I have seen you talking about Dick & Dami's relationship and Dick & Tim as well,but what are your takes on Dick and Jason actually?

Like how you wish their relationship should be portrayed today and where are them missing when it comes to making those two acting like siblings?

Do you think in the past their dynamic was better?

How Dick views Jason and how Jason views Dick?

This is difficult to answer because there are like 8 different stages to Dick and Jason's relationship with various dynamics. They also view each other a bit differently depending on which stage we're talking about.

The way I would like their relationship to be portrayed today isn’t necessarily possible thanks to Jason’s integration into the family and acceptance of the no killing moral code. For me, their ideal dynamic is portrayed in Outsiders #44-46. And I know people are gonna find that regressive as hell but, tbh, that dynamic is far more interesting than the kinda awkward thing they have going on now.

Although, I don't mind that they acknowledge their brotherhood in a serious manner now. Like before they'd kinda be like, "Eh... I mean... we were adopted from the same guy but... brothers? Eh..." And now they're more firmly in the, "We're brothers," camp. So that development is interesting.

Character progression wise, it wouldn't feel right for for them to be super close in the way that, say, Dick and Tim are (unless we saw a lot of trust and relationship building between them), but at the same time, there is part of me that kind of wants them to have that older sibling bond (except Jason is closer in age to Tim than he is to Dick sooo actually let's just leave older sibling things to Dick and Cass... not that Cass is much older than Jason though so LOL this is why Dick has to lone the oldest sibling thing by himself... which is funny because Dick is technically no longer the oldest sibling, he's a baby brother now... except Dick and Melinda's relationship really hasn't progressed much sooo you could say they share blood but don't consider each other family yet, in which case, Dick is still the oldest... I mean, regardless, Dick is the oldest sibling of the Waynes... god why did they have to make all of this so difficult 😫).

-RANDOM RANDOMING:- Bad part: Now I always try to keep in mind the worst case scenario for anything so I'm somewhat prepared for it when it hits, leads to a lot over overthinking. I tried to sleep at 22:50ish and got into a dream in 5 minutes. I lived a whole new life in the dream and it wasn't a good one. It was me being extremely introverted since my childhood days and managed to make almost no friends, the only loved ones in my life were my grandma, my parents. Then it turns out I've been having a bad day(in the dream) and then I find myself in a car with all my loved ones. We then get into a car crash which kills everyone but me. OFC this wakes me up. Only 50 mins or so have passed(23:40ish). I then avoid sleeping for a bit and sleep early in the morning. Fucking bullshit , the dream resumes from where it ended. I receive the insurance money the next day of the funeral. Then I meet relatives who I can already imagine are drooling after the money. After this it keeps skipping to 1 month later, 3 months later, 6 months later, 1 year later and 3 years later. All the while I've developed trust issues and have not been able to form any new bonds and am basically alone. Finally one day I find a girl who I immediately click with (not romantically btw, just as a good friend and get into her circle too). I finally want to live and be happy, I've got good company, I've started doing a lot better financially too so don't have to rely on the insurance money. Ig it's only a few days since I've met them. Then when I'm on my way back home in my car, happy about how life has changed and overjoyed about my new will to live.... I get into a fucking lethal accident. I don't know who or which car hit me or how I died cause I instantly woke up after that. It took me another 20 mins to process this shit. Fuck them goddamn dreams and people wonder why I'm awake all night. Still I decided to be cheerful with a simple game of luck. I've got around 47 different types of songs all in one playlist and named it 'Fluctuations'. I spot 'Attention' by Charlie Puth in the middle of the playlist. I go, "I'll click 'Shuffle Play' and if that song plays, things will get worse today, if it's any other songs I'll do my best to cheer up." I click 'Shuffle Play' and ISTG it plays 'Attention' by Charlie Puth. WHAT ARE THE FUCKING CHANCES, I'll tell you it's 2.0833% , that how much luck was required to fuck me over. Then I proceeded to go to my classes and meet with friend, turns out she's in the next class and as I'm about to enter the class I get a full on flashback of the dream which makes me wanna not enter the class anymore cause it's not really pleasant. And turns out the universe is not done fucking me. When I reached the centre the lyrics were , "Cause every time I open up, it hurts So I'm never gonna get too close to you Even when I mean the most to you In case you go and leave me in the dirt" When I'm about to enter the door and the flashback plays it went; "But I'm just a tourist to you" and it was the end of the song. This song played after the above one. I decide to shuffle I decide to start the playlist again and start walking to my class and take some time off instead and this fucking stroke of luck , MY FUCKING GOD.... It goes, "I'm way too good at goodbyes (I'm way too good at goodbyes) No way that you'll see me cry (no way that you'll see me cry)" I almost lost my last shred of sanity. I was about to throw hands with air. [GOOD ENDING IN COMMENTS]

I forgot to post anything about this, but I did the scene where I had to read some of my writing to the dnd party (twice!) and they were SO nice about it. I couldn't stop smiling. (which was kind of a weird disconnect since the scenes were super dark, lmao.) But augh, I'm so glad they were nice to meeee. My poor boy Rook is Going Through It right now, and things are about to get worse.

