4x4 kick the ballistics

I thought "this is going to be a plot heavy episode, probably caskett heavy bc it is going to be castle heavy" but then it was very ryan heavy & we learned some esposito stuff too. so so super excited for this ep. when i read your posts about history, im always in awe about how much you know about history and how, shall i say, in love you are with it. i used to learn a lot about history and was good at it in school but with the course im taking now which is IT, it kinda clashes with history. i also need to make more brain space.

btw, where do you learn all this or whats your source? through books/internet? it amazes me that you know so much. even then there must be more you want to write about in your posts.

also i agree how many people are taking TV shows that based on historical/real figures into facts when most of it are very fiction based. i dont mind them really but a lot of people dont think for themselves. ironically, im currently at the moment writing a small report about "evaluating information". some of the points given in my lecture slides which i think fits so much with these type of people are that 'they are too reliant on technology or other people for them to do their own thinking'. ive seen them give stupid reasoning such as 'well if its based on the real people so a lot of its must be real'. what pains me even more is to know that they're grown adults. sigh. there's so much i want to vent on this but i think u may know what i would want to say since you too and others feel the same about this.

Omg, this is one of the sweetest asks I have ever gotten! It is always great to receive some kind of recognition for something you love. And you are very right! I loooove history.

And you are also right that I want to write even more. I would never stop writing and no one has time to read such long posts. Even then, my posts are pretty long. So I am by no means a professional historian but I can tell you my process.

First, I watch a documentary or read a book that is more "popular history-oriented". For me, the Plantagenets documentary by Robert Bartlett is a must watch (Its on Youtube and beautifully made). I also have to buy his new book which seems like a killer! Second, I find more detailed books on the person. For example, in the documentary he talks about Geoffrey of Anjou and it captures my interest. Then I look for a detailed book on Geoffrey. Good books have footnotes and from there I read scholarly articles and look through real archives that I can access online. I am lucky since as a uni student, I have access to these for free through university. I recently found a Victorian source that has the measurements for the supposed bones of Anne Mortimer (Richard III's grandmother!!). Its crazy the kind of things that are out there which you can't even find even in the books. A lot of archival materials can be found for free on archive.org too. I really enjoy looking through the archives and making notes on my conclusions. Blog posts are also great gateways. I read https://murreyandblue.wordpress.com/ religiously and there is also an Edward II blog. I hope this helps you somewhat :D. I can always look up things for you guys if you want. And also Facebook groups are awesome for little trivia and information that you may not know otherwise. I found out that Richard, Earl of Cambridge's (Richard III's grandfather and RoY's father) body had been found in the Victorian times and he was described as a giant with his head placed between his knees.

And I agree. For some reason, fiction dehumanizes them rather than humanizing them. These real living people become caricatures. I can think of them on the top of my head that's how basic fiction writers are. And I doubt this will ever change. But we can still enjoy history in our bubble and give patronizing lectures to those that dare take fiction as truth lol. Thanks once more!! This is really very sweet and made me very happy.

i totally get u and that's a completely normal thing to feel when we stan someone really hard out of a sudden. i, myself, thought i got over blur for a little while, someday it might be permanently, idk. it's not like it hasn't happened before. stanning graham is also something that's helping me stay sane during this pandemic in a country where a lot of people aren't giving a single shit abt it, vaccination sounds like a distant dream and our president is a genocidal arrogant dumb waste of oxygen, so trust me, i know!

another thing that's helping me a lot is learning to play new instruments, but that's something that u gotta be really invested in to find really fun. or take this free time to learn other manual hobbies that take practice and dedication to learn, such as drawing, knitting... it really helps take the mind off the disaster the world's in and has been a beacon of hope n happiness for me lately. and don't forget: it gets better. perhaps you're going through a personal situation that doesn't have anything to do with the pandemic, but i do hope everything goes well and as much as im also guilty of doing that, don't make your entire mental health dependent on one famous person. the moment they're cancelled because of anything, that hurts us like we've been stabbed

The 100 6x02: Red Sun Rising

This is my second time watching this episode - I first saw it a month ago, together with 6x01, when they leaked, and I’m glad I saw the two of them together, because I had mixed feelings on 6x01, but 6x02 was amazing.

