Ok so She-Ra pulled such a great hat trick with Hordak's characterization, and I LOVE it

One of my favorite things about 2018 She-Ra is Hordak's story and development (and Entrapdak cough but that's not the point of this particular post), and the cleverest thing is that so much of it is actually being set up and told to us in seasons 1 and 2 before we even realize that that's what's happening.

When we first see Hordak in the show, he's giving "generic evil overlord" vibes. Garden-variety baddie. Maybe a little more reasonable than some and clearly capable of long-term thinking, but that just serves to make him intimidating. Everything about him--the way he runs his empire, his armor, his color scheme, his minion, his Villainous Eye Makeup(TM), even his name--are all projecting to the audience "yup, Acme Bad Guy here. Move right along."

But then, backstory. And everything snaps into focus. Not only is it one of the first big oh SHIT moments of the show, where we suddenly zoom out and realize that there is SO much more going on than we realized--it's also the start of the audience seeing Hordak as a character rather than an archetype. Suddenly we realize that he's not conquering Etheria because he wants power, or hates happiness and sparkles, or whatever--he's doing it out of a desperate attempt to prove his worth to his brother/creator/god. This moment where Hordak lets Entrapta in is also the moment the show lets us in on what makes our favorite spacebat tick.

On top of that, we've also seen him bonding with Entrapta and opening up to this person that he respects and trusts...probably the only person he's ever respected or trusted apart from Prime. And she's Etherian--someone of a lower species, someone he's supposed to subjugate, someone who he has been raised and trained and programmed and mind-controlled into believing is below him in every way.

But instead she's brilliant and creative and mesmerizing. She's not afraid of him, and she's fascinated with his work. For the first time since being abandoned by Prime, Hordak finally has someone that he can talk to, who is on his level and both understands and cares about the science! (because he is a giant nerd). She's kind to him, a mere defect. And it just sends his whole worldview into a spin, and that's all before--

Bam, mans is a goner. Entrapta's "Imperfections are beautiful" comment punches right through all the toxic bs that Hordak has been steeped in his entire life. You can see on his face here--I think it's the moment Hordak fell in love with Entrapta, but this is also the face of a spacebat reevaluating his entire worldview. If Entrapta, who is amazing, believes something different from Prime...what does that mean? If Entrapta, who is brilliant, believes that he is worth something, and that she herself is a failure...

Well. We know what happens after that, and how Hordak begins to doubt, and eventually fights back against Prime (and remembers his love for Entrapta after TWO mind wipes help my heart ack). But we also get to see what life in the Galactic Horde looks like: the only life Hordak ever knew before coming to Etheria.

Prime operates in a very specific way, and we learn a lot about it in season 5. Prime expects complete obedience, devotion and worship from his clones. He allows no individuality from his subjects, not even a name. Failure or deviations are punished, mind-wiped, or destroyed. We even learn from Wrong Hordak that facial expressions are considered a privilege reserved for Prime (apart from, presumably, expressions of rapture caused by being around Prime).

And once we learn all of this, suddenly thinking about season 1 Hordak becomes very interesting indeed. The time we spend with the Galactic Horde and Prime throws absolutely everything that we know about Hordak into a whole new context. Now all those traits that made him a generic villain are actually hugely effective characterization! And what that characterization is telling us is that Hordak had already moved much farther away from Prime than we (or, probably, he) had realized, even long before he met Entrapta.

Horde Prime does not allow his underlings to have names, personalities, or any differences of appearance. Not only does Hordak allow this among his own troops, he chose a name for himself as well! Season 5 tells us that his very name is an act of blasphemy against his god. And yet Hordak took one for himself, and that name is part of the core identity he is able to hold on to when rebelling against Prime.

