I don't really know what houses all the kittens went to, but a black one definitely went to the Haddocks. Siri gave it to them as a little present for Zephyr and Nuffink to learn smt abt taking care of a small littol creature but Hiccup and the cat quickly bonded and now dad and the cat are friends (even tho. Toothless is the true bestie. He will forever be the true bestie). I'd personally say they'd name him Fiddlesticks (after Hiccup's cat in the books)

They'd also give a kitten to Snotlout (cuz they thought he was lonely) and ofc it was a little ginger one. He'd name it smt like Fireworm (also after Snotlout's dragon in the books lmao) and now it lives in front of his hearth <3

For the rest of the kittens, I'm leaving it open to interpretation! I think that would be fun haha so if you've got any ideas abt it I'd love to hear

I do talk abt Nivvie a lot!! He's such a skrunkly lil character, glad you like him and Klaus! I'm slowly (kinda, a little) working on reworking Niv's plotlines and I really like the route things are taking for his story. Can't really work on it too often tho bc of both a college art degree that takes up most of my time, a part time library job and market prepping :') but i'd be up to talk about the basics of it if anyone wants to hear it!

Abt Zephyr and Nuffink!! During Niv's story they're about 15-16 (Nuff) and 18-19 (Zeph) respectively. Basically, they're growing up! Zephyr is taking up the whole heiress thing very seriously and is a bit of a maces and talons master. She practised a lot (both with her dad, mom, and sometimes auntie Siri) as a kid and really prides herself on being really good at it. She's very opinionated (very much so) and very much her own person (which her parents obviously love abt her).

Nuffink has outgrown bonking his head on furniture and is now bonking his head on everything else. A lil rascal fr fr!! Really stubborn, a bit harsh, a pretty good fighter (with his bare hands) and has a lot of respect for his mom and dad's friends. Not so much for his sister, tho, but yknow, that's normal in sibling relationships. Loves his grandfather's old carved toys a lot too, really treasures them and tries to replicate him whenever possible. He's got a lot of growing up to do! But don't they all at that age.

I'm still cracking my brain a bit on what other kids are around in the next gen (mainly bc I can't really decide on who has kids and who doesn't). It's a topic fr fr!! I do love a lot of the next gen characters other creators on here have made and sometimes I like featuring my friends' oc characters in stories/plotpoints. For example, @nosuda-cringe 's whole cast!! It's always fun to do and bc my mind is often so busy with other art projects (mainly for school), it's a bit easier for me to just focus on Nivvie and his story for now.

But, I would like to at some point create some more next gen characters! I've already done so in the past but it's really hard to stick to characters for me sometimes, which is why they often get reworked/renamed/removed/are never mentioned again if you go through my blog. So for clarification, Zephyr and Nuffink exist in Niv's next gen! Who else? Give me some more time to think abt it haha

Harmony is the daughter of twilight and pinkie, and the oldest of the group, she’s actually a lot like fluttershy personality wise, she’s very calm and reserved but often spaces out in situations. They are very into astrology.

Daisy is a very silly pegasus, youngest of the three, they got a lot of their pranks from dashie and although their pranks are usually light-hearted, they sometimes get into trouble with their antics. Besides that, they are very loving to their friends.

Paprika, daughter of Rarity and Applejack, is a very blunt pony, honest just like AJ. Other ponies often see her personality as “rude” but she really means nothing mean by it, and is a very sweet pony to her friends. She has an older brother. (i wanna draw him eventually!!!)

So after hearing about sfth's next D&D streams having some longform characters, I can't not create some character concepts for them.

Anyway, here's Peter Steven :D

(Also a note to @i-may-be-an-emu: I know I said in DMs that he wouldn't work well as a D&D character. I take that back, this was incredibly fun to make and druid!Peter is my new favourite headcanon now.)

Name: Peter Steven (obviously) Race: half elf Class: druid Background: prodigy Alignment: neutral good

Strength: 1 Dexterity: 2 Constitution: 1 Intelligence: 3 Wisdom: 2 Charisma: 0 (side note: this is after adding the +2 charisma from his half elf race, I originally intended for him to have a -2 charisma)

Proficiencies: survival, animal handling, nature, and medicine

Personality traits Daring and loyal, this adventurer is the ideal companion when adventuring. Between his proficiency as a healer and love for nature, Peter is a sweet and gentle soul despite his intimidating stature. While his towering height might suggest that he's more of a fighter, Peter is actually quick on his feet and prefers using hit-and-run tactics rather than fighting head-on. He contributes this, along with his strange affinity for milk, to his upbringing though the others rarely question it.

Backstory Peter was born to upper-class parents. While he wasn't quite at aristocractic status, the Steven family name was quite well-respected in the village. Peter himself was also quite well-liked by the village when he was younger, especially when he proved himself to be a studious and bright young boy. Although he had some strange hobbies and dreams, such as digging holes in his back garden and one day becoming a milkman, the Stevens showered their son with love and affection nonetheless.

