Let's do some Science and examine Pingxie in a Very Serious Manner.

To do this, first let's take a look at some data gathered from all the danmei novels and shows I know (relevant for calibration you know, since they have actual canon top/bottom dynamics.)

SVSSS

Shen Qingqiu - Since his cause of death wasn't starvation we can assume - well, at least hope - that he can make instant noodles, if nothing else, but he will absolutely avoid having to cook if he can help it.

Luo Binghe - As the Protagonist he of course has to be The Bestest at everything (...except sex, apparently) and it's mentioned that both Bingge and Bingmei use their culinary skills to woo the people they want to sleep with. He's also the top, even though everyone involved would be better off if he wasn't.

MDZS

Lan Wangji - Becomes a pretty decent cook, as per the extras. Prefers to top.

Wei Wuxian - It's not like he's incompetent, he doesn't burn or undercook the food, it's just that his taste is so extreme that his dishes are basically inedible to anyone else.

TGCF

Hua Cheng - No special talent for cooking, but at least he's not actively dangerous. There's no on-page sex scene in the novel, but it's made obvious that he tops.

Xie Lian - Biohazard. Weapons-grade culinary anti-talent. Gastronomy's answer to Vogon poetry.

Golden Stage

Ulike in most of the other novels on the list, food doesn't really have much symbolic meaning and not much is said about either Fu Shen's or Yan Xiaohan's cooking skills, exept for a brief mention of Fu Shen pickling eggs to pass the time. This is a rare couple that canonically switches.

Guardian

Zhao Yunlan - This man considers instant noodles cooked with coffee an okay way to surprise a boyfriend. He really wouldn't mind topping, which he keeps lamenting throughout the book, but he's paired with Shen Wei who might just have the strongest set preference out of everyone on this list.

Shen Wei - Likes to dote on Zhao Yunlan by cooking for him and is genuinely very good at it.

Word of Honor (mind, I have only watched the show here)

Zhou Zishou - Can keep himself alive, but left to his own devices would probably make due with charred-and-yet-undercooked fish or something.

Wen Kexing - A competent cook. While obviously not detailed in the drama I looked it up (or asked someone, I can't remember) and he's the top here.

Erha

Chu Wanning - Perfected exactly one (1) dish, is rather... unfortunate otherwise. You could not pay this man to top.

Mo Ran - Excellent cook. Actually worked in a kitchen at one point in his life, giving and receiving food is basically his main love-language.

Now that we have examined these canon couples and have drawn all the relevant conclusions, let's apply what we learned to our non-danmei, might-as-well-be-canon-but-isn't ship.

Wu Xie - Can cook just fine both in the novel and the drama-verse even if it doesn't come up too often. In the first season he cooks up a pretty decent feast for his friends and in the Yucun books he helps come up with the dishes they would serve in their restaurant.

Zhang Qiling - The entire Thing of this poor sod as a character is that he knows how to survive but not how to live. Taking the time to prepare nice meals or cook anything beyond basic sustenance just... doesn't fit that picture.

Pirate Kyoshi/flying opera AU

I wanted to draw this for i while and i still think i will but in case i cant (no time, but i think i can make it) i just gonna drop my idea here:

Pirate Kyoshi and Flying Opera Company

(This will be SUPER long im thinking about it for a while now)

basically: "what if Kyoshi had accepted Tagata's offer" it would be like "i will go with you if you let everyone go."

I kinda mix a little bit with airbender Kyoshi too, but different, so follow me here:

for this AU specific i thoght in make Kyoshi enter the fitht nation and pretend to be a non-bender to Tagata at the beginning since canonically she dont earthbend in front of her intil the seafloor (dosent happend in this scenario)

Why?? do you remember when Tagata say she dosent have use to earthbenders in a ship? But she look to Kyoshi and see "potential"

[Important detail in this AU: Tagata recognise Jesa's fetures in Kyoshi just like that other pirate did (see this in a coment somewhere and love it), i didnt make a backstory for them but i think it would be cool, the point is: she knows Kyoshi is Jesa and Hark daugther]

Because of that Tagata is divide trying to figure out if Kyoshi is an earthbender or an airbender, and Kyoshi's plan is just pretend she can't bend anything to make Tagata "lose time" intil she finds a way to ether escape or defeat her