Horde Prime cast Hordak out when he showed signs of physical imperfections. Hordak not only keeps Imp (who is by all appearances a failed clone or similar experiment) around, he treats Imp more gently than we see him treat anybody or anything before Entrapta. Imp is not simply "generic evil guy's minion," he is proof of Hordak's capacity for compassion, and evidence that Hordak cannot bring himself to cast aside "defects" as easily as Prime. Considering where Hordak came from, Imp's existence is a huge, flashing neon sign telling the audience this guy here is better than the hell that molded him, and we don't even realize it until 4 seasons after it's been shown to us!

Very cool, ND.

There's more, though. Hordak's red and black color scheme? His dark eye makeup and lipstick? Very Evil Overlord chic. But nope! Actually these are actually expressions of individuality on a level that Hordak knows would be abhorrent to Prime!

Reading between the lines, I see this as Hordak desperately trying to reconcile two diametrically opposed beliefs in his head: (1) devotion to Prime, whose approval he desperately craves, and (2) maintaining some degree of unique personhood, of Hordak, from which to draw strength. Because a failed, defective clone cannot survive on a hostile world, cut off from the hivemind and from Prime's light. A failed clone cannot create an empire to offer Prime as tribute, nor build a spacetime portal from scraps and memory to call Prime back. A failed clone cannot create cybernetic armor to keep his hurting, weakened body alive; to force himself to keep going no matter what, to fight through the pain and the doubt by sheer force of will.

But maybe Hordak can.

And so there it is. Hordak had plenty of time to gain and explore his individuality while separated from Prime, but I think the reason he did it so effectively (while still deluding himself that Prime would forgive him for these little sins, if only Hordak could prove his value) is because he had to.

Wrong Hordak gained his individuality surrounded by kind, quirky people who took care of him; Hordak was ripped from the hivemind by Prime himself and had to fight for his survival against all odds. And that produced a dangerous and damaging foe for Etheria. But it also produced the one clone with the strength of will to defy Prime himself.

This is long and rambling, but ultimately my point is that 1) I love Hordak, and 2) I love love love love that the show was so clever about his characterization. We learn so much about him and how much progress he's already made in breaking from his psycho abusive cult upbringing, and we don't even recognize it until the show wants us to. Hordak had come so far, all on his own, before he met Entrapta. She just helped push him over the edge and finally realize (at least consciously) that Prime's worldview might not be the correct one.

Idk, I just don't know if I've ever seen all the trappings of Basic 80's Villain(TM) so successfully subverted, where looking back 4 seasons later is actually a smack in the face with the "effective character building" stick. Amazing.

I’m just sitting thinking about Yuuji having this absolutely DUMB girlfriend like so innocently stupid to the point where it’s unbelievable and he does everything for her because of it.

So much so that Sukuna (whose his brother in this scenario) thinks that she’s trying to take advantage of him but turns out nope she’s just stupid.

I just see Sukuna unwittingly watching over her alongside Yuuji. He acts annoyed but is genuinely worried about her and starts to harbor some feelings for her himself.

Would he keep it to himself would he tell Yuuji idk but the idea is so cute to me

I feel Sukuna would say something like this to her while aggravated which will make her run crying into Yuuji arms and he just babies her

Aahahaha babe I love this 💗💗 Sukuna is SO suspicious of her! Like, he can act as annoyed with his brother as he wants, but he loves Yuuji and is super protective of him. So when he sees that girl acting dumb, as he thinks, he sees red. If someone takes advantage of Yuuji's kindness and naivety, it can only be Sukuna!!

And so he becomes a bit obsessed with watching her because he wants to expose her evil plan, which then leads to him realizing she isn't doing this with an ulterior motive in mind... And now Sukuna kind of is like, "yeah ok she and my brother are great for each other, both so naive and a bit stupid lol".

