Kim is just as pissed to see Porsche there, he remembers that time Porsche pulled him over. (Kim had a background check done on Chay but it did not include a picture of Porsche so he didn't know that was Chays brother)
Kim quickly puts together they are related once he sees Porsche and Chay side by side. They are obviously related how could he have missed that?
Porsche tells Chay to hurry into the house so he could have a quick Chay with Chays date.
Chay nods and goes to say goodbye to Kim with a polite wave but Kim bring him in for a hug and kisses him. Porsche is not happy about it. Chay blushes and says goodbye again and runs inside, Porsche closes the door behind Chay and glares at Kim.
He tells Kim to stay away from his brother and that he knows who Kim is, he does not want his brother around anything related to Kim.
Kim tells Porsche that he wont be leaving Chay alone, if Chay wants Kim to leave him alone he can tell Kim himself. Porsche threatens that if Kim doesn't leave Chay alone he will tell Chay who Kim really is and Chay will hate him so if he wants to leave while Chay still thinks highly of him he better do it now and cut Chay off.
Kim knows its to early to tell Chay who he is. Reluctantly and begrudgingly he leaves.
(Porsche does give Chay a speech about how he thinks Kim is bad news and that Chay should stay away from him. Porsche doesn't want to hurt his brother so for now he keeps the fact Kim is part of the mafia, its better in Porsche eyes if Chay thinks Kim just cut off contact with him than if Chay knew who Kim really was. Porsche knows Chay would try and find out everything he can about the Theerapanyakuls if he knew and that would be way more dangerous)
Kim later texts Chay that he doesn't think Chays brother likes him very much (leaving out the reason why) but he doesn't want to stop seeing Chay so Chay should keep their dates to himself.
Chay doesn't want to lie to Porsche but he reallllllly likes Kim. Porsche cant base his whole view of Kim on just one meeting, surely it was just his older brother protective instincts kicking in and Chay knows Porsche has been a little stressed from work lately for some reason. Chay thinks if he waits a few months and then tries to reintroduce Porsche and Kim Porsche will have a way better reaction to Kim.
Chay agrees to hide their relationship from Porsche.
Kim takes him on cute dates and they grow closer quickly. Chay is so in love he doesn't realise he knows nothing about Kims personal life.
Its one day where Chay is going out with Ohm. They were both pretty drunk, Ohm was lost somewhere on the dance floor and Chay was happy to sit and drink by himself as he took a quick breather from the hours of dancing he had already endured. Chay is people watching. There's nothing better to do. He blinks rapidly and rubs his eyes.
He thinks he sees Kim, but Kim had said he was needed at work tonight.
Chay knows its not Kim but he gets up and follows the man at a distance, just curious what the man would do.
Chay follows him into the backroom of the club, too drunk to realise he should not be back here as it is employees only. He watches as the Kim look alike goes down some stairs and at the bottom there's a door.
The door wasn't fully closed so Chay peaks through the small gap to see inside. At this point he realises he probably shouldn't be here but he's already come this far.
From this close Chay has a better view of the Kim look alike and realises it isn't a Kim look alike, it really is Kim!
Chay can't make out the whole conversation but he catches bits and pieces there is a man standing in front of Kim he's telling Kim that if Kim wants something to remain safe Kim had to do something for the man. It was too hard to make out the specific details. Chay gasps as he watches Kim pull out a gun and shoots the man in front of him.
(The man was threatening Chay and Kim was not even entertaining the idea of whatever the man wanted)
Chay had no idea what he just witnessed but he knows he needs to get out of there NOW. How could Kim, his sweet doting boyfriend, have just pulled out a guy and shot a man with no hesitation? This is when Chay realises he doesn't really know anything about Kim and who he is outside of when they are together.
Chay runs. He leaves the club and sends Ohm a text he had felt sick and left.
When Chay makes it home and has just gotten out of the shower after spending way longer than needed trying to convince himself he had imagined it does he see he has a text from Kim.
'Sorry I couldn't come out with you tonight, there was an issue at work but it's solved now. Can't wait to see you tomorrow goodnight <3'
Chay reads the message again and again.
There was an issue at work but it's solved now. Can't wait to see you tomorrow.
They had planned a date tomorrow, Chay didn't think he could stomach seeing Kim so soon after this night.
Chay doesn't answer Kims text.
The morning comes both too quickly and too slowly. Chay had spent every second thinking about what to do. Does he confront Kim? Does he pretend it never happened? Does he cancel their date? Would it be weird to cancel their date? Would Kim be suspicious? Does Kim know Chay was there last night? Who was Kim really?
Chay spends so long agonising over what to do he doesn't realise he should've already been at the movie theater at least 30 minutes ago.
(look when i cant think of where to set a date movie date is my default option idc if they end up going on 40 movie dates thats all i have okay sjfghkjdfhgfd😭)
Chay jumps as he sees hes getting a call from Kim. AS he picks up his phone he notices he also has a bunch of missed texts from Kim too.
'Hey are you here? I can't find you anywhere? The movie is starting soon'
Chay really doesn't think he can see Kim right now so he appologies and tells Kim he is fealling really sick.
Kim asks if Porsche was home and without thinking Chay answers no that he had already left to go to work.
Porsche had been taking a lot more shifts recently.
Chay doesn't realize his mistake until Kim replys he will be at Chays in 20 minutes and hangs up.
+some bonus Kinnporsche :)
Even though Kim specifically told him not to do anything Kinn goes to the police station, he will NOT tolerate the Theerapanyakul name being disrespected!
He walks in itching to start throwing around his name and power and starts with whoever is at the front desk, he's demanding to know who gave his brother a ticket but he wasn't able to steal the ticket from Kim so he has nothing to go on as Kim snatched the ticket back before he got a good look.
The police know who Kinn is so they agree to wipe the ticket from Kims record but also Kinn is annoyed they aren't telling him who gave the ticket and is ordering that the officer is fired immediately.
Porsche walks past as Kinn is arguing that the officer needs to figure out who it was and bring them to Kinn.
Porsche tries to calm the situation. And it works. Kinn is distracted by the hot guy walking around with his shirt half undone (Porsche had just finished his shift so he is out of uniform) Kinn only agrees to forget about the whole getting the officer fired if Porsche agrees to go on a date with him. Porsche doesn't know who Kinn is as he didn't hear Kinn say his last name, and Kinn doesn't realize Porsche is an officer as he's out of uniform.
Porsche agrees to the date. The guy is hot even if he's an asshole, Porsche thinks he will at least be a good fuck if nothing else and he gets to get the guy away from arguing with his coworkers.
Kinn has someone look into Porsche background as soon as he gets home cause of course he does. That how he learns Porsche is a police officer, this makes him more interested.
And the next week once Porsche comes back to work the police officer Kinn was yelling at thanks Porsche for getting the guy to leave but also that it was dangerous and stupid of him to agree to a date. When Porsche asks why his coworker tells him that that guy was part of the Theerapanyakul family.
Its been a week but Porsche actually had a great time on that first date (and great sex) and so in the span of one week he had seen Kinn 4 times already. He really doesn't want to lose the best sex of his life but also he will NOT fuck a mafia boss. How did this even happen to him???
Porsche blocks Kinn. Kinn is persistent. Eventually Kinn corners Porsche and makes a deal, no strings attached just sex. Porsche hates himself but he agrees, he tells Kinn that under no circumstance is anyone ever allowed to find out about them, he could lose his job if its found out he was sleeping with a literal crime boss!
Police officer Chay pulls Kim over for speeding and as Kim is preparing his whole 'Do you know who i am?' Theerapanyakul speech that always gets him out of trouble as the cops know not to mess with the Theerapanyakuls.
Then he sees the prettiest man ever and the speech gets stuck and Kim just lets Chay give him the ticket without protesting.
Then Kim gets home and he's just walking around staring at the ticket when Kinn sees it and takes it from his hand like 'Who gave you a ticket? did you tell them who you were? I'll get them fired for disrespecting us' And Kim snatches the ticket back and tells Kinn to do nothing of the sort
Kim finds out Chays schedule and spends the next couple weeks doing stuff that makes Chay have to talk to him (he knows nothing will be permanent but also he cant do anything too bad that Chay will have to take him to jail) Kim does not consider the option that he could just talk to Chay like a normal person
One time Chay got sick so Porsche who is also a police officer ended up taking Chays shift and when Kim gets pulled over again he had decided today was going to be the day he asked Chay out on a date and has a giant bouquet of flowers in his hand then he rolls down the window and its not Chay.
The new offcier is kinda rude so Kim immediately pulls out his Theerapanyakul speech and flashes his ring and Porsche knows what that means so he lets Kim go grudgingly. Then he switches Chays patrol route because he thinks the old one is dangerous.
Chay gets a little sad that he wont see Kim anymore but then Kim starts showing up again.
When they finally manage to set a date and Kim drops Chay home afterwards and admits he kept getting in trouble as an excuse to talk to Chay Chay scolds him but thinks its cute.
Kim walks Chay to his door and then Porsche opens it and is pissed when he sees Kim.
#i rewrote chay finding kim out a couple times at first it was during a drug raid and he was gonna find kim and be conflicted but he lets#kim escape on purpose eventually#not that it wouldve mattered if he hadnt let kim go as the police is already corrupt but its the thought that counts#i might add that at a later point but i changed it cause i decided i wanted chay to know without kim knowing he knows for a little#yes porsche 'taking more shifts' is just so he can go and fuck kinn :)#porsche being stressed from work is also because of kinn hes paranoid people will find out hes fucking a mafia boss#kinnporsche do kinky police officer x mafia boss role play but also is it roleplay if thats just literally what they are#kim theerapanyakul#porchay kittisawasd#kimchay#kinnporsche#kpts#kinn theerapanyakul#porsche kittisawasd#mine