This is what I wanted from season 6, and what I hope to see more of: character-focused episodes with characters forced to deal with their issues and repressed feelings, likely due to weird goings-on on the planet - like Day Trip on overdrive. The episode also had very interesting flashbacks to the history of the people on the planet, descendants of the Eligius III mission, and hints about many of the mysteries of the planet.

The toxin was a great way to shake up the characters and their relationships and for repressed issues to come to light. My theory on why Murphy was the only one who turned out to be unaffected is that the toxin brings our repressed issues and resentments, but Murphy indulges in negativity and bitterness towards both himself and others when he's in the normal state of mind, so he was fine. Instead, he showed the nicer, more heroic side of him. Which, one may argue, is what he is repressing.

Speaking of which, I’m still not sure what exactly to think about Murphy’s complaints against Clarke. Some people have argued that all of them make sense in a way - from Murphy’s point of view, anyway. But the things he mentioned range from perfectly legitimate complaints to things I can’t make sense of. And most of them are incredibly skewed and one-sided views of events - similar to what happens when haters in the fandom try to mount arguments to prove a character is horrible. Like blaming Clarke for Bellamy hanging him, because she kind of caused it by blaming Murphy for Wells’ death (as if it’s hard to understand why she lost it over her best friend’s death, after Murphy had threatened Wells), even though she didn’t expect people to actually try to kill him, and did her best to stop it; or blaming her for tying up him and Emori and planning to test her in the radiation chamber (which was actually done by a bunch of people including Abby, Miller, Jackson, now-dead Roan, and Raven didn’t exactly do anything to stop it except verbally protest), even though she instead decided to test herself and risk her life (and was the only one who volunteered for it - while Emori got another guy tested and killed). And I can’t even make sense of the remark about him being tied up while she was with Lexa, and why he called himself “disposable in her games”. WTF? How is Titus kidnapping and torturing him Clarke’s fault? It’s been argued that he blames her for leaving him with Ontari after she left with the Flame to look for Luna, but that’s not what he said. And I’m really done with people using the nickname “Commander of Death” as an insult. Clarke got it because she did everything to save the Delinquents, Raven, Abby, Kane and others, while Murphy was off on a pointless road trip with Jaha. Also, irradiating Mount Weather was the right decision, because the only alternative was letting the Mountain Men win and kill everyone, and finally, Bellamy and Monty also made the same decision and bear the same responsibility for killing all of the Mountain Men.

So, I’m not sure if Murphy really meant all he said, or was just being a d1ck as usual, venting his frustrations and trying to get a rise out of people. But the moment he saw Clarke trying to kill herself, he did everything to stop her, and later they were saving each other when Bellamy went psycho and attacked them both.

I loved the callback to 3x05 Hakeldama. (”People die when I’m in charge.... Isn’t that what you said?”) Clarke remembers Bellamy's words, even after 6+ years. She was obviously quite hurt and thought about it a lot, even though they've never discussed it since.

Clarke's hallucination reminded me a lot of what ALIE!Raven told her in 3x11 - the same idea of her being poison to others and causing the deaths of people close to her. (Although this time Wells and Finn were not explicitly mentioned - only Jake Griffin and Lexa were - among people close to her that died, but they were arguably indirectly mentioned as Clarke’s hallucination said that people die trying to protect you. The idea that Jake’s actions were motivated by wanting his daughter to think of him as a good guy is something we haven’t heard before. It may be a sign that Clarke does not completely idealize him as she seemed to do. I’ve said in my season 4 rewatch reviews that season 4 (and 3b) mentions of Lexa seemed pretty idealized, but those since have made more sense: in season 5, the mention of Lexa’s betrayal at Mount Weather and long-delayed apology, and now, “Lexa died for the same reason” (wanting Clarke to see her as a good guy) is accurate to what their relationship was like in season 3, which indicates that Clarke is .) On some level, Clarke really has internalized the idea that she needs to save the others from herself, as these are now the things her own subconsciousness is telling her, which she heard as the voice of her mother, telling her to kill herself so she wouldn’t get Madi killed..

It would be interesting to know what exactly Bellamy's hallucination was. He attacked Murphy and Clarke, but he was talking weird/confused stuff about trying to save people. Bellamy's guiding motivation has always been trying to save people, and feeling bad for failing to do it. But I'm sure he also has repressed resentment towards Clarke, even though he forgave her for leaving him last season - he may not have fully forgiven her in his heart. And I'm sure he also has unresolved feelings from the time he blamed himself for leaving her behind and he believed she was dead. He said something weird about how he won't be the one to die this time - but he wasn't. No doubt he's also been annoyed with Murphy quite often, even though they are friends (as of season 5) and we saw Bellamy try to help Murphy to be more positive and love himself in 5x01, but he probably sometimes just felt fed up with Murphy's disruptive and negative behavior. His hallucination seems to have made Murphy a real threat to the group in Bellamy's mind. "I'm saving us, from both of you".