But it bugs him. He is used to looking after his brother because the world is a bad place full of assholes like Sukuna. And Yuuji is too trusting and too nice...and yet Yuuji is a strong guy who can definitely protect himself by using his fists. But his little naive girlfriend is a whole other thing. Sukuna feels SO uneasy!! A girl like that isn't safe out there! He now feels like he has a responsibility to look after her too! It drives him up the walls to see her act the way she does, and he will snap and say stuff to her that makes her cry, which then makes him feel so weird somehow when he sees the big fat tears running down her cheeks.

Of course, Yuuji is mad at him and tells him to stop being mean to his sweet girlfriend! And Sukuna rolls his eyes and is like, "Whatever, I don't give a fuck about her anyway!"

But he tries to keep his mouth shut now because seeing her cry really felt kind of shitty. And for a guy who claims to not give a fuck he really follows her around a bit too much, always ready to punch anyone who tries to take advantage of her naivety. At first, he tells himself he only does that for his brother, making sure his girlfriend is safe. But gradually Sukuna has to admit to himself that he has grown quite fond of Yuuji's girl too...

(but I also live for angst so I was just like no!!!! Yes!!! But no!!!)

- shadow continues to be a BEAST in fights. Tokyo fight was great but the super fight. When shadow blocked Sonic's punch without even looking. hold on. Hold on give me a minute

- Jim Carrey stuff was funny most of the time, but it did get intrusive in some parts. Some of that screen time could have been allocated to shadow and maria. If I may ask, there's a few things in particular that I am super curious about! Does it affect his appearance at all? How does he first react when he learns? If his family learned of it, how would they respond? (Particularly Aredhel!)

OK, so first, I think we have a different definition of hc. For you it seems to be a complex thing, like a mini-au (not necessasarily alternate). For me hc is just a fact I assume, or sometimes like to assume, or at least like to entertain at the moment.

So when I say "with this origin of orcs (link for people not knowing the context), I would probably hc Maeglin as semi-orc", I mean just this fact, not that I have an explosion of details in my brain. (I think semi-orc is a better name than part-orc when we're talking more about "orcs spontaneously reverting into elves through some generations" thing).

Anyway, I love to see how enthusiastic you are about things, and I like being asked, so let's make something up.

With appearance it depends on how you imagine orcs in general. I would say they are more animalistic and much less symmetrical than Elves, and get scars easily. Elves heal neatly (except in dractic circumstances, like Angband), because of the fea-hroa harmony.

Orcs have less of this harmony than humans, that's how they're made, by messing up their bodies and if the soul gives up, but instead of going away just accepts the situation and is like "well, that's bad, but it's fine I guess" we get an orc. Something like that. Something like in one text in Morgoth's Ring? Manwe talks about accepting evil and building upon it, as not necessarily evil in itself, but a source of problems (the context is of course Finwe's remarriage).

But we're talking an Elf here, so after some generations the bodies are born normal enough to be immortal. So it's more a Maedhros level of messed up than Orc level of messed up.

So how would he look?

Obviously, paler skin and bigger pupils, because this fits the physical traits. I would say, a less symmetric face. Not visible at first sight, still more symmetrical than average human, byt when he smiles, the smile goes a bit sideways. Maybe that's why he doesn't smile in front of others.

Also, in some depictions orcs have thicker, fur-like hair, so, especially if we imagine elven hair as very fine, Maeglin's would be more stiff.

(Also, no big flapping ears. Elven ears are human-sized, maybe a bit more sharp on the top but that's it. That is canon. IDK why but giving Tolkien Elves huge ears angers me more than it should. <3 and respect to everyone who draws the like this, but it gets on my nerves.)

I would assume he learned about his ancestry when being interrogated about the location of Gondolin, so it was ...difficult.

Disbelief, but Maeglin had always known that something was off about him, he'd always felt that his father is hiding something. (Mother too? I'm not sure if she knew.) Basically, it's the mix of emotional reactions which Luke has on Vader being his dad. But with more guilt mixed in, and shame. Maeglin very much feels like a toxic shame guy to me. He would do everything to keep it secret, especially from Idril. And to not be turned into a full orc (which I assume is impossible w/o consent, but the consent may be persuaded with long torture, so...)

