Could I request something? Mother Miranda/ Reader if you'd be willing to write this of course. Soulmate AU where it's actually a very rare accurance, like once in a lifetime, and it happens to be the reader. She stumbles across the village somehow, she's not from around there. A foreign, if you like. I would like to see something a bit angsty cause it's Mother Miranda, she would probably be in denial, that poor bird, but with a happy ending. Thank you in advance if you decide to write something like this ✨️ If not, that's okay too!

A Mother Miranda Oneshot

It wasn't supposed to be like this, it was never supposed to happen. The chances were millions to one, how did it have to happen to her?!

On a cold and balmy day you, an outsider, stumbled upon her village. You had gotten lost and sought help unknowingly signing yourself over to your doom. Or so she had thought, as your eyes connected it was like all the air rushed from her lungs. Her heart leapt like it was going to spring forth from her chest. And she HATED it. She didn't have time for this, for love, especially with some foreigner even though you gave her the sweetest of smiles.

She turned and stalked away, intent on leaving you there but to her irritation (and spark of hope which she promptly tried to stomp out) you followed. She reasoned she could lead you to Alcina and her girls, but a cry of panic from her heart (along with a sharp stab of pain in her chest) caused that thought to be dismissed.

Regretfully she had no choice but to bring you to her home, so she did. The days that followed were torture. You were so nice, so sweet, you helped with everything that she would let you. She was torn between her feelings, the all consuming love that her heart wanted her to give in to and the anger her brain feels. Each passing day her anger grew and festered while her heart kept hoarding all the little bits of affection and love you gave her.

Your fingers would lightly brush hers when you would hand her something. Sometimes when you needed to pass her your hand would lightly touch her upper back to let you know you were behind her. You would joke and tell her stories about your past. You would hum as you worked, send her soft smiles her way. And her greedy heart snatched them all up.

Her anger would simmer while she talked and responded to you. Sometimes you'd make her slip and smile softly at you, before she caught herself and corrected her face. There was something else that started to feel and she couldn't quite place it, well she could but she didn't care to.

It came to a peak when she had yet another failed experiment infront of her. Another step backwards instead of forward. Another day without her Eva. When she came out of her lab, she was furious and you.......you had reached out to her, concern written on your face and it made her snap.

"Don't touch me!" Miranda hissed, hating the way her chest ached as you pulled back. "I don't need you! You've been nothing but a thorn in my side since you've came here! I hate you! I should have saved myself the trouble and left you out there to die!" Tears sprang into your eyes and it nearly made her cry herself. You backed away from her, choking on the knot that buried itself in your throat. "Get out!" She roared, wings snapping up from her back. "GET OUT!"

You fled from her, the door slamming shut behind you. It took awhile before the anger melted away and her heart starting screaming and crying at her. Guilt flooded her for the first time in a long time.

She had let you leave, she had sent you to your death.

It hit her then, the overwhelming pain of losing someone. She gripped the nearest chair to keep herself upright. She hadn't felt this pain so strong since- since her Eva died.

There was no way she could let you go, she had to get you back. You need to be here with her, safe with her. Quickly she sent out her crows, having them search for you. Every second that ticked by felt like an eternity, and when they had finally found you she screamed.

You were being dragged into Castle Dimitrescu.

It took a moment before she was able to gather control of herself but when she did, she melted through the ground flying through veins of mold to the castle. The crows sending images of Alcina bending to bite your neck as you struggled in her daughters' grasp. With a final surge she sprang up from the floor, using her power she flung back Alcina and the girls. Indignant cries echo out but all she cares about is catching you and pulling you against her. Your fingers dug into her as you clung to her for your life, she could feel your tears soak her clothes, your body shaking in her grasp. Blood oozed from your neck, staining the white of her clothes.

"Mother Miranda!" Alcina gasped, surprised at the sudden appearance from her.

"Give me a reason not to kill you this instant." Miranda snarled, a set of wings coming to shield you from others.

"We didn't know that she is yours Mother Miranda." She started, eyes darting to her daughters and back to you. "Had we known she was your test subject we-"

"She is not my test subject!" Miranda hissed, "She is MY soulmate!" The words rang out in the now silent castle.

Alcina quickly kneeled down submitting herself and quickly began to apologize. "Forgive us! My daughters and I did not know!" The girls echoed their mother's sentiment.

Miranda looks down at you, the sight of you tears and the blood that slides down your throat practically kills her inside. "I will deal with you later." She says before wrapping you both in her wings and disappearing from the castle.