Bellamy also yelled at Clarke, just as he was stepping from the doors of the room where Echo was locked up with Emori, “In case you didn’t notice, Clarke, I don’t need you anymore” - words likely to hurt her as this is something she feared and at one point came to believe during season 5. But it also felt a lot like what we like to call “protesting too much”. Interesting thing to note, Bellamy never told Clarke that he needed her, at any point during the 5+ seasons - it was always Clarke telling him she needed him, or that they needed each other, which he did not deny.

Echo's hallucination and Emori's taunting were both about the fact that Echo is always the follower who does everything for whatever 'master' she attaches herself to. Finally a meaningful character moment for her. The voices she heard were talking about things we'll probably see more of in her flashbacks. She may have an identity crisis and will probably have to try to figure out who she is on her own.

Side note: There is speculation that Echo may have been the one who killed Costia, Lexa's girlfriend, who, as we know, was tortured and killed at Nia's orders and then her head was left in Lexa's bed. This may be the case because the line "Bring me her head" was stressed and repeated twice. At this point, this wouldn't have any bearing on the plot, but it would be a little reveal for the audience to connect some things from the past.)

Emori's hallucination was all about people trying to kill her, which makes sense with her backstory. First she attacked Murphy because she thought he was going to kill her, then she warned Echo and Clarke that Bellamy would kill them all. But she also cruelly taunted Echo, just like Bellamy taunted Murphy and Clarke.

Miller is another person besides Clarke who was turning the violence on himself. During his psychosis, he was yelling that he didn't want to finish like Obika - the man who died last season after being infected by the mutated worms (eww). He was trying to get the bugs/worms out of his skin - which is also connected to his guilt over the things he did and participated in as Blodreina's follower. Jackson also believed Miller had bugs under his skin and was stabbing him to try to get them out. He and Miller were sharing the same hallucination (what is known as folie a deux, shared psychosis, or literally, madness shared by two). As they pointed out in their conversation in 6x01, Miller was the one who did things, while Jackson felt guilty for not stopping things - and not he was trying to intervene save his boyfriend, in his capacity as a doctor.

Clarke and Bellamy are likely to have some interesting conversations next episode, after they woke up, and Bellamy was obviously shocked by realizing what he did to her and to Murphy, and that she had to stab him to stop him.

BTW, now we know what the writers came up with to explain Bob Morley’s leg injury.

Octavia is in a really bad emotional place. She clearly feels guilty,,but won't admit it, and instead lashes out, blames and antagonizes the others, provoking them to punish her - even kill her. In the season 5 finale, she wanted a redemptive heroic death, but didn't get it. Living with her guilt, admitting her mistakes, changing, that's much harder. She would rather die.

Also, Octavia on her knees, asking for death, was reminiscent of Bellamy in Day Trip during his hallucination. Is Octavia finally going to have the character development he had seasons ago? But first, she needs to realize that sins don't get "washed away" if you're successful in your intention to get your people to their destination, which seemed to have been her guiding idea during season 5 and the reason why she was so obsessed with being the one to take them to Eden.

Diyoza was amazing as always. I usually don't like to use the word "badass", but what else do I call her? She's direct, no-nonsense, a great military strategist, snarky... what's not to love?

Madi had quite a badass entrance, too. We’ll see how she’ll deal with her ambiguous role of being officially a Commander, while the adults are actually making leadership decisions and leaving her behind to be protected as a child, but Gaia found a nice way to make it look different when she agreed with Abby’s decision to leave her in the ship for protection with “You’re too important, Heda”.

Abby showed her ruthless side when she blackmailed Diyoza with the option of not helping with the birth of her child, and when just sat there while Octavia was getting beaten up, and only finally intervened when she was about to get killed, and Jordan and Niylah were yelling at her to stop it... and even that may have been because she had it pointed out that this was what Octavia wanted. She probably has a lot of rage from Kane's clinical death/almost-death that Octavia kind of caused.

