looked freshly showered with nice and clean hair.
What he also noticed was a familiar looking jumper that Cillian was wearing. In fact, it was the same jumper he saw on you just a week ago.
‘Nice Jumper Cillian’ Anthony said, while looking at you with a wide grin. The embarrassment shot through your face in an instant.
‘Thanks’ Cillian said, somewhat surprised by his comment. Little did he know that you had misappropriated the jumper a week ago when you got a coffee from the hotel restaurant, which is when you ran into Anthony.
The evening continued by you and Cillian ordering drinks and some food while Anthony found some time to speak to Emma in private.
‘I wish I wouldn’t have listened to you the last time we spoke Em’ Anthony laughed.
‘Why is that?’ Emma asked.
‘Well, Y/N is clearly not involved with Finn’ he chuckled.
‘What makes you say that?’ Emma asked.
‘Well, I suggested to Finn that he asks Y/N to join us for the theatre next week and she declined. I figured, if the rumours were true, she would say yes. Despite, Finn then asked Cillian to help him set him up with Y/N’ Anthony said.
‘That’s interesting. What did Cillian say?’ Emma asked curiously.
‘He said no and left’ Anthony laughed.
‘So, who do you think she is seeing?’ Emma asked.
‘I think you know as well as I do Em’ Anthony said with a laugh before taking his beer from the counter.
‘Yes… at least I have my suspicions’ Emma said with a giggle as she looked over to you and Cillian.

The Secret - Chapter 3
The Apartment
A/N: Hey lovelies! Again, thank you for reading and liking! I have a procedure tomorrow so I may take a few days off, but I will try to have the next chapter up as soon as possible!
When Y/N helped Graves onto his couch, she let out a small huff of annoyance. He had complained all the way from the car.
“We should have apparated.” His voice was still weak, but full of judgment.
“You're too weak to apparate.” She reminded him, for the third time.
“Well that no-maj torture device wasn't any better.”
“That was an automobile, and it's one of their newest major inventions. It’s just starting to get popular. You have to admire how they get around.”
“I don't have to admire anything.” He grumbled causing her to roll her eyes. “Besides, you didn't need to help me walk into my own house.”
Her eyebrows raised. “I'm sorry your majesty. Next time I will let you crawl.” It was going to be a long three days. She could feel it. Even knowing him for a year, she was sure he wouldn't do well being on forced bed rest.
“If you wouldn’t mind, in my office are some files. I can, at least, get some work done.” Yep, there it was. He pointed to a closed door to her left.
“Percival, it’s after midnight.”
“Yes, and?”
“You really need some sleep.”
She saw his jaw clench and his eyes narrow. “Miss Y/L/N, I am going to be forced to get plenty of sleep. As long as I am home I don’t want to be useless.”
“You’re not useless you’re-“
“The files. Mrs. Y/L/N.” It wasn’t a request anymore, and she knew if she refused again he would be up on his feet, getting them for himself. So, as she headed for the door she allowed herself to roll her eyes.
Percival’s apartment would surprise a lot of people. It was warm. A decent size, they had passed a kitchen and dining room before getting to the living room. At the opposite end of the living room was a hallway, she could only assume to the bedroom and bathroom.
As the door swung open she almost laughed to see it was as disorganized as his work office had been. Turning on a light she let her eyes adjust a moment before focusing on the stack of files on his desk. The whole room smelled like him, and it was likely this was where he spent most of his time. There were accolades hanging on the wall, and a pair of reading glasses on his desk. She let out a sigh before grabbing the files and heading back to the living room. Setting the files on the table he leaned forward and opened the first one.
Y/N checked her watch. “Mr. Graves you need to take your next dose of potions at 2.” He looked up at her and slightly smiled. She must have been frustrated with him if she called him Mr. Graves. “If you are alright I’m going to quickly go to my apartment and grab a few things.”
“That’s fine.” He said, turning his focus back to the case he was working. Y/N nodded and was gone with a pop.
She landed in the middle of her, much smaller, living room. Everything was pitch black for a second until she switched on a lamp. She allowed herself a moment to just lean against her chair and take a few shaky breaths. When she had gone to Percival’s office to retrieve his effects before they headed for his home, she had allowed herself to cry, briefly. The idea of losing him had become painful, though she was sure she could never tell him that. Sitting down, those feelings washed over her again, never listening to his stories, seeing his small smile, catching him off guard and making him laugh. She felt the tears pouring down her face and she let out a small sob. Pushing the feelings away she stood and headed into her bedroom. Grabbing a bag she quickly picked a few clothes, wiping her eyes periodically. Once she felt she had enough for a few days she used her wand to turn off her lights and back to Percival’s she went. She appeared near his front door, not wanting to startle him.
He was still working on the same file, his eyes focused on the paper in front of him. She set the bag down at the end of the couch.
“What are you doing Miss Y/L/N?”
“I figured I would be sleeping on the couch.”
“No need. There is a guest room. First door on the left, down the hall.” He answered quickly. “Though, were there not a guest room, I would be taking the couch.”
“Were there not a guest room you would not. You’re injured and need rest.”
Percival finally looked up at her, more to argue, but stopped. “Y/N, are you alright?” She realized her eyes must have been red.
“I’m fine, sir.” She assured him. “I should put this bag in the spare room, sir.” He watched her walk away, not taking his eyes off of her until she had turned the corner.
The spare room was about the size of her bedroom at home. Simple: a bed, dresser, lamp, and a nightstand. She set her bag down and looked at the mirror next to the dresser. It was no wonder he noticed. Her eyes were puffy and red. It was clear she had been crying. Taking in a slow breath she pulled her wand from her jacket and quickly hid what she could, before placing the jacket on the bed and heading back to the living room. Percival was no longer engrossed in a case file, in fact the file was closed and back on the pile.
