HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH!!!! sorry for the late post regarding the celebration, february was and is a tough month rn...

i wanted to draw and show my appreciation for both poc people out there as well as the diversity of jjba, especially for its time. i wanted to draw public/historical figures as well but as the month was nearing to an end, i decided to do it some other time [marsha p johnson, rosa parks and thomas sankara i love you]

and just because black history has a month assigned to it, doesn't mean we can't appreciate the things the black community has gone through and look up and admire them for their deeds.

i'm completely fascinated by their fighting spirit both centuries, decades ago and in modern day. i love you guys

I’ve discovered through constantly rambling about steel ball run to my partner that I really like the hypothetical dynamic between these two, and I really would have loved to see them interact more!! Araki drew them embracing like once and my gay little gummy brain was like “OH so their going steady!” And that’s where this comes from

Of course you can! Gyro is great friends with Johnny and Pocoloco. He’s going through a phase right now where he doesn’t like being around any girls. He thinks that they have germs! Gyro always waddles away when Lucy crawls towards him. Hopefully, he gets over it.

When playing with Johnny and Poco, the three love to be cowboys and race each other. They play it so much, even the other kids started joining!

The fact that Gyro and Johnny both think Pocoloco is this great strategist to do the things he does, but then we switch to Pocolocos’ pov and he’s just vibing on the words of his fortune teller.

Day 12:

Another great day at the daycare center. Today was a field day, so the kids got to play games and run around outside all day!

-Wamuu only likes green pacifiers. He kicks away any other color

-Risotto startled me four times! I need to tie a bell around him. He’s gotten into a habit of sneaking up on people to scare them

-Mariah cried when recess ended, but she calmed down once we gave her crayons to draw a cat

-Mikitaka is a light sleeper. Be extra silent when you walk by his crib, or he’ll cry his eyes out

-Pocoloco got to sit and relax in the big chair! Lucky!