But when Tagata try make Kyoshi airbend Kyoshi thinks "this will never work, im obvious not the avatar" what make her relax (which is what was missed in the firebend test in canon btw) and dont think about it much

And then she airbend

And BOOM, suddenly she's the avatar, literally only her knows it, and she is surrounded by a bunch of daufei, while being untrained, scared and lost in a completely unfamiliar territory

So, since she cant go back to Yokoya (Tagata and the deal she made etc etc.) She goes to her cannon next impulsive plan B

The Flying Opera Company

Somehow she convince Tagata to bring them in the ship as her "team" or "guests" bc she needs more training (its true) and they would be the only daufeis who would have some idea of how to help her

So she goes to the tea shop and convince them to joing her (in almost the same way of cannon: "you're our lider's daugther and its offering transportation") and agrees to teach her if she joins they, making their vows instead of Tagata's, this way they would be a gang working for pirates instead of part of tagatas krew, which make its possible to Kyoshi be/go openly againt her (not that something would really stop her, but still..)

And thats would be kinda it, they would be runing with the pirates, making caos. With a airbender in there ship they would be easily the "best"/bigest pirates ever (she can literally control the wind, in a ship) besides, fighting with a airbender is something you wouldn't expected or be prepared to do in the daufey line of work

And Kyoshi would be pretending to be just an airbender (probably making up a history of "i couldnt try it or they would figure out", or "it didnt work before" or "i knew it but couldnt train it" something like that) both for Tagata and the Flying Opera (exept Lao Ge who figure it out, maybe he teach her how to kill people here too)

So besides Kyoshi being almost openly agains Takaga and planing for her dawnfall, (she is BAD at pretend to like someone) and seemed to be more of a willing prisioner then a real part of her crew, having a daufei airbender is a super advantage and Tagata is smart enogth to use Kyoshi in her benefit even when Kyoshis is trying so sabotage her or going agains orders, thats a dangerous dinamic, especially with Kyoshi involved, but i think would be great to see it

I dont know how this would end tho (maybe a postponed seafloor rise?)

Some still untied points:

-Jianzhu would still be a big villan, i have some plans for him (and maybe Hei-Ran) but nothing concret

-Rangshi is obviously the endgame, i just dont know yet when she would join Kyoshi (she would never let Kyoshi go with Tagata, so they would have left before Rangi arrives) but since she would definitely go after her and i think this would be it, at some point she finds her and tags along

-Kelsang dies protecting Yun from Jianzhu

Is killed by Jianzhu when he discoveres Kyoshi to be the avatar

Dies trying to go after Kyoshi

Lives and help Kyoshi with airbender later on♡

So about quadrants applied to Pirates of the Caribbean characters:

So, Jack Sparrow really must be the blackrom heartthrob of the seven seas right? Everyone seems to have a grudge on this guy and he has a personal relationship with a lot of the villains too. He used to work for Beckett, made a deal with Davy Jones, personally caused the death of Salazar (doesn't matter I don't really like that movie, the flashback is awesome) and then there's his whole thing with Barbossa. One could argue that he didn't have a relationship with Norrington but then the man decided to hound him through a storm that destroyed his whole ship and crew and followed him to join his crew for a grudge. So that clears that. (There is also the whole mess with Elizabeth but in that corner the bigger rival will always be Will, not Jack)

Speaking of Will, can I just say that the way Jack keeps throwing Will between himself and his enemies makes this relationship look ashen af. It's rare that I see a dynamic outside of Homestuck and think ashen since that quadrant is pretty difficult to implement outside of it's origins, hell, barely any ashen romance happens in Homestuck itself, but. But but. The first movie can be seen as pretty platonic still, Jack using Will as a leverage against Barbossa still works as them both just being in cahoots but then the second movie happens and Jack literally sends Will to "settle his debt with Jones". Really????? And then there's the whole scheming thing with Beckett and by that point they might as well be official!