Apartment 2C | His Angel

· · ─────────────────────── · ·
Pairing: College!Yn x CrimeBossl!Harry
His Angel Masterlist
WC: 6K
Note: For this series, you don’t have to read all the parts. It’s up to you. They don’t pick off where the other ended. Just glimpses into their lives. I won’t post them in chronological order but I will list them in that order
· · ─────────────────────── · ·
Five months ago, if someone had suggested to Harry that he’d be standing in a tiny kitchen, stirring a pot of pasta, cooking for someone, that person would have been shot.
Yet here he was.
The wooden spoon felt foreign in his hand, awkward and useless compared to the weight of a gun. The scent of simmering marinara filled the air. Something warm, something domestic. It didn’t belong in his world. And yet, somehow, you did.
You padded into the kitchen, barefoot, wearing one of his shirts that hung off your frame.
“You’re stirring too aggressively,” you tease, sliding your arm around his waist.
Harry glanced down at you, the usual sharpness in his gaze dulling just a fraction. “I don’t do anything gently, sweetheart.”
You laughed, tilting your head up at him. “You do with me.”
His jaw tensed, but he didn’t argue. Instead, he lets you take the spoon from his grasp, your fingers brushing against his, soft and unscarred. He’d crushed men’s throats with these hands. Now, he let you guide them over something as simple as dinner.
He should have felt ridiculous. Weak. But when you smiled up at him, like he wasn’t the monster everyone else saw, he decided maybe, a very minuscule maybe, he could get used to this.
For a little while
"See? When you do it gently like this, it doesn't slosh all around everywhere. Less cleaning later. But I guess you don't clean up your own messes" you say, looking back at him. Looking away causes you to hiss as your arm accidentally touches the rim of the hot pot
Harry's attention snaps to you instantly at the sound of your hiss of pain. His eyes narrow, all traces of softness vanishing as he moves with speed, gently but firmly grasping your wrist to examine your arm.
"Fuck's sake, angel," he mutters, already pulling you toward the sink. He turns on the cold water and places your arm beneath the stream. "Let me see it."
The burn is minor, just a red mark across your forearm that will fade in an hour, but Harry's jaw is tight, his eyes cold as if the pan had personally offended him.
"It's nothing, Harry. Just a little burn." You try to pull your arm back, rolling your eyes at his overreaction. "I'm not made of glass, you know."
Harry doesn't release your wrist, keeping your skin under the cool water. His thumb traces circles against your pulse point, a gesture that might seem tender if not for the dangerous look in his eyes.
"Didn't say you were," he responds flatly. "But if I find out this piece of shit stove burned you because it's faulty, I'm replacing the entire kitchen."
"It's my fault for being clumsy, not the stove's." You can't help but laugh at his intensity. "Are you going to put a hit out on my kitchenware now?"
Harry's expression doesn't change, but something like amusement flickers in his eyes.
"Don't tempt me, princess." He finally releases your wrist, reaching for a clean kitchen towel to gently pat your skin dry. "Maybe I should just cook for you from now on."
"You? Cook?" You raise an eyebrow, teasing. "You have three chefs. When was the last time you even picked up a knife?”
A dark smirk crosses Harry's face as he takes the towel from your hand, his fingers lingering against yours for just a moment too long.
"Picked up a knife?" he repeats, his voice dropping lower. "This morning, actually."
He turns back to the stove, adjusting the heat with casual precision.
"Different purpose, though," he adds offhandedly, as if commenting on the weather rather than alluding to violence.
"That's not what I meant and you know it." You roll your eyes, nudging him with your hip as you reach for the salt. "I meant for cooking, not for...whatever it is you do with your mornings."
Harry watches you with that same calculating gaze, the one that makes hardened criminals confess their sins. On you, it just looks like he's trying to memorize every detail of your face.
"The less you know about my mornings, angel, the better you'll sleep at night." He takes the salt from your hand, adding a pinch to the sauce. "And I can cook. Survived on my own since I was fourteen, remember?"
His tone is matter-of-fact, no self-pity, just stating a harsh reality that shaped him.
"Well then, Gordon Ramsay, impress me." You fold your arms, challenging him with a playful smile.
Harry raises an eyebrow, amused by your defiance when most people would be cowering.
"Careful what you ask for, princess." He stirs the sauce once more. "I might just exceed your expectations... in more ways than one."
“Yeah, yeah,” you say, rolling your eyes playfully, reverting your attention back to the sauce
"Your place is too small," he comments abruptly, glancing around the modest apartment with critical eyes. "Security's shit too. Those locks wouldn't keep out a determined child."
He says this casually, as if discussing the weather rather than evaluating potential threats to your safety as he settles bak behind you.
You turn slightly to face Harry, still stirring the pasta sauce with careful motions.
"It's also cheap," you counter, meeting his critical gaze with a raised eyebrow. "Very much on my budget."
Harry scoffs, his fingers drumming against your hip bone as he surveys the apartment again. The cramped kitchen barely fits both of you, the living room furniture is clearly secondhand, and the walls are thin enough that you can hear the neighbors arguing sometimes. But it's yours, earned with your own money from your part-time job while balancing classes.
"Budgets can change," he says pointedly, reaching past you to turn down the heat on the stove. "Circumstances can change."
You shake your head, a conversation you've had multiple times before.
"We agreed, Harry. I pay my own way."
His jaw tightens, that familiar tension whenever his control is challenged. He steps back slightly, leaning against the counter with his arms crossed. Even in casual clothes, dark jeans and a black button-up with the sleeves rolled to expose tattooed forearms, he looks dangerous, out of place among your colorful kitchen towels and mismatched dishes.
"Stubbornness isn't a virtue, Y/N," he says, watching you with those calculating eyes. "It's a liability."
You taste the sauce with a small spoon, deliberately ignoring his comment.
"Maybe to you. To me, it's independence," you reply, reaching for the pasta strainer. "Can you grab the colander?"
Harry sighs but complies, retrieving it from where it hangs under the sink. His movements are fluid, economical. A man who never wastes energy.
"Independence," he repeats the word like it's a concept he finds amusing. "Everyone depends on someone, angel. The sooner you accept that, the safer you'll be."
Steam rises between you as you pour the pasta into the colander, the hot water rushing through the holes and disappearing down the drain. Harry watches your movements intently, as if even this mundane task deserves his full analysis.
"I grew up depending on my parents for everything," you explain, carefully shaking the excess water from the pasta. "Got to college...felt like I'd been thrown in the ocean and left to fend for myself. I want to learn, Harry."
Something flickers across his face, a shadow you've come to recognize. It appears whenever you reference your family, your normal upbringing, all the things he never had. His fingers tap against the counter, a brief rhythm before he stills them.
"Learning to swim and drowning yourself are different things," he replies, his voice softer than usual, almost contemplative. "You think I didn't learn? Fourteen years old, kicked out on the street. No college dorms. No meal plans."
He reaches past you to take the colander, his movements controlled as he transfers the pasta back to the pot. His proximity is deliberate, a reminder of his physical presence.
"I learned every fucking day," he continues, the curse word slipping out casually. "Difference is, I learned that independence is an illusion people sell themselves to feel better about their vulnerabilities."
Harry turns to face you fully now, leaning his hip against the counter. His eyes, always intense, search yours.
"But if you need to prove something to yourself, fine. Just don't confuse stubbornness with strength, angel. Not in my world."
He reaches out, tucking a strand of your golden-brown hair behind your ear, his touch gentler than his words.
"Now, are we going to eat this pasta, or just philosophize over it until it gets cold?"
"You're the one who started," you tease, rolling your eyes playfully.
"Always quick with that mouth," he murmurs, but there's no heat behind it. Just that private amusement that makes you feel like you've accomplished something significant, making Harry Styles almost lighthearted.
You turn your head, kissing his palm. "Get the garlic bread from the oven. I'll plate the pasta."
A low chuckle escapes him, the sound rough like he doesn't use it often enough. He lets his hand trail down your cheek before dropping it.
Harry moves with natural authority, grabbing an oven mitt, looking ridiculously out of place in his hand, and retrieving the golden-brown garlic bread. The scent fills the small kitchen, making it feel more like home than it usually does.
"Smells decent," he comments, which from him is high praise.
“Of course it does. I did half the work”
Harry's lips curve into that dangerous half-smile that makes his enemies nervous and sends heat through your body.
"Half the work?" he repeats, setting his bread down with controlled precision. "Sweetheart, you stirred the sauce twice and then burned yourself. I wouldn't call that half."
He steps closer, towering over you with that natural intimidation that follows him everywhere. When he reaches out, it's to brush a strand of hair from your face, the gesture surprisingly gentle from hands that have done such violent things.
"But if it makes you feel better to think you contributed..." he continues, voice dropping lower, "I'll let you have it."
"Let me have it?" You scoff,. "How gracious of you. Next you'll be telling me you let me win at Scrabble last week."
Harry's eyes darken slightly at your challenge, but there's amusement there too, the kind he reserves solely for you.
"I never let anyone win anything," he states flatly. "You beat me fair and square. Though your choice of words was...educational."
He gestures toward the table, a subtle command in the movement.
"Sit. Eat. Before I decide to show you exactly what I meant by 'letting you have it.'"
The double meaning hangs in the air between you, charged with promise.
You almost choke on your own spit, ignoring his comment as you sit, “I don’t know what you’re taking about. I used perfectly reasonable words”
Harry watches you with predatory amusement as you try to recover, settling into the chair across from you. The small table means your knees brush against his under the surface.
"Perfectly reasonable," he repeats, twirling pasta around his fork with deliberate movements. "Is that what we're calling 'fellatio' now? Especially when you played it on a triple word score."
His expression remains neutral, but his eyes are dancing with that dark humor that makes your stomach flip.
"It's a medical term," you defend yourself primly, taking a bite of pasta to hide your smile. "Not my fault you have a dirty mind."
Harry makes a low sound in his throat, something between a laugh and a growl.
"Angel, my mind isn't just dirty. It's fucking filthy." He takes a sip of wine, eyes never leaving yours. "Especially where you're concerned."
You ignore him, simply because you were too flustered to respond.
As you both ate from two mismatched plates, you catch him surveying your apartment again, his eyes lingering on the windows, the door, the fire escape visible through the kitchen window. Always assessing, always planning for threats.
"Stop casing my apartment like you're planning to rob it," you say without looking up, knowing exactly what he's doing.
Harry sets the fork down, his lips quirking up at one corner.
"If I was planning to rob it, angel, you wouldn't see me casing it," he replies, picking up the kife and cutting the bread with precise movements. "And there's nothing here worth taking."
Your jaw drops. Harry watches your theatrical reaction with that amusement dancing in his eyes. He sets the knife down deliberately, turning to face you fully as you cross your arms over your chest.
He pauses, his eyes finding yours across the small space. "Except you."
The casual possessiveness in his tone should probably concern you more than it does.
"Oh no you don't! Don't try to fix it by saying that," you exclaim, fighting the smile threatening to break through your mock offense.
"Fix it?" Harry repeats, his voice dropping lower. "When have you ever known me to backtrack on anything I've said, sweetheart?"
"So you don't think I own anything of value?".
"Your textbooks might fetch fifty cents at a second-hand store," he says thoughtfully, then gestures toward your living room. "That TV's at least two generations old. Your laptop's password is your birthday. Backwards. Hardly secure."
His hand reaches out, fingers lightly gripping your chin. The touch is gentle but firm, a contradiction like everything else about him.
"But value? That's subjective, isn't it?" His voice drops lower. "To me, the only thing of value in this entire building is standing right in front of me, getting worked up over pasta and garlic bread."
His thumb brushes over your lower lip, his expression shifting to something more serious.
"I could buy you anything, Y/N. Everything. But the one thing I want is the thing you insist on giving freely. That's the fucking irony."
The room feels smaller suddenly, the air between you charged with something electric. Your mock indignation melts away under his touch, your voice dropping to a whisper that betrays your affected composure.
"Which is?" you ask, the words barely audible.
Harry's eyes darken as they track the movement of your lips. His thumb still rests against your bottom lip, applying the slightest pressure. The pasta forgotten on the table in front of you.
"Your trust," he answers, his voice rough around the edges. "Your fucking choice to be here. With me."
His free hand grips your chair, pulling you towards him as if you weighed nothing
"I've bought loyalty. I've bought silence. I've bought respect," he continues, his free hand moving to your waist, fingers splaying possessively against the fabric of his shirt that you're wearing. "But I can't buy the way you look at me when you think I don't notice."
His grip on your chin tightens slightly, tilting your face up further.
"Can't buy the way you kiss me like I'm not the monster everyone else sees," he murmurs, his breath warm against your lips. "Can't buy the way you argue with me when men twice your size wouldn't dare."
His eyes flick down to your mouth, then back to your eyes. The intensity in his gaze makes your heart race, the danger and desire inseparable with Harry.
"That's the irony, angel. The one fucking thing I can't obtain through force or money is the only thing I actually want."
He leans in closer, his lips nearly brushing yours.
"Now tell me again how you don't own anything of value."
The tension between you stretches taut for a moment, his confession hanging in the air, raw and unexpected from a man who guards his thoughts like state secrets. Your heart pounds against your ribs, his words sending heat spiraling through your body.
And then, in classic Y/N fashion, you break it with humor.
"I... I have a limited edition eyeshadow palette that was hard to get," you whisper, your eyes wide with mock seriousness. "Better go lock it up."
For a split second, Harry's expression freezes in disbelief. Then something rare happens, he laughs. Not the calculated chuckle he uses in business meetings or the cold sound that makes his enemies nervous, but a genuine laugh that transforms his face entirely.
His forehead drops to yours, his body still caging you against the chair but now slightly shaking with amusement.
"Fucking hell, angel," he mutters, his fingers moving from your chin to curl around the nape of your neck. "You're impossible."
His other hand tightens at your waist, pulling you onto his lap. The heat of his body seeps through the thin fabric of the shirt you're wearing.
"Here I am, practically confessing, " he cuts himself off, shaking his head slightly. "And you're worried about fucking makeup."
Before you can respond with another quip, his mouth captures yours in a kiss that's equal parts punishment and reward. His lips move against yours with practiced precision, knowing exactly how to make your knees weak, how to steal the breath from your lungs.
When he pulls back, just enough to look into your eyes, his expression has shifted back to that dangerous intensity.
"Keep making jokes, sweetheart," he murmurs against your lips. "We both know it's how you handle things that scare you."
His hand slides from your waist to the small of your back, pressing you impossibly closer.
"And we both know I fucking terrify you sometimes," he adds, his voice dropping to that velvet-rough tone that makes your insides liquify. "Don't we?"
"You dont scare me. You’re like...a big kitten"
Harry's eyes narrow dangerously at your words, but there's a glint of something like appreciation beneath the surface, that constant push-pull between you that he secretly craves.
"A kitten," he repeats slowly, testing the word like it's foreign on his tongue.
His hand slides from the nape of your neck to wrap gently around your throat, not squeezing, just resting there as a reminder of his strength, his control. His thumb traces your pulse point, feeling the rapid beat that betrays your casual words.
"Interesting theory," he murmurs, leaning in until his lips brush the shell of your ear. "Should we test it?"
In one fluid movement, he lifts you onto the table, pasta and dinner forgotten. His hands grip your thighs, spreading them so he can step between them, bringing your bodies flush against each other. The wood is cold against your bare legs, a stark contrast to the heat radiating from him.
"Kittens purr," he says, his voice dropping to that dangerous register that makes your stomach flip. "They play with their food."
His lips trail down your neck, teeth grazing lightly over your skin.
"They have claws," he continues, his hands sliding up your thighs, pushing the hem of his shirt higher on your legs. "And they take what they want."
He pulls back just enough to look at you, his eyes dark with desire but still calculating, still watching your reactions with that intense focus.
"Still think I'm a kitten, Y/N?" he challenges, his thumbs tracing circles on your inner thighs. "Or should I show you exactly what kind of animal I really am?"
The pasta continues cooling on the plates beside you, dinner clearly taking a backseat to the heat building between you.
The shrill sound of the doorbell cuts through the charged atmosphere like a knife, jarring and unexpected. Harry's body tenses immediately, his hands stilling on your thighs as his posture shifts from predatory to alert in an instant.
"Expecting someone?" he asks, his voice suddenly cold, all traces of playfulness vanished.
Before you can even answer, he's already moving, one hand reaching beneath his jacket that hangs on your kitchen chair, extracting a matte black handgun you hadn't even realized was there.
"Harry, " you start, sliding off the table quickly.
He holds up a hand, silencing you with a single gesture. His entire demeanor has transformed. This isn't your Harry anymore, with his teasing smirks and possessive touches. This is the Harry that makes men disappear, that runs half the city's underground.
"Behind me," he instructs, voice leaving no room for argument.
The doorbell rings again, more insistent this time. Harry moves silently toward your apartment door, positioning himself at an angle where he won't be immediately visible when it opens. The gun hangs at his side, finger resting beside the trigger rather than on it, a small mercy that indicates he hasn't completely lost his composure.
He glances back at you, jaw tight. "Who would be coming here unannounced?"
Your heart pounds in your chest, the mood completely shattered. The food sits forgotten on the table as Harry waits for your answer, his entire body coiled like a spring ready to release.
"I'm not opening that door until I know who's on the other side," he says, voice low and dangerous. "So I suggest you start talking, angel."
The doorbell rings a third time, followed by an impatient knock.
"Harry, don't be ridiculous. This building is mostly for students. Just let me answer the door. it could be anyone"
His expression darkens at your dismissal of his concern, his jaw tightening visibly. The gun doesn't lower.
"Ridiculous?" he repeats, the word sharp with tension. "There's nothing ridiculous about security, Y/N."
The knocking continues, more insistent now. You move toward the door, but Harry's arm shoots out, blocking your path. His eyes, cold and calculating now, lock with yours.
"Just because you live in a building full of students doesn't mean everyone who comes knocking is harmless," he says, voice low and controlled. "You think my enemies don't know about you? You think they wouldn't use a fucking college kid as bait?"
You can see the genuine concern beneath his harsh exterior. The fear that isn't for himself but for you. It's one of those rare glimpses of vulnerability that he would never admit to.
"Fine," he concedes after a moment, tucking the gun into the waistband of his jeans at the small of his back, concealed but accessible. "Answer it. But I'm standing right here."
He positions himself just to the side of the door, where he won't be immediately visible but can intervene in seconds. His entire body remains tense, ready to spring into action.
"Go on then," he says with a nod toward the door, his voice softening just slightly. "But if it's someone you don't know, you close that door immediately. Understood?"
The knocking comes again, followed by a muffled voice that sounds young, possibly female. Harry watches you intently, waiting for your recognition or confusion, already calculating his next move before you've even reached for the doorknob.
As you open the door, Harry remains coiled and ready just out of sight. When you greet the visitor by name, some of the lethal tension leaves his body, though his hand still hovers near his lower back where the gun is concealed.
Standing in your doorway is Jess, petite with short blue hair, wearing pajama pants and a university sweatshirt. Her expression is apologetic.
"Hey, sorry to bother you," she says, fidgeting slightly with the sleeve of her sweatshirt. "But I think your shower is leaking into my bathroom ceiling? There's like, a growing water stain and some dripping."
Her eyes flick past you, catching a glimpse of Harry's imposing figure lurking in your apartment. Her eyes widen slightly, clearly not expecting you to have company.
"Oh! I didn't realize you had someone over," she says, lowering her voice conspiratorially. "I can come back later if, "
Harry steps partially into view, his expression neutral but intimidating. He's tucked the gun away completely now, but his presence alone is enough to make Jess take a small step back.
"Plumbing issue?" he asks, his voice deceptively casual as he places a possessive hand on the small of your back. "I can take a look at it."
The offer is surprising, Harry Styles, mob boss, offering to check your leaky shower. But you recognize it for what it is: his way of controlling the situation, of ensuring no strangers need to enter your apartment.
Jess blinks rapidly, clearly intimidated by Harry's sudden appearance and intense gaze. "Um, yeah, it's just, there's water coming through my ceiling. From her bathroom, I think."
Harry nods once, decisive. "We'll handle it."
The 'we' doesn't escape your notice, nor does the way his fingers press slightly more firmly against your back, a silent reminder of his presence.
As soon as the door closes, you turn to face Harry, unable to resist pointing out his overreaction. His hand remains on your lower back, warm and possessive.
"See? Jessica from 1C didn't come to strangle me," you say with a teasing lilt to your voice.
Harry doesn't share your amusement. His eyes remain serious, that calculating look still present as he glances back at the door.
"This time," he replies flatly, finally removing his hand from your back to run it through his dark hair. "Blue hair, five-foot-nothing, no visible weapons. Could still be working for someone."
You start to laugh, thinking he's joking, but his expression remains deadly serious.
"You're not kidding," you realize aloud, your smile fading.
"No, I'm not," he confirms, moving past you toward your bathroom. "This building has shit security. Anyone could walk in. No doorman, no cameras in the hallways, locks a child could pick."
He pauses at the bathroom door, turning back to look at you with an intensity that makes your breath catch.
"You think I'm paranoid? Paranoid keeps people alive in my world, angel."
Without waiting for a response, he enters your small bathroom, kneeling to examine the plumbing under your sink. The sight is almost comical, Harry Styles, feared mob boss, inspecting your pipes in his expensive clothes.
"Your neighbor seems scared of her own shadow," He comments as he works, his voice echoing slightly in the tiled room. "Good. Scared people don't ask questions."
He glances up at you, standing in the doorway. "That pasta's getting cold. Might as well eat while I check this. Shower's probably just needs a new seal."
The casual domesticity of his words contrasts sharply with the gun still tucked into his waistband, visible now as his shirt rides up while he works.
You settle on the counter, plate balanced in your lap, watching as Harry returns from the bathroom. There's something fascinating about seeing him in this light, handling mundane problems with the same efficiency he probably applies to his more illicit activities.
You would have made an inappropriate joke about the sexy plumber seducing you but decided against it
"So... where did you learn to fix plumbing issues?" you ask, twirling pasta around your fork.
Harry grabs his own plate, but remains standing, leaning against the opposite counter. Something about him never quite relaxes enough to sit properly when he doesn't have to.
"When you live in the places I've lived," he says, taking a bite of pasta, "you either learn to fix things yourself or you live with them broken."
He chews thoughtfully, then adds: "Foster home number three. Pipes burst in winter. Foster father was too drunk to call someone, too broke to pay them if he did. I was eleven."
He delivers this information casually, as if discussing the weather rather than another fragment of his broken childhood. These rare glimpses into his past always come unexpectedly, dropped into conversation like they don't matter, when you both know they shaped everything he became.
"Your shower's fine," he continues, changing the subject abruptly. "It's the seal around the drain that's worn out. Easy fix. I'll have someone come tomorrow."
Before you can protest about handling it yourself, he adds: "Someone I trust. Who won't report back about the layout of your apartment or the fact that you sleep with your window unlocked."
His eyes meet yours over his plate, challenging you to argue.
"This pasta's decent," he says, the closest thing to a compliment your cooking is likely to receive. "Though the garlic bread's burnt on the bottom."
"Hey! You were on oven duty," you protest, pointing your fork accusingly at him. "I don't accept this defamation."
A hint of amusement crosses Harry's face, softening his features momentarily. He takes another bite of the pasta, eyebrow raised.
"I was distracted," he replies, his voice dropping lower. "Someone was walking around in my shirt, looking like that."
His eyes travel deliberately down your body, lingering on your bare legs dangling from the counter. The intensity in his gaze makes heat rise to your cheeks despite yourself.
"Besides," he continues, setting his plate down and moving toward you, "I don't recall hearing any complaints about my performance in other areas."
He positions himself between your legs, hands resting on either side of your thighs on the counter. The casual intimacy of the position, him standing between your parted knees, your plate still balanced in your lap, feels both domestic and charged.
"Eat your dinner, angel," he instructs, voice gentler than before. "Then I'll take a proper look at that shower."
You take another bite, watching him over your fork.
"You know, normal boyfriends don't carry guns to dinner," you comment, unable to help yourself.
Harry's expression darkens slightly, though not with anger.
"Normal boyfriends don't have enemies who would put a bullet in their head for territory," he counters, reaching up to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. "Or who would hurt what's theirs to send a message."
His thumb traces your cheekbone, the gesture at odds with his harsh words.
"If normal is what you want, " he starts, then stops himself, jaw tightening. "You knew what I was when you got into this, Y/N."
The rare use of your full name instead of a pet name underscores the seriousness of his statement.
"Kidding, kidding. God, no one can make a joke around here," you say with an exaggerated eye roll. "Eat," you command firmly.
Your teasing tone breaks through his serious demeanor, and Harry blinks in surprise as you shove a forkful of pasta into his mouth.
Harry's eyes widen slightly at your boldness, but then something unexpected happens, he actually complies, chewing the pasta you've fed him. A reluctant smile tugs at the corner of his mouth as he swallows.
"Demanding tonight, aren't we?" he says, but the tension has left his shoulders. He reaches for his own plate again, leaning against the counter beside you rather than caging you in.
There's a comfortable silence as you both eat, the earlier heaviness dissipating into something more relaxed. Harry glances at your mismatched plates, the cheap cutlery, the faded dish towel hanging from the oven door.
"You know," he says after a moment, his tone lighter, "when I was your age, I was eating cold pizza over a sink most nights. If I ate at all."
It's offered casually, not as a bid for sympathy but almost like an admission, that despite his criticisms of your apartment, he understands something about making do with what you have.
He takes another bite, then adds: "This is better."
The simple statement carries weight coming from him, Harry Styles doesn't give compliments easily, and rarely acknowledges when something is good in his life.
"Your neighbor's going to be telling everyone about the scary man in apartment 2C now," he comments, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Might help with your building security, actually. No one will dare knock on your door."
He reaches over to steal a piece of garlic bread from your plate, the gesture surprisingly normal, almost playful.
You watch as Harry takes a bite of the stolen garlic bread, a small smile playing on your lips. There's something endearing about seeing him do something so ordinary as food theft, a glimpse of what might have been in another life.
"Hey, look at you now. At 27, you have three private chefs under your hand," you point out. "I'd say you've done well for yourself."
Harry chews thoughtfully, considering your words. There's a flicker of something in his eyes, perhaps pride, perhaps something more complicated.
"Three chefs, two mansions, and enough enemies to fill a stadium," he replies with a wry twist to his mouth. "The American dream."
He sets his empty plate in the sink, turning to lean against the counter facing you. In the soft kitchen light, some of his sharp edges seem softer. Not gone, never gone, but less pronounced.
"Done well for myself," he repeats your words, testing them. "Depends on who you ask. My probation officer would disagree."
This is delivered with a hint of dark humor, you both know he hasn't had a probation officer in years. He's well beyond the reach of conventional law enforcement now.
"But yeah," he continues, surprising you with his candor, "from where I started? Could've gone much worse."
He reaches for your empty plate, taking it from your hands and placing it in the sink with his. The domestic gesture is at odds with the man you know he is outside these walls, but that contradiction is part of what drew you to him in the first place.
"You know what's strange?" he asks, turning back to you. "Having dinner in a normal apartment, with normal problems like leaky showers and burnt garlic bread. Sometimes I forget what that's like."
He doesn't say the rest, that you're his connection to a world he left behind long ago, a glimpse into an ordinary life he sacrificed for power and survival.
"Well, no matter how you got to where you are, I'm proud of you Harry. Truly," you say softly, meaning every word.
Your words hit him like a physical force, he actually stills, his hand freezing halfway through running it through his hair. Something vulnerable flashes across his face before he can mask it.
Harry looks at you for a long moment, his expression uncharacteristically open. When he speaks, his voice is rougher than usual.
"Proud," he repeats, as if testing how the word feels. "That's... that's not something I hear often."
“Well, now you’re hearing it from me”
He moves closer to you again, but this time it's different, less predatory, more seeking. His hands find your waist, thumbs brushing against the fabric of his shirt that you're wearing.
"You're proud of a criminal," he says, but there's no bite to it, just a statement of fact. "A man who's done things that would make you run if you knew all of them."
His forehead drops to rest against yours, an unexpectedly tender gesture.
"You're something else, angel," he murmurs. "Looking at the devil and seeing something worth saving."
One hand leaves your waist to cup your cheek, his thumb tracing your cheekbone with surprising gentleness.
"I don't deserve it," he admits quietly. "But I'm selfish enough to take it anyway."
The confession hangs in the air between you, more honest than his usual carefully constructed responses. For a moment, he's not the feared mob boss or the dangerous criminal, he's just a man who never heard the words 'I'm proud of you' growing up.
"Contrary to whatever belief you have, it's normal for girlfriends to be proud of their boyfriends," you state matter-of-factly, reaching up to touch his face. "Okay? Doesn't matter for what."
Your words make him pull back slightly, just enough to look into your eyes. The vulnerability is still there, raw and unfamiliar on his features.
Harry lets out a short laugh, but it's not entirely humorous.
"Normal girlfriends are proud of their boyfriends for getting promotions or running marathons," he says, his hand still cradling your face. "Not for successfully running three territories without starting a war. Not for, "
He cuts himself off, shaking his head slightly.
"Christ, Y/N," he breathes out. "The things you make me feel... they're dangerous. Make me weak."
Your eyes meet his, challenging.
"Is that what you think this is?" you ask softly. "Weakness?"
His thumb traces your bottom lip, his eyes following the movement.
"No," he admits finally. "It's the only thing that makes me feel fucking human anymore."
He leans in, pressing his forehead against yours again.
"But don't say you're proud of me," he murmurs. "Not when I'm the reason you have to check your car for bombs. Not when I'm why you can't tell your parents who you're dating. Not when, "
Your kiss silences his self-deprecating spiral, soft but insistent. Harry responds immediately, one hand sliding to the nape of your neck while the other grips your hip.
"Shut up," you murmur against his lips.
A low sound rumbles in his chest, somewhere between a laugh and a groan. When he pulls back slightly, his eyes are darker, but there's a hint of amusement in them.
"Telling me to shut up now?" he asks, his voice rough but lighter than before. "That's brave of you, angel."
His fingers thread through your hair, gentle despite his words.
"You're the only person who can get away with that, you know," he adds softly, something like wonder in his tone. "The only one who can tell me to shut up and live to tell about it."
You roll your eyes at his dramatics.
"Lucky me," you tease, fingers playing with the collar of his shirt.
Harry's expression softens just slightly, that rare genuine smile tugging at his lips.
"No," he corrects, pulling you closer. "Lucky me."
His lips find yours again, this time with more intent, effectively ending any further discussion about worth or pride or danger. The pasta grows cold in the sink, forgotten as he loses himself in the one person who sees past his carefully constructed walls.
As you both finish loading the last dishes into your tiny dishwasher, there's a comfortable silence between you. Harry checks his phone, his expression shifting back to something more business-like.
"I need to go," he says, tucking the phone away. "Got a meeting I can't miss."
You try not to think about what kind of meeting requires his attention at this hour.
"Someone will be here tomorrow morning to fix that shower," he continues, shrugging on his jacket and checking that his gun is secure. "Don't let anyone in unless they give you the password."
"Let me guess," you say dryly, leaning against the counter. "The password is 'Harry Styles is the most humble man alive'?"
Harry's lips twitch as he adjusts his cuffs.
"Close. It's 'burnt garlic bread,'" he replies, stepping closer to you. "And they'll show proper ID. My people know the drill."
His hand cups your face, thumb brushing your cheek in what's become a familiar gesture.
"Lock the door behind me," he instructs, his tone serious despite your earlier teasing. "All of them. And for fuck's sake, close that window in your bedroom."
"Yes, sir," you mock salute, earning a warning look that holds more affection than heat.
He kisses you one last time, deep and thorough, like he's memorizing the taste of you.
"I'll call you tomorrow," he says against your lips before pulling away. "Stay safe, angel."
You follow him to the door, watching as he checks the hallway before stepping out.
"Harry?" you call softly before he can leave.
He turns, eyebrow raised.
"I'm still proud of you," you say with a small smile.
Something flashes across his face, too quick to catch, before he shakes his head slightly, that rare genuine smile making another appearance.
"Impossible woman," he mutters, but there's warmth in his voice. "Lock the door, Y/N."
You do as he asks, hearing his footsteps fade down the hallway, knowing that somewhere in the building, his security team is watching, making sure he leaves safely. It's just another normal night with your not-so-normal boyfriend.