“Can I get you something, sir.”
“What’s wrong?” He asked sincerely.
Y/N shook her head. “It was momentary, I’m fine. Would you like something to drink or eat?”
“Y/N? Please be honest with me.”
Y/N looked to the floor and back up into his eyes, choosing her words carefully. “Tonight was just frightening that’s all. I was worried, and emotions built up.” Percival began to stand, and she was next to him in a second. “You really shouldn’t get up. I know, I need to learn to control my emotions better.”
He looked at her for a moment. “Do you believe that’s what I was going to say to you?” Y/N was stuck, unsure of what to say. Percival wrapped his arms around her, and her pulled her softly against his chest. “It’s okay for situations like this to be frightening. You did everything you needed to. You held it together. No one could ask anymore of you. When you are alone you’re allowed to feel those emotions. You’re human, Y/N.” His voice was calm, quiet, comforting and she felt herself relax into him, his warmth, his words.
“Thank you, Percival.” Her voice was barely above a whisper and she could have sworn the ghost of a kiss touched the top of her head before he pulled away.
——————————
Percival had barely made it to the 2AM hour for his potions. Despite pretending like everything was fine, he was weak and exhausted.
So, Y/N dreaded waking him up for his 6AM potion. She must have stood at his door for a full minute. This would be her going into his bedroom. Even at 2 he had still been on the couch, and she had merely helped him to the door after. Taking a deep breath her knuckles rapped on the wood. Nothing.
“Percival?” She called out, knocking again.
“Come in.” She heard his voice say. Opening the door, she was surprised to find him sitting up in bed. She could see his blue and white striped night shirt, and a black blanket was pulled up to his waist. The room itself was sparse. A large bed in the center, directly across from the door, a window to her right, and a dresser and mirror to her left. On the nightstand was a small lamp, which was on, and more files. Something clunky was under the files, but she couldn’t see what.
“I’m sorry to wake you, but it’s time for your potions.”
“I needed to be up anyway.” He said quickly. “I have to go into the office today.”
Y/N let out a small laugh. “That’s not happening.”
“I think someone is going to notice if I’m not there.” Percival didn’t like to toot his own horn, but he had worked consistently and with any luck was about to be named the next Head of Magical Law Enforcement.
“I’ve already left word with Arthur that you wouldn’t be coming in for a few days, plus your doctor has informed Madame President.” Y/N explained. “If you would like I can go in and explain it myself.”
“You don’t have to do that.” He answered and she handed him his first potion, which he drank down quickly. It tasted slightly of some sort of fruit. Not entirely unpleasant. The second one, however, tasted of metal and he worked to not make a face getting it down.
“You should get some more sleep.” Y/N suggested, taking the bottles.
“I can get some work done.”
“Percival.” Her voice was softer than he was used to and it made him look into her deep brown eyes.
“Please, for me, get some more sleep. It’s the best way to let your body heal. I promise when you wake up next I will bring you whatever files you would like.
He considered his options for a moment. “Alright, those are acceptable terms.” A small smile played on his face.
“Good.” Y/N gave him a small nod before quickly leaving his room, pausing just outside to catch her breath. She certainly never expected to be in his apartment, let alone his bedroom.
————————————
By the time Percival woke at 9 Y/N had breakfast ready and waiting. He felt almost groggy - it had been a long time since he woken up so late. Usually he was up by 5, and rarely ever slept in past 7 - even on his days off.
He slowly walked toward his dining room, lured by the scent of bacon and pancakes. He watched Y/N for a moment as she hummed to herself and continued to make food.
“You didn’t have to-“ His sudden words startled her and she let out a small shout as she jumped and stared at him with wide eyes. He couldn’t help but chuckle. “-do that, Miss Y/L/N. I am sorry I startled you.”
“Percival.” She abandoned the food for a moment to quickly walk over to him. “Please, have a seat.” She pulled out the head chair to the dining room table, and Percival tentatively sat before she headed back toward the kitchen. “And, no, It’s fine.” She tried to calm her racing heart. “And it’s my pleasure. You need to eat, so do I.” She placed a plate of food on the table in front of him. Percival had tried his best to hide how weak his body felt, he didn’t want to appear frail. Y/N saw right through it. “Coffee?”
“Please.”
“Coming right up.” She grabbed him a steaming mug of coffee, along with her own breakfast, and sat down to eat.
“I know I didn’t have the ingredients for all of this.” Percival said as he looked at the array of food. Y/N had made bacon and pancakes. Also muffins - two different kinds - and sliced grapefruit.
“You didn’t. I went out earlier.” Taking a small sip of her coffee, she couldn’t help but tease. “Tell me, Percival, how does a head auror get by day to day on coffee alone?”
“I eat at the office a lot.” He answered simply before taking a bite of pancake and letting out a soft sigh. It was delicious. “Thank you for this. It’s…. Nice.” So, flirting was not his strong suit.
“Your next dose of medicine is in a little less than an hour. Work sent over some files for you.”
“Y/N?”
“Hmm?” She looked up at him and he was slowly chewing a piece of bacon, smiling at her. He tried to think of something to say, but his words were failing. He never failed to charm her when he was at the office. Maybe he was noticing how the sunlight coming through the window played in her hair. Or the fact that the bacon was the best he had tasted. Or, maybe he was realizing that she didn’t have to do any of this. She could have left him with the healers or arranged for a nurse. Instead she was sleeping in her boss’s guest room and barely sleeping, at that, so she could take care of him.