Obviously both Will and Jack are fond of each other but Jacks tendency to weasel himself out of Situations usually leads to him putting Will in harms way, even if he sometimes does plan for Will to survive said harm (the thing in the first movie where he was going to use Will as a bargaining chip against Barbossa reads at least to me as Jack would have tried to bargain for Will's life as well, if for nothing else then just to spite Barbossa, leave him with literally nothing, and the whole Jones thing would not span out with Jack immortal as he originally intended if Will didn't survive, so in my view he was kind of counting on Will to make the best of the situation by himself there) so I'd still put them in the ashen rather than the pale quadrant. (I was gonna point out that they do have some good pale moments too and I'll talk about them later but my first example would have been the epic resque attempt from the end of the first movie exept! That's pretty damn ashen too!!! Will literally says to Norrington, who tries to remind him to "know his place" that it's "right here, between you and Jack" if that doesn't read as ashen the I don't know what does)

One thing about Jack and and Wills relationship is that it shifts from movie to movie. Jack starts off as a kind of a mentor figure to Will, which is when their relationship reads as more ashen, but as Will gains experience and power/influence on the seas they shift towards a more even relationship which culminates when Jack makes the final sacrifice of giving up his chance at immortality to save Will's life, which I would say marks the end of their conciliatory vacillation and finally pushes them into the pale quadrant completely. When Dbk gets wukong down and out of the webs due to wukong’s relentless teasing. he helps her down, along with other demons that needed the help.

Huàng bao thanks him like anyone with a polite personality does and they go separate ways

They meet again when lbd takes control of the city, she happens to be tangs co worker and was visiting him at pigy’s noodles when the attack happened

She’s on the ship; just as worried as everyone else about what the hell just happened.

She mostly stays quiet, she doesn’t have an opinion on whatever pigsy is shouting at wukong for, she can’t have an opinion on that she doesn’t even know them exept the one person, being tang.

She does help Mei patch wukong up though, this monkey is rugged and definitely hurt.

It’s not even a few hour later and they’re underwater due to mk’s fight with macaque and that’s their first argument of the day.

She’s blaming wukong. Wukong is snapping back.

And they argue more when they get put into the cell.

At some point while they take a break for the night they argue more. At this point Huàng bao’s fed up and had been reading a book about the legends and myths in China.

Wukong thinks that she believes she’s too good for them.

So cue another argument which mk splits up.

Poor mk is tired of the arguments, he’s stressed because he’s lost his powers plus lbd hunting them down.

It’s probably during the amnesia rules that Huàng boa realises that she may or may not like wukong more than she thinks or lets herself believe.

I mean the stupid monkey did flirt with her all day until he regained his memory mac and it’s back to bickering.

Ist before they go to the city with his sahmadi ring that wukong realises his own feeling of him.

Like- she’s just sitting there, reading the book and he’s tries to pick another argument but this time she’s not even trying to dignify him with a response.

So he sits on her lap, straddling her stealing her snack as his tail lowers her book.

Sun wukong, the legendary monkey king was only a few steps away from Huàng boa, watching her in boredom as she read her book, a light snack between her lips.

“You can’t drop that old thing for a day can you? Bao.” Wukong asked, dropping next to her, annoyed for no good reason at her preferring her books than socialising with the others.

Mk in the background glanced at the two - hearing wukong try to work up another argument. He pursed his lips and turned back around, not wanting to try and defuse *ANOTHER* argument of the day.

Huàng bao huffed, flipping a page as her eyes glued onto wukong’s in a glare “if you can’t respect the reason I’m reading this book you *can* leave, monkey king.” She retorted back, the small snack twirling in her fingers- almost teasing wukong.

Frustration bubbled into wukong his eyes narrowed at hers, behind the glasses she wore.

“Says the one that needs help dycripting ancient scrolls for a living.” He shot back, his tail flicking in annoyance.

“I- I can’t believe you! —“ she sputtered through the anger she felt, her teeth clenched together, her brows furrowed.

Alas before she could finish her retort wukong moved, straddling her hips as he gently plucked the snack from her hold “you know,” he started, dipping his head low so intimately close to hers.

His breath fanned her face- and the proximity had her heart beating faster.

Wukong chuckled, hearing her heart and seeing the blush creeping up her face, her stutters of confusion and shock where cute- he could admit that.

His tail swayed along her legs- teasing her even more from the light touch of his appendage.

“I think you like me more than you care to admit” he said, taking her snack and taking a cheeky bite out of it.

Then just like that he rose up to his feet, the same damn smirk on his face as he left her alone, heading back to the group before them. Huàng bao’s head running over the moment over and over as a subtle blush ran over her skin.

Now this is probably just going into the void but I had an idea and I wanted to get it out there and who knows someone might see so.