HII this is my fluff wip tht i scratch away bc i hv too many smut reqs
Summary : One of them writes a love letter to get over their feelings, but it accidentally ends up in the other’s hands. Not knowing the letter is about them, they ask the writer for advice on how to respond to their own letter, sparking a chain of misunderstandings until the truth is revealed.
What i had in mind :
-Jake wrote it to y/n
-He accidentally lost the letter while he was walking on the hallway
-The letter ended up in front of y/n’s locker
-She picked it up and read it
-Told jake abt the letter (but they r both idiots) until somehow they figure it out bc it got obvious
Feel free to change the plot!! ( I might write a part 2 from ur fic if u make it <3)
Letter of the Heart
pairing : jake x f!reader ୨ৎ content / warning(s) : fluff, they're friends, funny misunderstanding cause they're idiots(jake specifically but its okay <3), highschool au ୨ৎ word count : 1k ・ archive

synopsis. when y/n finds a love letter at her locker, she has no idea who it’s from, so she asks her best friend, jake, for help with what to say. jake, being the good friend he is, jumps in—giving advice, joking around, and even offering to “practice” her responses.
ᐢ..ᐢ lev notes : ended this on a cliffhanger hehe >:3 hope you like what i did mama belle <3 cause i had an awesome time, thinking of what to add on to make it more fun.
part 2 here!
it all starts with a love letter. jake, who’s been silently carrying a crush on you for ages, finally pours out his feelings on paper. he didn't plan on giving you the letter—it just something he wrote to work through his emotions. but the next day, while walking to class in a rush, the letter slips out of his notebook and lands right in front of your locker.
later, you spot the folded note, curious, and decide to read it. your heart flutters as you take in the words—gentle, vulnerable, clearly written by someone who has been holding these feelings close. but who could it be? the handwriting is neat, but familiar. intrigued, you decide to find out.
during break time, you bring it up to jake. “i found this letter outside my locker,” you say, holding it up, eyes sparkling with curiosity. “it’s… really sweet. but i have no idea who wrote it!”
jake, obliviously laughs. “a secret admirer, huh?” he teases, thinking of all the possible suspects. “what did it say?”
you blush reading a line out loud: “‘every time i see you smile, i feel like everything makes sense.’” jake’s heart skips a beat, hearing his own words, but he quickly pushes away the strange familiarity of it.
-------------
later that afternoon in the cafeteria. you hold up the love letter, cheeks flushed as you read through it again. you sigh looking to jake for help. “it says, ‘you make me believe in all the little things that make life beautiful.’ how… how am i supposed to respond to something like that?”
jake laughs, trying to brush off the pang of recognition he feels. did he… write that? he wonders but shakes the thought away, assuming it’s just an odd coincidence.
“maybe say something like, ‘i didn’t know i had such an impact on you!’” he suggests. “or if you want to be bolder, add, ‘tell me more about these little things.’ you know, just to tease them a bit.”
you beam, nodding. “that’s actually perfect! you’re a genius at this.”
jake chuckles, putting on a casual smile while his heart races. “just call me the love doctor.” he can’t shake the strange feeling, but he pushes it aside, too embarrassed to imagine he might be your admirer.
-------------
in the library the next day, you and jake go over the letter again, trying to analyze every word.
“whoever wrote this,” you murmur, pointing to a line, “has a way with words. ‘every time i see you smile, i feel like the world gets a little brighter.’ that’s… that’s intense. do you know anyone who’d say something like that?”
jake’s pulse quickens as the words ring a familiar bell in his head. that sounds like… something he would write.
trying to cover, he shrugs. “uh, well, it’s probably someone with a soft side,” he jokes, mentally kicking himself. “maybe they read a lot, or… watch a lot of rom-coms?”
you laugh, clearly enjoying the mystery. “could be… but it feels so genuine, like they really meant it.”
he tries to smile, but his mind races. could it really be… his own letter? the thought sends his heart racing, and he fights to keep his cool, feeling embarrassed that he might be guiding you to respond to his letter.
-------------
that night, as jake lies in bed, an unsettling thought lingers in his mind. could it actually be… my letter?
the more he thinks about it, the more familiar those lines sound, and his stomach twists with both excitement and dread. sitting up, he grabs his backpack and rummages through it, pulling out his notebook. he flips through the pages, looking for the tucked-away letter he remembers putting there. but as he gets to the back of the notebook, his stomach drops.
the letter isn’t there.
“no, no, no…” he mutters, flipping through each page again. but it’s nowhere to be found. he recalls that day in the hallway when he’d been rushing to class. it must’ve slipped out then!
jake groans, covering his face with both hands, completely mortified. 'she’s been reading my letter this whole time… and i’ve been helping her respond to it!'
-------------
as you sit in class together, you try to bring up the letter again. “so, about my response… i was thinking of adding a line about—”
jake quickly interrupts, laughing a bit too loudly. “oh, yeah, sure, whatever you think, it’s all good!” he blushes, then looks away. “i mean… i’m sure whoever it is would be thrilled with anything you say.”
you narros your eyes, studying his red face. “are you okay, jake? you’ve been acting really… weird since yesterday.”
jake scratches the back of his neck, glancing everywhere but you. “who, me? no, no, i’m fine. totally normal. it’s… totally normal for me to help you write a love letter to someone i don’t even know, right?”
he lets out a nervous laugh, mentally cringing at how ridiculous he sounds, and you just raise an eyebrow, watching him closely. is he blushing? you wonder, putting the pieces together bit by bit. but you don’t say anything yet, waiting for the right moment.
-------------
the next day, you read the letter over again, something finally clicking. as you recall jake’s reactions, the strange look in his eyes every time you talked about the letter, you suddenly realize the truth.
the next day during lunch, you turn to jake, a small knowing smile on your face. “jake… i have a hunch. about who wrote the letter.”
jake’s heart stops. “oh? who… who do you think it is?”
your eyes search his, twinkling with a new understanding. “i think it was… you.”
jake’s eyes widen, and his mouth opens, but before he can respond, the bell rings, signaling the end of lunch. you stand up, leaving him stunned in his seat as you head off to class with a glance over your shoulder, you give him a teasing smile.
“see you after class, jakey~” you say with a playful tone.
jake is left sitting there, his heart racing, unsure of what you’ll say—or what he’ll say—when you finally meet again.