Later, after returning to Gondolin, he would spiral into toxic shame, self-hatered, jealous of others who have a normal background and were not threatened like this, etc etc.

Family... well, Eol knew, obviously. It came from his side of family. His mother or father, I would assume, or (if we ignore the "kin of Thingol" note), Eol was of purely orkish ancestry, it just mosly reverted.

Eol... didn't assume orkish ancestry is something you should mention to your future spouse before marriage. He teased Maeglin, always suggested that there was something they shared that was unique and the Noldor would not accept it, but never told him anything concrete.

Aredhel...? she would be worried. Not in a "will my son turn evil?" way, more in a "will my son be healthy?" way and she would be like "now I see why he is like that". Imagine getting a mental health diagnosis for your child, and that's it (well, ok, orkish background has also physical components, not only mental, but I think in terms of how the parent feels it's close). Along with the "How do I treat him now? I should act normal, but also, he has special needs probably..." part.

She would generally be loving but a little lost. She would be angry at Eol for not telling her, but also very much wanting to show Maeglin that she doesn't love him less because he's like this.

She would probably tell the rest of the family, Aredhel doesn't seem to secretive to me. And she'd expect help. Turgon... I know a little of him, I guess he'd be fine with it? I mean, Maeglin is not an orc, just has some traits... And he's a good warrior...

Idril may, paradoxically, feel more comfortable with Maeglin after that (as long as he isn't flirting with her, because unrequited flirting is always uncomfortable). Now she knows what is off with him, she doesn't have to worry that much. She would overcompensate a bit, try to show him "I like you, the reason I don't romantically love you isn't because you have orkish ancestry, it's just because I don't", this would be a little awkward and Maeglin would read it as pity and probably hate it.

Celegorm would suggest banishing Maeglin, if not outright killing him. He spent a lot of time with Orome and is very strict about orcs. (Also, he is kind of a jerk). Curufin wouldn't care, Maeglin is good at crafts, and reasonable and polite, and this matters.

Of course, a lot depends on how and from whom they would learn. This is assuming Aredhel would be alive and she would tell them. I f they learned, let's say, from an anonymous letter, it would be a very different story (Turgon doesn't believe anonymous letters, Celegorm wants to find a way to check it, Curufin agrees it's worth checking, Celegorm is contemplating murdering Maeglin)

Can we talk about how no one says the worst villain is cottonmouth? I remember when one of guys did nothing and he killed him?!!! Lets not forget that everything with the plant was his fault, and poor hawthorn! Moon had a prophecy where none of the tribes would survive, if it happened who do you think would cause that? Ok, you got at thoughts?

GRHAORAHAHRAHHRAHHARAHHH I HATE COTTONMOUTH I HATE HIM I HATE HIM I HATE HIM!!! Literally the worst written character in the series I need him Erased from the text. I despise Webs, but Cottonmouth is a close second for Character I Wish Never Existed.

Cottonmouth is so boring and uninspired. He is evil and terrible, but not in a fun way. He's not campy or intimidating or anything. He's flavorless. I'm certain eating a plain white cracker would be a more exhilarating experience than reading any of his dialogue. He's so lame it hurts. The way he was introduced haphazardly (along with the fetus) as being the big bads all along just...baffles me. I went into TFOH with literally rock-bottom expectations and was still disappointed in some regards; Cottonmouth being one of them.

He's a lame villain. He's boring. He wants power because he's evil and wants power. He doesn't say or do anything fun. He doesn't symbolize or mean anything to the story that's interesting or compelling. I would take back the Othermind being a talking sentient plant in a heartbeat because at least the Othermind had some life and whimsy in it. Look at this!! They're silly!! Cottonmouth wishes he had the life that he apparently was written to have back like two books ago.

