warning this is a bit gross so i'll put the photos under the cut but i think it's important because nobody told me about this before i started T

if you're taking testogel/any other T that you put on your skin, please for the love of god moisturise the skin you put it on

gel REALLY dries out your skin and as someone with dry skin anyway it caused my skin to flake and scab and break out more which has left a lot of scarring on my back/chest/shoulders

(yes, T causes acne anyway, but for me personally my skin didn't get that much worse after i started and it's improved since i've been moisturising more so that was the problem for me)

obviously there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with having acne or acne scarring or anything like that (it just makes me a bit insecure and means i have to put off getting tattoos there until it gets better), i just wish i'd started taking care of it earlier

also i would Never want to scare anyone off HRT if they want it because it's been a wonderful magical thing for me but there are some uncomfortable aspects of it and this is just one that i didn't know about

The thing that gets me about history and humanity is that you never know what is immortalized, and the things that will be immortalized are things you would never think.

I saw a person sharing a new tattoo, and it was one of Onfim's drawings. A boy who lived so long ago he is barely a blip now, but his drawings meant so much to people that somebody is now permanently marked in their skin with one of those drawings. Do you ever look at the things you make and just sit there and wonder if this is the thing that future people look at? Do you ever look at your art, your writing, your schoolwork, or anything that is yours and just wonder who will find it, who will fall in love with a piece of your humanity and become overwhelmed with emotion over? It's not unlikely. It's not totally unlikely that somebody will find a piece of you in the distant future and devoid of any other context of who you were will still love you because you were here. You were here, and you are still here, even hundreds or thousands of years later. Treat yourself with the same love that so many have for dear Onfim.

Batfam Blushing

Bruce flirts his way through every gala he doesn't want to be at, but anytime a member of the justice league, or the rouges, flirts with him he is so glad that he wears a cowl that covers most of his cheeks

Dick and Damian have darker skin the most of the batfam so you can't see anything, but when genuinely complimented Damian gets more staticy and embarrassed while Dick lights up

Speaking of lighting up- Duke glows. Like literally. You can't see any freckles on his face, but when he's embarrassed you can see little splatters of actual sunlight on his face

Jason doesn't blush. Unless it's Wonder Woman. In that case he does the little look down smile with the hand at the back of his neck

You try to make Cass blush by complimenting her and she gives you a soft smile and a compliment that makes you blush instead.

Steph doesn't blush easily, and if so only when she's really embarrassed less so flustered

Tim is a disaster. Steph's starting to think that his face is alway red. He blushes so easily, when he’s flustered, when he's embarrassed, when he gets really excited about something, when he gets worked up about something- Literally everything

The whole transandrophobia discussion thing is weird bc it feels like it's a bunch of poc and jewish trans people being like "here are my experiences of how specifically being MASCULINE had affected me, and the discrimination and violence I experienced based on that. And here is how that relates to me being a racial/ethnic minority"

Shockingly underrated thing about Leo is that he’s legitimately charming when he wants to be?

He’s the Faceman! He’s persuasive! That’s not just some random title he gave himself with no backing to it. People will listen to him. Even if they think he’s being annoying or if they’re upset at him, people listen to him anyway! There’s a reason his bros push him out front to talk to people, and when this happens, that talking nearly always works.

Moreover, Leo knows people. He looks at them and takes into account how they act and what they’re like as he makes his way through the conversations. It’s easy to forget this aspect of Leo’s character because he only brings it out when he really needs (read: wants) to, but it really is a notable part of him that always love to see.

And I say charm in particular because he has a knack for not only getting people to pay attention, but for getting people to stay and listen to what he has to say.