It's a few years after they graduated the academy, everyone has disbanded into their own lives and their own worlds, one thing that connects them all is a port with a market, morgie hasn't spoken to hook in a few months, who had been away with his crew in neverland plundering and pilaging, in reality they have only seen each other once since graduation and that was just before hook went off to neverland for the first time post graduation. Morgie unlike his mother has not gone down the rought of evil and anger, he has no reason to, no real betrayal has occurred to him and he lives an isolated life in a cottage in the most magical part of the woods suroubding camelot and only really goes out, where there are people, when he needs to get some things from the (previously mentioned) market.

That day while picking up some silks from the merchants he reunites with an old friend, james hook who is now sporting longer curlier hair and a rather large red hat. After some rather shy conversations morgie asks if hook would like to come to his house for some tea to catch up, if he's stationed hear for a little while, hook agrees and they do just that, exept the feelings hidden by time between these two have only gotten fonder in the time they've been apart and one cup of tea turns into hook staying the night and not leaving untill the late afternoon the next day and a promise to return in a few days time after all he's sationed for acleast a week, perhaps 2 while repairs are done to the ship and supply's replenished, they spend the two weeks seeing the other acleast every other day, enjoying the company while trying to pretend the impending deadline didn't make them feel ill or and why it infact did {more to be added because I'm not sure yet}

It is pretty noticeable Jaehyun is not big on skinship. He himself can initiate touch, it's different: he is in control, he mostly uses his hands, not other parts of the body (he can hug and even cling to selected friends like WW).

"Skinship" is different from just touching or giving a hug when appropriate. Doyoung glueing himself to the back of Mark is skinship. Haechan jumping on and hanging off Taeil is skinship. This is liking skinship.

Jaehyun does initiate contact. He can hug (the famous JaeYong hug after a win), place his hand on a neighbour's knee (does it all the time with Woo) or playfully/teasingly poke/slap (games with Hyuk, squeezing Mark's cheek). At the same time, when Haechan starts to play with his hand, he takes it away, and avoids kisses being planted on his cheek.

The "most real" ships are JaeYu, JaeTen and JaeWin. With all others Jae initiates contact when it's needed (to show support, as greeting, during a game, etc).

Rookies times are an exeption, back then teen Jaehyunie clung to absolutely everyone.

It is not hard to observe how Jaehyun reacts to another neo touching him. He freezes and either tries to stop the contact or waits it out (for comparison). He doesn't lean into the touch, or shortens the distance to slot the bodies together.

He was supposed to be a male robot, not a ugly bratty woman with big breasts in a blue dress. I love Mettaton and Spamton, they're so beautiful robots that they exist in this game. Unfortunately, they're enemies because they look similar with his sussy mood. Exept for another simps who shipped Mettaton with Rouxls Kaard and Spamton g Spamton. Those NSFW artists are disgusting as hell. I prefer first to draw The Mettangela files and The dialtone catalogue big shot incident when i free on any days. I really didn't meant to be mad at them but Papyton, Mettapants, Mettasans, Mettacest, MettaKaard and MettaSpamton or Spamatton disgusted and made me cry with my heartbroken. I only wanted to ship him with my own character Angela. Angela is a purple Cybraen Stickfigure, and she was cried every time when she was scared and alone. First, Zer0finix made her sonic character Elina the blonde hedgehog and shipped Shadlina. Then she made NSFW posts of Elina and Shadow on Twitter/X and Discord, at 2022 she begin to draw her oc the same as Radi (Honoi's character), Dira is Radi's twin sister, she had a crush on Void after the first mod of Radi. Zer0finix was xTenPiYeX in 2 years ago for making Friday night funkin VS Radi mod for everyone, but unfortunately, xTenPiYeX used her old name back to Zer0finix. When some bad person forced me not shipping Radi with Sally, i cried after i traced their pictures that they made me sick with Void and Radi's fangirls on twitter and Pinterest. I really didn't meant to disappoint everyone, but this bad person who shipped Radi and Cantarella, she made me cry more. Okay I need to rant about this, not like its important or anything but maybe someone agrees with me on this but I watched haikyuu not too long ago and I have not read the manga or watched any movies or anything and I only watched the air vs land ovas and Lev's arrival, and I just have to say that i have no explanation for this, but Kuroo gives me the ick. Like I don't even like the word ick but I'm going to use it because he's just so creepy to me, I don't know why, it's his face, especially the one he does while blocking, and his manspread, and he just jenerally looks like the guy I'd be watching from the corners of my eyes when he's on the same street as me even in broad daylight. Again this is solenly based off of his looks and these are my feelings I'm not talking trash on him (he do be ugly tho, but thats from a lesbian)

