it was… strange. ouma seemed so fragile in this state. she’d never thought of him like that before, despite his diminutive stature, but now, he more closely resembled a doll than a human being. the rigor mortis setting in would likely extinguish that thought completely within the next hour, though.

ouma was a liability, in a game like this. one couldn’t tell his lies from the truth, and he antagonized everyone. she was the only one who seemed able to stand his company for long, and that was because he felt familiar somehow, like an annoying younger brother.

chiaki sat down hard next to his body, staring with eyes that didn’t quite see in front of her.

for all his flaws, he’d abhorred the idea of killing. if there was nothing else respectable about the self-proclaimed “supreme leader”, there was at least his adherence to a strict moral code, however blue and orange it might be.

a tear slipped down her cheek. chiaki wiped it off, fighting the rest of them back as they threatened to overflow.

“hey, ouma-kun…” she mumbled, leaning over his corpse. “this better not be one of your dumb pranks… yeah? i’m gonna be really mad if you’re just messing with me…”

no response.

Another cute thread idea I’d totally love to do: it’s around 8 or 9 at night and Shuichi’s just chilling at his house. His friend hits up with a text like ‘I’m outside your house, come down’ and he’s just like ‘???’

So his friend wanted to chill with by just...taking a walk around the city, maybe alongside the shore or something? Shuichi loves cityscapres and the city at night really looks pretty to him. Maybe he’d been feeling down that day or lately in general, so his friend, knowing he loves the city at night, wanted to take him out for a nice walk.

And by the end of night, he’s feeling much better!!

i was talking to someone about how it was sad he knew he needed everyone to hate him for his plan to work out. at least that is how i interpret it

// Ouma was the first one to see how “working together” was the key part of how Despair works in DanganRonpa and how trust can lead to murder.  He knew that there was a ringleader/mastermind among their group, but there was no one to visibly fill that spot, so he took it so he could stop the killing game.  Technically, his plan did stop the killing game, but Shirogane once again intervened in order to kick it back up via Remember Light.

outofMP: I think all the people saying Bryce Papenbrook threw me off for a while and I was like ‘yea sure it’s him whatever’. but watching the demo fully, I’ve kinda gone ‘wait, no it’s not???’

I’ve watched Digimon Adventure 02 53 times and counting, I know that voice.