Let me just quickly say, cross-overs can sometimes get REALLY difficult to map out and write in a cohesive way but you have absolutely NAILED IT!! I absolutely ADORE LoF!!! I usually don’t even bother reading fics with the ‘Richard Grayson is Richard Parker’ premise cause I felt like they were super confusing and overcomplicated but this fic?? SUPERB. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. OH MY GOD I ADORE IT. Everyone’s characterizations are so nice and wonderful aaaaaaah!!!! <33333
Ok ok I did actually have a question as well: would you be willing to share what your writing process looks like in terms of a chapter you’ve already posted? I was just wondering since I’m also currently working on my own fic (it’s been a few years but I managed to get fixated on an idea and it grew legs lol) and I’m currently fighting the organization of it haha.
How do you keep track of the plot points and/or foreshadowing you want to get a ‘lightbulb!’ moment for later? Do you have any tips?
Thank you so much! I absolutely adore your writing AND your art is so gorgeous omg it adds so much to the incredible story :DDD I hope you have a good day!!
I have a secret: I actually didn't like "Richard Grayson is Richard Parker' tag for a while for the same reason. Sometimes they felt like they missed the mark or it's just. A thing that's there? I almost didn't include it for LoF, but I'm glad I did because it changed the direction in such a big way.
Another secret: this made me incredibly happy because I have read so many wikis and scoured the internet to make sure that I had enough info on both fandoms so LoF could make sense to anyone who's reading it, whether they know Spider-Man, Batfam, or neither at all. Sometimes I worry a lot before I post that I'll miss a mark and will confuse people.
As for the question: I definitely am willing to share what my writing process looks like!
Be prepared for under the cut, I love to yap. It's in my blood to yap. And that's why it took a minute to get to this ask haha
(Spoilers for Leap of Faith!! Everything mentioned has already been published ((Chapters 1-11))
I had to go and find out which chapter I wanted to use as an example and I think we're gonna go with Chapter 5 for the most part :)
My writing process is, as described by alighterwood:
I think the description fits because while I'm all over the place, I have to be very detail oriented and I store everything in one spot.
Starting with the overall process, what I find is most helpful for me, when organizing, is having a notebook rather than doing it all digitally. I've been using a 70 sheet notebook that I had lying around waiting to be used, and as of yesterday, I officially filled the entire thing front to back. It's been an incredible help, for a lot of reasons, but mostly because it's a lot easier to remember something I physically wrote down than it is to remember something I typed. I'm now on to my second notebook for LoF, and I might even have to get a third.
In another ask, startupkat asked me this:
And I shared a little about my outline process there, but I'll try to go into a little more depth here. Emphasis on little because this is so long.
I write a truly insane amount of outlines in this notebook.
This is just what I can show you, but a good chunk of the notebook is just outlines. Over and over and over again. That's because they're always changing/adapting based on so many different factors. Sometimes I get to a chapter I thought I had fully planned out and then realize it just doesn't work anymore. Other times, I get to the chapter and realize I don't want to write that anymore/isn't as interesting as I thought it would be. A few times I got halfway through a POV of a scene I was struggling on and decided to switch POV's, which will change up the outline for a chapter every now and then.
Which is why I don't write incredibly detailed outlines and try to keep it vague until I actually get to that chapter. It's a lot less daunting to rewrite a chapter outline than it is to rewrite the entire outline.
Fic outlines and Chapter outlines look a lot alike.
This is what I said in the other ask, but I didn't elaborate on it all the way.
I make a list just like that, and then I try to put it in chronological order/in an order that makes sense. I keep the Fic outline vague by writing down "Goals" for a chapter rather than scenes. But I also keep notes to myself if I really think something is important. The more important I think a scene needs to be, the more details I write down to make sure my future self recalls what I had in mind when I thought it up.
Really simple example:
Chap 1 Goal: Peter gets to Gotham and meets Babs while running around. Meet Nightwing too? Get shelter.
Chapter 2 Goal: Bats are like "???" about Peter. Batfam dynamic important... Peter stalking Batfam back? Peter meet Batman >:)
When I get to a chapter, that's when I make a far more detailed list of wants/needs/goals. It's the Step 2 from the Step 1. Here are some examples from Chapter 5:
Needed to have:
More POV's from universe 1299 (Peter's home universe)
Tony's POV more specifically, how he's doing/feeling, what he's figured out
What they've figured out on 1299 side vs what's going on in 1300 (Gotham)
Explaining more about Peter's trauma/his past
Dick learning more about Peter, and vise versa
Wanted to have:
Ned being a more central character
Natasha :)
Loki being a little shit
Tony and Cap bickering
Peter talking to Nightwing again
The last name Grayson
Gymnastics!!
(This is the shortened list, because the chapters are so long)
When I looked at this list before writing my outline, I had to figure out how I could incorporate everything. If I needed more 1299 POV's, and I wanted Ned, Natasha, and Loki, there's one scene accounted for. I had to get their side of things and wanted that trio together. I needed a Tony POV, and I wanted Tony and Cap bickering, so those went together, plus I got 1299's POV of Ohnn and his plans explained.
I needed to have Peter explaining more about his trauma, and Dick and Peter to talk/get closer. I wanted a Nightwing POV, to have Peter say his last name, and them doing gymnastics. I knew Peter wouldn't willingly talk about that, so I had him have a nightmare. Not only did it give readers perspective but it made Peter more susceptible to talking to Nightwing because he was more emotionally vulnerable/lonely, and that's how that scene came together.
That's when I would write down the chronological order of these events by writing out "Scene Blocks." (This is what I wrote down but my handwriting was so bad I can't subject y'all to it):
scene 1- Ned talking to Loki. Natasha should be nearby and observing Loki's behavior. They are not on friendly terms. Ned is more worried about Peter than he is as to what Loki could be up to, so Natasha takes on that role.
scene 2- Tony is freaking out about Peter being in an alt dimension. He should attack Ohnn when he's not prepared for it. Beat his ass? Beat his ass. Cap there too.
scene 3- Peter's nightmare. "Ben, where do you go when you die?" "Where do you think?" "With you. Where you went."
scene 4- Nightwing and Peter.
Of course, things come to attention when writing. Like originally, Tony and Cap were arguing in the Tower. But it was a little too much like his and Natasha's argument, and I kept in mind that Tony is smart. Sometimes I forget that the characters are smarter than I am, so I have to account for what they would figure out. So Tony would have picked up the puzzle pieces and come to more conclusions than I originally thought about, and I figured he'd be way more proactive about it than just. Being in the Tower and waiting.
Which means that that scene ended up being as listed above: having a squabble with Cap, learning more about Peter's dynamic with the Avengers in this universe, and seeing how Tony is reacting to it by throwing himself head first into trying to capture Ohnn.
I'll realize I need something else to be mentioned or put in and I'll have to shimmy things around, but that's basically how it goes.
As for other forms of organization:
Keeping a timeline is so important because it tells you a lot about the environment your characters are in. It's also important to remember what a character has on them, what money they've spent, who they've met/who you have mentioned, every alias that is being used, to read your work and write down edits you want to make before you make them, to write down ideas beforehand of situations you can use, and, most importantly: MAKE A MAP!! This has saved me so many times. Sometimes your brain WILL trick you or make it harder on you to envision a scene. Make a map of where your characters are physically!! It will save you too!!
As for foreshadowing and plot points, I'll let you in on yet another secret:
Your subconscious is doing a lot more than you think it is.
Sometimes when I foreshadow something, I didn't even know I was until I got to it. I very often go back to read chapters that came before this to see what I've mentioned and what I haven't, and when I do, I'll see something and go "I have to bring this back" or "I almost forgot about that!"
Other times, I am very aware of what I'm foreshadowing, and that's because I follow a mystery plot formula. You have to keep in mind everyone's intentions, all the time. How are they feeling? What are their motivations? And: what are they doing right now, while this character is doing this?
Like Beck and Ohnn. From the very beginning, I knew I had to make sure that it was obvious Ohnn wasn't working alone. From there, I had to weave through the story and slowly build him up as someone who's working behind the scenes. Even from Ned's first POV, I made sure to mention that this person knows Tony and is tech savvy.
My biggest tip is to make sure you reread your work or at least skip through it, because sometimes you don't even know that you placed something there.
And sometimes, it's very purposeful. :)
I hope this helped! I really tried to keep it short but I am insane and the process is sooooo long. It sounds complicated but it really is simple when you're actually doing it I swear

And Your Name Is? (Sebek, Silver, Idia)
Synopsis- After successfully resolving whatever was causing NRC to be trapped in an endless time loop of overblotting and disaster, one last reset should give him a chance to experience a normal school year with you. But instead you find yourself trapped in the here and there, appearing as a vague shadow around the school that vanishes as soon as he catches up to you. The kind thing to do would be to allow you to be forgotten in the chance it lets you return to your world.
But this is Twisted Wonderland where the kind thing is seldom done, and he wants you back as much as you want to find him again.
notes: they/them pronouns used for Yuu, thanks to the lovely annon who requested this, they suggested Silver and Sebek in celebration of Book 7 Chapter 5 and I decided to add Idia because I expect he'll be doing something soon-ish. Please look to my masterlist for the other parts if you liked this.
Sebek
This is madness, it has to be. What other explanation could he have for these memories torturing him every time he finds himself alone. Lilia had reassured them they were real, even if Lord Malleus's memory was fuzzy and Silver's as unreliable as ever what he saw, what he felt, were all painfully real. There was a missing student from his first year class, an incompetent irrevocably out of place, magicless human who seemed determined to get into the worst situations possible. He can't decide who he is angrier at, the other students for forgetting you, you for once again getting yourself into a situation someone would need to rescue you from, or himself for... for... for...
He'd asked his mother once, angrily and painfully disrespectfully, why she would marry someone so weak. The perspective of time, looped or otherwise, made him realize he was really blaming her for the way his grandfather saw him. As if he could have somehow earned his total respect and love if he erased everything about his father from his being, as if the answer his mother ultimately gave him was a sin somehow.
"Because my love is not weak, true love never is. You can let it change you for the better, or you can let it make you worse. When you see the person you love you will know what they'll do, your soul becomes theirs in a way. Your strengths and weaknesses become shared."
Sebek thinks he must be letting love make him worse. He isn't loud when he approaches your silhouette, he makes no announcement, no demand you be grateful he is paying you attention despite your humanity. He just sits under the apple tree, and quietly into the the empty night air reads a novel. There's a vague memory he has of a much louder conversation you had here about the exact same book. The knight saves his love at the cost of his own life, and he had gone on at much louder length about how noble that was.
You though, you had hated it. "What's the point of living if the person you want to share your life with had to die for it?"
"Do you remember?" His voice is still woefully in line with a normal volume, and you are still just out of reach. "That is what you said, and I am sure I said something very stupid about knightly honor. I probably told you that a mere human would never understand, but whatever I might have meant you were right in the end. It's an empty world when your life is paid for with the life of someone you love." You flicker as if to disappear, but Sebek is faster, snapping up from his seat to grasp you in a death roll and tumbling down to the grass. Yes, love is absolutely making him worse, how else is he supposed to explain to anyone the sheer joy he feels to find you, heavy and warm in the flesh successfully pinned under him and trembling. He can atone for his improprieties later, the sheer worry you inflicted demands immediate penance. There is no running from your fate, not that the arms that encircle his shoulders and pull him further down seem at risk of fleeing anywhere. Sebek's eyes close in relief, allowing himself finally to release his weakness into the strength of your embrace.
Silver
He used to dream what it would be like to live without his curse. Granted Silver didn't have much of an imagination, most of those thoughts consisted of him doing simple things like training with his father or cooking without fear of hurting himself, not that those were bad things to want. Now though, he almost missed his lapses into sleep. He was certain, based off of what little Malleus and Lilia had been able to tell him about the here and there, that he could find you in his dreams. When he went to bed at night he knew he slept, knew he dreamed, but for some reason he just couldn't find you. There were traces, locations he remembers from past timelines, places he's sure must be a twisted echo from your world, all showing traces he could follow but never once showing him you.
It was enough to make him cry, he swears he's cried more in the past month than he has in how ever many years he's been alive. He knows it's scaring his father, he thinks it's scaring Sebek. Malleus is still under the impression there is a way to save you so he has yet to give into fear, but if the way he dismisses Silver, teasingly telling him to get some rest, is any reassurance he's worried about him too.
"I really hope you aren't missing because you think we don't care." He seldom speaks aloud to you outside of dreams, Silver isn't sure if you can hear him when he does. But there's a painful strength to his desire tonight, maybe fueled by the silhouette he saw flickering just beyond the Ramshackle Gate earlier in the evening. He knows Malleus told him to rest, but he finds himself walking back there "just in case" before he returns to his dorm. It's quiet here, inviting himself to close his eyes and begin tracing the steps he saw earlier. You were dancing, he tried to reach for your hand to give you the partner the waltz so clearly demanded but only found air. They're still only holding air when when he pauses, eyes blurring as he tries to examine a still tingling palm, confused to find tears pooling in its center as words continue to flow. "That's not to say if you do I don't understand. If I was in your place, I would feel lonely too. It has to be painful, feeling so alone when you are surrounded by so many people..." His eyes close. A gentle breeze picks up the autumn leaves and tickle his nose with a familiar scent as he chokes out an earnest plea: "Is it too much to ask for you to be lonely in my hands? I promise I'll hold on so tight you never float away again." A comforting weight settles itself onto his hand, his fingers thread through theirs and his other arm pulls them into his embrace through sheer muscle memory before his eyes even open.
"Why are you crying?" A voice he's been chasing after for hundreds of years now, cracked from a months worth of silence asks him so earnestly and sweetly the only response he can find is laughter.
"It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter!" His arm finds it's way under your legs to sweep you up into a protective cradle as he spins you around and around to reassure himself that this is not a dream, no matter the familiar gleam shining up at him from your eyes.
Idia
This is so not worth it. Idia is not built for this, this, this cliche bullshit plot line. He will not own up to his past self's decisions, he will stay resolute in nihilistic pride and continue to refer to himself as a looser NEET who has never gotten any in his entire life. And technically, as he has argued to Ortho for the past five hours now, that is still true.
"New timeline new me, I am not in love with a student who doesn't technically exist that was my much cooler alter ego." He says that, but Ortho knows that's not a video game's code he has pulled up on his monitor. And despite checking the school's security cams being his thing, his older brother has several open on his other monitor. They've been changing through this entire argument, clearly monitoring wherever you appear and logging it as data in a massive spreadsheet Ortho has maybe taken one or two looks at when he managed to convince Idia to take a nap.
"Um big brother, not to be rude-" Ortho really wants to be. Idia isn't the only one who loves you, just the only one insistent on denying his feelings. "but isn't it sort of... childish to deny yourself at this point? The prefect-"
"They can't be a prefect if they aren't in school." Idia snaps.
"Just Yuu then." Ortho chooses to take the weird cackle Idia lets out as a sign he is making progress with his code and not a sign of a mental break. Yet. "They never showed interest in anyone else, they always picked you. That's got to be enough data to prove that when you save them," because there really is no point in pretending Idia is trying to do anything else at this point, even he gave up denying that just fifteen minutes into this conversation "they won't abandon you for anyone else."
"That's what I'm afraid of." Idia doesn't think he meant to say that, the words sort of just fall out of his mind onto his lap. He risks a look at the security footage, your ghost seldom comes into Ignihyde. That had bothered him at first, angered him even. What, you'll tell him you love him, steal his first kiss every time you can, and watch all his favorite shows just to get him to talk to you more but then when you're trapped in a liminal space you won't bother knocking on his door? Did all those things you said you would do only apply to the good times?
Not that it changed what he was going to do, part of him saw saving you as a challenge but mostly it was just out of gratitude for saving Ortho. That would have earned you his help even without the whole "lovers doomed by the narrative" thing you had going on. But recently, the more he worked on saving you really, he had started to wonder if his self doubt was what was pushing you away. Idia hated how much magic could rely on something as unpredictable and unreliable as human emotion, but it did. And whatever was happening to you was absolutely magical, he had the data to prove it. Reluctantly, ignoring Ortho's protests despite the guilt that gnaws at him he leaves his room. The harsh nighttime light of Ignihyde's LED displays bounce off his skin as he shuffles himself through the empty dormitory, no real destination in mind. He couldn't bring himself to say it out loud in front of Ortho, he couldn't bring himself to say it in front of you either, if his spotty memory is serving him correctly. He finds himself stood in front of a vending machine in one of the school's hallways, two distorted shadows flickering with equal uncertainty in the glass.
"Hungry?" Idia doesn't know why he asks, but he knows why he puts enough money into the machine for two bags of chips. "I keep forgetting I'm just getting shit for myself now." You don't respond, but Idia isn't too surprised or upset. It has to be weird hearing him address you directly after he's spent so much time ignoring you. "Just because Ignihyde's meant to respect the King of the Underworld doesn't mean you'll get snatched away if you pay me a visit. You shouldn't be afraid of him, he isn't dangerous to you." But I am. He doesn't say that, but the words hang heavy in the air anyway. Your shadow tries to reach for the vending machine, but pause almost confused when Idia beats you to punch in the familiar number of your favorite drink.
I love you. He doesn't say it out loud, but the thunk of the can makes the point just the same Idia realizes when he brings the can up to a very confused, very familiar looking face. You are confused, and a bit scared when he drops the drink to tackle you but you hold onto him anyway.
I love you too. You don't say it either but the steady, comforting beat of your heart screams it just the same. I will find you in ever lifetime.