And that is one of the main reasons I don't ship him with Kenma. Bringing Kenma into the picture makes it worse because I kin him so hard, and on top of that I feel very overprotective of him, and having Kuroo around him just makes me feel uneasy (ik they're childhood friends and I love childhood friends but I don't know shit about them to care, honesly would care more if they were brothers or basically brothers)

I do ship Kuroo with Yaku out of principal (which is that I need to ship everyone with someone exept if I hc them as aroace exept if I platonically ship them) (I said that because I hc Suga as aroace and don't ship him with anyone but thats a different topic), and I also don't know shit about Yaku so it's easier, and Kuroo seems better when paired up with him because they actually seem like genuine friends who banter and all

Tldr: Kuroo gives me the ick, I kin Kenma and want him away from Kuroo and I want to pamper Kenma so I'd rather ship him with someone who would (I'm also convinced multishippers who don't ship levken have just not seen Lev's arrival)

My thoughts is that Luffy and Crocodile are on natural ground.

As in pirate natural ground. Could be enemy, could be ally but wont act on anything and just suspiciously side eye eachother to figure out the others motive.

Well atleast on Luffys pov.

Luffy very much love Vivi and Crocodile hurt her greatly, but he also helped ace and luffy in the war so probably still hate Crocodile over Alabasta but wont go for the throat if he meets crocodile again if you understand me.

Maybe he didnt really comment on Crocodile in the poster because Crocodile has gone back to be bit of a nobody to Luffy.

On Crocodile side we seen that he seem happy with Luffys news in the pappers.

I dont think he would act all bubbly if they meet again. But wont be at all hostile.

But I think Crocodile likes Luffy now more than Luffy likes Crocodile.

Its also funny that Luffy ruined Crocodiles plans, beat him up, had his affairs out in the open and getting arrested where he got boiled alive.

But meeting Luffy again he just go "water under the bridge". Literally no hatred.

And then theres Buggy that owned him money and Crocodile was ready to murder him over it.

I will lean on Luffy not knowing that Crocodile saved him at the end of the war.

Hes not one to ask about the past and only knew about Law saving him because he woke up on his ship.

I hope we get the backstory of Crocodile.

When we first meet him in Alabasta he trusted no one. Robin was the closest to him but he knew nothing about her and didnt want to know anything about her.

He would kill his best agents over small mistakes and would enjoy giving his enemies a slow death.

After being defeated he stopped caring, he didnt want to go with Ms. Goldenweek when she came to rescue everyone and rather went to Impel Down.

Getting Pluton seemed to be his last chance for something. After that failed he went numb about the world.

The idea of taking down Whitebeard was the only thing that made him want to get out again.

And that mission he suddenly abandoned to protect Ace and Luffy.

After the war he kept Daz Bones close, teamed up with Mihawk and got happy everytime there where news about Luffy.

Something made Crocodile care. And my question is what made him not care in the first place?

If we bring in crocomom/crocodad theory into this then I think Crocodile didnt have a say in the hiding of Luffy. Maybe he didnt even knew he was still alive.

So while Dragon wanted to fight for a better world that his son could live in, Crocodile become resentful and angry about the world and want to see it burn.

Crocodile is an entertaining villian and its hard to not wanting him succeed in what ever he is trying to do now.

When the strawhats meet Crocodile again I cant see it go out that well.

Robin still sees Crocodile as one of the worst enemies of her past. So she would not be happy meeting him again. Maybe even horrified.

Jinbie might be the one thats more positive about Crocodile because of Crocodiles last act in the war. But he did try to kill Whitebeard and it seemed like the other warlords was told of why Crocodile was arrested and had his warlord title taken away. So maybe not too positive about Crocodile.

But he would probably tell everyone that he and Luffy only survived the war because Crocodile got between them and Akainu.

The Strawhats that was at Alabasta would definitely be aggressive if Luffy doesnt tell them off or Jinbie mentioned them being saved by him.

