PENNYWISE NSFW ALPHABET

Author’s Note: Haven’t done one of these in a while. I used to write for Pennywise often (I don’t really like my old Pennywise oneshots so they’re not posted here). If you didn’t know by now, I have a thing for clowns. And I’ve noticed a severe lack of Pennywise on this account and Tumblr in general. So here we go. Let the clown fucking begin lmao. (if you want me to expand on any of these headcanons, let me know)

Near the beginning of your relationship, Pennywise isn’t good at aftercare. But over time he can become somewhat more caring and affectionate. He’ll be there for you and make sure you’re okay. And he’ll stay with you for as long as you want. He’s also a big cuddler after sex.

B = Body Part (what's their favorite body part of theirs and their partner’s)

Pennywise thinks your entire body is fascinating, but his favorite part has to be your legs. He loves gripping them, pulling them around his waist, marking them, etc. If he had to pick a part on himself, it would be his hands. He uses them to hold onto you, scratch you, choke you if you’d like….yeah, it’s safe to say he likes using his hands.

I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment, intimately/romantically speaking?)

Pennywise is surprisingly very intimate. Not necessarily a romantic, but intimate nonetheless. Who knew this alien entity could get so into the moment?

J = Jack Off (masturbation headcanon)

Before he met you, masturbation wasn’t something on his mind. When he wasn’t hibernating his main focus was on hunting. But you came along and all of a sudden he feels the need to pleasure himself when you’re not around. Pennywise doesn’t masturbate often but when he does, it’s a sight to behold. Not opposed to quickies at all. They’re fun, what else can he say? He prefers to have more time with you though and given the option, will always pick a regular session of having sex.

R = Risk (are they up to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)

It really depends. Pennywise is already in new territory when it comes to having a relationship with a human. That alone is already a big enough risk in his opinion (especially considering the fact that he still has to occasionally suppress the urge to eat you). But if you introduce him to things slowly, he might be willing to take more risks.

S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)

Pennywise can go for hours at a time, especially if he just woke up from that 27-year nap. He can go for as many rounds as you’d like.

 

T = Toy (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

Pennywise doesn’t own toys. Doesn’t understand the use of them at first. Just another silly human invention. But if you propose using them, he would probably be okay with it. The best way to convince him is to use one on him. He’ll definitely understand their purpose better. He still prefers to not use them but he’s not against them.

U = Unfair (how much do they like to tease?)

When Pennywise is in more of a dominant mood, he’s relentless when it comes to teasing. Like I said before, he likes to edge you. He loves hearing you beg (and purposefully ignoring you). He likes to get you all riled up and pull away. Usually, he’s the one whining. But he can’t lie, he loves to hear you whine too.

V = Volume (how loud are they, what sounds do they make, etc.?)

This clown is very vocal in bed. Especially if he’s being submissive. He can quite literally become a blubbering, stuttering, whiny little mess. Grunting, moaning, growling, whimpering, sighing…you name it, he’s doing it. I wouldn’t describe him as super loud, just very vocal. But if it’s one of those days where he’s really, really desperate for his favorite human to touch him, he’s going to be loud.

W = Wild Card (a random headcanon for the character)

If it wasn’t already very clear, I headcanon Pennywise to be a switch. He can be dominant when he wants to be but he often leans towards the more submissive side. And even when he’s being more dominant and topping you, he’s very much a service top. He loves to please you and he loves when you do the same.

X = X-Ray (what's going on under those clothes)

There are a lot of different headcanons about what Pennywise has going on under that suit. I personally like to believe that just like Pennywise can change himself to anyone, I believe he can change his genitalia as well. He can change it based on your preference. But he also changes it depending on his own mood. Sometimes you might unbutton his trousers and find a milky, throbbing cock. It’s a little over 6 inches and has a nice girth but not too much. And he can adjust the size if needed. Other times, especially when he’s in a rut, you’re more likely to find something along the lines of a tentacle (or tentacles if you’d like). Flushed, slick, and throbbing. Hell, sometimes there will appear to be nothing there, just a mound of flesh. Don’t worry though, a slit will open up when he’s ready.

 

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive)

Before you came waltzing into his life, it was very low. Basically non existent. Pennywise didn’t need sex nor crave it. If anything, he was indifferent to it. The last thing he was thinking about was sex. But now it’s like you’ve got him under some type of trance. His sex drive has definitely been elevated. He doesn’t constantly crave sex but there are definitely times when he can’t keep his hands to himself.

 

Z = Zzzzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterward)

Pennywise stays awake a lot. He can go a long time with no sleep. But sometimes after sex he just feels so warm on the inside, so comfortable…sleep comes rather quickly. He really likes to lay on top of you, sometimes resting his head on your chest or stomach with your legs straddling around him. He likes to hold onto you and press his face into you, deeply inhaling as he drifts off.

How would fem Mello, near, and Matt be ? (Plus l and light?)

also near is already a girl to me and L and light could be with [shoves power drill behind back] some work, but i am going to assume you mean cis girls specifically. feel free to send a followup if not i love talking about dn characters as trans girls

anyway this got ridiculously long so under the cut it goes:

mello: since canon-mello is also gender nonconforming i can only assume this mello is butch as fuck. imo part of canon-mello's gender presentation at wammy's is a rebellion against the entire structure he's been trapped in, so fem-mello being a tomboy as a kid makes a lot of sense to me.

also i like to think both of them kind of hate their haircut by the time of the explosion and just cling onto it because they got so much flack for it in the past that it feels like Defeat to alter it now, and that they come to on the pavement barely-alive feeling like a cooked pizza and think to themselves "well i have an excuse to change my hair now." maybe fem-mello grows out her hair a little as experimentation who knows.

for the social aspect, first off it's less expected for girls to physically bully other kids. not that i think mello was a bully exactly but i mean stuff like pulling that one boy's hair while playing soccer ("hey, mello, that hurt!" "ha ha!"). however mello is charismatic and gregarious enough that she could probably get away with it without the usual social consequences.

roger and watari probably wouldn't have expected the two main candidates for successorhood to be girls, but since L is a girl in this reality and roger and watari don't seem to be that in denial, i figure near and mello would still be successors.

re: the mafia, mello would have had to work a thousand times harder to get them to take her seriously. i mean "bringing us the physical head of a mob boss" is pretty impressive already (imagining butch girl mello holding up a bloody dripping head and grinning at her audience like a wolf…) but since women are not historically part of the mafia (and it looks like this is the same case for rod ross's, since the women we see there are clearly entertainers) she would have a damn hard time actually getting a permanent position. she might have to do it from more of a independent contractor angle instead, racking up enough favors that she could have the social capital necessary to ask for their help getting the notebook.