It wasn't long before you were both back at her home and she gently unwrapped her wings from you but still held you in her arms. "Come, let me clean and take care of that bite." Her voice was soft and low, as if not to startle you.

"Why?" You croak, suddenly pushing her away. Her arms fell slack against her sides, guilt clawing in her chest and throat. "Why do you care?!" You take steps back, putting distance between the both of you. "You said you hate me! You said you wish you had left me to die! Soulmates don't do that to each other! If you wanted me to die then why didn't you?! I'd rather be dead than be stuck with someone who hates me!"

Her heart clenched in her chest and she reaches out, wanting to assure you that she does in fact love you. "I was angry, upset with myself because I was scared. And I took that out on you, I don't want you to die. I want you here with me, safe from everything that could ever hurt you. Please give me another chance, let me explain why I am scared, but more importantly let me show you that I do care and love you. Please let me have a second chance." Her words pleading, she couldn't bare it if you didn't give her another chance.

You stare at her as tears roll down your cheeks, she knows you don't trust her, that your chest is probably aching and hurts just as much as hers does. Finally you give her a soft nod, tentatively reaching out and taking her hand. "Okay." Your voice is barely audible but her heart leaps at the word, you've given her another chance.

She intertwines your fingers with hers and guides you to the kitchen. She washes your wound, carefully putting a salve on before bandaging it. While she works she begins to tell you everything, her life before you. When she speaks of her daughter Eva you reach out and put a comforting hand on her arm, she cries for the first time in front of you. She explains why she was so angry, she realizes now that most of her anger stimmed from fear. The fear of loving someone who could lose.

You listen, speaking only when you feel the need too. You wipe away her tears and she is thankful for you. When you go to bed it's with her in the next room, counting down till the morning. The following days she's softer around the edges, still herself but just a little more open.

It takes time but you both grow closer, you forgive her and start trusting in her. When she reaches out you are there, the light touches you once gave her coming back. And it's one fall day, a day you convinced her to take a walk with you, that you turn to her and press a sweet kiss to her lips. She melts as she pulls you into her arms and kisses you back, your hands rising to intertwine in locks of her hair. When you have to part for breath you both rest the bridges of your noses together. "I love you Miranda."

Decided to reread the Batman and Superman get possessed fic because I enjoy it so much. Listening to the Dr's. Fenton get chewed out by the Justice League is so sweet. I can only imagine what's happening down in the lab that resulted in such a commotion. Please tell me it's not another ghost (please tell me it IS a ghost who popped through the portal with perfect comedic timing just as the Fentons were explaining how very secure the portal is being kept.) Third, please, please, please, if it isn't abandoned, consider adding a scene where Obi Wan yells at Anakin? And I really mean he goes all out, makes him think about himself, and Anakin comes back to apologise because he's ashamed of his behaviour? This Obi Wan is so kind and gentle with Anakin and in return he gets accused of manipulating an investigation and shirking duty for a grudge? Reading that argument scene between them pissed me off so damn bad, because how are you talking about trust and Obi Wan should trust Palpatine because Anakin does and Palpatine is good and honest and trustworthy and reliable, how can someone be so lacking in self awareness as not to realise that the corollary is that Obi Wan is bad and dishonest and untrustworthy and unreliable, so much so that he would accuse an innocent man of corruption over a years old grudge? And he's talking about trust? A fic has never had me so heated in my life, I would've been calling Anakin all kinds of b@st@rd in Obi Wan's place. He's being so soft with Anakin and I don't like that 😭😭😭

What a great question, thank you! When reading fic, I’m more than happy for the author to take me wherever they like with the physical descriptions. In my head Drarry are vague enough that I can enjoy them no matter what they look like in the fic and I love the variety of it all.

That being said, let me mention some interpretations in artworks that stole my breath away:

@fairysilk has this STUNNING study of Harry, that might be my favourite thing in the world. I know I said I don’t have a preference but if I had to pick, this is Harry.

You mentioned bearded Harry and YES. @blvnk-art ‘s Harry of course, so so so perfect. As an aside, Bianca also draws my favorite Wolfstar.