Next session we also might get to do our first version of ship combat using the rules I made which is kind of wild. I'm very nervous, but I feel like after this last session and sharing stuff I wrote with them (out loud!!!) I can handle it. Probably.

You're his favorite person in the manor (besides Ben)

Because everyone else is either stupid or weird, and that pisses him off

But you're only stupid and weird bc most of your brain is rotted out

And that's badass

You also don't talk much, so that's a big plus

You just kinda....cling

Instead of just saying "Hi Jeff!" or maybe a "omg my most favorite person in the world who is so beautiful and could rival that of jesus himself" you just kinda squeal in excitement and cling to his arm

You drool a lot, and have a bit of a biting issue

So when you cling to him he almost always also gets a mixture of slobber and blood from your previous meal on his hoodie

He's gotten used to this, so he just continues whatever he was doing while you follow him around, still clung to his arm and bent at a 90 degree angle, giggling and biting him every now and again

I think the only quirk of yours he doesn't like is when you lick him

Because it's always a big ass stripe right up his face

Have you ever smelt rotting flesh mixed with bad breath? No? He has.

You have a good reason for doing it though!

With how often his smile re-opens, you only notice the faint smell of blood

And with your seemingly never ending hunger, and way of thriving solely on instinct, you just kinda....slurp

The only creature allowed to lick him is Smile Dog, and that's because that's his son

He takes your arms away as punishment

No arms for 30 minutes >:(

Much to your dismay, because now you cant cling to him

So you make do with gnawing at him instead

You like to follow him around, even when he has to work

Which if you were anyone else he might be a bit annoyed

But you are harmless, and honestly what's the worst you could do?

So he allows you to stay, because it keeps you from doing something silly like losing one of your limbs in the maze like hallways of the manor

it took 4 hours to find

You like to gnaw on him as well, and it is actually your main form of communication with him since he's so tall and you can't really cling to him good

You don't get bored either, i think your brain is a little bit too rotted to become bored

So a lot of times you will just wrap around his leg and gnaw at him, humming and grunting happily while he works

Every now and then he will give you a paper he doesn't need for you to chew on instead of his expensive suit

It keeps you busy for a few minutes, but nothing is better than really expensive suits

It is very quickly into your office hang outs that he begins taking your limbs from you also

Because sometimes you like to go wander

Which is fine, but those are the only limbs they have for you

So i hope you can roll around

He'd also probably be the best non-doctor creep to put your limbs back on

He has no understanding of human anatomy, but he knows that if he gets a pop its a good sign

So even though you cant understand what im saying rn bc your brain is rotted DONT LET JEFF DO IT HE WILL SNAP YOUR ARM IN HALF

Ok so we all know this guy is a nervous wreck

Well imagine that x10 around you

His main chore when he's not working is chopping firewood for the manor

Often times, doing that takes up all day so as long as you just sit there and be good, he won't have as much nerves

But we all know that the second you see a butterfly or smth, you're off chasing after it into the woods

Cut to him tying you to the nearest tree so you cant get up and run again

Which works until your arm pops off

He doesn't even notice it at first, as he was too busy chopping the wood

But the second he does notice, he screams like a little girl

"When did that happen??!?!?" he'll say worriedly as he picks it up

He knows you are a zombie, but what he doesn't know is that your limbs are able to be put back on

Cue him freaking out bc he thought he broke you or something

So he takes you to E.J, tripping over his words as he tries to explain that he has no clue what happened and how sorry he is

And E.J just....pops it right back on

"Oh." Toby mutters

The next day he decides that chopping wood is too dangerous for you, even if you aren't the one doing the chopping

So he puts all of his hoodies on you as a make-shift bubble wrap

As well as a bunch of layers of pants

And then he ties you to the tree

Which works fine!

Until you start eating dirt

"No- Hey! Don't eat that!!"

You are just happy he is showing you some attention instead of just letting you sit there all day

Uh oh, Floyd fucked up. Big time. And azul takes a page outta Riddle’s book and exiles him from the dorm while he, Jade, and the other dorm members work on fixing his mess. I imagine he fuckin wrecked the kitchen and Azul had to shut down the lounge lol. So that’s how you end up with the 6’3 eel man at your door in need of a place to stay. And, out of the goodness of your heart, you let him. Grim isn’t happy, he plays it off as not trusting him, but truth is Floyd still scares him. But he’s being a wonderful house guest. He even offers to prepare dinner for the two of you! (He didn’t tell you the reason he was kicked from his own dorm). He has to stay with you for quite a while as the kitchen is cleaned and fixed, I wonder what kind of trouble he’ll get into… the yandere potential!!