(My MC)Tia's kids with her WHB lovers
So, people on twitter were sharing their fan kids with their favs of WHB and since I already had three ready. I figured, why not finally design them.
Tia's kid with Glasyalabolas: Lobas, (since there wasn't a horn option with this picrew) his horns are pointed downwards and hidden within his hair.
Credit to @gr0tesquerom4ntica for the small details added to Lobas' design.
He was small when he was born, which actually concerned Glasya since he was worried that Lobas might take more after from his mom. However that all change when Lobas reached 13 yrs old. Where he grew rapidly as he aged. He acts like his father, however because he's half human, he's more subtle to taunting and teasing others.
Tia's twins with Ronove and Michael: Rev and Miracle, Born with the same mother but with different fathers. This all happened when Tia after having sex with Ronove, Michael came and took her, and he was aroused at the time cause of the two full moon, so he and Tia had sex. (Fiction logic) Which is the reason Tia conceive with twins.
Michael found out about the pregnancy, and when the twins was born, he sneaked into hell and took Miracle, he did want to kill Rev, but he decided not to cause he saw how Mir was holding her twin's hand while sleeping in their shared bed.
So, the twins were raised separated, but knows each other's existed.
Rev and Miracle inherited Tia's height. Rev is 5'3 and Mir is 5'2.
I'll add more once I could think of the babies later.

An essay about Barbara Gordon. Part two: Clowns and Catharsis.
Welcome back.
Part one, which was mainly about Oracle Year One.
This part will be discussing lasting effects of Barbara’s new role, and also about how certain writers handle catharsis.
@mrsbertinelli
@spoilerqlert
Following Oracle Year One, Barbara is reinvented as Oracle, who to give the basic rundown of her skills: is an information broker for the superhero community, helping out not just the bat-family, but the justice league, and even forming her own hero team in the Birds of Prey.

She even got a new arch enemy in the form of the Calculator (basically another hacker who was obsessed with learning who Oracle was) and acted as a mentor towards Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown later on.
But even though Barbara was settled in a new role, one that could only be filled by her, there’s always the enticing intrigue for writers and readers alike:
What about The Joker? What would happen if he showed back up? Would she freeze up? Fight? Would she obsess?
Depending on the writer, there’s been a few different ways:
Sometimes, she takes physical revenge, beating him up. (We know my feelings about Babs getting ‘cured’ and becoming Batgirl again, but that’s not the point)

Other times, she plays more of a psychological “I am not taking you seriously.” This typically gets under Joker's skin as a chronic attention-craver, not being taken with any threat or seriousness.

However, while I will never refuse either beating Joker up or making him look pathetic as a half drowned rat with green hair, one of the personal favourite ways comes in Joker: Last Laugh.
Basically, Joker learns he’s gotten a deadly illness and goes “Welp. Gotta cause as much havoc as possible via infecting folks with joker venom."
And in the Secret Files, basically the prelude, we learn something about Barbara.

Barbara, in her head, still possibly has a little bit of self blame. If she was more careful, that wouldn’t have happened. So in the Belfry, she’s set up cameras in so she can monitor and watch him while imprisoned.
“If he does something. I’ll know. I won’t be caught off guard again.”
And Barbara isn’t portrayed as a villain or as a hysterical and trembling victim who needs to stop, she’s portrayed with this sense of calm because this is logical to her.
Anyway, Joker breaks out, causes chaos, (turns out he's not actually dying the doctor's just told him in the hopes he might turn his life choices around) Nightwing beats the life out of him but Joker gets brought back to life by Batman because of the no kill rule.

And the story ends on Barbara, watching the screens and deciding to shut them off. Because The Joker thrives on attention, and even if he doesn’t know, he’s still in her head, still winning.
Still laughing. So Barbara shuts off the screens, depriving him of silent attention.
And the art tells that she’s conflicted. Maybe she’ll regret it, Joker could break out again. But she’s not going to let him make her feel powerless and obsessive again.
So, in summary: The Killing Joke viewed Barbara as a victim. An easy way to wring out some pain for Jim Gordon, Batman and the audience. The Batgirl special released afterwards from TKJ, while it did add some info, doesn’t change that Barbara was crippled just as a vehicle for angst.
Oracle Year One reinvented her, breathed new life into a character who could’ve been left as just “a victim in a chair” someone for the heroes to brood about how unfair it was.
And from that, Oracle became a major heroic powerhouse, an informant, a friend, a mentor, an inspiration.
Barbara hasn't always been written well, but the fact of it all is that someone looked at a disabled woman and went “No, this story isn’t going to end in a hospital bed.”
And, for all I have my complaints about later comics, that’s pretty cool.
Love you, Babs. Please come home.

Desert Duo Doodles! I am in way too many fandoms to count, including content creators and whatnot. It wasn’t until a doodle of some CCs that I realised how many were MCYTs. But I wanted to draw these two cause I liked how I drew Scar in the other original doodle and have drawn Grian a bunch but constantly changed the design. Now I have one that I like.
Under the cut are the individual drawings plus stickers that I forgot to add to the original but decided fuck it it’s done, plus some explanation about design choices and headcanons. (Does anyone even care about that?) Idk and idc, I’ll ramble anyways.
(you don’t have to read the stuff, I don’t really care, but you can if you want)
First off, this one was annoying since it was supposed to be a hug. I was too lazy to draw the Third/Sercet Life outfits, so they are in their default outfits with crowns representing the fact that they won at least one of the Life games.
Ramble: For Grian’s design, I wanted to keep the bird/avian hybrid but also reference other series or past friend. The Life series has the poppy has memorabilia, the blue and red bracelet represents YHS/TS, and the eye necklace is for Evo. The tail is more so a mix of Watcher magic and Avian DNA, bird feet cause why not. The wing ears are hidden to look similar enough to his regular hair, I like to imagine that wing ears are a rarer trait and to not draw too much attention, he would use Watcher magic to change the colour of the wing ears to match his hair. The freckles are based off of the idea that Angel Dust’s freckles are actually just eyes (which were shown in the show), and I liked that idea. He didn’t have freckles before Evo but after in Hermitcraft he did, they are just eyes that are always closed though he can see out of them. It’ll be clearer in the next piece, but his eyes are based off of some bird eyes so a black sclera with coloured pupils. Grian just hides his eyes under his hair since they are more sensitive than normal. Also I didn’t wanna draw his eyes cause it was one of the things I kept changing before.
I’ll go into Scar later since it’s just a half body but he goes by the same rule of his outfit showing where he’s been. So the poppy and lavender for Third Life and the heart necklace for Secret Life. The earrings are based off of the crystals from Season 7.
Alter Egos! Or at least Hot Guy and Arianna Griande. Not much here, but you can see what I meant with the eyes beforehand.
Also, I can’t be the only one to notice or at least point out that Ari and Cute Guy have like the same or a least a very similar colour palette of pink and white.
Final one, and the two are taking a much needed nap. This could take place anywhere though I like to imagine somewhere in Double Life or somewhere between Season 7 - 10
(also I find it very funny how close these two’s bases were for Season 6 - 10. both were near each other in the futuristic district of season six, then next door neighbours at the start of season seven, I don’t need to mention much besides boatem in season eight, again near the start and most of season nine with Scarland and Grian’s timejump build, then finally again in season ten with Magic Mountain. just funny to me for some reason)
Ramble: Scar is like a hybrid between an elf/fae creature and a cat centaur (that I cannot remember the proper name for). The cat half is based off of Jellie, RIP, and his body is scarred because well I mean the dude is accident-prone it’s bound to happen. I imagine that Scar would wear slightly baggy outfits, like they hang off just a bit to not hug his figure. His hair is more based off of Season 9 with him leaning into the whole elf aesthetic, and I both hate and like the hair but whatever. Idk, I kinda just wanted to make him centaur based cause that visual isn’t something I see often. I imagine that hind legs are weaker than the front so he would switch between a cane and a wheelchair that you would see for animals. I might draw that later idk, but yea
If you actually took the time to read this incoherent mess, idk comment a content creator you like, no matter how niche they may be

So......about Solomon
Before we get started: Discussions on this post are more than welcomed as long as you keep it civil and constructive. At the end of the day, this is still a game about fictional characters, so there's no reason to literally harass others over liking or disliking a character If it truly upsets you that much--which is valid btw--than the best thing to do would probably be to simply not engage with the other party, and not harass them over it; you won't change anyone's mind that way. I know most of you aren't like this but unfortunately it still needs to be said Also, if you want me to add sources to some points, feel free to ask! I've tried to mention the chapters as I go, but I might still have forgotten some. Some of the arguments I make are also hidden behind certain player options; if you can't find them, fell free to ask about them and I'll gladly tell you Also also, general spoiler warning for both the og game and Nightbringer. I'm not really covering anything specific after lesson 60 in the og game and lesson 14 in NB, but I might still mention things from later lessons
Now, onto the actual topic. There've been quite a few arguments against Solomon in the past few days, but I mostly just want to focus on those three:
Solomon wanted to force MC into killing Lucifer at the end of season 2 in the og game
Solomon betrayed the brothers and keeps hiding behind "wanting to protect humanity" as a scapegoat for his actions (putting these two together bc I think they go hand in hand, but it'll make more sense later)
Solomon tricked Asmodeus into a pact without his consent
This entire thing is very long, so feel free to jump around if one point interests you more than another
Solomon wanted to force MC into killing Lucifer at the end of season 2 in the og game
[mainly 38-12, og & 38-15, og]
He did, yeah. But here's the thing
They were all forced into a corner since the fate of all three realms was on the line here, and with the Ring of Light's whereabouts still being unknown at the time, they literally had no other choice if they wanted to save everyone. It wasn't Solomon that randomly decided the only way to restore the Night Dagger's power was by killing a powerful demon, it's always been that way. And he can't just be like "Oh well, let's switch strategies then and focus on finding the Ring of Light" when the entire cast (minus Simeon) has no idea where the ring is and the last time any of them saw it was centuries to millennia ago, if not longer. They don't have the time to search for it considering all the destruction MC's Ring has already caused in such a short period of time
Solomon first tells MC to do kill Luci, only to add that he was just joking and knows MC would never actually go through with it. Then, he says that if they wouldn't do it, he'd do it himself. Which kinda sounds like forcing, right? Except this happens [38-15, og; pic below]:
He was prepared to, which doesn't clear him of trying to indirectly force MC, let's get that straight. But ultimately he drops it and accepts that maybe their only option really is to just die here. This is also the only time we see him acting against his beliefs btw
Also yes, Solomon might not have been the one that decided they needed to kill a powerful demon, but he seems to be the one that settled on said demon being Lucifer. The only other viable options would most likely be Diavolo and Barbatos. Don't know if the Demon King in his vegetative state still counts but similar to Diavolo, killing him would probably be seen as a direct declaration of war, so they're out. And from a strategic standpoint, Barbatos is the better option to be kept alive simply because of his powers. There most likely also is some kind of sentimental attachment at play here since Solomon is much closer to Barbatos than he is to Lucifer. None of justifies killing Lucifer of course, but we also need to acknowledge that everyone's hands were tied, they were out of time and given the circumstances, this was probably the best decision they could have come to (until Simeon showed up with the Ring of Light, of course)
Solomon betrayed the brothers and keeps hiding behind "wanting to protect humanity" as a scapegoat for his actions
First of no, he did not betray them. Ever since the end of season 2 Solomon has made it clear that his ultimate goal is to protect humanity and that he, similarly to Diavolo in regards to the Devildom and its denizens*, would do anything in his power to protect the human world and its inhabitants [38-15, og; pic in the point above] [38-19, og; pic below]

*friendly reminder that Belphie was charged with treason for planning to destroy the human world, since in Diavolo's eyes that would have severely damaged the chance of peace between the three realms [13-14, og]
Solomon continuously sticks to his beliefs. He said he'd protect humanity, and that's what he's doing. He never extended that kind of protection to the brothers, he never made any false promises, he didn't betray them in any way, nothing
I'd also like to point out he's not actively going out of his way to antagonize demons, or angels, or whatever. In fact, he even explicitly says that he does not wish to make an enemy out of either party [10-A, NB; pic below], which of course also extends to the brothers

You can even outright ask him if he's planning on backstabbing the brothers, and this is what he has to say [11-8, NB; pic below]:

And you know what? That is a valid concern. They can't say for sure what the future holds, and they just recently had to deal with the entire Ring situation that could have very easily destroyed all three realms, so wanting to be cautious and to be prepared for the worst makes sense. He also makes it clear that he does not wish to fight the brothers if it can be avoided, so there's that
And no, he's also not tricking MC into siding against the brothers in Nightbringer. Rather, he just wants to know that they're fighting for humanity should the relationship between humans and demons in general ever turn hostile. He puts the cards open on the table and gives a proper explanation to his reasoning for siding with humanity [11-8, NB], and once again goes a little further into detail before MC gives their answer [14-16, NB; pic below]. Plus it's up to the player if they choose to stand with him or not, and no matter what you choose, he accepts the decision
Also keep in mind that season 3 heavily suggests that the human world at large has no idea that angels and demons even exist, so MC is pretty much the only one he can even ask to help protect humanity alongside him to begin with. He can't just go up to a random guy on the street and ask them to fight something who's existence they aren't even aware of in the first place
Imo Solomon also seems to know more about where things might be heading than he lets on, with him actually knowing Nightbringer and whatnot, so granting himself some peace of mind by making sure he has at least one ally is perfectly reasonable
Also, Solomon is very much aware that he is not infallible. For example, he states that he realized he still has a lot more to learn about demons [60-20, og], and he even admits that he doesn't always know what the right course of action to any given situation is, which was part of the reason he first asked MC to help him with protecting humanity all the way back in season 2 [38-19, og; first pic below]. In season 2 he actually wanted for MC to be aware of what's happening, but it was Diavolo that decided it would be better to keep them in the dark for the time being [36-18, og]. He trusts MC's judgment and that they will help him make the correct decisions [14-16, NB; second pic below]