First things first, I’m so so sorry for taking so so long to reply!!! 🥺I’ve been quite busy lately irl and your ask calls for a proper answer. I think Levi is the least judgeamental character in AoT. This is in a virtuous circle with his kindness and selflessness, where those three qualities feed each other back . He’s kind and He’s a good judge of character, he’s practical, obviously he’s strong, both physically and spiritually. His resilience is extraordinary, after all he’s been through, he has not succumbed to rage, revenge, envy… Eren went through a smidgen of a fraction of what Levidis, and he decimated mankind for it. If Levi’s virtues are a bit hidden behind his gruff exterior, his weaknesses are there for all to see (is this a fault in itself?). He can be rude, he expreses anger and frustration in a violent manner—which is a result of his upbringing, granted, but still makes him look unapproachable. This can be good when facing your enemies as a soldier, but can isolate him from meaningful human connections too. I’m veering on hc terrain here, but for all his empathy he also strikes me as someone who’d be much less compassive/forgiving when it’s about “first world problems”. Annie killed his squad? No hard feelings, child soldier, all that jazz; you berate the waiter because he messed up your order? You’re dead to him. I’ve mentioned this before somewhere, but we have an idiom in my country for people who, like Levi, are not cut for polite social events, and its to be “coarse as a plough”, which is funny bc Ackerman means ploughman.

Mikasa is also strong af, and she pairs that with a calm demeanor… unless her loved ones are threatened ofc. In fact, I think Mikasa’s weaknesses are mostly her virtues going overboard: she has a fierce protective instinct, which is good up to a point but it becomes a problem  when she lets that override her judgement, like in the female titan arc. She’s determined, but that turns into stubborness. She’s loyal, but that loyalty turned into paralysis in the case of Eren; not only when it came to having to stop him, but also regarding her crush on him, which she probably wasn’t fully conscious of, hence her surprise and awkwardness when he asked her “what am I to you”.

I’m not sure at what point I started shipping rm; I do remember fretting when he was revealed to be an Ackerman, for fear that they could turn to be family, because I was already rooting for them. I guess I was initially attracted to the idea of the power couple, being the two most badass characters in the series. But I also like how she blooms under his guidance. He could have easily dismissed or bashed her for her protectiveness of Eren, but he teaches her to curb that zeal and keep it as a goal, not a trigger; he lends her his trust and allows her to become his right hand in battle. She in turn, despite her initial enmity towards him because of his display in Eren’s trial, is able to recognize Levi’s kindness and appreciate his leadership. He treats her not like a weapon, not like a silly girl, but like a full human being. Perhaps Mikasa is the one who most shows her fear of losing her loved ones, and that’s certainly something Levi knows about. Neither of them have time or energy for BS. It’s canon Mikasa wishes for a peaceful life like the one she had with her parents, and Levi to me exudes huge “I’m too old for this shit” energy (like jjk Nanami, another husbando) so I can picture them spending their afternoons in domestic bliss, fixing things around the house, tending to the garden, rather than going to town. He can give her reassurance and She could provide him with the family life he never had.

They’re both hot af, too. 😆 Imagine that Ackerpower in the bedroom...

In the end though, like in real life, it doesn’t matter much why you like it… You just do, and it makes you happy, and it hurts no one, so it’s fine!

Awww idk if being thankful or sorry that you started shipping rm because of me! 😅 Our ship is one of the most misunderstood of the fandom, and from time to time we get hate from antis, eruris and/or eremikas. But because of who they are, what they’ve been through and what they want, I think they make for beautiful fics where their relationship helps them fix themselves, rather than fixing each other. This is something that often comes up in the rm discord, how our fave fics are usually post-canon and about building a healthy relationship based on respect, rather than all the drama and toxicity of classic romance lit. (ofc we also enjoy a good old pwp… though you’ll still find a lot of established-relationship porn and porn-with-feelings fics.)

How would the Autobots and Decepticons (Prime) react to their Shattered Glass counterparts?

Cybertron was once at peace, populated by a race that sought peace and harmony. However, one librarian by the name of Optronix was unsatisfied with his position. Backstabbing his way to the top, he began to preach violence, intolerance and conquest, gaining loyal followers who were bored with the peace. Optronix had his army, now named the Autobots, upgraded with weapons and enhancements, and proceeded to conquer city after city. Optronix, having renamed himself Optimus Prime, began to desire more and more knowledge, until one day he learned something that made him snap, turning him from cool and calculating to vicious and erratic.

Despite Optimus Prime's cruelty, there were those who opposed the tyrant by forming a resistance. But without a leader the resistance would have no future… Then, from the fires of the great city Polyhex came a champion who united the scattered resistance fighters into a cohesive army: Megatron!