The surviving hijacker said that the trees eat the bugs.(They have eaten them all by now) Interesting planet.

The hijackers are all Nightbloods, as you would expect from descendants of the Eligius mission. So who is the radiation fence supposed to keep out? If the people in the woods are red-bloods, how did that happen?

The hijackers were really concerned with the dead bodies, and in a way that seems to go way beyond normal reverence for human remains. Diyoza told the survivor "Newsflash, they're dead", but I think these people have a way of recreating dead people by cloning or something similar - however, they would also need a way to recreate the consciousness, because otherwise, clones are just identical twins, not the same people.

A lot of the evidence for this comes from the flashback, which was really interesting and full of reveals:

The Eligius mission was on the planet 236 years ago, which means they came to the planet before the first nuclear apocalypse, which happened 229 years ago (97 years + about 6 months that passed from 1x01 to 4x13 + 6 years + 125 years).

Josephine Ada Lightbourne (they made sure that we know that’s her name) and her astronaut father (played by Sean Maguire) are strikingly similar to Clarke and her father, and not just physically. She even draws like Clarke. I still think that Lightbournes may be related to the Griffins, If they are not, then this was deliberately done to draw the parallels.

Josephine Ada Lightbourne is also the name of the author of the Red Sun Rising book - even though the book could have only been written after the first psychosis incident that we see in the flashback, and it seemed that Josie got killed by her father during his psychosis, alongside her mother a bunch of other people.

Speculation based on info from the trailers, promo and details about the next episode:

Josephine was a taxonomist, and her boyfriend, Dr Gabriel Santiago, was a geneticist, and the next episode is called "Children of Gabriel"... Gabriel also mentioned that they have embryos for reproduction, which means they brought fully formed embryos to the planet, or created them there. But if they have been trying to replicate dead humans for two centuries (since Sean Maguire's character killed so many of the members of the mission), they have to have some sort of a method of transferring consciousness, too, because otherwise, clones are just like identical twins, not the same people. Russell (JR Bourne), the leader of the people from the Sanctum, is obviously the descendant of Maguire’s character, both because of his looks and because the trailer revealed his last name Lightbourne.

My impression, based on the info from trailers etc., is that Russell's people are elitist, self-righteous a-holes who decide that only some are 'worthy' to live in their "Paradise". But it's interesting that "Lightbourne" means something very similar to "Lucifer" (or vice versa - the latter is "light bearer"). This doesn't exactly scream trustworthy good guys, and neither does the attitude we see from the trailer, or the fact that they dress like people from the Capitol and live in something that looks like a castle from a Renaissance Fair. And if they really do have a way of re-creating dead humans, would put a whole new meaning to the whole Sanctum thing and the divide between those within and those outside (the people in the woods?) that Russell's people have exiled/are not letting in as unworthy! Stakes are really high if they are basically deciding who the chosen ones are with the right to "live forever".

I gotta vent about my roommate’s shitty fiancée again, but this time it’s much more petty and lighthearted lol

I never really got what “mansplaining” was until I met D, my roommate’s fiancée. This is all so inconsequential but so telling.

So there was a crane fly (also known as a mosquito eater) in the apartment and my roommate N called me over to take care of it since she doesn’t handle bugs well. I oblige and she thanks me and asks “Is it true they eat mosquitoes? Can they bite?”

I’m an entomology major, so I spend a lot of time studying insects and other creepy crawlies with no backbones, and despite being an education major she enjoys asking me about them and learning stuff all the time. It’s cool, I always love to rant about how cool bugs are.

So I tell her “nah, that’s just a misnomer, they usually don’t eat anything at all as adults.” Simple question with a simple answer. My professor is really big on clearing up misconceptions. She operates our department’s pest hotline, and hears a lot of things like “omg I saw a brown recluse imma die” (we’re in California, brown recluses are not) or “I was bitten by a silverfish!” (that is not a thing that happens). Day 1 of talking about flies in Entomology 101 she makes sure to say “btw crane flies and mosquitoes are related but not the same thing, and mosquito eaters don’t eat mosquitoes so don’t even ask”. So I’m like... pretty positive about this.

Then D walks in and is like “what’s going on?” so N tells him her new fun fact about crane flies. To which he responds, “No, I’m pretty sure they eat mosquitoes. That’s why they’re called skeeter eaters.”

I tell him the same thing I told N, that it’s a misconception and they don’t feed and blah blah blah. But he sticks to his guns. “No, you must be confusing it with something else.”