what else… oh. out of the spk she chooses halle to stay with post-explosion because she'd be understandably cautious of staying with rester or gevanni as a girl. near obviously predicts this and so is even less surprised when mello hostage-marches halle back into spk headquarters.

also the kiyomi plan goes exactly the same lmao (stunning display of authorial misogyny but on an individual level i don't think mello was being sexist about it)

from like, a psychological point of view, mello's established need to Prove Herself would be pretty much the same during wammy's but skyrocket during her mafia era on account of the aforementioned mafia sexism. she would be willing to use her perceived gender as a way to get people to underestimate her but she would not be happy about it. (soichiro: "…mello… your name is… mihaela keehl?" mello, mouth pulling to the side: "surprised, yagami?") she would also be somewhat less willing to underestimate misa (who canon-mello calls a stupid girl while tailing her) but not that much less willing because honestly i think she would have a bit of not-like-other-girls internal misogyny in there.

near: speaking of people who have not-like-other-girls internal misogyny! (this is the best justification i have for why she calls kiyomi stupid)

i can't see much about near changing. she's still a loner at wammy's, she still pieces the kira case together by herself, she still gets an audience with the president (which she needed the spk's help for in the first place). i tend to imagine roger and watari with a fair dose of traditional paternalistic sexism so maybe roger would have been a closer mentor to her. then again, maybe not. as per htr, roger doesn't really like kids.

design-wise i think she would grow out her hair, though not to a-kira length. she likes braiding and unbraiding it as a stim but if her hair were too long she would start needing significant time to take care of it and good god she does not have the time for that! she's busy! otherwise i don't think her presentation changes much at all lmao.

i wonder what she'd think of light. would she also call light a stupid woman? would she gloat internally about the notebook swap plan? shrug.

matt: suddenly i understand why everyone makes up so much about matt. oh god. no i have to stay canon compliant fuck fuuuuck

okay yeah, fem-matt puts absolutely no effort into presentation or hygiene. still a gamer. doesn't bother disguising the fact that she's a girl while gaming so while people are saying slurs at her she runs circles around them and wastes them all in expert time. probably tomboyish but not, like, deliberately, her life just shakes out that way.

also she would not be third in wammy's house because her adhd would be undiagnosed. canon-matt says "it's so boring watching something that never changes" and is overconfident to the point where he steps out into a circle of armed guards with no visible fear, the adhd is practically canon and one of the, like, three things we know about him. i figure canon-matt got access to meds in wammy's but his insurance is fucked up so he stopped receiving them after graduation. fem-matt's adhd slips under the radar, as it does for most girls in real life, so she's probably around fifth place just because she doesn't have access to stimulants. sad!

also: matt calls misa "an awfully cute japanese girl" (i tend to think he means this in the way you would say kittens are cute) and says to mello "why don't you change places with me? at least you get to eavesdrop on a cute girl." now you could say that maybe fem-matt would use less objectifying(?) language but actually i choose to believe she'd be just as bad <3

L: looks The Exact Same. acts The Exact Same. i actually can't talk about fem-L for too long, i will explode. uhh. everyone in interpol is under the impression she's a guy because of her voice modulation. watari is more protective of her and more frequently chimes in during discussion over the computer during yotsuba arc, which L does not appreciate (even though she likes watari), she can handle herself fine, thank you.

backstory-wise, watari definitely took longer to catch onto how smart L was. "invest 1 million pounds please" "er… let's start with a thousand, perhaps." L is annoyed by this. possibly this means L as the detective identity was established later than it was in the canon timeline?

does she have internalized misogyny… tilts hand. i like to think she has less of it than the others, because the only indication we have in canon is her comment that naomi worked her way up in the fbi with "surprising speed for a woman" which you could just as easily take as acknowledgment of sexism in society. on a related note she would not put misa into torture bondage. (or would she……… hm. probably not.)

the task force would also take her less seriously, but oddly i think the dynamic shakes out similar to canon, in that soichiro (in this au where light is also a girl) would be the one to convince the others to listen to L (which is already his role in canon). she reminds him of his daughter and his daughter is wicked smart.

light: ahahahahahahahhahaaaaaa

okay. you should read original sin the cis girl light fic of all time. but here are my other thoughts:

light is gender conforming. i like to think she'd put her hair in a ponytail to come across as a Serious Girl™ but she wouldn't cut it short. she's mild. she's polite. she would not be able to get away with the shit canon-light does (like pointing at L or saying all receptionists look the same or, more seriously, pulling the seduction gambit with kiyomi) because she's constantly on the lookout against being perceived as a karen, a snake, a bitch, so on and so forth. i can't imagine her RSD would be any better than canon-light's so she does not cope well with being called any of that. the masking is raised to 1000.

"would fem-light be a misandrist or a pick me" both. she silently hates men like shibuimaru and she still helps with cases (notably Girl Detectives are a whole genre ala nancy drew) and in a deeply light yagami-esque simplification she sees that men are more likely to be registered as criminals and concludes that men are more likely to commit crimes because of socialization and therefore men are terrible. however she also hates girls like the ones in chapter 1 going out to drink alcohol with a burning passion. the world is so against women already, why are you playing into their stereotypes, she wants to scream, while she plays into the stereotypes herself (but that's Different because she knows she is doing it for a Good Reason). she's light yagami and she sucks. what im saying is that she hates everyone

also i think an underrated part of canon-light is the way his first arc sexism often manifests as chivalry. ("this is the first time i've ever seriously wanted to punch a girl…") fem-light, on the other hand, is also fiercely protective of her family but in less of a gendered way. canon-light's conviction that he can decide what's best for the entire world is So reminiscent of "men of the house" deciding what's best for a family (jabs finger at soichiro). i think this is less true of fem-light, who, to make up for not being as motivated by this, is just a ball of sheer rage all the time. how dare the world be like this? why can't anybody see? why is everyone so fucking stupid? like canon-light but even worse. in fact i can see the cis girl version of manga light starting out like anime light, glaring out the window instead of just staring quietly.

much like mello i don't think light would be able to stomach pulling off the "of course i'm not a murderer, i'm just a girl!" shtick. (i'm of the opinion fem-light would feel murderous rage about people who say "i'm just a girl.") however she does invoke it constantly by dressing nonconfrontationally, gender conforming, etc etc — which is all stuff she did before becoming kira, so.

part of why she fixates on L is because L seems to look past the entire good-girl act to be like well yes yagami-kun is probably a murderer. she would feel even more weirdly seen than canon-light already does.

misa, upon meeting light, would be shocked that light's a girl. immediately sizes light up as a potential threat because other girls are less taken in by her whole cute demeanor than men are… i will not go into this i think the first!kira kiyomi post touches on mostly the same points (although unlike with kiyomi i think misa would give fem-light her death note still)

also, light has to work harder to convince the task force to let her take over L's position after she kills L, since the task force is like nooo light-kun this is Dangerous why would you Do This you can go back to a normal life now!! light cannot afford to play "idk if i really should…" the way she can in canon, she will have to be like "I Am Going To Avenge Ryuzaki."