Megatron: Your tyranny ends here, Prime! Cybertronians will once again know the freedom which is their right! Optimus Prime: Never! The only rights they shall have are the ones I give them!

Optimus Prime: Optimus is angry that a version of himself could be so horrible. He would not like learning about how are SG Prime has gone and now he has failsafe's in place to ensure that SG Prime won't be able to cause harm.

Bumblebee: Bee can't believe that SG Bumblebee now Known as Goldbug is Cruel. He thinks that Goldbug's Paranoia with cause him to get permanently offlined and that Goldbug's strategy to survive is extreme.

Ratchet: Ratchet is furious to learn that his counterpart is a freak. he doesn't understand why his counterpart seems to adore making changes that his patients didn't need or ask for.

Megatron: He doesn't like that his counterpart is so nice Especially to Starscream. he wants to fight his counterpart so very much simply because he hates the mercy SG megs shows others.

Starscream: He's grossed out by how king his counterpart can be. It weirds him out that SG Starscream has a better relationship with SG Megatron then he does with his universes Megatron.

Soundwave: Soundwave is surprised that his counterpart is so upbeat. He's pretty content that SG Soundwave is loyal to SG Megatron.

Shockwave: shockwave doesn't understand why SG Shockwave is so empathetic. He finds it hard to believe that SG Shockwave has lived as long as he has.

- Terry had come a long way from the person he once was during his Vietnam days. He's no longer the skinny, doe-eyed, somewhat innocent kid who came from a rich family all to prove to his father(and himself) that he is a man.

- He had an empire of his own now, dynatix industries, a nuclear waste disposal company that had been handed down to him by his father. He's done plenty of shady things, getting on the cover of the latest magazine and news papers was a regular thing for him. His physique was envied by men who were associated with him even. Perfectly sculpted face and an equally perfect charm to go with it.

- He had a playboy reputation with more money than most in the upper crust society. He's manipulative and will use any tactic he sees fit if needed. Everyone else is below him and he always had a good time toying with people. He's had his time with girls of every race, age , color, you name it. When Terry Silver wants something, he will definitely get it. So when he sets his sites on his beloved for the first time, he isn't bewildered immediately until he finds out more about them.

- If anything he sees them as the enemy at first, a stigma that's been around since the time he's been to Vietnam. He never forgot what happened there. Waking up in cold sweat after seeing his friend killed right infront of him, the bomb blasts and torture they all had gone through. A parting gift of the war.

- his beloved has certainly perked his interests though, whether they're apart of his upper crust society or simply a nobody there's definitely something about them that he can't seem to look past them. Maybe it's their features that is embedded in his head after he first saw them.

- Or it could be their characteristics or personality that's different from every woman he's ever been with. Maybe it's the way they walk, the way they talk, heck maybe it's the way they breathe. Terry will notice everything.

- Terry finds himself looking for beloved all the more. No amount of coke or bedding woman who even looks like them does the trick. He finds himself needing to find out everything about his beloved. He'd immediately thought of hiring an entire team of private investigators to find out every little thing about them. He wants to know their history, who is responsible for bringing his newly formed 'problem' into this world.

- He eventually sets on doing the job by himself. Stalking them, breaking in and entering into their home whilst they're in a deep sleep. He by hearted they're daily routine, he knows when they're in a deep sleep during the late hours of the night. He knows what they eat, what they wear, what hobbies they have, all down to what brand of shampoo they use. He utilizes anything that will help him understand what they are all about.

- He'd sometimes leave something behind in they're home, a dingy apartment unworthy of beloved in his eyes regardless of how well maintainedit is or not. Maybe a hundred dollar bill or even his own semen on their pillows after jerking off on their bed. He'd take something for himself too. Maybe a pair or two of beloved underwear suddenly goes missing.

- After everything he's come to know of beloved with them being none the wiser, he curates a persona of himself that fits all of beloved needs and wants ultimately becoming their dream man before he comes face to face with them again.

- Terry entraps beloved in his web afterwards. He makes sure they're smitten with him and never suspects a thing, giving them everything he knows they want from a partner gaining their trust over a short span of time. Once he's got them where he wants them he would reveal his true self. Ultimately hurting beloved so deeply because they are in fact the enemy. There's a price you have to pay for taking up so much of his time and consuming his mind.