Solomon tricked Asmodeus into a pact without his consent
Before I get into anything, let's summarize the base situation so everyone's on the same page. This is based on the things Asmo tells us [53-16, og], as well as the things Sol tells us [6-18, NB]:
Asmo was trying to flirt with someone but their friends kept on telling him to leave them alone since he's a demon -> Asmo's dejected by this and goes to a tavern in Solomon's hometown
Solomon notices and feels sorry for him; he offers to talk to him and they chat for a bit
Asmo lets it slip that he's Lucifer's younger brother
they get drunk and end up forming a pact -> Solomon says that he was only able to forge a pact with Asmo because his judgment was impaired at the time
Right of the bat--yes, the way Solomon got his pact with Asmo is not okay. I'm not putting that up for debate. He fully took advantage of Asmo here, and there's nothing that can excuse that. I also want to make it very clear that it is in no way my intention to relativize this in any way. The way he went about getting this pact is, to put it simply, fucked up and I do not wish to condone that in any way. With the following points I simply want to explain how I see things. Maybe it'll put things in a slightly different perspective for you, maybe it won't. Now, I hope I made that clear enough, so let's continue
The way I see it, Asmo seems to be pretty okay with the pact. From the way he acts around Solomon in the present day all the way to him describing his reaction to the pact as just a "did I really sign that" [53-16, og], nothing seems to suggest that he holds any ill feelings towards Solomon, and personally I don't see any reason to be angry for someone who himself seems to take no issue with a situation that is directly about him
If it were as upsetting to Asmodeus as some make it out to be, surely he would have found a way to get out of it? Asmo is one of the most powerful demons in the Devildom; if he truly wanted to break the pact he could have just killed Solomon and that's it. And if the pact itself somehow prevented him from doing so, I'm sure Lucifer would have more than gladly stepped in. Heck, I bet all of the brothers would have made it into a family thing in a heartbeat if Asmo wanted out but couldn't do anything himself. As Thirteen told MC, Solomon is immortal, not unkillable
But speaking of Lucifer, shouldn’t the same sentiment about forcing others into a pact be held toward him, too? Because he basically did the same thing with MC. This is what happens when you tell him you don’t want a pact with him [20-14, og; pic below]:

Yes, this comes down to player choice and yes, you need to make the pact for story continuity, but it ultimately does not change the fact that in-universe he forces MC into a pact if they say no
Also speaking of forcing others into a pact--Mammon and MC, anyone? Yes, MC did it because Levi asked them to so he could get his money back. We know they had no ill intentions. But you never know what the future holds and Levi literally proposed to basically hand over part of Mammon's agency over himself for the money Mammon owns him, to someone Levi has met about 5 minutes prior, knows nothing about and who's only been in the Devildom for a couple of hours at that point, no less. Lucifer also mentions that demons literally cannot resist temptation [4-10, og; pic below], so there literally was no way Mammon could have just noped out of that pact. We all know how badly he wants his credit card back, after all

To top it all of, we have MC's and Mammon's conversation in Nightbringer where Mammon explicitly says that he would only want to forge a pact with someone that is special to him [2-9, NB], and that he'd make sure to be their first pact [2-11, NB], yet he is forced into his pact with MC. A pact that ultimately turns out to be exactly what he wanted, but nonetheless he was stripped of the ability to say no when it was forged
And for the record, I'm not saying "oh, others did it too, so we shouldn't be so harsh on Solomon!!!" No! Forcing a demon into a pact isn't something that should be taken lightly. A pact literally means a demon hands a huge chunk of control of themself over to a human for as long as the pact exists. And on the other hand, for a human, making a pact with a demon usually means selling their soul. Neither party should EVER be forced into it. We of course don't know if MC actually sold their soul to Lucifer when they made their pact, but even if they didn't, Lucifer's "I won't belong to you. You will belong to me" speaks for itself
What I am trying to say here is that if you want to be mad at Solomon for forcing Asmo into a pact without Asmo's consent (which, again, is valid), you should also be mad at MC for forcing Mammon, and Lucifer for forcing MC into a pact
Anyway, back to Solomon now
Solomon actually admits that he used to treat demons like collectables--more or less, at least since he immediately follows the confession up with "just kidding" [14-14, NB]. Judging by what we've seen in the og game though, he seems to genuinely make an effort to better his relationship with the demons he has made a pact with, or at the very least with Asmo and Barbatos. I mean, the difference between Sol's relationship with Barbs in the og game vs in Nightbringer is night and day
In the present time, Asmo and Solomon are also super close. I literally cannot think of a single instance where they did not get along (though it might have happened like once or twice). You can literally pic any part in the og game to see their relationship play out, but some highlights include Solomon saying he got a huge oil painting of Asmodeus as his "permit" to summon Asmo across worlds [39-13, og] (which is not something you would allow someone you hate to do btw) and both of them mentioning that the two of them repeatedly hang out together in the human world [Proud Brothers, devilgram on Asmo's page, og], the hickey on Solomon's neck that's most likely Asmo's doing [Who Left the Hickey?, daily chat with Mammon, og]. Asmo (while drunk) is comfortable enough to tell Solomon that his cooking sucks and Solomon actually takes it to heart [47-16 hard mode, og]. Then there's Asmo's excitement at Solomon being in the Devildom for the first time [Proud Brothers, devilgram on Asmo's page, og; both of the pics below]

There's also that infamous chat pic of them doing face masks together (that I unfortunately don't know which chat it belongs to, so if someone could tell me, I'd appreciate it <3)

I don't know about you guys, but that's not typically an activity I do with someone I despise
So it's clear that current day Asmo holds no malice toward Solomon
Which, finally, leaves us with the way they forged their pact in Nightbringer
[mainly 7-12, NB & 7-15, NB]
@impish-ivy already went over it in this post, especially in the tags (I highly suggest checking out the reblogs as well btw), but to reiterate--Asmo was IN NO WAY forced into that pact. His brothers tried to talk him out of it, but at the end of the day Asmo willingly agreed to it. Yes, they were in a dangerous situation, and yes, Solomon used that as a basis to ask for the pact, but as ivy correctly points out in the tags, Lucifer could have easily handled the situation by himself, yet Asmo agreed regardless. By implying that Asmo was in any way, shape or form forced into that pact you're not only taking away a huge amount of his agency, but you also deny him his character moment and development that came with this scene. Asmo himself says that forging this pact will finally help him accept himself as a demon. Taking this moment from him is doing him a huge disservice
Aaaand that's pretty much all I have to say
If there's anything else you'd like to add, OR if there's anything you don't agree with, feel free to share! And once again, I'd like to remind everyone that civil and constructive discussions are more than welcomed on here!
Anyway, thank you all for reading, hope you have a great day! <3

CSM 167: Yo, What the Fuck?
So, that chapter, huh?
To just get it out of the way, Yoru gave Denji a handjob and he came on her hand, and despite how crude that sounds I find this whole chapter fascinating. Normally I like to think these kinds of posts out but right now my mind is racing trying to organize everything, so I'm going write whatever pops into my mind.
So first thing, there's the issue of consent, and I'll start with Asa, because she didn't show up until the very end, but we have to remember that Asa has shown the ability to push Yoru out of the driver's seat in moments where she is particularly having strong emotions, and someone using your hand to jack someone off would get some kind of strong emotion out of her. Yoru seems to act as Asa's unfiltered, unrestrained thoughts and desires, the version of Asa that acts without the worry of what other people think or say about her, so that means if Yoru was allowed to do this, then that means on some subconscious level that Asa was okay with this happening. I'm certain she'll scream and yell about it later, but that won't change the fact she let this happen. Then there's Denji, who at this point I think we'll just have to accept that even if all parties involved give consent I doubt he'll ever have a really "normal" sexual experience, and the fact that Yoru seemed to be getting into this along with him, instead of her just using it to manipulate him like literally every other girl he's been with unironically maybe puts it at the top of the list for him.
Which brings me to Yoru! back when the had the apartment date, she kissed Denji and when she pulled away she was blushing, she felt something for him at that moment, and as we saw here the returning memory of that date had her act on that feeling again. We know that Asa's emotions leak into Yoru, and considering Asa's own feelings on Denji that means that to some extent Yoru feels them too, but unlike Asa, Yoru has no inhibitions to stop her from acting on her desires.
EDIT: I decided to add another bit on Yoru
The thing I'm most interested in seeing is how this will affect Yoru's relationship with her own powers. Her weapons are powered up by the guilt associated in making them, but between having no real moral compass and not ever becoming emotionally attached to anything she's never had any sense of guilt, meaning she can't make the most of her own powers. What will happen if she tries to make weapon out of Denji? She's feeling attracted to him, she knows she likes him, meaning she'll get a strong weapon out of him, but what if she goes for it and she can't do it because guilt is such a foreign concept for her despite how important it is to her skill set and having to actually confront her own guilt terrifies her?
Overall, this chapter left me with two major thoughts on what I think/want to happen.
The first being is that this is what causes Denji to snap, that he'll have some post-nut clarity and call Asa out on how she's been acting, because from his point of view she's been an unstable, schizophrenic psychopath this whole day. Denji asks her about her arm, she kicks him in the balls, she says she wants to help him, but she threatens to fight him, she tries to castrate him, and she gives him a hand job and makes out with him! What is he supposed to reasonably think about her in this situation when she's just been nothing but an inconsistent mess? I want them to start getting mad and start yelling, with Asa arguing with both him and Yoru which only makes her look more insane to him. I really feel like if they get angry, then Denji can actually start beginning to take some control of his life back instead of letting everyone push him around, and Asa will be forced to confront her flaws and mistakes, that she can only be in denial for so long while Denji is screaming in her face about it. It would be ugly and messy, but I think it might actually be good for them in the end.
Also, I'm not entirely joking when I say if those two(three?) end up having intense hate sex in that alleyway in the rain, then I think it would be insane in the best kind of ways.
And second, I think it would be unhinged is Asaden was a red herring, and Yoruden was the real end game pairing. It might legit be the start to Asa's villain origin story. She goes out and does all these things just so Denji can feel strong affections for her, to give her something to latch her self-worth and the attempts to validate her life, oly for Denji to fall in love with Yoru instead. It would be both hilarious and tragic.
Another thing! Up until this point I thought Denji and Asa's relationship would be a tragedy or What Ifs and Could Have Beens, but instead I want them to be unhinged as possible, spiraling down while they blaze the candle at both ends. Just let their relationship become everyone's problem from now on.
Overall, the last few months have left me nervous and apprehensive about what each new chapter of Chainsaw Man will bring, but as of this chapter I find myself more excited than ever because I feel like this might end up taking the story is some insane places.
ONE MORE EDIT: I wrote a one-shot regarding my interpretation of this mess: Back Alley Screaming Match.

SIFSTEM PLAYLIST
I got a few suggestions from people, and I have explinations for a lot of the music too BECASUE IM A HUGE MUSIC NERD!!! Below the cut!!
ALSO I'm gonna add more songs over time and will probably update this. Lol. I'm ALWAYS taking suggestions for it! I like music!!!
PLAYLIST ORDER
Each section for the Sifstem members is designated by an ISAT origonal song, and in each section is song for that member! There's two exceptions which I'll go over real quick!
Your fault/Last Midnight - First song on the playlist, it's about basicly all the members. It's about a bunch of characters arguing about who's fault it is that everything's gone to shit before blaming it on the witch. And then in Last Midnight the witch goes off on them about it doesn't matter who's to blame, they have to deal with it.
It takes two - Last song on the playlist. Also from Into the Woods, this, by contrast, is about how people change and work together well.
Also some songs I choose off lyrics, others off of just vibes.
NOW FOR THE SECTIONS
Siffrin
Final room (act 5/6) - If there was a good Siffrin theme from ISAT, I think this is it. I like it.
Russian Doll - "Why should I try again?" This was a song reccomended to me a while ago actually, it fits.
Touch - ok this one's a bit mean but, listen, he is so touch starved. This song fits. "Touch, I remember touch, feelings came with touch."
No dogs on the moon! - vibe song! Silly fella song!
Bohemian Rhapsody - one of my favorite songs of all time ever. There's too much to type out, tbh.
Loop
How can you help me, Stardust? - do I even need to say anything?
Absolutely cuckoo - listen to the lyrics. "You might decide I'm a nut \ Give me a week or two to \ go absolutly cuckoo \ then when you see your error \ you can flee in terror" LIKE COME ON
The Future - "I'm worried about the future, ain't fucking with that past shit." Loop is really trying to move on. How could they? They're stuck in their betters shadow, their mind.
A humans touch - this one was by @\jackoboltrades! Very fitting for Loop who still feels they don't deserve love, or that they're just a star, not human, not real.
Rage Awakened - based purely on the loop fight. It's a vibe song but I love this song. Also Lingering Will (the character this theme is for) does have some similarities to Loop, being echoes of the past defeats and wishes.
Haunted - being haunted by past mistakes or just the past in general. Though it has some romantic undertones that I can take or leave
Mal Du Pays
Mal Du Pays - AGAIN do I need to explain anything
Mr. FEAR - "Hello, my name is mr. fear." considering how Mal Du Pays is introduced and how it interacts with Siffrin, well, that line alone makes it an MDP song.
Dark Impetus - Vibe song! Mysterious figure cloaked in dark, too. Lol.
Ghosts - "Maybe the past aint what it cracked up to be \ Maybe I'll find a way to just move on \ Maybe we're all ghosts cause I cant feel the ground \ And all these shades they dont make a sound \ I think there is a God \ I think he hates his job" Do I need to say anything.
Stained, Brutal Calamity - Recomended by a friend! Both vibes but also the lyrics that come later have a MDP vibe. I like it.
Burn My Dread (last battle) - "Tear up your fear \ the end is coming near" Honestly Persona 3 has a vibe that could fit MDP quite well.
Null
I WON'T LET YOU GO HOME - Act 5 Siffrin, someone who's both repressing their own feelings to their family but also doesn't want to let them go, to the point of hurting everyone. Nuff said.
Panoramic Feeling - this and the other Katana Zero songs are here cause, well, Zero fictive, plus has the vibe.
All for now - same song used to fight Ramos. It was this or Full Confession, and this fits more for it's desperate or crazed vibe.
L'impeto Oscuro - This is actually a retrain of Dark Impetus, it's the them of a time traveler who can stop time (Kingdom hearts lore dont worry about it.) This specific mix also included the music for when time is stopped during the fight. It's ruthless, endless.
I'm my own master now - Very heavy and hard and strong and powerful, also! The Lyrics! "Bear the mark of my scars \ Shedding blood underneath the stars"
Labyrinth - Being lost in an endless labarynth of their own mind. Very much like act 5 Siffrin, like Null. Plus, Null is not exactly mentally stable.
Rain on brick - Katana Zero song, it's the menue theme. It's just. . . Vibes.