the task force's suspicion of her in the second arc would also be extremely gendered i can't explain how but the vibe would be so different. also matsuda would attempt to flirt with her. and of course the entire kiyomi seduction arc goes off the rails so badly that i'm not sure light would even try it in the first place, she would probably just do it from a "reunion between college friends" point of view?

oh and mikami! hmmm. i wonder if fem-light would want to pick a woman to send the death note to. can we cisswap mikami too i really want girl mikami… i will not clog up your ask with this though. i feel like fem-light would get more high off worship than canon-light does because fem-light doesn't get validation as easily. i also think that phone call they have would make mikami go god is a woman??? and spend 5 seconds having a crisis about this before folding it into his worldview like well of course she is. i knew that.

and uh… her ponytail unravels during the warehouse confrontation, 'cause symbolism

As a Max fan, I do admit that Max isn't perfect and I absolutely adored Lando before especially with his friendship with Max and Carlos. Lando is getting hated mainly because of the things he says and some of his actions. One was the trump thing, second, was when Max was congratulating him and he decided to snitch despite the race being over (not a big issue for me personally cause all drivers snitch). Third is the way he acted when he won the Dutch GP especially when he decided to use Max's catchphrase (I know it wasn't Max's before), most of us found it rude especially since well max's catchphrase and Lando saying that seemed as if he was mocking Max and the worst thing was it was Max's home race. Fourth, the cooldown with Lewis when Lew was merely being nice and he decided to somewhat insult him (I feel insulted despite Lewis saying it was fine). Fifth, When he called Max's win in Brazil luck not talent, I mean luck was a part of it but talent had a much larger contribution. Sixth, when McLaren fucked up and he made his engineer beg for Lando to give the place back to Oscar despite him being only there because McLaren fucked up and Iscar was doing an excellent job defending (Fuck Mclaren strategy tbh). Seventh, podium in Hungary ('twas fucked up) Oscar couldn't even enjoy his win because Lando was the center of attention despite Osc having a phenomenal drive. Eight, when Oscar had to give up a win (it was a sprint but it was still a win) just for him to lose big time from Max. Ninth, when Oscar once again had to back off to give Lando a chance to catch up to Max but he couldn't pass Charles. Tenth, this is mostly due to how the FIA has been acting. They have been acting like a knight and shining armor for Lando, especially during the quali. This is not hate, I do think he is a contender for this season, the way he's been acting is somewhat the problem. (I think I have more but this is enough lmao)

there's a lot to be covered here so i'll answer the ones that caught my eye.

3) now that i've thought about it, i'd understand why max fans in particular would be mad about it. max coined the phrase, his friend essentially used it to take a dig at him. me personally, if this is what you're getting so seriously pressed about then i actually don't know what to say. this is a sport, shithousery will ensue between friends, enemies, acquaintances— everybody. it's not like lando completely ridiculed and encouraged any more hate towards max; i don't know if i can say the same for max, though.

4) that one i felt taken aback by it too. don't know why he said that, it's definitely something he could've avoided saying. but if lewis isn't bothered about it, i'm not going to be. if he was, i certainly would be and will hold lando accountable (i still do anyways)

5) this is so palpably hearsay and i cannot believe you still think this. at this point, i feel like a broken radio trying to reason with you guys and tell you that that is not what he meant. i'm sure you've come across people explaining what the actual meaning is, so let's not sit here and still believe this foolishness. if, for some reason, you still don't get it, there's a post here that explains it perfectly.

6 and 7) you are talking all about unrightful lando wins, but didn't lando have to give his place up for oscar? oscar didn't overtake lando by his own will and win, so why won't we use that against oscar? some people do, but we all know it was mclaren's fault for putting them in that position. they could've easily let them stay where they are and fight for p1, but they didn't and that is how it panned out. after them guilt tripping lando into giving the place back, are we still blaming lando for this? i know you shouldn't be because as you said, 'fuck mclaren strategy'.

8) mclaren were seemingly championship contending... up until they claimed they weren't after the brazil gp (honestly, odds were stacking up against them that they weren't because they kept fucking up more than they should've). i can tell you are either quite ignorant or haven't been a fan for long, because it seems you are too used to someone winning the championship by their own merit because of the very pitiful gap in performance between the red bull drivers, but forget that many championships have been won with the help of teammates, one of the most infamous being lewis and valterri. oscar giving up his place was to help lando (who's higher in the standings between the 2) get more points and close the gap. it wasn't a rightful sprint win, we are all aware, but that's how this sport works.

10) i was going to go hell on this take, but @landhoe-norris worded it perfectly in their post:

"Imagine thinking that an organisation that rigged a race so that your favourite drivers would win a championship, an organisation that has allowed him to run other drivers off the track for the past three years without repercussions, is now being biased against him because he ‘has the wrong passport’ when in all seriousness your favourite driver is the epitome of ‘white privilege’ and has been since he stepped into the sport."

there's nothing more for me to say.

all in all, lando is not as bad as you guys make him out to be. if anything, max, in my opinion, is worse. and looks like he'll always be.

I saw a fanart recently of Hua Cheng painting Xie Lian but I had to readjust my eyes because at first glance I thought it was Mei Nianqing painting the Crown Prince of Wuyong.

Which he does at like, book 7 or 8, I don't remember, I was trying to study for government while reading the book. Mei Niangqing paints murals of Jun Wu and his four vassals around Mt Tonglu so Xie Lian and his gang can find out the truth.

Many readers did establish already that Xie Lian is Jun Wu's mirror/foil because like that was what leads Jun Wu to be obsessed with molding Xie Lian to be like him. They're too alike, it's almost eerie, but let's be honest, Jun Wu was rigging Xie Lian's fate so he will end up like him. Let's focus on HC and MNQ

That being said, here are some scenes I remember that kinda mirrors MNQ and HC:

Mei Nianqing makes art of Jun Wu, in reverence and remembrance of him. Hua Cheng does the same. However, their stances are different. MNQ is wistful about it, HC is more like manifesting his gege into reality and manifesting their marriage.

MNQ and HC both stayed with their princes. MNQ stayed even if the other three vassals left because they were friends and he didn't know JW murdered their other three buddies. However, he left JW the moment he found out abt that. HC stayed with XL and followed him everywhere, even willing to die for his prince, even if it meant dying multiple times.

They were both separated from their hubbies.

MNQ has known Jun Wu in all his eras, and HC has known XL in all his eras too, but maybe only from a distance.

