𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗬 𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗦
We’re back at it again with some random plot bunnies!! These ones are all for comedy movies or sitcoms that I particularly love - I probably won’t make any proper intro posts for them, but you’re all still welcome to send me any asks about them that you’d like!!
Cecelia Jane “CJ” Billings, she/her, The Hangover OC, Phil Wenneck ship, Megan Fox FC. Doug’s younger sister by one year who’s been hanging around the rest of the guys since they were all kids. Phil has been flirting with her for years, but she’s always rebuffed him because she thinks he’s just trying to get with her so he can say that he’s slept with his best friend’s sister (which is true at first, but he does eventually gain actual feelings for her). Doug’s best woman when he gets married in the first movie, so she’s there for the start of the Wolf Pack and all the subsequent adventures and chaos, and she and Phil slowly fall in love over the course of the trilogy. Very sarcastic and witty and tends toward being a pessimist, but also knows how to let loose and have fun. A travel writer in her normal life, and isn’t afraid to flaunt her knowledge of different places and cultures, which especially comes in useful during the Bangkok fiasco. Also bisexual, and sleeps with several men and women during the Wolf Pack’s escapades.
Elizabeth “Betty” Jones, she/her, Ghosts CBS (American version) OC, Hetty Woodstone ship, Lana Parilla FC. A former fifties housewife who was staying overnight at Woodstone Mansion after leaving her cheating husband, only to fall down the stairs and die the next morning and find a group of ghosts standing over her. Has mild gravity manipulation for her ghost power, but she can’t really do more than make small objects hover a few inches above their surfaces. Eventually reveals that she’s bisexual and was in love with her best friend from life, but remains very scared of relationships after her husband cheated on her. Eventually Sam and Isaac team up to set her up with Hetty after they realize the two of them have feelings for each other, and they become a really sweet couple. Very sweet and a bit of a mother hen since she never had children of her own (which was a big reason her bastard husband said he cheated on her), but also has an amazing dead-eyed disapproving look that is Trevor and Thor are deeply afraid of.
Rachel “Rocky” Drake, she/her, Ghosts CBS (American version) OC, Flower Montero ship, Bex Taylor-Klaus FC. Lead guitarist in a Riot Grrl band back in the 90’s, who were staying at Woodstone Mansion the night before a gig in the city when a chandelier fell on Rocky and killed her. Gained pyrokinesis as a ghost power, and loves using to mess with the candles in the mansion and help Thor play with the lights. The bane of Hetty’s existence since she’s basically the opposite of a “proper lady,” and spends most of her time whacking Trevor upside the head when he says something douchey. Very fierce and sarcastic and usually wearing a scowl, basically Flower’s opposite, but has had a crush on her since she first saw her, so of course Isaac, Alberta, and Sam team up to get them together.
Dorcas Brinley, she/her, Ghosts BBC (British version) OC, Julian Fawcett ship, Carey Mulligan FC. A baker who died in the 90’s during a wedding being held at Button House which she had made the desserts for, having been stabbed by a coworker who was actually meaning to kill someone else. An incredibly shy sweetheart of a lady who, as her ghost power, can make any Living who walks through her smell their favourite dessert. Very much an opposites-attract couple with Julian, but she brings out his softer side and he brings her out of her shell. Pretty withdrawn and doesn’t interact much with anyone else at first, but eventually becomes really good friends with Mary and Pat.
Beth Fawkes, she/her, The Office (American version) OC, poly Andy Bernard/Erin Hannon ship, Emily Bett Rickards FC. An accounting worker at Dunder Mifflin who’s been best friends with Oscar since she started her job. Doesn’t talk to her co-workers a lot, but is kind of friends with Pam and has a weird mother-daughter relationship with Meredith. Develops a crush on Andy quickly after he starts working at the office but resigns herself to pining when she realizes he has feelings for Erin, before she finds herself beginning for fall for Erin as well, and eventually they all get together. Very smart and quiet and rarely entertains any foolishness, but will never hesitate to help out anyone who needs it. Also Jim and Pam’s biggest shipper, and nearly throws a whole party when they finally get together.
Mariah Green, she/her, Friends OC, Phoebe Buffay ship, Reneé Rapp FC. Rachel’s youngest sister who becomes determined to make something of herself outside of her family’s money after Rachel runs away from her wedding, so she decides to try and make it on Broadway. Winds up meeting Joey through an audition and he introduces her to the gang, not realizing she’s Rachel’s sister and being very embarrassed once he realizes she is. Actually does wind up getting a few minor stage roles and briefly moves in with Phoebe after the other woman offers, during which they fall in love. An amazing singer who’s very bold and outspoken and determined, but can also be impulsive and has trouble with thinking before she speaks. She and Rachel don’t always get along as sisters, but they do generally have a good relationship, and she winds up becoming really good friends with Joey and Chandler.
Graham Pryor, he/him, Friends OC, Chandler Bing ship, Matthew Grey Gubler FC. A new part-time worker at Central Perk who’s also in school to get a degree in literature. Very interested in the classics and historic book manuscripts, and winds up bonding with Ross because of that beyond being friends with Rachel because of work. Chandler has a full-on bi crises because of him and has to work on overcoming his internalized homophobia from what happened with his dad, but they get there eventually and become a really sweet couple. Graham’s kind of awkward, but incredibly intelligent, and very loyal and sweet. Joey likes to teasingly call him and Ross the Nerd Squad, which usually earns him a swat upside the head from Monica.
Elizabeth “Betsy” Harrington, she/her, The Nice Guys OC, Jackson Healy ship, Rose Byrne FC. Friends with Jackson since their early twenties and had only slept with him once since before the events of the movie, but they both claim they’ve moved on since and now Betsy is just the go-between with Jackson and his clients, getting everyone who approaches her to make sure they won’t turn him into the police. Neither of them ever properly moved on, though, and over the course of the whole case they begin to really fall back in love and end the movie together for real. Betsy is hard as a rock, sarcastic and quick-witted and with no time for nonsense, but she also has a soft spot for kids and is completely loving and loyal to those she really cares about, and can read people within only a few minutes of knowing them. Becomes really good but weird friends with Holland, and basically becomes an aunt to his daughter along with Jackson.
Elizabeth “Betty” Halloran, she/her, M*A*S*H OC, Radar O’Reilly ship, Lola Tung FC. The daughter of a Chinese immigrant and an American general, she really wants to help in the war effort once it kicks off but has no experience in nursing or being a clerk. Nevertheless, her father, who’s never really been there for his wife and daughter and just wants Betty to stop bugging him, assigns her as another clerk to the 4077th, knowing Henry is too intimidated by the brass to argue. Most of the unit doesn’t really like or trust her much at first - especially Frank, for obvious reasons - but Henry comes to see her as another daughter and before long most of the camp sees her as their niece or little sister, and Margaret even takes her under her wing. Very sweet, cheerful, and friendly, which can lead others to think she’s a bit airheaded, but she’s actually very clever and makes a very good clerk, and while she and Radar sort of fumble their way through having crushes on each other, they do become a very sweet couple. (Hawkeye also gives her dad a very good telling-off at one point, which is very fun.)
Tagging the OC besties: @auxiliarydetective, @luucypevensie, @manyfandomocs, @ginevrastilinski-ocs, @dancingsunflowers-ocs (also gonna tag @eddysocs, @ginger-grimm, and @come-along-pond for the Ghosts content, and @juliaswickcrs for the Friends content).

The Red Means I Love You
Amber Freeman x Reader
Word Count: 2.8k
Summary: Ghostface is running around and you don't know who to trust. Amber reassures you that things will be okay.
Warnings: Typical canon violence with descriptions of blood. Please read with caution! Follows the events of Scream V. Also, Angst!
A/N: guysss... I did a thing... I'll just let you read and find out.
Title + fic inspired by Madds Buckley's song, The Red Means I Love You
If someone had told you a few days ago that you’d have to watch your close friend take a bullet to the head, you’d have slapped them across the face and added them to Mindy’s ever-growing list of potential future ghostface suspects.
In retrospect, you suppose you were naive for thinking that you’d make it through Woodsboro High without falling victim to someone deciding to take up the infamous killer’s mantle. You should’ve suspected that it would happen eventually, especially considering that three of your best friends were related to survivors from the years prior. That fact alone painted a bright red target on your back and it was only a matter of time until an eight-inch hunting knife sunk into you because of it.
Did some higher deity sew the stars together to seal the fate of you and your friends? Were you destined to die at the hands of the ghost that haunted the little town you’d lived in all your life? Some part of you thinks that yes, this was meant to happen, because a tiny voice in your head always figured the friend group you’d become a part of was doomed from the day it began to form.
Everyone else in Woodsboro had it easy, their parents were present and the killings that plagued the town only existed for them in the form of the notorious Stab franchise. The same couldn’t be said for your friends.
Put a handful of Woodsboro High’s most traumatized students into one group and what do you get? The perfect cast for the next series of killings. Mindy tells you as much when you and the rest of your friends are clustered together in her living room, trying to identify who among you was responsible for brutally attacking the others left and right.
As if being friends with people who are related to the survivors wasn’t bad enough, you learn from Tara’s older sister that she is connected to Billy Loomis, the original ghostface himself. More than being connected, Sam’s his daughter. You have half a mind to notify your parents to start picking out your tombstone now.
You barely listen as accusations fly around the room. How could it be possible that you were in the same room as the killer right now, when you’ve known everyone here your whole life? You were having a hard time processing the fact that one of the kids you’d played in the sandbox with in elementary school had grown up to become someone so sinister.
Distantly, you hear Mindy conclude that Sam must be the killer, that it made the most sense because of who her father was. She storms out of the room and after a beat, you stand up on shaky legs and murmur a goodbye to the remaining occupants of the Meeks-Martin living room. Your head was reeling and you needed to get away or you’d break down and lose your last semblance of sanity.
If there is a God that exists, they must hate you, because you break down anyways. Just outside the house, you’re hunched over, a hand clutched desperately at your rapidly rising chest. Despite your best efforts, you’re unable to chase away the dread and terror that have nestled in and made a home in your torso.