The only thing I really care about here is the b-plot about Gorzan and his flower. More engaging than the main plot

Prediction about Laval replacing Cragger as the resident dumbass seems to be coming true

Gorzan is quickly becoming my favorite.

What entertains me so much is that the way Adam was written, they try to make it seem like he’s some manipulative mastermind who does everything bad on purpose, where the fact is he’s probably not even that old enough or smart enough to even be THAT conniving.

Yes he’s a smart dude, but it’s just hilarious where they act as if his behavior would be something you could never see coming, especially for characters who— oh I don’t know— HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR YEARS. I mean there is times where they see some parts of him.

Yet. Let’s frame this guy to be some kind of evil genius up until he somehow loses every ounce of respect people have of him (why? people shouldve known what they were getting into, he’s not that fucking secretive good god they would’ve known) and make him look like a loser who also loses every ounce of thought process he ever had.

Have him bee-line to death even though when the Hell has he been shown to bee-line for that type of thing. Like for example.. IMO him finding Blake at beacon was coincidental (prove me if im wrong tho, but also dont blame because its been 15 million years since ive watched v3)

Racism and incompetence are a killer combo, lemme tell ya.

"Haha Adam is such an incompetent angry and petty loser" and "Adam is a cunning charismatic mastermind who has spent years building up power and influence in the WF in order to launch a (nearly) bloodless coup against a leader who was also framed in the narrative as charismatic enough to overthrow the leader before her" could theoretically coexist in a better written story as a villain spirals, but this show is not that. Adam's "spiral" is more of a sudden nosedive. Hiding any justifications for that nosedive in supplementary material is like trying to put rebar in concrete after the fact. You just can't do it because those afterthoughts actively contradict what we were already shown.

It doesn't help the idea that Adam's supposed to be charismatic that his voice acting is so on-the-nose Bad Guy that you're staring at everyone else in any scene like, "Yo! Do something! He's clearly evil!"

He didn't even find Blake at Beacon, Blake found him. Maybe he was looking for her, maybe he was interrogating-to-death any students he found trying to find one that could point him to her, but she was the one that found him. He just noticed her before she could retreat.

new episode of doctor who (Boom!) was almost AMAZING. it was easily my favorite episode of the new season. it was almost a FANTASTIC return to form that i almost THOROUGHLY loved from start to finish!!!!

i just wish theyd stuck the landing. like. Come On....

my favorite episodes are the scary ones. shoutouts to midnight, my Favorite Episode Ever, which i went to go rewatch in a dark room after watching Boom!, for being the like. equivalent of what this episode could've been if it had stuck the landing. because both of them have a LOT of similarities, right?

(spoilers ahead!)

like. one location. almost entirely performance-based, with the doctor doing a lotta the heavy lifting. the doctor's bff DNI. the doctor is in danger and Really Sells It Well with acting. deadly environment ravaged by capitalism. it practically begs comparison! but i'm going to assess Boom! on its own merits in a minute, 'cause i don't like thinking about what things Could've Been. it coulda been anything. but it was this! i'm mainly gonna bring up midnight to talk about the endings of both episodes, cause i think there's something interesting to say there.

first: boom! is BRILLIANT as a suspenseful episode. it had me gripping the table and holding my breath and getting So scared. and its big Twist that there's No Real War was brilliantly foreshadowed and a SUPER COOL REVEAL. i love when the doctor's whimsy gets fractured by their utter disgust for war, and that comes through in Full Force here. ncuti gatwa has been so extremely excellent in every performance he's done, and here he's just Perfect. he plays the fear and the burying of emotions and the disgust and the spite so wonderfully, and he's completely believable the whole time.

so i loved that. and i loved how genuinely gross it is to have a corporate ai reconstruction of a dead guy explain how the corporation valiantly did all they could! that was really well done and i loved the Thoughts & Prayers robots a lot. not just cause i love robots too!!!!

