okay quick context for this rq- this is an au where it diverges after freaking out- instead of possessing the truck, lewis ends up chasing the gang for a while, maybe a week or two? arthur and vivi don't know why this random ghost they met ages ago keeps going after them, but one things for sure- he really, really wants arthur's head on a spike.

cut to the present- arthur got separated from vivi and mystery, and lewis ends up chasing him into the woods!

Hi fanfic idea that I wanna write:

Victorian Newtmas au where Thomas is the rich son of Ava Paige and Newt is their new gardener

He falls hard for Thomas and one day starts giving him roses, saying it's an excuse to "brighten up Tommy's dull room"

He gives Thomas a purple rose which is like REALLY rare to grow and means love at first sight but ofc Thomas doesn't know this bc he's oblivious to flower language. With Newt's help, bc Thomas doesn't have a green thumb, he manages to keep it alive

But then some event distances them (arranged marriage to Teresa?? Ava catching onto Newt and keeping him away from Thomas??) and the purple rose eventually dies. The next time they meet, Newt replaces it with a fake blue rose which symbolizes unrequited love and the acceptance that love won't be returned

Thomas didn't think blue roses were real so he starts reading up on them. And that's when he discovers flower language and what the initial purple rose and now blue rose mean. And the whole time before that he's been grappling with his feelings towards Newt but this makes him realize "holy fuck he might like me and I just screwed it up"

Yada yada fast forward to them meeting in private, Newt about to give up on his feelings. All until Thomas gives him three red roses which in flower language means "I love you"

ok what if there was a zombie apocalypse au where newt is a crank but his brain is still intact due to a mutation,, like his body still (albeit at a slower pace) deteriorates like a crank, but he’s still mentally newt. thomas isn’t immune like him, and together they navigate through dilapidated cities teeming with cranks, scraping by with nothing but each other’s company.