Too wrapped up in trying to calm your irregular breathing, you don’t hear the familiar clunk of boots swiftly making their way towards you.
Though your vision is blurred, you’ve spent enough time around Amber to recognize her presence almost instantly. She’s bent over you concernedly, and you think she’s speaking to you but you can’t hear her over the accelerated pounding of your heart that has arisen from the lack of proper oxygen intake.
Her body firmly encompasses your own and your senses are overtaken with everything Amber. If you were able to breathe, you would’ve sighed at the feeling of security that blanketed over you.
Amber’s hands grasp yours and she presses your joined hands onto her chest, where her heart steadily thumps beneath. At the feeling of it, you will your own heart to match its rhythm. It takes a while for it to slow down but once it does, you faintly become aware of her sweet voice reminding you to breathe slowly, in and out, in and out.
She looks relieved when you finally descend back to reality. “There you go, baby. You’re okay. I’m here.”
You throw your arms around her and sob into the embrace, struggling to ignore the burning in your chest. She rubs your back and shushes you quietly.
“Amber, I can’t do this. I’m scared.”
She presses a chaste kiss to your forehead and pulls you in closer, resting her chin on the top of your head. “We’re gonna be okay.”
You mumble into her chest, “How can you be so sure?”
Practically smothered in her embrace, you remain completely unaware of the ominous look that has blossomed in the dark brown eyes that you love so much.
“You trust me, don’t you?”
You nod, albeit a bit hesitantly.
“Good. I’m going to protect you, I won’t let anything happen to us.”
It isn’t lost on you that just as there is with everyone else, there’s a slim possibility that Amber could be the killer. But out of everyone, you know her the best. Ever since she had asked you out, all shy and nervous and very un-Amber Freeman like, the two of you had been inseparable. She weaseled her way into your everyday thoughts and in turn, you became the center of warmth that thawed her previously cold heart. No one could deny that you and Amber balanced each other out perfectly. For the first time in your life, you found someone you could trust enough to fall deeply and irrevocably in love with. If you could trust Amber with such an intimate and fundamental piece of your soul, you could trust that she wouldn’t be silently plotting your death, right?
Wrong.
Just like Liv’s skull cavity, your heart shatters at the abrupt finality of Amber’s bullet.
Chaos erupts at the spray of Liv’s blood and the crash of her still-warm body hitting the ground. Sam and Richie scatter as Tara knocks Amber’s next shot off course.
The only thing you can think to do is run, so you do. You clamber up the stairs and dive into the hall closet. You clamp a hand over your mouth to muffle the pitiful sounds desperately trying to slip past your lips.
You feel utterly broken, like the piece of your soul that you’d given to Amber was cruelly snatched out of your body and crushed in her murderous grasp. You want nothing more than to scream and wail until you yell yourself hoarse, but you can’t give up your hiding spot. As much as you’re sure that the pain of betrayal outweighs any cut from the blood-stained knife, you don’t want to find out if there’s any truth to the comparison.
You hear two sets of feet making their way up the stairs, one stomping heavily and the other flailing uselessly. You aren’t one-hundred percent sure, but you think the pained whimpers you’re hearing belong to Tara. Which means Amber was likely the one accompanying her.
At the thought of your girlfriend, you recoil further into the closet. You can feel your whole body shaking in fear.
After a few more long minutes, you can hear the familiar creak of Amber’s boots on the hardwood floor. She’s calling out your name and you press your hand harder against your mouth to completely silence the sound of your breathing.
Her search becomes more frantic and the clunking of her boots begins to pick up speed. You reach around blindly in search of anything you can use to fend her off.
Just as you tighten your grip around what you think might be an umbrella, the closet door flies open. You swing with all your might, but Amber moves quicker, grabbing the umbrella and disarming you.
She quirks an eyebrow and chuckles at your failed attempt to hit her. She motions for you to stand.
“Come on, down to the kitchen we go.”
You make no move to get up, paralyzed at the sight of her donning the ghostface robes.
She groans, “I can’t have you ruining the plan. Let’s go.”
Her commanding tone does nothing to move you. You’re rooted to the spot in fear, wondering what fate is waiting for you down in the kitchen.
Amber growls and you flinch backwards as she steps into the closet, towering over your seated form.
“You’re being such a pain in the ass.”
Her hands wrap tightly around your waist as hoists you up and tosses you over her shoulder. You struggle futility, but there’s no chance you can escape the strong arm wound snugly around your midsection.
Amber carries you easily down the stairs and you wriggle around faster, knowing from your frequent visits to the house that you’re almost across the threshold that leads into the kitchen.
You’re placed onto the ground and firmly shoved to the other side of the island. Before you can even think to move, the steel barrel of a gun is pressed into your forehead. It’s Richie on the other end of it, and only then do you realize that Sam is laid out on the ground, a hand pressed into her side, where blood is trickling out despite her efforts to stop it. She looks up at you with sorrow and terror and you’re sure that your expression reflects hers like a mirror.
Amber takes the knife that Richie offers to her and makes her way to a different corner of the kitchen. She jumps gleefully, and if things weren’t so fucked up you might’ve found the sight endearing.
Though the gun blocks out most of your vision, you see two other women in the kitchen.
Gale Weathers and Sidney Prescott. Shit, even they managed to get trapped in this nightmare.
Richie, seemingly pissed that you aren’t giving him your full attention, grips your jaw with more than enough force to leave a bruise. Your resulting moan of pain is insignificant to him.
“Leave her alone!” Sidney yells out and Amber’s knife presses threateningly into her throat, swiftly silencing her.
Richie laughs menacingly, “Sid, when are you gonna finally realize you aren’t in control here?”
He turns towards you and frowns angrily.
“You know if it were up to me, you’d have been dead at the start of this thing.”
A glob of his spit lands on your cheek and the gun is pushed further into your forehead, the force practically moving you backwards.
You’re scared, the most afraid you’ve ever been in your life. Your hands are trembling and you stutter, completely unable to come up with the necessary words to plead helplessly for your life.
“Pathetic,” Richie growls out. He looks in Amber’s direction, “I don’t know what you saw in her honey.”
“She usually has a lot more fire in her.”
You meet her gaze for a second. Amber’s eyes are nearly black, pupils blown wide with what must be psychotic pleasure.
You open your mouth to finally say something, but the sudden smack of the gun across your face shuts you up. You cry out and lift your hands to your face instinctually. Your head is pulsing at the unexpected pain.
While Amber’s distracted with Richie’s assault on you, Sidney makes a grab for a knife sitting on the countertop.
Her actions don’t go unnoticed. Amber reacts with the speed of a demon and plunges her knife into Sidney’s gut. Gale yells out as Sidney crumples to the ground.
With both Sidney and Gale momentarily incapacitated, Richie knocks you backwards, sending you carelessly stumbling back and straight into Amber’s arms. He turns towards Sam, while Amber pins you against the counter.
“Get rid of her Amber, we need to start staging the bodies. Fast baby, we don’t have much time.”
She hums, not bothering to verbally acknowledge him. You shiver as your eyes lock together, hers still full of straight mania.
Her arm lifts up and she moves slowly, tracing the blade against the smooth skin of your face. You try not to gag at the coppery smell of blood that is being carelessly smeared across your face.
She smiles softly at you, creating a confusing juxtaposition with the wild expression that fills her eyes.
Amber leans in to whisper almost lovingly in your ear, “I always knew you’d look so pretty covered in blood, baby.”
You can’t stop the tears from leaking out of your eyes. You’re so distraught, it’s nearly impossible to think straight with how overwhelmed you are. How could this Amber be the same Amber that had admitted to being nervous the first time she told you she loved you?
“Amber, please.” You begged brokenly, hoping the girl you loved so dearly was still somewhere inside the maniac that stands in front of you.
Her gaze softens just a hair and you nearly cheer at the glimpse of your Amber.
“I’m sorry. You know I’d keep you around if I could.”
The relief exits your body. Your heart drops deep into your chest at the words.
“You said you’d protect me.” You feel desperate, there had to be something you could say to snap Amber out of this state.
She pouts and brushes a strand of your hair behind your ear. “I did. Richie wanted you to be the opening kill, but I stopped that from happening.”
The special smile that she always saved just for you spread across her face, “I even convinced him to leave you to me tonight. I’ll be the last person you see, won’t that be nice?”
Your jaw trembles with the newfound knowledge. Amber spared you, but only to prolong your life so you’d die by her hand. Your resolve finally breaks, and you are fully encased in dread.
In a strange mirroring of the day’s earlier events, you begin weeping loudly. Amber’s arms wrap around you in an attempt to comfort you.
She deposits a kiss onto the top of your head.
“I know you don’t understand it, but I’m doing this because I love you.”
Her arms tighten around you and you’re suddenly blindsided by excruciating pain. Amber’s knife is slowly pushed deeper and deeper into your body, your insides twist around at the intrusion.
As you yell out in pain, she shushes and gently praises you, repeatedly whispering how much she loves you.
She rips the knife out of your gut, just to harshly plunge it back in once, twice, and a third time. You feel sick at the squelching that sounds out each time the knife enters your stomach.
Blood dribbles out of your mouth as you groan in pain.
Hazily, you notice that she’s covered in your blood. Your vision is darkening and you feel yourself begin to dwindle in and out of consciousness.
Amber takes note of this and leans closer, her lips nearly touching yours.
“You did so good for me, love. I’ll make sure they cast someone beautiful to play you in the movie.”
With a final whispered confession of love, Amber places a gentle series of kisses to your bloodied lips. She stabs you once more, and lowers your body carefully to the ground as she pulls the knife out one last time.
You lay there, unable to move even if you wanted to. You stare up at the ceiling, it spins around and around and around.
Your ears are ringing. If you could think clearly, you reckon you’d wonder what you did wrong to end up in this situation. You don’t think there’s any possibility for things to have ended differently. Fate was cruel and unforgiving, but at this point you have no choice but to lie in the bed that it has made for you.
The pain is gone, replaced with the silent weight of nothingness. You feel yourself drifting away, and you welcome the feeling. Maybe your next life would be kinder to you.
Unfortunately for you, your peace never comes.