A long Side tangent for the WIZ!Spidey x DCU AU
A longish post on what I think happened to the other dimension travelers. This is gonna be semi canon with the other heros! Timeline I sometimes mention. This means some of what I say is canon, some might be subject to change, while others I have decided to write total bs for.
And YK what the best part is? You get to figure out which one is which :D
Since this is gonna be focusing on a lot of other characters that aren't Peter, this is gonna be a bit longer so the characters can get at least one paragraph to them.
This is mostly gonna be off the top of my head since I only know what happens to Loki, T'challa and Bruce. The others I'm gonna figure out as we go, so we are doing this together
Anyways- let's start.
-Ok so lets break this into sections
Main canon: the one every post is talking about unless I say otherwise. Yk, the main au
Other Heros: the au where I add characters that didn't show up in the show, but canonically they do exist in the main MCU timeline so theoretically they could also survive. Yk, the Daredevil au I wrote a bit about where everyone dies, this is if they live
Absolut BS: Is there gonna be bs in the other sections? Yes. Is there gonna be anything serious in this one? Absolutely not. This is for those sweet non canon MCU characters. I try to stick to canon as much as possible, but sometimes I get an idea so good I wanna add it, but refuses cause I gotta lay in the bed I made for myself (it's fine lol). This is for stuff we know aren't canon or are very heavily implied not to be in the MCU. Yk, for funsies, (and cause team red is missing its degenerate, yes Im weak Im sorry! Deadpool you still aint canon to this until your movie comes out! You too Logan!)
With those out of the way, lets start of with the
Main Canon
-So, starting off simple are the people on the ship. T'achalla in my opinion, looking at the movies, is weaker than Peter. And since Peter dies in most of his crashes if there is no interference, the answer is clear to see. After all, the black guy always dies first :^
...MOVING ON-
No, uhh, to not just leave it like that cause, yes, it's sad- I like to think that if he dies then his ancestors and powers let him transcend a bit to the point of minor godhood. Meaning that if there were ever a godly meeting the avatars had to attend to, Peter would be in for a big surprise
-Scott, wtf happened to you bro-
He survives due to the fact he had the cloak of levitation, he has no clue what happened and due to his lower weight, gets blown away by the wind, never to be seen again. So sad
...anyways he ended up in a box-
No clue how he got there. He just knows that one minute he was disoriented as hell in the sky, the next he's stuck in some crate in some magic labyrinth with no hope of rescue. Long story short, he's stuck there for many, many months.
Scott: How Am I Still Alive!?
-Bruce is the Hulk when he gets chucked into the DCU, he's also at an old abandoned military base...why are there people here?
Ya so, apparently the abandoned base he was Hulking out at against a bunch of Zombies, wasn't so abandoned in the DCU. In Fact it's one of, if not the most top secret base there is in the U.S military. So imagine with me, this X foot tall green beast appears out of nowhere and is in some sort of rampage at this super secure military base. You're welcome, I just put Bruce on the Villains list. I can see a few JL members or maybe some YJ kids showing up and dealing with him. And since we know that Hulk is sentient enough to make friends and enemies, Hulk is sent to some top of the line prison while Bruce is unconscious in the back seat. The JL try to interrogate him, but they only get vage half formed sentences about being weak (not a good look) people (Valkyrie, his best bro, is very much missed) and a mission (protect spider...Batman filed that one away for later)
-Bucky...Ha! No
I've proven to myself that I like his character enough to make him important to Peter's Character and the Plot (since when is there plot-) so Ima save him for another post.
-Thor (+Rocket and Groot)
These 3 didn't get split up, Surprisingly. They end up traveling through Africa (yes, the whole thing) trying to find their way back. Thor in his depressive state, keeps fighting and trying to find a way to his brother, since he could tell that whatever happened to them, it happened because of Loki.
Rocket and Groot are just there, since they're aliens who have never been to Earth before, they are just treating it like that. Though they do know something happened and they aren't really in the same place as before, they aren't struggling as much as the Earth natives. Thor is also having an easier time, but he keeps forgetting he isn't well known here. It's actually a bit refreshing.
Think of it like a road trip DnD adventure as they travel through Africa then Europe then Asia, trying to find his brother but having no clue where to go. Saving people and gaining a sort of reputation as “That nice aussie that saves people'' alongside “The raccoon and Groot” (Everyone loves Groot)
Rocket Is a good dad and is just there protecting Groot and scamming people. And Groot discovers the internet. They continue to save people because that's what they did with their family, so they will continue to do that even if they can tell it's just the two of them again.
-Loki, my God…you sneaky shit-
When I tell you, Loki dropped in the middle of a league meeting. Im telling you, he dropped in the MIDDLE OF A LEAGUE MEETING! JL Light, JL Dark, YJ, the Titans, literally everyone was there! Why? 1. The league has a yearly meeting where they try to get every superhero team and hero esc people in the room so they can touch base. 2. Loki's magic…scared the hell out of them. The meeting was really soon and all of a sudden they get a really strong magic signature tearing reality apart? Yeah, they are gonna move the meeting up by a week to see what the heck is going on. Only for this British fuck to drop onto the table just ozzing out the energy they where Looking for. Yeah, you can bet all hell broke loose.
Loki gets locked in a cell on the tower as they try to figure out who he is, but they have absolutely no experience with his realitys magic so they can't get anything off of him. Some of the more godly inclined (Captain Marvel) can tell that he's a god from another universe, but comes to the conclusion that it's best to just let things play out.
Loki:...
CM:...
Loki: you’re quite the interesting child
CM: nOPE! You’re on your own. Good luck with that.
The hero's try interrogating him, trying to find out what he wants, and Loki is just like “nuh uh” and is just enjoying his time in his cell like the chaos god he is. Obviously he's playing all of them and getting info off of every single one of them, figuring out slowly where the other people could be and sending Peter to investigate the leads. Could he escape? Absolutely, he has walked to the kitchen more times than he cares to mention. Will he leave? No, he is in the most strategically useful place at the moment so he will stay there screwing with Batman until the League get bored of interrogating him. There are moments where they think he means no harm, and while that is true, it also means they might kick him from the tower, and he can't have that. Besides, scaring the Flash in front of everyone to keep his danger status is just so much fun.
And that everyone that should be in the Main Canon, onto
Canon Divergents: Other Heros.
Ok, so I like to think, personally, that everyone on this list died a horrible gruesome death before the episode started. But I can tell that some people like to keep them alive, and what is this if not just us having fun right? So this is a little “what if '' of the “what if ''. I don't know why they weren't in the episode, maybe they left, maybe they thought they were dead, maybe they were on another mission, who knows, you choose. But like I said, this is for fun so I’ll let you lil’ brains figure it out.
Lets start of with
-Kamala Khan. Ok so with this, Ima play with the timeline again. We never get confirmation if she blipped or not, but I don't think so(correct me if I'm wrong). So looking at her age I’d say she's around 16? In the year 2024 (holy shit thats this year-) so in 2018 when the blip/ the episode happened she would have been 10-11
You see my vision? Little 10 year old Kamala was possibly one of the youngest kids of the group, so her getting chucked into the DCU can only land her in one place. Foster care. You can make the argument that months of zombies made her jaded and able to survive the apocalypse and thus the streets considering I gave her the bangles. But I honestly think she was found right away and protected by everyone because of her age no matter the fact she has the bangle. She’s so small, it doesn't even fit her right. I think she's still a sweet, excitable little girl that is traumatized, but spent most of her time at the base being protected and cheering the others up.
So, her being this excitable and happy gets placed into many foster homes. But she also has trauma and issues so the family realizing she's not an “easy” kid sends her back, moving her around a lot. I can totally see Peter actually finding her but the only thing keeping him from getting to her is the constant address changes and his lack of funds.
-Darcy Lewis is truly in her 2 broke girls era as she takes the Identity of “Max” and starts working at a shitty Cafe.
-Moon Knight system
Remember how I said that only Jake was present for the Zombie Apocalypse? Well-
M: 8 MONTHS!?
S: Where are we!
M: 8 months!
S: What happened?
M: 8. Months.
S: Why weren't we here! Wait as second we- who are you 2?!
M: 8. Months…
S: Ahhhhhhhhh
J: *end me now* ( o_o)
Ya so instead of them trying to find the others, the 3 of them are actually trying to learn how to live with each other. The multiple Identities and accents are throwing Peter off
-Barton children
Ok Ima rapid fire this
Lila: somehow ends up with the arrows and being her fathers daughter, shows them up. Artimist likes her a lot
Cooper: He ends up in (you decide) city, and being his mothers son, starts doing some spy shit trying to find the others.
Nathen: lil’ baby somehow showed up at the Kents farm instead of his, and they sort of just …*adopt*. He's good friends with Jon.
Bonus points: Pizza dog is found as a Puppy by the kid and adopted as “emotional support” and “I must protect this poor dog, he doesn't have an eye for pete's sake!”
(These can not all happen, you gotta pick one kid for your hc cause I refuse to let all of the kids live no matter the au. The angst potential is the best part people)
-Last but not least Matt
He was found by a Church, the church sent him to the hospital, the hospital called him insane and sent by a psych ward, the psych ward said nope and sent him to arkham. He's pissed about it but like the reasonable guy he is, understands. Lots of the guys in there call him a “wanna be batman”.
He has no clue who that is but he is deeply offended.
I can totally see Peter finding him within a few days of looking and just going to visit him under the guise that he's his son.
Peter:...
Matt: …
Peter: *glare*
Matt: soooo, how have you been?
Peter: I Thought You Were Dead!
Peter cant get Matt out cause Matt keeps beating the other rouges up. Peter is so done with his shit and Matt regrets nothing. That 2 face piece of shit had it coming.
Bonus point for the Batfam finding out Peter’s “Father” is in arkham. Just Bruce and Matt having the most awkward silent meeting. Neither talk for like 15 minutes at first. It's glorious.
+Miles morales. Oh you thought I was done? Tf I am! He's canon to the MCU so I’m rolling with it. Timeline wise, I’d say he's about 6-8 years old give or take. He can either A: get the spider powers and survives just like Peter until they find him, and Peter taking him under his wing, or B: im being the only person Peter could save because…idk, maybe he was having a confrontation with Aaron at his apartment and it turns out Miles was there cause he wanted to go trick or treating with him and is wearing a spiderman custom, awww, and kinda awkward for the two (mostly Aaron). Zombies come in, and Aaron sends Miles with Peter because yk, good Uncle. Yeah that works-
Miles' face is planted right in the center of brooklyn and like the good boy he is, waits for someone he knows to find him, (if lost, wait at the spot you are until they find you). He tells people his guardian is Peter Parker, but since Peter is going under a different allies, they can't find him. But Miles is determined and decides that he needs to stay In Queens so that Peter can find him, he knows he will.
And that wraps up that part which leads us to
Total Bull Shit
Yep, this is for those sweet non MCU canon characters. (No other fandom ones though, I haven't fallen that far from grace) (with this au at leasts)
These are just for the sillies and won't be canon unless they somehow become canon to the MCU (*stares intensely at Deadpool and Wolverine* sooooon)
-Wade Wilson
We all have seen the trailers ok, I see him, he's coming, we have all waited for this. And not only is he coming to the MCU but his reasoning works really well with this fic. He's crossing dimensions to fix the timeline and shit and he somehow gets chucked into this storyline as he's doing it. With his awesome fourth wall breaks, I can just see him showing up in Gotham for a bit, causing shit, and breaking Matt out of Arkham because he wants to do the Team Red thing. I can totally see him being super excited about meeting his first spidey lol. And Peter and Matt are just in a constant state of “wtf” as they deal with this guy that is apparently from the same multiverse and Universe(?) as them. Also, apparently it shouldn't even be possible for them to be in this universe, so that's fun
They warm up to each other and end up having a bit of fun I swear. He wont stay for long cause I can see this as being like a quick side plot in both the AU and the movie as he tries to get back to whatever he's doing.
-Logan. He's there for like a Minute, he gets there trying to get wade back to whatever they are doing, and ends up getting stuck too. Peter and Matt help them get back to whatever they were doing and when they offer a way back to their home, they say no for a number of reasons. Logan still ends up giving them a dimension hopping thing just in case.
-Andrew!Spidey from the main timeline NWH. Techincally hes canon, but hes also kinda owned by Sony so ima let this slide. Hes there for like just a minunte ok- he gets pulled into Deadpools And Wolverings Shit and decides “Fuck it, we ball” and helps the out. He sees little WIZ!Peter and thinks, “Holy shit, I just saw you!” and tells Peter about the weird shit he just went through with the other version of him and Peter is just amazed. Like “wow, a world where my friends are alive, a world where no Zombies came and destroyed the lives of the people I love. A world where I got to have more time with aunt May….must be nice”
Sorry-
Also- *has flashbacks to Andrew Garfield and Ryan Renolds kissing and the canonical list of people Deadpool is allowed to cheat with. ( o_o)
DP: heya hot stuff
A!S: No.
DP: yes
Wiz!P: Wtf is happening
DD: Look away kid
*Deadpool and Spidey comic dynamic of full display*
-Harry Osborn.
Peter: Hey Harry, who are those guys?
Harry: idk, my dad is working with these biochemists for a company from Russia. I think the name was some Greek monster? I don't really care.
Peter: Oh ok, I'm gonna say hi to them
Harry: Sure, but be mindful of the creatures they’re working on
Peter: Got it!
Boom there’s your origin story. Peter just wanted to say hi to the nice looking Hydra agent and Harry let him.
Could we have him be hobgoblin alongside Peter when they are in gotham? Sure. Have it be like a nice spider that does no harm and his mean goblin bodyguard. Except it's the spider who can truly kick your ass. Also, just the absolut drama these 2 can have with each other is just *chefs kiss*
-Gwen Stacy
Just- just Gwen dude. Maybe she's from the DCU and they have a meet cute at a coffee shop. Maybe Peter Meets this super cute girl hiding out in a lab in the middle of the apocalypse. Maybe she's dead. Idk, idc, I love Gwen’s and Peter’s dynamic in TASM movies and I can see a traumatized dark humor version with these 2. Just give Peter his Girlfriend pls
-Johnny Storm is one of Peter's best superhero friends in the comics. Spidey's first appearance is also in a FF comic, so it just feels right. Just integrate that into the story and you're golden. I can see them having inside jokes and stuff no one will ever get cause “you had to be there”.
-Nova, because I'm pulling from my experience with the 2012 show. No, I bring him in because I think it could add not only to Peter's character but also rockets and groots, considering they just heard the Xandar was destroyed, and all of a sudden they find this kid with an old bucket. They’re gonna get some feels, small as they might be.
Also, the ultimate 2012 team may have treated Peter like shite, but with better writing and stuff, these 2 could have been good friends. Sadly that doesn't really translate that well in the show imo.
Uhhhhh, anyone else for this monster of a post? No. Ok cool-
Idk when I'm gonna post the next part of the main lore stuff, but I'm gonna post this and some DC p.o.v's to flesh out some stuff. I might also post a bit of art and another fic in between the posts.
This is too long- have fun with this while I go pass out for a bit lol
#peter parker#crossover#dcu#mcu#zombie au#au#im not tagging everyone#i dont hate myself that much#wiz!au#mcu x dc#what if#Im gonna figuer out the rest of the tags later#enjoy this word vomit ig#long post

Random head cannon I made for Dally
So, when he was 10 he was jailed, he knew the gang previously (Minus Pony bc I don't think he was born yet) and Ponyboy's parents were alive and all that, so like after Dally was jailed, about a year after he decided to join the army, so he told everyone that he was going to join the army, when he did he stayed in the army for around 2-3 years, before quitting, when he came back he re-met with everyone, but he was only nice to Johnny because of something that happened while he was in the army to where he lost 90% of his memories (Basically they're just blurred) and the only ones he truly remembers are the memories with Johnny, and the reason why he's so cold and shit isn't because he was jailed, it's because of him going to the army and losing his memories, he also eventually does get his memories back, and he slightly goes back to how he was before joining the army
That's basically how I think he got his Dog tag, and how he got so cold and tough
(Edit: The change was in the title from 'Lore' to 'Head cannon' I realized my mistake cause a friend pointed it out, sorry bout' that)
(Might add on later)