Despite everything Jun Wu and Xie Lian did, MNQ and HC still wanted to stay by their side and remember their true selves. RIP Jun Wu and his mountain tho lmao. MNQ kinda confirmed it for me when he asks Jun Wu after his defeat (not a direct quote btw): Aren't you tired, Your Highness? I just miss how things were. HC tells XL that "what matters is you." The only difference was that MNQ made a choice and worked against Jun Wu while HC consistently made the effort to be there for XL.

I will say tho, TGCF has this theme of breaking the cycle of abuse and recovering from trauma — Xie Lian choosing to go against Jun Wu, MNQ holding Jun Wu accountable for his crimes, Hua Cheng becoming someone strong so he will never feel unsafe just as he did in his childhood, Lang Qianqiu swearing that he will never be like Xie Lian and then having to revive Qi Rong so Guzi will never have to live the pain of losing one's dad, Mu Qing finding the courage to reunite with old friends, Qi Rong learning to be the person he wanted to be there for him— to name a few, I will probably have separate posts for this.

I guess in Heavenly Official's Blessing, they did shatter taboos.

Genuinely curious as to if you asked permission to use Rachel’s characters and she said yes or if you just decided Lore Olympus is popular enough to make a fan comic of and are hoping you don’t receive a cease and desist? Can anyone create a remake comic of original content and just change what you don’t like about it and it’s considered legal if you say the characters belong to the original creator? There is plenty of disappointing media out there that could be remade. I understand you cannot use their characters for profit so is just posting it ok?

Yes, anyone can, because it's called fanfiction lmao Obviously in my case the term "fan" is being used loosely here as at this point it's more like "foe"fiction LMAO but the same principles apply. Unless I try to claim LO is my own creation or make a profit off Rekindled, I should be in the clear. If legal action was taken against me then it would set a precedent against all forms of fanfiction, rewrite, redraw, etc. content around LO which are all essentially doing the same thing Rekindled is doing. I think people tend to view Rekindled as somewhat of an "exception" that's vulnerable to legal action because it's an actual weekly comic put into practice in the same playing field as LO (though they're on massively different bases obviously LOL), but there's not much more separating it from the LO redraw accounts or even the genuine fan accounts that have learned how to draw in Rachel's style (and use it to make their own LO self-inserts and whatnot). I had the time and resources and experience to do what I do through Rekindled, but every redraw, rewrite, fanfiction, etc. account are making the exact same statement I am, whether intentionally or not - "I do/don't like the canon, but/so here's what I think it would be like if it went like this".

There is definitely plenty of media out there that could be remade, and a lot of them are by the fanfiction writers out there who are filling that niche within their respective fandoms. LO is the one I want to do because it's the one that interests me and compels me the most to rewrite.

Not to mention, it's already a bold statement in and of itself to say that I'm "using Rachel's characters", a statement that likely wouldn't hold up in court LMAO Her "characters" are literally just stylized self-insert versions of public domain figures. She did not write The Hymn to Demeter. She did not create Hades, or Persephone, or Hecate, or any of the other characters she writes about. She does not own an entire religion or its deities. The only thing that she really "owns" is the licensing rights to the name "Lore Olympus", and while the style of LO is very unique and identifiable, you can't trademark/copyright a style because that uproots the entire foundation of what art is (ironically no one has had an original idea SINCE the Greeks, we all just learn and adapt our styles based on other artists that we get inspired by and learn from).

Shit, there are series completely unrelated to LO that get harassed or otherwise warned that they could cross into "legal territory" with LO just because they're Greek myth comics. Punderworld, Theia Mania, H x P Ficlets, all of these are comics that also tackle the H x P myth, and while they aren't attempting to do the same thing as Rekindled (as they exist on their own terms) it's really disappointing when I see people talk about these comics purely through the scope of Lore Olympus as if LO invented Greek myth. If WT/Rachel tried to pull rank over the story's "characters", they'd be picking a fight with every other Greek myth comic, book, movie, etc. and they oughta know that's not a fight they're gonna win lol

So everything beyond LO's branding is, in and of itself, fanfiction. Rekindled is just another level deeper by being fanfiction of a fanfiction. As long as I'm not profiting off Lore Olympus' namesake or distributing my work with the misconception that I created LO, it's legally fine. Morally, I'm sure it doesn't exactly make me a saint to do it, it definitely took a lot of hubris for me to say "yeah I don't like how you wrote your story enough that I felt the need to rewrite it completely" and I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking doing so is icky. There are certain lines I won't cross - I don't use the general LO hashtags because my content is very critical and my work isn't really for the fans, I don't encourage anyone to "show Rachel" what I do here because none of what I do here is obligated to be seen by her (and I know it wouldn't be in her best interest to see it anyways, she's literally said that she doesn't like criticism so why tf would I wanna show her a comic that exists to criticize her work lol), and I'm not planning on posting it to Webtoons because that's Rachel's territory. I don't want to overstep both in the legal sense and in the moral one. I think it's more than enough for me to just post my stuff here for the people who are seeking it, and not profit off it or directly affiliate it with LO/Rachel beyond crediting.

All that said, in a moral and legal sense, what I'm doing is literally the basis of fanfiction, and I wouldn't be going to such lengths and spending this much time every week putting out episodes every week if I never cared about LO and how it made us all feel, even if some of us don't love it as much as we used to.

One thing about you, you never know how to hold yourself accountable for anything. It’s sad to see. And so if you’re being critical of Claire’s writing, why are you sending unnecessary hate towards her character, instead of being like hey, you know what, i’m not going to hate on this fictional character for existing this way and I’m going to discuss issues that I think exists within the writing. Focus on the writing then because Claire hasn’t done anything wrong within the narrative, but exist. The reason why people are fed up, is because it’s always YOU. I also do believe Claire is written the way she is for a reason because I’ve come to that conclusion after I’ve listened to the podcasts and read the interviews. Your hate comes from Claire getting in the middle of Syd and Carmy and you refuse to acknowledge that. You may criticize Carmy, but that doesn’t mean your hate for Claire isn’t disproportionate and unwarranted in comparison. Also I am the first person to drag anyone who comes for Syd, no problem. And showing a tiktok where they say “thought daughter” (referring to someone who has a capacity to overthink or someone intelligent) instead “thot daughter” (another way to call someone a hoe) I mean really? Choose a better video, but yes, everytime I see Sydney hate or misogyny, I say something every damn time. I’m against misogyny towards ANY of these female characters and I stand on that. I’m not criticizing you without checking my individual behavior.