Instead, you find yourself opening your eyes disorientedly. You let out a sharp hiss at the blinding white lights that glare back at you.
Once you’ve adjusted to the light, you finally make out that there are a couple figures crowding around you.
“Wha-”
It hurts to talk, as a matter of fact, everything hurts.
“Alright, alright you’re okay. My name’s Dr. Ford. You’re gonna be in a lot of pain for a while, so let’s take it easy.”
You stare back at the man in disbelief.
Somehow, despite all the odds, you survived.
A/N: ta da!! I'm actually planning a part 2 to this that follows our dear reader through the events of scream vi, so stay tuned! Heads up, it won't actively be about an Amber x R relationship cuz... well you know :'(

I meant to ask this yesterday but what role would you give the yttd cast in a horror movie?
Sara Chidouin - Sara is the final girl who you know going into the film is going to survive. She's the face of all the posters and promotional material, and you aren't shocked when she escapes at the end…until the sequel.
Joe Tazuna - Like in the game, Joe's role is the final girl's best friend. He ALMOST escapes with Sara, only to be killed meters from freedom. It's sad, but it needed to happen so the final girl could go ape-shit.
Gin Ibushi - Gin is the cute family pet that you're terrified is going to die eventually. Hopefully he is fine.
Keiji Shinogi - Keiji is the useless cop. The final girl runs up to him, saying a killer is chasing her, and he goes, "Well jolly gee, nothing I can do about that. Try to find a random seventeen-year-old to help you."
More Undercut
Alice Yabusame - Alice is the "slapstick victim" that dies a ridiculous death. The scene might not even mean to come off as funny, but the death scene is so weirdly acted/directed/written that it's more amusing than scary.
Reko Yabusame - Reko is the random celebrity cameo that makes you check IMDB to make sure that the actor you think is in this movie is actually in this movie.
Nao Egokoro - Nao is the surprise final girl. It seemed like someone else would take that role, and Nao would just be a throwaway victim, but instead, she defeats the monster and rides off heroically into the sunset. Much to the audience's surprise.
Kazumi Mishima - Mishima is the side character who has a random amount of knowledge for the simple reason that he's a professor. Like the final girl finds him and he goes "Why yes! I do know about that random murder in 1890 that is driving this films plot!" and that is his only purpose in the plot.
Q-taro Burgerberg - Q-Taro is the person who leaves someone to die at the start of the film for his survival, only to die in a heroic sacrifice that lets the final girl escape the main villain.
Kai Satou - Kai is the red-herring. The movie wants you to believe that he's the monster/killer so badly it becomes clear that there's going to be a twist.
Kanna Kizuchi - Kanna is the kid who gets kidnapped in the final act so the protagonist has a reason why they have to stay behind looking for her instead of escaping.
Shin Tsukimi - Shin is not in the movie because he left the second things started getting weird.
Dolls
Ranmaru Kageyama - Ranmaru is the twist killer who was a getting a weird amount of screentime despite not seeming THAT important to the narrative.
Naomichi Kurumada - Naomichi is the guy who tries to take a leader role over the group as they try to survive, only to get overconfident and die trying to fight a ghost.
Anzu Kinashi - Anzu is that victim that trips and instead of getting up goes "NO! NO! DON'T KILL ME!" as if the serial killer has a higher chance of stopping if she's screaming on the ground rather than if she just got back up and ran.
Mai Tsurugi - Mai is the person that you're convinced is going to be the final girl but then she's killed really unexpectedly. She stabs the killer and runs, but then he teleports in front of her and kills her.
Shunsuke Hayasaka - Shunsuke is the random guy killed because the film didn't feel like the kill count was high enough. He has no name or personality, he's just there to give blood.
Hinako Mishuku - She's the unnerving child that you aren't surprised to learn is possessed by a demon.

i will give Mystique credit for one thing. she is right about the clan culture regarding mates and kits being.. rigid?
like she is definitely a bit too reckless/dismissive when it comes to having babies, but it's not necessarily bad to have casual stance on relationships and intimacy. clan cats from the go assuming that two cats having kits means they are totally in love and married, and if one of them is caught nuzzling another cat or getting someone else entirely pregnant then they are cheater who deserves to die and go to hell, is.. well. weird. not far different from irl views on relationships and having children of course, but weird when applied to cats, who aren't exactly most monogamous species.
obviously there is still the rigidity of the borders and codes at play. if cat A got three other cats in the same clan preggers, it will absolutely thin out the unrelated to related cats ratio. but besides that, the assumption 'having children = married' isn't.. very healthy, even if it's silly kitty cats and a game that loves to generate stuff out of blue.
I'm curious where you got the impression that RisingClan believes that two cats having kits means they're in love and married. They definitely don't believe that sleeping around sends you to hell. I feel like you're projecting something else onto my work because that's not how I've depicted my Clans at all.
The rigidity the Clans have around relationships relies entirely on Loyalty and making sure that there are no dangerous conflicts of interest. With Smokyrose and Ghost, knowing Smoky people assumed she would want her partner to be involved in her life and so expected him to join the Clan but after he didn't and she cut ties with him no one shamed her for that relationship at all. With Russetfrond and Mystique, the problem comes from her being a prisoner of war. The City Cats have essentially become a 5th Clan and so him having a relationship with the sister of that 'Clan's' leader is a serious conflict of interest. If you're talking about Sparrowpaw wanting her and Russetfrond to make up and be happy together, that's just him being a little bit of a romantic and seeing two cats getting along well suddenly not speaking to each other and wanting them to be friends again.
So yeah, to be clear, the Clans don't believe any of that. Two cats within a Clan can have kittens without having to have any kind of relationship. The thing they don't like is when one parent has loyalties to a different group that might cause problems in the future. That's it.

Morrotober Day 5
Prompt: Temporal Displacement
Summary: A possible ending to “A Wish to be Great.” A teenage Morro returns with Kai to the present.
(Read this first if you want the context. Thank you ao3 user Books_4nd_C4tS for the idea.)
Morro watches as Kai grips the weapon of time in his hands, staring at it like it contains all the answers to his problem. Maybe it does.
“So this is it?” He asks as he watches Kai come to a decision. He refuses to feel hurt, to feel bitter. He’s known that Kai would leave him– the guy’s been saying that the minute Morro met him! And yet, Morro still feels the sting of betrayal.
Kai had made Morro want to be good. To be a Ninja that would help Ninjago, and not become a cursed spirit that only harmed it. Kai had told him his future, barely told him how to prevent his future, and was now abandoning Morro to the wolves– and Wu. That wasn’t fair.
Kai looks at Morro, “I guess so,” he says. Morro nods in silent resignment, frowning as he turns away.
“Unless…” Kai muses, sounding thoughtful. Morro turns back around, shoving down the hope rising in his chest. Maybe Kai has changed his mind and decided to stay after all!
“Yeah?”
“I mean the timeline is already skewed up,” Kai shrugs, “Do you want to come with me?”
Morro blinks. Then he blinks again. He hadn’t thought of that possibility. Was that even allowed?
Then an even worse realization enters his mind. “You want me to come with you to a place and time where everyone knew me as an evil ghost?” He clarifies, and Kai, the bastard, bursts into laughter.
“Just thinking about their faces is enough to send me into an early grave.”
Morro frowns, “So why are you suggesting it? And stop laughing,” he snaps, annoyed at the older man.
“Sorry, sorry,” Kai says, readjusting his sling to wipe a stray tear from his face. “Look kid, I’m just giving you an option. Whatever you do, you’re going to be great and I trust that you’ll do the right thing.”
Morro feels a lump growing in his throat and he swallows.“But coming with you to the future?” He asks. “Won’t your friends hate me?”
He hates that his voice cracks, and hates that he cares about these people that he’s never met before. But Kai stops laughing and looks at Morro, his face turning completely serious.
“They might at first. But you haven’t done anything wrong. Once we explain and give them time to process, I’m sure they’ll come around.”
Morro sincerely doubts that, but he still finds himself nodding along. “Okay,” he says, clearing his throat. “I’ll come with you.”
Kai’s face doesn’t change, “Are you sure this is what you want?” He asks, and Morro shrugs, swallowing back his fear.
“If I stay here, I don’t know if I can be good.” I don’t know if I’ll die and end up in the Cursed Realm. “At least with you, I think I can learn,” he says, refusing to meet Kai’s eyes. Maybe he was scared to confront Wu. Maybe he doesn’t want to be alone.
He doesn’t know why he doesn’t want to stay in his time, but Morro wants to come with Kai, the one person who never seemed to care who Morro was supposed to be. Or even what he will be.
The future Master of Fire stares at him for a long moment, before shrugging. “If you’re sure,” he says and holds out the weapon. “Come hold this. Let’s see if the timeline’s intact.”
Morro does what he says, and his vision is filled with an electric green. When he blinks, he’s no longer in the forest underneath the mountain, with its tall trees and melting snow. He’s in a… swamp? A swampy place, filled with vines, and too many small orange snakes for Morro’s liking.
“Where are we?” He mutters, and Kai claps a hand on his shoulder.
“Morro,” he says, just as a group of Ninja appear in the distance, a vibrant green ninja in front. “Welcome to the future.”

