this is a makeover of lucky palms that was never "officially" completed and published by the author. i was really curious to check it out since i love lucky palms and the vegas vibe.

see the last post in the thread for instructions on how to install it. it is huge and densely packed with many builds.

but i love lucky palms so i had to try and take a look for myself!

i found a new house for thornton and morgana. it's the "modern cliffside house" by 4katsuki on modthesims. i searched for a makeover of this specific lot for a long time, and this one just had the perfect structure.

i've edited the exterior and i'm currently redoing the interior but there are a lot of rooms to get to. you can see the formal living room a bit in the first pic. i think one of the rooms will eventually be a nursery... the walls painted in soft lavender, of course......

there's thornton's black bmw and morgana's red jaguar parked out front.

I was having fun yesterday, just last night, with my mom and sister, and now everything is absolute hell. My mom almost died. She was completely unresponsive; I had to try to give her CPR until the EMTs arrived, and when they did, we all had to see a group of them trying their best to keep her alive, to keep her heart beating. Now, here we are in the hospital waiting to see if she's gonna be okay. I don't know what I'll do if she doesn't make it.

i found a nice little house for a certain sunset valley resident and i am redoing the interior.

here is part of the living room. there is a tv, record player, tasteful wall art from @more-blood-more-pain, and a gorgeous chair to relax on while you flip through a book.

yeah so i decided gobias koffi's home was going to give mid-century palm springs gay (it's right on the beach!) and i've been having a lot of fun with that theme and personality in mind.

also i've hoarded so much build/buy stuff and now i can finally put it all to good use yippee!!!

at the end of their date, as they said their goodbyes outside the cafe, hank pulled her in for a tight hug. monika remembered just how much she missed his body. in the heat of the moment, they spontaneously made out before parting ways. monika couldn't wait for their next encounter...

with things cleared up, hank and monika played some pool and simopoly at the cafe... just as friends of course.

hank asked monika out for coffee at the cafe, and she reluctantly agreed to meet him. she liked their casual flirtationship, but she still wasn't entirely sure about his and pauline's relationship status. he'd said that they were open, but he'd also said they recently broke up, but neither had moved out... things weren't adding up.

their hookup was good, but she wasn't going to keep messing around with a taken man!

smooth talking hank managed to reassure her that he really was broken up with pauline. they were just exes who were still living together for the time being, before they went their separate ways. finding a new living arrangement takes time. they would be officially separated soon.

after his explanation, monika understood.

monika: i think we should wait until the rumours die down before we start messing around again. i believe you, but you know it looks bad to everyone else. hank: i totally understand. we can just be friends for now :)

another night, another club. hank and zelda hit up the new hotspot in town called chidori. after dancing for a bit, he pulled her into one of the karaoke rooms to "ask her something".

hank: is it weird for friends to make out? be honest zelda: nah 😏 hank: so what are we waiting for 😘

and he also gained the naughty reputation from this. he had gone on a romantic date with his ex-gf pauline earlier. ☢

i'm trying to satisfy hank & pauline's remaining wishes before rotating to a diff household.

i plopped down a few club lots and a motel lot to make a little party district in sunset valley. i needed some places for the adults to act a fool, get fucked up etc and the town centre was too small + wholesome.
