#i love my rice cooker

I don't know if I reblogged the post or if it's buried deep in my queue, but that post that's going around that's like,, how long have you been depriving yourself of good things, yes you get little treats but do you spend twenty dollars on something you dont necessarily need but would genuinely be nice for you just to have? The example the post gives is a rice cooker and I always thought it was a silly thing to get because I can make rice on the stove? But the post cracked something in me (and maybe it has something to do with my mental problems acting up thank you January please send the sun back thanks)

Anyway i do a lot of rice dishes because they're easy and I usually have eggs dried chives and something else in the house but for whatever reason, the last few months, i just cant bring myself to make rice. So I bought a rice cooker

I used it for the first time and I nearly cried today. It was just nice, it's such nice rice, and it's easy it's so so easy

I made another tfoc his name’s scup and he’s so annoying and useless his commanding officer keeps trying to get him killed. but he always comes back. and the medic is always mysteriously busy. he has a massive stock of duct tape and drinks dubious nanite boosting powerdrinx to try to heal faster (he is getting scammed)

Just thought I'd let you know that my current autism meal is a bowl of white rice with a soft boiled (Sometimes poached) egg on top, drizzled with teriyaki and chili sauce. Not homemade obviously because this is this is meant to be a quick filling treat

Hrm well depending on the time you have, my current simple rice faves are a brown rice bowl with falafel, mango sticky rice, and curried rice! Im eating a lot of rice with natto too, but idk a lot of ppl who like that ngl

i’ve been being held hostage by social situations since i got up all i wanted to do was go to get groceries & to the pharmacy for toiletries but then i ran into a neighbour at the pharmacy & then we walk to tj maxx bc he was insistent & i didn’t want to be rude & then we get back to the flats like 15 min before the town hall meeting & then we go & it’s not even a real town hall so i was BEEFIN for NOTHIN & it ran FOREVER & then i ran into the 2 in the flat below me & then raid forcefed me & i got in to my room 5 to midnight 😭😭