some ethan fluff? I wanna say. idk I'll just write some stuff and keep going with that
"Oh my god, I don't wanna die before I become a famous pornstar!" Y/n joked. Right now they were all seated in front of Mindy as she was listing off the suspects
"Not the time for jokes right now y/n" Sam pointed out. Y/n smirked
"Who said I was joking?" She raised her brows
Ethan coughed and started blushing pink, y/n just laughed and let Mindy continue on. The truth is she's scared, scared of dying at such a young age before she's gotten to do anything. She already lost her v-card so she didn't care about that, she wanted to make something meaningful of her life before she goes
"Y/n are you listening?" Anika asked while nudging her a little. She nodded her head quickly
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" she took a breath. Anika looked to everyone worriedly. She turned back to y/n
"Y/n it's ok if you're scared, we're all scared-" Anika tried to help but y/n just couldn't
"No, please. I'm ok. I have to go, see you guys at home" She's been living with Chad and Ethan after she got kicked out of her parents
Y/n walked off fast trying to organize and make sense of her thoughts. A killer was coming after her and her friends, what else could she do besides get on with her day until the killer shows up
She walked home and went directly to her room. She didn't mean to but as soon as she got to her room she broke down. She's usually the one that's always making a joke out of everything but she couldn't do it right now. She started crying hard to the point where she had to clutch her chest and heave very quick breaths
"Y/n!" She didn't know which one it was but she didn't care. Ethan and Chad are her best friends. Chad's like a brother and ethan well, she likes him
They ran to her room and saw her. Her eyes had tears in them, she couldn't see. They rand and hugged her, laying her head on their chest
"It's ok, its ok y/n. I got you" she held on tightly to their arm as if they'll fly away. Slowly as he stroked her hair she calmed down
Now they were just standing there while he stroked her hair and she sniffles every once in a while. She lifted her head and wiped her tears
She looked up and saw ethan, he looked very worried. She smiled at him
"Ethan the knight here for the rescue" she joked. He couldn't stop the worried look on his face from showing. Her smile faltered
"Yeah I wouldn't be so convinced either" she sniffles again chuckling again. She sits on her bed and he follows
"You can talk to me y/n. We were worried about you earlier" she sighed and stared at the floor until she looked him in the eyes
"I don't want to die yet. I haven't done anything, I haven't lived. I've never had a vacation, I've never had an actual career, I've never done something important. I've never made an impact" y/n was overwhelmed. She heard how their last group of friends had died and they were just in high school.
Y/n wasn't ready for her life to cone to an end when she hasn't done things she wanted to achieve
"Y/n were all here for you, I'm here for you. I won't let anything happen to you, I promise" he turned his body to her. She gave a weak smile
"And I would love that gesture if it didn't mean the killer getting to you too. I don't want anything to happen to you ethan" she started tearing up again. He gave her a loving smile
"Nothings gonna happen to me y/n" he chuckled and hugged her
"It better not or I'll haunt your ghost" she mumbled into his chest. She felt the vibrations of his laughter
"I'm sure you will"
She pulled back from the hug and looked to his face. She looked from his eyes to his lips before going back to his eyes. She started to lean in and so did he. They leaned in so close they can feels each other's breaths. Ethan hesitated but leaned in and closed the gap
Their lips moved together in sync. The kiss was filled with love. She held his cheek as she deepened the kiss, bringing him closer. Eventually they pulled apart for air, looking each other in the eyes
"I really like you ethan" y/n whispered to him. He smiled
"I really like you too y/n" she smiled

Hello from the hallowoods is really good at paralels between characters
the hfth brainrot is going strong and I need to take a bit to rant about how good all of the parralels between all of the characters are because oh my good mx wellman you truly outdid yourself on them
Riot-The Misters R&W-Moth: all three spent their entire time since the black rain in bunkers, only to be forced to leave
Riot-Clara-Moth: all three spent their time isolated in their respective safe houses with their families, only for something to go terribly wrong and them being forced to flee. They lose their parents, but after leaving all found a new mentor/father figure to teach them how to become strong enough to survive
Clara-Olivier: kinda obvious basicaly everybody references how clara is slowly becoming the new olivier and in the season 3 finale they make it even more clear by saying that blackletter didnt even remove olivier from the plan. also both dated riot
Walt-Bern: both were survivors in the woods but while walt used compassion and understanding, bern initialy refused to believe either diggory or olivier should be allowed to survive
Soloman-Irene: both were masters of the dark arts who attempted to reanimate the dead
The Resting Place crew-The Grand Crossroads crew: a group of a renagade devil, a powerful creature animated by the black rains, and a woman who takes her power from another indiscribably who acts as a lancer and supporter of the devil
The Countess-The Count: kinda obvious dont think I need to explain this one
Diggory-Cindy: connection to rizwana and dedication to stopping the end of the world
Diggory-Mort: deceased members of Rizwanas doomed expedition who in the end have to choose which one of them will die saving the world
Diggory-Creep: beings who have stolen the memories of Rizwanas expedition mixed with the black water
Friday-Penny: both have luck based powers that cause them to remain trapped and isolated being tormented for years
Nikignik-Ethel: both communicate stories through dreams, but LEM uses it to talk about herself and tell her own story, while Nik barely ever talks about it, especialy in season 1
Walt&Riot-Winona&Alena: young person with older mentor with a special sword
Ray-Gale-Bill: Moths 3 father figures, each of which take a different approach towards raising moth
Buck&Rick-Hector&Jonah: another pretty simple one
Jonah-Faceless King-Rat King: three kings of the end with three different perspectives on what that means for them
Marolmar-Nikignik-Xizikxiz: watch starcrossed gods please even if you have never watched a single episode of the show before I am begging you its so good
Al-Percy: the two ghosts, both only have one friend who can ever see them and carries their instrument around and a bad single parent
Ms Wicker-Indrid: both mothers who join the church of the hallowed name and have a chance to save their son from the spring service
Riot-Clementine: I really should not need to explain this one
I could go on for literal hours but literaly you can choose any two characters and their stories will parralel each other in some way and let you see something new/unique about how each handles their situation in contrast to the other.
If you have not watched HFTH please do so it is genuinely the best podcast if not the best story I have ever seen(or heard? its a podcast so im not sure what proper terminolodgy would be)

I'm curious, based on the scenes from the trailers, how would YOU have written Restoration? I think, personally, I would've had Sarge be unconscious for a couple days, forcing Simmons to step up as leader without offing such a good character. I also would've kept Doc alive and had Donut, Lopez, Sheila, and Sister be part of things more.
Oh, don't curse me with that, I'm having a hard enough time with all the thoughts for my OWN story-line... OK, but honestly? There is a versions that would be "perfect for me" (and that may as well be my own story-line), and a version that would maybe be what this final season was, but just a little different-
-Imagine it actually picks up immediately after Church's final message. Like, we hear his voice again, see the same visuals, but instead of fading to black as Epsilon blinks out, there is a brief pause... and everything goes into MOTION. Tucker and the rest of the characters start fighting, and we see the whole thing!
-When the plot actually starts, nobody is together. Similar to Donut's suggestion of taking a break from each other in 17, they all went their separate ways, but when problems start to pop up, they need to regroup (Doc isn't dead, Donut is part of things)
-If Sarge has to die (in my perfect version, he doesn't, but if he HAS to), he's injured first on the Staff of Charon, OR he's been injured and out of the main focus for a bit, and he doesn't die until near the end (still gets buried in Blood Gulch, but now everybody is there). If he dies at the beginning, there would be a lot of flash-backs to some of his lines through the series, being all significant and such
-Tucker keeping the armor and being the new "Meta" can go a few different ways, actually (and 19 had the potential for all of it, it just kinda didn't push it hard enough in any of these directions)
-One version, after the fight is over, Tucker stands back from the others as he realizes Church is totally gone... and orange flames flicker in the reflection of his helmet visor. @leonardalphachurch brought up a good concept of how Sigma probably wouldn't just FORCE Tucker to do anything, but instead convince him that this is totally a good idea (and perhaps driving a wedge between Tucker and his other friends). This is a "villain" who thinks they're right (but Tucker isn't just totally "evil"). Several times, he would defeat the others, have the opportunity to kill them, but he doesn't. The AI aren't torturing him, but as time goes on, their reasoning becomes less rational, and it is a struggle to remember why they're all fighting so hard for this goal, but they can't STOP
-Epsilon Deconstructing means the Fragments lost their memories... and so did Tucker. This can go hand in had with him and the Fragments getting too focused on the only thing they "know", finding Church, being "complete". It can also roll into a DIFFERENT kind of manipulation, with a totally different antagonist intending to turn Tucker and the AI into a new murder machine (it could be Hargrove, it could the UNSC, could be somebody else. they just recognize that Tucker is an incredible fighter and the AI are very capable, so they're manipulating the situation)
-Slightly with that same vibe, the suit was always a trap; Hargrove figured either Felix of Locus would put it on, and rigged the thing to take control and follow programmed orders. The AI are trapped in it too, forced to help fight, but don't want to actually kill anybody. ALSO, if you want Felix in there; he asked Price about the whole brain-scanning stuff, and thought he'd get himself some kind of "do-over" if he had a back-up copy of his brain. So, the REAL manipulative AI is, in fact, FELIX (when the original Felix died, his suit scanned his brain one last time and sent the information to the suit, where it waited to activate). In this version, Locus is more involved, he has to help stop the computer ghost of his toxic yaoi boyfriend
-After the final fight, Tucker leaves the group to go find Junior, and when the others finally see him again, he seems like a "bad guy", attacking different UNSC soldiers. He keeps AVOIDING his friends, not because he hates them, but he specifically doesn't want them involved in this mess. The government is calling Tucker an evil villain, but he's actually just been saving different alien planets, forgotten outposts, and people like the prisoners who have been hurt by the UNSC (Tucker gets a Temple arc, except he's like... actually successful. somewhere, in another dimension, Temple is sooooo mad and jealous). Somebody tries to stop Tucker with some weird tower, but it just activates Great Destroyer Mode. The rest of his friends need to stop him without killing him
-In all versions, everybody has an eventual show-down with Tucker and the AI, Tex comes back (because that was the BEST PART), and the only reason they need to fight him and remove the AI is so everything can kind of re-set. Tucker needs to remember himself, and the AI need to re-charge and calm down (if there is a Felix AI, he gets deleted. bye, hater). Donut is the one who pulls off the big epic throw with the AI Unit; he's got an ARM (also, one way or another, a conversation between the O'Malley who is only part of Doc, and the Omega AI. it would just be fun to hear Omega say something like "Nice to see you found your back-bone")
-We still have Wash talking to people he misses, but it's the other Freelancers (and maybe a hint of the implication that, if things hadn't been so traumatic during their first meeting, this is something he could have shared with Epsilon; memories)
-Tucker gets one final recorded message from Church, so they can have a decent good-bye. Within the AI unit, Church reunites with Tex, but the Fragments are there too, everybody is finally together again. They don't destroy it; instead, Caboose gives it to Carolina, telling her "When they're ready to wake up, you can see your family again)
-In either Sarge Dies scenario, Simmons gets VERY UPSET. He either loses his temper entirely, or he gets so quiet and cold, it is very unnerving. Grif has to snap him out of it. After all the big problems settle down, and Grif gets ready to go back home with Kai, Simmons tells him good-bye... and then starts following him after a short pause. What else would he do? (I have a dozen different ways I could imagine an emotional/romantic moment, but in all seriousness? it just isn't realistic for them to go separate ways. Grif and Simmons are stuck together for all eternity. I HAVE SPOKEN)
-Happy family reunion with Tucker and Junior! Everybody else finds their own path in life, they know they can still reach out to each other again, but they all have different options now (Wash wants to go track down the Triplets, and Niner is gonna give him a lift)
There is... a LOT of other stuff, but I can't fit it all in. Anyway, some kind of "better" version of Meta Tucker that isn't just him being tortured/mind-controlled, and he gets his kid back, more of an emotional impact when it comes to losing Sarge, Grif and Simmons are stuck like glue forever, Donut and Doc get to be there... yeah

Hello and welcome to Day 6 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies"
Today, I wanna explore a Mo Dao Zu Shi fic idea that started because of another fic.