Like, bro... I just explained to you how it’s just a colloquial name and their basic biology literally doesn't allow it. But he just wasn’t having it. I brought up Wikipedia and it was like he just wouldn’t believe me.

Of course because N has to be a Good Wife™, she’s like “oh okay, good to know” and agrees with D. I let it go because this really isn’t a big deal, but it was so odd for him to just deny the reality of the matter for his own preconceived notion.

Then another time we were talking about... pokemon, I think? It somehow turned into a discussion on genetics and mutations. I made a mention of how it’s all random chance and there’s often seemingly unrelated side effects to genetic changes. To which he’s like “nah, it can’t be random. isn’t that how evolution works? it makes things better.”

lolno mutations are just a crapshoot and the things that stick around are because they (usually) make things better. But usually an adaptation in one area leads to a downgrade in another. If evolution had an end goal of making animals ideal, koalas wouldn’t exist. Again, he literally refuses to believe me. Just sort of a dismissive “well, whatever.” I don’t know if it’s due to his heavily religious beliefs or the fact he’s a linguistics/legal studies/Spanish/English/programming/art student (he changes his major as often as he changes clothes), but he just refused to entertain the idea that he could be wrong about something so basic.

I’m not saying that he doesn’t listen to me because I’m a girl and therefore what I say doesn’t hold as much merit to him, but I’m not saying that isn’t the case. I’ve heard him talking about how dumb he thinks feminism is and he interrupts N all the time even if it’s a conversation between me and her. That’s not to mention the fact he thinks of household chores as “women’s work” and refuses to do them without N around to help.

Also bonus fun fact about D: although he used to cuss, he doesn’t anymore probably due to his increasingly intense religiousness. That’s fine and dandy. But while he censors words like “bitch” even when quoting something, he has no problem with the n-word (not the hard-R, but still). I don’t like to bring political stuff onto my blog, but he’s a white guy who unironically watches Prager U, so...

relationship klance

we always talk about pre-relationship klance like what about the actual relationship ya feel

to start off they absolutely get together in the dorkiest way possible like its either 100% sappy or 100% embarrassing and by accident there is no in between

they did that fanfic corny scene where lance was about to confess and keith realized before he even finished his sentence and just goes for the smooch

except its terrible theres too much teeth and their noses crash into each other its just a mess

its also both their first kiss

even after they both confess its takes them like a week to get up the courage to ask each other out bc theyre both nerds

lance plans on trying to keep it small bc he thinks keith doesnt really want anything big and cheesy

keith plans on absolutely making it as cheesy as possible bc he thinks lance would prefer big and cheesy to small and ordinary

they literally plan to ask each other out on the same damn day

keith asks hunk to make lances favorite food for lunch and asks pidge to hook up the projector so they can watch an altean romcom they wont understand anyway but catch keith trying to take notes during the fluffy scenes

hunk and pidge tease them to hell and back but theyre really happy for them so they go through with his requests

lance and keith both keep looking at each other during the movie wondering if they’ll be like that at some point and blush throughout the whole damn thing

everyone else thinks its so so so fucking cheesy but oh my god hunk and shiro are so happy for them bc its been a long time coming

at dinner they sit extra close to each other and casually brush fingers. theyre obviously blushing throughout the whole thing

its just a week of blushing okay

lance gets so happy and smiles so wide when he realizes its his favorite food that keith just stares with a soft expression and when lance meets his eye they both blush but keith doesnt look away as fast as he used to bc he can have this

after dinner they walk to the map room to look at the stars bc its become their thing and lance has had Enough with the brushing hands so he offers keith his palm and keith fucking swoons when they interlock fingers

they both planned to ask each other out at the star deck so obviously both of their plans crash bc after a weird silence where theyre BOTH thinking hard and turning into blushing, fidgeting, and sweating messes they turn to each other with the same glint in their eye