- He thinks he's finally gotten what he wanted after breaking beloved completely but he still isn't able to move past them. It finally dawns upon him that he is in fact in love with beloved and no matter what he tells himself he cannot find anyone to replace them, no amount of coke or people who look like them.

- Terry sets about getting them back this time as himself. No matter where beloved goes he will find them. He will kidnap them if need be in the occasion of them denying everything he's offering them. He will help them see reason in time. He will go to any lengths to make sure beloved remains at his side.

- Stockholm syndrome will be in full swing. He erases the identity beloved once had as no one has the right to so much as know what beloved looks like without his permission. He'd estrange beloved from they're friends and family making them see how he's the only one they need.

- Preparations for the wedding will be in full swing. The wedding of the century. Everyone will know and will be ultimately shocked that playboy Terrence Silver has settled down. The entire world would know months in advance yet they would never see the actual ceremony regardless of the royal standard preparations that's been made. Terry's beloved is for his eyes only.

- The media only gets a single glimpse of beloved and they're rarely seen afterwards. Only when Terry deems it fit at some gala or event. Rest assured, no other woman ever crosses his mind again. He's fully consumed by beloved without them knowing the power they truly have on him. He'd go to any lengths to sure them his devotion too.

- beloved is the only one he'd trust with the truly gruesome parts of his life, through the Vietnam flashbacks where he'd sometimes need to hold them tightly the entire night or sometimes just their presence in the room at a distance. They've seen it all with him including the way he's beloved friend John Kreese had left him when things went down south. Beloved is the only thing that helps keep him grounded.

- Terry eventually starts a legacy of his own with beloved making sure that everything goes as he planned. Nothing is too much or unnecessary for his Silver empire.

Decades later he looks at himself in the bathroom mirror, thinking of how everything had suddenly took a turn in his life that one fateful day he'd set his eyes on beloved. His reflection stares back at him and next to it, ponytail stands with a smile on his face. I completely understand your rightful aversion to JKR and her horrendous views, but oh, selfishly I really wish you would continue to write Wolfstar. You write them so beautifully, and I think your art highlights, celebrates and encourages queer love stories like no other. Your work is certainly very important to me personally and helped me through some things in my personal life, and I'm truly sorry to hear you feel like you have to give it up because of her. She's taken so much from all of us - if writing Wolfstar brings you joy, why let her steal that from you too? (This is all said with the greatest love and admiration, of course)

honestly, that was why i KEPT writing wolfstar, as a big queer fuck you to jk for being such a fucking garbage can of a person. i kept writing them because sometimes, people told me the same thing you did, that my stories helped them/you through personal shit. i kept writing because i knew she could never take them away from us, not the wonderful myriad of versions that WE created of them.

and then i got shit for being over 30 and writing fanfic, being over 30 and writing HP fanfic, writing fanfic in general, writing HP fanfic when jk is such a piece of shit. so, unfortunately, it wasn't JUST jk's transphobic bullshit that made me shy away, it was other people.

i know this probably makes me sound childish (mean people on the internet were picking on me 😫) but i'm just a person with a regular job and i was doing it for fun. posting my words for fun. so when i started associating that activity with those mean people on the internet, it gave me more stress than anything else. i think i'm still easing back into writing, in general. long periods go where i don't write at all. i still struggle with analyzing everything i say or do.

but i'll never stop loving wolfstar. it was my biggest hyperfixation for so long, i don't think that will ever go away. and maybe i will get back into writing them, i'm not sure. if i do, it will be because of messages like yours that gave me a reason to remember why i started <3

The next scheduled Entrapdak Positivity Month when I get around to doing a prompt sheet, is due for mid January-mid February 2025.

The timing may seem weird but there's a method to the madness as those dates correspond with their birthdays Entrapta Jan 24th and Hordak Feb 18th (which was listed on the wiki but I can't find the link now)!

I wish we could see Daniel wear something other than blue in CK : / Blue is absolutely NOT his color and makes him look dull and washed out. Or rather, the shades of blue they put him in. Put our boy in jewel tones! Even though he is not tan like he was as a teenager, he is still olive-skinned, and his undertones are warm. Rich reds, scarlets, warm pinks, jewel-toned greens, blues and purples would suit him wonderfully. Mustard yellow! Rust and copper! Turquoise blue and emerald green! All great colors for him that will flatter his skin complexion and his dark brown hair and eyes. He is a gold-toned guy, not silver. Unless the type of silver is called Terry. Then that suits him well ;)

This seriously made me think about the color schemes and why they decided to do this (or may have, I'm just guessing). I agree Daniel doesn't really look good in the blue tones, really at all. He kind of blends into the background, and he's someone, given his feisty personality, needs to be front and center. But I assume the choice was made because of the white/blue association with Miyagi and Miyagi-Do? It contrasted with Cobra Kais brash red, black and yellow scheme so it needed to be softer to show that peaceful heir. That's just my guess. But it's run its course and Daniel just looks...bland.