“After breakfast I would like to get some work done. Just because I’m not at the office doesn’t mean there aren’t things I can do.” He had blown it.
She still smiled. “Sure. Not a problem, sir.”
The rest of the meal was mostly in silence, but neither one of them seemed to mind, and just like she promised after breakfast Percival moved into his home office and started getting to work on the files.
He had read for about thirty minutes when he checked his watch. It was nearing 10, but no sign of Y/N with his medication. Taking a deep breath he stood up slowly and walked over to the door. He could tell the dramatic improvement just from the night before. Though it was taking a concerted effort, he was able to make his way across the room without every muscle screaming at him. Opening the door he was about to speak but saw Y/N asleep on the couch. The book she must have been reading lay forgotten on the floor. Between making sure his meds were taken on time, shopping for groceries, and cooking breakfast, Percival realized there was no way he could be sure she had gotten nearly any sleep. For a moment his plan was to just take the medication himself, but it occurred to him, he had no idea where she had placed it.
Clenching his jaw in slight frustration he made his was over to her, wishing he didn’t have to wake her up. Her breathing was slow, her face serene and Percival found himself watching her for a moment. To him, she couldn’t be more beautiful.
“Y/N..” His voice was barely above a whisper as she began to stir. For a moment she was confused about where she was and who was waking her up, until she saw him.
“Percival.” She quickly sat up. “I’m so sorry, I fell asleep.”
“It’s quite alright.” He reassured her. “I would have got the medicine myself, but I don’t know where you keep it.”
“Of course, one moment.” She was on her feet in an instant and he watched her walk down the hallway to the guest room. It would make sense for the medicine to be in there. “Again, I’m really sorry.” She was walking back toward him with one dose of each liquid.
“Please don’t apologize.” He tried to calm her. “You have been doing a lot.” Unlike this morning he took both potions as quick as he could, the metal one going first. “I am sorry I had to wake you.”
“I can help you with some files, if you would like.” She offered as she took the vials back. He was going to put his hand on her shoulder, that was his goal. His hand, however, seemed to have a mind of its own as he cupped her cheek. Y/N almost stopped breathing at his touch.
“You should rest. I am feeling decent. If I need you, I will let you know.” Percival realized he had taken a small step forward, and how close they actually were. All he needed to do was move in, but something stopped him and he, instead, pulled his hand back. Y/N couldn’t lie to herself and say she wasn’t disappointed, but she wouldn’t allow herself to believe Percival had tried, or even thought about, kissing her.
“I’ll be here if you need anything.” She promised and he have her a small nod before he headed back into his office and closed the door. Y/N sat back down on the couch and picked up her book. It was useless. She couldn’t concentrate if she wanted to.

Jack Daniels was good at reading people.
It was part of his job. He had to be observant, had to have a working understanding of body language and non-verbal signals. He was especially diligent about it when it came to you; it wasn’t a purposeful thing, but rather an instinct to keep an eye on the person he loved most in the world. He could read you like a book and some days, it felt like he knew you better than you knew yourself, and maybe he did. There was really no telling with Jack. Every time you finally thought you had experienced every little quirk and trait he had to offer, he managed to pull something out the bag. Whether it was his ability to predict a bad mood before it happened or the way he remembered every tiny little detail of a conversation, he was constantly proving himself to be one hell of a partner.
It was no surprise; Jack thought you deserved the best and so, that’s what he tried to give you. He didn’t often let people into his life, especially not after so much loss, but from the moment you’d met, he knew he could trust you. He’d always been a brilliant judge of character and he’d been completely right about you. You’d turned his entire world upside down; taught him how to love again and reminded him that the things he’d lost could be found again, just with a little care and patience. The empty house he used to come to was filled with love and laughter and little marks of you and him; photos from your various trips, magnets on the fridge, that he brought home from all the countries his job took him to, the little notes you left on his nightstand when you had to slip out for work before he rose. The first time Jack had come through the front door and almost tripped over your shoes, he’d cried - not out of anger or shock, but at the realisation that he was no longer alone.
Jack had the innate desire to look after you. He knew you could handle yourself but that didn’t mean that you had to. You’d been there for him in every sense of the world, and he wanted to do the same, to make sure that you felt appreciated every second of every day. In his mind, if you ever questioned his love or loyalty, then he wasn’t doing his job right. That desire translated into little things, rather than grand displays of affection; he’d do your laundry when you worked late, sent you sweet texts through out the day and brought you flowers just because. It wasn’t uncommon to find that Jack had filled up your car with gas without asking, or to come home to your favourite take out.
His biggest way, however, was in how well he knew you. Every slight change in demeanour and every variation in the tone of your voice was caught by him; he knew when you were okay, and he knew when you weren’t. He could tell when you were half-way between, and he’d do his best to bring you back to the lighter side. You take comfort in the fact he always had your back, no ifs or buts.
When Jack woke up early one morning to find your side of the bed empty, he immediately knew that was something was up; the second his palm reached out for you, only to be met with a fistful of cold sheets, he knew. You never got out of bed early. There could have been an atomic war happening outside and you still would have refused to move, insisting on five more minutes before nuclear winter hit. The bathroom light was off and there wasn’t anything you could have found in the kitchen. After all, you’d only arrived at the ranch a few hours earlier. You were both tired from a few long weeks at work and escaping the suffocating fog of the city for the rolling hills and fresh air of Kentucky felt like heaven.
Jack sat up, pausing for a moment. There was a gentle creek coming from somewhere; it was steady and rhythmic, ringing from the porch. His shoulder slumped wit relief - you were outside on the porch swing. At 6AM on a cold, winter’s morning. The relief was shorting lived.