so we had a wonderful and incisive episode that did some really interesting things and had a really scary premise, and then all of a sudden a magic wand gets waved and all the scary and bad things go away. and that's where i soured, because, like... c'mon, man. again, ncuti gatwa plays this excellently, but the writing here is like. Oh look! the AI brought down the Extremely Massive Corporation That's Been Causing Wars offscreen and it's gone now and everything's ok! :-] and the AI is back to being the real guy and everything's all good now.

my opinion's that i like it Much better when the doctor doesn't just like. Instantly solve problems. one of the big reasons the russell t davies era is so beloved is its respect for side characters. at least that's what hbomberguy said. the side characters here are excellent and well done, but they don't get to influence anything! sure, the AI takes down the corporation, but we don't get to understand what that looks like or means or how it happens or how it affects him. he just Goes And Does That.

i like when the doctor has a smaller situation to address, resolves that, and gives people the will to fight on. because he literally NAMES capitalism as the issue in this episode. he scoffs at it and is disgusted by it and horrified by the war economy.

and then instead of giving the audience any hope that You Can Fight Back, a magic ai takes down the corporation. we never get to feel like the corporation is even People. it's naturalized as this Evil Profit-Maximizing Thing, and unlike many of the better capitalism-tackling episodes or just. like. ugly human action tackling episodes, we don't get to feel like the big corporation is something People Chose To Do.

in midnight, we don't get to see the resort fall apart. we hear that they'll PROBABLY move. will they? who knows? but we get something much more chilling that makes me deeply sick to my stomach, and that reflects all of the people in the room and how they're complicit.

when the hostess gives her life, the doctor turns to everyone and asks them: what was her name?

nobody knows. she was just a hostess. this world was just a resort to them. ALL of them were complicit.

that episode doesn't end on a pretty note. it ends on the doctor being genuinely scarred by what had just happened, looking deeply upset and asking donna not to joke about it. which is to say: we don't need a pretty bow on everything! i want to be inspired to care. and also get to walk outta the episode holding onto some of that REALLY WELL DONE fear.

i hope Boom! isn't the darkest this new season gets, because it was PERFECT when it was dark. and then someone reached over and yanked open the window and so much light streamed in that i couldn't see The Point.

That's Right, the big volleyball rally is happening tomorrow. Because learning is dumb.

“you think everything is gonna go well?” Vul said sitting on my shoulder.

“I hope so”. I answered not convincing myself.

The next day rolled around and some of the classes were forced to watch the teachers play the volleyball teams.

This was more of a general sports day with people goofing off around the school.

The boys and I watched as Mashima and some of the other year-two boys played. Well, I watched Mishima, Akira just stared into space and Ryuji’s gaze was fixed on Ann.

“She still sticks out” he mumbled to himself, but tried to play it off when we looked at him.

All of a sudden the game got intense as Kamoshida Spiked the ball, right into mashimas face. He fell, seeming to have been knocked out. Making my heart skip a beat.

I looked over to see the evil man rolling his eyes before putting on a worried look and running over to Mishima.

“Someone take him to the nurse” he called, pulling the boy up rather roughly.

I think Ryuji could tell I was concerned, as he said “Don’t worry we will make him pay soon”

That match soon ended allowing us to question the guys.

“Im gonna go check in with Mishima, you guys can handle this on your right?”

“Yeah, you should make sure he ok, maybe he’ll tell you something we wouldn’t tell us,” Ryuji said giving me a little salute.

Mishima and I weren’t close, he was already going through Kamoshida’s abuse by the time I got here, but on occasion, I had managed to get him alone outside of school, where I learned he was a sweetheart.

I opened the door to the nurse's office and saw Mishima sitting up on one of the beds, holding an ice pack to his head.

“Hey Mishi, you alright?” I said shutting the door. “Nurse step out for a bit?”

“Yea,h” he answered in a hushed voice.

“I can’t believe he spiked that ball right at your face,” I said sitting beside him.