I started reading "Cultivation Chat Group - Scum Villain Edition" by shorimochi on AO3 (link here) a week ago. I have never heard of "Cultivation Chat Group" as a novel at all before this, so I checked the novel updates synopsis before I read the fic.
My brain, my wonderful but annoying brain, just went, "Ya know, this is the type of bullshit Wei Wuxian would get himself into in a Modern AU where Cultivation is some secret/legend" after reading the synopsis.
From there, it turned into a Modern AU + College AU + Cultivation is a secret that normal people don't know about AU + Wei Wuxian can see Ghosts AU + Reicarnation without memory (yet) (on Wei Wuxian's side) AU (Basically, everyone is an immortal in the chat group but Wei Wuxian, who is still a normal-ish human)
So, I present to you:
"Cultivation Chat Group - Wei Wuxian Edition" (title in working)
(Attempt at) Summary:
Wei Ying has always been a very... weird child. Despite being in the top students in his class, he is almost always absent-minded and not that interested in studying. Despite being a charming and sociable child, he always seems to keep himself back from forming closer bonds with his classmates. Despite being a seemingly well-adjusted child, many would see him talking and laughing at the air - which did sprout some spooky rumors about him.
Wei Ying, however, would say that he is quite content with his life - thank you very much. Sure, he sometimes sees things that many can't (and most times, he helps the little souls? spirits? pass on peacefully even if it did cause him troubles), but it's not that bad.
He is currently in his 1st year of university and aiming for a foreign language degree. He has friends (who have yet to be driven away by his "weird behavior," as others have told him). All in all, life is good.
And then, one day, he gets an invitation to a chat group. A chat group that he only intended to enter just to tell them that whoever sent the invitation got the wrong person. But he misses the timing... several times over.
Wei Ying gives up and decides that even if he is in this chat group, since they will realize soon they got the wrong person, he will just not interact at all.
(It's not like he wants to interact with them either. Especially since they seem to be into some role play thing with "cultivation", "cores"," and "corpses" (which wtf!?? Should he call the police?) and "spiritual weapons."
.... Yeah, no. He is definitely never interacting with these crazy people.)
"Let's just ignore this, and it will go away."
Final last words, Wei Ying.
Some small details:
WWX's name in the chat will be "Yiling Laozu," which is a silly nickname he uses on sites so that his friends don't recognize him. The name comes from "Yiling," which is the name of the street he lived on when he was young. "Laozu" is just something that WWX felt it was right to add - don't ask him why, he couldn't tell you.
WWX takes classes for 3 languages: Chinese, English, and Korean (he had to deal with spirits of tourists who didn't know English or Chinese and only Korean.. it was a headache and a half). WWX wants to learn as many languages as possible (at least to conversation level) so that he won't have to do miming or drawings to communicate with the spirits. (Just because you die in China, it doesn't mean you can fluently speak chinese in death - unfortunately)
He fully believes everyone in the chat group has some screws loose.
But he still ends up interacting with them (irl) because he found 4 children (more like 3 kids with manners and 1 with a short fuse) wandering around in the city while loudly talking about their "cultivation mission" or something. WWX doesn't want the kids to be attacked by some drunk bastard on the street because they are spewing bullshit so he decides to become their babysitter for a day. ("It's gonna be easy." - yeah about that)
What WWX is not aware of is that the "Junior Quartet" he met were not the first people from the chat group he met in real life. Some of those members attend his university and share classes with him.
The Reincarnation AU think I mentioned basically means "WWX has lived once before, which is why a lot of the cultivation stuff he reads in the chat he feel like he understands. In his previous life, WWX became something akin to an omen of death since he was always seen controlling resentful energy. He was never part of the Jiang Clan but grew up in Yiling and ended up staying at the Burial Grounds later on. He and LWJ crossed blades a lot in that life since they were on opposite sides when it came to the correct path of cultivation: LWJ said resentful energy is bad; WWX said resentful energy is natural and still energy and that if it wasn't a natural energy of the world, nature and heaven itself would revolt against it. In the end, WWX died from an ambush led by the other clans against him since he was seen as a heretic."
Just to be sure I mention it: in his past life WWX was never called "Yiling Laozu" so no one in the chat group knows who he is supposed to be (yet).
LWJ mourned WWX's death. Despite going down that path, WWX never killed without reason. LWJ met him a few times before he realized that he was using resentment in his cultivation, so LWJ saw a WWX who was incredibly kind, warm, and, surprisingly, childish. When he learned of his cultivation, LWJ was merely worried for his health.
This is why when LWJ sees Wei Ying again in the modern time, he is very much looking to help and protect Wei Ying this time around.
LWJ, seeing Wei Ying again at University: You are just as beautiful as the day I lost you.
WWX: What?
LWJ: What?
This is about all I have for this one right now. So, what do you guys think?
Honestly, this, for me, was fun to think about. The act of bringing cultivation into the modern world where technology reigns supreme is very funny since I can tell you right now Lan Qiren doesn't know how to operate a phone at all, and I feel like car rides make him nauseous.
Well, I hope you enjoyed my ramblings and also please check out both the fic that started all this and the novel if you haven't yet. (They are both good and soo funny).
Till next time,
- TooManyPlotBunnies-Send Help

Sharp Tongued
Amy (my OC) catches ear of the other ghost's treatment of Humphrey in the past and takes matters into her own hands...
(TW: Threats of violence, Anger, Amy being feral to protect her dad friend, The ghosts getting slandered so beware all of them get shit😂👍🏻, Cursive language)
"I mean- don't you ever want to spend time with anyone other than me? I'm boring as hell" Amy questioned, gazing toward the sunlit window. The head of the Tudor man rested on her lap, her fingers gently scratched through his hair, a gesture she'd never been able to shake; call it habit, call it a stim?
"Well, truth be told, you're the nicest with me" Humphrey mused, a slight chuckle echoed the end of his sentence.
"Really? Not even Kitty?" Sheer confusion swamped Amy's words, unable to comprehend any of this situation.
"Oh no, not Kitty. She's a dear little thing, asside from accidentally kicking me from time to time- uh, by accident of course..." Humphrey emphasized.
A twinge of uncomfortableness struck at Amy's heart at the thought of Humphrey's head being discarded and left on the floor like a rock; it seemed barely any ghost in the house paid him any mind.
"And- no one else, for real? Like ANYONE?" Amy bit her tongue and retracted her fingers from his hair.
"Well, I DO like being able to join in, but it usually comes at a cost. I'm either used for something or left behind again while the conversation leads elsewhere in the house" Humphrey explained, he tried his hardest to mask the slight hint on sadness in his voice as he admitted the unfortunate truth.
Amy's brows lowered, her eyes flicking over towards the door to the passageway.
"Used for something?" Amy asked, more to herself than the head.
"Yeah. Maybe one day I'm on guard duty or the next I'm a football" He joked, his eyes flicking up to try and meet the girl's gaze.
"And who does that?... "
In the Common Room, the group chatted amongst each other. They blissfully ignored the livings who booked in and checked out, the staff typing away at the front desk keyboards, and the golfers seeking shelter from the hot sun.
The novelty of new livings to watch had dwindled down to being just another everyday occurrence; though there was much excitement in watching them go about their day, the group still favoured food club and 'what would you wear today?' club.
"I still reckon Ryan would've gotten a birdie if he'd stuck to using his putter" Pat reasoned.
"No no, it was his aim, that's his problem. Not enough accuracy in the swing" The Captain commented as he tucked his stick beneath his arm.
"Why not just kick ball into little hole?" Robin questioned with a sharp itch to the back of his ear.
"That sort of defeats the purpose of the game, mate" Pat replied, bouncing on his heels. The caveman disregarded Pat's answer with a dismissive wave of his wrist before he reclined further back into the chair.
A whistful sigh cut the group short as they turned their attention to Thomas who sat idle by the window.
"You alright, mate?" Pat asked, his eyes shifting amongst the others, deciding whether or not he'd just metaphorically dug his own grave deeper by asking the poet what troubled him.
The romantic averted his gaze from the window and towards Pat.
"I heard her crying again today. Weeping so dearly. To think... That fool of a man with whom she showered with her affections would dismiss her so coldly... " Thomas lilted in sorrow. He had become beguiled with a woman who had been staying at the hotel for a few days now, and had caught ear of her boyfriend cheating on her.
"So coldly..." Thomas repeated, his brow arching as his eyes fought back from watering. He brought his bloodied cuff up to his mouth and blinked a few times.
"I'm going to collect myself, and maybe prepare a poem should she die here..." Thomas said, an exaggerated crack in his voice led the others to believe it was just another one of his over-dramatics.
As Thomas neared the doodway to the stairs, Amy blocked his path, Humphrey's head tucked under her arm. Her face held determination and mild fury. Thomas halted quickly and straightened himself.
"Oh! Evening, Amy. I hoped you wouldn't see me in such a state of-"
"Your poems are crap!"
