Alright I told someone I would give propaganda for these two so here we go. As a warning, I didn't play mobile or Re-Mind soooooooo. Yeah there's that. I know they're apparently involved in past stuff but shhh.

So first off, everyone's weapon is super useful! Except theirs. Which I always thought was really funny? Even in Re:CoM Zexion's book was more direct than these two. I really enjoyed them just as the most indirect fighters? And figured they'd be pretty chill and after playing KH2 as a kid I'm like. I think Luxord would be most tolerable to music while vibing. He could play Solitaire or something while Demyx played music and possibly chatted. Therefore, my younger self was like "it's perfect".

ALSO CONSIDERING THEIR NUMBERS! And the line in KH3 during the scene where Demyx is like "yup I got benched", they've probably got a history. However, the number they get originally is supposed to be the order they joined. So with Marluxia and Larxene obviously tied together in the past, all I can think of is these two just being absolute bums wandering around pre-Organization and just hitch hiking their way into a cult. Which is also REALLY funny to me because what if they joined at the same time but Demyx got to be IX and Luxord is X.

Demyx would hold his rank over his head for the dumbest stuff (in my head canons of the past).

Like there's so many things we specifically do not know about these two so basically, until I'm proven absolutely incorrect in game (which might have happened and I just don't know) ! I think they'd be a good match.

And I mean, it's also just (gestures) LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE. Great designs and I think that's good enough for me!

it is awesome that nobody misgendered or deadnamed my sister all day. and it's not like it has been in the past, where people just awkwardly avoided using any name or pronouns for her at all, it was just normal. we've come so far as a family and i'm proud of everybody. but one weird thing i've noticed is my (cis) uncle recently decided he wants to go by a nickname (his first and middle initials) and the family is not making any effort to do that. like using a trans person's correct name and pronouns is a special thing we do just for trans people without understanding why. but it's just respect! something that everybody deserves. and i feel like if we do it for everybody it's less of an uphill climb for trans people. if there's just a culture of respect then it's a non-issue; if it's some special dispensation that people only get if they prove to you that they "deserve" it, isn't that such a pain for them? why should they have to do that?

#i don't think i'm explaining this well but. i'm really glad that people have gotten on board with supporting my sister #but like i think we missed some fundamental piece of reasoning somewhere in there #like why do people think we are doing it? as some sort of favor to her specifically? because trans people need favors?#trans people don't need favors. that's kind of infantilizing? specific transphobic oppression needs to be opposed for sure #i can't tell if this sounds like i'm downplaying that. i don't want to downplay that at all. obviously trans people are dealing with #oppression that cis people are not. my uncle is not being oppressed here. but i think i'm trying to get at something else #namely. trans people are people. and people should be treated with respect #you can encounter problems in either premise. if you don't think trans people are people that's a problem #if you don't think people should be treated with respect that's another problem #my posts #names #respect

DEPRESSION AND ALL THAT BUT I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE CHOICE!#AND WHEN I USED TO HAVE A KITCHEN I COULD ALSO ASK OME OF MY SISTERS TO COOK FOR ME BC ONE OF THEM ACTUALLY ENJOYS DOING THAT FOR PEOPLE #AND THE OTHER ONE IS JUST NICE TO ME WHEN SHE KNOWS IM TIRED. GOD I LOVE MY SISTERS. GOD I HATE HAVING NO KITCHEN.#AND I KNOW ITS NOT GONNA BE FIXED WITHIN THIS YEAR. fyi how long it takes me to post a m*a*s*h update makes it SEEM like i have a lot of self-control and am only watching one episode a day but that is incorrect. i'm watching everything like three times and rolling around in the details like a ferret let loose in the snow. i grew up in the vhs-recording 90s where you'd get two star treks and an x-file every week, and i'd get up at five in the morning to rewatch one of them before school every day AND tune in for every rerun and that has not changed. sometimes i get comments on fic like "wow your dialogue sounds just like them" YEAH it fuckin SHOULD some weeks i hear these people talk more than my own family. this is completely normal and healthy by the way

#not even touching on the fact that my sister and i would have star trek marathons like we were training for the olympics #on weekends she was over here we'd fuckin PLAN we would rest up all week so we could STAY UP and try to beat the record #my dad would come downstairs and make us run around outside in the snow between episodes #and we'd do it in BARE FEET to hype us up and keep us awake for the duration #also normal behavior #i remember being entire adults and going on a double date with some new dudes and both of us being like #:) we watched 30 hours of star trek in a row once :)#that's the most impressive thing you should know about us