You're absolutely right that he would be handsome in vibrant reds or greens. His skin tone is perfect for that. The first thought that came to mind was the outfit at the end of Karate Kid 2 when he fought Chozen. The ruby blazer! I always thought that outfit suited him so much better than some of the others (though it was a little big on him, but that's a given).

I hunted and searched for a picture of Daniel/Ralph in ANYTHING remotely green and turned up nothing. I'm so distraught. I feel like emerald would look amazing on him or just anything green in general. That it would bring out his eyes way more than anything blue ever would.

As far as gold/yellow, I did find one image, and he looks good. It suits his olive tone surprisingly well, and I honestly wouldn't have thought so. But I'm officially a believer.

As far as silver, well-

The color might not look good, but I agree Terry definitely looks good all over him. ;)

Hi...if you don't mind, can I ask something from SVSSS? What do you think are Shang Qinghua and Mobei-Jun’s greatest personality strengths and weaknesses? Why? What do you love about their dynamic? Sorry if you've answered these questions before.....Thanks.

Sorry for the delay! I first read this half asleep and was waiting to answer when I was more awake and then forgot but I really wanted to answer this

Shang Qinghua's biggest weakness is his self loathing

You get more perspective on that when you know Bingge was a self insert power fantasy and that Shen Qingqiu was meant to be very like Bingge as well.

The dude hates himself because of trauma and doesn't see anyway to change his miserable life partly because deep down he doesn't think he deserves a good one. That's why he's fundamentally unable to change the book on his own.

He hides his self loathing under a mask of not caring and only caring about himself (similar to a certain OG scum villian) because that's the only way he can live with what he did to survive and the people he hurt and his own hurt. By diminishing it

His greatest strength is he is actually extremely loyal. Like Binghe if you pour the slightest kindness on him he blossoms. Even when Mobei Jun was beating him three times a day he also protected him. And let's be fair how much did writing about Mobei save him in his first life? The only thing he created for himself.

The second greatest strength is his adaptability/flexibility. He can adapt and change to new circumstances like lightening (ha!). It served him well as an author who relied on his novel to eat and as Peak Lord of An Ding and surviving Cucumber's affect on the plot

Mobei Jun's biggest weakness by contrast is lack of adaptability. Yes he can adapt quickly in battle by using his shadows but he doesn't bother to learn about human customs until almost too late. He demands and doesn't know what to do when his demands aren't met.bHe is used to getting his way and just stone walls until he gets it. He's spoiled (by airplane) and it shows. He just moves in a metaphorical straight line and makes Shang Qinghua move shit out of his way

His greatest strength however much like Shang Qinghua is his unwavering loyalty. Once he is loyal he is loyal until you betray him. He is utterly devoted to Shang Qinghua and has been for decades. Unwilling to let anything happen to him.

His second biggest strength is well he is slow to adapt on his own he does pay attention and listen. He listens to Shang Qinghua tell Binghe that the way to a man's heart is being pathetic. He listens to his rant even as he yells back at the Ascension. He even picked up what Shang Qinghua was muttering to himself. He doesn't always understand or agree with Shang Qinghua but he listens to him.

What I love about their dynamic is the fact that it has the intensity that you would expect of a god and a king who have sworn undying loyalty to each other. But also has idiot to idiot communication AND old married couple vibes

They are intense but they have been together for decades but they were on completely different pages for most of it while also kinda being on the same page. They are the most unhealthy dynamic in the book and the most well adjusted ship in the book. They are such layered contradictions and I love how on the surface it's kinda fucked up because the power imbalance in that Mobei is a powerful demon king and Shang Qinghua is his servant BUT Shang Qinghua is literally this world's creator and made Mobei Jun specially as his ideal man so that kinda flips it

I also like that at the end of the Airplane extras you see Mobei Jun trying to be softer and kinder and give back to Shang Qinghua and you see Shang Qinghua being more confident and happy and asking for things. it shows how their dynamic can improve
