Me, 2 weeks later: So I have compiled all of the quotes from the book that I think could make good tattoos, and also, HOW HAVE I NEVER LEARNED ABOUT HOW THE LAST UNICORN FUCKING SLAPS??? My brain keeps telling me to rewrite "Black and White" as one of those novels that are more like a collection of documents (whatever tf it's called) and I'm like!! Bestie, writing a novel as a series of documents is exactly what made me write the second draft as third person in the first place!!!!

trying to explain the "plot" of Phantasmagoria like death took the kids after a nasty divorce with life but they had to go into witness protection bc life is insane. they all get separated. one of the kids becomes a pirate and introduces the concept of fairies and sirens to the multiverse. the other kid gets their soul split in two with one half accidentally pissing off angels and the other half gets sent into a vr world where they're a magician. also there's a talking cat.

#I want to ignore that Strange says he wishes he could cure Bruce of the Hulk so that I can enjoy the rest of this #ugh it’s so weird like he thinks of Bruce and the Hulk as separate people and he considers the Hulk a friend #why would he want to destroy the Hulk?#he knows that the Hulk can do good because they do good together on the Defenders #and the Defender are genuinely friends like they like spending time together and they all actually like hanging out with the Hulk #it really doesn’t make sense for any of them to be pro-curing Bruce #especially since they all including Strange have spent considerably more time with the Hulk than with Bruce #anyway I like how Bruce tells Strange that ‘you probably know green-skin better than I do!’#that’s true #and I like how immediately the Hulk is just like Magician doesn’t need to tell me why he brought me here I already know #it’s to help him as always #also I like that Strange asks the Hulk to help him rather than just teleporting him away with him and assuming he will #I think it’s considerate to the Hulk and treating him as a real person with feelings #which is notable cause the Hulk doesn’t get a lot of that in his life #marvel #bruce banner #stephen strange #my posts #comic panels