However, as the days went on, Peter's height grew at an rapid—almost unnatural—rate, akin to the growth cycle of an elf. Rumours quickly spread throughout the village that Peter was an illegitimate child, and in the blink of an eye, the Steven family name was beginning to tarnish. Despite his lack of pointy ears, no villager would ever reject the opportunity for a good gossip, no matter how unrealistic it might be. After months of discreet finger points and accusatory whispers, Jemima cracked under the pressure. Peter was forced to use a wheelchair to hide his height, and he was forbidden from leaving the confines of his house. Despite her efforts, the rumours didn't cease. Soon, the Steven family name was in shambles and simply going out to the market earned the family judgemental stares and mean-spirited snickers.

Unsure of what else to do, Peter's parents sent him to boarding school to get him away from the scornful looks. Even at boarding school, the lies regarding the wheelchair persisted, and every day the guilt ate away at Peter's conscience. The boarding school was cruel and unjust, the torture chamber located in the building's basement should be enough evidence of that. Peter suffered it all in silence, believing that if he was a good little boy and behaved himself, his parents would want him back again. It was all make-belief, and some part of Peter's subconscious knew this, but every night he would whisper to a squirrel that perched on his window about the day when he would leave this tortous school and return to his life as the child of Jemima and Jim Steven.

One day after years of boarding school, a 19-year-old Peter received a letter addressed to him from his mother. He excitedly opened it, expecting an announcement that he was going home, and was met with the stark truth: the rumours were right, he was the illegitimate child between his mother and the elven milkman. In the letter, his mother explained that she and his father were divorcing, and that she planned on marrying the milkman. He was asked to join this new family as a Jeffrey, living a life that would certainly be less prestigious than before, but one that would be honest. Peter was going home.

But as he lay on his glorified rock of a bed, Peter came to the realisation that he didn't want to join this new family. It made him sick to his stomach to imagine taking family photos, with Mr Jeffrey's hand on his shoulder as if it was the most natural thing ever, all three of them smiling and acting like nothing was wrong. Then a daring thought emerged in his head: he wanted to escape.

On the day of his apparent departure, Peter sat on his wheelchair one last time and was escorted to the carriage. But just as he was about to go on, Peter jumped up and ran into the forest with nothing but his suitcase and the squirrel who hid in his scarf. That day was his 20th birthday. From that day onwards, Peter lived in the woods, foraging for food and conversing with the woodland creatures using his special druidic tongue.

welcome to: am i talking myself into it or out of it? anyway, if i were to write s/tefanie s/alvatore as mentioned in l/egacies, but, like, tessa edition tm, she would: look like this, be the child of divorced parents, be a total mama's girl in every sense of the word, have inherited her dad's looks, have very complicated feelings in regards to her dad, would definitely prefer her uncle, would not go to the s/alvaschool despite being a walking-talking vampire cure.

Who did you think would win in a battle?

Wyatt Halliwell or Hope Mikaelson?

Definitely Wyatt Halliwell! Mostly because I haven't actually watched a single episode of any of the Vampire Diaries shows yet, so I have no idea who Hope is. (The main character in Legacies, I think?) (Don't worry, it's on my to watch list, my watch list is just really long atm.) I will say though that Wyatt is gonna be my answer for most situations. (Also thanks for the chance to do a little meta about Wyatt and his powers.)

From an objective standpoint in regards to powers, Wyatt wins against pretty much anything. I've said before and I'll say it again, I believe that Wyatt managed to break the Grand Design in the unchanged future with the exposure of magic, and I think that means he was able to kill some beings that he should not have traditionally been able to, aka the Cleaners and maybe even the Angel(s) of Destiny. (Which also loops into one of my now favorite headcanons that prophecies are made as a warning that a witch capable of breaking the Grand Design is coming.)

The catch, and how I'm able to write Wyatt in literally any conflict in my next gen fics, is that he has a critical weakness: he is terrified at the possibility of what he's capable of. (I have also mentioned that interpretation before, in connection with how Billie unintentionally makes it worse.) That kind of power is a lot for one person to handle, and Wyatt outclasses quite literally everyone around him by a large margin. I think that in a sense, his own fear serves as a kind of limiter on his power because he won't use them to the fullest extent. This is partially because he doesn't fully know what he's capable of because he doesn't experiment with his powers or push boundaries the same way that Chris does. While Wyatt has that kind of power, he lacks a greater amount of control and precision because he doesn't practice.

In a situation where Wyatt does go full-out, however, I think that he wins, no question. It's incredibly rare for him to do so, but one of his primary powers (projection) is a version of reality warping, y'know? That's not even getting into the fact that he has energy waves that can flat-out incinerate enemies without even trying. The challenge is getting him to a place where he doesn't hold back.