“Yeah, but it was an accident” he turned to me.

“Honey, it's just the two of us, you don’t have to lie to me.” my heart ached to see all the emotions present on his face.

“I don’t know what to do, no one will believe me if I say something, I'll end up just like Sakamoto. No offense, I know he’s your friend.”

“No I understand no one wants to be the villain, I don’t know what to tell you.” shrugged.

“Would it be bad to say I wish he’d just disappear”

I looked at the time, it was already after school “Go get changed,d and I'll walk you out”

We were just about to walk out the doors when Ryuji and Akira walked up.

“Well seeing as he does go to practice every day, id say it’s due to your teaching methods you are the reason is formed is as you say crappy, being good at something doesn’t mean you're good at teaching it” I chimed in, feeling like Ares the god of war was possessing me.

“Didn’t you hear, He said he’s not feeling well” Ryuji stood by me.

The man chose to ignore us. “Are you coming or not Mishima”

“...ill go,” he said head down.

“Mishima?” I grabbed his hand trying to stop him.

“Just let me go, Emily,” he said looking back at me.

“We could still try to convince the other guys,” Ryuji said, but in truth, I think he knew that was a losing fight. The image of Mishima looking back at me pulled at my heart, even after the day ended.

Can I just say that one of my ocs. Nolin has like oh my god. I can't stop thinking about him.

Like I can't stop thinking about how he reacts to tk. Like nolin is very. veryyy cocky. Of course not too cocky unless ya get o. His bad side but cocky in that annoying big brother way. Like he's 21 and acts like a total goof. Always trying to get a rise out of someone. Especially a cwrtain someone who knows of his weakness will use it against him if he's pushing it too far.

Like oh ny god he's so cuuute when he laughs. Like it's adorble. To put in ref, it's like jefferys laugh from fucking pyscho dad. He sounds like the joker or a hyna it's adorble.

Like holy shit his weak spot his is stomach right and let me just say right now Nolin is very, VERY powerful but once use tk against he just runs. So like if you chasing him his comcy side will come out sometimes but once ya have all pinned hell be all like begging and trying to make q deal with you. But this Boi lies a lot. Like a lot lot. Infact he if he lies you immediately believe him cause like thats one of his powers AHOWVER THEIR IS AWAY TO TWLL WHEN HES LYING BUT IRS VEEY VERY HQRD TOO DO.

But juet AAHHHH and oh my god as a ler. He has a friend in the community and when he found out he was totally cool with it but he made sure to fluster his siren friend to the brink. He even grabbed his friends phone to look around abojt whike wrecking him to see what the community has to offer. He's a smug guy alright so of course he found out pretty much everything about thr community. He actually made a list of tk tools when he found put abojt it to buy some. And yes he did infact tell his other friend about it.

Like those two. I don't wanna say the other friends name but she's cat hybrid have tkrd this siren for as long as they could remember and once they both found out they absolutely went to town on that info. But of course they did have a quick moment of seriousness because the siren thought they were weird put EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE BOTH PLAYING UP THE MEAN LER but they made sure to let him know so his anxiety wouldn't edge him over and then they both went to town.

Oh and he does have a little sister she's around (quote on quote cause she stopped aging) 12. She also knows about nolins weakness now she isn't tk anymore but she will mention spots that get him going if shes feeling "evil" specially if the said person has been getting messed wkth nolin for a long time and hqve no clue on how to get him back.

But she knows how and so does his other friend. Which I'll say soul. And nolin oh boy does he know when he fucked up with soul. They were both in the mafia at one point and despite soul beinf human and nolin being well not human to put in simple terms. They both have extreme stamina. So let's say nokin screws up and souk will just say in a deep voice "you have five seconds to run" now two things will happen. Nolin eill immediately bolt jumping a window or breaking a door just to flea or hell get cokcy and think soul isn't being serious but once realizing she is he bolt. Now this chase can last FOR HOURS- ok for FUCKING HOURS. But don't worry Nolin always gets caught stops whayever hes doing for a week or two and then goes right back to annoying people playfully. What can I say he never learns.