ROMANCE ENSUETH

in the beginning theyre just really really really nervous still bc theyve both been pining for a long time and dont wanna mess this up

when they start out, lance initiates most of the physical contact first like hand holding, putting his arm around keiths shoulders, that sorta thing bc keith is so fucking nervous and was never good at expressing himself but he eventually initiates it to he loves seeing how happy lance looks when he does

theyre both flustered messes but keith is really bad

they dont kiss yet bc theyre practically walking nervous systems

they hold hands a lot tho lance has soft hands bc of his skin care routines so a lot of times keith will just idly play with lances fingers because it calms him

keith rubs his thumb on the back of lances hand and lance fucking dies every time

lance still makes fun of keiths hair but it dies down little by little bc hes always wanted to play in that dang mullet tbh

one day keith catches lance just intensely staring at his hair and before he can even ask whats up lance asks if he can do his hair

theyre both messes when lance gets behind and starts playing in keiths hair but eventually lance just gets distracted with it and keith finds it really soothing. moreso than he thought it’d be

it becomes a reoccurring thing. lance will run his hands through keiths hair and keith just loves it so much it feels so nice

it started on the couch in that lounge room they have but one time hunk walked in and keith was practically passed out with his head on lances lap and he felt so embarrassed bc it feels really intimate and they both would rather keep stuff like that in their rooms so they do

whenever they go to a planet keith tries to look for things he thinks lance would like. hes not good with words so he tries to express himself through other means

the first time keith gave lance a gift from a planet it was a cat plushie bc its pretty fucking obvious lance likes cats

its red

when keith gives it to him he stares at the ground and just like thrusts it out to him bc hes so nervous and lance takes it slowly, cautiously, and when hes stopped astral projecting into another plane of existence he kisses keith on the cheek bc he love love loooovvveess it

he names it keef and cuddles it all the time. keith always just stares like >:0 bc its really cute and he loves his boyfriend so much but also bc oh my god are we gonna cuddle like that someday omg lance is my boyfriend ohmy go d holl y s hi

he falls down the rabbit hole often

lance on the other hand loves bears and loves anything that he thinks could represent them like he’ll just point out two rocks side by side or some shit to hunk and be like “thats gonna be me and keith one day :) <3″ and hunk juts pats him on the back

DONT EVEN GET STARTED ON SEEING OTHER COUPLES IN PUBLIC

whenever theyre planet side and lance sees a romantic couple he squeezes keiths hand (bc theyre already holding hands they never stop) and gets this fond and hopeful look on his face

lance wants every planet they meet to know keith is his boyfriend (he never gets tired of saying it) so whenever theyre at diplomatic functions and they have to talk to the aliens, he’ll always bring it up somehow

it ranges from “so it must be difficult fighting this war” “yeah but having keith by my side helps” to “our planet welcomes you young paladin” “thanks and also heres my boyfriend keith the red paladin you know the right arm of voltron? that guy? yeah thats my boyfriend. my boyfriend is the red paladin his name is keith. we’re in a relationship. did you know that? its great im so happy omg this food is so good btw did i mention im dating keith and that keith is my boyfriend?”

lance still flirts sometimes but he never actually wants it to go anywhere. at first this makes keith a little disoriented and he mopes but then they talk and Communicate and lance says that he just likes to flatter people bc it makes them feel good and stuff and so they work it out. so lance still flirts but only a little and not as strongly as he used to

speaking of communication, in the beginning theyre talking fucking s u ck ed they’d misunderstand each other and it would result in sadness and venting to their respective besties but the third time they get shoved in a room and told to just “talk it out” they realized that they really need to be more open/clear about stuff

eventually they get really good at talking about things to each other. their problem wasnt that they wouldnt talk to each other it was that they just couldnt understand the other so they work on getting to know each other better and it really helps and works out so so great

they both have issues, lance with his self esteem and keith with his abandonment issues and they know that the other cant fix it bc thats not what its about but they definitely help.

unlike lance, keith knows who he is and is confident in his abilities so he tries to help him in that aspect

unlike keith lance has always been a people person and is family oriented so he tries to help keith slowly get overcome it

theyre both really good for each other. they cant “fix” each other obviously but they help one another out so much and it means a lot

they have their first kiss like two months after they got together

it was after a battle and no not a deadly one you heathens a really really awesome one the teams all smiles and lance pulled a cool move at the end when they formed voltron and they saved a planet and everyones soooo happy and when they get back to the castle lance bolts to keith and just spins him around in a hug smiling and laughing and they smooch

its the best thing theyve ever experienced

they dont stop kissing after that. catch them giving each other little pecks all the time

at this point they arent as nervous as when they first started

after long battles theyll just kinda fall into each other

they dont do it in public/in front of the team but they cuddle a l o t

keiths two favorite places are in the crooks of lances neck and on his chest to hear his heartbeat