Pulling on his robe, Jack rubbed his eyes and headed out towards the porch. Sure enough, you were the first thing he saw, shoulders covered by the plaid shirt he’d worn the previous day and fluffy socks gently brushing against the floor with the movement of the swing. The light above you illuminated you in a soft smoulder, a golden glow cast over you, illuminating your tired eyes and disheveled hair. He would have lectured you about the cold, had you not had a knitted blanket around you.
‘Bit early for you, ain’t it?’ Jack leant against the door frame, gently smiling when your eyes met.
‘What’s early when you haven’t slept yet?’ You aimlessly joked.
Lifting up the blanket, you silently gestured for him to come and sit next to you. Jack obliged, dropping down beside you and winding a large arm around your shoulder. He pulled you into his chest, placing a kiss on your temple. His warm body was a welcome feeling against the cold of the January air.
‘What’s keeping you up?’ He softly coaxed.
‘I don’t know, to be honest.’ You replied. ‘It’s just been a long week.’
‘I get that.’ His voice was slightly murmured. He pulled you even closer, chin resting on your head. ‘But we’re here now, sugar. I think we both need the down time.’
‘Definitely.’ You said. ‘Plus, the view isn’t so bad.’
The ranch overlooked a large field filled with cows and horses; it stretched out for miles, fading away into the distance into a seemingly endless close. The edges of the green pasture were tinged with the pink of a tonic sun rise, pushing away the dark of the night sky. It wasn’t often that you got to watch the sun come up, and it felt a little refreshing to see a new day come. It was fresh; a clean slate, young and naive, but full of possibility. An ironic thought, given that you and Jack were probably going to lay on the sofa the whole day and order take out.
‘You’re right.’ He murmured from beside you.
‘Are you doing that thing where you look at me when I’m talking about a nice view?’ You peered up at him, thinning your eyes.
‘You said it was romantic!’
‘The first five times, Jack!’ You chuckled, leaning up to press a kiss to his jaw.
‘Nothing is sacred anymore.’
You settled back against his chest with a smile. ‘I like it here.’
‘Me too.’ He agreed. ‘It’s nice to get away from the Apple. Everything over there if faster than a knife fight in a damn phone booth.’
‘And it doesn’t smell of pizza and...pee.’
You loved New York dearly; it had been your home for many years, and it was also where you’d met Jack. But, whether it was your permanent home, you didn’t know. There were some days when it all got so much. The city never quietened down and you could never quite escape it, even in the comfort of your own apartment. Out here, you were worlds away from that. Crickets were gently purring in the distance, and the only other sound came from the rustling of the animals in the field across the road. It was peaceful. Serene.
‘What if we moved out here when I’m done at the Statesman?’ Jack posed, almost as though he were shy about broaching the subject. ‘We could get a couple horses. Maybe a dog. Heck, if you want a zoo, I’ll get you a zoo.’
‘I’d like that.’ You smiled. ‘I mean living here, not the zoo thing - but a dog and horses sounds nice.’
‘Then a dog and horses we shall get.’ He grinned. ‘Oh! I can teach you to ride.’
‘Or I could just watch you do it.’
‘There’s not a single person in this here town who can’t ride a horse.’ Jack said. ‘Unless a pony would be better.’
‘Why not both? We have enough room.’ You reminded him. ‘Maybe we can re-tile the kitchen too. It’s not that I don’t like the green, it’s just it’s...’
‘...dreadful?’
‘That’s a nice way of putting it.’
Because you didn’t live on the ranch full time, neither of you had put too much effort into making it homely. It was liveable, by all means, but the television in the living room dated back to the first Bush administration and the kitchen was a little too lime for your liking. The place had come furnished by the old owners, which had been a big selling point for Jack. He just wanted somewhere he could live whilst he was in Kentucky and this place had been practical. It wasn’t until you and your eye for interior design came along that he realised how retro it was.
‘There’s a hardware store down the road.’ Jack said. ‘We can get a couple hours sleep and head down there later to see what they got.’
‘Maybe we can find something less green.’
‘I sure fucking hope so.’
---
The next morning, you and Jack bundled up into some warmer clothes and piled into the Bronco, heading for the store downtown. The actual city was miles out, but there lots of little local and independent places. There were little cafes and restaurants, as well as farmers’ markets and fresh produce. You had thought about living here permanently before, but you hadn’t verbalised it until Jack had suggested it first. Given everything that had happened in the past, you’d wanted to do things at his pace, but so far, you’d been perfectly in tune with one another. That was a testament to your relationship as a whole.
‘I just smiled at that woman and she smiled back.’ You muttered to Jack, peering up at the store as you headed through the parking lot.
‘And?’
‘I once smiled at a stranger on the Subway and they told me to piss off.’
Jack chuckled, reaching out to wind his arm around yours. He tangled your fingers together, pulling you flush against his side. It was easier to show physical displays of affection here too. He was always a little paranoid in the city, given how busy it was and how easy it would have been to for an enemy to hide. That was another thing Jack did without thinking; taking tiny little precautions to protect you. He couldn’t even begin to think about losing you. And the thought never popped up here. Never. Only in the city, where everything was loud and overwhelming.
The store itself was pretty big - it was good for you, but confusing for Jack. You had Pinterest boards with inspiration for all your hypothetical future houses, whilst Jack couldn’t the difference between ivory and sand. So, true to character, he let you tighten your grip on his arm and drag him towards the kitchen section, eyes wide like a kid in a candy store. You had a green blank canvas to go wild on, because probably would have agreed to anything. It wasn’t that he was a walk-over, or because he was lazy, he was just genuinely terrible at interior design. Introducing him to build mode on the Sims 4 had been traumatic enough.