I think you need to go outside and maybe touch grass if you really getting this fed up over Claire, a fictional character, being called male-centered lmao. It's not always me, I see people posting against Claire all the time. A lot worse things actually. I'm apparently the only one relevant enough to rile up my block list to come to her defense though I guess. My "hate" (criticism) comes from her being flat out boring, only existing to further Carmy's plotline, and people just pretending like she herself hasn't done any questionable things in the series and like she's somehow the singular flawless human in that universe. Even if Sydney didn't exist, I would still find her to be an annoying character and centered around just being in a relationship with a man. The fact that Sydney does exists is what actually makes Claire a somewhat interesting character to me. Cause so much of her is just about being a knockoff Sydney for Carmy. If that's considered misogyny you write Chris & Co a letter with all your grievances.

I fucking love love love music so I do post quite a bit about it, lol. Plus, I have thought about doing something like what @ixalit did with sharing all his playlists (that are *chef's kiss,* by the way. I have discovered many songs through those playlists 👀) but my Spotify, that I've had for years, is connected to my actual name that I'm not willing to share on Tumblr with this type of fandom account, lol.

I know I could make another account and transfer my playlists to a fandom specific account, but... that's a lot of work. I don't know if I'll do that, lol. If enough people were interested... maybe?

Besides, I don't really have a single playlist I write to. I just throw on whatever and write. Sometimes, I seek out specifically explicit music when I'm writing smut but usually not. Usually, it's whatever that I was playing the last time I had the app open or whatever I'm feeling that day.

And my music taste is a mess haha, I'm all over the fucking place with music. I think if I had to pin it down, my musical soft spot has always been for heavier sounds. Aggressive, heavy shit like all types of metal, rock, and punk have always appealed to me; they're the sounds I always fall back on. That said, though, I also love all types of other sounds, too. Hip hop, indie, jazz, industrial pop, electronic, etc.

Bands, though, yeah. Goddamn, I love bands! I also follow a ton of individual artists, but there's something about bands.

Seasons Greetings 2016

My thoughts and commentary as I watch Seasons Greetings 2016! I asked if people wanted me to post my thoughts as I watched and the majority did, so here we are. There is only the one making DVD in this package, just 45 minutes long. The other part of this was just the photobook and extra merch. Reminder that these are just my thoughts, it's not very organized. You get me typing it out as I go like I'm reacting to a friend. Somewhat like a bullet point format in a way. Here we go!

I'm not totally sure when this was filmed but based on their hair, I would put this probably somewhere around September or October of 2015. If anyone knows for sure, let me know!

Immediately starting out the video with Jimin introducing that they are filming for SG2016 and then introducing him and JK in matching minion fits (why though?! Jins message to himself was about how he worked hard, how the only person who needs to know how hard he is working is himself too. Jin has been telling us we are only accountable to ourselves and living by example since the get go. An incredible role model. Tae is so sweet. His goals included buying a new house and new car for his parents and getting to go meet up with them for family trips. He also wanted to go on a trip with the members, no managers or staff, just the 7 of them together 🥺 I hope they got to do that

They are so cute always when they play games, especially whenever they get things right. The celebration dances are always amazing! Lol JK won and got the title of Spring King. Hobi won and got the title of Summer King. Jin won and got the title of Fall King. And finally Tae won and got the title of Winter King. The Kings play a ladder game for prizes and Jimins super cute little "Jungkook, I support you!" 🥺 Tae and Jin win Korean Beef, poor Hobi got the burner space, JK wins the Abalone. They are all so cute with all the teasing too. Everyone saying they will share the Abalone and fruit too, prompting a "Jungkook is the best" ending mention.

Ending the video so sweetly with messages to ARMY for birthday cards and new years greetings 🥺 they are all working so hard too, even as they tease a bit about their drawings. God of Luceras | Andrea

Inspired by me lol. I just replace some stuff and change the colors to be a bit lighter? Also, change their color to fit their powers or fav colors or something. I change Andrea's hair highlight to be my main oc's hair highlight color. "But wouldn't the peeps find out Andrea's identity?" Well, my ocs haven't seen her true form except for the other Gods. The chain or gem thing or something is attached to the ribbon on the back in case you guys are confused btw.

Fun Fact: She disguised herself as a teenage girl because she wants to experience youth again.

God of Flowers | Kai

He cute now 😳 ehe. Inspired by Venti from Genshin Impact and also inspired by meh crush who is also my classmate. Gave him more flowers and match some stuff with Andrea. (Light red or pink color scheme and the shoulder thing). Put a green hair highlight on him. I could have just left it black because his fav color is black soooo... His height and personality are inspired by him and his relationship with Andrea is inspired by mah dream to be best friends with him.

Inspired by my ex-crush who is also my classmate lmao. I only did little changes like the hair highlight. (I made it magenta because his fav color is magenta). And I think maybe some color scheme changes. His color scheme is inspired by him because I see him wear blue, gray, black, and white. The opposite personality (?) He's serious but the person from who I took inspiration doesn't care about the world ehe.

Inspired by my old main oc who is an angel and meh classmate. If you scroll down to my posts my old main oc is an angel and her final form looks somewhat like Vesper (And Andrea too). I gave her a flower thing because of lore. Her long hair is inspired by mah classmate and mah classmate's personality is inspired by her color scheme. Her personality reminds me of the sun so I gave her yellow and her title too. She has four wings btw. (Two on her head and two on her back).

Fun Fact: She and Zuhr are rivals because of one argument.

Goddess of Pages | Ethelind

Ethelind is inspired by mah classmate. Her looks and IQ are inspired by my classmate. My classmate is smart so I took inspiration from that. I gave her a red scarf and I think that's all of the changes. I chose Goddess of Pages because this one time we were studying for the exam I saw her take out a lot of pages about the lessons so yeah I took inspiration from that. Her personality is also inspired by her.

Fun Fact: She made a school with Andrea and made the history of Luceras in one book which she is holding right now.

Goddess of Flowers | Flora

Flora is not fully God (Demigod) but I decided to join her here and yep made a lot of changes to Flora. I put a lot of flower accessories on her to match her title. She is not inspired by anyone because I just made an outfit that has a lot of flowers and decided to make an oc on that outfit. The chain or gem thing on the back is connected to the flower sleeves and puts a see-through scarf around her. And gave her a hat with flower ruffles around it. Also, Demigods' pupils are also star-shaped but black. (Ahem Haru). She is a Demigod because Kai and Flora's mom is a mortal and their dad is a God. (The God of Spring, he's ded btw).