The rest will just follow everyone else lead as they have no idea who Crocodile is exept a ex-warlord

(also about Robins crimes getting brushed under the rug is probably because we didnt really see her personally do anything against civilans and just against baroque works agents. And was just working for Crocodile to survive (as he seemed to be only one not selling her out to the marines)and trying to keep Oharas research alive.)

The worst part about trying to figure out what Crocodile's deal is that because he's so fucking irredeemably evil in Alabasta... Like... Yeah he's just irredeemably evil. Like I love him but he did cause countless casualties, a ton of pain and suffering and literally attempted to blow up a million people

Like no amount of theoretical "trying to do it to save his son from the Government" or "trying to stop the Government from hurting anyone else" or just "doing it for the greater good" is going to make him any less of a mass murderer

But also Robin absolutely 100% helped with all of that shit simply because she wanted to read the Poneglyph for herself.

No amount of her intending to betray Crocodile from the begining and sabotaging his plans erases the fact that Robin also caused countless people to starve to death and die in the civil war. Her sabotages only succeeded out of sheer luck, and only spared the lives of the people at the final battle. She has the blood of countless innocents on her hands. Because she wanted to read history.

But her crimes were swept under the rug because she has a sad backstory and her sabotages worked out just at the nick of time by sheer dumb luck

So Croc??? Just??? Is there a chance??? At all???

But also he did literally intend to sell Buggy into slavery

Like, fuck Buggy, but jesus

What's also killing me is that we like. Don't know what Luffy thinks of Crocodile right now. Which really is like. The thing that will decide how we, as the readers, are supposed to feel about Crocodile. Luffy is our POV

Like we don't know what Luffy's opinion of Crocodile is after he helped save Luffy (and spared Ace once) during the Summit War. Like Luffy clearly fucking hated the man in Impel Down and the two interactions they had during the War weren't like positive (in the sense that Luffy himself didn't think of the interactions as particularly positive. Defending Whitebeard from being attacked once and then being like "wait what HIM?!" when Crocodile defended Ace. To be fair, in the midst of the chaos, there wasn't much time to spend on Pondering On Such Things because Ace needed to be saved, and Oda goes out of his way to not show us what's going on inside Luffy's head, because it's all meant to be out in the open anyways. Regardless, these weren't like "yay it's Crocodile! :)" moments for Luffy is what I mean)

But also Luffy was very grateful of Law for saving his life and was willing to put his trust into Law for their alliance- of course, they weren't explicitly enemies to begin with, rivals at most, but still. Luffy respects those who help him.

But also Luffy grew during the timeskip. Like he's not that clueless anymore (like he finally understands Hancock is in love with him etc), and similarly Luffy gets that Buggy is an absolute loser now. But also Buggy did also help save Luffy's life (even if it was by accident), and while IDK if Luffy is aware of that, I don't think that helped improve Luffy's impression of Buggy

So like. The fuck does Luffy think of Crocodile, at this moment? Even with the Cross Guild reveal, he didn't even really comment on Croc and just focused his energy on being confused about Buggy being "the leader" of CG. IDK it feels almost intentional or something, that we don't know what Luffy thinks?? Especially since we did get Zoro's opinion on Mihawk in the situation?? Or am I delulu?? (Sidenote. I'd love to know what Robin would have to say about Crocodile helping save Luffy's life. What Jinbei might think of the final words Crocodile left him with before blasting them out of Akainu's reach. But mainly just Robin's thoughts)

Like IDK my best guess would be that Luffy still hates Crocodile just the same but is like grossed out by technically owing him one??? In the classic

-kinda way, you know? And that he'd be just kinda confused about it?

Because I can't fucking imagine Luffy being like "oh we're cool now" with Crocodile, let alone "Yay Crocodile :) He saved my life!". But also like. Luffy does kind of owe Croc one. Kind of. And Luffy is usually very respectful of that kind of thing. Aaaaaaaa???

(Also does. Does Luffy even know it was Crocodile who yeeted him and Jinbei out of Akainu's reach to begin with. 'Cause he was unconcious. Knocked the fuck out. Does. Does Luffy even know. Did anybody tell him???)

There's the reasonable part of me that knows Crocodile is an irredeemable evil dickbag and everything he has ever said and done up to the most recent chapters support that. He is too far gone.

And then there's the absolutely delulu part that loves a tragic villian who gets a heartwrenching redemption that's looking for any fucking sign that could indicate Crocodile could maybe be one