I'd say he has a hate like relationship with tk. But he's just sees as a playful thing or torture if he's being punished. But as long as people don't ya know go too far with it then he's mostly OK with it. Though he'll be absolutely be a flustered mess-

Couple days ago, I was looking through some my old messages with my friend and how I register everything it was going on that time with details that I didn't put in the tumblr. Looking back, I was in college, with different notions of what is right for me, still relaying alot in my parents...Thinking that if I believe in them or their ideas of what is right, I would gain more love. It didnt happen, I was very miserable at that time. But to not be unfair, there was times that they would support me still. Those times were helpful and nice. But still it was a lot to handle for a 22 year old girl. A girl who never left the city. A girl who grown most of the time isolated from the world. A girl who is trying to be taken seriously as a musician and as human being.

College was very difficult. Let me explain to you: by 2014, the college has in its total just 5 students. Me, a boy who is nice and younger than me, a boy who is rich but was rebel without any cause it was just stupid...A guy who I used to have a big crush but he was a jerk, and his friend. College has three cool teachers. And one asshole teacher. (Ok, there were two asshole teachers, both in different levels)

To handle a crush, which I waited months and months to take the courage to say my true feelings for him, and some teacher chauvinism, and my college mates chauvinism, and my dad's chauvinism and narcissism, was absolutely hard as fuck. I did what I could. And it surprises me on how I was able to learn anything at all.

My favorite teacher was there too. And he was the only good person to me. The other teacher who was his friend was so rude at the time, in the first classes, I said that "i was so distracted doing something that I forgot to eat", that he called me stupid. STUPID(!).

The college was ruled by a guy who was truly a stupid and bad character guy. lets call this guy A.

The rude teacher, lets call him M. ...was with me and my two other class mates (both boys) out to get lunch. We were talking about my favorite teacher who wasn't there that night. Lets call this teacher B.

"I thought the teacher B was an asshole at first" - said one of my classmates.

" I liked teacher B when I met him"- I said like....all ok..

"Gosh Thazi, even the director A. you like!! " - said the asshole classmate.

The rude teacher laughed hard.

I remember that night until this day. And it is such a misconception about me that "I-like-everything-nothing-bothers-me". Well, I used to fucking hate this classmate. Because he was stupid, he was always interrupting classes to say some fucking shit that doesn't matter. HOW COULD HIM compare A. that was a fucking asshole, thieve, to B. who is a fucking wonderful teacher. Who was the only one who truly treat me nicely. Assholes. I would punch him in the face if that asshole classmate would say that for me today.

reading the conversations about college, also realize of how the teacher M. was so rude to me, so mean unnecessarily...And I was at that time was like "such a shame, cause I thought he was so nice at first and I even thought he was pretty!". With teacher M. being so rude I used to skip his classes to take care of my emotional health who got so fucked up in 2015.

The teacher B. was truly nice from the start, he said something sexist in the very first message I send to him...A silly joke about: dont use pink pen to do the exercise. lol (so silly and so not like him). But i didnt see evil in that cause I really loved pink so...But then, he was always so nice, he was always saying interesting things, and he even gave me 2 books and a music sheet of beatles. He was my advisor when I was making my final paper for college. He was truly the best.

And he is one my best friends until this day. And I feel very lucky to have him as a friend. Very lucky. Sometimes I feel like, I am not even enough to be a friend of his. But since I learned to have self confidence that sometimes it works...I believe I have something good inside of me that maybe is useful.

So if you always have doubt of getting a diary...Please do it.

Dont let your insecurities tell that you were wrong.

Register your days, remember who were the persons there for you. Have this in mind but dont be stuck in the past. Just understand your past and then move on.