OKAY SO. SONIC COLOURS/MEGA MAN CROSSOVER

i don't have much in mind story wise, but i'm thinking it takes place under the same conditions as worlds collide, which i insist on believing also happened nearly identically offscreen in the game timeline because nobody can tell me otherwise. fairly basic setup of eggman and wily teaming up to cause problems on purpose and sonic and rock working together to stop them, and now there's wisps in the mix >:O i'm sure i could think up a fun excuse plot for why sonic colours happens twice and also mega man is here now, but mostly this was just an excuse to put the special interest in the hyperfixation and come up with some fun weapons for rock based on my first and favourite sonic game

each robot master is based on a wisp from either version of the original colours, which causes a little confusion given that you end up with two burst men and drill men but these ones have different EWN-XXX serial numbers and are entirely unrelated to their canon mega man counterparts. i haven't actually drawn the robot masters yet or thought up designs or personalities, just come up with their weapons and what stage they'd inhabit, but maybe i'll do that sometime. the robot masters are something like this

i wrote up some really detailed information on how all the weapons work but i'll put that under a cut to prevent this post from getting too long! if you don't feel like reading massive paragraphs of game design ideas, here's the microsoft paint scribblings i did of all of them [sonic is there too]

BURSTING BLAZE

a chargeable attack that blasts out a sphere of fire to deal damage. charging it longer sends the fire out further and increases its damage output, but costs more weapon energy. without any charging it's a pretty standard low-range attack, but at maximum charge it functions as a screen nuke on par with the likes of rain flush, tornado blow, or astro crush. if rock takes damage while charging bursting blaze, he'll automatically release it at whatever charge level it was at when he got hit. in addition to the obvious usefulness of a fucking screen nuke, a less- or uncharged bursting blaze can be a handy way to quickly get some personal space in a tight situation.

cost: 1 unit when uncharged, 7 when fully charged [28 uses uncharged or 4 fully charged from a full gauge]. has five in-between charge levels costing 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 units from least to most powerful.

i came up with this name first because i wanted it to have blaze in it because i fucking love blaze the cat.

ROCKET JUMP

an explosion that launches rock much higher than a normal jump would take him, about the height of one screen. in addition to the explosion at the bottom dealing damage, rock's body deals contact damage until his upward momentum stops, which tears through enemies with low health or a weakness to rocket jump but doesn't protect him against bulkier foes or stage hazards. while he can still move left or right while rocketing upwards, the only way for rock to stop moving upwards is to either naturally run out of momentum, hit a ceiling, or take damage.

some platforms can only be reached by using rocket jump.

cost: 3 units per use [10 uses from a full gauge]

obviously a joke based on the rocket jump technique in a lot of video games, lmao. rock blows himself up and ragdolls so hard he clips out of the interstellar amusement park and sonic watches as he falls past every kill plane and into infinity forever

DRILL DASH

a dash attack slightly faster than the slide going straight down, sideways, or diagonally down-left or down-right, similar to the pile driver but shorter and without upwards reach. has fairly low attack power, equivalent to two mega buster shots, but pushes surviving enemies back, allowing them to be hit again and again with a chain of drill dashes. underwater, it moves significantly faster and further, and can be fired up as well as down, unlocking eight-directional dashing.

if rock hits a solid wall he'll bounce off of it, but if he hits certain types of dirt-like walls he'll drill into them, which can uncover helpful items like health and weapon refills and occasionally 1-ups or e-tanks [probably in scripted locations].

cost: 2 units per use [14 uses from a full gauge]

i've never played mighty no. 9 but i've seen footage of like the dash thingy he can do? because it probably looks kinda like that.

HOVERING SHOCKWAVE

fires a shockwave that doesn't hurt any more than a standard mega buster shot [unless the enemy in question is weak to it], but stuns most enemies and has a fairly decent range. if you fire it in midair and then hold down the attack button, rock's falling speed will decrease dramatically, and he'll continue to float until either he hits the ground, the attack button is released, or he takes damage. hovering will cost additional energy, and if hovering shockwave is used in midair it can't be used again until rock hits the ground at least once.

cost: 1.5 units per use [19 uses from a full gauge], plus an extra 3 units per second of hovering, for a total of a little under 9 seconds of hovering taking the initial shot into account.

this one's pretty directly lifted from the hover wispon in sonic forces.

PRISM LASER

a laser projectile that either bounces off or goes through anything it hits a set number of times, maybe three to five. if it destroys an enemy its movement is unchanged; if it hits a wall or an enemy that doesn't immediately die to it then it bounces instead. can be fired in all eight directions, but once fired its trajectory is out of the player's hands. basically imagine gemini laser, then imagine it being obscenely better in every conceivable way. best used in enclosed rooms where it can bounce around a lot and doesn't have much opportunity to get lost offscreen.

some rooms have prisms in them like the ones in colours that automatically redirect prism laser, guiding them to destroy enemies blocking paths and the like.

cost: 6 units per use [5 uses from a full gauge]

cyan laser was my favourite colour power when i was a little baby because haha bright colour funny sound go wheeee. prism laser is probably overpowered because of this bias lmao.

CUBIC SATELLITE

summons four [?] orbiting cubes that shield rock from one hit each. they deal damage to enemies they touch unless said enemy is immune to the power. standard shield weapon, blue cube is a lame overly situational gimmick and i couldn't think of anything better. rock can still fire and charge his mega buster while shielded, but obviously can't use any special weapons. every time a cube is destroyed, the remaining ones spin faster, looking something like the tubinaut badnik from sonic mania. that's just a visual effect i don't know what else to write here it's a shield weapon.

cost: 3.5 units per use [8 units from a full gauge]

i think i'd like shield weapons more if i knew how to use the attacking ones to actually attack. i used leaf shield about 3 times in mega man 2 and every time i flung it in the wrong direction and got hit anyway.

FRENETIC VOID

sucks in any enemies that rock is facing for as long as the attack button is held down, drawing them to a point just in front of him. when released, the blasters on his arms [which in this form morph to look like the purple frenzy mouth] crunch down in front of him, dealing slightly more damage than a charged mega buster shot to anything that's been pulled in close enough and knocking back anything that isn't destroyed. rock can't move while using frenetic void, and if anything hits him while he's vaccuuming he drops the move without the finishing bite or knockback. this move can also draw in most types of bullets, which are absorbed and disappear if they reach the void, or continue in whatever direction they were pulled in if the move ends before they get there.

cost: 3 units per use [10 units from a full gauge]

i thought it'd be cool to combine purple frenzy and violet void somehow. i used void for the robot master name because i believe in sonic colours ds port supremacy, but the decision was ultimately pretty arbitrary.

SPIKE SPIN

what top spin wishes it was. a close-range attack where spikes emerge from rock's body as he does a speen, giving him a somewhat bigger hitbox. when he hits an enemy, he bounces off of it in a manner similar to the way sonic bounces off of everything he hits. the move lasts as long as the attack button is held down, draining weapon energy over time, and rock can still walk and jump while speening. some projectiles will bounce off of spike spin [generally small bullets like those from mets or sniper joes will bounce off while anything stronger will still hurt], and holding the move makes rock immune to spikes, allowing him to walk over them safely until his weapon energy depletes.

some items may be tucked away in places that are difficult or impossible to reach without walking over spikes, requiring the use of spike spin to reach them.

cost: 4 units per second, for a total of 7 seconds of spinning from a full gauge. the first unit is depleted the moment the button is pressed so the move can't be scummed into lasting longer.

honestly now that i'm thinking about this i might change spike spin to act a little more like how pink spike spindashes, but i was overcome by a desire for justice for top man.

