Who the fuck were the other people in attendance of the Annual Assemblage of the Glorified. What were their roles? Were they figureheads in Dema that we don't know about yet? Who were the fake Bishops?

I have so many questions.........

I need to know how Dema works with their social hierarchy & government. The Bishops are in control but who sits beneath the Bishops? Is it similar to a Catholic church set up? Which would make sense considering how each Bishop has their own "region", which could translate into a Parish, which would normally be overseen by Priests, then by Deacons, etc.

But if we go by the concept of this being akin to the way that works, then there would need to be a Cardinal above the Bishops, and then The Big Person.

So does that mean whatever happens with Clancy- will he step into the role of what a Cardinal would be? Or would it continue with the Bishopry? Or would be abolish the hierarchy as a whole and start over?

This is what's keeping me up at night. I never thought i would be diving into the Catholic church's hierarchy AGAIN for another band's lore AGAIN but here we are I GUESS.

Dema worldbuilding fic with Clancy as a weird, cryptid of a man scurrying around in the background is live. It's 10k words so far, so I figured I'd drop the first chapter while I continue to work on the next installments.

I don't intend to really focus on any sort of shipping. This is more of an exploration of the world Tyler's created for us. I wanna see how much chaos I can cause for it without drifting too far from canon.

Nico and the Niners + Forest.

Nico / the Bishops set Dema on fire, not Clancy or TB.

In Nico And The Niners, Tyler sings about "flying from a fire from Nico and the Niners", suggesting that the Bishops set something on fire, trying to capture him or delay him in some way, correct?

TyClancy did create a fiery diversion once ( HDS ), BUT WHAT IF

What if

Nico pulled an Uno Reverse? During the concert, when TB & Clancy are standing in front of Dema- it suddenly catches on fire with seemingly no actual trigger. They aren't doing anything other than standing there.

& there was no fire during Paladin Strait. Only the Banditø's torches.

What if- what *if*- Nico is setting Dema on fire as a final ditch effort- a fiery diversion- to thwart whatever plan is in place?

Which is where Forest ties in.