A shrill and flabbergasted shriek fell from the poet's lips as he clutched at his face, his eyes buldged wider as he started at the girl in shock. The sound caused the group to spin around and notice Amy's presence.
"THAT'S for kicking Humphrey in the head all those times!" Amy spat, tightening her arm around Humphrey's head, who's eyes were now glued onto Thomas.
"What's going on here? What's the reason for all this hostility?" The Captain asked as he stepped around the sofas towards Amy who walked past Thomas who still stared in horror.
Amy's eye twitched. She looked amongst the seats for the next ghost who had done Humphrey dirty in the past. Her eyes scanned each of them until she spotted Julian sat opposite Robin by the fireplace. She paced towards him before The Captain blocked her path.
"Did you hear me, young lady? What's the meaning of this?" He demanded.
He was caught of guard by Amy's finger pointing up under his chin, threatening to jab her finger into his throat harshly.
"You better keep your petty little demands to a minimum, or I'll shove that stick up your nose..." Amy threatened, overdoing the amount of fury in her eyes, although she did mean business in this moment.
The Captain reeled back and stuttered, brushing off his front and seemingly searching for a comeback as Amy shoved past him and towards Julian who now fiddled with his tie in trepidation.
"I know about your little volleyball game with Humphrey's head. If I hear it happen again, there's four inches of solid platform heel on the end of my foot and it'll be right up the bollocks for you, mate!" Amy growled, holding onto her exaggerated glare.
Julian shuffled back in his seat and stuttered something incoherent. A gruff chuckle caused Amy's eyes to flick to the right. Robin seemed to be finding the situation amusing and tried to hide his smile behind his hand.
"Oh, your turn then?" Amy said, tilting her head slightly. Humphrey's eyes screwed shut and he clenched his teeth as Amy stood before the caveman who now looked between the girl and Julian in concern.
"... No?" Robin said, hiding the tremble in his voice.
"You-" Amy paused, she couldn't recall anything Humphrey mentioned that was caused by Robin specifically, apart from one thing.
"Y-you scared him when he died!" Amy bent down towards Robin, her eyes wide; she really had no dirt on Robin in this situation, but she didn't want to let her defensive mask slip just yet, there was still much to say.
Amy righted herself and turned towards Fanny who gawked at her in shock.
"And you..." Amy spat, leaning her weight on one leg. Under her arm, Humphrey mouthed a brief 'sorry' as Fanny brushed at her knees.
"He's like half your age, AND you didn't ask permission with your little... games" Amy cringed, remembering the grizzly story of Fanny and Humphrey's body's little fling.
Fanny gasped in horror and straightened her back.
"Excuse me!?" She blurted as Amy paced towards the door, Humphrey's head still clutched under her arm. As she reached the doorway, Amy spun around and pointed to all of them who watched her in shock; the usually mild and quiet girl reduced to a mindless bundle of thuggery and insults.
"And this one goes out to all of you.." She blurted. Humphrey practically bit his lip, hoping that it wouldn't cut the group too deeply.
"I know about your little incident with that Alison woman. Yeah. The crazy bitch who tried to take her money? You guys tried to stop her, but it was technically Humphrey who warned Alison about the- fraud business! But did you invite him to your little dinner party? No you bloody well didn't!" Amy shouted, that one hit closer to home than she would've thought.
The group seemed taken aback to recall that night. They didn't even bring him to the table that night. None of them even bothered to go back and pick up his discarded head after he'd been kicked away. How long HAD be been left out there for?
Even The Captain cleared his throat and lowered his gaze. The rest of the group shared his guilt. Amy nodded and scoffed.
"That's what I thought..." She sneered as she ascended the stairs with Humphrey's head who didn't dare say a word.
"She's right..." Pat whimpered, adjusting his glasses.
The group mumbled in agreement and sat in silence for a while, thinking back on all the times Humphrey had been absent for any occasions the rest of them gathered as a group.
Upstairs, Amy paced back and forth in front of Humphrey who's head rested against a cushion on a chair, watching her go back and forth waving her hands and cracking her knuckles.
"I mean- who do they think they are sometimes? They can't just- ABANDON you ALL the time! What if I hadn't died? Would you still be under a table or outside?!" Amy ranted.
"Poppet?..."
"I'm actually surprised at Kitty, she's one of my best mates aside from Silver, and even SHE didn't go find you?"
"P-Poppet?.."
"I swear, sometimes I'd love to just- punch them all in the mouth- maybe not Kitty or Robin, but- MOST of them-"
"Amy"
Amy paused and turned to face the head who looked at her with a straight and serious expression. She scuffed her boot on the floorboards and jammed her hands into the front pocket of her hoodie.
"That's enough" Humphrey asserted. He began to regret telling Amy any of those things, for her sake.
"Sorry. It's just- I thought they were better than that..." Amy said quietly, a heavy sigh leaving her lungs.
"Don't get yourself wound up over me, I'm just a talking head at this point" Humphrey mused, though his assertive tone still trickled through his words.
Amy averted her gaze lower, feeling guilty for putting Humphrey through all of that little fiasco downstairs.
"But if I don't stand up for you then they'll-"
"That's not your job, Poppet. You do enough for me as it is" Humphrey smiled.
Amy was about to combat him with more reasons for her to defend him, but all that came was a soft sigh and a shake of her head.
Her brow creased as she wandered over to a small shair by the wall, dropping herself down onto it. Humphrey's eyes followed her every move, watching to make sure she had calmed down.
"I just don't understand why they do it to you. They either neglect you or hurt you..." There was a pinch of hate behind Amy's words as she flicked her eyes towards the closed door.
If Humphrey could shrug right now, he would.
"I dunno either. Perhaps they just miss being able to touch things- you know, carry things around, play. I don't mind the throwing and the catching, it's just the kicking and the whacking and the hair dangling that bothers me a bit..." Humphrey said truthfully.
"Well THEY'LL each be kicked and whacked where something else dangles if they carry on, for real..." Amy growled"
Humphrey tutted and rose his brows, flashing her an assertive sideways glare; he loved Amy dearly, but this tone on her really made her someone he didn't recognize. He admired her spark, but he wanted to bring back her softness.
Amy shrugged and adjusted her useless headphones, for a brief second she felt as though she were back in the head master's office at school for misbehaving.
"Hey?.." His voice gathered Amy's attention again as she glanced back up at him from her chair.
Humphrey gave her a warm smile and a blink.
"Thank you"

I haven’t done a major tv watching update since last June. It almost feels overwhelming at this point but I really love writing down my thoughts. So I’ve decided to break it up into two posts. This post will be all of the shows I watched from June through December 2022.
finished:
The Uncanny Counter - A misfit teen is randomly chosen to join a group of demon hunters. A supernatural, found family, action adventure with heart.
Age of Youth (Hello My Twenties!) - An off-campus house for female college students as they navigate school, work, love, friendship and potential murder. Interesting characters but the plot is as messy as some of their rooms.
Link: Eat, Kill, Love - A chef develops a mysterious psychic connection with a young woman who enters his life causing him to feel all her turbulent emotions as he searches for his long lost twin sister. Another show that mixes love and murder. I love the main couple and all the food porn as the chef preps to open a new restaurant. Less happy about the murder plotline.
Abyss - I hate watched this for Ahn Hyo Seop. I’m a completionist. lol This is my lowest-rated kdrama so far.
Hotel Del Luna - A woman with a tragic past is magically tied to hotel for ghost on their way to the afterlife until a young man is summoned to fulfill his father’s debt to help her run the hotel and possibly set her free. A gender-swapped Beauty and the Beast retelling with ghosts.
I’m Not a Robot - A young chaebol with an allergy to humans is interested in financing a humanoid robot but, after a malfunction with the prototype, the scientist in charge recruits his ex-girlfriend to pose as the robot until it’s fixed. Enemies to lovers and star-crossed lovers as their fates align to heal their wounds and let their love blossom. I’ve watched it twice so far.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo - An autistic attorney fresh out of school joins her first law firm as she struggles to pursue her career and unexpectedly falls in love. Cute and heartwarming.
Café Minamdang - A former profiler becomes a shaman to investigate his friend’s death and runs into his friend’s sister who is searching for the truth herself. Even Seo In Guk couldn’t save this mess.
Alchemy of Souls - An assassin magically swaps bodies to stay alive and is secretly recruited to train a young mage and unlock his powers. This show is a Top 3 Kdrama for me. I LOVE IT. Fantasy, Romance, Humor, Action, Symbolism. A great ensemble cast but Lee Jae Wook really carries this drama. The ride or die main ship is everything.
While You Were Sleeping - Three people’s fates are tied together as they try to stop the bad premonitions they have from happening. It got a little cumbersome every time a new bad potential thing was revealed but I love the cast: Lee Jong Suk, Bae Suzy, Jung Hae In.
Never Have I Ever (S3) - This show is still firing on all cylinders and I’m here for the ride. Can’t wait for the finale season.
Pinocchio - A boy who lost his family in a tragedy gets adopted into a family that has a girl his own age who can’t lie. They grow up to be reporters to uncover the truth of everyday events and their simmering feelings for each other. I really enjoyed the found family, mystery and romance here.
Reacher - A lone wolf stumbles into a small town murder that hits closer to home that he could expect. A fun mystery and action jaunt through the countryside.
Dali and the Cocky Prince - A boisterous uncultured business man with alot of bravado crosses paths with a reserved art gallery director looking for investors. A sweet romance blossoms and the meaning of real family is explored. There was a lot of great comedy and romance but also some gut wrenching drama.
Little Women - Three sisters get entangled in a web of conspiracy surrounding a secret organization. There were some interesting things here but I was mostly bored.
Flower of Evil - A man who may be a serial killer and his wife who’s investigating the decades old murders as the truth slowly unravels their relationship. Sadly, this wasn’t for me. There were a few things that were interesting but again mostly bored. Also, when we got to the end I had the epiphany that I’ve seen this story before and I have: Fringe Season 3 Episode 2 is basically the whole main plot in one episode.