Tumult: a DID Graphic Novel review

Title: Tumult
Author: John Harris Dunning(writing) and Michael Kennedy(art)
Date of publication: 2018
Fiction or Nonfiction: Fiction
Was there a diagnosis of DID? The character with DID is diagnosed with DID, but the actual process isn't shown
Was the person with DID presented as evil for having DID? Until the very end, yes it's implied that the person with DID is capable of murder
Major trigger warning list:
Cheating
Alcoholism
smoking
Implied drug use
Nonexplicit sexual intercourse (Nothing nonconsenting)
Government-funded organized abuse (MK Ultra and the like? A UK versionnn of it? Sorry I don't know much about this)
Being locked in a dark room as a form of abuse/mind control
Gun violence(nonexplicit)
Stabbing
blood
A dog(alter) attacking (but with angry dog imagery thats pretty creepy)
Evil alter trope
Subjective Review(this is how I felt about it)
Personal triggering scale from 1 to 10 (1 being not triggering at all, 10 being a badly overwhelming experience that might cause personal harm): 3ish?
Personal relatability scale from 1 to 10 (1 being unrelatable, 10 being OMG THAT’S ME!): 2
Personal avoidance scale from 1 to 10(1 being eager to get on with it, 10 being impossible to finish): 6
My interpretation of the media(Includes spoilers):
Hmmmm What do I saw about this
To begin with, the book starts with the main character (Adam, not the one with DID) going into a dissociative episode it seems when he jumps off a cliff into the ocean and injured his leg. It's not entirely clear whether this is something he's gone into before, but he entirely upends his perfectly-normal life with his partner by cheating on her with a woman who stuck around him while he was healing.
Later, he's moved out, he's become an alcoholic and feels so much nothing that he essentially gives up on his job. He's ruined his own life, basically. His best friend points this out that he needs to make a change. (There's plenty of exposition that honestly just bulked up the story and didn't add much, it feels like filling in for context in a memoir, except the context leads to nooothing)
In attempt to socialize, he goes to a friend's party and sleeps with a woman there who's name is Morgan.
Adam considered it an unforgettable night, so when he sees a woman on the street who looks exactly like her, he ends up following her and insisting that she is Morgan, despite multiple denials to his claim. Finally she takes the bait because he's a slightly better option than being harassed in the street by another man trying to convince her she's in danger.
This womans name is Leila. Adam convinces her that he's certain that she's the woman he slept with, and leaves her with his card for contact.
Adam later gets a call from seemingly a little girl, with enough of an inflection in her voice that she sounds very familiar. They meet up in the park, and she introduces herself as Pretty Princess, who's concerned about what's happening around Leila. She tells him that she needs him to look out for her. Adam is perfectly fine with this offer, with a nice little..
"This craziness didn't put me off. If anything, it drew me closer."
Exposition, exposition, Adam quits his job because he's decided to become a thriller movie hero like in Die Hard, putting his energy into Figuring Leila Out.
Adam and Leila meet up again and hit it off better this time. They fuck. We get this lovely description...
"then we were in Leila's bed, and she was shape-shifting. She was girlish, manly, bestial. It was like fucking a barnyard"
Adam hangs around and snoops around her apartment because he woke up without her. He Just has no sense of boundaries almost, bent towards unravelling her mysteries.
Leila meets up with him and starts to explain her DID, only for Adam to intersect and say that he's already met Pretty Princess. He says he doesn't understand but he wants to. Leila, distressed, tells him she's been experiencing blackouts, and it brings out Pretty Princess once again. She tells him that they can no longer be near him now that he knows.
Adam and his friend talk, and they get talking about girls and equating how they see relationships to more thriller moviesssss and thennnnn
A guy shows up, his name is Dave. He was the first one to harass Leila in the street, telling her she's in danger. It turns out she really IS in danger, she was victim to a government-funded mind control program, in which they trained her to be the perfect killer. There just happens to be murders happening left and right, and at the center of it all is Leila's system and a sense of unease. Is she the killer? Is she next on the list? We the readers are left unsure.
As Leila goes to seek help from an old friend who was part of the organization, she finds out that he had suddenly died.
She has no one to turn to, so she turns back to Adam for support.
In a flashback we find out that her mother would lock her in a dark closet for hours at a time as a form of punishment.
In the present, as Adam and Leila are walking, they get mugged. It brings out her biting dog alter in self defense.
In the next scene, we see that the head of the organization apparently had some weirddddd views on religion? that might've influenced how heee wenttt abouttt things, but again, it's never really brought up, only implied. Pretty Princess shows up and tells him she is probably intending to kill him, and he doesn't deny any of her claims about the organization, that they were indeed trying to make the perfect killer.
Except something mysterious.. Happened?
Anyway, they got the confirmation that the conspiracy theories were confirmed and all the 'random' killings are linked.
Insert a scene where we find out that Leila is some sort of escort, and it triggers out another one of her alters, a sultan who threatens to castrate the clientele. At least her coworker seems understanding. (I've heard from my dancer sibling that most fellow sex workers understand dissociation to some degree tbf)
Leila meets up with the program director, who seems genuinely remorseful for what he's done to her. He reveals that he doesn't believe Morgan is capable of the killing that everyone's thinking she is, that he only got into the program because he wanted to study DID
Some stuff, Leila gets kidnapped and it brings out the Grave Digger alter. the person asks a lot about their DID, more than any stranger would know, and they answer honestly. We never really know who kidnapped the system, but we know someone else who was involved in the program is killed directly after.
Leila wakes up, gets a call, and switches with Morgan, who we haven't seen since the night she slept with Adam.
We learn that Morgan was specifically trained to kill, in turn for learning how to control her DID(?). It's revealed that Morgan's never killed anyone while in their training, and implied that she never has since. They have sex and the system disappears from Adam's life.
But hes in too deep and can't take a hint, so Adam stalks theeee doctor from before I think, the one who begged for forgiveness? waiting for his inevitable demise.
It turns out he's been doing the killings so he can sell her as a weapon, and using Morgan as a scapegoat for his crimes by triggering her out every time there's a murder taking place so Leila's system has no choice but to suspect themselves.
Ssssomething happened, since the system was getting locked in the dark as a means of triggering and controlling them, everyone ended up seeeinggg aaaa masss vision? Of some goddess that came to comfort her or something? It's really weird and unclear what exactly happened here, but the governement stopped funding the project because they couldn't believe what was being reported.
Then Morgan kills the doctor, and Adam just happens to be there to sweep her into his arms. In the end, we see that Morgan is an accepted part of the system.
~
I wasn't planning on marrating the entirity of the book, I'm trying to cut down on explaining everything but it's very hard to, sorry. I have a lot of thoughts on this, not a lot positive.
I mean yes, the DID was portrayed fairly well. I don't think the system members were entirely nonsense, they were a mixture of specific and odd enough to be made by a little girl going through trauma. That is to say, Leila and her system aren't really the problem here. I'd actually prefer if the book was more about them
It's just.. Adam. He's.. I don't want to root for him at all, and his interest in the system may have grown into genuine concern, but I have genuine concern for how he's gone about this the entire time. He is blatantly putting his partner on a weird abelist pedestal and doesn't see her as a person in her own right, not really. Just an interesting mystery to unravel, a possible threat, and something to fetishize. I don't often look to other reviews for insight on my own, but I did say that someone else said it was fine, just really weirdly sexist. Because, yeah, it really is.
The story is kind of a slog to get through when it's less than 200 pages also. There's a lot of detail that doesn't fucking matter at all, like a lot of movie references, or caterwauling for 4 pages on how he knows this one guy... We don't actually meet Morgan until halfway through the book, if you can believe it. It's just dense with a lot of stuff I (sorry about this) Don't fucking care about!
I don't know, I came away from this book feeling weirdly objectified for having a disorder.
I also don't understand theeee suddenly Magic thing that apparently happened in the end. It was way out of left field when the rest of the book seemed to be grounded in some sort of reality.
I can't speak on the experience of government-based mind control either, I don't know anything about programming either so I can't really speak on that. It did seem pretty scary that she ended up in this institution by seeking help for her DID, though. I don't feel great about that, I don't know if that happens but it feels like a deterrent to get help.
I don't know. I think I don't like the book. The art style isn't my cup of tea either, so I'm not super fond of it anyway.
If you've read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. I don't remember how I end these reviews, but those are my scattered thoughts.
What they got Right in my opinion:
That DID comes from extended, inescapable childhood trauma
All the origins of the alters shown made sense for alters. (the dog coming from feeling cornered, the sultan being an introject from some artwork, etc)
Seeing communication between alters was very nice
Leila feeling as though she was doing fine until looking at her life a little closer was very relatable. As she put it, 'A bug under a rock that's been upturned'
What they got Wrong in my opinion:
Not about DID, but I don't feel like stalking and not taking no as an answer should be rewarded with sex and affection just because the other party is 'concerned' :')
What. was the magic that happened. I do not think that happens when being put through reliving your childhood trauma.
The constant theming about alters being violent and implying one is a killer. even if it was disrobed pretty well in the end, it's not a great feeling throughout and very trope-y
People with DID are just as equal partners to people without and shouldn't be seen as something to fetishize or treat like a puzzle for you to solve, unless explicitly given the okay to.
Would I reccomend this to someone with DID to read? No. I don't feel like this was for someone with DID to read. The intention does not feel like it's made for someone with DID as much as it is a well-researched gimmick for neurotypical people to fetishize.

So, that Star Fox x KonoSuba idea…
It’s had an insane grip on my brain. To the point where my good buddy @blazing-shadows had to spam me with fifty messages, haha XD
Basically, this is what happens when you get your yearly itch for one of your favorite franchises and add in the game that you’ve been playing religiously for a few weeks ^^
I’ve decided to title this silly story “God’s Favor on This Not-Yet-Retired Veteran!” It may be subject to change, though!
This particular crossover idea takes place during the Assault/Command timeline. Why? Because I absolutely ADORE Star Fox Assault, especially Peppy’s portrayal in that game, and while Command is a whole mess, a few ideas/characters were pretty neat (*cough* Lucy *cough*). That, and I wondered what would happen in an alternate scenario where Peppy dies for real during the tail end of the game (a question that has been answered by several authors, actually!).
So the basic gist is that Peppy dies for real after sacrificing the Great Fox, but receives a second chance at life when he meets Aqua, who revives him and sends him to Axel. That second chance at life involves a world where cabbages fly, ranking works like a video game, and the people there are somehow are even bigger a-holes than in the Lylat System. Oh, and he ends up being in a party with one of those a-holes. Not Kazuma—although he’ll definitely meet him later. That would be Dust, the resident town punk, and his long-suffering party consisting of Rin, Keith and Taylor. With his chances at retirement permanently shot, Peppy now has to navigate his new life of being one of the oldest adventurers in Axel, and try not to either rage quit or kill Dust in the process. Meanwhile, in the “real world”, Lylat is reeling from the Aparoid Invasion when the Anglars make their debut, and the fractured Star Fox team must face this amidst team struggles and without their beloved mentor.
It’d be easy to have either Fox or Falco in this scenario, since their personalities would mesh with the craziness perfectly (I personally would nominate Falco for this position since in-universe he’s super competitive), but even before I got into KonoSuba, the idea of Peppy ending up in an isekai situation—especially in this world—was too hilarious to leave alone. Also Peppy’s my favorite character, so that’s a no brainer, lol XD
Also, the main reason I had Peppy team up with Dust is for two reasons: 1. As much as I like Kazuma’s character, I wanted to challenge myself with writing an ensemble cast outside of the main one. Kazuma and his party will definitely get their chance to shine, but I wanted to focus on a different set of adventurers for this story, and the team that’s the opposite of Kazuma’s seemed to be a fun choice. 2. Dust is one of my favorite characters in KonoSuba, which happened completely on accident, lol (more on that in the KonoFan post I’ll make soon). And just imagining the headaches he’d cause Peppy was hilarious.
This being KonoSuba, hilarious shenanigans ensue, but there’s also a little bit of seriousness due to, well, Star Fox. You can’t expect a battle-hardened veteran like Peppy to just be dumped into a crazy world like KonoSuba and pretend none of the canon in his universe didn’t happen, lol. I told my buddy that this little story is gonna be full of humor, drama, tragedy, a smudge of romance, and lots of wholesomeness, because although I put him through the ringer a bit here, Peppy needs a bit of a break after the stuff that happened in canon ;_;
If y’all like this idea enough—or if I can’t shake the brain rot off, haha—this might be something I’ll post on AO3! Let me know what you think in the replies!

Winx Club episode 1 Cinelume vs 4kids

If your here from a master list where I give my insights into winx club or just stumbled into this randomly. I will be going over the difference in the very first episode specifically the cinelume and 4kids dubbing.
So buckle up
First off, the Cinelume dubbing can be referred as to the original dubbing as it closely follows the original Italian version and has the full 22 minutes episodes in comparison to the 4kids 17 minutes episodes, which I've grown up watching.
A while back in high school I did watch the first episode for the cinelume dub and only recently while in uni have decided I might end up watching the rest of the dubbing later as there is more scenes to add to the story and the original source is different to the 4kids version in some ways.
I remember my very first impression on the cinelume dub I was really put off and unable to adjust to it. Watching the episode now I can see why, aside with it obviously being different to what I watched as a kid. The glaring differences were right there with how the episodes start, how all the scenes played out and also how things were cut out of the 4kids version, a sequence of scenes that were supposed to play out and also the very different voice actors.
To me what really stood out was that the characters really seemed lack in personality in cimelume.
While cinelume is charming in it's sweet 16-year-old girl vibe, 4kids gives a more “teenage” feel to the characters, specifically the girls.
If focusing on the voice acting alone there is an overall sweetness to how the girls all sound and this extends to the trix as well. They all sound somewhat similar and it is very rude to say but it feels like the voice actors are doing this for the very first time and just doing it for the hell of it, like a fandub done by friends cause wouldn't it be so cool.
I am going to give a lot of benefit of the doubt as this was an early on cartoon and what not but that plus the language used kind of had me zoning out a bit.
there are two scenes I want to focus on in the first episode, the fight between stella and nutt, the scene where nutt is talking to the trix afterwards.
Upon arriving at the fight where Stella in first shown, Cinelume Bloom is in absolute awe of what she’s witnessing and expresses this with a "woooow, did you see that Kiko?" and she proceeds to comment in on the fight using words like 'goodness' and 'good heavens' before she finally steps out to help but ends up at a loss on what she’s actually going to do.
4kids Bloom however straight up jumps to, and I quote “woah, we can’t both be seeing things, can we?”, she's still in awe but as someone who was grown up on earth is definitely more confused on it all. Also, her commentary on the fight is different with 'that's gotta hurt' after stella gets knocked down and a small 'no' as she sees stella about to be done for. Bloom does step in, and it comes out more assertive however instead of figuring out what she’s gonna do, Bloom seems to be more shocked she picked a fight with a beast.
Another little bit I'd like to put in is in the moment Bloom is captured by Nutt and knocks him back along with ghouls, what she says differs with cinelume being a distressed 'oh no' to 4kids being a demand of 'let go'.
Another change is Stella, before we even see her, we hear her in 4kids where she's a lot more vocal in the fight. We get to see her be wittier especially as a first intro to her character we get a "news flash mister hideous, the power of solaria is sooo gonna flatten you"
"go away you villain or you will feel the magic of the sun and moon fairy" this is what Stella says in the exact scene but cinelume. It's much more proper and there is the point that she is a princess so it would make sense for her to speak like this- but it's not just her.
The main antagonists the trix are alluded to in the first ep and I have to admit again 4kids does take the cake in this as well.
The very first encounter we have of the trix are these shadowy figures enlarged with sharp glowing eyes meant to intimidate and it would have if the voices coming from them weren't so sweet sounding. The animation is there, it's doing all it can.
to my understanding the overall theme they were maybe trying to go for is Cate Blanchett the actress for Hela. You don't have to imagine her acting just the way she talks to thor and loki in thor : ragnarok. If it was her saying "come forth", "You have failed us again" I would be intimidated as well, I'd probably try and justify myself so they wouldn't get mad at me and that is because even though she isn't out right mad and yelling or shouting she is able to vocalize the control she has over the situation. I do understand the vibe they were going for, but it does feel a bit hollow.
4kids however starts with "Well, look whose disappointed us again" following to a demand of "explain yourself nutt". While it may not be the as sophisticated villains the original portray from those two voice lines alone, we get the overall feel that the trix as straight up bullies that wield power. They are more demanding.
example :
"Your glasses, where are they?"
"Where are your glasses"
One sounds more politer than the other, the trix don't ask they demand and they procced to lose their patience with Nutt, raising their voices and even insulting him. He is clearly the minion that works for them they have zero respect for, cause why would they.

Overall based on the fight scene alone I’m not too deterred from the cinelume dub as stated before I'm a bit disappointed knowing that there was more to the episodes and hence story that I could’ve watched growing up and want to know more and while episode two doesn't seem to have to many important scenes cut I am curious to see what else I missed out on.
However there were definitely choices that I do prefer in the 4kids version and the voice acting and language are two of them.
I’m again gonna give benefit of the doubt as it is just the first episode and a dubbing in the early 2000's so there may be more improvement in later episodes/seasons. But I do have to admit that even with bias aside there is something with the voice lines and acting within 4kids that really makes it unique, sure it's cheesy and straight up immature at times, but there are more personalities to these characters that does make them very likable, even nutt and the trix.
The cinelume dub does feel a bit flat in the delivery and the over all language is very proper in a sense, which isn’t bad it’s just I wish that the voices were a little more emotive but again benefit of the doubt and I'm sure there are plenty more aspects to look forward to.
I would recommend if you have the time to watch the first episodes of season 1 from both dubbings to truly get a feel for they both offer.