You didn’t have to decide anything immediately - after all, he’d said he wanted to move out here after he was done at Statesman. That was just as likely weeks as it was years. He did complain about his job giving him a bad back but you also knew that he enjoyed it. It was all he’d known for such a long time, and he’d worked hard to get to the top. Unbeknownst to you, he’d drop it all in a second if you wanted to relocate now. Even if he had the best job in the world and all the money he could ever want, the only thing Jack really needed was you.
‘Where do we even start?’ He asked, brown eyes staring confusedly at some paint samples.
‘We start with the most important rooms - living room, kitchen, bedroom.’ You replied. ‘I’m thinking something midcentury for downstairs. What d’you think?’
‘Midwhatnow?’ His brows furrowed.
You laughed. ‘Midcentury. So think...Bauhaus. Mid 60s sort of thing.’
‘Right.’ Jack nodded, getting a clearer idea. ‘How about you just to point to things and I’ll either shake my head or nod?’
Yeah, that sounded like a better idea.
And so, you began your trek around the store. Your Pinterest boards came in handy, especially for the kitchen - even Jack was grateful for them, because it meant you moved a little quicker. He did die inside a little when you grabbed a huge trolley and began piling it up with kitchen tiles, counters and cabinet doors, and even more so when you casually asked ‘you’re good at DIY, right?’
He didn’t complain though, not once. The sight of you rushing around the store, face lighting up at lamp shades and paint samples, was one of the best things he’d ever seen. Not only because it was hilarious, but also because it was the first time you really planned for your future. There was sort of an unspoken agreement that this was it, and that you were both in it for the long run, but neither of you had made any verbal plans together. You’d moved in together back in the city, but that had happened naturally. You’d started staying over and over more and more to sleep in his fancy Statesman bed and use his heavenly marble bathtub, and you came over one weekend and just never left.
After a few hours, Jack finally had to put a stop to your antics.
‘Okay, darlin’, I think we’ve reached the threshold now.’ He called. ‘We don’t need a new lighting fixture for the downstairs bathroom.’
You huffed. ‘Placing it back on the shelf.’
‘Fine.’
‘We’re gonna have a hard time getting in this car as it is.’ He held his arm out to you, signalling for you to come back to him.
‘I’ll have to come back for the upstairs then.’ You muttered.
‘We’ve gone from painting the kitchen to gutting the whole damn ranch, baby.’ Jack replied. ‘We’re only here for two more days anyways.’
‘Damn. I forgot about that.’ Your eyes widened. ‘I guess we better start today, then.’
--
This was supposed to be a relaxing weekend.
Relaxing!
And yet somehow, Jack Daniels was stood in the middle of his now half-demolished kitchen, a sledge hammer in one hand and a glass of his namesake whiskey in the other. He couldn’t deny that it had been fun to rip out the cabinets and tear off the tiles. He’d despised the colour of the kitchen for so long that it felt good to finally get rid of them, even if it meant that the tedious process of putting on the new ones came immediately after. You’d gone for simple black and white ones, with some mosaic ones for a...what had you called it? A feature wall or something. Apparently it added character (something he took your word for).
‘So what’s the paint for?’ Jack frowned, taking a brush as you handed it to him.
‘For the living room.’ You grabbed him by the shirt, dragging him out the kitchen.
‘But the kitchen isn’t done-’
‘- I’m bored of the kitchen.’ You said. ‘You don’t mind, do you?’
‘Course not, angel.’ He pressed a kiss to your forehead.
After grappling with covering the furniture up, you and Jack began to paint. It wasn’t too hard of a process; he just sort of whacked it on, whilst you had a much more meticulous process. So what if he got a splash of grey on the light switch? Actually, on second second thought, he should probably wipe that off.
Besides, it only took him five minutes to get sidetracked. The sight of you stood across the room, his red and black plaid shirt hanging from your shoulders, face screwed up with concentration and paint on your nose, was a distraction in itself. It was the sort of moment he wanted to get on a Polaroid, but equally, one that he wanted to savour. He always entranced by you, but sometimes that amplified. You weren’t even doing anything special - just...existing. But that was enough to capture his attention in its entirety.
He didn’t tear his eyes away from you - not until something cold hit him in the face, and a splatter of grey paint nearly hit his eye. The noise of your laughter pulled him back to reality, practically losing it as you doubled over, holding onto the fire place for support. You were lucky that it was his favourite sound but heck, you coulda dumped the whole bucket of paint on him and he wouldn’t have flinched.
‘That was rude.’ Jack folded his arms across his chest. ‘I’m gonna get you for that.’
‘No, you won’t.’
You dropped your paintbrush, suddenly leaping over the couch and sprinting out into the hallway. Trying to outrun a highly-trained government agent (a fact you sometimes forgot) might have not been your brightest idea, but you still managed to breeze past him and skid into the kitchen, almost tripping over a strewn tile as you did.
Jack was hot on your heels, arms reaching out to grab as you circled back into the living room. He managed to snatch you by the waist, pulling you down onto the sheet-covered couch - he was nice enough to use his own body to break the landing at least. You landed on his chest with a thud, still in a fit of giggles as he grabbed your face and planted kisses all over it. His lips were soft and warm, tasting of whiskey when they finally met yours. You tangled your hand through his hair in an attempt to bring him close, as though it were even possible.