The Law Cafe - Two longtime but estranged friends end up using their law degrees to help everyday folks and go up against a big corporation together as they finally allow the sparks between them to ignite. A really cute romance with a few good cases but the overall show is a bit lacking.
W: Two Worlds - Fiction and reality begin to blend as the daughter of a comic book author is sucked into her father’s popular comic and is thrust into the life of the main character, a handsome adventurous CEO. An interesting premise with excellent chemistry between the leads, but gets repetitive in the second half and stunts the growth of our leads.
Love Between Fairy and Devil - My first cdrama and already one of my favorite shows ever! It’s literally a fairy tale with amazing bickering enemy to lovers leads, gorgeous costumes, sets and vfx, and a fantastic story with great foreshadowing, parallels and symbolism that pays off. I’m currently on my 5th rewatch. I regret nothing.
Star Trek: Picard (S1 & S2) - While I’m happy to see the og characters back on my screen and get to know a few new ones, I had major but differing issues for both of these seasons of Picard.
Bad Prosecutor - While I really like Do Kyung Soo and Lee Se Hee, the story was rather flat. Even the action couldn’t save it.
What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim - I now understand the hype for Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young. They are fantastic in their roles of chaebol and his assistant falling in love. I really enjoyed it but there was something I couldn’t put my finger on that held me back from loving it.
Kiss Goblin - I wanted to watch Bae In Hyuk in something while I was waiting for new episodes of Cheer Up. This cute web series was the perfect little show to get my fix.
Do You Like Brahms? - Park Eun Bin and Kim Min Jae star as a pair of introverted classical musicians with their own set of problems that find light in each other to grow in confidence as their relationship progresses. This is a very low-key show but it kept my attention throughout.
Fanletter, Please - A cute romcom mini-series about a widower, his ailing daughter, and the actress the daughter adores, who comes to visit the hospital where she’s being treated.
Cheer Up - If Bring It On was slightly more realistic and set in college but upped the spirit stick curse to a “someone will die” slasher movie prophecy. I loved the team spirit and the romance between the plucky yet reluctant new recruit and the practical dreamer Team Captain. There were a few things I wasn’t crazy about but I had a fun time.
May I Help You - If Lee Junyoung is in it, I will eventually watch it. lol This is about a young woman who gets the power to talk with the dead in the funeral parlor she works in to help them fix something they didn’t accomplish in their life. She keeps crossing path with a young man who works for an errand service company. As they fall in love, past secrets and present heartbreaks unfold putting their relationship to the test. I had a really good time until the last few episodes but it did end well.
Summer Strike - Another love story for introverts. A depressed city dweller decides to sell all her possessions that don’t fit in her backpack and travel the country. She lands in a small town, where she begins to heal as she’s slowly creates a new family for herself and falls in love with the local reclusive librarian who is a former math wiz, played by Im Siwan. This one was tough at times but very sweet too. Plus a great soundtrack. I had ‘Color’ by Sunnie on repeat.
Love is for Suckers - A variety show producer convinces her longtime friend to be a contestant on the dating show she’s producing right as they start to realize they are in deeply in love with each other. This had so much potential and started off strong but quickly became a mess when the dating show began filming. The romance between chef and the cartoonist kinda ended up stealing the show.

FOR THE HOPE OF IT ALL
Chapter 4: The Three Broomsticks
The conversation with Ominis lingered in my mind throughout the entire day. After classes I decide I need to talk to Sebastian. I need to get things off my chest. He is most likely in the Slytherin common room or the library. I decide to start with the library since I know it's one of the places that brings him comfort and for some reason I sense he needs just that.
I enter the massive library. Bookshelves climbing each and every wall all the way up to the roof. For someone who loves books, like Sebastian, I can really see why it is a place of comfort and peace. The atmosphere in the library is calming. I see a group of Ravenclaw students studying. I shrug my shoulders and think that only a Ravenclaw would be studying the first day of the semester. I see Amit amongst them. He looks incredibly focused and does not notice me. I wander through the library and try to see Sebastian, but he is nowhere to be found. A ghost flies by and I nod out of politeness. I make my way to the common room, but he is not there either. I see Imelda, and even though I despise her she might have knowledge of Sebastian's whereabouts.
''How was quidditch camp?'' I ask her politely since I overheard her talking about a summer quidditch camp.
''It was absolutely marvelous!'' She looks ecstatic that I asked her. ''I think I have a good shot at becoming quidditch captain this year actually. Have you thought about trying out for the team?''
Sports were never really my thing in muggle school, but I did however have some good skills on the broomstick. Even though the thought did not fully appeal to me, it's too soon to say no.
''I havent't really thought about it,'' I admit. ''Do you really think I'd be a good fit for the team?''
''Hear me out,'' Imelda leans in and lowers her voice. ''No one has ever beaten me in my practice exercises, and we both know that I am the best flyer at school. I think you could make the cut.''
''Well, I'm happy to hear. I need to think about it, then.'' I say and smile to her. ''Have you seen Sebastian?''
''As a matter of fact, I have.'' She says and her voice is back in her normal pitch. ''However, I won't tell you unless you tell me what is going on between the two of you. I saw some sparks flying last year, but they seemed to die before the O.W.L.s... People, I mean, I am wondering.''
Her face looks devious and I really do not want to share the story with her. But knowing Imelda, she won't give me an answer unless I provide her with at least a crumble of what she wants.
''I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we are just friends. And had a small falling out when we got caught up in the stress of the O.W.L.s,'' I say, hoping she does not see my lie.
''Y/n,'' Imelda leans in again. ''I know a lie when I hear one. But I am also kind enough to understand that you don't want to tell me.'' She looks bitter and her facial expressions almost scare me. ''He was heading to Hogsmeade. Alone. However, next time you need a favour from me - Don't come empty handed.''
''Thank you, Imelda.'' I say and I try my very best to look grateful. Stupid witch, I think. Expecting strangers to spill their secrets to her.
I head out to the clocktower courtyard and mount my broom. It's gonna be a quick fly to Hogsmeade. As I take off and leave the castle behind me I see a thestral flying in the sky, just over the forbidden forest. I lean forward, increasing the speed of the broom and feel the chilly, autumn air stroking my cheeks. My hands are almost numb, since I forgot gloves. I land just outside of Hogsmeade and walk the last bit, thinking that he must be at the Three Bromsticks. I walk rapidly and greet Sirona in the bar. On the top floor I see him, sitting in a corner with a book in his hand. I walk up to him and put a hand on his shoulder.
''What?'' He asks angrily before he turns around and sees me. ''Oh. It's you.'' His voice softens and he puts the book down. The best healing plants I read on the front.
''Still looking for a cure?'' I nod towards the book and sit myself down on the seat next to him. He nods.
''I will never stop looking for a cure.'' He looks sad. ''I keep thinking that if I find a cure, she may forgive me. I know it's silly, because how could she ever forgive me after what I did?''
There and then, I want to put his hands in mine to comfort him. But I know that by doing so and not having only friendly intentions, I might risk our friendship. And it is not a gamble I am willing to risk.
''You need to give her time, it's still very fresh.'' I say in my most sympathetic voice. ''It hasn't even been six months. It's gonna take some time for her wounds to heal.''
''I guess you're right. And I need to make amends with others, too.'' He says. His eyes are fixated on the small glass of fire whiskey.
''Really?'' I ask. Genuinely wondering who he is referring to.
''Let me buy you a drink.'' He insists. ''Assuming you chased me here, it's quite rude of me to not even offer you something to drink. What do you want?''
''A butterbeer, thank you.'' I say. He stands up and makes his way down the stairs.
I can hear him and Sirona talking. He sounds amused, laughing at whatever she is saying. A short moment after I see him coming back up the stairs with one glass of butterbeer in each hand. He gives me a large smile.
''One butterbeer for the new girl.'' He puts it down next to me on the table. He knows that I despise that nickname, but I don't say anything. ''So, travelling all around Europe this summer?''
''Yeah,'' I nod. ''Like I said, Paris was best by far. The rest is kind of a blur. Have you ever been there?''
''No, I barely leave Feldcroft.'' He admits, looking a bit ashamed. ''I did, however, read about Paris after you wrote that you went there.'' He looks into my eyes. ''Let me tell you, there is not much to be found about that city in wizard books. I had to travel quite far to get my hands on a muggle book about it.''
''Really?'' I ask, genuinely surprised he went that far to look up what I wrote him about. ''You could just have asked me to bring you one.''
''I haven't really been in a good state since, you know, so I didn't want to ask any favours of you.'' He looks down again. When he looks sad, he looks small. Almost childish. Not in a bad way, but more in an innocent kind of way. He looks like the kind of person you could never lay a hand on to hurt them.
''After what we went through I assumed we could ask the other one for favours.'' I say with resistance to his statement.
''You're right. Like I said, I haven't been myself since that. I did bad things to many people whom I care about. That does something to your mind.''
''I understand,'' I say with compassion. It's almost like I forget that I got hurt by the fire, too. ''Well, I hope in the future you can come to me.''
''I did enjoy reading about Paris.'' Sebastian changes the subject really fast. I assume I hit a sensitive spot. ''I would love to see it someday.''
''Oh, it's absolutely marvellous!'' I say with excitement, some foam from the butterbeer still on my upper lip. ''It's a stunning city with great architecture and the atmosphere is just... Romantic.''
He looks into my eyes and smiles. His hand is approaching my face and he strokes his thumb on my upper lip to remove the foam that I was too excited to notice. It feels almost electric, his thumb on my lip. I want to hold still and keep it like that for eternity, but my reflexes pull me away.
''Just some foam.'' He says, breaking his eye contact and looking slightly embarrassed. ''What I found most exciting about Paris is how many things happened to the city, almost breaking down completely from the revolution and uprisings. Just to find some peace and building it all back up.'' He looks around the room. We are alone. ''It just brings me some hope, if you understand.''
I nod, because I really do understand.
''I think you should talk to Ominis.'' I say. Now it's me changing the subject abruptly.
''I doubt he wants to.'' Sebastian looks a bit upset. ''I want to give him some time and space. And when the timing is right, he can let me know.''