lance likes to kiss keiths forehead bangs in the way or not if he thinks his man needs some smooches he’ll give him some fucking smooches

the first time they fall asleep together (i mean literally fall asleep not anything nasty pls dont sexualize these boys) locks in for both of them that This Is It ya know

theyre cuddling in lances room keith wearing his jacket and has his face smooshed against his chest lance is playing in keiths hair and his lips are lightly touching his forehead

its after a diplomatic meeting

theyre both really tired and keith thinks he should probably go back to his room but they both feel too comfortable and everything feels so nice so he doesnt

lance likes listening to keiths voice and vice versa so theyre literally just saying nonsense

theyre voices drift off into a comfortable silence and eventually they both fall asleep

keith wakes up first and hes confused but then he looks up at lance and how peaceful he looks when hes sleeping and just stares

lance wakes up a little while later and meets eyes with keith but then he notices keiths unruly bed hair and the small spot of drool by keiths mouth and almost cries

its the best sight either of them have ever seen and at the same time they both think to themselves that they wouldnt mind waking up like this for the rest of their lives

i was disappointed yes, but i'm confident enough in him, his communication, his maturity that he would let me know if this is something that's passed, something he's no longer interested in pursuing and he hasn't yet so i'm remaining hopeful, you know? he still reaches out, he still is very present and that says something. actions speak louder, i like to hope

i think he does accept me for who i am, just like how i accept him for who is. i know he's fucked up from this last relationship. hard. it's unreal what's happened to him, but i accept that 100%. we're all imperfect, and i'm willing to be that person for him who's there through anything, i really am. it seems to be reciprocated, but idk. things can always change too. but.

he definitely is showing his authentic self, he's opening up in ways that i can tell are really hard for him. he's a guy that likes to be confident and know which end is up all the time, and he really doesn't right now. he texts things that i'm sure are so hard for him to say but i appreciate it so much. he really seems to feel comfortable w me. he told me that it's so easy to talk to me and he appreciates me which is always nice to hear. regardless of how i feel about someone, i like to be the person that can be there through anything, you know? i went through a LOT in my early 20s and it taught me that everyone needs support sometimes, and it's important to be that person for sure.

without getting into too much detail bc that's an invasion of his trust and privacy, he got hardcore mistreated, cheated on while living with his partner, got a lot of rumours spread about him to his friends and family post-breakup and just... yeah. it's a lot. i get it.

in terms of your question, yes i've told him how i feel. i told him really early on.. like after we'd hung out only once. it was about five weeks ago. i told him that i didn't expect to feel so strongly about him so quickly but it is what it is, and he assured me that we were on the same page etc etc but idk. with all of this shit coming to the surface and him being in the space he's in right now, that could have changed. i suppose that i don't know for sure. i always forget how recent all of this was for him - the phone calls and all this "new information" was.... two weeks ago. fuck.

i'm really hoping that it's not C. i'm hoping that he's not just keeping me around for a backup, i don't know. i mean i guess it's possible. i've been in that position a lot. but he seems to check in a lot and my housemates tell me that it would be like a full time job to check up on me, and other girls, as often as he does with me. does that make sense? idk.

i think that i am willing to take the risk. i mean, we're all in quarantine right now so there's only so much i can do anyways. i think he deserves, based on the connection we developed so quickly, to be given a chance. well, not him per se but the idea of me and him. i don't know. i think so? if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. but i don't want to be the person who runs away because he's in a bad headspace. i need to at least wait it out for a bit.

i don't think i'm open to being just friends with him, which is really upsetting because he's quickly turned into my best friend. i turn to him for everything. every vent. every happy thing. everything. and it's shit to lose that. but i wouldn't be able to just be friends with him and see him move past everything with someone else, you know? it would hurt way too much. my housemate asked me that same question a few days ago and honestly, no. couldn't do it.

but yeah i'm definitely happy that we had that conversation. it was super important and kind of brought us closer, if that makes sense. i understand him a lot more and he knows that i'm here for him through it all. i talked him through a bunch of the thoughts in his head and you could tell that he really needed it. i really love being there for him. he deserves it, he's the greatest boy

ok so i just got into them so i dont know all thier little quirks and stuff but i really love what ive seen of jun and sanha thus far.

I like that myungjun has the loveliest voice, like i have such a honey voice kink lmao and i think his vocals really drew me to liking him.