You broke the kiss, rolling off of Jack and onto the sofa next to him, nuzzling into his side. The paint you’d managed to get on him was on you now as well, smeared down the side of your face and a little onto his shirt that you were wearing. Not that it bothered him all that much, because the sight of you in any of his clothes was worth a little bit of paint. You had a sort of rotation, where you would steal various garments and wear them until they lost his smell, before dumping them in the laundry and swiping some more. They were always baggy, scented with his aftershave and the faint smell of the leather from his car. When he was away on missions, it was the nearest thing you could get to one of his warm hugs.
‘Darling, d’you think, just maybe, that we should just pay someone to do all this?’ Jack gently suggested. ‘I can have a guy from the agency come in and be done in like three days.’
‘Three days? For the whole house?’ You peered up at him with a frown.
‘Their speciality is rebuilding places after we accidentally blow them up so this will be like a walk in the park.’ He explained. ‘Although, the kitchen isn’t far off. the place is lookin’ as messy as the farmers’ market after sundown.’
‘And Champ won’t mind you abusing Statesman resources like that?’ You teased.
‘The man is so rich that he buys a new boat when the other gets wet.’ Jack reminded you. ‘He ain’t gonna notice.’
‘You have a point.’ You nodded.
‘Besides, they’re better at decorating-’
‘- interior design.’ You cut him off. ‘It’s a house, not a Christmas cookie.’
Jack dropped his head against yours, letting out a groan. ‘You know what I mean.’
‘I know.’ You leant up to press another soft kiss to his lips. ‘I love you.’
‘I love you too, angel.’
Even though it was still a little far off, the glimpse that this weekend had given you into your future meant everything to him. He’d brought the ranch as a place to crash on business stays, and now you were helping to turn it into a home. At one point, he hadn’t imagine having a life to look ahead to or a house to decorate or somebody to love. Even though they were small, everyday things, you’d brought so much into his life, and he was never going to let you forget it.

Hit with a quirk! Hawkes X (F) Reader
(Been taking my time to write here and there, thank you so much for your patience and allowing me to take a short break from this series! For context since I haven't updated in a while; the pro heroes awere hit with a quirk that turned them into children and the reader is UA's adolescent quirk development specialist. she works with children regularly and has been called to help monitor the heroes until the quirk wears off. Hint: all of the fics I am writing for this series connect. Enjoy!)
(X)= your name
warnings: none
(I've never written or even read anything for Hawkes or Endeavor before but!...I'll try! I'm actually going to be loosely basing Keigo as a kid off my own little brother, I feel he would have been similar lol)
"Hey man lighten up, you're a walking lava lamp! that shouldn't be hard for ya big guy." Hawkes was hovering at Endeavour's eye level, wearing a smirk as he crossed his arms. Endeavour growled, glaring at the stubborn bird brained hero. "Hey what can I say it was a good burn." He added with a snicker. Endeavor swatted at Hawkes as if he were nothing more than a pesky mosquito. His phone was ringing.
"Silence!" He snapped, "The agency is calling." He answered gruffly; "what is the meaning of this? I am working on a case!"
"About that sir!" A voice nervously responded, "we were just informed that Eraserhead and Present Mic disappeared while in pursuit of a lead? Regarding that villain you were pursuing..." Endeavor growled;
"Do I look like a street patroller?! Just get a hold of Fatgum; tell him, and stop wasting my time we're professionals!" He grumbled under his breath; "since when did we come to a time where pro heroes needed babysitters?" His receptionist quietly explained;
"That's the problem sir...Fatgum as well as his intern were the first ones on the scene; but...they disappeared as well, and never made a report." Endeavor froze; what was this? The league? All for One? He narrowed his eyes.
"I see...the situation is alot more serious than I thought, thank you for notifying me. Ensure that the rest of our units continue as normal but have them on standby if things get out of hand."
"yes sir..." Endeavor hung up.
"Come on Hawkes..." He grumbled. "We have work to do."
---
Hawkes was flying high above the air, they were nearing Aizawa and Hizashi's last known location when he heard a loud shout. Keigo stopped, doing a double take. "HEY!" He looked down to see what looked like a group of kids being chased by some wierd looking guy in a purple cloak.
"Pick on someone your own size you psycho!" He shouted, swooping down and kicking the assailant square in the chest. He was knocked back into some garbage cans, making one of the boys cheer.
"Good hit mister!" Hawkes turned with a grin.
"Thanks, don't you worry I'll make sure you get home..." He froze, his eyes wide as he got a good look at the kids. One of the boys was chubby, wih a familiar wide grin. "...Fatgum?..." The kid with shaggy black hair that looked an awful lot like Aizawa suddenly screamed, pointing over Hawkes shoulder.
"HEY LOOK OUT!" The villain suddenly appearing and grabbing Keigo, not to mention Aizawa's shout startled poor Hizashi and he screamed loudly; bringing Keigo and the villain to their knees. In fear, the boy quickly turned and ran.
"Hey, wait!" Keigo tried to stand but the figure in the purple cloak hovered overhead with his boot planted on Hawke's back.
"Come on!" Taishiro quickly lead the others away after Hizashi, "we have to help him!" Hawkes couldnt move as he reached towards the kids.
"Dammit wait!" He froze as he felt a hand on his head.
"Nice try hero!" The last thing Hawkes saw was a cloud of smoke.
---
Keigo was aching all over when he opened his eyes, his tiny body picked up like a ragdoll as the villain lifted him by the scruff of his shirt. The rest of the events were a blur, a huge man that looked like a walking roman candle burst in and punched the villain but as he was picked up, the second that Keigo had touched the man's arm he too was surrounded by smoke.
The next thing Keigo knew, he was sitting in a waiting room with a group of other kids. All of them tired, one kid with particularly shaggy black hair was passed out on the tile floor snoring loudly.
---
"We made arrangements for Taishiro and Hizashi already; do you think you could handle Takami?" (X) shrugged.