''It does not always work like that.'' I tilt my head and look at him with empathy. ''You hurt him, Sebastian. And yes, he needs time. But first and foremost, he needs an apology. And then you can give him some more space.''
Sebastian nods and finishes his butterbeer.
''I owe you an apology, too.'' He says hesitantly. His voice is barely audible. ''For everything.''
''Thank you, Sebastian.'' I smile at him and without even thinking about it, my hand reaches for his. I put my hand on top of his and start stroking it. ''I have already forgiven you.''
''You are one of the best people I have ever met and I would never put you through that again.'' He squeezes my hand and once again, I get that electric feeling.
We decide it's time to head back to the castle. It's really cold, especially without gloves and scarf. I tell Sebastian that I have my broom with me, but we decide to walk. We walk through the dark and foggy September night, letting the frost bite our cheeks. I start shivering and Sebastian looks at me.
''Merlin's beard! You do not even have a scarf with you?!'' He asks with an upset tone. ''Here, take this.''
Before I can talk back he has taken his scarf off and puts it around my neck.
''Much better.'' He says proudly and grins at me. ''Now we just need to get you to the castle before you turn into an icicle.''
We walk slowly to the castle, despite the biting cold. Because right in this moment, with the tiny raindrops and stars in the night sky, everything feels peaceful.

A Mother's love
A/N: I’m back and I wanted to write/ expand more about Okoye and Riri. The timeline is endgame than after. I am going to be real idk if Ayo or Aneka got dusted so we’re going to pretend they didn’t because I said so.
Tag Gang: @mal-urameshi @xblackreader @pantherheart @somethingcleaverandwhitty @karimwillia @elleaitch22 @therosehost @purple-nugget
Summary: Okoye deals with the aftermath of Endgame.
“Mama,” Okoye’s eyes open. Child size Riri laid on top of her stomach “Why didn’t you stop him?”
Okoye’s eyes widen in fright, “W-what?”
Riri’s eyebrows scrunched together, “You promised to keep the bad guys away and you didn’t!”
“Are you a liar, Umama?” Riri’s eyes looked deep into Okoye’s soul.
“No, my sweet girl,” Okoye gasped out as she wrapped her arms around her child. Riri remand as she pushes back against her mother, “Then how come I die?”
Okoye took a sharp breath as she woke up again. Her beads were still playing home videos, and her eyes were stuck on Riri smiling up, missing a her two front teeth at the camera, “I love you ,mama.”
Okoye quickly turns off the beads, she has been having the same nightmare for the past months now, it is to be expected after all. Okoye was one of many powerful generals leading and protecting Wakanda. Everyone knows the job she leads tends to give her scars, whether physical or mental.
Okoye knew she was getting worse, she felt it in her bones. Okoye rolled on her side. She could hear the hustle of the golden city. It took a while for the city and Wakanda to move on from that eventful day. Avengers they called themself and yet they didn’t avenge anything, Okoye’s thoughts soured as she thought about the group of outsiders. Everyone lost someone that day after the Snap. Nobody is certain if the people who were snapped are still alive or dead. Okoye remembers praying to Bast to at least let her little girl be alive. Just this once let her job actually benefit her for once. Of all the jobs, responsibilities, and fancy titles Okoye had, her being a mother was one she took pride in.
Her darling Riri.
Her small gem.
Her baby didn’t make it. Okoye’s stomach curled into itself. The thought that her little girl was dusted, probably confused and scared. Okoye could barley look at herself as her thoughts continued run through the possibility of Riri being in pain. Okoye got out of her bed. As she crept out her eyes caught a glance of Riri’s door. Just down the hall Riri’s room was closed. Okoye couldn’t bare the thought of just seeing her daughter’s room.
“How are you doing ‘Ko?” Aneka asked. Okoye just finished a meeting with the council and the queen to try to figure out a way to keep the production of food with so few farmers now.
Okoye looked at her, “I’m fine. Just trying to find solutions with so few hands is hard.”
Aneka gave her a look as the pair continued to walk, “That’s not what I was referring to. How are you mentally?”
Okoye looked at the ground not really sure what to say. She knew why Aneka was here, the same way she knew Ayo subtly started making her lunches. They could see the cracks in her armor. If Okoye wasn’t so depressed she would be proud that her friends knew her that well.
“It’s okay to ask for the day off tomorrow, y’know?” Aneka started as she made light scrapes noise with her spear. Just like her Riri, Aenka could help but move around. “Everyone needs a break, especially what happened.”
Okoye frown at that statement, “What do you mean?”
Aneka turns to look at her sister, “Riri’s birthday.”
“I understand that tomorrow is Riri’s birthday,” Okoye said. She knew the date, it was like it crept around her like a ghost not ready to leave this plane of existence.
“I’m just worried about you. You’re becoming too thin, it’s like you’re wasting away,” Aneka whispered to her. She placed her hands on Okoye’s, “I know you’re grieving but don’t leave us out. Don’t act like you don’t have no one to help you through it.”
Okoye bit her lip to stop herself from crying, “Alright.”
That night in Okoye’s apartment, she gazed in the direction of her daughter’s room.
Still closed persevering whatever is left of her darling daughter. Okoye without realizing it twisted the knob to her daughter’s door.
As she flicked on light, she was greeted with bubblegum pink, which she once wasn’t a fan of the color now she adored. Riri’s bed lay askew, a thin quilt blanket twisted barely hanging on the bed. Riri’s baby blanket. Okoye shook as she took the small fabric in her arms. Pressing on her face as she remember being heavily pregnant and couldn’t do anything so she wanted to create a baby blanket like her mother did for her. A toddler-size Riri comes to mind toddling over to her once she wakes up. The blanket is still firmly in her hands as she demands Okoye for breakfast. Okoye’s eyes began to tear up, her legs began to wobble as the sadness took over.
She crumpled over as she began to sob, “They took my baby. A-and I don’t know what to do.”
She finally said the words she promised herself wouldn’t.
Okoye could only let the grief and her depression guide her from this point on.

If you still doing HCs i’d like to humbly request headcannons for Hu tao and Yae Miko
A/N: YOOOOOO#+-$#@& of course I'm still writing them whenever I have time, friend! I can't even imagine how many times I'm gonna die while writing these, but anyways, I am now alive-
Yae Miko 🌸
Oh lord save me
Well, let's start with Yae as a ler (i am weak)
I think that we can all silently agree that, if she decides to tickle literally anyone, then it's just non-stop teasing-✋🏻
Ei, traveller, Gorou, Sara, literally anyone she's familiar with? Miko doesn't care who you are lmao, she will find your worst spots and you will be destroyed. But not before she's studied all the person's small reactions, the looks on their face at the mention of The Thing, so that she's sure that it doesn't make them scared or nervous in a bad sense. Once Yae makes sure that you don't mind this kind of physical contact, she strikes and after that she'll never let you live that down-
It doesn't matter who her travelling companions are, she's definitely the tickle monster in any group. You know, The Look™, the naiLSSSsss, the electro vision, it all just makes the perfect ler formula and I'm living for it
She's very laid back, both while chasing someone and while being chased, because in the end it's Yae who always decides how to end the chase, it depends on her mood if she's on the recieving end. If she trusts the person enough, she will let them catch her and have their fun for a little bit, but once they're done, Miko will retaliate immediately
“Hm? Where do you think you're going, honey? My little kitsune spirits are hungry for some adorable laughter, they're going to get you~”
But fr tho, the fact that she's electro makes it all so much worse (in a good sense). Using tiny electro shocks while tracing random shapes on your tummy with her nails... 💀
Also, that fluffy pink kitsune tail? If you're sensitive to fluffy things, it's an absolute death, and she would definitely use it to turn you into a giggly puddle-
Miko as a lee tho? She literally doesn't care on what end she's on, she will tease you back with her look and with her playful little threats until you're a blushy mess. And if she becomes “bored” and manages to get out, you better run honey, you better run as fast as you can 💀
As for her worst spots... I'd say Yae is most ticklish on her underarms and belly (ayo don't look at me i don't make the rules ok-), also I think that her fluffy fox ears are pretty ticklish. And her ankles. She just looks like she's ticklish there-
Hu Tao 👻
If the Funeral parlor director finds out you're ticklish... run for your life lol 💀
Hu Tao is definitely the type to dish out surprise tickle attacks or chase her poor victims down while teasing them playfully (“The evil spirit is gonna getcha!~”) in the process, it depends on the person she's planning to attack
Ah, yes, about that. Hu Tao tickles a lot of people. And by that I mean a lot. Zhongli, Xiao, Xiangling, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Xinyan, and Lumine/Aether are her most common victims (she also probably tried to get Qiqi at least once to find her tickle spots akhdjs-), but of course, if she starts travelling and meets new people, they better watch out bro ಠ ͜ʖ ಠ"""
And you can't tell me that she doesn't ✨absolutely love✨ playing “Hide and Tickle”, and of course Tao uses her little ghost friend for the better effect! She just finds it very amusing when her friends' surprised shrieks quickly dissolve into sweet giggles once she attacks from behind <3
Also likes giving cheer-up tickles to her companions! She's very gentle while doing it, just a few giggles is enough for her, because Hu Tao doesn't want the tickles to become overwhelming.
“Awwwh, does our little grumpy pants not want to talk to others all of sudden? Alright then, let's use my special technique! Just so you know, I'll keep going until you tell me what happened~”
Worst spots? Bro, get the ✨thighs✨ bro. Like, you can't tell me they're not insanely tickish, especially the soft inner part. Also the sides of her knees (like, just sorta massage there with your fingers and she'll give you the sweetest giggles aah-💖) and maybe ribs!
She's definitely a kicker. Hu Tao doesn't squirm around all that much, but she kicks a lot to make the tickles less overwhelming! That's why going after her worst spots may result in an accidental injury to the attacker's poor beautiful face-
I think she snorts a lot when she's laughing too hard! Well, she finds it a little embarrassing, but it's actually adorable-
A/N: I guess that's all for now! Finally back to posting occasionally, so let's hope it's not the last thing I'll post in 2023 lmao 💀
Anyways, thanks for the request, and I hope you're having a great day! 🌸✨
