Soap and ghost as a duo being called phantom wash on base. Everyone assumes its because of their lethality together, but really its more all-encompassing than that.

Its actually because together they can pull off any impossible feat, or situation. Much like how you can't wash a phantom (get it?... soap... ghost... ok I'll leave now) there were times when they were stuck in impossible situations that should have gotten everyone one of their squads killed, and yet they came out on the other side with only a few serious injuries. The sniper shot that nobody could possibly make, they made it.

This of course also translates to their dumbassery... how price found them both hanging upside-down from the sides of one of the humvees, tied together by a string around their ankles... they make the old man go grey so quickly