"Sure, but if he gives me shit when this thing wears off I'm blaming you!" She chuckled, shaking her head. Nezu laughed, walking alongside her to the waiting room.
"Takami?..." (X) called, glancing around the waiting room. Her eyes fell on a kid with small bright red wings wearing a familiar dazed look. Nezu walked Keigo over, explaining that she was going to look after him for a couple days. The small eight year old boy looked right up at (X) with a deadpan expression.
"So I'm staying with that old lady?" (X) narrowed her eyes, even as a child he had a sharp tongue.
"Keep that up and I'll make you take a bath when we get back home." The boy immediately shut his mouth, remaining quiet until they got home. Keigo was very unimpressed upon arrival as he found himself coaxed into getting a bath anyway. Afterwards as he lay in bed with a sweater that was much too big for him however, even he had to admit he felt much better.
---
"I want chicken nuggets!" The boy declared, his feet on the table and his pitiful wings proudly outstretched. (X) rolled her eyes, he had come barreling into her room at 6am begging to be fed. "I'M STARVING!" He had insisted. She glared at him.
"No." Keigo scrunched his face up and crossed his as he crossed his arms.
"Yes!" He snapped.
"I said no." (X) sighed.
"Well...I said yes!" She smirked.
"That doesn't change anything! You can't have chicken nuggets for breakfast, you're not supposed to have your feet on the table so get them off, and get some manners while you're at it.." (X) grumbled, standing up to the sound of the coffee pot announcing a fresh brew of the nectar of the gods. (X) sipped her coffee slowly, mostly black but with a tiny dash of creme.
"I wanna try some!" Keigo hopped off the table, bouncing at her feet.
"Definitely not, now I am going to wash my face and then I'll make us some eggs okay?" Keigo nodded.
"Okay, eggs are good..." He watched (X) leave then slowly turned to the coffee pot.
(X) returned to find an empty mug left on the ground, a half empty coffee pot and Keigo laughing uncontrollably in the next room. She gasped, he was hanging upside down from the ceiling fan. "KEIGO!?" (X) shouted, running to detatch him. As she got closer Keigo's feathers got caught on the pull switch of the fan and before they knew it he was spinning uncontrollably, was flung off through the air against a wall.
The rest of the morning was no better, he was running around nonstop, even flying indoors and sending things sailing. The school owed her a new set of dishes to put it simply.
Eventually (X) admitted defeat, taking Keigo to the nearby park to blow off some steam. "This kid is going to be the death of me..." (X) moaned, leaning back as exhaustion washed over her. She found herself dozing off, her eyes growing heavy snd before she knew it (X) was asleep. It like it had only been seconds when she was woken to the sound of thunder. There was a very light drizzle but it would definitely get heavier.
Everyone else in the park had left, Keigo was standing on the bench beside her. He was attempting to use his tiny wings as an umbrella. "You look tired...can we go home?" (X) smiled, laughing softly.
"Well aren't you sweet. Okay."
Warm clothes, hot bowls of beef stew, and plenty of cartoons made for the perfect evening. By the end of their third film they had both fallen asleep on the couch, the tiny boy curled up beside (X) with her arms sleepily wrapped around him.
---
It was still the middle of the night when Keigo woke and was back to normal. It was unexpected, considering him suddenly being full size left him with no room on the couch and he loudly crashed to thw floor.
"mm...Takami?..." (X) mumbled, sitting up slowly. She looked at the floor to see Keigo, staring back up her. He could feel his face burning, the memories of the day flooding in.
"uhm...for what it's worth?...I don't actually think you're an old lady..." He mumbled slowly.
(X) smirked, shaking your head. "Come here you idiot..." Keigo curled back up on the couch with her. "So, you're not going to give me shit?" Keigo chuckled, she could feel his voice vibrate as he slowly pulled her into an embrace. His nose and mouth softly nuzzled into the top of her head.
"Maybe I'll wait a couple days first." (X) giggled, her face pressed into his chest.
"Maybe we should go on a coffee date."
Keigo laughed, "oh fuck off!"

The Scientist
Wow. It's been almost 5 years since I last wrote fanfiction on here. With the new fantastic season 5 out, I decided it was time I made a comeback. This is an idea I've had since 2016, but I truthfully couldn't figure out how to weave this web. Now, I think I do. Please enjoy, this really is my baby.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beth woke me up in my workroom at around 6am, just a little bit before heading off to school. She usually did this, as she had more motivation to cook us breakfast than I did. I was surprised to see a stack of pancakes sitting on the table when I came downstairs. She had set the table so perfectly, it never failed to make me smile. I rubbed my eyes and sat down, ready to dig in when she came back into the dining area from her room. She handed me some papers with a gleeful smile on her face.
“Dad, could you please sign these papers?” she asked me.
I raised an eyebrow as I looked at them, “volunteer work?”
She nodded, “yes, usually it’s a graduation requirement, but since I'm only a sophomore I need a parent’s permission to get it done early.”
Pulling a pen out of my pocket, I sighed, “Don’t you already have enough extracurriculars? Don’t spread yourself so thin, you’re only 14.”
She sat down on the chair across from me with a very stubborn look on her face. She wanted to be a surgeon so badly she was willing to waste so much of her youth on things that would look good on college applications.
“Dad, I'm about to be 15. I want to help people. Plus, if I volunteer for the hospital, they’ll know my face by the time I start medical school!” she seemed so excited for this opportunity. I put the pen to paper and signed. “just make sure your home enough to spend time with your old man.” I told her as I handed her the papers. She smiled at me, with a squeal of excitement escaping her lips. “thank you, dad!” she got up and hugged me.
