—>The biggest part of the surprise party is wishing YouTube kids a happy birthday, but in the most creative way possible. In the “ask me” works, but literally anywhere; on your blog or on a post from anywhere (that you know they’d be okay with a little shenanigans) works wonderfully.

->Also, saying happy birthday is awesome, but spicing it up would be more fun!!! Day Of Birth, One of Awakening, Oh Child of the 27th, and any other batshit way to say “happy birthday” would both be awesome and absolutely hilarious.

Was talking to @camellcat about Buffy, Angel, and Spike, and it occurred to me that one of the reasons I like Spuffy better than Bangel has to do with the character's attitudes towards fighting. Spike adores fighting and killing. So much so that after he got his chip and discovered that he could fight only demons, that's what he did. He would just seek out demons and fight them. Even after Spike got his soul, he still seemed to take enjoyment in fighting and killing. I'm just thinking about the fight he had with Angel in 5x08 of ATS. Angel was serious the entire time. All business. Spike was having fun. Buffy has the same attitude, which I think is related to her calling. I think it gives her a certain level of bloodthirstyness. Faith once said that when she went too long without killing a demon or vampire, she started itching for it, and asked if Buffy felt the same way. Buffy clearly felt guilty about it, but she didn't deny it.

Whereas Angel doesn't kill because he likes it. He kills to protect others. He doesn't seem to take any joy in it whatsoever. That sets him apart from both Spike and Buffy. Which I think is one of the reasons why Spuffy feels more right than Bangel.

deadwood has y fari lwyd as a tradition, and if he ever explained the concept to the others i think dakota specifically would go CRAZY. he would think it sounded soooo fun and the next christmas, the boys would make one and go door to door for shits and giggles (people would have to specifically give them pizza if the boys won the pwnco and were allowed inside) (except no one in their area would have ANY idea what they were on about so they would just be on peoples doorsteps dressed as a horse, singing, and begging for pizza)