So I’m kind of new to the fandom. I’ve been casually watching the show for a couple years now but only recently got into the fandom side. And I have to say, never in my life have I seen so much drama and toxicity in one place. I’m ashamed to admit that I’m enjoying the drama though lol.

Before I start though, I personally believe you can make anyone sound problematic if you try hard enough, we’ve all done and said stupid things, but when you decide to become famous you should be ready to be held accountable for the smallest things, not saying it’s right. It’s just how things are unfortunately.

So far I’ve decided that I just don’t like Jared and Danneel,did you know she used the same bullying tactics that Jared has used? I saw a screenshot from her story where she called someone out for... being mean to her? I can only hope the poor girl is ok after her dms were most likely flooded with angry stans. And she just seems so tacky, it’s really obvious if you take a look at her tweets from a decade ago, this woman does not have the potential or capacity to be any kind of famous.And honestly I think one of your anons were right about J2 being trumpies, especially Jared, I was looking for dirt on him and the guy said in a tweet that cracker is a slur? So far everyone I’ve met who had those kind of ideologies turned out to be somewhat of a racist so idk. As for Jensen, he seems to be a bit smarter in the sense that he knows when to stay quiet, but I think he’s probably the same as Jared. I think I remember him making a joke right alongside Jared when he was making that chloroform rape joke. And I think he said the N-word in his last panel with Jared? I think it was a fan’s name. I’ve been told he got the name right the first time and then practically said the N-word the second time around. I do think J2 are closet republicans who are trying to seem progressive because that’s what sells these days.

And Gen, she just seems so... uninteresting? Like I have no desire to know anything about her, unlike the others. But your blog helped out a bit with that. I still think she’s boring and uninteresting lol. I honestly think she should’ve just tried to get a role without Jared’s help. It probably would’ve been real hard, but earning a role through nepotism will not help her career if she decides to ever have one again. I mean you’ve got the hardcore Jared stans and the hardcore Misha stans, from what I’ve seen, both sides are extremely biased, and frankly, they all look like idiots from the outside, and they both have completely different beliefs. But you seem to be a bit more level headed, so I thought I’d ask you,tell me all the dirt. What are some of the shitty things he’s done? And I’m sorry this got so long.

The Supernatural fandom is one of the worst fandoms to be in. One of the big reasons that I stopped watching the show was because of the fans, I’ll be honest. But yeah, it is kinda fun to watch the drama, as long as you’re at a distance and safe! 

I absolutely agree that anyone can be problematic. Hell, if I became famous and people found my old tweets or Facebook posts, even Tumblr posts, I’d probably be “cancelled” or called out. I’m not a terrible person, but we’ve all been young and dumb and we’ve all been embarrassing, that’s just part of life. 

Danneel has absolutely been a bitch, there’s really no nice way of saying it. Fans have had horrible experiences with her in real life too. I think if she was more active on social media again, she’s still be showing her true colors, but she’s not active really.  I do remember Jared’s “cracker” controversy and like....I try not to be political, but really dude? I’m white and I don’t consider cracker to be racist or a slur. It’s ridiculous to me? I’m no History major, but I don’t recall people using cracker to describe white people who were considered “lower than” others. 

Jensen is overall a lot smarter than Jared, but he has made mistakes still. The difference is that Jensen apologizes, he holds himself accountable, and he changes his behavior to make sure that he doesn’t make those mistakes again. No one is perfect, but at least Jensen can own up, take responsibility and change. Jared....well we know Jared.

Gen is....well you said you’ve seen my blog, and there are other “antis” here who can shed even more light. She’s uninteresting but thinks she’s the bee’s knees.

Misha is......Misha. His fans are absolutely insane (I know there are some normal ones) so any sort of negative backlash against him is usually buried. I’ve made a few posts about him and why I stopped really being a fan of his, but I will try to summarize! 

I started getting kind of turned off to him around the 2016 election because he was bombarding social media with politics and I just wasn’t there for it. A lot of fans came after me for that but that’s their prerogative. I actually started seeing some anti posts on here and went down a rabbit hole of things that I’d looked past or didn’t know about that all mounted up. Some of those things are; (I don’t have links for everything because the one blog that had compiled everything together isn’t active anymore, but someone might have screenshots!) Also in no particular order!

Misha admitting to leering at kids at a playground while preparing for his role in Karla. 

Having his young female fanbase send him pictures of themselves only wearing cheese bikinis or kale swimsuits, etc. for GISHWHES. I know some people think “it’s just a goofy scavenger hunt” but if it wasn’t Misha Collins, would you want your barely legal sister sending pictures of her only wearing cheese to a 40 something year old man? 

His constant blatant disrespect for Jensen and his aversion to Destiel, his baiting of the fans and complete abandonment of Jensen when he gets the backlash. 

He baits the Destiel fans to the point of them making Jensen uncomfortable, then when Jensen puts his foot down, the fans attack him harshly. Where was Misha for that? Silent. Even though he was the one who eggs everyone on. 

Being rude, sexual, and otherwise inappropriate in front of children at conventions. I know fans will say “it’s not his responsibility to monitor kids!” but the fact that he continues to act like that while knowing there are kids in the audience is weird. I wouldn’t be making sexual jokes or being lewd in front of kids, that’s gross. 

His whole “charity” act that is really just him profiting from his “kindness” acts and his GISHWHES hunts. Pretty charitable of him. 

The fact that he uses Stands to push baiting merchandise onto fans with no regard to how Jensen feels, just to make a buck. (In addition to that, he doesn’t reign in the Stands staff who are horrible to fans and customers.)

I’m sure that there’s more, but that’s all I can think of at the moment! Hopefully that sheds some light! I try not to be too biased either way, but with some of the things it’s hard not to.

Quinn wrinkles her nose at the aftertaste coating her tongue and throat. “What was that?” Her shoulders are propped up against her pillow, and she awkwardly tries to situate herself somewhat upright. 

Tina shrugs, setting the cup aside. “Something Mike whipped up. Said it should help your strength and energy a little?” She crosses her arms, lightly gripping the fabric of her shirt at her sides—hugging herself.

And Quinn remembers a few months ago, when Mercedes had her own complicated encounter with demon poison. She remembers how Tina cares, how she loves, how beautifully, how much. 

“Hey,” she says softly, and Tina finally looks up to meet her eyes. “Mike and the Silent Brothers said I stand a good chance for full recovery, right? So no tears,” Quinn urges gently. 