I’d do anything to make my baby girl happy, even if it means I will see her just a little less.
Beth seemed to enjoy her time volunteering, coming home with a big smile every evening. She would tell me what she did in the day with a joyous look in her wide eyes. But as the weeks went by, those smiles turned to furrowed brows and worry in her eyes. She stopped telling me about her days. She would often shield me from her emotions, but I’ve never seen her this worked up about something.
“Beth, please. I-I know something is wrong.” I pleaded. We were seated at the kitchen table, after having a wordless dinner.
“Nothing is wrong, dad. I have a lot of homework,” she said, avoiding my gaze and my question. She began to gather the medical books she had placed on the table. I still pushed for an answer.
“Are you getting bullied? Are you concerned about your grades? Do you have too much on your plate?” I asked. My intention was to bombard her with questions to overwhelm her, to get her to spill. “is it a boy? It’s a boy, isn’t it? I could take care of him if you need me--”
“It’s not any of those,” Beth stated, her voice full of sorrow. She turned slowly and began heading up to her room.
I was at a loss for words. You could almost see how broken she was. It made me a bit insecure that she felt like she couldn’t talk to me about this issue that was clearly weighing heavy on her mind. Granted, since Diane passed away, I had thrown myself into my work, but I always thought I made enough time for Beth. Maybe not.
The next day I reached out to her teachers, and they shared the same concerns.
“Beth is an extremely good student. however, I have seen her slipping recently. I’m glad to see you’re reaching out, usually, I have to do all that.” her English teacher told me, then proceeded to complain about everything under the sun.
“She has seemed very depressed as of late. She’s been asking about sheet music for The Cure.” her band teacher informed me.
“She constantly carries a book about rare diseases and reads it during my lectures. We haven’t even reached that chapter yet!” her health teacher told me.
That last teacher made me raise an eyebrow. Rare diseases? Why would Beth need to know about rare diseases? I had a feeling and not a very good one.
The next day I took Beth to her volunteer hours, as she was about to get out of the car, I told her “I want to see what they got in store for you today. Mind if I tag along?”
She looked concerned, “I’m not sure if they’d let you…”
“I promise I won’t cause any suspicions," I said as I got out of the car, grunting a little. These bones sure aren’t what they used to be. As I followed her into the large beige building, the stale hospital smell hit my nostrils like a truck, as did the memories. This is the hospital Diane took her final breaths in. Beth may be too young to remember, but I sure as hell do. Some of the orderlies even look familiar, as they glance at us with what seem to be knowing eyes. They look at Beth’s dismal eyes, then look at mine—they just know something happened that shook our family.
We turned a maze of several corners which lead to a large orange elevator with the words ‘elevate your health!’ printed in big white letters. I rolled my eyes. Hospitals aren’t really places for much healing when it’s really needed. When we got in the spacious elevator, I got my first good look at Beth since we got out of the car. Worry as written all over her, she was desperately avoiding my gaze. Her small fingers twisting themselves in knots as she fidgeted. It was something here, it became blatantly clear. Her worry was contagious, as I suddenly felt a sharp stab of thoughts hit me.
The elevator dinged, I followed Beth toward a nurse’s station. The woman behind there smiled at us as we approached. Her red curls bounced as she got up from her rolling chair. Beth mustered a brave face, “Hello Nurse Bernice, this is my father, he wanted to see what I do here.”
The nurse looked at me, her deep amber eyes complimented her dark complexation, her smile lines very pronounced. She was probably late 30s, early 40s at the most. I almost forgot to introduce myself, “I’m Rick Sanchez. I just wanted to see what itinerary you have laid out for my daughter. She’s been coming home stressed recently.”
“Well, Mr. Sanchez, I don’t think we have too much on her sweet little shoulders,” she said as she grabbed a clipboard and handed it to Beth, who was smiling sheepishly. “Now Beth, you’re going to be checking in on your regulars this afternoon. Mr. Opiman got discharged this morning, so it’ll only be Mr. Marion and Ms. Doe.” Beth’s smile slowly faded, she nodded as she put on her badge. She looked up at me and motioned for me to follow her.
Her first ‘patient’, Mr. Marion, was fast asleep. “His chart mentions they upped his dosage of morphine as his surgical site had to be reopened today,” she said in a quiet voice, as not to wake him. She checked his vitals on the monitor next to his bed, and it suddenly became clear to me that she knew exactly what she was doing. She knew what all these terms and numbers meant. I stood there almost slack-jawed because I never realized how much of a genius my daughter was. I also realized Mr. Marion was probably not what has gotten her so worked up. She made notes on her clipboard and even gently checked on his surgery site, which was on his right foot. The blood had appeared to seep through his bandages earlier, leaving a stain on his sheets. The bandage on his foot was now clean. We left the room without waking her patient up.
We headed to the next patient room, and I could see that Beth was walking much slower. She opened the door, and the sunlight hit our faces hard. The woman was sitting up on the edge of her bed, staring out the window at the bright orange and purple sunset. Upon hearing us enter, she peered over her shoulder. Once she saw Beth, she turned toward us and beamed a big smile.
“Oh Beth, I’m so happy to see you!” Ms. Doe said cheerfully. Her voice was slightly deep and seemed very strained as though she had been screaming for hours. She had bruises all over her, including a black eye and what looked like handprints on her neck. She looked up at me and her mouth closed but kept a smile. Upon looking over at Beth, I was surprised. All those worries melted away, she seemed remarkably happy. “You must be Beth’s father. I’m Jane Doe, or at least that’s what they call me around here.”
I stood there entirely confused about what was going on.