Tina huffs a light laugh and wipes under her eyes. “No promises,” she says hoarsely. Quinn wiggles her fingers and Tina releases the hand clutching tightly at her side and obligingly takes Quinn’s, who squeezes reassuringly.

Tina keeps sniffling though, and it seems to be getting louder. She covers her mouth with her free hand when Quinn looks over and says quickly, “I’m sorry, I know, sorry, it’s Kurt’s turn to see you anyway, I should go—” and starts to untangle their fingers but Quinn holds fast, squeezing again and she looks into Tina’s tear-filled eyes. 

“Come here,” Quinn says quietly.

“What?”

“Help me lay down, then get in bed with me.”

Tina pauses. “Are you—I don’t know if—”

Quinn smirks a little, starting to push herself back into a horizontal position. “I’m the one who’s injured, and I’m cold and I need my girlfriend close to steal her warmth, okay?”

Tina swallows and nods a little, replies barely above a whisper, “Okay.”

Once Quinn is lying down comfortably, Tina climbs under the blanket, facing her. Quinn tucks a strand of black hair behind her ear, wiping some of Tina’s still-coming tears as she retracts her hand. 

Tina holds her wrist, lightly, almost only with the tips of her fingers, and presses a soft kiss to her palm. She lets out a slight chuckle. “Shouldn’t I be the one taking care of you?”

Her tone is lighthearted but bitter and Quinn brushes her fingers through Tina’s hair. Her eyelids flutter, half closed, and she releases a small, comforted breath.

“You’ve definitely already done a fair amount of taking care of me. And I’m fine,” Quinn assures, and she really is fine, aside from the fact that she just missed a few days being knocked out from the worst kind of demon poison and she’s still feeling the effects of that, probably will be for a while, but that’s getting out of her system now, and with its complete departure her strength (and ability to move without pain) should also return, if Silent Brother healing magic and knowledge is to be trusted. “On the other hand, you look like you haven’t slept in days.” And knowing Tina, it’s all too possible that she hasn’t.

Tina shrugs a little. “Maybe.”

“Do I need to call Kurt in here to tell me?”

“Fine,” Tina grumbles halfheartedly. “I haven’t.”

But do you blame me? is her unasked—and unanswered—question. 

(Quinn doesn’t.)

Quinn tilts her chin forward a little to kiss Tina’s nose gently. “Go to sleep,” she says.

“Here? I shouldn’t—Kurt wants to see you,” Tina starts and Quinn shushes her again.

“Yes, here. Kurt will live without it, he knows I’m okay.” And Quinn knows Kurt is okay, and presumably will understand Tina staying for longer if he’s been around her the past few days. 

She just hopes—knows, really—that Kurt has helped Tina, that they help each other. They’ve always been close on account of being the two who could always be found awake in the latest hours of night, talking to each other and recently, working on designs and drawings together.

But it’s still different right now, for these past few days, and Quinn thinks that if either of them slept at all, it wasn’t much. Especially Tina. Kurt had the parabatai bond’s assurance while Quinn’s been out. Tina had Kurt��s assurance, but it still couldn’t have been as good as knowing it herself. And at night, Kurt had the bond as an extra layer of assurance when he went to sleep, but Tina didn’t, and Quinn knows how Tina’s worry keeps her up sometimes, and how she sometimes chooses energy runes instead when she knows something is weighing on her mind too much for her to sleep.

“You need sleep, love,” Quinn whispers, and she feels the resistance fade from Tina’s body. She pulls her closer, tucking Tina’s head under her chin.

“I missed you,” Tina says with a small gasp, voice cracking a little in desperation. “I’m so sorry.” Quinn can feel her tears on her collarbone and she hates it—hates that she’s the reason Tina’s crying and she can’t do anything about it because she was unconscious and on the verge of death for three days and then the Silent Brothers kept people away for a few more and Tina didn’t know how she was for a week, and Quinn really just woke up again and she’s mostly fine and she feels fine but Tina hasn’t slept for days and Quinn understands.

“It’s not your fault. And I won’t ever leave you,” Quinn promises. 

“You can’t say that for sure.” 

“Shh,” Quinn breathes, thinking about both statements. Tina’s right, she can’t say it for sure, and she knows that. With their life and what they do every day, it’s the most unsure thing in the world. Even just a week ago, she could’ve died if the demon’s stinger had gone in a little higher, she could’ve died if there were any more of them left, she could’ve died if Tina wasn’t there. Tina could’ve died if Quinn wasn’t there. (Would have, a voice in the back of her head creeps in, less than a breath, and she suppresses the shiver that it brings.)

But if Quinn has any control over it at all, it will be true. She tells Tina as much. “I won’t leave you,” she says again, quietly but as vehemently as she can, and Tina relaxes a tiny bit in her arms. 

And then for the other thing. “And there’s no way it’s your fault, okay?”

“If I wasn’t so fucking careless, you would be fine—”

“You didn’t push me into a demon’s stinger, did you?” Quinn continues to run her fingers through Tina’s hair. “You didn’t take its poison and inject it into my body. And you were killing the other ones. We could both be dead if you weren’t, okay?” Her tone is more blunt than probably necessary and she brushes Tina’s temple slightly in apology.

Tina burrows her face deeper and Quinn knows she’s winning, if only because Tina’s tired. But she needs her to know…. “It would never be your fault,” Quinn whispers. “Ever. Tell me you know that.”

After a second, Tina nods. “Yeah,” she says in a small voice. “Okay.”

Quinn can tell Tina isn’t completely convinced, but it’s a conversation for another time, another day when Tina isn’t running on a ridiculously small amount of sleep and probably an unhealthy number of energy runes, and only just coming down from the emotional rollercoaster of the past week. 

Quinn presses a kiss to the top of Tina’s head. “Go to sleep, love,” she says again. 

“Wake me up if I hurt you,” Tina breathes, on the cusp of sleep. 

Quinn smiles, runs her hand up and down Tina’s arm. “You won’t,” she promises, voice hushed.

It’s a testament to just how exhausted Tina must be that her breathing evens out within a few seconds, and her body is still and loose from exhaustion, mind finally quieted, for now, close to Quinn and reassured, and Quinn continues to rub her girlfriend’s arm gently and thinks.

She thinks about the word she just used—twice, and for the first time. Not the first time in her head, but the first time out loud. But unlike countless other times when she’s questioned her decisions and even after so many that have hurt her, so many choices that have led her astray—led her heart astray… she knows it’s right this time. Now, here, in her room, in the Institute that changed her life for the better, her family within the building’s glamoured walls, next to the one person she would always want to be next to, she doesn’t need to question it. And she closes her eyes and follows Tina into a hopefully peaceful sleep.
